Nice home, very quiet, good value. The house has some odd quirks, but nothing inconvenient. The house was a good value for our traveling family, as we were able to take advantage of all the beds (including air mattresses!). We didn’t make much use of the kitchen, but the kitchen amenities were nice. The host was very responsive, and check-in was very easy.

Everything was exactly as advertised, and a unique place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay on Josh's houseboat. Clean and well stocked, we had everything we needed. The memory foam mattresses were a nice touch. Josh was a great communicator when we had questions, about nearest restaurants, etc. It was a great trip!

Josh’s boat was really amazing. Way better and more comfortable than I thought it would be. Our young children had a blast hanging on the boat. We took the canoe out a couple of times and the water was so nice. There is good WiFi, but bring a hotspot, if you will be streaming on multiple devices. Friendly neighbors and a pretty good restaurant next door, this place is great. We’ll be back for sure.

Josh's place was extremely nice and had all the amenities you needed for a relaxing stay on the lake. We highly recommend staying and experiencing what it is like to vacation right on the lake in a beautiful boat! Josh was quick to answer any questions and a wonderful host!

This place is nice and quiet. It’s in a more rural area but is near an interstate and not far from any down town areas. I would highly recommend this stay for price, style, and location.

We had a very restful one night's stay here. It has a comfortable bed, nice hot shower, and charming furnishings. This is one of the nicest airbnb's we've stayed in.

B.J. and David were perfect hosts. We had problems arriving and David stayed on the phone to coach us in. The private suite was perfect. Very roomy. Cant wait to stay with them in the near future.

We stayed at David and BJ's place for about 7 months while we were waiting for our new home to be built. We selected their apartment off of AirB&B and really hit the jackpot. The apartment is small but fit our needs. The hosts were simply exceptional. One of many examples....We were there through several seasons. We asked David if he had a table we could sit at outside so we could eat and enjoy the beautiful Tennessee weather. The next day he not only had a picnic table set up for us but a gas grill! This is just one of many such instances. The apartment is set in the country about 15 + minutes from most shops etc. Tranquil , peaceful and beautiful. We really had a wonderful interlude within close driving distance to all our needs. We highly recommend David and BJ 's Air B&B. Suzanne and Peter Brown

Our experiences with Airbnb rentals have all been favorable. But our stay at Captain David’s definitely tops the list! The home is located in a beautiful and quaint area near Greenback, Tennessee. The picturesque log cabin is nestled into a sloping hillside and bordered by woods. We really enjoyed the outside area with a fire pit, comfortable outdoor furniture and grill. An outdoor TV made it the perfect place to hang out and watch college football on Saturday night! Everything is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! We felt at home immediately! But best of all, we feel that our hosts became lifetime friends! We will return!

Very nice place with very nice people. We enjoyed hanging out with them as well. We met them and invited them down on the patio out back each night with us also. Watched football and races and had a nice fire each night. Really enjoyed the location, the cabin and the hosts. We will definitely be going back again. Very relaxing trip!

Beautiful place

Absolutely beautiful property with great accommodating hosts. We had plenty of space to park out van, car hauler and second car. The bed was super comfortable! We slept great after a long day of exploring the mountains and local towns. Lots to do within a short drive. We loved star gazing in the backyard patio at night. Only thing we would add would be wifi. Everything else was perfect. We would definitely recommend this property!

Such gracious hosts! They were very quick to respond to our needs during our stay. The farmhouse was charming and offered so much entertainment for any age any where from games to cable tv. All of the brochures offered local attractions, as well. The driveway up to the house may seem a little turbulent to some, but you are climbing to the top of the mountain for an absolutely beautiful view from the house! It's easier than it looks! We'll be sure to come back one day!

The house was very cozy and felt homie. It’s a great weekend getaway for friends or families, it has plenty of room. It is very high up on a mountain (drive way is long and steep but she had already mentioned that) so the view is great in the mornings and evenings. Heather was extremely nice about everything and made sure to let us know what we needed to before our stay. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Sweetwater area I would recommend this place!

