  • It was such a pleasure staying at Rachel's charming apartment--while we did not get to spend much time with Rachel face-to-face, she was always accessible and prompt in responding, making us feel incredibly welcomed. This is all to say nothing of her amazing book and poetry collection! Highly recommend for those looking for a cozy enclave in walking distance to much of downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill.

  • This apartment was exactly as described, and was just right for my short stay. Very cozy and comfortable. I would stay there again. Great books. Quiet residential neighborhood yet close to the Capital Hill action.

  • Wonderful place! Clean, really cozy and calm. The appartment has magic and Rachel is a very nice host. I would repeat, for sure!!

    Maria2018-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel's place was the most beautiful and stylish AirBnB I've ever stayed at!

    Rodrigo2018-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • This quirky apartment in a trendy part of Seattle is the perfect base for exploring the city. With a full equipped kitchen, living room and spectacular views over the city from the roof terrace, it proved to be everything we needed and more, with only a half hour walk to downtown. Just bear in mind it can get a bit hot as there is a skylight above the bed, but nothing that can’t be fixed by turning on the fan!

    Alex2019-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel was very accommodating when checking in and out, and her apartment was wonderfully decorated. It was a great spot for us, even with no wifi, since we were primarily sleeping there and out and about for the majority of the trip.

Watch the sun rise from the private balcony or head up to the shared rooftop and admire the city views. This Capitol Hill loft melds a historic facade with a cozy, modern interior and industrial-chic details like the rustic, open-tread stairs.
My loft is located on the top floor of this unique building. The lower floor features a full bathroom, kitchen and living room. The full-height loft sleeps 2 in a queen bed featuring a new Caspar mattress. There is a second queen size bed in the loft as well. While things are tight, everyone sleeps comfortably. There is full size bathroom and walk-in closet. That's 2 full baths for up to 4 people!
Seattle's densest and most diverse neighborhood is full of nightclubs and restaurants at all price points, including bars and clubs for LGBTQIA+, vegans, EDM, and more. The Link Light Rail station is across the street and Cal Anderson Park is nearby.
  • Chasten was a wonderful host - he was extremely responsive, gave really clear instructions, and definitely anticipated our needs. This was one of the most beautiful and well-appointed Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Soft fluffy towels, comfortable bed and linens, well-equipped kitchen - we could not have asked for more. The location was amazing! It was walkable to many restaurants, bars, sights and sounds, but also close to public transport. The rooftop terrace boasted a gorgeous skyline view too! Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on future trips!

    Joanne2017-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is beautiful and to describe the location as vibrant is an understatement. We took advantage of a few recommendations from Chasten, which were very helpful. The loft was comfortable during the down time of our trip and the convenience of shopping and food was an unexpected surprise. I would definitely stay here or at another Chasten property on future visits to Seattle.

  • This is a great place to stay for a short visit to Seattle. It's close to many restaurants and bars, and the Capitol Hill neighborhood is a fun place to explore. It's also only about 25 minutes down hill to the waterfront and attractions like Pike Place Market. We didn't spend much time in the apartment, but we loved the loft style and the kitchen seemed well-equipped. We'd stay here again!

  • Fantastic location in Capitol Hill! Unique loft- modern touches- great owner!

  • This apartment was exactly as advertise. Very trendy apartment in the middle of Capitol Hill. Was perfect for us to visit Seattle. Loved it.

    Cory2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Chasten is a wonderful host, who went above and beyond our expectations in making sure our stay is as good if not better than we had hoped. The location is simply superb. Right in the heart of Capitol Hill with convenient public transportation availability along with high "walkability score". Even though we had a rental car, I would say it was unnecessary if your goal is explore nearby areas. My wife and I are glad to have chosen to stay with Chasten's loft and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Admire modern art throughout a chic loft flooded with natural light courtesy of double height floor-to-ceilings windows. Polished concrete floors, walnut cabinetry, access to a patio and roof deck, and more—enjoy this unique and luxurious retreat.
This building is special. Situated atop an art studio dedicated to large scale works of art, the residences support the mission of Mad Art. One of ten 2-story lofts, this features 750sqft (70 meters square), plus a deck and access to a communal roof deck with BBQ. This luxurious loft designed by Graham Baba is a work of art. Polished concrete floors throughout, walnut cabinetry and built-ins, blackened steel wall accents, exposed steel structure, natural fir ceiling and exquisite bath and kitchen fixtures express a wholly Northwest material palette. WiFi throughout serving WaveG 1GB internet speeds and 4k TV with Amazon Fire TV.
South Lake Union (SLU) is the center of Seattle's tech and biotech industries during the day. Have a relaxed evening at a great boutique restaurant or bar. It's walkable in every direction to Seattle's great destinations including the Space Needle.
  • Chasten's loft in South Lake Union was perfect for my weeklong business trip. It was much better than the usual hotel that I stay in and was very convenient for meetings with Amazon. I used the kitchen to prepare a few meals and was able to watch a few shows on Netflix to unwind at night. He had the bathroom stocked with body wash, facial cleanser, shampoo/conditioner, and it was lovely having laundry onsite for workout clothes. I would highly recommend the loft and will definitely book again in the future.

  • Chasten’s place well and truly exceeded our expectations. It was clean, modern and very stylish. It was also very well located. Chasten was also a perfect host. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

  • Chasten's loft was very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. I highly recommend it for business travelers.

    Peter2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • A truly lovely space with the best amenities. We enjoyed being able to cook in the well equipped kitchen, and to lounge in the living area with tons of light pouring in through the large windows. The amenities were also so thoughtfully prepared, from Kiehl’s products in the bathroom to olive oil and vinegar etc in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Seattle.

    Martha2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment will knock the socks off of any hotel you could find in the city. It's located close to so many different areas of the city and even with our 2 day stay we managed to see so much of the city while never having to trek to far back to the apartment. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't recommend this place enough

    Chris2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful! It’s clean, modern and tidy. Everything is thoughtfully designed and well-thought through. We appreciated the opportunity to stay here! Would definitely recommend again. Chasten is so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. It was a great stay! Thank you!!

This is studio #17 - a private guest room designed as a simple & affordable space for arts-related guests near the heart of Seattle's downtown gallery district. But you don't have to be an artist to stay here - all are welcome!
**Please click on "read more" and read everything below before booking** Our place is a bit unusual and we want to be sure it's a great match for your style of traveling. Please read all details below, plus the house rules so you don't miss anything that might really matter to you once you get here. You'll have this private room all to yourself. It's located among a group of art studios on the second floor of a commercial building. We're in the Japantown area of Seattle's historic International District, a few blocks east of Pioneer Square and the sports stadiums. The bed has a luxurious Novaform queen mattress & very comfortable fresh bedding. We also provide towels, extra pillows & blankets, bath robes, and other amenities. Free wifi and satellite tv w/HBO are included. We recently finished a major remodel of the room, which is why there’s a gap in our reviews. So yes if you've stayed here before this is the same place, but even better! There's only one guest room now, and the guest bathroom is now private, just for you. ~~~~~~~~~ important notes: • There's a private bathroom with keypad entry just outside the room dedicated only for our guests. You'll need to step out into the hallway to reach the bathroom, but it's just a few feet away. • This is not a room in an apartment building - the other rooms on the floor are artist work spaces. The room is quiet and the artists don't live here. • The room has a skylight, and no other windows. It has a mini-split hvac unit for air conditioning & heat. There's also a ventilation exhaust fan on the ceiling which will clear out stale air and draw in fresh air from the hallway as needed. • There is a long flight of stairs to get up to our floor (no elevator). • Our listing is a little unusual and we want to be sure it's going to meet your needs before you choose to book it. Please send us a note with the secret code word TEDDY (that's our dog) - this will let us know you hung in there and read the whole thing. • Also before booking make sure your user i.d. profile is complete, including a good clear photo of you. It helps with security in our building to be able to identify guests. Thank you!
This is a fun & interesting international neighborhood with lots of quirky shops and tons of food choices - including a great sushi restaurant right in our building. There's quick take-out to high end, and everything in between. Uwajimaya Asian specialty supermarket is close by, plus coffee shops & bakeries - you won't go hungry in this neighborhood! • Check our online Guidebook to see all the great restaurants & attractions we've bookmarked in our neighborhood. We also have a guidebook in the room when you arrive with some of our favorite spots nearby for food, plus maps and other details. • We're just a few blocks from the baseball & soccer/football stadiums. There are many bars and clubs within walking distance, and even more just a quick bus ride away. Since the building is right downtown you can also easily visit the Seattle Art Museum, Sculpture Park, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and many other great Seattle attractions. • Please note that we're right next to the Pioneer Square neighborhood, which tends to have some homeless people on the streets. Along with the conveniences of being right downtown - great public transportation & cool places to visit - this is city life and we don't recommend walking around by yourself late at night.
  • Dirk and Jaq's loft was a sweet little spot for a rest between airplanes and ferries. An easy walk from the light rail, and through a secure entry up a wide set of stairs, the first thing we noticed was how much light there was in the interior of the building. The loft was bright and airy with comfortable modern furnishings. The bedroom is a platform loft built into the middle of the space with a very comfortable bed beneath the large skylight. We arrived just in time for Art Walk, and visited Dirk in his gallery on the street level of the building. Dirk was extremely helpful as we wandered off to explore the neighborhood. Nearby we found good beer in a casual environment, a sweet community garden that seemed to go on forever, and an easy walk to Pike Place and the ferry beyond. Definitely recommend... it would be fun to stay here again with more time to explore.

