Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles. La maison est propre et bien équipée. Elle est située dans un endroit très calme et facile d'accès. Le cadre est magnifique: la grande porte fenêtre donne sur le lac (auquel on peut accéder facilement pour se baigner) et les montagnes. Un seul regret: ne pas être restés plus longtemps! ;-)

We stayed for 2 days at this gorgeous villa to do a professional photoshoot around the house. The house itself, the location, and the view from the house is simply breathtaking. Everything was just as described. Lynda was fantastic in communicating and making sure we have everything we need, before, during and after our stay. We would love to come back and can recommend this place for everyone who is looking for a beautiful get away or a nice setting for a photo shooting as we did.

Lynda's place in the tiny picturesque village of Morcote is simply beautiful. The website pictures and descriptions are accurate but the physical place is even better. Perched up on a hill the view is amazing. The living space and kitchen is well decorated and equipped. The master bedroom is great and has a master bath with a tub with superb views. Downstairs there is a children's bedroom with attached bath and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. They are all well appointed. There is a large family room with a sofa bed also. Can't wait to go back there!!

We had a wonderful time at the River house in Vico Morcote! The house is very cosy with a great design inside. It was very comfortable for our big family. There are many shops and curious places to discover. The house is located not far from the border with Italy, so we were lucky to visit Milano, Verona, Brescia and Bergamo. I was not met by the host but by her colleague who was delightful and very helpful. The house is amazing . Better than described. The views are breathtaking A brilliant place to chill or to explore the beautiful countryside. Even walking around the near by village is nice. I can't recommend it more highly.

My friends and I stayed here for two nights. The house is great and offers a stunning view onto the lake and the mountains. We were five people and had plenty of space. Lynda's colleague welcomed us and showed us around the house. She was extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend the house and would come back anytime.

First of all Milena responded in record time to my enquiry. She was very kind and we felt welcome even before we started our journey. The place as such was unusual, but beautiful. We received a text message one day before our arrival and were in contact all the time. The private parking right in front of the house was a great plus since parking space is rather limited in that area. Thank you once again for the pleasant stay!

Milena is a good host and the location in good. But somehow the listing was not appropriate for me and my family. This room is not private, its should be shared accommodation category. The glass dome is not covered completely and there is the sliding door which cannot be locked so there is no privacy at all for a family. Its just 4 km away from Railway station but there is no transportation (buses run only once per hour) - so this room suites only for people coming by car. No Wifi facility in the room, if required we need to go across the road and access it from Milena's private home.

This place is very magical. The apartment consists of huge room , kitchen and bathroom and a nice terrace overlooking lake. It provides you with privacy and plenty of space. The room has really magical atmosphere ….really relaxing. Definitely we will be back :) Thanks Milena!

This accommodation is actually a huge hall used by Milena for her yoga sessions and much more. And in summer, it's free for rent, so we were pleased to enjoy its huge space. Mainly our daughter enjoyed the huge space she was allowed to run around. It has a lake view and from the top floor, which is actually a roof of the hall we were sleeping in and allows outdoor sitting, the views are even more spectacular. The location is a quiet one, a bit distant from both villages (Melide and Morcote), there's a bus stop right in front, but there's just one bus an hour, so it's convenient to have a car. We were allowed to use Milena's private parking right in front of the house. To have a swim, Milena has offered us to use her private garden in the house down by the lake, just across the street. Milena was an excellent host, we felt like at home. She has offered us all possible support, advice and recommendations. We have very much enjoyed our short stay.

We enjoyed saying in Milenas studio for two nights. This is a special place and very well suited for families with kids since it is spacious. The rooms are tidy, clean and the kitchen fully equipped. Super extra plus for the access to roof terrasses and to Lago di Lugano by Milenas private garden to go for a swim. The studio is located with easy access to all the sights around Lugano and Milena was very helpful in providing us with tips on where to go. Check in and out was very efficient. We highly recommend this place and Milena as a host. Thank you!

This is a fantastic location and fascinating, several hundred year old house on hillside cliffs. Will come back again and spend several days here. Paolo and Yoko are extremely friendly, polite, professional hosts. Recommend this place highly!

High marks for this one! Beautiful setting, two large private rooms, very clean, lovely family, charming garden in back with a lake view, delicious traditional Japanese dinner and a wonderful experience overall. We will be back! The one thing visitors should know is that there are many steps up to the house and the parking was a distance away. It was not a problem for us at all - we enjoyed the walking but didn't realize it before we got there so mention it so others know what to expect. Thank you, Yoko & Paolo!!