Lots of space to spread out and relax. Comfortable beds.

The residence and its location are beautiful. We sat out on the enclosed porch in late November, enjoying the view of the surrounding, peaceful countryside. When the wind and rain picked up, we stayed warm inside and gathered in the family room that had plenty of space for all the adults and room for the children to play. The atmosphere is perfect - inside and out; we felt completely comfortable and at home as soon as we arrived. For us, it was a midway point to hold a family Thanksgiving reunion. Heather went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, including games and toys for our grandchildren. We will remember our stay - with gratitude - for years to come.

Cozy cabin at a great price, in a serene setting

We had to make a quick trip to the Knoxville area for a family matter, and Ray and Cynthia's place was superb. My wife and I enjoyed the charming cottage and all the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was incredibly clean and inviting. We highly recommend it!

Cheryls place is perfectly located on 411 for folks traveling thru ... it is a very safe and secure home with a feel at home atmosphere ! My dog Charlie ran for 2 hours in the yard and field ... very comfortable and well thought out ! Thank you Cheryl

ALL Airbnbs need to be like Hester House! Stocked bathroom, comfy bed, everything you could possibly want and need. You feel like you are out in the country, but there a Walmart a few miles away...can't beat that! You can feel the love in this house with all the finishes and little touches. We will be back very soon!

We cannot say enough nice things about this property! We stay at a lot of airbnb's throughout the year and all future airbnb's are going to have a mighty hard time stacking up to this one! It was immaculate; there were so many thoughtful touches. We had eggs and biscuits available to us. There was a huge selection of teas, toiletries, in case you forgot yours, and items in the pantry such a snacks and even things like a brownie mix, soups, chili, and seasonings. Most airbnb's are woefully lacking in the seasoning department. Throughout the house there were many thoughtful touches too numerous to name.

Worth the Drive. Cheryl's home is very clean, very well decorated (just like being home) and she added all the extras including every bathroom supply you can think of, snacks, water, Everything. All you need are your clothes. Exceptional.

Cheryl's place is great and well kept. We stayed there leading up to Christmas as the entire house was decorated for Christmas, which was a wonderful and welcome touch during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for lodging in the Madisonville/Monroe County, TN area.

Absolutely loved this place! Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Couldn’t get over all the cute farmhouse decorations and how clean it was. My yorkie had a blast getting to run around in the yard. We also loved getting to pet Shadow (super friendly). Can’t wait to be back in the summer! Cheryl is a great host. She called me as soon as we arrived and let us know she had gotten us snacks in the cabinet, waters, Lysol AND hand sanitizer (very hard to find right now).

First time staying at an Airbnb place and was great! Came to visit our son who lives in the area. Place was as described. Cheryl was a great host. We arrived late, at midnight, and the lights were on for us. The farm house decor was great. The snacks and bathroom toiletries was a great touch would stay here again and will recommend to family

Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and there were staples in the cabinet and fridge. Bathroom had all the extras you would ever need. Nice setting and the porches were lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hester house. It was nice to be met when we arrived by our host and showing around the place and told about local things to do and see and places to eat The house was just as described which was a very cute Charming home. The homeowners thought of your every need and had lots of amenities waiting for you to use. We found the home very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this place a anybody visiting the Madisonville area.

Traveler’s Nest is one of my favorite Airbnb’s to date. The location is perfect. Being able to park in the garage was a huge perk because it was cold out and it made it easier loading & unloading my things. I got in late, but Cilla left all of the lights on for me & even had a sweet treat waiting! Definitely will be staying here again.

Cilla and Mark’s place was TOP NOTCH. This was my first Airbnb experience and I truthfully don’t think I’ll be able to top this one. Cilla thought of everything from muffins, to water and snacks in the cabinet/fridge. The bed and pillows were so comfy, I slept like a baby each night. She had all the extras you needed, like towels, blankets, washrags, etc. I forgot my q-tips and she even had those. My favorite part of the stay was the garage entry. I was able to park in the garage, and Cilla had keys and a garage door opener on the counter when I arrived. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is clean, affordable, and has everything you need.. stay here! So worth it!

