  • Fun stay on the farm

    Bill2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay on our ski trip. Nate was always available, and the farm is a beautiful piece of land to get away for a couple nights.

    Emma And Corey2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wow - I had the whole house to myself. Super-friendly cats, cool ranch house vibe, and my room was comfy. You can't get that at a hotel! I plan on staying there (if available) next time I'm in the area!

  • Close to the east side of Mount Rainier is what first attracted us to The Lathrop Family's place. The nostalgic decor, the knotty pine walls and ceilings, and warm welcome by Nate and Elisabeth is what would cause us to return if we are in the area again. And yes, we were fortunate to be able to see Nate's newest farm animal at the time, a four-day-old calf. It was our first time at an Air B&B that did not have a private entrance, and it was a positive experience. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the other Air B&B guest.

  • Farmer Nate is a super nice guy. Offered suggestions for some local food and was very welcoming. We got to meet some of the household pets and they were very friendly and welcoming.

    Justin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nate is an amazing host. The house was very clean, the room spacious and toilet inside the room. We arrived fairly late however he still made us tea. Perfect place to stop. The sky is amazing at night. Wish we stayed longer to check out the farm and welcome Kobe(calf) to this world. Highly recommend staying here.

  • What a great place to stay- a ranch run by a friendly and helpful family and just outside Mt Rainier National Park. We arrived after hiking the beautiful Naches Peak Trail, and Nick recommended a great restaurant where I was able to get GF options. We will definitely stay here again should we need a place on the East Side of Mt Rainier!!!

    Bella2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing people!! They are both very warm and welcoming, and their cats and dogs are super sweet! Farmer Nate showed my husband and I around the farm and introduced us to the animals. We had a very lovely experience, and will definitely be going back

Simple but comfortable daylight basement suite in Naches, 11 miles west of downtown Yakima and the town closest to White Pass ski area. Your rooms include a bedroom with queen sized bed, and a sitting room (each with a window), and there is a simple bathroom with shower. You have a private entrance. The yard is large and peaceful, and the neighborhood is quiet. This is a good place for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds in all seasons, nature lovers, hikers, and lovers of craft beer/wine.
This is not a sleek, remodeled basement, but there is a bedroom with an excellent bed, a comfy sitting room, and a bathroom with shower and hot water. There is a private entrance. We are on the highway but behind a high hedge, so when you sit on the deck in back, which we share with you, it feels very rural. The property itself is on a slough, and the view from the deck is very pretty. The town (think Norman Rockwell) is just across the highway and is an excellent place to walk. A couple of blocks along the highway and a right turn brings you to a path where you can walk along the Naches River. Naches is 11 miles west of Yakima, where there are many restaurants. In Naches itself, there are simpler opportunities (taverns, small restaurants, Subway). This is a seriously agricultural area; and in spring, fall and summer, there is fabulous produce available at fruit stands everywhere. In spring the blooming fruit trees are gorgeous. This area has become very well-known for excellent wines, and the wineries are very close by. One is even at the end of a lovely canyon hiking trail. We are very close to various bluebird trails, where bird lovers have built nesting boxes, which have brought the bluebirds back to our area. Close by also is the Oak Creek wildlife station that feeds thousands of elk each winter. It is a sight to see the elk pouring out of the hills for lunch. It's an hour's drive up highway 12 to the White Pass Ski Area which has opportunities for snow boarding, downhill skiing, and cross country skiiing. What we offer here are simple accommodations with excellent outdoor opportunities.
Naches is a quiet small town. There is a walking and bicycling path across the street from us that is part of a larger Greenway path stretching from the old railroad depot half a mile west of us 20+ miles east to Selah and Union Gap. Most of the town streets have sidewalks, and we enjoy walking around town in cool weather. We have a library and a city park, too, with an outdoor swimming pool that is open in the summer. Sportsman's Days is the annual town fair. It takes place the second Friday and Saturday of September and offers all kinds of activities.
  • Another super restful stay! So grateful this amazing value and hospitality for my work trip.

  • Such a private, quiet, and generous space! You have the entire basement, including a living room with table and chairs and futon, as well as the bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. You also have your own private bathroom with shower. Dotty and Vera are such gracious, helpful hosts! Hope to stay again if I’m in town for work.

