  • Outstanding! This place is an absolute GEM! The Cabin is modern yet filled with home comforts, fully fitted kitchen with everything you might need. We cooked several meals and ate on the private gated patio on the front of the cabin. Due to circumstances we didn’t manage to interact much with Amanda and Barry, but we were made to feel most welcome. The bird life the greets you at the door in the mornings is one of the highlights. As is molly the dog who pops her head near the private gate to say hello from time to time. These hosts are special, their little part of the world is special and I’d wholeheartedly recommend this airbnb stay/experience to anyone. Thank you for having us Mike and Jordan

  • Amazing space in an idyllic, peaceful setting- but close enough to road networks to explore the area. Accomodation is comfortable, clean and spacious, with the local wildlife literally on your doorstep!

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! What a feast for the eyes and the soul. We loved our stay. Amanda is so welcoming. The place was great with everything you’d need and it was lovely and warm (we stayed during storm Jorge). The highlight is definitely the birds and animals. Sitting feeding ducks while drinking coffee in the morning, what a treat. Loads of places to walk too. Local amenities were all close by too. Definitely recommend staying here. We didn’t want to leave.

  • Amanda’s place is lovely. My husband and I stayed with 2 children who loved meeting all the animals and already want to return. The views are beautiful we had a very relaxing time . Amanda was very helpful and responded to any questions we had quickly. We plan on returning in the summer.

    Dominik2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed in the Elliot Suite for a very rare night away from the kids. The property was simply breathtaking will beautiful decor and little touches throughout. It was really lovely to have all the breakfast items in the fridge, including milk & juice for the morning. The hot tub was fantastic, it’s in its own gazebo type housing and a nice & private space to relax with Alexa in the hot tub house being a great treat to listen to music whilst we were relaxing. The hosts were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I will definitely be back here as it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed. Thank you Lucy & Stuart!

    Debbie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Elliott suite was exactly what we wanted: fantastically chilled and comfortable - and there was a hot tub! We literally stayed for one very spontaneous night after a trip abroad got cut short, so the fact that Lucy met us with wine, and had stocked the fridge with breakfast was much appreciated and especially thoughtful. Thank you providing such a relaxing end to a hectic few days :)

Set directly opposite Pearson Park in the tree lined avenues which form the heart of Hull's restaurant area, Number Seven offers comfort, flexibility, a sprinkling of design flair and an incredibly quiet nights rest being hidden away from the madding crowd with access via a private road. Covid-19 - Please follow the Government advice. If you have essential travel then we have moved to a strict no contact self check in & improved our already immaculate cleaning. Stay safe, travel safe.
We designed and built the apartment at Number Seven between August and December 2016. The accommodation exists as a self contained annex within my home, and part of the joy of designing bespoke lodging from the ground up is the freedom it gives you on focusing on it's prime purpose and then adding some desirable extras. The main room is 5 meters in length, the combination of lashings of natural light and well chosen fittings lending it a light and spacious feel. We added amenities we thought you would enjoy, such as 48" HD smart TV with all your catch up favourites, youtube and a selection of free movies that pivots for comfortable viewing be that from bed or seating area, USB charging sockets, soundproofing, thermal insulation, a fully equipped kitchen and an independent heating system meaning you can set the perfect temperature you enjoy be that for relaxing or sleep. I am not someone who believes rental accommodation should be laminate floors and melamine wardrobes, so you will find some very pleasant furnishings and fittings, a welcome king size bed with quality mattress and cotton rich bedding, tactile fabrics and floorings of tile, real slate and the finest Westex pure wool carpet. I am particularly proud of the lighting design - we placed all the main lights on dimmers and combined them with lamps and light features while adding a colour scheme and fittings that allow for the interplay of light leading to some lovely options for setting a homely mood for you to enjoy - we really do encourage you to have a good old play with your fun options. We even installed a Hollywood mirror, so no excuses for not looking and feeling your most glamorous on a night out :-) We provide breakfast on the first night of your stay with us, so if you are just with us briefly on leisure or business then you don't need to worry about gathering supplies for the morning, no matter what time you check in you know you can spend your evening relaxing knowing it's always nice waking up to a treat as breakfast is included. Tea, coffee and cooking condiments are also supplied along with towels and toiletries. We hope you enjoy our offering.
Two minutes walk from your accommodation you can choose either Princes Avenue or Newland Avenue with a myriad of independent bars, restaurants and retailers covering anything from Thai Fusion to Moroccan, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Fish and Jamaican through to Modern English. In summer it is THE place for alfresco drinking and dining. Pearson Park is opposite the house. Your access to the accommodation is via private road, which means it is both quiet, and offers excellent vehicle security.