Traveler'sNest is a delightful place to stay! Cilla gave clear directions, was easily to contact, and made us feel welcome. The guest suite is private, clean, very tastefully decorated , and filled with thoughtful extra touches. We definitely want to stay there again, next time we are in the area.

Well this booking was made when a motel proved to be a dirty dive which we couldn't stay in. This was the total opposite. Lovely home with lovely people. Really enjoyed our 2 nights. Jo and Allen were good fun and a great help to us. In Yorkshire we have a saying, There is nowt wrong with the right folk. This definitely applied to Jo and Allen. Thank you.

Very quiet location, with cozy feeling

This site is the best for whitewater kayakers. Great rivers such as the Tellico, Ocoee, Little and more are within 90 minutes of the site. We could easily hang our equipment to dry and of course the house is super comfortable. A little gem in East Tennessee!

Very comfortable place.

We arrived at Barry’s with two 70 year old relatives. While everything was as Barry had described, our two older relatives did not like the beds or the stairs. So, we had to go find a hotel. Barry was a superhost, very understanding, and petitioned Airbnb to give us a 100% refund. I give Barry 6 stars!!

We loved staying at the cabin with our dog. The cabin was really nice and clean, and the hot tub was amazing after riding the motorcycle all day. The cabin is local to some great riding roads, like the Cherohala Skyway. We had a great time staying here and would definitely come back! Doug was a great host and very nice!

Very cozy cabin! My girl friend and I stayed with our two dogs and had a great time. The hot tub was nice to come home to after a day of hiking. We would suggest checking out the Cherokee National Forrest if you have some time for some great sight seeing and walking trails! P. S. There is a German Shepard that roams the area so be mindful of that if you plan on bringing pets. Seems well behaved and caused no problems, just spooked our two.

My husband and I came to tellico plains for a long weekend and LOVED IT! This cabin was perfect, quiet, and had everything we needed. One thing to note, that I didn’t realize but should have, is that the cabin is studio style. We didn’t mind but you might like to know. There weren’t drawers to put your clothes and I’m someone who typically likes to unpack. None of this impacted our stay but I would’ve liked knowing. Our dogs had a great time and we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful getaway in the Angler Cabin! The hot tub was ready for us and the bed was huge and comfy. Thanks for letting us bring the dogs! Would definitely recommend.

Omg this was the most amazing experience ever!!! Secluded, nice area, quiet and clean!!! That bed was sooo amazing I wanted to take it home!! The hot tub was easy to operate and clean!! The entire place was really nice! It was also nice to see the book with reviews bxc they also gave what place’s nearby to go to and their experiences as well. We will definitely go back!!! Thanks!!!

First time going away for Christmas and this couldn't have been better. Hot tub was up and running when we got there and they even had a small tree for the holidays which I thought was a nice touch. Keep up the great work!!

Lynn is an amazing host and the cottage is very nice place to stay with everything one would need and if not Lynn is just a call away. On this trip, my mom forgot butter for her oatmeal. Not a huge deal, but I texted Lynn and she brought some right to us. I would say this is a must stay your looking for a place in Tennessee

The Dragonfly Cottage is in a great spot, surrounded by awesome parks and great motorcycling roads. The cottage has pretty much everything you need for a great vacation! The wall hangings are all either motivational quotes/sayings or motorcycle related. Full size tub for soaking after spending all day on a bike! Thanks Lynn for making my great weekend motorcycle vacation possible!

Clean, clean, clean, and wonderfully decorated. JoAnn gives as much or as little attention as you require and the amenities are above average all around. Location is easy to get to and safe/secure.