  • Great, clean, quiet loft space located a couple blocks from the train station. Extremely clean and accessible. There was even a selection of charging cables and an emergency phone. Just as described and I'd stay again without hesitation.

  • Great place, comfortable and clean, in a convenient location. Quiet inside the room. A great value.

  • My friend Jackson and I were visiting Seattle for 4 days/3 nights and we had an awesome experience. The loft is located in the international district within walking distance to delicious restaurants, public transportation, banks, and a large grocery store. My friend and I were able to walk 20 minutes to Pike Place Market which was a gorgeous walk through downtown. The loft and the building itself are very well kept and beautiful. We felt very comfortable coming back to our accommodations after a long day of exploring the city. The skylight above the loft where the bed is located provided the room with great natural lighting that was pleasant to wake up to every morning. The shared common spaces (kitchen and restroom) were well equipped with anything we needed for our stay. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back for my next Seattle visit!

  • Had such a great time in Vancouver! The apt was in a great location, friendly hosts, allowed us to do laundry and store some food in their pantry. Highly recommend!

    Carissa2015-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This space was perfect! Loved staying here. Walkable distance to downtown Seattle and public transit to the SeaTac airport. Flatstick Pub is just down the street- highly recommend! Thank you for an amazing stay, it was a great end to our Seattle trip.

    Kaitlin2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, will certainly stay there again. We could comfortably live in this place. The location is great and a very short walk from the streetcar, light rail, Union Station, and Pronto bikes. Great sushi downstairs, and Good Bar is a great bar nearby. The bed was cozy, check in was logical, and all the amenities were clearly described. This is an example of why I continue to use AirBnB.

Located in the heart of historic Pioneer Square, where local coffee shops and award-winning restaurants literally sit below you. Walking distance from Pike Place Market and downtown. Short cab ride to The Space Needle. 5min walk to waterfront and ferry terminal to Bainbridge & Vashon island. Guests 21yrs and up.
Respectable adult guests only. No pets, parties or smoking. Also, walking up and down the the fire escape is prohibited
I love the old brick buildings and romance of Pioneer Square. This is sort of where Seattle all began and it's so unique to any of the other Seattle neighborhoods. It used to be a more shady neighborhood but has recently become a rather shi-shi area, with several modern restaurants and apartments/condos. The vibe is adult, artistic, hip and friendly. There is a range of bars and restaurants from divey, to fancy fireplace and cocktails-- most of which boast exposed brick and high ceilings. Pioneer Square is also close to the sports stadiums so you can experience the high energy on game-days, of the game-goers. Also, near the water, it is a step away from the ferry terminals (including the Victoria Clipper-- routinely going to and from Canada for day trips). Basically, it is the greatest place to stay when visiting Seattle, whether it's your first time or routine visit.
  • A winner for those who appreciate great quality and Pioneer Square history. Would stay here again! Apartment is fully equipped.

    Betty Ann2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very unique, had an amazing stay!

    Carly2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • The history behind Pioneer Square and these haunted lofts is cool enough as it is and then you step foot into the loft and can’t help but feel blown away by its beauty. The upstairs loft, the wood floors and brick walls. The design... it’s all so unreal. Providing you with the perfect Instagram post. Make sure you check out the alley/sky scraper view from the fire escape. Unbeatable. Just make sure not to close the door or you can get locked out. The walls seem paper thin. You can hear every little noise, but Leela provides you with ear plugs. Funny enough, I usually wear ear plugs at home, but opted out in the loft and seemed to sleep better with the subtle noises of the city.

    Rachel2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Leela is a great host. The place is exactly as advertised and well accommodated. Would highly recommend!

  • Don’t pass on this place. Great host and a great place.

  • Great Space, fantastic location, super value.

    Terry2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great location and a great host. We relaxed and walked downtown and cooked. Damn the Weather, which is literally RIGHT THERE, was tasty and friendly. Garbage trucks and upstairs neighbors were slightly noisy, but Leela provided ear plugs on the nightstand. It's kinda like NYC but on the West Coast. Planning our next staycation. #superhost

    Linda2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot and definitely recommend :) Leela thoughtfully left several new pairs of earplugs by the bed (it gets really loud in the alley by the apartment at night) which we really appreciated. The rest of the building was quiet and the apartment was spacious and beautiful! Thanks Leela!

Vintage Pioneer Square Loft in the heart of old Seattle. Very lively neighborhood with plenty of history. One block from the water front. Great place to enjoy the city.
Is a very large open space with a loft area. Main bed is under the loft with a separate space above.
The neighborhood is lively. Keep in mind that this is the oldest part of Seattle. It would be Some days the place would be equivalent to the Tenderloin district in SFO
  • The location is perfect! Space makes you never want to leave! Will try to book again when i’m in Seattle!

  • Great location!

    Greg2018-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • You really can’t beat the location of this place. I thought it was great, and wasn’t too disturbed by noise from the street. The loft was unique and beds were comfortable. WiFi worked well, and linens/bathroom were clean. Compared to other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in, the quality of this apartment was a bit lower. I was visiting Seattle with my aunt who has mobility issues and it was slightly problematic when the building’s elevator went out of service for more than half our stay. There is a spot on the floor where it sags under your weight when you step on it, as well. The space could use more/brighter lighting — maybe it was just us but we had trouble figuring out how to turn lights off and on. Overall a good stay, but as this is a newer unit I think there are a few kinks to work out.

This open plan large light-filled one bedroom apartment is the top floor of a 1903 built triplex on the top of Capitol Hill. Gorgeous 180 degree views of downtown Seattle, the Olympic Mountains, and south of the city.
This unusual apartment occupies two levels, with the entryway and bedroom on the lower level (the second floor up from the street), and the living, kitchen, and bath on the next level up (third floor up from the street). The bedroom is not closed off from the rest of the apartment (open plan). This space is good for up to four guests for shorter stays (under one week), and up to two guests for stays longer than a week. The bedroom has a queen size regular bed. The sofa in the upper level opens out into a full size sofa bed. There are two balconies, with one looking south (from the kitchen), and the other opening with French doors from the living room facing west (towards the ever-changing crane-filled downtown skyline, and Olympic Mountains). This lovely apartment features two separate balconies, a gas fireplace, and fir and oak parquet floors. Sip your morning brew alfresco and watch the hummingbirds on your private rooftop mini-garden. The kitchen has a gas stove and all the dishes and equipment you need for cooking meals at home. Watch movies or listen to music in the comfortable living area. The very small bathroom has a shower (no tub), toilet and sink and room for one person.
This is an urban neighborhood. Our house is located at 14th and Union in Seattle's Capitol Hill District. We are within walking distance of the Pike/Pine and Broadway shopping areas where you may find restaurants, nightclubs, bookshops, antique dealers, theatres, galleries, and many other businesses (including the city's first legal pot shop just down the street). The natural foods co-op is three blocks away from our front door. Capitol Hill is home to the beautiful Olmsted Legacy Volunteer Park (and Seattle Asian Art Museum), Cal Anderson Park, and is a great walking neighborhood. Capitol Hill is the most urban and diverse of Seattle's neighborhoods and is home to a large gay and lesbian population. We are very close to Seattle Central College, Seattle University, Swedish Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente Hospital. We are about a mile, or a 20 minute walk, from the Washington State Convention Center. You can get to the University of Washington (Husky Stadium) by walking to the light rail (10 minutes), then taking a 4 minute light rail ride. We are located about twenty-thirty minutes from downtown on foot or ten minutes by car.
  • A few years ago I lived directly across the street from this, and I enjoyed the view and the neighborhood immensely. I wondered about this place, and this trip I was thrilled to stay there a few nights. If you want to experience the bustle of Pike/Pine and Capitol Hill while retreating to enjoy great views of the city and the mountains, this is the place.

