Mary and Whady were the loveliest of hosts! They welcomed me in with a glass of wine, and an offer of dinner, and we chatted the night away. The apartment was super cozy, immaculately clean. The shower was hot, and there was even breakfast waiting for me in the fridge as well as some fruit and 'treats'! Mary recommended some awesome spots to stop in when I was on my way. Overall, one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had! If you're planning on being close by, I highly recommend you stay with Mary and Whady :)

From the moment I arrived Mary and Whady went out of there way to be welcoming, friendly and helful. The unit is perfection, spotless, comfortable, has its own private entrance and includes everything you could possibly want and more. We had a fantastic stay at Kang and Keung's place. From a warm welcome, a relaxing massage (by Kang), and then a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep, we awoke refreshed ready to continue our road trip. The place is spacious, quiet, and very clean. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kang's place. It's located perfectly in between Byron and Sydney for an overnight stop. The view is amazing and makes a great start to the day. I recommend the nearby tavern for dinner also.

We had a very good time at Llyods place. A cul de sac location, just a minutes drive to Blackhead and Diamond beach. There were all the amenities needed and a verandah with the view of 17th hole of the golf course. Wake up with the sound of bord every morning. We would recommend the place to anyone who loves golf, surf and beaches. We would visit the place again in near future.

We stayed in Lloyds beautiful home for 4 nights, and enjoyed every moment. The appartment on the lover floor is spacious, cozy, clean and with a wonderful terrasse. Lloyd is a fantastic and very pleasant host, we enjoyed very much our regular chats. We were welcomed with lovely chocholate and the home made beer was very tasty :) We will definitely recommend Lloyds place if you need a quiet place in lovely surroundings, close to one of the most beautiful beaches.

Lloyd is a wonderful host who took care of all our needs and requirements. The space feels quite personal and Lloyd is always around if you want to have a chat or need suggestions. No doubt, the outdoor balcony and the views from windows are an absolute delight. We loved waking up to the sounds of Kookaburras in the morning and the lush golf greens and fairways. The place is quite close to Blackhead beach and the gorgeous Pacific Palms beaches are a half an hour drive away. We really enjoyed our stay and socialising with Lloyd who is a kind and considerate host.

Lloyd was a very very good host,full of local knowledge,places to visit etc.his flat is located below the house. You get good early morning sun and the rest of the day you are in shade.its a relaxing view over part of the golf course,plenty of bird life,and if the weather is ok a good deck to sit on and absorb.distances to black head 3 min and to main towns forster and taree abt 20 min.we had a week at lloyds with full intention to kick back and (URL HIDDEN) a large degree we acheived that.however as we discussed with lloyd there is one feature of the house/flat design that would give full privacy and insulation from the affairs to the house above and that is to address the open stairwells carrying noise both ways.lloyd says he is working on a solution. We hope he does because his setting is bang on it just needs this privacy issue resolved.

Lloyd has been a great host, very helpful and caring, we did enjoy his company when we had bbq together and played golf. The place is perfect for a peaceful holiday, the house is spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen is small but quite well equipped, would suggest to add a no-sticky pan for cooking. Location it's great as it's very close to beautiful beaches and groceries store are very close too. Highly recommend, we hope to come back again!

Well Lloyd is a great host. We stayed at his place for 10 days. The house is a shared experience Lloyd lives upstairs and we lived down stairs the stairway in between is not closed off and so in the living space downstairs there is limited privacy. The balcony and the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is adequate if you want to cook. It is beautiful space. Complete with laundry and clothes line. Perfect for a stay in God's country. 5 minutes from a beautiful beach and 20 minutes from Forster.

Lloyd was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Definetly one of the best neighbourhoods in the area, really nice big homes. Very safe and good for long walks. Clean modern space to stay with a great deck over-looking the golf course and close to beaches and activities. Nothing bad to say, had a great stay.

Lloyd was an excellent host, very friendly and hospitable and the location is peaceful and quiet with incredible surrounding ocean and hinterland views; even the ocean could be heard in the quiet of the night. A highlight was breakfast and dinner on the balcony over-looking the green and into the beautiful gum trees.