A newly built country lodge, set on a quiet estate in the village of Dunswell, just 20 minutes from Hull City Centre, or 10 minutes from Beverley. The lodge is a high specification cabin, and fitted out to a high standard. Sited in July 17, it is in perfect condition. The modern open plan living space consists of kitchen, dining table with seating for four a and comfortable sofa and television. It is fully set with everything you need to cook and eat meals, just as you would at home. The bathroom includes both a bath and separate corner shower. WiFi is also freely available. • We spent a lovely weekend at Sarah’s house whilst attending a wedding at Bunny Hill farm. It exceeded our expectations, the house is much bigger than the pictures suggest and the views are amazing. Sarah was a fantastic host and we would highly recommended her house for any large group and we would love to come again. We had a fab time in Sarah’s new hot tub.

    Amer2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for a large group get together. Very sociable and comfortable rooms with plenty of space for everyone. Sarah was a great host and we had the best weekend.

    Louise2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • From start to end Sarah made our trip really easy. She gave me contacts, offered extras and set up the house perfectly for us. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. House is so well set up for parties - hot tub incredible addition! Fox & Coney pub nearby, really nice food and walkable in 5mins. Spa a 15minute walk and really lovely setting. Great trip!

  • Really enjoyed our stay here, definitely would recommend

    Nicki2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house is huge and even better than the photos. Sarah is super nice and chilled so we felt really comfortable having a hen party there, which is difficult to find on Airbnb. The outdoor space is lovely. She has fairy lights, huge speakers and a disco ball so it was the perfect place, the hot tub was the cherry on top :)

  • Andrew was very accommodating when my bus was cancelled. He was very friendly, always had a smile on his face and greeting his guest at the door. The room itself was spacious and the view from the window was lovely.

    Cassandra2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • A cosy warm attic room, with a lounge area, this feels like being a student again in a share house. It's a multicultural area, very close to the city centre, so ideal for getting to the transport interchange or getting food in the evening. Andrew offers his kitchen too, so if you were staying a few days, you could self cater without feeling you were imposing. He is very sociable and makes you feel at home. One thing to note is the wooden floors mean sound does travel upstairs to the attic, so you can hear doors closing etc so if you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs. Exceptionally good value for money, this is what AirBnB should be.... an invitation into a welcoming home, with a kind, friendly, easy going host.

    Cara2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew is a very cordial host and helped me with luggage to the attic room which I found to be a most pleasant gesture. The room is clean, dry and warm with a nice comfortable bed in which I had a sound night's sleep. Would recommend Andrew's place to any traveller to the Hull area. Many thanks Andrew.

  • Andrew’s place is close to local amenities, easy to find, with ample free parking in the street. The room is lovely and big with a big sofa and storage. Andrew was a pleasant host and had provided thoughtful touches like books, drinking water in the room and local info. His home was really nice with art on the walls. A lovely value for money stay in a great area.

  • Excellent place to stay in Hull! I stayed there for a month, and I could just say good things about Jermaine. The house is nice, in a good and quiet area which is 20 minutes by bus to the center of the town. The room is small, but the furniture is really tasteful and there is a lot of space to keep your things and clothes. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it :)

    María2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay with Jermaine. Good travel links into town and a lovely home to stay in. Highly recommend!!

  • My stay at Jermaine's house during the last few months has been absolutely amazing! The house is lovely and clean, and its position is perfect for university students. Jermaine is a wonderful person, she is open, friendly and helps you in case of need. We had a lot of lovely chats! My stay at Hull wouldn't have been the same without her. And Prince, her little dog, is really cute and calm!