    Jenny2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • In addition to a comfortable place to stay, Dotty also is backed up great wildlife viewing - so give yourself time to enjoy it!

So many little touches were noticed and we slept soundly in a very comfortable bed with great pillows! We can't imagine why we would stay elsewhere when next in Yakima. Thanks, Renee! It was delightful to meet you no matter how briefly.

  • We had a lovely stay at the cabin! It had everything we wanted and was a nice break from reality with no WiFi and minimal cell service. There were plenty of utensils for cooking and we especially enjoyed the fire pit and waking up to the the view from the upstairs room. And dog-friendly is always a plus!

    Garrett2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful getaway in this cute little cabin. It was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evenings.

Close to Mount Rainier National Park, wine country and multiple hunting units, this Bunkhouse is perfect. Great for the weekend hiker, hunters or a place to sit back and relax. Deer and elk visit on a regular basis. This Bunkhouse is decorated with a rustic charm but with the amenities of home.
The Bunkhouse is located on just over an acre in the Nile Loop area off of Chinook Pass. Close to hunting GMU's 340, 342, 346, 352 and 360. Wine country is just a quick jaunt down the road along with some great breweries. The space includes a twin over full bunk bed and a pull out futon couch. A mini kitchen includes a microwave, sink, small refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes and utensils. A patio table with 4 comfortable chairs are on the deck for your morning coffee or use the on-site gas bbq for a delicious dinner.
We have lived here for 15 year's. It is very quiet and removed from the hustle bustle of the city. We can sit on our patio and bar-b- que. Enjoy the wildlife that show up quite often. In the winter after 1st snow it is absolutely beautiful. You can lay in bed at night and hear the river right behind us. The scenery hear is 2nd to none. We have very friendly neighbor's and being a small area everyone help's each other. Being retired my wife and i love it and enjoy sharing it with other's thru the airbnb Bunkhouse.
  • This was our second stay at the Bunkhouse. Just as it was for our first visit, we truly enjoyed the bunkhouse and Raymond’s hospitality! We will be staying again soon!

  • Couldn't have picked a better place to stay during hunting trip , relax , unwind , a family trip , or just a romantic getaway. This place is wonderful . My husband and I travel the country as we are truck drivers and this is definitely in the top 5 we will always come back here. Had the best time . The hosts were amazing , and the special personal touches were so nice . I'd recommend this place hands down. And the fire area was so perfect. I'm not sure there wasn't anything perfect about our stay.

    Jason Sandy2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • So nice and inviting took the time to sit by the fire and visit with us gave us lots of tips to places to see was amazing trails to walk along and follow the river would come again

    Hollie2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ray and Marge were delightful hosts in a stunning setting! He made a cozy, inviting fire in the spacious backyard, and he and Marge shared a few of their stories with me. It's great to meet such lovely older people who have knowledge and wisdom to share! The bunkhouse was clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed. My only suggestion for improvement is that they have a sharp kitchen knife handy - I couldn't find one when I went to slice some lemon for my water, but perhaps I simply overlooked it!

    Mara2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely experience

    Alie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Bunkhouse is so very much more than what you would expect from what you read. The location is spectacular with the wind blowing in the trees, the privacy, listening to the river as you fall asleep and most importantly, the hosts. Raymond and Margie went over and above all expectations in every area of our stay. They fulfilled or did their very best to accommodate every request we had and because of our situation there were many. I highly recommend this property for any visit to the Yakima Valley. It's not far from town but a world away at the same time. If you're planning a trip to the Valley forgo the stuffy hotel and get a hold of Ray. You won't find this comfort, peace or setting at three times the price.

  • Great place to stay!!

    Bobbie2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place. My sister and I stayed here for a show at the Gorge, and while it’s a bit of a drive, it’s also perfectly located to drive up into the cascades. Raymond met us in the morning as we were leaving, he’s great. Accommodations were as described, shower and bathroom were spotless. AC worked well.

  • Comfy house with super chill hosts. Great location near the airport where I was training. There was no pressure to hang out (which was nice because I had really long days, and was feeling kinda antisocial), but both hosts were totally willing to chat, and were extremely gracious with their space. Would absolutely recommend their place, and would stay there again.

  • Best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! Will be returning over summer!