Yoko and Paulo were very friendly and helpful, and the house is quite marvelous, filled with decorations of many themes, making our stay in Morcote even more interesting. There is also a garden with a litte terrace, and half a score of bonzai trees, where you can have breakfast or dinner if the weather allows it.

Paolo and Yoko are really great hosts, they are attentionned and completely available!! Our best Airbnb so far! There home is very cute and very good located.

Paolo and Yoko were by far the most accommodating hosts we have yet to have. Yoko helped us with the parking while arriving which was wonderful. In addition she cooked us a delicious dinner and even helped us with our laundry. The house is beautiful and our area upstairs was large and comfortable. They were very respectful of our privacy, but we enjoyed their company so much we ended up spending the evening visiting with them. This truly felt like a home away from home which is hard to find. Our only regret was not staying longer. Unbelievably gorgeous place with even better company.

We stayed for 2 nights. Upon arrival Yoko was very helpful in parking and finding the entrance to their beautiful home. The house is amazing and has tons of character! There are many flights of stairs, so maybe not the best location if you have mobility difficulties. However, if you don't mind it, the house is stunning and has beautiful views. The garden has a great view of the lake. We had a private living room and bedroom. Everything was very clean. Yoko and Paolo provided tons of great recommendations and were incredibly accommodating. Yoko provided us with a lovely breakfast both mornings. Overall the experience was great and we would love to go back!

We stayed at Sadi's apartment with our 4.5 year old daughter and a small puppy. Apartment is lovely and you feel right at home as soon as you enter from main door...warm welcoming colors, cool flooring, excellent views. Apartment is well located in center of Morcote and one can use bus or boat or car to easily access Lugano and make over to Italian side. We will definitely stay there again for our next visit...

Sadi ist sehr freundlich, sehr zuvorkommen, hat auf uns gewartet und seine Wohnung ist wunderbar! Wir fühlten uns ein wenig zuhause. Danke!

Wir können diese wunderbar gelegene Wohnung nur empfehlen. Als Familie mit 2 Kids hat man hier genug Platz. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das sehr alte Haus ist liebevoll restauriert worden. So darf (und soll) es natürlich auch sein, dass sich nicht alle Zimmertüren schliessen lassen können. Wunderbar der Blick aus allen Fenstern! Der Lago auf der einen Seite, die beleuchtete Maria del Sasso auf der anderen! Einfach nur Wow! Ab Frühling 17 gibt's vermutlich noch eine Wohnung im Hause, dann mit Gartenzugang. (Die Bilder davon stimmen wirklich). Gleich nebenan steht der Parco Scherrer, unbedingt auch anschauen... Noch ein Tip: Stündlich fährt ein Postauto (Haltestelle 40m vom Haus entfernt) nach Lugano Paradiso. Von dort geht's auf den San Salvatore mit der Bahn. Der anschliessende abfallende Wanderweg via Carona und der Alpe Vicania endet schliesslich direkt vor der Haustüre! Wir haben uns einen Spass daraus gemacht, die Treppenstufen ab der Alpe bis zur Haustüre zu zählen. Es sind genau 1349:). Die krönende Gelati geniesst man direkt neben dem Hauseingang. Wir sind also begeistert gewesen... Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Einziges Minus ist die Parkplatzsituation. Es steht keiner zur Verfügung. Über Nacht (22:00bis 07:00) kann aber, wenn ein Platz frei ist kostenlos parkiert werden . Wir haben so jeweils ein paar Franken in die Uhr geschmissen, dann war das Problem bis um 10:00 gelöst:) Ansonsten kann beim Vermieter eine Garagenkarte gelöst werden für 20Franken im Tag. Dieses lohnt sich für längere Parkzeiten! Also, abschliessend können wir nur sagen: Für uns war der richtige Platz im schönen Morcote genau HIER! Danke Euch nochmals ! Grüsse!

This is a very beautiful property with direct access to the Lago di Lugano. The apartment itself is truly tiny (and you have to be careful not to bang your head sometimes), but it's very practical and well-kept with all the necessary amenities: a small kitchen, a small double bed, a small bath room. What really makes this place so amazing and special is the direct access to the lake. You can either sit on the terrace and have breakfast or you can sit in the garden or even jump into the lake. This is a perfect accommodation during summer or on warm days in spring and autumn (I wouldn't necessarily recommend it during winter though). Nico is a very friendly host, he welcomed us on the evening of our arrival and gave us all the necessary information - and when a question popped up, he always answered quickly. We'd definitely go back, it's a unique place.

