We decided to stay in Sturgis because we were going to be hiking in Spearfish Canyon and also around the Mt. Rushmore area and it seemed kind of a "middle" ground. Good choice - Sturgis is close and accessible to Rapid City and Mt. Rushmore and REALLY close to Spearfish and Deadwood. Great little apartment, everything we needed. Nice sized bathroom with a great shower and the kitchenette was very handy for us; we mostly ate our breakfast there. Quiet neighborhood, too; which we appreciated - we're kind of "early to bed, early to rise" travelers. Amber was very welcoming and kind and also helped us out with some restaurant recommendations.

Amber was great to work with & the apartment was perfect for us. It was clean & very well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here & if we are ever in the area - we will stay again!

Amber was a great host! Although we did not get to meet her in person, we had everything we needed. She left the key along with a nice note in the apartment. They also left a cute basket of breakfast goodies and fruit in the refrigerator. Any time I had questions I would simply text her and always got a quick response. We enjoyed our stay! :)

Located in a quiet part of town and a quick walk to all the shops and saloons. This basement studio apt stays nice and cool and has all the amenities you need, including WiFi and Netflix. Amber has given much thought and attention to detail. Cozy and relaxing!

Amber was very pleasant and helpful. the apt was how it was described and pictures were accurate. the neighborhood was quiet and clean close to where we wanted to be.

Amber's place in Sturgis was clean, quiet and comfortable, especially for a traveler who was nearing the end of a long road trip. This space was exactly as it is described and was the perfect place to relax and get a good night's sleep. I wish I'd had more time to get out and enjoy Sturgis - it seems like a great town with lots to do for folks of all ages! Amber was very hospitable and met me right on time to go over the lay of the land. She's a great host and I would highly recommend booking a stay here if you want to explore Sturgis, Deadwood and the northern Black Hills. It's a great location that will let you build some great memories.

Carrie was extremely hospitable and welcoming. She accomidated our late arrival time and had so much information about the area and its highlights. Her house was very cozy and the room was very clean. She provided us breakfast and some snacks for the road. Would highly reccomend, Carrie seemed super nice.

Carrie was really sweet and friendly. She provided various tips on the city and sightseeing opportunities. I felt very welcomed and safe in her home and neighborhood. The room was as described. The bed was comfy and soft. I would totally stay here again!

Carrie was super nice and staying here was so relaxing and perfect. I would definitely stay here again! Carrie goes above and beyond what others do. She makes you feel right at home and is more than happy to chat with you or let you be. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely check to see if her place is available before even considering anything else.

We were in the middle of a cross country trip and the sights had taken us far longer than we planned, putting us in town hours later than anticipated.carrie was incredibly accommodating. We never actually got to meet, but she left is a key and some stacks on the table. The room was clean and came with a binder of local brochures with recommendations from the area. We were welcome to use the washer/dryer and help ourselves to coffee in the morning. It was like being home and a much needed stop in our 8 day driving trip.

Carrie is awesome! Our travel times were horrible for any host and she went out of her way to accommodate us! Her home is like a visit with family & the "extras" made it SO special! The room is comfy & quiet in a nice neighborhood. Perfect for our visit to Rushmore and the Black Hills area. Carrie is a top of the line host and we couldn't have asked for ANYTHING that she didn't already have provided. Amenities, comfort, convenience....all we had to do was show up & it felt like home!!! We will return here should we visit Sturgis in the future.

Carrie was a great host. I was arriving late and she waited up for me. She was warm and welcoming, and provided breakfast materials, juice, and coffee. Exactly what I needed after a long day driving! She also had a prepared info packet about the sights to see in the Black Hills area, which was helpful. I would happily stay with her again.

Carrie's space was very nice and comforting. I enjoyed spending time talking with her while watching television. The bed was comfortable and shower was clean. Breakfast items were provided in the morning. Nice stay overall!

We loved our stay. Location is great for downtown. Nice walk been the neighbors were very welcoming. If we come back next year, I'd stay again.

The host was wonderful. Even showed us a walking shortcut to downtown. It was really close to the main events of downtown. Beds were very comfortable, showers had good water pressure, and since was on city water was able to wash the car without fear of heavy mineral deposits. Host even provided Keurig coffee pods and put ice in the freezer for us. Kitchen was well outfitted. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely utilize this place again.

Ron and his wife were very accommadating. I had a total party of 11 people and we had plenty of room and was very comfortable. Home was very clean and roomy.

We had a really great experience- the house was all we could have asked for while touring the Black Hills area. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet (we were there pre-rally), the house is huge and conveniently located and Ron/Joan provided all the staples we needed. Definitely recommended!

Ron and his wife provided a superb experience in Sturgis. When checking in, Ron showed us throughout the house and pointed how the house was already stocked with some supplies (coffee, whoop!). Further, Ron took the time to describe the town and things to do. They made whole experience as enjoyable as possible. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly answered. If we ever back in Sturgis, we look forward to renting again!

Talk about a wonderful host and a great place to stay; our family was immediately welcomed as soon as we arrived. Ron was fantastic and had everything and more for our stay. I highly recommend anyone who is planing on visiting the surrounding area of Rapid City to at least stay at this house in Sturgis. Jim and Janeen are 5 star hosts! Great people and very hospitable. This was our first Airbnb vacation rental and we found it to be an excellent experience. They were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. Their home was ultra clean, nicely furnished and decorated with plenty of room and comfortable beds. They thought of all the details--from linens to luggage racks!. Their home had all of the amenities and was thoughtfully planned with guests in mind. As a result, our group of 8 stayed very comfortably for the week. Jim and Janeen were always available for questions or anything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the kids loved watching the deer wander by each night. We will definitely check the availability for our next visit and have already recommended it to family and friends should they plan a trip to Sturgis, Spearfish Canyon (our personal favorite), the Black Hills or the any of the nearby National and State parks.

Great spot to use as a home base to explore the Black Hills. Access to the garage was a real plus to keep our bikes safe and dry. Jim was very accommodating and accessible including sharing their favorite eating and sightseeing spots. One of the guys had car trouble and he was even able to recommend a local mechanic. The house was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the amenities you would expect making our shopping easy. We all loved the homemade jam! We would go back.

Carol and Tom were gracious hosts that really went out of their way to accommodate us, even offering to cook us breakfast in the morning :) We met their family and walked around their block. Very peaceful town, making a great stop between our trip to the Badlands and Devil's Tower. Tom also showed us some of their fun toys, including a snow mobile and a walking stick that doubles as a taser.

We stayed at the property only one night. Our host Carol made us feel very welcome. She provided the help we needed and answered all our questions. Her interaction with us was very friendly. She introduced us to her daughter and neighbor. The kitchen facilities, dining and deck were very helpful for our needs. The bedroom felt small in size.

What a great location 5 minutes from downtown Sturgis. Carol was very nice and her home clean and inviting. We didn't stay around long but sure had a great sleep and shower.

Laura and Russ were so very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and soft. The room, shared living areas and bathroom was nice and clean. We would definitely stay with them again!