  • Amy was great to deal with - kind, prompt to respond, and very welcoming. The apartment is in a great location, near many great restaurants and bars. And, as mentioned, the views really are great from the living / dining area. The only word of caution would be for someone who struggles with stairs -- the bedroom is separated from the living / dining / bathroom by a fairly steep flight of stairs. All in all, though, a fantastic space and really top-notch hosts.

    Justin2015-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Sean's place was perfectly located to walk to coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, and even downtown! The view was incredible, and Amy and Sean provide lots of helpful tips on where to go, what to see, and how to get around Seattle. We got very lucky with some nice weather while we were in town, and sitting on the balcony with its view of Seattle was awesome! Would definitely stay again!

  • A spacious two story apt. Sees a complete skyline of Seattle and the Olympic mt peaks. Great location, in the capitol hill area, bars, restaurants. Really clean floor, and a cozy heating fire place when it is cold. Also some very friendly cats around the house.

  • We had a great week at Amy and Sean's place. I can tell you that there was not a problem all week. We did have a couple requests and Amy was very quick to take care of what we needed. As for the space itself, it was comfortable and just as pictured. Great view of the city skyline, especially at night.

In the heart of Capitol Hill our apt is near Pikes Place, Amazon HQ and Convention Center. Surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants and of nightlife this is a great spot for anyone visiting Seattle! The building has a great rooftop deck! Check out the recommendations in our house manual - "get lost" tour & "guide to local breweries" tour. Keep in mind we are in a very lively neighborhood and you will get street noise.
Bright, open layout with floor to roof window & view of Mt. Rainier. Full bathroom & loft sleeping area with a kitchen that is the perfect for 2 and has all the basics including fresh local coffee. The building is brand new! I am a minimalist and travel quite a bit so I try to keep my personal left in the apartment to a minimum.
Capitol Hill is vibrant, lively with endless choices of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, speakeasy, pinball arcade bar and other activities. Our building is located right in the middle of all the action and walking distance to just about anywhere you would want to go in downtown Seattle. We are in a great location if you are looking to go to Century Link Field, Safeco Field, Experience Music Project, Seattle Center, or Lake Union. We are also only a few blocks from the Seattle Convention Center. We love the people and the bustle of our neighborhood. Its also nice to have an apt. that does not let in the noise of the city. Full, local market accross the street!
  • Really need to improve the air circulation, otherwise it would be steamed during the night

  • Great place to stay for my first time in Seattle. Personally I loved the neighborhood it's lovely, colorful and near to all the fun goings on the Cap Hill has to offer. Devin is a great host. He checked in with me a couple times during my 5 day stay to see if I needed anything. The place itself is cool, neat and tidy little apt good for one or a couple to stay at. Would stay there again for sure!

    Gregor2016-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Devin is a great communicator with an awesome place! We had a great time!

    Rhea2017-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Devin's place is perfect for a lone traveler or an adventurous couple. It is conveniently located. There are many eateries, bus routes, and points of interest within walking distance. The loft is really cool and spatially interesting. It is a cozy place to return to at night, and the bed is comfortable. Keep in mind that climbing up and down from the loft bed is a little tricky and takes some getting used to. Also, parking can be a bit of a nuisance to find. Although parking is seemingly a problem in all of Seattle. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Devin's loft and would recommend it to friends and family.

    Rishi2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • A great space in a nice location. Devin was always quick to respond.

    Auriol2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Very walkable to everything in cap hill. Small but expected for an apartment in the heart of Capitol Hill. Overall great experience!

    Susie2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Devin was a great host! He was responsive and accommodating. As the for place, I'd say it's cozy and comfortable. The bed is amazing, and I enjoyed the minimalistic nature of the place. The area had great food, and I loved how I could walk to places in Seattle.

Welcome to Ballard! Stay in our new first floor studio & art gallery, blocks from the locks and Golden Gardens beach. Rotating selection of art by local artists. This is not a hotel; you'll hear us like apartment neighbors. Adjacent to Sunset Hill Market, Ristorante Picolino and Samara restaurant. A few blocks to buses, pub, restaurants and 12 blocks to downtown Ballard. Private key-code entry, loft bed, smart t.v. , full bath, mini fridge and coffee stand; no kitchen.
See those mountains from your bed? Those are Olympics floating over Puget Sound =) Spend the night beside drawings, photos and other art. NOTE: The art changes quarterly; these photos show a selection of offerings but THE ART MAY DIFFER. In fact, that's the exciting thing about this space! you'll stay with a unique collection of PNW art. And of course the rest of our lovely neighborhood. Walk straight down the street to a secret beach. Enjoy a cafe, two restaurants, a grocery, a bar right on the corner. The loft is a perfect fit for active travelers looking to enjoy Ballard, an artsy neighborhood on the water. The studio is sparsely furnished. The space isn’t appropriate for kids as there are beautiful fragile sculptures around.
The views, the coffee, the beach! We hold rotating art shows - ask us about particular artists. Check out Picolino's for a croissant, latte or Italian dinner. Samara restaurant on the corner offers fancy wood-fired fair. Un Bien, famous sandwich spot, is just 10 blocks away. The Tractor Tavern in downtown Ballard has great shows. Ray's Boathouse offers classy seafood. Try 8 oz burger on Market for a beer and burger.
  • Stylish place in a quiet and safe location.

  • Kascha’s place was clean, in a nice location and was filled with interesting art work. My partner and I enjoyed our stay there very much.

    An2018-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice side street just far enough from the bars that it's quiet and calm. Easy parking. Cool studio and spacious. Local art on the walls. My favorite art piece was the one with the Vermins. :)

    Alex2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Location a bit far from center of Seattle but as we drove, everything was just 15-20 min away, even to the major spots like Pike Place Market, Seattle Centre, etc. A bit worried at the beginning as it’s on street level but turned out the neighborhood was pretty quiet and safe hence the two night stay was pleasant. The experience of climbing ups and downs the ladder was fun but not recommended for travelers with kids. John and Kascha are both artists and they have put up some students’ works on the wall to lighten up the artistic atmosphere which I like the most!

    Esther2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed staying at Kascha's place. Very clean, easy parking, cute decor, great communication. As described, you can hear noises from above pretty easily, but the hosts honored quiet hours so this wasn't a problem. I would stay again.

    Katy2017-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place in Ballard. We were there for less than 24 hours, but loved the art and location. Well within walking distance to the beach, locks, and cafes. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quieter place in Ballard.

    Robert2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Really clean space- it’s a bit smaller than I thought when viewing the original pictures but nothing you can’t sustain by keeping the place clean. Great location that’s nearby everything but far enough for it to be very peaceful as well.

    Cassandra2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is exactly what we expected and the space has tasteful peices of artwork. Kascha is one call away with any questions. I would definitely recommend!

Nestled between Capitol Hill nightlife, the international district, adjacent to downtown, & surrounded by restaurants, this apartment is the best spot to explore Seattle or settle down for a month. A LEED Platinum building, it's a small loft of 340sf, furnished with a king bed & futon in the loft & a fold-out queen below. Complete with essentials like towels, hair products, and hairdryer. Wifi, microwave, fridge, hotplate. The building is about ecological urban living in the heart of Seattle.
This clean simple 5th floor(no elevator) ergonomic 340 sqft (32sqm) Studio Loft, is all about minimalism and sustainability in an urban location and at an affordable price. I do my best to conserve on water, energy and to reduce waste through composting and recycling. So please help out by placing your trash and recyclables under the sink, you'll also find a composting bag tied to the sink drain. Furnished with a King bed, fold out queen mattress sofa, plus an additional futon in the loft that can also be turned into a bed. It's on the fifth floor, so be ready to walk up some stairs. Things you should know -there is only one sink and the kitchen is what you see in the photos. Set up with a hot plate and some basic cooking utensils. If you plan on cooking a lot, let me know and I can set you up with more kitchen gear. -Must climb stairs, the building does not have an elevator 5th floor apartment -strict quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, it’s just not the best sound insulated building. So I have to in-force this. -What it means to be eco, first it starts with a Leed platinum construction. Solar assisted heating and energy production, Rainwater capture, a goal of zero plastic waste(not there yet), reusability as in for instance besides toilet paper we don't use paper towels but rather washable cotton hand towels and low water wash eco bath towels. Everything that can be recycled or composted is, I'd appreciate your help in this by placing these disposable items under the sink in the correct spot eg compost, recycling & trash bags found there.
The place is next to Seattle University. I use the track to run in the mornings. Location is in the Capitol Hill/First Hill neighborhood, which has lots of great restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment. The apartment is a 20-minute walk from downtown (Pike Place Market) and is centrally located in Seattle so it is a quick trip to visit Queen Anne, South Lake Union, etc. If you like museums, the apartment is close to the Frye Art Museum which has no entry fee.
  • As noted in other reviews, the five floor walk-up is a work out with heavy bags.