JoAnn is a very relaxed and friendly host. She really loves the area and has good info about Tellico Village and the surrounding area. Her home is very quiet. It has a great porch and balcony for morning coffee!

When you arrive at JoAnn’s she’ll have a spot in her garage to park, coffee and baked items in the morning, and a clean and comfortable private room and bath.

This was my first AirBNB experience. I was a little apprehensive about staying in someone’s home. This is a GREAT set up! I had my own private space but in someone’s home! Jesse and Karen have thought of everything. If you forgot anything, they already thought of it. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with amenities and activities close by. They even give you a list of nearby things to do in case you don’t already know.

Jesse and Karen are such kind hosts, and very good at communicating. The room was beautiful - we all had a great sleep and really enjoyed the coffee in the morning. We wish we could have stayed longer! Great price too. Highly recommend!!

Great place!

Our stay was super amazing. We had everything we needed. Plus some😀. The kids were never board. This place was also very convenient located. I was only 3 minutes from family. I would definitely stay again next time I come.

Jennifer’s place was great!! The pool table and pop up basketball machine added the perfect touch to the place! All the furniture was super comfy and the place in general was cozy and warm! She gave great directions on how to locate the place and getting in was very easy to navigate! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The place was awesome. I admit I was hesitant to stay at an place that wasn’t an entire house to ourselves, but I quickly discovered that I had no reason for concern. This setup is like having the entire place but at a lower rate. There was a separate entrance and we never saw our host, but if we needed anything or had a question Jennifer was very quick to respond. The place was quite large and really clean. It had a full kitchen which would be great for longer stays. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and was very peaceful. I highly recommend staying here. Best Airbnb stay yet!

This is a great property! The location is great for hanging around and enjoying beautiful East Tennessee. The host family is amazing and the unit is above average for what you might expect. We had a great time and look forward to it again.

We had a wonderful time! The RV was very nice and the views were breathtaking! If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the place to go. Scott and Heather were wonderful hosts from the booking until the very end. We’ll be back for sure!

Upon arriving to this amazing cabin on March 13th the owners were cleaning the place from top to bottom due to the climate we are currently in. It made us feel at ease and safe. We arrived on a Friday and didn’t leave until Sunday morning at checkout. You have all the amenities that you need to cook meals, make a campfire, relax and enjoy each other’s company. We forgot peanut butter for our favorite recipe I was cooking and within a few short minutes we had that available from the hosts! I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away with my family and we are already talking about our next trip back. Amazing cabin, superb hosts and best views! HIGHLY recommend!

This cabin and it’s views are breath taking. It’s so private and peaceful. I absolutely enjoyed being there more than any place I’ve ever traveled. There’s so many places to rest and from each. Place you get a glimpse of nature. You have two full baths multiple places to sit in and outside. Amenities out the “wazoo” from a grill and fire pit outside to a fully stocked kitchen with appliances that are clean and utensils even roasting sticks for marshmallows which of course we had s’mores out by the fire oit one of the nights. My husband and I had our first no stress, completely refreshed and relaxed No arguing trip in 13years lol! We bonded in the beauty of all that nature. I plan on coming back and if you can make your way to Tallassee please stay with Jeanne she’s so nice, she responds quickly to every message and had everything ready for us. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with her rental like we did. Waking up looking down at the lake and breathing in fresh air was the best part of the Trip I hated anytime we left to go anywhere all I wanted was to get back to the porch swing and take in the view and surrounding. Dress warm in colder months (it’s colder up there lol duh) otherwise it was perfect besides I didn’t pack warmer jammies which was my fault of course. ... oh and bring your walking shoes the trails are full of sites as well! I can’t say enough Good things about my stay you have to see it for yourself.

Perfect getaway spot. The cabin was beautiful and clean with a splash of personality. The view was spectacular and the friendly hospitality from Jeanne and her husband was a wonderful bonus. Would highly recommend a stay in this cozy cabin. Can’t wait for my next excuse to stay here!!