Good location for near beach stay or golfing.

I stayed for Easter April 2017 long-weekend. A golfer's dream, the house is located right next to a Championship golf-course! Well-appointed, very clean and comfy room (I took the larger of the two they had, next to the front door). Anne-Marie & Rocco are excellent hosts, have fantastic local knowledge, and nothing is too much trouble for them! Quiet, "treescape" location - it is indeed a "sunshine haven"! Caveat: Only Telstra Mobile has reception in the area. Need a car; not walking distance to beaches nor shops, no public transport, 20 minutes drive to Forster CBD.

If you love golf, this is the perfect place as the golf course is your backyard. Very confortable home with indoor swimming pool and also very peaceful. The beach is also close by. If you are looking for a bit of a retreat away from noise and near nature, this is a great location with lovely walks nearby.

This is a wonderful home providing us with what we wanted for a relaxing escape from Sydney. It was very comfortable and accommodated us very well. Exceeded our expectations with the communication from Michelle excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing trip away.

The accomodation was accurately described by the host. We loved the indoor pool and the outdoor area that overlooked golf course. The kitchen is fully equipped for those that like to cook. We will certainly look at coming here again as the host makes you feel you are part of the family without interfering.

Sunshine Haven doesn't disappoint! Ann-Maree and Rocco are friendly, generous and thoughtful hosts who made us feel very welcome in their home. We felt free to use their facilities and come and go as we pleased. The accommodation is private, spacious and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and within an easy drive of Halliday's Point and beach, Blackhead, and Forster-Tuncurry. We'd be very happy to stay with them again!

I enjoyed my stay at Ann-Maree's home. It's a nice and specious house in a really quiet neighborhood. The room I stayed in was very nice to, lots of room and a comfy bed. The hosts where really friendly and made sure that my stay was as good as possible. Forster is a short drive from here (15 minutes) and is a great place to do activities or hiking. Can't recommend The Haven enough, it is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Everything has been done to a very high standard. It was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our group pf three. We could walk to the beach and dinner and back, the outdoor shower was an excellent idea and the hosts were very welcoming and were proud of their area. We recommend highly and will be back.

This was a great stop. Beautiful, clean brand new suite and the town was fantastic. We caught the Sunday market which was a real treat and the beach was phenomenal.

Lovely place and location. One thing I had to be conscious about was for my children to keep the noise levels down, as the hosts were only one wall away from us. Other than that, we loved the brand new amenities and th close proximity to the beach, play ground and easy/ child friendly pub meals :-)

Fabulous newly built accomodation which was modern and clean. Clare was lovely and the lovely little snacks and drinks on arrival in the fridge were fabulous for traveling with kids. We ate as recommended at the local Tavern which is in walking distance and it was a really great meal and had good playground for the kids. Would highly recommend

Blackhead might not be the highest profile spot on the NSW Coast but it is a hidden gem. Clare's apartment was great - immaculately clean, very comfortable and secure, and she kindly had it stocked with some lovely little touches that made us feel very welcome.

Lorraine's place is absolutely fantastic. The view is unbeatable and the house and area create the most relaxing ambiance. The beach is a short 5 minute walk from the house and the pool offers a great place to swim and relax in wonderful privacy. Lorraine is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Every year my son and I take a week away - always somewhere north. I booked Lorraine's 2 bedroom unit which opens out onto the swimming pool and deck with sweeping views over Diamond Beach to Crowdy Head. The unit was airy and cool - spacious living areas and bedrooms. Lovely bathroom and modern kitchen. red Head is between Diamond and Black Head beaches - both patrolled. Diamond beach is accessible from the house via stairs. It is a short drive to Forster for stand up paddleboarding on wallis lake. Black Head has a good supermarket and butchers - also 2 newly surfaced tennis courts! It is quiet and serene as well as offering gorgeous beaches, water sports and a 25m lap pool to return each afternoon to!! We loved that pool!! Perfect recharge holiday spot.

