Enjoy our lovely ground level apartment minutes from the best that the Australian bush has to offer yet only 16mins by car to the CBD. Located just 2.8km to Brisbane Forrest park and Brisbane's best swimming hole (picture floating amongst the lillypads whilst listening to the whip birds). Nature lovers can enjoy the fresh air, lots of bush walks and scenic drives all whilst being based close to the Brisbane CBD.
When you are ready to rest and relax from adventuring, we have a welcoming double bed, plus a study/dressing room, a neat open plan living area, kitchenette, bathroom and combined laundry. The outside patio has an outdoor dining area and webber charcoal BBQ (available on request). Separate access to the apartment and complete privacy is available all year round. Room 1: Double bed, bedside table, pedestal fan. Study/dressing room: desk, chair, wall mirror, clothes hanging rack. Sofa bed: Double sofa bed in living area with under bed storage for bedding. A pedestal fan. *Portacots, and other baby items can be provided (if requested) at no extra charge. The kitchenette has all you need for basic cooking (or dining in). It includes an electric cooktop as well as a microwave. A Weber BBQ is available for use on the private patio (on request). Indoor and outdoor dining options provide you with the opportunity to make the most our beautiful sub-tropical climate. A neatly presented bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and a hairdryer help make your stay feel like home. What makes the apartment an ideal choice for your trip: •Separate, private entrance (24 hour check in and check out by key lock box) •private patio and outdoor dining area •full sized fridge/freezer •pedestal fans in the bedroom and lounge •well equipped kitchen for preparing meals •private washing machine and private outdoor washing line. The apartment is located in the peaceful, leafy suburb of The Gap. Only 1.8km walk/short ride along the fish creek bikeway to The Gap Village centre for groceries, cafes, additional bus options and parks however, a car or bus may be more comfortable on a hot day. We have great inside information on the best places to eat and explore so you will feel like a true local.

    This luxury apartment is available in a quiet corner of North West Brisbane. Highly recommended with consistent 5 STARS. Crisp white sheets and a well-stocked fridge. Romantic nights by the poolside in the beautiful private courtyard garden and sunsets from our elevated position. We provide excellent breakfast ingredients for you on your first morning. Complementary bathroom toiletries and robes to spoil you. Exceptional value. We can sleep two on the sofa bed in the living area as well.
    There are amazing views of blue skies and green trees from your private outdoor courtyard. Very spacious, peaceful and clean environment with herbs and spices growing in huge pots just outside your door. Our environmental impact is minimal with solar electricity and hot water system. Solar heated pool makes it great in Autumn and Spring as well as Summer as it’s comfortable to swim in any weather. There is a microwave in the kitchen and a stove top for basic one pot cooking. The is private and well situated for morning swims.
    Peaceful surroundings and yet near to shops, restaurants and unique shopping locations. We are close enough to the city for a day or evening in the city. Favourite visiting places around here are hidden treasures, include Mt Glorious, Walkabout Creek Visitors Centre, Lake Enoggera where you may picnic, bushwalk, find a nice cuppa coffee and cafe foods. The D'Aguilar National Park offers picnic locations, bushwalking and bird watching. There are several good local coffee shops and restaurants nearby and far afield in the countryside as well. We are happy to help you locate the perfect spot for your needs.

    As well as the king size bed, a couch in the lounge area can be converted to a single bed.
    The Gap is a beautiful suburb known for its greenery and close proximity to national parks, the gorgeous Enoggera Reservoir area is 5 mins drive away and o ffers swimming, kayaking, bushwalking, cafe and zoo. We are a few minutes drive from local shops, cafes and other amenities. With close proximity to the city centre (10km, 15-20 min drive, 30 min bus) we offer a delightful community feel in a leafy, hilly suburb.

    Separate self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms ( 1 Queen & 2 singles) on ground floor with veranda & garden access. Fridge, convection microwave, kettle & toaster with all utensils & crockery in separate kitchenette. Barbecue on veranda. All rooms & veranda are large, comfortably furnished & quiet for your enjoyment. Both bedrooms have fans & in the event that its needed , air-conditioning throughout the apartment will be operated automatically
    This area of The Gap is close to Brisbane Forest Park and full of bird life. Our home is quiet and catches the breezes because it is set on a hill.
  • We stayed for a weekend trip to Brisbane and really enjoyed our time at Meryl’s place. She responded very quickly to our enquiry and sent comprehensive instructions on how to access the apartment. She was attentive to our needs. The apartment is very well set up. It has a fantastic view across the valley. A pod coffee machine was certainly appreciated as were the milk and strawberries in the fridge.

