“Open 6:30am - 8PM Wonderful coffee roasted on site daily - grab a cup or take some whole beans home. Wide variety both regular and Decaf. They also offer bagels and some of the best baked sweet treats as well as deli sandwiches and lighter lunch fair. Housed in a converted farm house, they are about a 15 minute walk away (it sounds farther than it is).”

“After serving Rockford for decades, the Corner Bar suffered a devastating fire in August 2017 in which, ironically, only a single corner of the building survived. They've reopened with an eclectic new space and the casual atmosphere that has made it a Rockford Tradition. Whether it's a meal, sandwiched or their famous hot dogs (there's a wall with nearly 6,000 names of people who have successfully eaten 12 or more at one sitting), you won't go wrong. Locally owned, well–trained staff. It's the quintessential Rockford experience.”

“A Grand Rapids tradition for generations, the Rockford location opened a few years ago. Smack in the middle of downtown, serving Madcap Coffee (look it up) and, for those with little will power, locally handmade chocolates that the family has been making for decades,”

Premise
“It's paved. It's flat. It used to be a railroad track. It runs along the river and through downtown. South of the city and across the old railroad trestle bridge, it will connect you to family parks and playgrounds, a dog park, and some graffiti under the highway bridge”