    Thomas2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Magic was truly magical! The loft layout was so fun and unique, and unlike any Airbnb I'd ever stayed in. It also felt incredibly safe. I was a big fan of the lock-code system, which was easy to use and very secure. It was clean, comfortable, and easily slept all 5 of us. Overall the experience was wonderful, and I will definitely be staying there again!

    Samantha2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome loft ! My boyfriend and I loved staying in this neat space. The location was perfect, short walking distance to everything we needed and a few fun bars. Great air b n b experience!

  • Great place. Clean, stylish, fun. Magic always answered any questions we had very quickly. Parking was a little annoying though but location was good.

  • If you are looking for an inexpensive alt to the upperclass high rise hotels, or condos but still in same area. This unit which is eco friendly, def your place. It was last min for me but would’ve booked even if not. Cool layout and nice central location. The lack of indoor amenities like tv/cable so forth is to make you get out and enjoy this city.

    Jeffrey2018-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Looks exactly the same as the pictures and is in a great location. Great for nightlife, food and adventures! Would recommend to anyone only downside is the stairs to get to the apartment is a little tiring lol

    Comfortable space in Seattle
Comfortable Upscale Living. Unit includes kitchenette, bathroom, laundry on floor, Queen Size Bed, TV, cable, internet and more.
  • This place was amazing! Perfect location to attractions we wanted to be next to- space Needle, chihuly garden, pop museum and Pike place. We opted not to rent a car during our stay in Seattle and this place made it easily accessible to walk to the attractions/restaurants we had bookmarked on yelp. Pictures are true in representing how cute and modern this space is. Matt's communication with directions and information was detailed and helpful. I would recommend this place to any couple visiting Seattle!

    Megan2019-04-22T00:00:00Z

    Evan2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • What we loved most about this location is how easy we walked to EVERYTHING! We were here for 3 days and really got to experience Seattle and walked all over. Truly the perfect location for us. The bed is comfortable and its cozy.

  • Great location, lovely apartment. Good communication. Would recommend

    Rebecca2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Was actually pretty disappointed with this place. When we first arrived we were given one address, we were within a few minutes of that place when I got another text with a completely different address on the other side of town. We went there only to be told that was wrong and go all the way back to where we went before. My biggest issue was the cleanliness. There was hair EVERYWHERE. It was so gross and not only that but there were stains ALL over the comforter and bedding. I literally had to wear shoes around or brush my socks off before I got onto the bed. There was no way to clean this hair because there wasn't a broom or a vacuum. Also we didn't want to have to pay to wash the bedding before we even used it. There were also 0 trash bags in the entire place. The descriptions say a space needle view but we were not on that side which was a little let down. Lastly, I knew there would be no air conditioning but I figured there would be at least a little fan, the room got upwards of 85 degrees during the day, like I said it would have been nice to know these things ahead of time for the amount of money we spent. Overall, I felt pretty grossed out.

    Ashtin2019-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beware the misstated description of this tiny overpriced studio

    Lee2019-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • It's a small cozy studio near everything downtown.

    Stephanie2019-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for a few days to visit a friend and explore the city. We found the location perfect for sight seeing and getting around to local cafes and restaurants. Walking around the city is fairly easy from here. The room itself was small but perfect for our needs since we weren't spending much time there during the day. I'd highly recommend staying here and I look forward to coming back next time we're in Seattle.

The location of this studio is only a few minutes away from Capitol Hill, First Hill and Downtown Seattle. Very close walking distance to Seattle transit, the rail station.
  • Great location with good restaurants nearby. Stairs were very steep but the space works great for a couple days if you’re not planning to cook.

  • Amazing loft thanks

    Sherihan2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • The photos provided are inaccurate. There was no couch, or stairs that led to the bed. The space was very cramped. For the amount of money paid, it was not worth it. I tried contacting the host through message and phone, but till now have not replied. I would suggest finding a different place.

    Michael2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Was very fair price

    Elliot2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Alright location just they are so small and cheap

    Andrew2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is extraordinarily clean and new, in a modern apartment building. It is sparsely furnished: no place to put or hang clothes or luggage. The mattress is decent, but the shades do nothing to block out the lights that shine thru the windows all night long. The stairs are abnormally steep and narrow. The bath towels are tiny. The futon (couch) is uncomfortable, and the "coffee table" is an end table. It was great to have a microwave, dishes, and refrigerator. On the last night (of 3) the thermostat seemingly stopped working, and we woke up cold. The gym is locked, so we were not able to use it. I was never able to find the laundry facilities. The complex itself feels very safe. The neighborhood is walkable, near Seattle U, a nice market up Yesler, and a great coffee shop on Cherry St. For the low price, this place was a fantastic value, as long as you're able to adapt to some missing comforts.

    Ryan2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • The place was perfect location wise especially if you’re not planning to stay there and explore more. Prime location honestly.. if you’re fine with walking, 30 min walk to pikes market or 12 min lime bike right. But, the pictures aren’t the greatest. Stairs are way too steep, communication absolutely sucked, never really got responses, had to bother the host to get the second key that gave us access to everything else, you may have access to the community kitchen but no utensils for it. There’s no working ac or heat so you have a space heater that you had to continuously move up and down stairs. Neighborhood was safe overall, gated complex, we had a blast regardless of anything.

    Marisa2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was adorable! Just enough room for three friends who don't mind being in close quarters. The towels were rather small, and the main heater didn't work, but everything was very clean and the apartment held heat from the space heater well enough. Lots of windows and a comfortable space! Quick 10 minute Uber to Pike's Place, 15 minute walk to lots of great restaurants and bars. All around, a great visit!

A brand new, Air Conditioned, guest studio just a few minutes walk away from Greenlake, Phinney Ridge, and Greenwood. The rental is open, bright, airy, clean and makes a perfect home base for exploring Seattle. We think you'll find yourself right at home!
You have a completely private entrance via Key-Code door. The studio has an open concept kitchen, a NanaWall window/door that opens onto your private balcony. A full bath and queen bedroom in loft space accessed by ladder.
We are centrally located between 3 unique Seattle neighborhoods (5 minute walk to each). A few blocks to our East lies Seattle's Green Lake park/neighborhood. The lake has a 2.7 mile paved loop trail that is great for jogging and biking. There are a number of restaurants, bars and coffee shops at the North end of the lake 3 blocks up the hill lies Phinney Ridge. There are a number of great dining and boutique shopping options. Walk a few blocks to our NorthWest and you'll be right in the heart of Greenwood. There are a number of new bars and restaurants here. The neighborhood is gentrifying and this is the most lively option in the evenings.
  • Heather and Eli were very quick responding and thoughtful. If we had any issues they were quickly fixed. The ladder to the loft bedroom is not the most ideal situation. Netflix was great, there are board games, fully stocked bathroom and kitchen. Patio/balcony are very nice as well.

    Julia2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Eli and Heather’s place was out of this world! Beautiful design, new everything, and super clean. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Adorable neighborhood with lots of amazing spots. We will absolutely be back!

  • This is one of my favorite nests in Seattle. It is located within a short walk to Greenlake, great food and with a beautiful kitchen, you can pick up local ingredients and make your own. It is a joy to stay in this beautiful space.

    Jennifer2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, well-appointed, and very clean. I loved that the space was both easy to access and private. And the neighborhood is beautiful and walkable!

