American Restaurant

“This small restaurant may require a reservation but it's perfect for a date night if you want something a little higher-end. Incredible dishes and a great cocktail list, you'll fall in love with this place! Rory, the owner, is amazing and keeps the menu updated seasonally. He also co-owns Re:public in SLU!”

“Great BBQ with great options at a great price! After coming here several times, I can confirm that no matter what you order, it will be tasty. This is a high quality barbecue place with offerings that won't burn a hole in your wallet. Everything from the pulled pork, to the chicken, to the personal favorite of brisket are all cooked wonderfully! ”

“Another popular rooftop bar (I personally prefer this one to the others). It can be part indoor/part outdoor. They have blankets for you if you choose to sit outside and it's not that hot. There can be a wait if it's a nice day, so try to arrive when it opens. Pricier food (do not recommend), but a great place to buy a bottle of Rose or get some cocktails. Get a view of South Lake Union and the Amazon campus. ”

Mexican Restaurant

“Another excellent Mexican restaurant, but a little farther away. Located in lower Queen Anne just a ten minute walk from Seattle Center and the Space Needle. The BEST blended margaritas in Seattle, my personal favorite is the spicy mango margarita. Delicious food ranging from steak fajitas to shrimp tacos to fresh salads. A fun, and sometimes loud atmosphere for friends, family, or a date.”

“This place was busy for a Tuesday Happy Hour. We got the fries, cauliflower, duck & rabbit rillettes, and the sliders. The sliders took a little while to come out but they were worth the wait. However, by that point we were already pretty full from all the other stuff, especially the rillettes. Everything was delicious, but special kudos go to the rillettes--it is as tasty as it is beautifully presented, and the portion is VERY generous...we had to ask for more bread to finish it!”

“CC's is a lively, mostly gay male club on Capitol Hill. Go for the good, strong drinks, and the pix of unclad, VGL men on the monitors!”
