Had a bit of a night with some friends from the Ant Farm but a pleasant quite stay otherwise.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and everything was so clean and convenient! Janice is great at communicating and made check in super easy though we got there past 10pm. The room and bed was clean and comfy. We got to meet the other housemate and he was super nice. We will be coming back to stay here, you can't beat the price. It's a great place to stay while traveling through the area! :)

James makes it easy!

Stayed here before and knew it would be another good stay. Love the no hassle check in with James, quick responses, comfy single bed (the Cove). The times I stayed the neighborhood and place was very quiet. I think you usually need to park on the street but it's a small less traveled street and can always find parking in front of Jame's place. James was friendly and helpful.

Great place I'll be back

We enjoyed our stay at matthew's place! The bed was very comfortable and location was overall pretty quiet. We did hear a rooster far in the distance, but it didn't bother us. He also has a variety of toiletries that I appreciated very much. I would definitely stay here again!

Matt and Lauren were great guests and fun people to hang out with. Room was great and very comfortable to sleep in and it was very convenient to get to their place from the train station. Would definitely stay here again.

I HIGHLY recommend this home! It was beyond perfect. The bathroom and bedroom were so clean, and the bed was heavenly. Plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels, in addition to a plethora of shampoos, conditioners, and soaps! Not to mention the awesome area. It was in the heart of Sacramento, close to everything! I will definitely stay here again in the future.

This was our first ever airbnb stay. What a wonderful experience and surprise to find this. I want to thank Donald and Lesley, his lovely wife for their amazing hospitality. They are kind, give you your privacy, but are also available if you need them. I came to Elk Grove for difficult business and I can not believe how wonderful they both were. Lesley would spend time with us when we needed it and she was so loving and kind. Their home is immaculate, cleaner than any home I have ever been in. We will come back as soon as we can. Andy was great, helpful, courteous and welcoming. Room was simple, and very clean. Bathroom was clean. Shared with another person, but I never saw the person. Felt the house was all mine. Definitely come back again.

Andy has been great at communication and was very helpful throughout my stay. I forgot my phone in an uber car and he helped me out in trying to contact the driver. The room is as described and everything was fine during my stay. The house is close to the city center which was convenient for me but one might feel uncomfortable to walk alone at night. There was no problem with safety though.

Andy is a very kind host, I had a change of plans which Andy accepted and was understanding to fluctuations in schedules. The room provided is clean, spacious and private. The location is easy to access off the 99 close to the city collage and downtown area. No complaints only thanks!

Sam’s friend, Charles helped us get checked in, the checkin/out process was very smooth. The location was great - very close to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, parks, the Capitol etc. The unit had everything we needed! Overall, a great experience!

Sam was awesomely accommodating. Even though he wasn't present, he had a friend handle checkout and everything, who was also readily available for questions, give food recommendations, and work with us on timings. The place is in a great location, very central to anything you'd want to do in Sacramento. The apartment contains everything you would need for a short stay. Would stay again.

The place was incredibly clean and well kept . Had zero problems with the room. Charles , Sam's friend, was the one who communicated with me and he gave great suggestions on places to eat in the area.

The room was really nice, and they clearly put a lot of effort into making it feel warm and cozy. They were very responsive and made check-in a breeze. You can't really beat the price!

6 out of 5 stars! We really enjoyed our time so much, that we expanded our stay from 7 to 10 days! Just an awesome experience at this cute spot with very nice hosts! We loved the room, which is spacious, very quite and super clean. There is plenty of room to store suitcases (we had 6...!) and you can use the dresser as well as the closet to store your clothes. It provides a queen size bed - so easy to stretch out and relax. You have your private attached bathroom and you can enter the room either through their house or through the yard. So if you don´t want to get in touch with the hosts, you don´t need to. BUT: We spent as much time as we could to hang out with Beth and Randy. They are really cool people and as they have travelled a lot with airbnb they are extremely focused on making your experience at their house as perfect as they could (they even provide "hotel-like" sweets and coffee and bathroom stuff in the room). It was nice spending one or the other evening with them at the porch or in the living room and Beth even dropped my husband off at work in Sacramento as she needed to go to a place nearby. Everything in the house is open to your use (except their bedroom and bathroom) - kitchen, BBQ, laundry, yard, livingroom... Elk Grove itself is a cute town and the neighborhood is very quite and private. You can find good restaurants (thanks again for your recommendations!), plenty of shops, grocery stores, historic downtown... within 2-10 min drive - some of this is even walkable (we walked there! and once they gave us their bikes so it was really easy to get everywhere!). But even to downtown Sacramento it is only a 20-25 minute drive (with traffic up to 40 minutes which is not too bad...) We definetely recommend to stay here! And if you are not sure yet, whether you want to book their room or if you have any questions: Just contact them and ask everything in advance (we did that..). You will get a fast and nice response and all your doubts will be gone - for sure! Have fun!