Great hospitality and a beautiful stay

We stayed at Doug's place for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The hot tub was great and conveniently located right outside the door. Only (very) minor things would be that kitchen was missing a cutting board and you should bring seasonings other than salt and pepper and any butter/oil if you plan to cook. Only other nit-pick would be that posting does not display other cabins fairly close by, which again wasn't actually a problem for us, but fyi. We made a nice drive through the mountains along the Cherohala Skyway and made a stop at Bald River Falls, which was impressive to see. Overall the place was fantastic, no major complaints, would highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin, excellent price, gorgeous area, great host!

Soooo relaxing. We didnt want to leave! We loved sitting in the hot tub and just looking out back into the woods behind the house. We really enjoyed the open floor plan (so did the pups). Hiking in the area was more than we expected and quite gorgeous! We will definitely be back again, and again, and again!

Quaint and Cozy Cabin with plenty of space on the property to walk dogs. Clean sheets, hot tub, bathroom, and kitchen with plenty of space for a couple or small family vacation. It was fantastic! Would def recommend and revisit!

This beautiful cabin is perfect for a couple looking to relax in the mountains! We had an amazing stay, and Doug was a wonderful host!

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Cabin. The cabin is spacious and well equipped, with that authentic 'log cabin' feel. There was everything in the kitchen we needed for our short stay and everything was very clean and tidy. It was cosy despite some chilly nights and the bed was very comfortable. The Wifi was a little spotty but we got by ok. There are neighbours and the entrance road to the small community nearby so cars come and go sometimes, but we found that generally inside the cabin it was quiet and comfortable.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Susan's house. We were looking for a place where our elderly dog would be welcome and I was surprised there were not many places in the area where it was not an issue. We discovered that Tellico area has many beautiful walks, we recommend East Lakeshore Trail if you have a dog and/or enjoy walking. We were also pleasantly surprised at how spacious the suite was and loved the cookies and the view. Susan was also gracious enough to stay up late until we came - even though I hope most guests arrive at more regular hours! We highly recommend Susan's place, there were more things to enjoy but we would need a longer stay for them to happen.

A great a great location with a wonderful host. The suite was cozy, welcoming and very clean, with a lot of nice little touches (my family and I had fun playing darts!).

Great location for UT football game. Easy access to I75 south of Knoxville. Nice neighborhood with Susan's Blue Heron restaurant recommendation. A very nice experience. Recommended.

This Cabin is beautiful. Everything on the descriptions are accurate, every little touch of details on the cabin makes it so much more memorable. Very family oriented, kitchen appliances that we needed are all available to use. It’s very Family oriented and the drive way is not a bad thing it’s actually an adventure every time we go up. :) I will stay again and recommend for anyone who is looking for a beautiful cabin. I like that it’s pretty much in the Smokey’s without all the traffic and tourist.

Great place!

The Deer cabin was a great place for my wife and I to get away. We loved the location, the space and hot tub. Comfortable and quiet. It was a rainy weekend so we tried to stream some movies. The wifi was a bit of a strain but we survived. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

If you are looking for a restful stay with all the amenities you could hope for, Jo and Allen's place is definitely your home away from home! I cannot even begin to express what wonderful people they are and how welcome they made my son and I feel. Plus, we had our dog Zoey with us and she made a new best friend with their dog Mo. They treated Zoey as one of their own by giving her treats, providing her with extra attention and even letting her run around outdoors with Mo. Their place is beautiful, sparkling clean, and the bed is so comfortable that I did not want to get up. For breakfast, they presented coffee, snacks, and amazing banana nut bread. Jo provided detailed information about the surrounding area and a map of fantastic hiking and swimming spots. I really enjoyed talking with them both. I highly recommend their place (obviously) and will be staying with them again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in a quiet, beautiful location near Great Smokies NP & all the fun motorcycle routes. We didn't feel like we were interlopers in their space - watching US Open tennis on their living room TV & having free rein in their kitchen were especially nice, with Jo's cookies & banana nut bread as lovely surprises. The house was very clean, beautifully maintained, & decorated in a fun & classy way. The front porch with chairs & porch swing was a favorite spot for us, & their poodle Mo was a quiet teddy bear. Jo & Allen had plenty of snacks, food, & maps for us as well as excellent tips on where to go. We enjoyed talking with them but also appreciated time 'apart' while sharing their home. We highly recommend staying with them!