We loved Seascape Retreat! It is exactly that; Lorraine is the perfect host, easy to communicate with and on hand if you need anything, she even spoilt me with coffee! Lorraine also allowed us onto her balcony for a glorious view of the full moon rising over the beach, we got to see the pretty colors as the sky changed and then the moon's reflection over the waves. Lorraine is very friendly but respects your privacy and desire to relax. Her home offers an ideal space to enjoy the idyllic surrounds, close to several beaches as well as having a perfect lap pool, literally, right on your door step!!! It was so nice to walk out of the bedroom and jump straight into the pool warmed by the early morning sunshine. The bedrooms are roomy with ample cupboards, kitchen has all the required amenities and there is also a webber BBQ for alfresco dinning. Your private floor has ceiling fans in each room with additional well positioned luva windows and sliding doors allowing free flow of the prevailing breeze that keeps the temperature ideal. You are close enough to walk to the beach and you can see and hear the waves crashing from your veranda. Nearby local village has shops for all essentials; groceries and take-away if wanted, pharmacy and Tavern. Seascape is situated between Forster-Tuncurry and Taree, only a short 15-20min drive to either township for greater choice of shops, restaurants and cafes. Port McQuarie is only an hours drive north also. Seascape is a terrific base to explore and enjoy the delights of the mid north coast or simply stay put and enjoy the beach and pool in your own oasis. We spent our week enjoying it all!

Lorraine's place was exceptionally beautiful. The view was second to none, the apartment was spacious, and the pool has to be seen to be belived. Lorraine was very welcoming, intelligent, and easy going, all the while respecting our privacy. Would definitely recommend to any couple or friends looking for a break from the chaos of the city.

As a group of 3 adults we stayed 2 nights. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless, view was lovely and peaceful. Walk to beach across headland very scenic about 5 minutes. Lots of various birds around. Lovely pool although a bit cold for me in May for swimming. I would recommend this place for a relaxing break away. A very pretty art of the coast to visit.

Suzanne was very helpful in the lead up to the trip providing answers to any questions we had. The house is even better in person than the photos show, and the location is great for visiting the surrounding areas and beaches.

Upon arrival we discovered the house was beautiful and HUGE. Seemed brand new, very clean, lots of space, and of course the views across the coast were stunning. 10 minute drive to blackhead shops and black head beach (patrolled beach, large and very pretty). Some restaurants in black head, and a few spas in the area which was great! 20 minutes to Forester which has major shopping centres, restaurants, rockpool to swim, boat hire, and small beachside shops. Patio area and outdoor table was big enough to sit 7-8 people for outdoor dinner and board games. Watching the sunset from the height of tallow's village was very cool! and should not be missed. Was great for a few couples to get away or a family. The boys enjoy golf game as well down the street! The weather was particularly warm and house heats up quickly, after sunset, opening all windows to allow a cross breeze helped! Suzanne was quite helpful. We had a delightful stay!

Michelle was the most perfect host, their home is beautifully kept with numerous artworks throughout the home, all the mod cons and more. The deck area was our hub for our 5 day stay and the easily accommodated our 3 families. No need for air con - this home is built to accept the breezes. Super comfy beds and lovely linen. Well worth the value and some.

We really enjoyed Sandy's place. With sounds of the nearby surf, and cries of the birds in the nearby ponds, we could have been in the middle of nowhere. Yet both the shops and the Tavern (great meals!) were both a couple of minutes walk away. The loft has the feel of a lovely beach house with spots both upstairs and down to sit outside, and the beds are very comfortable. Sandy was there to welcome us. We arrived earlier than we thought and it was no problem to use the loft. A nice place to stay and the little loft has everything you need. Healthy breaky was provided. Birds come to the garden. Very good location to shops and beaches. Sandy gave us good ideas what to do. Lovely and warm place.

