Cozy apartment in a traditional wooden house

- A home away from home - Staying in someones home feels more exclusive and different than staying in a hotel. You get to see some of the culture and way of living by staying in a place where personal items are surrounding you. That opens up for mutual respect for other people's things. My home is an apartment in a house from 1960. It's part of North Europe largest village of wood houses. Even though the city life is just outside the door, the street is surprisingly quiet. Designers house beside the baker in oldtown

In a quiet neighborhood by Pedersgata, this gem lies in the middle of an eldorado of eateries. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. The airport bus stops nearby and the boats take you to the fjords with Prekestolen (pulpit rock).

Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read the reviews from past guests. The views are striking, the place is sheltered from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Settle down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can swim in a river with fresh mountain water. Lovely apartment with possibility for free parking a short distance away and central location. Only 5 minutes walking distance from Stavanger city center and all possible transport to all corners of Stavanger and the surrounding area. The apartment is modern with a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom with underfloor heating and a lovely balcony with afternoon sun. Amazing loft apartment downtown Stavanger

The building has been through total renovation in 2017 and the apartment appears brand new. It is situated downtown Stavanger centre, walking distance to all the major sights in the city. There is free parking right outside the building, including free electric car charger outlet. The bus- and train terminal is only 8 minutes walk away, and the main centre with shops and restaurants is an easy 3 minute walk.

Naust by the lake on Sokn, Stavanger

Naustet is brand new and part of the marine environment towards Soknasundet. It's a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat, there is plenty of room for the boat at the pier. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) that has many animals you can visit, and the garden has a 5 km hiking trail.