Our lovely house is in quiet street in Hessle, 5 miles from Hull. There's a few restaurants, cafes, shops & a country park by the Humber Bridge. There's regular buses & trains to Hull to visit museums, theatre etc. The large bedroom has a double bed & TV & you are welcome to use rest of house. We have a very good Collie-cross dog who loves visitors & is fine if you needed to bring your dog too (as long as not left in house without you). Self-serve breakfast provided - cereals, toast, fruit etc.
The house is well decorated and maintained in keeping with its Victorian origins so it provides a comfortable and homely place to stay. We love meeting new people and are happy to give advice or information about local amenities, travel or events in the area.
Hessle is a small town with a shopping area, cafes and a few restaurants, a couple of parks and good transport links to Hull. The train station and bus stop are both within walking distance from our house. The Humber Bridge is about 1 mile away and provides great views for pedestrians or cyclists and there is a lovely country park by - good for dog walks! The Wolds Way starts from near the Humber Bridge within walking distance from the house.

Sunny room in safe locationMy place is close to Hull which is City of Culture 2017,also easy access to public transport, handy for parents who are visiting children at Hull University or anyone who has a member of the family in Castle Hill Hospital.
  • Staying with Carole was a pleasure. I felt at home and was able to relax & have a good night of sleep. Her home is very convenient for someone with a family member in Castle Hill Hospital as there is a bus that takes one directly to the hospital. If I had been staying longer I would have explored the local area a little. Carole went out of her way to make my stay easy & comfortable. I actually feel like returning just to visit Carole.

    Melinda2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is my third time staying at Carole’s. Carole is an absolute gem and really does go above and beyond for her guests. She also holds a cracking conversation! This time, although it’s only breakfast included, Carole offered me something to eat out of her own food when I arrived late afternoon. I politely declined as I felt bad considering it was her food and ordered myself a takeout. Carole then offered the same thing again the following day as I had surgery the following afternoon, however I wasn’t overly hungry and just snacked on a few items. Not only did Carole offer this but she also came to pick me up after my surgery to bring me back. On checkout day, she even offered to get a bus with myself as she was travelling to Hull and get off at my the station just to help me carry my suitcase. Honestly I cannot thank this woman or recommend her enough she is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for everything Carole and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

    Jackson2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing host, very thoughtful, place is very cozy and well thought of. She even pocked me up and dropped me of my coach station on a Sunday

    Joyce2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Carole could not have been kinder or more welcoming. A warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean house.

    Marye2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Carole was a fantastic host. I booked her lovely room for my Dad who was visiting the area for a family funeral. His arrival time changed a couple of times due to late running trains and that was no problem at all. A very friendly welcome after a tough day and even a lovely breakfast. My Dad slept like a log in the comfy bed. Would highly recommend Carole's if you are looking for somewhere in the area.

    Jared2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Carole has a beautiful and immaculate home in a very nice part of Cottingham. Carole couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and I had a very happy stay in Cottingham. Thank you so much for being a great host!

  • Felt very looked after, super handy for the hospital

    Teddy2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at her place and found it to be peaceful. She helped me make things easier for my Oral exams at the maritime centre in Beverley. She dropped me in time and eventually I passed my Orals. Most important is that in one day , she made a connection with me and my challenges. She helped in all the possible ways so that i could have give my Oral exams with peace . Carole is a lovely person, and most definitely deserves her Super-host status! The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable Carole has a beautiful house in a superb location -with a nice well maintained Garden quiet and peaceful Excellent host - Beautiful home - superb, quiet location - public transport very close. Absolutely perfect! I can recommend Carole to anyone who wishes to stay near Hull! I will most certainly book with Carole again.

  • A massive thank you to our very kind and generous host, Ruth, who went above and beyond, allowing us to stay with her just before the government lock down. This enabled us to bring an elderly and vulnerable relative back home with us to Scotland. In 2013 our house’s rescue was featured on BBC2's Restoration Home. Once a grand townhouse and home of one of Hull’s greatest philanthropists and fishing fleet owners, Christopher Pickering, the building has been a children’s clinic, flats, even a temporary mortuary during WW2, before falling derelict around the turn of the century then undergoing a complete transformation from 2012. The Restoration is ongoing!
We are close to The Deep, the Marina and Hull’s city centre, as well as walking distance from the KCom Stadium and Hull Fair

  • This is a space operated by a quiet and friendly family who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared for. Their house is unique and the views of their yard are lovely... had a look at all of the great projects they have on the go on the "welcome tour" and they are really on to something. Kitchen is well stocked, bed in my room was very comfy. Hosts are "chill" and easygoing. Thank you Simon and Catherine.

