SS Speke Shipwreck

In nearby Kitty Miller Bay, you’ll find the rusted bow of the SS Speke shipwreck, which ran aground in 1906 while attempting to pass through the waters of the Bass Strait. Because the vessel is washed up on shore, you can get up close to explore it. The sheltered bay itself is also ideal for a snorkelling trip, and there are many rock pools with starfish and a diverse collection of marine plants.
