This ancient house is surrounded by its park, where you can relax on comfortable deck chairs and sun loungers. Flowers, olives threes, cheries threes, two gazebos, the first is close to a large covered barbecue - under a lauren three that shades a relaxing rocking chair , the second one is covering a large wooden table to delight (URL HIDDEN) the surrounding green and the blue sky .... . Since the garden is at two levels, connected by a characteristic large stone staircase, is easily accessible from both the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor the large basement, which can easily accommodate 14 people for lunch, includes the ground floor of the tower used as a kitchen ... On the first floor, the characteristic space of the round tower is used as a sitting room with a comfortable circular sofa (TV is in front) which borders - open spacing - a large two levels living room divided from the fisrt floor kitchen by a large marble worktop .... Two bedrooms - each with its bathroom . are located on the first floor, remaining bedrooms are at top floor .... The roof of the tower is a large round terrace relevant to the suite, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley (one of the things wich may even improve that feeling is testing a good glass of local wine while sitting there at the round iron table, looking at the vineyards - from where the wine is coming from - that are in front of the tower - on the side of the valley ... To better say where Velva is, let's start from the region ..... Liguria is a special region in north Italy, where it may even happen that you swim in the sea having the snow on the mountains in your eyes or ski facing the sea down in front of you. Liguria shape is formed by a thin and long arc of mountains (Appenino, up over 2000’ mts) falling deep to the sea, while broken by green valleys. Giorgio greeted us with a smile, wine, olive oil and good food. So began our beautiful holiday. Ligurie visited three families (12 people) but the house would be too good for more. Beautiful and spacious house on top of a mountain with stunning views of the wide valley. The sea is close but you can also feel the silence of the mountains. A few minutes walk from the house small picturesque historic town of Velva. Comfortable berth for early trips to the 5-Tera, Lerici, Portovenere, Portofino. And as we do not want to travel far too close to the beaches of Sestri Levante. We spent a wonderful time with their families thanks to the care and warmth Gorgio, tips were very helpful to organize many beautiful trip. Thank you and happy to return to this place.

We had a large company of 18 people. 5 adult couples and 8 children, including 3 babies under 1 year. Settling passed just great! Get on the navigator to the place was easy. The house is located at an altitude of ~ 420 m above sea level, 10 km from the coast in the mountains of Liguria. The nearest large resort town - Sestri Levante. Convenient parking for 4 large cars (5 or smaller). Giorgio showed himself very gracious host, prepared the cots and high chairs for babies, in detail showed the house, all told, we have prepared a very pleasant surprise - the local wine, sausages, fruits, bread !!! All was very tasty !!! Housed without problems - at our disposal proved to be a huge house with three floors, two large kitchens, seven bedrooms, large living-dining room and a real wood-burning hearth, adjoining children playground. The house is equipped very well, it is clear that a lot of love. At 100 meters from the house - a real medieval town in not changed appearance. We went to wander through its streets day and night (especially advise those who want thrills ). The house is quite conveniently located for visiting the cities of Liguria - Sestri Levante, Rapallo, Portofino, and the famous Chinque Terre! On the advice of Giorgio we move between them on the train, leaving the car in the free parking in Sestri Levante at the station. Summary: We got what we wanted and so much more: a unique location, comfort, solitude, indescribable beauty around, crystal clear mountain air. For all this we want to say Grazie mille, Giorgio!!! This is the place where we want to go back!!! No doubt, this trip will be remembered for all of us for life.

Giorgio is a really lovely, generous host. We arrived in the evening and were greeted with an amazing selection of home-grown produce and a bottle of local wine, just the perfect way to start a holiday in Italy. Giorgio's villa is lovingly furnished with everything you need for a long stay - well equipped kitchen, lots of indoor and outdoor furniture, and it was all extremely clean and well looked after. The view from the villa is stunning - each morning we awoke to the sunrise over the valley. I took my bike and did some great rides in the hills, exploring the neighbouring villages. Giorgio was a great resource for local restaurant recommendations and advice on where to go for walks. We spent a fantastic week in the villa. It was a working holiday so we didn't venture too far, but on the last day we did a trip out to Cinque Terre which is very close by. My only reservation is that the local village (Velva) is mostly deserted - would have been nice to be able to have a bit more of an active town within close walking distance. As it was we ended up using the rental car a lot to drive to nearby restaurants. But the house itself (and Giorgio as host) was really just perfect.