    Carrie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Eli and Heather’s place is a special little place in a good location. It was nice to be able to take the bus directly downtown from the near by bus stop. Green Lake is a great place for talking a walk/run around. PCC supermarket is close by, walkable. The balcony off the kitchen was great ! Recommend the place for solo travelers and/or couples. The ladder might not be the best situation for older people.

    Michelle2019-08-07T00:00:00Z

Bask in the vintage charm of this remodeled loft in a 1918 Craftsman home boasting dark wood floors and exposed brick walls. Lounge on the private balcony with a cup of tea and soak up the views of Downtown before taking a stroll into Wallingford.
The loft is cozy and private with it's own balcony and rooftop deck featuring great views of the city. Inside the loft you can also enjoy the Seattle skyline while you explore the many ways to get comfy. Perfect for 2 guests, but with the pull-out couch there is plenty of space for 4. The queen bed is new and the couch pulls out into a queen size bed as well. We have free wi-fi and cable TV including all paid cable channels. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge/ freezer, and Keurig coffee maker with a variety of hot beverage options available. Enjoy the convenience of keyless entry (no need to manage keys)! We would like to inform everyone that the loft is up a flight of stairs with vaulted ceilings, but we have had people stay who were over 6'3" tall with no complaints. The rental comes with free residential street parking. We take pride in the charm and ambiance provided with our Cozy Loft with Downtown Views and hope you enjoy the stay.
The loft is in a walkable neighborhood on the border of the University District close to the University of Washington, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, movie theaters, and the Burke-Gilman trail. It's a 10-minute drive from Downtown.
  • Super cute and cozy little loft! Host were amazing and so nice! Would definitely recommend this!

  • My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at Julie and Dan's Seattle loft. We were about 15 minutes from downtown and walking distance from many great restaurants and bars. The loft was so clean, beautifully decorated and had the most comfortable bedding. Julie and Dan were extremely accommodating when we needed to drop off our luggage a few hours early, and were super responsive with their communication. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area!

  • Great space in a convenient location. Close enough to the heart of Seattle but far enough to be pretty peaceful at night. Cozy and comfortable like a perfect hotel room, without having to be in a hotel. Everything you need in a home base for exploring Seattle.

  • Great time! Very close to UW, which has a lot to offer in terms of food, events, etc.

    Michael2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint top floor of a house with a great balcony right off the highway- noise was buffered and did not disturb us during our stay. Close to a bus stop that provided access to downtown Seattle and a short walk to UW. I loved how the place was decorated- very stylish.

  • We were traveling as a family of 7 and this home worked perfectly for us. The home is located just a block from our son’s apartment and restaurants, shopping and more were very walkable. We so appreciated all the little touches added to make us feel welcome. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped, the beds comfy and the space worked perfect for our family to hang out together. Easy access to downtown via a 15 minute Uber ride made it easy to explore Seattle. Dan & Julie made sure check in went smoothly and we had everything we needed during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home.

The apartment is a 15-minute walk from downtown (Pike Place Market) and is centrally located in Seattle so it is a quick trip to visit Queen Anne, South Lake Union etc. If you like museums, the apartment is close to the Frye Art Museum which has no entry fee.
  • Magic’s place was a breeze to check into and a pleasure to stay at! The listing does a great job describing the space; it was actually more spacious than we anticipated for an eco-loft! The location was perfect for exploring the city. Plenty of great eateries and attractions within walking distance and also very convenient to public transit for getting right into downtown. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Seattle.

    Heather2019-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Magic's place is awesome. Great location, perfect for a weekend getaway. His recommendations are also very helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone interested!

  • Magic responds very quickly and communicates well

    Christina2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Magic was extremely responsive to all questions we had. The apartment was exactly as described. Perfect for a quick one night in Seattle for 4 of us. Location was great-a short lyft ride, walk, or public transportation nearby to get you anywhere.

    Melissa2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • It is a perfect place for a group of young people to stay!!!

    Vincent2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience for a short stay. I enjoyed the steep climb of the ladder to the bed. It was very refreshingly simple with just the right amount of space and amenities.

    Gerard2019-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A nice and affordable way to stay in Seattle with a group. The ladder to the loft is daunting, potentially even scary, but hey, that’s big city living for you. Magic is a great communicator.

Fabulous, romantic, sumptuous owner 's loft with curtained canopy king bed and cozy bed warmer, ear plugs and sleep machine. Located in the heart of historic neighborhood with the best restaurants, art galleries. walking distance to Public Market and stadiums. 14’ ceiling, brick walls, full kitchen, bath, smart TV , w/d in unit Huge window facing historic 1st Avenue for great people watching and taking in the lively hub-bub of Pioneer Square. A unique loft, unlike anything in Seattle.
Recently remodelled, 780 square foot open loft with 14 foot ceiling and brick walls. Dramatic arched window fills the west wall and opens onto First Avenue. As seen in Seattle Magazine issue 2/2016. Don't miss the Seattle Underground Tour to hear about the colorful history of Pioneer Square.
The loft is in the heart of historic, vibrant Pioneer Square, which is full of museums, art galleries, hosts of restaurants, bars, and shops. Walk or take a free shuttle to the famous Public Market, stadiums, the waterfront, and Seattle Center.
  • Bonnie's place was beautiful and spacious, looks just like the photos. It's in an ideal location, close enough to walk around in the Pioneer Square area. Everything you can think of was provided, the bottle of bubbly was a nice touch! I appreciate how responsive Bonnie was, her thorough instructions, and her list of recommendations for the Seattle area. Only downside I experienced was the loud noise outside the building. While I wasn't bothered by the music playing downstairs/next door... I could hear all the noises happening right outside the window. Unfortunately the window leaves a small gap even when you try to close it all the way. Bonnie provides earplugs, but this is just something to note for you light-sleepers. I typically sleep pretty soundly at night but I found it to be an issue for me. Other than that, I would recommend this spot for your traveling needs.

    Kelly2019-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • The place is absolutely amazing (large with an incredibly comfy bed), the location is perfect (right in the heart of Pioneer Square) and Bonnie herself is incredibly helpful (among other things, she helped us choose between Victoria, San Juan and Bainbridge islands for a day excursion and Dean told us about Flatstick Pub, which was a very fun time). We could not have asked for a better AirBnB and host for our Seattle vacation. Finally, I know other reviews mentioned some noise seeping through from the downstairs bar so I wanted to mention that both my fiancee and I did not have any trouble sleeping at night. Thanks again, Bonnie!!

    Mike2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Everything I had hoped for and more! Really beautiful and cozy space to get back to at the end of a long day of exploring! Central to a lot of things! We walked everywhere. Thank you so much Bonnie!!

    Erin2019-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Bonnie and Dean beautiful loft was great, the place is just as shown on the pictures and the bed and couch are probably more comfy than our own. It's neat and very clean, we felt just at home. Like said before by other guests, its very central location makes it lively in the evening. You are in the heart of the city and so there is some noise. I would recommend to take earplug if you have trouble sleeping. Overall the loft was just what we needed, a comfy and central place to explore Seattle.

    Pamela2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bonnie and Dean are amazing hosts! I asked for a few small things like fresh flowers and fruit, provided a budget and they made it work. It was a fantastic stay, in a great location, in a beautiful loft, that gave us access to the whole city. Getting in and out was easy and parking was ample (as long as you're prepared to pay the garage fees for a bit of security). The location was surrounded by the most recommended bars and restaurants in the city. Even the neighbors in the building were polite and kind. If you want to a great stay, a bit of city life, and a fantastic host who will go out of their way to make you happy, stay here, I cannot advise it enough.

    Nick2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and stylish place! Romantic for couples and in a great location for city night life!! There is a lot of street noise but it was no problem and expected for us! great set up!

    Charley2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • The loft is lovely and so comfortable. Lots of nice amenities like robes and snacks and good coffee. Nice dishes and thick towels. Others mentioned some street noise but it didn't bother us at all. We love the neighborhood restaurants and bars. Great shopping too.