Simon and Catherine made us very welcome and took the trouble to notify their friends and neighbours about the charity walk which we were doing. Very generous assortment of breakfast foods. Good parking availability. All in all interesting, comfortable, friendly and excellent value.

  • The housekeeper was nice and the stay was very smooth. Very detailed answer

    Fan2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at Gill's many times for work - this was the first time I think in more than a year, mainly because she gets booked up very quickly, and I imagine with repeat bookers. Lovely clean room in a quiet household, car parking on the road outside (it's 10 mins from the city centre but only a few minutes walk to bus stops on a main route). Nice touches with tea and coffee left for guests, room in the fridge too in a lovely big kitchen and lovely soft towels and flannel. The place is spotless - the reason I've put down as expected is because I knew what to expect! When staying over in Hull, it's always my first choice for value, cleanliness, comfort and location.

  • Beautiful place Perfect area especially to chill and relax Lovely restaurants around I shall Definitely visit again! The take away shop next door is a little loud banging doors and cars parked in front of our car a lot during the day and night but that’s not your fault and not a massive issue! Thankyou for a great weekend x

    Ellie2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, had a really nice weekend away. Very clean, pretty space right in the town. Responses were very quick and location very convenient (near station and shops). Definitely recommend!

    Lisa2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really quirky and compact accommodation. Loved the facilities, especially the roomy shower and smart TVs. Car parking was tight, due to the length of our car, however, the gentleman who parked his car opposite, opened his gate to allow more room and then parked the car for us, beat that for hospitality/friendliness. Can recommend the pizza place next door, so much choice and food was delicious. My only criticism is that their delivery driver constantly slammed the shop and car door, which did disturb my sleep. Scott was very responsive to messages. The check in and out process was simple. Beverley is such a lovely place, with such friendly people, definitely worth a visit.

    Carolyn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Good central location for Beverley. Pleasant stylish place to stay with your own parking space!

    Emma2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • 2 minutes from the station, right in the middle of the town and a great night's sleep.

    Joe2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • On arrival I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the photos were of the place and how lovely and cosy it was! It was clean and tidy, and Scott had provided a few complementary bits which I thought was a nice touch. Location was great and the bed was very comfortable. Scott was very attentive and responded within minutes if I had any queries. All round a great place! 100% would recommend.

Breakfast included (eggs, toast, cereals, juice & hot drinks), private parking and only 20 minutes walk from the city centre

Lovely pied-a-terre in Hull's bohemian Avenues area, a mecca for foodies with restaurants, cafes and bars in every direction. Leafy, tree-lined streets and splendid Victorian architecture characterise this much-loved part of town and the apartment boasts big rooms with high ceilings and stunning period plasterwork. Feature wallpaper in the beautiful, spacious bedroom complements the king-size four poster, and we like to think the sitting room fuses vintage style with contemporary urban chic.
  • A beautiful flat. Great location. Close to three lively highstreets. Regular buses, less than 10 mins journey to the city centre.

    Holly2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment in a brilliant location! So quiet and yet minutes walk from some fabulous bars and restaurants and only 25 min walk into the old town.

    Jo2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic place to stay in the leafy Avenues area of Hull. The photos do not capture the huge size, nor accurately convey just how stylish it is. I'm a local lad that needed somewhere to stay whilst attending a family event, and will definitely look at booking there again in the future. Great location if you want to hit the bars on Prinny Ave, head into town or even just to have some quiet time to yourself or with your partner. Many thanks!

    Jimi2019-09-08T00:00:00Z

  • Amazing apartment in an excellent location, a short walk from both Newland Avenue and Princes Avenue for the bars and restaurants but in a quiet and safe area. Elizabeth’s property is beautiful, clean and spacious and I would happily visit again.

    Heather2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • The place was gorgeous, even more so than the photos! It was about a 10 min walk to the closest East Yorkshire bus, which was through the beautiful neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable as well!