Начну с того, что мы ожидали от этой поездки довольно многого, но то что ожидания и впечатления оказались гораздо больше желаемого, это весьма слабо сказано! Собрались большим составом - 4 семьи, 5 детей. Выбрать подходящий дом, чтобы каждая семья имела свою ванную и как можно больше уединения весьма непросто. Нашли около 10 вариантов по всей Италии. Этот дом был изначально в числе фаворитов, и тут хозяин показал себя блестящим организатором! Джорджио с самого начала приложил все усилия, чтобы мы остановили выбор на его доме. В первую очередь снял все сомнения по поводу размещения 13 человек. Учел все моменты с детскими и взрослыми кроватями. Затем, ответил на множество вопросов по поводу дома и окрестностей, договорился с местными мясниками, виноделами и хозяином рыбного склада, ресторана и пиццерии. Это не шутка! Более того, смастерил электрический вертел для запекания свиной ноги на гриле по нашей просьбе, т.к. дело было в канун Нового года и нам очень хотелось сделать окорок на углях. Всего около 20 дополнительных уточнений. Отличная подготовка. По прилёту в Италию проложил очень подробный маршрут от аэропорта Бергамо до дома и вёл нас как высококлассный штурман! С тех пор я понял одно - избегай бесплатных дорог, только автострады! И вот, наконец, прибыли на место. Парковка, кстати, на 6 авто. То что мы увидели в доме, было как выстрел в голову. Дом украшен гирляндами, поздравительными транспарантами, свечами, наряжена елка, во всю пылает камин и на столе гостинцы от хозяина. Ребята, он знает как встречать гостей. Я как будто приехал в гости к родственникам. Браво! Сам дом после изучения оказался очень большим. У нас ещё осталось 2 не занятых спальни. В принципе, для 5 семей он, я думаю, подойдёт, если совместить пользование одной из ванных. Более того, нижний этаж имеет свою собственную кухню, итого их в доме 2, если не считать мангал. Общее пространство комфортно вмещало 13 человек одновременно, более того, мы были зимой, и практически не использовали балконы и столы во дворе. Да и дети были в доме, хотя есть детская площадка. Отдельно хочу сказать про барбекю во дворе. Это отдельная мини кухня, с водой и всеми удобствами для приготовления любого объёма пищи на мангале. По вечерам, мы с друзьями провели там немало отличных часов готовя мясо и рыбу, вооружившись бочонком местного отличного вина :) В общем, все мои друзья, люди довольно разборчивые и немало повидавшие, остались в восторге. Фраза - Я бы хотел себе такой дом - была довольно популярной. Хозяин и в период нашего проживания всегда был рядом (он живет поблизости), но ни в коем случае не вторгался в нашу атмосферу праздника. По нашей просьбе отвез нас к виноделам, к мяснику, показал отличный выезд к морю и аутлету поблизости. В общем, если вы хотите ощутить сельскую Италию с извилистыми дорогами, отличными видами, облаками сидящими на соседнем холме - лучше места не сыскать. Тем более, 15 минут на машине - и вы на пляже! Charming Stone-House, two floors, 165 m2, nature surrounded. Wonderful ground terace looking at the Sea. Located in Framura, near to Portofino and Cinque Terre. Breathtaking views of the coast and the sea. 10 minute e far from beaches.

Stone House is immersed in the forest, the feeling of peace and serenity is unique. Only 10 minutes by car from the beaches. The light colors and open spaces within the house to allow sunlight to diffuse freely Walking on the large terrace of grass in front of the house you can scents of the Mediterranean vegetation and be immersed in the light and colors of the Mediterranean sea. The house which is high on the sea has always an optimal temperature. The thick stone walls provide a natural cool along with the vegetation that protects from the sun on hot days. Ten minutes away is the charming village of Setta. Here you will find a nice aperitif bar, a pizzeria, a grocery and gastronomy shop. The Framura railway station, 15 minutes away from the house, allows you to easily visit the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Bonassola and others enchanting villages.

