The Markthaus is a historic gem and is listed as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the mirror image of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic painter's path. Vaulted cellars and foundation walls date to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a relaxation, post office and tavern. In 1850 a massive cultivation in the Classicist style took place. The spacious and 65 m2 apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and a living-dining room with a 10 m2 balcony. A baby cot (€15 per stay) can be provided on request. The underfloor heating and automatic room ventilation (with pollen filter) provide a cozy climate all year round. Small, cozy apartment with large, usable garden located on the south side of the fortress Königstein. Good for families with 2 small children, but of course everyone else is welcome! In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or just enjoy the great starry sky at night. In the area there are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities. it should be noted that there is no wifi in the cottage.

Mountain farm with dream views

we live in the Saxon Switzerland National Park on a 200-year-old farm in Bielatal. The farm is located at an altitude of 400 meters, from here you have a magnificent view of the Elbe sandstone mountains. We lovingly converted the middle part of the old cowshed with hay floor into a holiday apartment. It is part of the large restored 4-sided farm.

Felsenkeller Bielatal "Rosengarten"

Please visit us for a holiday, next to the rocks , in one of our holiday homes. The Felsenkeller Bielatal was since 1854 a popular tavern and restaurant in the district (Bad) Schweizermühle, until the turnaround. The name “Felsenkeller” has its origin in the cellar vault on the ground floor that is built attached to the rocks.
