Everything was exactly as pictured and perfect. Barbara was an exceptional hostess - met us at the door and wonderful to talk to. HIGHLY recommend.

This was perfect was our family reunion for 25+ people and Barbara was more than accommodating to our large group size. Any issues we had, she promptly took care of, literally drove to meet us when the sprinkler system would not shut off. We rented the entire property and there is no better way. The available golf carts make it fun to go between the cabins and out on the trails. The house(s) had ample area for everyone to hangout while a thunderstorm rolled through for a couple of hours. If you are looking for a country getaway, however while having the safety and comfort of modern living (i.e. mowed lawns, lighted pathways, swimming pools ), then there is no better place.

We rented all 3 cabins for a family get-together for 2 days. It was a wonderful experience. We had 16 total family members and most of them kids. The cabins were great, well kept and clean. Beds were very comfortable. We were able to bbq and find time for fishing in the beautiful lake as well. Everyone loved the experience. Barbara was a most gracious host. Living near the cabins with her husband and always easy to contact for any questions or concerns. Barbara even took time to let the kids meet her beautiful horses. I would definitely recommend this property and we will definitely be coming back again for another family reunion!

We stayed with Edith because her place is so close to the Renaissance Faire. Bathroom setup was exceptional. Super soft towels, water bottles and granola bars were a nice touch. Spacious clean room with a beautiful backyard view. Very clear directions to enter later at night. We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The management's hospitality was exceptional and supplied all the things we needed. Nice and peaceful spot out in the country. Will be back!

The place is very comfortable and the host is awesome.

This is a charming "farmhouse" style set up. The available quarters are a portion of the very large barn like garage that has been converted to a two room with queen beds and a bathroom shower area. There is also another room available in the main house with a queen bed. There was coffee, tea and small fridge in the garage apartment area, but we were also given access to the bottom floor of the main house including another bathroom/shower for the additional room, kitchen, living room and the patio porch as well. This location is nestled in the woods and is more of a country atmosphere. My son enjoyed fishing at the pond and I enjoyed the peace of the setting. Be was very sweet and accommodating. She also brought the kids fresh baked cookies one evening and served us some fresh watermelon the day (which was very hot) that we left!

We had a great experience with Be and her accommodations. She took great care of us. Dinner and breakfast was prepared and was delicious. She didn't have to do any of that but it was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Be's spot if you're stopping through the Magnolia area.

Be was super sweet. She cooked an amazing breakfast. The location is perfect for Texas renaissance festival. The space is private and the shower is beautiful and the bed is comfortable. Much better than a hotel. If you're in the area I definitely recommend you won't regret it!

Be is amazing. So incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, generous, hospitable, and attentive to every last detail. The property itself and the surrounding area is a lot of fun. The animals are friendly and extremely well behaved. The meals she prepared were phenomenal. I could not have possibly enjoyed my time any more than I have. For me, the kindness, patience, guidance and wisdom she shared were a tremendous breath of fresh air. Simply stated: Amazing

Be is an amazing host. She's super friendly and accommodating. And she cooks a mean breakfast! :) The area is gorgeous, quiet and secluded. It was perfect for us as it was only 15 minutes away from the wedding venue we we attended a wedding at.

We have been enjoying a great time there. Better than a hotel room.

I loved every minute of my ten day Nia Experience at Soma Ranch. I love my hosts Helen and Joe Terry. They embrace me and make me feel as if Soma Ranch is my second home. Helen and Joe have become a part of my family. I love spending time with the horses, donkeys, geese, frogs, hot tub, pool, infrared sauna, porch swings, rockers, basking in solitude and the glow of mother nature. The stars are so bright they light the way. I stay in the dormitory and have a bed I call my own. I love to push the button every morning to get the coffee started. Hot tea brews quickly. I cannot say enough about the fabulous meals cooked my Joe. I can taste the love he infuses into his magical creations. Helen is my inspiration. Anyone who has the opportunity to spend time at the wonderful Soma Ranch is in for a real treat. I look forward to the time when my husband can join me on a trip!!!!!!! The Cottage at Crazy K Farm is an excellent little getaway. The space's open-area design, comfy beds and couches, cleanliness, and well-stocked kitchen made for an excellent stay. Even with The Cabin being nearby, we never felt that privacy was an issue either. Tobi is also wonderful to work with with clear, concise communication - nothing was a surprise! I highly recommend this location to anyone needing a comfy place to stay in the North/North West Houston area.

Hosts were very responsive and flexible upon check in.