There is still an authentic angle of Liguria right on the water. It's Framura, not far from the Cinque Terre. Here he does not pass the coast with its river of cars. Nice stone house located in a wild and open park, we even had the chance of seeing a pack of 3 small wild boars and a sort of squirrel feeding from the surrounding trees. Location is lovely at nights and cool, whilst house maintains a constant temperature even during hot days. Michele provided us plenty of informations,before and after arriving, in regards to the area, restaurants and beaches. We had a good and enjoyable experience whilst staying here.

Michele est un hôte correct mais l'équipement de sa maison laisse un peu à désirer au point de vue couchages et équipements de la cuisine.

The villa is surrounded by eight hectares olive grove, completely fenced. On each floor are two double rooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, which allows two families of four to live together in perfect privacy. It is fantastic to relax around the pool or on the deck after a days excursion in the near by "Cinque Terre", whilst barbecuing or playing ping pong. The village is only a 15 minutes walk away down the hill, a little more up the hill!! Should you prefer to use the car, there is a garage at your disposal in the village.

The name of "Moneglia" has its origin in latin and means "jewel". The small village lies embedded in the middle of a splendid bay. The area is very safe, tranquil and mostly pedestrian: very suitable for children. It has two beaches, one open to the sea and the other protected by a breakwater . Enjoy relaxing on the beach, explore the wild coast by boat or discover the nearby village by scooter: Deiva offers a riding school and Sestri Levante the possibility of a days sail in the bay. Umbrellas and deckchairs, boats and scooters are available for rent. Moneglia is part of the "Cinque Terre" nature reserve and gives you a big choiche of walking paths to explore the suggestive hills which surround the villa. Scuba divers fans can find a very efficient dive centre.

This is a wonderful house and Andrea is a warm, generous and welcoming host. The house is a little tricky to find at first, but Andrea met us in the village and escorted us up. He also kindly presented us with a large box of fresh fruit from the market. The house is even nicer than the photos show. It is spacious, stylish, modern and comfortable. The view is absolutely magical at all times of day and night. It is in a quiet neighbourhood about 10 minutes up the hill from Moneglia so it is both secluded and private, as well as convenient. It's also very convenient for visiting the Cinque Terre (by train and/or boat). But once you're settled in the house you won't really want to go anywhere! It's just a lovely place to be. We definitely plan to visit again!

Absolutely fantasic villa, the photos do not do it justice. Incredible view to wake up to, with a large decking area that gets plenty of sun and shade. Villa is set in an olive grove surrounded by woodland on the hillside overlooking the town. Walk to town is about 25 minutes and myble a bit longer up the hill back (which is quite steep). Plenty of space to park cars at the villa and from the town you can get to Portofino and the Cinque Terra easily on the train. We had a lovely stay and Andrea was a true gentleman, and made us feel very welcome. Would definately return, was just fantastic.

Andrea is a very kind and charming host always at your service as you need him. The house provides enough space and comfort for two families with children. The location in the olive plantation and the great setup of the terrace, grilling place and the pool among the trees and with amazing views make this place truly unique. Excellently maintained garden and kind presents of the host like fresh fruits and vegetables as well as some essential fresh spicing herbs contributed in our case to enjoy a fantastic local culinary experience. We spend a week in the villa and it was absolut fantastic. The view is magnificent and the garden is amazing. Andrea made us feel home from the beginning, allowing us to use fresh herbs and lemons from the garden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und persönlich von Andreas Sohn und dessen Freundin willkommen geheissen und sogar am Bahnhof abgeholt ( wir reisten mit dem Zug an). Im Haus angekommen stand ein Korb mit regionalen Produkten als Willkommenszeichen für uns bereit und es wurde uns alles vor Ort gut erklärt. Das Haus und der Garten mit dem Pool wiesen einen tadellosen Standart auf. Der grosse Garten mit den vielen Oliven- und Citrusbäumen war sehr schön und gepflegt . Der Salat, die Tomaten und die Kräuter konnten wir direkt zum Essen verwenden. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt. Die angrenzende Umgebung war ruhig und freundlich. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Zimmer grosszügig gehalten. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter bietet das Haus genügend Platz für unterschiedliche Tätigkeiten. Die stilvolle offene Küche war perfekt eingerichtet und liess keine Wünsche offen. Der Aussenbereich war sehr angenehm und praktisch bestückt. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und auf Moneglia ist einfach grandios. Man möchte einfach nur beim Hause verweilen und diese Ruhe und Weitsicht geniessen. Der Tischfussballkasten und der Tischtennistisch war für uns alle eine wertvolle Bereicherung. Wir wurden bei der Abreise persönlich von Andrea verabschiedet und wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen in diesem kleinen Paradies wieder einmal Ferien zu verbringen. Die Begegnung mit dem Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und rundete unseren Aufenthalt perfekt ab.