MUCH better than expected. Check-in was super easy. Outstanding hospitality, amazing amenities, quick responses, thoughtful touches, stylish space, sparkling clean, accuracy, and an INCREDIBLE value!!! LOTS of local tips. We've stayed w/these folks before, and we'll stay with them again. 

Very nice hosts and a very comfortable bed. The snacks and banana bread were a very thoughtful touch.

Amazing stay! I usually don’t do shared rooms but Jo & Allen’s reviews spoke for themselves. The place was extremely clean; like REALLY CLEAN. The hosts are very friendly and informative, but are happy to leave you to your own means when you need some down time. All the amenities you could ask for and more. Jo & Allen went out of their way to make my stay excellent. Highly recommend. Also, Mo is a super cool dog that doesn’t shed and doesn’t jump on you. So if the dog makes you hesitate at all, don’t let it. You won’t even know he’s there. Easy check in / check out with personal code; so easy. If you’re a car person or music fan, get ready for some amazing memorabilia and stories that were very welcomed. Thanks guys! Hopefully cross paths again.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view from the hot tub of the sunset over the mountains. We had no issues with the place. We did text a few times with general communications or questions and Doug was very quick to reply.

We had such a wonderful stay in this cabin! It’s called “the view” for a reason, it’s on the very top of a mountain and the back porch is gives you an insane view of the valley and Tellico Plains! The hot tub was perfect for sunsets and star gazing. The inside of the cabin is as gorgeous as the view outside and had everything we could ever need. It was clean and very well taken care of. Would love to visit again, I highly recommend staying here!

If you are looking for a clean, cozy, well-appointed and welcoming space to stay near Knoxville, Mary-Anne's place is EXCEPTIONAL. We have stayed in several AirBNB homes and enjoyed them all immensely, but this was the best by far! Immaculate, well furnished and welcoming space with all the amenities you could possibly need PLUS a great hostess that is very responsive, helpful and her hospitality is just wonderful. We will definitely be back and suggest you do yourself a favor and check it out as well!

This private one bedroom was perfect for my temporary housing needs, when i moved to the area for a new job. Everything i needed was thoughtful provided. The hosts checked in with me multiple times during my stay to ensure all my needs were being taken care of. It is located in a beautiful country setting. A great place to get away and relax.

We really enjoyed the peace and quietness of the property. The location is perfect, close to towns and the interstate, but yet very peaceful area. The property is very clean. This is a fantastic place to stay! The house is clean and has everything you need! The fenced yard was perfect for our two chocolate labs. Tawanna and her husband are very nice and I loved having the horses in the pasture right beside/behind us! I highly recommend this place.

This farmhouse is gorgeous. The owner had many things prepared for us to stay. It felt really homey. The house is in a quiet area. The owner is amazing. She comes by and shows you how to use a few things and makes sure that everything is okay. Everything was super clean. There were a lot of amenities that added to our stay. The owner was so nice, she showed us around the farm that she runs. Beautiful farm. Make sure you confirm and ask the owners if they can show you. I really recommend this area as a place to stay. It is a perfect little home.

Tawanna and her husband Mike have a beautiful farm with amazing, friendly fur babies. Cows, goats, chickens, pigs, dogs and horses. You have an entire 1 floor house with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It has everything you would need for your stay. Tawanna left fresh eggs for us which were delicious. It is conveniently located near major areas, such as Knoxville, pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, and the great Smokey mountains. You feel like your in the country but your close to everything you would need, shopping and restaurants . I definitely plan on returning.