    This fully air conditioned accommodation is in a perfect location, 4km from Brisbane CBD, great for inner city living without the hustle and bustle. Suited to singles, couples or small families. Walking distance to local shops and cafes. A short walk to the bus stop for easy access to the City and surrounds.
    The garden is a dominant feature of the space. Both the deck area and the tea house provide views of the garden which is relaxing and private. Guests have their own private access to the living area which is fully air conditioned. Enjoy a cool beverage on the spacious deck after a day of sightseeing, meetings/work.
    The neighbourhood is close to parks. The green space at the back of the house leads to a small park. Then crossing the road at the end of the street is a larger park, playground and coffee shops, just a 50 metre walk. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy. A short drive will take you to the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens then drive to the top of Mt Cootha for magnificent views of Brisbane and enjoy a drink/lunch/dinner at the Mt Cootha Lookout restaurant.

Annette gave us lots of privacy and was always there to lend a hand with anything we needed (which was nothing! because the place had everything one could want for a peaceful stay in Brisbane!)     Our home is located in the west of Brisbane , only 21km from Brisbane airport. The Enoggera reservoir and the D'Aguillar national park are on our door steps. A visit to walkabout creek wildlife centre is a must to see the platypus and his friends. We share our home with 3 cats which live downstairs but may wonder on to the deck to say hi. Mar works from home and is keen to show you around if you wish. On site parking available for cars and on site lockable garage for motorbikes. .
    As we live on the lower level , the top floor is exclusively for our guests. The Deck with BBQ is a shared area. We have 3 bedrooms available so you can book all 3 or only 1. We can host 1 to 6 guests. If required we can add a sofa bed in the lounge to host 8 guests. Each room can host 2 guests. To book additional rooms , look for our other listings The Kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook at home or go out. Our BBQ on the deck with prior approval from us.
    The Gap village is a great shopping centre ,with supermarkets ,a gin bar and coffee shops. If you feel like pampering yourself there a 3 hair dresser, nail bar and massage spa. The Gap is situated between mountains and we are spoilt for choices of places to go.( Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious and Mt Coot-tha, just to mention a few.

  • This is a very calm space. When you enter you can forget that you are in a very busy location in Brisbane. It is quiet and the wide windows overlook the tree tops. The suite was very clean and very well appointed. The response from Nick and David was very quick and they sent such good information prior to our arrival. Take the time to read the history of this home in the information folder. Access to the Brisbane CBD and other attractions is easy and there are eateries and a small shopping complex nearby. We will definitely recommend the Fairy House to friends.

    This area is perfect for just an overnight or short stay for guests passing through Brisbane or on their way home by air. With normal traffic conditions it's about 25 minutes by taxi/Uber to the airport. Just note that if you are walking from the station or bus stop, there’s a very steep hill to walk up, not good on a hot day!It’s difficult with a big bag because the footpath also runs out. Just let me know if you are arriving this way and I may be able to pick you up.
    The space is small, but very light filled and has a very private porch directly outside with views of the garden. We do not supply breakfast as such, but there’s a Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, small fridge and kettle. There is also milk, tea , coffee pods and banana bread or a lovely cafe an easy walk away called “Brisbean”. The garden itself is accessible and pleasant to take a walk around with a pond, chicken house and possibly two little friendly, curious Pomeranians to keep you company ! We also welcome your dog if he/she is small and well behaved. They are allowed inside the room as small dogs are usually used to being inside and there is a grass area just outside for them to do their business. We would appreciate it if you picked up the doo doos because others including ourselves also use that area ! The area is fenced so there is no problem with escapees. We keep our dogs separate if you do bring yours, it is just quieter and safer for all .
    Our neighbourhood is quiet, leafy, family and dog friendly, perfect for taking a walk around if you don't mind hills ! There are great views of the city to be had and breezes in the evenings.

  • We had a quiet and relaxing night in Pennys apartment before our departure from Brisbane. The room is small, but has its own charm. The view of the great garden is beautiful. We had breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine and enjoyed the view. Of course we also have to mention Penny's two sweet dogs, who even visited us once. The airport is about 20 minutes away and there are some restaurants nearby. We had delicious Thai food.

    It is close to parks, shops, public transport, and the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. It is located on a main road so the bus services are excellent but there is some traffic noise.
    This is a 1960s home with modern features such as freshly polished hard wood floors and modern bathroom. Newly installed wardrobes which you are able to put all clothes during your stay, It consists of a bedroom with a new comfortable queen sized bed, A large Lounge room installed with air conditioning and bedroom with ceiling fan. You will have access to the refrigerator and are welcome to cook your own meals in the kitchen, also it is a stone throw to one of the best coffee shops around Ashgrove. (About 200m walk)

KITCHENETTE As you move through the studio you will see the quaint kitchenette that is stocked with all necessary appliances, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery that you will need to cook your meals, and you will have the use of a portable two plate cook top and microwave.     Our house is located in a nice, leafy and green area, and yet close to shops and public transport. A modern shopping mall is just 2km away
    Although close to highway and transportation, our house is hidden in an area surrounded by trees and vegetation. It was built on a sloped land, so getting up and down the driveway and stairs can be a challenge for some. But if you love nature and enjoy walking around then this is a great place for you to stay.