We had a great time exploring cinque Terre from our home base in Levanto. In fact, it was the perfect place to stay to beat then Aigust crowds in the other 5 towns, but close enough to get to hen easily. Guiseppe and his brother were super helpful and responsive. When we arrived there was no fan in the room. We messaged Guiseppe and by the time we got back from dinner, there was a fan waiting outside our door. Very sweet family and sweet town. Must try Gattafin- a local pastry with cheese and spinach?? There's a great bakery down the road called Panificio Raso di Carbone Mattia has them and other yummies. Also, Pesto!!! All over the place!

Giuseppe's apartment was clean and private and in the best location to enjoy Levanto and the Cinque Terre. I was happy to have a little kitchen with a fridge, to keep fruit etc. so I could pack my snacks for hiking. It's a few feet away from a cafe with delicious espresso and a few blocks to the beach. Although I only met Giuseppe briefly he was very welcoming and so kind! Thanks for a great visit, I hope to return !

Giuseppe was a great host. He was really easy to communicate with, answering our questions very quickly. The studio is small but very cozy and clean. The location of the studio is great! Levanto is a lovely town, with a lot less tourists than the Cinque Terre towns. It is also very easy to travel into the Cinque Terre towns. Would recommend!

This room is in a great location. Only a 10-15 min walk from the train station (don't follow (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)'s directions. Walk down Corso Roma and take a left on Villa Della Rimembranza). Very close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately the bed is two single beds pushed together but was comfortable enough. There is a spacious wardrobe closet to hang your clothes.

Perfect location- very close to the sea, in the centre of Levanto, with many restaurants and shops around. Fijn verblijf gehad in deze woning. De foto's geven een realistische weergave van de vakantiewoning. De woning is gezellig en met smaak ingericht. Het zwembad is voor algemeen gebruik maar nooit heel druk bezocht. De locatie is heel mooi, omgeven door natuur. Er is een prachtig uitzicht. Het enige nadeel van de locatie is dat je niet even naar de winkel loopt maar toch de auto moet nemen naar het centrum van het dorp.

A short drive away is the underlying fishing village of Cavi, where there are shops, excellent fresh seafood restaurants and a beautiful beach (public and private). Our accommodation is located in a tranquil setting from which you can take a walk with breathtaking views of sea and mountains.

The house is on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the view is incredible. Getting to the house will test all your Italian driving skills; the road / path is steep, narrow, complete with hair-pin turns. The room is located in Arianna's grandparents house. The house is spotless and perfect. But you do feel that you're staying at "your" grandparents; with unwritten rules. They only speak Italian so there was a language barrier; but between sms messages to Arianna and hand gestures we were able to communicate and her grandparents were the perfect hosts!! We booked the space to serve as a central hub to explore the area. There are no shops / restaurants near-by; so a car is a requirement. After experiencing the drive-up the first day, we were a bit reluctant to drive the car again. There is a steep pathway down to the main street below; but the climbing it up was difficult; especially at night. The climb did burn all the ice cream we ate. The following days we used the car and the drive up got easier (hint : drive down Via della Puneta and then approach the drive-way; drive up to the T-intersection then back into the garage) Overall, we enjoyed are stay at Arianna's grandparents house and thank them for welcoming us into their home.