    Kayla2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is absolutely idyllic. Being right on the river, surrounded by mountains and trees, it was the perfect get away from busy life. While they did have a tv and WiFi, we unplugged for the whole weekend and enjoyed everything the cabin and nature had to offer. You can picnic by the outdoor fire, play games inside by the fire, and cook a few meals while seeing a spectacular river view the whole time. It is cozy, the lights are a beautiful touch, and there are simple, quality amenities throughout. My favorite was the local coffee beans and mugs. Also, the nearby town has such a friendly vibe—we stopped at the local market for a couple things and even from such a small interaction we got a lovely community feel.

    Michelle2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house and location was incredible! So beautiful, perfect place to relax and get out of town. The spot was clean and had everything we needed! The fridge wasn’t huge so make sure you bring some coolers if you are planning on bringing a lot of fridge food! I would 100% come back here and hopefully we can because my sister was proposed to while we were there and it was the prettiest backdrop ever for the spontaneous proposal!!

    Alyssa2020-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cedars cabin was exactly what we had hoped for. It was removed but very assessable. It was a short drive from both Packwood and White Pass. Though we didn't have to drive far for beautiful scenery. It was right on the bank of the Cowlitz river, perfectly positioned with lots of sunlight. There were a lot of nice small touches. Good coffee, tea, nice toiletries, games, a speaker. It was cozy but not cramped. Not to mention that Cedar always responded within minutes, which is always comforting. I would love to come back again soon, highly recommend.

    Helen2020-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Was such a cozy spot on the water! Only downside was not being able to stay longer.

Our cozy A-Frame guest house is perfect for a couple or family with 2 small children. This is a strict limit for your comfort. It's like a "tiny" house you see on TV. Come enjoy all that nature has to offer in a fairy tale setting. Hike, bike, swim, fish, hunt, ski, etc. One of our recent guests said it felt like she was in a fairy tale. Enjoy your private quaint cabin with all you need, queen bed on main floor and two twins in loft. Large outside deck to relax and have your morning coffee or enjoy the birds and trees. Kitchenette includes refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, crock pot, coffee maker, electric kettle, hot plate, pots & pans, all dishes, utensils, etc. Small propane grill on deck during summer. The bathroom has a stall shower (no tub). Please be aware that there is no "stove" or oven for cooking. Wood stove with plenty of firewood for those chilly nights. Just steps from Coal Creek and the Cowlitz River. Come join us in the shadow of Mt. Rainier and the great northwest. White Pass Ski area is a short 16 miles (about 20 mins.) Mt Rainier National Park is 4 miles away, (our nearest entrance, Stevens Canyon, is closed for the winter.) During the winter the park can be accessed from the Longmire entrance. (About a 45 minute drive.) Located in a residential neighborhood of vacation cabins. If you have small children please be aware that the stairs to the loft are very steep. Some guests have said they were surprised at the proximity to the main house. The A-frame is our fully self contained guest house and is about 50 feet from our house. We are very quiet and won't bother you. You will have complete privacy unless you want to interact. We are a couple in our 60's with a few pets, along with the wildlife. We are close by in the main house and are happy to help you with information about the area. If you need anything, just ring the bell. Local restaurants and shops are just 4 miles away in the town of Packwood.
Darlene (Timberline Pines)’s home is located in Packwood, Washington, United States. Quiet residential neighborhood of vacation homes called Timberline Community Association. Cabin is locate on the street, the creek is behind our house. Cowlitz river is less than 100 yards away. Feel free to enjoy the creek and river. Best restaurants just 4 miles West in Packwood: -Blue Spruce (bar with great food, kids welcome until 10pm) -Cruisers Pizza -Cliff Droppers (great burgers including elk and buffalo) -Josie's (New Italian restaurant)
  • This is my second time staying here and look forward to my third! Such a wonderful mountain escape. Love the wood stove, evergreen trees, and proximity to both town and wilderness.

  • Excellent, quiet, efficient, clean, overnight lodging. Up to the White Pass ski area in 20 minutes! Two bundles of wood per night in the wood burning stove from the local market (or bring your own) make for a warm cozy evening and night!

  • Great locational stay when going to White Pass Ski resort while still close to Packwood for dinner. The place was immaculate and the fireplace was enjoyable to come back to following a day on the mountain. Definitely will keep in mind when going back to ski or during the summer for hiking in the mountains around Rainer.