We loved our stay at Roger & Jodie's beautiful house. It's spacious, modern and comfortable. The kitchen is awesome and the balcony/deck is massive with ocean and nature reserve views. The location is great with 2 patrolled beaches within walking distance, there's a supermarket nearby and it's only 20km from Forster. The neighbourhood is very quiet in the evenings which we really enjoyed. There are houses being built in the vicinity though, but we did not mind as the kids were up early and we were out and about most of the day. Rog & Jodie are really friendly, thoughtful and responsive. We'd love to stay again. Thanks for having us!!!

Beautiful home, stunning location. Easy & fun walk to the beach that our kids loved. Excellent bike/walking paths around the estate, our boys spent a lot of time on their scooters exploring. Lovely 'country' feel with farm animals across the road and the beach over the hill. Quiet, safe and great for families. If you are staying during winter BYO blankets as there were not enough to keep us warm at night. Be aware of the hidden costs (wifi & firewood).

Beautiful place and the whales in distance an added bonus. Perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed the cull de sac to ride their bikes.

Beautiful openplan home with peaceful views, located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The home has 2 fantastic bathrooms and an ensuite. I appreciated how well lit the main area was for our boardgames. The rooms are spacious but can get hot at night. I suggest bringing a few portable fans since the home has no flyscreens or cooling. The main room which opens up to the main balcony area has no curtains or blinds so it's not very private. The driveway may be too steep for grandma. Thanks for having your home on AIRBNB, I truly enjoyed my stay!

This is a great house. It's in a quiet location, with views of the ocean. We drove to the beach daily, but it is walkable - if the kids are a bit older. We returned to Sydney feeling rejuvenated. Thanks so much, Roger and Jodie...

We have just enjoyed a fantastic few days at Black Diamond .Jenny met us on arrival and showed us through her amazing, comfortable house with views over the beach.The house was clean and had everything we needed for us and the kids - sun chairs ,body boards ,board games,table tennis ,bikes ,towels etc .Jenny helped us promptly when we were unable to work the oven and was kind enough to offer to come over ...we figured it out .It was not the best weather when we were staying , however the views over the sea and the crashing ocean was fantastic and the kids could surf so everyone was happy.Thank you Jenny we will definitely be back .

I could write a story on how good the house is but in a short sentence. We where blown away in the house and the layout. It has all the creature comforts and more. It's quiet and close to small shops along with the beach at your doorstep. Jenny was fantastic in making us feel welcome and comfortable like the house was ours. Try it you will not regret it.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenny's house! Everything was perfect. We arrived late on Friday and the house was warm for us. You'll find everything you need there! The beach, the terrace, the view on the ocean the stove which makes the ambiance of the living room so cosy, the pool table, bbq... Beds are really comfy, kitchen is fully furnished and the house is just splendid! We had a wonderful week end with our friends and it was hard to leave on Monday. Jenny was a perfect host. Present and available whenever we needed without being intrusive at all!

The house was perfect for our needs, well equipped with a large galley kitchen and plenty of room for relaxation. Lots of activities were available from the sauna, a pool table and wonderful pinball machine, to board games and books. The location is just superb with direct access to the beach which is patrolled by lifeguards between 9am-5pm. Jenny and Geoff were quick to respond when we had a problem and had an electrician attend on Christmas Day - very much appreciated.

A beautiful house. Sommer and Andy were lovely hosts. As it was New Year's Eve they left use some treats. We had a relaxing and lovely stay. The house is a short walk to Diamond beach.

We LOVED staying here - we chose this location due to its proximity to our family (just one street away on Emerald Drv). The host Sommer was lovely and left us a beautiful welcoming note as well as info on things we might like to do. The home was immaculate and the suburb is very quiet and safe, perfect for our young boys

Sommer's place was bright, spacious & tidy. We felt at home here instantly. The house is also well equipped with all the essentials & an awesome deck to enjoy the afternoons. Communication was always very quick & easy & Sommer was very helpful. Great place

We had a wonderful stay at Sommer's house. It was clean and welcoming with everything we needed at hand. Wonderful location, with water views from the back verandah and a short walk down to the beach. Everything was fantastic, Sommer was a lovely host, very friendly and forgiving when our son accidentally marked her furniture. We had a wonderful time, thank you Sommer for a lovely holiday stay.