Wonderful place to stay. The view is stunning and the house is cozy and clean. I would suggest only coming here via car as your a 10 min drive away from Sestri Levante which was perfect for us as we were traveling by car and then wanted to take the train to tour the Cinque Terra. Ariana's grandparents are wonderful but only speak Italian, yay for (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translate!

The place was perfect. You can take the train really easily to go and visit the 5 terres, Portofino and Santa Marguerita ligure. We loved having our breakfast on the terrasse facing the sea. Arianna was a lovely host, incredibly good at communicating and really helpful. She recommended some fantastic places to visit in the local area and was happy to answer any questions we had; she even sent pics of her place so we would be able to find it more easily. The room is actually in her grandparents house, who were so lovely! Her place has the most beautiful view and a terrace that we had access to as well. One thing to note is that the house is up an incredibly steep hill, we weren't sure our little hire car was going to make it up for a moment on the way up! However, once we got the knack of it, it was absolutely fine :)

Both bedrooms have window mosquito nets and fans. The kitchen is equipped with two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, ceiling fan, waste bin for recycling (mandatory) One bathroom with bathtub, the other with shower. Washing machine, iron and ironing board. Car box attached to the house and two outdoor parking spaces. Car box on the Bonassola waterfront, large enough to accommodate bicycles, deckchairs, umbrellas and even a scooter.

A very comfortable accommodation. The house, just off the center of the village (Serra district), enjoys the privacy of a large garden with olive and lemon trees. In addition, an immense terrace with sea view. All this is a ten minute walk from the beach where in the vicinity we provide our guests a box that will avoid difficulties in finding the parking and the related costs.

On foot you can reach Bonassola's center in about ten minutes by passing a mule track that crosses the hamlet of Serra and the Castle built in 1561 to protect the countries from the Saracen invasions.

Great location up on top of the hill. Parking on site and also a carpark down at the beach...fantastic for catching the train to the cinque terre. Valerio the manager was very helpful and reachable.

Built in 1939 by a grandparent with 6 children, from three generations past, today buen withdrawal of an innovation manager, passionate about technology and genius loci, moving between Liguria and Silicon Valley. The silence of 'August as in December, 40-minute drive from Portovenere, Lerici, Cinque Terre, Tigullio. Five sleeping rooms, 10 people. I hosted tens of people from New Zeland, Europe, Asia, US since 1999, great stories left on my Guest Book. They reached us by car or by train +bus from Sestri Levante rail station. They enjoied the country environment with our bikes, and the near seaside like Tigullio and Cinqueterre. In one hour car you are in Florence and Pisa. I live the world, I spend one month in Silicon Valley every year, since 2005 with (URL HIDDEN) ...I have many stories to tell..

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans la maison de Liouba. Le cadre est idyllique, au milieu des oliviers, en surplomb de la mer, le petit village est très sympathique et non envahi par les touristes. En même temps on est rapidement sur les sentiers de randonnée ou sur la plage. La maisons est très vaste, très agréable, bien équipée, meublée avec goût. Une maison avec une âme. On serait resté avec plaisir des semaines et on reviendra avec plaisir. merci encore.

La maison est absolument magnifique: grandes chambres lumineuses et spacieuses, énorme séjour clair, très grande terrasse avec une vue partiellement sur la mer. Grande cuisine bien équipée. Grand jardin avec des oliviers, et arbres fruitiers. Il n’y avait pas le WIFI, par contre il y a un bar/restaurant sympathique dans le village de Montaretto avec une bonne connexion, à environ 400m. Pour aller à la belle plage de Bonassola il faut compter 30-35 min. à pied en descendant, env. 45 min pour le retour (ça monte!). Le chemin est sympathique, partiellement à travers la forêt. Possibilités de très belles ballades à pied. Depuis Bonassola en train on est à 8 min. de Monterosso, premier village des Cinque Terre. Contact par mail facile avec Liuba. Vivement recommandé!