    Cynthia2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • I love the neighborhood ! Pioneer Square is just beautiful with a lot of nice cafe's and shops! The loft is very beautiful and nice to enjoy some luxury! We loved to stay in the loft and just enjoyed the atmosphere! It really can be noisy in the night, so if you are sensitive for noise it's probably not the right place but for me it was totally fine! I kinda liked to hear the night life noises and the typical city vibe ! I would recommend this place if you wanna spend a weekend with special feelings ( In a good way)

** PLEASE READ LISTING CAREFULLY! I'm happy to welcome gentle, quiet and respectful travelers to my unique home! Important: Our community closely monitors Airbnbs for noise, unregistered guests and parties. ** Only BOOKED guests allowed on the property (unless prior notice is given to me). ** Home must be left as TIDY as you found it so we can efficiently clean. ** Only quiet, family-level noise is acceptable. This a home, not a hotel.
I love my 5-story loft townhome! This is a fun urban Seattle experience right on the outskirts of downtown. My loft is an open, 5-level, "built green", industrial home with worn floorboards of recycled HDF, one shower that's a "wet room", and solar heating/hot water. FLOOR 5 Top floor is the master with a queen bed and a stunning balcony view of the Olympic Mountains and downtown. The master bath has a soaking tub and a roomy shower. FLOOR 4 This bedroom has a twin and a double bed. This is the only sleeping area with a door. This floor has the "wet room" shower (the entire bathroom *is* the shower.) FLOOR 3 Large living area with a mid-century La Vele convertible sofa/sleeper. I usually set up a comfy cot on this floor. Adjacent to the living area is the large kitchen. Also on this level is a dining table, large TV, and the other sofa. FLOOR 2 This is the industrial "landing area nook" listed as "bedroom 3". It contains a sleeping area with a twin bed, and cement flooring with area rugs, a poker table, computer and printer. FLOOR 1 This is the basketball game and the 3rd bathroom (half bath). Here you have access to the front and back doors. SUMMER Please understand AC is not common in Seattle, and none in the loft, our summers are usually in the 70s (but there are usually a couple weeks in the 80s.) We have fans throughout. **** This Loft is great for: * Business travelers who want space to work or relax * Quiet groups and families - (no parties or non-residential noises) * Fans who want to attend games at Safeco or CenturyLink Fields I'll meet you at the loft at 4pm and give you a tour and your key. You may park at the dedicated compact spot in the courtyard of our building. Please let me know how many singles / double you have so I can prepare your beds. Amenities include: * 2200 square feet (670 meters)! * 50" TV set w/cable & Apple TV * Poker table * Pop-a-shot basketball * 1 compact parking space (big spot, tight driveway) * Stocked pantry * Washer/dryer/dishwasher * Green design, recycled floorboards, solar heating/water * 20’ ceilings and tall, bright windows, blackout shades * Bus access directly out front (#27), streetcar close by * Apple Computer and printer PRICING There is a base price, supplement of $35 beyond 4 people, taxes and an Airbnb fees. ********** After you book, message that you and your party understand the noise policies and house rules. Note the general purpose of your trip and guests traveling. Ensure that you have booked the correct number of travelers. Include an ETA if you have one. Bonus kharma for reading this far! Thanks! **********
Research our neighborhood before you book! I want you to have accurate expectations, so please ask any questions! Nope, we are not next door to Pike Place Market. That area is prohibitively expensive, less safe, always noisy and parking is expensive. We are NOT a house in a tree-lined neighborhood. This is a loft in the Central District (CD), 1820 E Yesler Way. It's very safe, more industrial than it is pretty, and it's changing rapidly because it borders downtown and is only a couple miles outside most tourist areas. Our nearby streetcar runs to the stadiums, International District and Capitol Hill. The 27 bus to the Pike Place area is out front. Buses to Seattle Center and the University are a couple blocks away. There are a handful of places to eat nearby, a convenience store across the street and a wonderful Broadcast Coffee one block away (they roast their own beans!) Tourist sights are close but you'll want to bus or Uber to them. It's about 1 hilly mile to Pioneer Square, about 2 miles to the stadiums (20 min walk) and about 3 miles to Pike Place Market.
  • Unique loft style place. Jessie was a great host.

    Gautam2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jessies place is fun with the many levels. 2 bedrooms but plenty of space for more to sleep. The game card table and basketball game were both a hit. Nice Updated kitchen. Would recommend.

    Matt2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Clean spacious place with great views!

    Dominique2018-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool funky loft! We really enjoyed our stay at Jessie‘s place. It was extremely clean, super fun, eclectic decor and was well supplied with coffee pods, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, and extra toiletries just in case we forgot. Lots of fun games and reading material. We enjoyed the basketball! The combination shower/toilet room on the fourth level was interesting but very easy to use. The neighborhood was a combination of older homes, apartments and newer lofts. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. Jessie had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and grocery store. Relatively close to downtown Seattle and right next to a bus stop. We definitely recommend this place to families.

    Kelly2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Jessie's spot was the perfect crash pad for my group of friends while we visited seattle. Plenty of space for hangin out and cooking. Thank you!

    Andrew2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • The space was wonderful and Jessie was kind enough to meet us at the train station to help transport our party. The terrace areas are great and master bath is stunning. The second bathroom was a bit like showering on an RV, as it doesn't have a full shower, but the other bathrooms give you options. Centrally located and plenty of sleeping space!

    Shea2016-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • We were i. Seattle for a football game and this location gave us everything we needed. Good location and amazing inclusions!

    Edward2019-11-04T00:00:00Z

Your private room is the entire 2nd story of the building which is home to a private event center and real estate office. Watch the boats, ships, tugs and kayaks pass by your window overlooking the Burke-Gilman trail and Fremont Canal.

It is vibrant, alive and fun.
  • Katrina’s place was fantastic. She truly thought of everything and the place was not only clean, but beautifully decorated. The location is in the Fremont neighborhood and is very walkable with lots of restaurants. Katrina was also very responsive and gave great recommendations on food/drinks. I would highly recommend staying here!

    Allyson2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place right on the water. Check in was easy. Very clean. Just be aware that only one person in the group will be sleeping on a real mattress, everyone else will be sleeping on a fold out couch. Still a nice place though.

    Tushar2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed in Fremont for a few days and loved the loft! The decor was beautiful, and we had gorgeous views of the canal. Our favorite part was watching the boats go by, but we also enjoyed how close we were to so many restaurants and bars. The hosts were available if we had any issues or questions, but we were never disturbed during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Seattle!

    Dan2019-09-04T00:00:00Z

    Christine2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wow what a gem! Sitting in the courtyard was one of my favorite parts of this hidden Fremont oasis. Katrina was so helpful and considerate the entire stay, and the place itself was so relaxing and well-decorated. I will definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

Situated on E. Cap Hill our custom designed art filled lofted efficiency studio has easy access to transit, is walking distance to grocery stores and close to restaurants & entertainment. From our location it's an easy commute to Amazon/SLU, all major hospitals/First Hill, UW, Convention Center, Downtown & SeaTac. Fully stocked with basics plus amenities and run by dedicated hosts! Come enjoy amazing art & support our local artists! Free unmetered street parking is available on our block.
Please note - this is a top floor WALK UP. There is NO ELEVATOR. The apartment is on the 4th floor so there are 3 flight of stairs before you get to the unit. The apartment features 2 private loft bedrooms. As such they are open to the kitchen & living room below (respectively). This is an efficiency studio which means it doesn't have a full kitchen in the unit. We have a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, french press, electric tea kettle and dishes/silverware/glassware for 4. There is a full kitchen on the first floor with an oven and stove-top if you would like to make a full meal. Another important detail is that the bathroom is shower only with the sink located outside the bathroom and shared with the kitchenette. The walls are not soundproof and although the neighbors are considerate you may hear them from time to time. Also, due to being in the heart of the city, there may be some street noise. If you need complete silence to enjoy your stay this may not be the best fit for you.
Cap Hill is our favorite neighborhood in Seattle - but we may be a little biased ;) It's diverse and eclectic - we have all kinds of folks from all walks of life living here. From artsy creative types to high tech. This is a lively and thriving neighborhood not for the faint of heart. There is always something to do, a show to see, a new restaurant to try, or a festival to attend. This is also Seattle's 'gayborhood' - if being surrounded by rainbow hair, glitter & feather boas doesn't sound like your cup of tea this may not be the place for you. We welcome everyone here but we expect those who come visit our neighborhood to respect our community. The apartment is near everything - you can walk to the grocery store, coffee shops, boutiques, yoga studio, tons of restaurants and anything else you might be interested. Looking for something specific? Check out our Neighborhood Guide or ask us - we'd be happy to point you in the right direction!
  • Elena is super nice and professional. The place is very clean and is exactly the same as it is described. We would definitely recommend you to stay at Elena's place in Seattle!