We had a relaxed stay at this place. Nico was very flexible and friendly. The garden is very nice and the access to the lake is perfect. In the small apartment is everything you need. The only thing we can complain about is, that on warm days it was really hot in the apartment. Morcote is a nice little village with different possibilities to eat.

Nico's place directly at the shore of Lago di Lugano for real feels like paradise. Just step out of the door passing the banana trees in the little garden and step right into the water for a refreshing swim. Everything was exactly as described and Nico was very helpful in welcoming us and showing us around his beautiful place. A little gem we would definitely return to when getting the chance. Highly recommended!

WOW!!! This place was great! My wife and I have been traveling via AirBnB for two months and this was one of the best places if not the best. The location is not in Lugano but in a high-end suburb with very expensive hotels, houses and cars driving the waterfront. It is difficult getting into down town as the buses don't run on some weekends. Milena was one of the best hosts we have had our entire trip. The room was spacious and comfortable. You walk up a very old staircase to the top floor and are struck by an incredible view of the lakes and mountain! The kitchen is small but there is so much open living space you don’t seem to notice. Milena lives across the street and two other live in the same house as you, but you will never see them as the house is HUGE. My wife and I completely enjoyed coffee every morning while looking at the lake and mountains. We also enjoyed a wonderful walk to the historic town down the street and there are great hikes right around the corner.

La permanenza sul lago è stata molto di nostro gradimento, Milena e Max sono molto gentili e disponibili. Tutti i nostri risvegli con lo sfondo del lago al primo mattino non appena aprivamo il balconcino erano incantevoli.. Speriamo anche noi di essere stati degli ospiti molto gentili ed educati. A presto, un forte abbraccio.

Milena è stata una host davbero gentile e disponibile. Molto elastica per quanto riguarda il check-in e il check-out. Alloggio un pò particolare che si sviluppa su due piani di una bellissima casa d'epoca anche se i locali non sono distribuiti in modo propriamente comodo, comunque ci si può adattare tranquillamente per qualche giorno. Grazie dell'ospitalità.

Irgendwie bleibt die Zeit stehen, wenn ich, wir, mal wieder bei Milena und Max sind. Das freundliche alte Haus wirkt vertraut und doch erneuert, so wie Milena und Max bekannt und in ihrer menschlichen Wärme wieder neu erscheinen. Als ihre Gäste fühlten wir uns frei und doch liebevoll umsorgt. Am Morgen, wenn die Natur erwacht, schaue ich gern durch das Fenster mit dieser wunderbaren Aussicht über den See und genieße das "Fernsehen". Wir empfehlen "Casa Poma" (der alte Name des Hauses) gern weiter. Bis bald mal wieder!

Absolutely worth to visit. What a place to spend your time.

Every thing was good except the pool. It was really dirty at our arrival. we have contacted the agency many times during our stay but they didn't fix anything. they just added some cloor to the pool and they didn't even change the water. Another thing, we found a complete guest guide but it was totally in german, I wish that the villa owner will provide something in english also.

This house has an amazing view looking out onto Italy. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Morcote - which is just beautiful. Lugano is a short drive away. It is absolutely amazing. The view is just breathtaking at all times of day. Enjoyed the view whilst the kids and dog played outside. House is perfect size for a family of 5. The house was clean and everything was available for us. The management was very efficient as we had all the details well before we arrived. We hope to return when it is warmer to get more use out of pool.

Das Haus ist absolut fantastisch und genau so, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Da ist nichts gemogelt. Ein wunderbarer Garten mit schönem Pool und einer atemberaubenden Aussicht! Totale Privatsphäre ist gewährleistet und das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Der Urlaub hat uns wahnsinnig gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Bei der Buchungsdauer gab es ein Problemchen Seitens Agentur. Aber Probleme sind zum Lösen da und das haben die tiptop gemacht. Christian (Manager vor Ort) ist sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Top Aussicht bedeutet natürlich, dass man am Hang wohnend immer einige Treppen steigen muss. Aber das sollte kein Problem sein, wenn man dafür eine solche Aussicht bekommt. Alles in allem also eine absolut positive Erfahrung und wir bedanken uns sehr beim Gastgeber!