    Welcome to our 40 sqm downstairs unit, it has a flat private separate entry, and has been extensively renovated with a new designer bathroom, and contemporary kitchen. Ensuite bathroom has access to a private garden area. You will find everything you need for a relaxing stay in our bush-land setting. Our guests often comment about how tranquil and quiet the unit is. We are a strictly non smoking residence please.
    The unit is very private, tucked out of the way off the main road, and down a private roadway. We have one small step into the unit, other than that it is perfectly flat. You will need a car, or use ride sharing or taxi to get around, we are not that close to public transport, and the trip from Brisbane airport is about 25 mins. Grovely train station is a 5 minute drive, we are 11 kms from the CBD. Our closest shopping centres are in Arana Hills and Brookside at Mitchelton. The apartment is fully self contained with a Queen bed and bedside tables & lighting, in a spacious separate room, there is plenty of hanging space in the WIR, and a front load washing machine and clothes line for your convenience. The new european oven and ceramic cooktop make cooking a breeze. You will find a supply of tea, coffee, milk, condiments and first day breakfast items. Entertainment wise we have a large size TV with a DVD player and chromecast, and fast wifi. The unit is always comfortable with a reverse cycle AC, and in hot weather feel free to access our pool when the cover is off. There is sufficient off street parking, in a bush surrounding. Gas BBQ available on request There is a lovely bush walking track which takes you through to Arana Hills and Ferny Grove, you can walk as little, or as much as you like! A visit to walkabout creek wildlife centre is a must to see the platypus and his friends. We share our home with 3 cats which live downstairs but may wonder on to the deck to say hi. Mar works from home and is keen to show you around if you wish. On site parking available for cars and on site lockable garage for motorbikes. .
    As we live on the lower level , the top floor is exclusively for our guests. The Deck with BBQ is a shared area. We have 3 bedrooms available so you can book all 3 or only We can host 1 to 6 guests. If required we can add a sofa bed in the lounge to host 8 guests. Each room can host 2 guests. To book additional rooms , look for our other listings The Kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook at home or go out. Our BBQ on the deck with prior approval from us.
    The Gap village is a great shopping centre ,with supermarkets ,a gin bar and coffee shops. If you feel like pampering yourself there a 3 hair dresser, nail bar and massage spa. The Gap is situated between mountains and we are spoilt for choices of places to go.( Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious and Mt Coot-tha, just to mention a few.

  • Great apartment located at a quiet neighbourhood with a bus station right next to it! Super stylish and new. A lot of natural light. I love it, and will not hesitate to book it again next time when I visit Brisbane! Very few imperfections that did not bother me much: Cleanness at the kitchen amenities has a little room of improvement. Traffic noise might not be very friendly for light sleepers. (But deep-sleepers like me was not affected at all) Other than these, it was all perfect!

  • Sabrina’s place really great. Comes with all the things you’d need. From the carpark, to the lift, washing machine, wifi etc. Checking in was easy too; just have to follow instructions closely. Balcony’s got a wonderful view of the city. However the trains get a bit noisy at night (not an issue for us because we’re heavy sleepers). Sabrina replies real quickly. Appreciate that very much.   • The location is perfect! It takes a little time to get to the CBD, which is not too bad, since the way there is already very nice (city hopper or bridge). In addition, you are not far from the Story Bridge as well as the perfect view of the skyline - so you can take a quick look at the city at night! Lee and Damian are very nice. The room is furnished with everything you need and everything is clean. The kitchen and large veranda are also great. Definitely a recommended place to stay!

As stated in the announcement we are not immune to meeting a few small animals (spider, cockroach) that can be very scary when we are not used to it. A lot of people come and go, with a little luck you can meet them and talk. The location at the top of the kangaroo point is really nice, nice view.

    This is a very quiet tranquil setting down an easement yet close - 4 minute walk - to public transport which will take you to Paddington, Suncorp Stadium, The City, Valley, Ekka, RBW Hospital. As explained in the house manual, it is a short walk to several coffee shops and local restaurants. Under cover parking. A ‘help yourself’ Breakfast is included which includes bread/toast a large selection of spreads, a selection of cereals, milk and yoghurt. Coffee and teas + a selection of fruit.
    This is a self contained suite under a family home but with your own private entrance.
    This is a quiet neighbourhood but there are several wonderful coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. A ‘mud map’ is included in the House Manual.