    Carol2017-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • So glad to experience such a neat place. It was fun to have the two loft nooks that were comfy & cozy. Enjoyed the French press coffee and variety of tea. The added bathroom amenities and flat iron were greatly appreciated. It was also neat using the August app for the door lock. Had a great stay, definitely recommend.

    Jennifer2019-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place - just wish there was an elevator to the 3rd floor!

    Prachi2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • When looking at the loft through the pictures I thought it would be a good idea to reserve it. The moment we got there and we climbed up those stairs I regretted my decision. Super cute though. But also the stairs to climb up and down to bet is so tiring but the bed is super comfortable so it’s worth it. Over all I loved everything because they literally had everything you didn’t even know you needed. The place is in one of the best spots in Seattle! If I were to rate my stay from 1 to 5 stars I would give it a 5 (you know it being the highest even though I hate stairs.)

    Ruvin2018-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Place is a 5 min drive to Capitol Hill which is one of the more trendy neighborhoods in Seattle. But be ready for 3 flights of stairs and thin walls because you’ll hear your neighbors.

    Anthony2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Elena’s Place was perfect for us to explore Seattle...it had quick access to a bus line, 15 minutes from the city Market, and was all around a fantastic place for us to stay.

    Chandler2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay in Elena's apartment! It was close to Capitol Hill and only about a 10min walk from all the action on both Pike and Pine street. The apartment was very well equipped with all the conveniences and common toiletries that we could have needed. It was close to a grocery store and multiple gyms which is something that we appreciated as well. Do note that both beds are lofted, so it requires climbing a ladder to get to the beds. While we thought it was a nice touch having the beds in a loft space, its something to be aware of when booking. Anyways, the experience was great, Elena was a great communicator, and we would definitely book here again.

    Ben2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The location was very convenient, I was able to get everywhere I needed to go in Seattle- by cheap rideshares and walking. I really enjoyed my stay, however, I would mention that this listing has minimalist accommodations. There is no mirror or sink in the bathroom. There is a great full-size mirror near the closet and a kitchen sink right outside the bathroom door. It was perfect for me and I would recommend this listing. The host, Elena, got back to me immediately with my questions which I greatly appreciate and value in an airbnb.

This flat is in a great location and offers access to multiple public bus lines and train stations. If you prefer to walk, there is plenty nearby including shopping, restaurants, parks, and entertainment. There are plenty of unique restaurants to grab a quick bite to eat.
    Centrally located on Capitol Hill
  • If you have a car, do not go to this place unless you want to pay for parking and risk getting a ticket. The place was nice, but the bathroom's shower was a tad dirty and the towels had hair. We also never received a response from our host when we had questions about parking. Good location though.

    Eric2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very good experience!

    鑫琳2019-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is clean, sparse but neat. However, it’s very small space, surrounded by windows (only a few small sections that open), very little air flow and was unbearably hot. It felt like we were in a hot glass box. There was a very weak fan provided that we had to put on the apartment’s only chair to make level with bed. As advised by the host to cool off the space we shut the blinds, making it feel smaller but still hot. It was 84 degrees on the thermostat after sundown. I was disappointed with the host’s lack of response, I sent him a photo of the thermostat at 84 degrees and his said “the ad stated there’s no AC” That doesn’t mean they don’t have to provide adequate ventilation and/or a fan. We had to leave. Grateful that Airbnb helped us resolve this situation. If you stay here, I advise renting this apt during the cooler months.

    Samantha2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Centrally located -- great locations and cozy, modern space. Great kitchen (1/2 fridge, stovetop, and countertop oven) + cookware with extra snack food & FREE COFFEE. It was right across the street from QFC. There is a smart TV, (small) desk, and large windows that have shades. Very clean! Issues: I was only given 2 towels for 2 people for a 7-day trip. The August app is required to get in the front door, but I was confused on how it was going to work until I was literally standing at the door trying to get a hold of the host. The weather was warm when I was there so the apartment got very hot, but opening the windows helped it out (just had to deal with noise).

    Taylor2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was very clean and modern—and the view was great! The customer service was top notch and made our stay in Seattle super enjoyable.

    Melisa2019-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment in a great location. Very safe, walkable close to everything. Some instructions for the thermostat would have been helpful as it was 85 degrees in the apartment and we couldn't figure out the AC. It's quite noisy on Pike St. on a Friday night and we had to keep the windows open.

    Roxanne2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Amenities were fantastic and a great locale. Right in the middle of Capitol Hill with lots of events, restaurants and bars around.

    Van2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very modern studio in the heart of Capitol Hill. It was a great place to stay as a first time visitor of Seattle. Very clean. Great amenities. Incredibly convenient. The only issue we had was hot water in the shower. When it worked, it was great, but there were a few times when we tried to shower and couldn't get anything more than luke warm. It always happened in the evenings. Maybe poor timing? Maybe they need a larger hot water heater?

  • David's place was great. Awesome view and very private from the owner. David has many amenities and is always a text away if you need his help. Location is very nice. You do have to walk a little if you want to go to a convenience store but the walk is very nice. If you stay without a car and want to get downtown a Uber ride will cost you around 15 dollars or less. David's place was so nice and comfy. My friend and i will be back for sure! Thank you again David!

  • This was a really nice space in a great neighborhood. David responded quickly to all my questions. I definitely recommend his place to people visiting Seattle.

  • My stay at this airbnb was very comfortable and clean. I loved it.I would stay there again.

    Sandra2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • David's studio is a cozy place to spend a week or two. There is plenty of space including a large closet, laundry room with washer and dryer, nicely equipped kitchenette, and open bedroom/living room area. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa bed (I slept on the sofabed, it's more comfortable than one might imagine!). The place is nicely decorated. It has plenty of light due to the large windows on the front of the house. Parking in front of the house was never a problem. David was very quick to respond to my questions and problems. We will book again when we're in the area.

  • Loved this little studio! It was super clean, stylish, and very private. David was a wonderful host - very personable and helpful. The location is perfect if you don't like to be in the midst of the city, but still very accessible to everything you might need. Definitely recommend!

  • The space was much more than I expected and was very nice. I felt comfortable almost immediately and felt so throughout my stay. David was very nice helpful. He was able to help when I needed it and also gave me my privacy. I can't wait to stay here again!

  • This is a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Everything was as advertised. David communicated quickly and was very helpful in making sure that we were comfortable in the space. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed

    David2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • David’s place is amazing!!! Great location with many things to see, eat, shop, day trip from, exercise, and relax. The space itself is huge, comfortable, with great amenities, and quiet. A short downhill walk to a beautiful area near Lake Washington with bike paths, hiking, and jogging trails. Town is close by with many restaurants, buses, light rail, and shops. Seattle is a short drive. I highly recommend you stay here. It’s a bargain!

Laundry available on every floor of the building. The loft was stocked with extra sheets, lots of towels, kitchen necessities, soap, shampoo, and laundry and dish detergent. Great lighting and it was quiet and private. The building has good security so we felt safe and secure. Definitely will stay here again!!

  • The space is clean and tidy. with a cute little kitchen. It's a small apartment, basically but if you're not looking for anything extravagant, then it'll fit your every need. The view of the space needle from the room is a bit underwhelming but it's there. My favorite part of this space is the rooftop! (Even though I was too busy being a tourist to even enjoy) the view is pretty amazing! I had a chance to catch a quick glimpse right before leaving. It was a 10min walk to the space needle and a 5-8 dollar lyft to everywhere else. That alone was a deal for me!

In the heart of Capitol Hill our brilliantly lit apartment has floor to ceiling windows! Amazing views! Some of the best in the city. Capture the essence of Seattle with a walk score of 99. You are in walking distance to almost everything. Surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, historical landmarks, and nightlife. This is the perfect spot for anyone visiting Seattle! The building has an incredible rooftop deck that you won't want to miss!
Bright, open layout with floor to ceiling windows & view of Mt. Rainier. Full bathroom with a loft sleeping area (requires you to climb ladder) , and a kitchenette that is the perfect for two. This lovely apartment is fully equipped with all the basics including fresh local coffee. As a bonus, the building is brand new!
Full, local market across the street!
  • Ember’s place is conveniently located, making it easy for both sightseeing and exploring on foot. The rooftop offered beautiful sunsets, and Ember was quick in communicating with us. Unfortunately, as other recent guests have commented, the place did not seem professionally cleaned—we were especially disappointed by dusty linens and sticky surfaces we had to clean ourselves.