Staying at Randy and Beth was wonderful! Randy welcomed me in on my arrival. They were kind and accommodating. The room was very spacious and had coffee machine, water and snacks. The bed was also comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

This is absolute the best Airbnb place I have stayed at! The value, all the nice touches, added, snacks, water, fruit, so much more then expected! Super clean, everything you could think of needing. Easy check in, easy access, I have found with some Airbnb access and stairs are challenging with luggage and heels. Not here so nice!

Ray's place is really nice and well-decorated. The place has everything you need: a kitchen, fridge, bathroom, Cable TV and a decent view. Unfortunately, the WiFi was not reliable. But if you can do without reliable WiFi, this is a great place to stay.

Ray's cottage was fully stocked with everything you need, including breakfast food and treats! He was very helpful, the epitome of a great airbnb host. The hot tub was an added bonus. Very quiet neighborhood and friendly dogs; we will stay there again.

This is my first Airbnb stay after consistently staying at hotels, and man was it a great experience. Ray's place is simple, amazing, and is stocked up with the things you need for comfortable living (food, bathroom supplies, etc.). The bed was extremely comfortable! I got to meet Ray Jr. and his dogs and they were very very friendly! I didn't get to use the hot tub, but it was very accessible. I'll definitely stay at this place again when I visit Sacramento!

Arriving was very easy, well marked signs to get into the cabin and the direction were clear and easy to follow. There were lots of snacks which made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the hottub and had a nice night.

This is a lovely little gem of a place! It's private and quiet, and the hosts couldn't be nicer. There's a really pretty garden outside the door that guests are invited to use. I didn't have time to spend in it, but it is very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Our hosts were great. We had privacy, the value and location was great. The only downside was if my husband was any taller than 6' the ceiling and door height wouldn't have worked.

I had a wonderful time at Mindy and Weston's, and really enjoyed the time I spent in Sacramento. They were excellent hosts, and Weston also has an awesome collection of Magic and D&D items, and was kind enough to share his knowledge on building a good campaign in the future.

My boyfriend and I had a late dinner reservation and weren't able to check-in until super late. Mindy was very accommodating, and kept in contact with me throughout the night to let me know that all was good for check-in. The place was wonderful! She had the heater going so it was nice and warm when we checked in. It was clean and comfortable and had all that we needed. We also appreciated the waters and chocolates in the fridge :) a great stay!

What a beautiful garden cottage experience! I found the space to be gorgeous, cozy, and such a nice place to relax and unwind after a busy day! Mindy is an excellent hostess, (thank you for your recommendations around your neighborhood, they were spot on!) If I am ever fortunate to return to Sacramento, or know someone visiting, I would definitely recommend booking with them.

I had a very busy week. The evening I would drive into the ranch. Drive 5 miles an hour, roll my windows down and talk to the cows, llama, listen to the birds, watch the herons, squirrels. By the time I got to the cabin peace was upon me.

Great spot -- so peaceful and private! Really enjoyed walking around on the property, and hiking at the nearby Cosumnes preserve. Cabin exactly as advertised, and couldn't have asked for nicer, more attentive hosts. Feels remote but is not far from groceries and restaurants. Will absolutely return!

The perfect little getaway. This place is off the beaten path- you will be surrounded by nature in a quiet and peaceful setting, yet close enough to all the wineries and downtown area. Cabin was clean and cozy, and the deck was wonderful to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine.

My stay at the cabin was very enjoyable. I went there with my boyfriend, and we both loved it. Everything was thought of, and ready for us when we got there. Location is peaceful and remote, and cabin is comfy and had everything we needed. Patsy and Wendell definitely made our stay a great experience.

I want to give this place even more stars. It is affordable, delightful, and the hosts are amazing. There were snacks for us upon our arrival, along with a card from the owners. The Guest Binder was up-to-date, and thoughtfully curated, with local recommendations, history of the land, and information about the property. The property itself is exactly as the photographs indicate, only you can't possibly capture what it's like to actually see an otter swim by! The bed is full-size, which was hard to tell from the photos - plus very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Galt, and will definitely be returning.