This is a beautiful and skillfully maintained ranch complete with a pond and an event area for rodeo, horse riding, and chuck wagon. I stayed there due to close proximity to the Texas Renaissance Festival, but I would like to return there this spring to stay and enjoy the ranch. The 'cabin' was more like a luxury rustic villa and the owners were very welcoming and kind. There is even a paddleboat to ride around on the pond. What a great place to stay for the weekend.

We did not want to leave. Beautiful accomodations with beautiful scenery. Everything was so clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

7D is beautiful. would be a great place for a family reunion! You might take some washcloths though...they had towels but no washcloths! otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to just kick back and relax between activities we had going on in College Station. The drive back and forth was not bad and it was nice to have some wide open space to just enjoy ourselves. The cabin was very comfortable and the property has a lot of fun things to explore. We wish we had had more time to watch the sorting contest Friday night, maybe next time. We hope to come back here soon.

My family and I had a great time at Soma Ranch. Joe was very attentive and helpful. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Helen but she was very understanding and super flexible in the reservation process. My little nephews enjoyed the pool to the fullest and the house was perfect for my big family reunion.

Soma Ranch is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. From the beautiful surroundings to the delightful touches around the house, our stay was absolutely lovely. In addition, there are honestly not enough synonyms available to explain how great and attentive Helen is. This is a great place to bring a large group of people, and I expect we will book Soma Ranch for our work retreats for many years to come.

Helen and Joe are two of the most amazing people I've had the opportunity to meet. They were extremely accommodating and respectful of my guests while visiting their home. They gave me tons of recommendations around the area and even offered to drive us around if I rented a boat which was unexpected and very sweet of them! Their home is beautiful and exactly as described. The pictures do not do the place justice, so I'd recommend visiting to see it! The place is super quiet and the animals are a plus to watch and see them hanging around. This place and Helen/Joe by far exceeded my family and I's expectations. We will definitely be back for another trip and would highly recommend their place of you need some time to get away from Houston or just need to relax away from a big city. We came from Los Angeles and New York and will definitely make our way back! Thanks again for sharing your place Helen and Joe!

We celebrated our new year eve at this fabulous property. Helen and Joe are extremely helpful hosts and they made sure that we had a great time. I will highly recommend this place and would like to revisit myself sometime soon.

What an absolutely perfect experience! I am reluctant to write this review cause I want this gem to stay a little hidden (-; Property was perfect for our group of 16 (and it honestly could easily accommodate another 8 if necessary). As others have said the listing doesn't do the property justice, but what was absolutely best were the hosts. Helen was so accommodating pre check-in telling us about the great fall festival at the farm next door; and Joe being the absolute most amazing host. Joe even came by the second day to give the kids all kinds of property treats like feeding the huge catfish, geese, horses and donkeys; and giving each kid some time driving the 4-wheeler (with him on guard). I just can't say enough great things. We'll be back!

I hosted my sister's bridal shower and several us stayed for the entire weekend! Tani was very welcoming! Before I arrived she asked if I needed anything. She was there when I arrived and helped me carry in the cake and cupcakes for my sister's bridal shower. The house was great in the pictures, but even more beautiful in person. The house was immaculate! The beds were super comfortable. The flowers and yard were amazing! I really can't say enough great things about our stay there! I would highly recommend staying here. I would love to come back!

Lovely home and setting. Host had detailed information prepared and a beautiful bouquet of gardenias from her garden on the dining area table. Everything clean - spotless. Truly a wonderful location.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. Tani has arranged things nicely so that guests can have a private entrance and a secluded room The room is big and airy and has a king size bed. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to other visitors.

Tani is very sweet and a great hostess, The home is amazing with very comfortable accommodations and wonderful architecture with historic Charm. The only thing I would recommend is that direction on where to find Coffee for the coffee maker provided be given. We had a great stay! The house is a historic home that has been beautifully updated but still keeps the charm. The backyard is wonderful with a large deck and pretty trees. Would definitely recommend this home to our friends and family.

Great Historical home, loved the wooden floors and high ceiling. The yard was beautiful especially loved the deck in the back and thank you Tani for letting us turn on the lights in the back that look like stars, the night air smelled of magnolia and honeysuckle! Loved it and oh yes, very comfortable bed!

Tani was very welcoming upon our arrival. The home was beautiful and she kept it decorated for us for the holidays which was such a nice surprise! We loved the character of the home and plan to stay with Tani again in the future! Highly recommend!