  • Very cute apartment close to great coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping, and not too far from downtown Seattle. Just enough room for 1 or 2 people. Everything you need for a few night stay, including cooking supplies. Great stay and Ember is a fantastic host with very quick responses to any questions of clarification.

    Ivy2019-02-17T00:00:00Z

  • Do not waste your time. Find another place. The place is dirty, even when they say it’s clean. Everything has dust on it. The place is extremely hot, even on a day in the high 80’s. The staircase had a couple spots that are loose. The second bed is a joke and is one of the hardest beds to get in. We had to leave after 30 minutes because the apartment was giving a member of our group an allergy attack. The place is extremely over priced and you can actually stay in the Loews hotel for only $30 dollars more. That is where we ended up after forced to make last second changes because of the terrible conditions. Also, the check-in instructions were wrong. It was not the top lock box and was the 4th floor, not the 3rd. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

The loft bed was scary at first, but you get used to it quickly. 7 Eleven was close by too which came in handy for snacks and water! • I had a fantastic stay at Kelly's place and it is exactly the way it looks in the photos. Very chic and right in the middle of Pioneer square with plenty of food and entertainment options. I stayed there on a weekend and like others have reported there is some loud music from a club across the alley, but I found it to add to the experience of my stay. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Kelly was a great host with easy instructions and tips for food and coffee in the area. I would recommend 100%

    Jason2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location; can walk to almost everything. Pictures as advertised. Fast response time from the host. We didn’t have issues with noise from the bar but, if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs for common city night time noise. Only real negative was the common space is a bit dirty, lighting going in and out and had people congregating in the hallways.

    Emily2019-08-21T00:00:00Z

Rainier as you sip your morning coffee.
  • Nathan is a great host. Check in and out is a breeze and when we had a minor problem with a beeping smoke detector the first evening Nathan responded immediately and took care of it before we were back from dinner. It’s a lovely apartment in a very nice location with convenient parking. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back.

  • Nathan and Jacque's guest studio was amazing. Great location - near downtown/ Pike Place, local grocery stores, pubs, Whole Foods, and Chinatown. The studio is located in a safe neighborhood; the studio appears as pictured. The studio is very clean, modern, and was adequate space for my small family of three (husband, our 3 y/o son, and I). The studio is fully equipped with all needed amenities plus more. Nathan was an amazing host, extended my family outstanding hospitality, responded to our emails within minutes, and after purchasing a large flower bouquet from Pike Place, Nathan arrived within minutes upon my request with multiple vases. If you're in Seattle and in need of lodging, book Nathan's place, you will not be disappointed!

If you're seeking a unique space in an urban setting, look no further! This beautiful, spacious loft offers super high ceilings, large windows, natural wood floors, and all the amenities you'll need during your stay in Seattle. Located in the heart of Pioneer Square, right next to a waterfall park, you'll be steps away from multiple restaurants, boutiques, museums, and the light rail station. The studio features a king-size bed; a full-size airbed is also available (only upon request).
Our beautiful loft apartment features high ceilings, exposed brick and beam, original wood floors and windows, and plenty of space. The minimalist aesthetic helps showcase the apartment's natural charm and character. There is a king bed that will sleep two guests and an extra airbed can be provided for two additional guests.
Pioneer Square is the charming, bustling historic district in downtown Seattle and our building, The Lucknow, is a historic property which is listed on the national register of historic locations. The neighborhood features some of Seattle's prized architecture, cobblestone alleyways, and a great gallery and restaurant scene. It's centrally located and within walking distance to the stadiums and most popular destinations downtown. Please note that there are a few homeless shelters and missions in the area, as is common in many urban neighborhoods. However, we have never had any issues with resident or guest safety--in fact, most praise our building's location--and Pioneer Square is considered to be a very safe part of Seattle. For those prospective guests who are averse to seeing homeless people or panhandlers, we suggest choosing an accommodation outside of downtown Seattle.
  • We have never stayed at an Airbnb before and this place was beyond our expectations. The location was exactly as described, the accommodations were clean and comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

  • This place is just as beautiful as the pictures! In addition, Kia was incredibly helpful and fast to respond to any questions I had. Cute area and felt safe at night. One thing I will mention is that the walls / ceilings are incredibly thin. We essentially woke up when the people directly above us did every day because we could hear everything, down to their phone vibrating. We are early risers, so not an issue - but that might bother some people! Other than that, a very lovely stay and would definitely recommend / come back!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Modern Luxe Condo and would gladly stay again. Everything was 5 star: ease of check-in and check-out, cleanliness, the bed, security, amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, S & P, olive oil), etc. Thank you again. Definitely one of the best airbnbs I've stayed in.

  • Great place, clean, modern, perfect location, super quiet when windows are closed. Would definitely stay here again. Only reason gave it 4 was listing showed hot tub as an amenity. There’s no hot tub. Still cool place.

  • We will definitely stay here if we return to Seattle! Matt was a great host; he was available and courteous, and we felt taken care of. The apartment is in an excellent location--we could walk or take a cheap Uber ride to the city's main attractions. The space was clean and cozy with a great view!

  • This place is nicely located in Capitol Hill within walking distance of Pike Place, local public transportation including seasonal service to nearby hiking trails (mount si, etc.) and great coffee shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in the area!

  • Highly recommend this Airbnb. The location is amazing, the studio is very cute and has a very nice view of the city. I also want to add that the bed is very comfortable and spacious.

  • Pros - nice place, fantastic location, decent price. Cons - no 2nd key fob to get in when my wife and I came and went at different times - a pain. No flexibility on late check-out.

Nestled between Capitol Hill nightlife, the international district, adjacent to downtown, & surrounded by restaurants, this apartment is the best spot to explore Seattle or settle down for a month. A LEED Platinum building, it's a small loft of 300sf, furnished with a queen bed & futon in the loft & fold-out queen below. Complete with essentials like towels, hair products, & hairdryer. Wifi, microwave, fridge, hotplate. The apartment is about ecological minimalist living in the heart of Seattle
This clean simple 5th floor(no elevator) ergonomic 340 sqft (32sqm) studio Loft, is all about minimalism and sustainability in an urban location and at an affordable price. I do my best to conserve on water, energy and to reduce waste through composting and recycling. Please place your trash and recyclables under the sink, you'll also find a composting bag tied to the sink drain. Furnished with a queen bed, fold out queen mattress sofa, plus an additional futon in the loft that can also be turned into a bed. -Must climb stairs, the building does not have an elevator 5th-floor apartment -to get to the loft you must climb a steep ladder -strict quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, it’s just not the best sound insulated building.
The apartment is a 15-minute walk from downtown (Pike Place Market) and is centrally located in Seattle so it is a quick trip to visit Queen Anne, South Lake Union etc. If you like museums, the apartment is close to the Frye Art Museum which has no entry fee.

  • We had a wonderful stay with Magic. He communicated clearly and always in a timely manner. When we found out the door and gate codes we changing, we didn't even need to ask.Magic to provide the new codes because he beat us to the punch. Magic was also very kind and understanding when we checked out very late. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality Magic!

  • Overall, Magic's place was a great stay and pretty much walking distance to everything. What really impressed me was how Magic was proactive and beat me to everything in terms of communication. Do note that his listing is very accurate with the current "situation" such as the hot water, stairs, WiFi, etc. The only constructive criticism would maybe be to provide more durable towels since it was a little difficult to dry ourselves off after showering. Beds were super comfortable so that was a huge plus. Thanks again for having us!

  • It was great! The place was clean and well taken care of. Description of the place was accurate, and parking wasn’t too bad. Magic was responsive and very helpful. Thank you for a great AirBnB experience.

  • Our stay at Magic’s place was fantastic for my 2 young children and my wife and I. He was incredibly helpful with quick responses and even sent out a local area map of places he recommended to eat/see/do/etc which we greatly appreciated. Conveniently located by many of the area’s must see attractions. Everything is just a short walk away. Next time we make the trip back up to Seattle we will likely try to stay here again. ***** 5 stars

  • Magic was absolutely great! Super nice guy and extremely easy to work with. He offered great recommendations and was more than willing to help out with anything that we needed. Only thing worth noting is that the place is tiny. Pretty tight for 5 people. 2-3 would be much more comfortable. Hind-site 20/20 this place was great.