    Sarah2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Got just what we expected and enjoyed our stay. Didn't feel too cramped, and was perfect for what we needed. Only 20 minutes from white pass.

  • My boyfriend and I came up for our two year anniversary from Portland and this place was the perfect get away! I’ve always dreamt of staying in a little A frame in the forest and this place really took the cake. All the information in the description is up to date, no surprises. Yes this is close to the main house but when you’re in the cabin you would have no clue. We brought ingredients for chili in the crock pot which was a great little trick for having dinner ready when getting home from exploring the area and you don’t have to worry about not having a “full” kitchen setup. We stayed in the middle of a big snow storm and the heat was perfect no complaints, even warmer with a cozy fire on.

    Mary2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Darlene’s cabin was just what we wanted for a nice cozy winter stay close to White Pass. Check in was very easy, and the amenities are just as described. Would definitely stay again if I’m on a trip with 1-2 other people.

This beautiful, lush, veteran owned and operated 4 acre property has about 80 trees, many of them 100 year old Maple trees. There is a spring fed pond and creek. It is 5 minutes from local shopping, 10 minutes from downtown Yakima and 45 minutes from the White Pass ski resort. The property borders the Suntides golf course and the driveway entrance is just 75 yards from the local greenbelt walking/jogging/biking pathway that extends over 20 miles from Naches, past Yakima, to Union Gap.
This is a 528 square foot luxuriously appointed, private, serene efficiency apartment above a 3,000 sq. ft. barn. It has a King size bed, a futon that will convert to a double bed and a loft area with cushions and sleeping bags suitable for children. It has a 37" flat screen TV with Direct TV and a DVR. We have provided a multi-device charging port in case you forget yours. It has an efficiency kitchenette with an electric skillet, microwave, toaster oven, 5 qt crock pot, a 3 qt electric cooker, and water boiler. For you coffee lovers we have a coffee maker, a french press and a grinder if you want to grind your own beans or use the ground organic coffee that we provide. We also normally provide a couple bottles of water, a half dozen boiled eggs and fresh eggs from our chickens, popcorn, oatmeal packets, and various other items. Please let us know if there is something you would specifically care to have. If you are here for a special occasion also please let us know so we can help to make it even more special. The property has three fire pits and a children's play area. There is also a paddle boat on the pond behind the main house if you want to spend a little quality time with the ducks and the turtles. There is a private patio at the base of the stairs with a small fire pit, a gas grill, and a table, chairs and umbrellas. We've loaded many pictures but they don't reflect the peaceful serenity of the property. It is a true sanctuary. It is more of a "destination" spot than an overnight stay room. Our guests have agreed.
This home is in a plot of land sandwiched between a golf course and a gated community. This property is the furthest back of the three homes in the 12 acre plot. The property is gated. We are only a few miles from the Yakima River with some of the best fly fishing in the Northwest, several local wineries, and micro breweries.
  • My husband and I booked a last minute weekend getaway at Bill's place. The property was inviting and relaxing. The Airbnb was cute and comfortable and a great place for a weekend away. The fresh brownies and hard-boiled eggs were a great touch! We really enjoyed the place and plan to stay again in the future!

    Katrina & Trevor2020-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay in Yakima. I travel for work and have stayed in many AirBnBs. Bill and Chris are truly super, super hosts. The property is gorgeous and secluded with an automated gate. The space is spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything that you would need. I arrived to find homemade brownies, farm fresh eggs, and bagels! I will definitely stay at Buckskin Ranch when I visit Yakima again!

    Marilynn2020-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful scenery, close hiking/running/biking trails, great hospitality, and the comforts of home make the Buckskin Ranch a terrific place to stay!

    Kathryn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such an incredible place. Bill is a fantastic host and has truly thought of everything. The property and the birds are beautiful and we loved hanging out in the cozy loft. We hope to be back soon!

  • I love this place which feels like it is in the country but is just minutes from town! I keep coming back🤗

    Sally2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The grounds are beautiful and perfectly kept. You can cook pretty much everything with the griddle and toaster oven, which we heavily utilized. Our toddler’s favorite activity was the swing-set, which was steps away from the cabin. We had a wonderful time over the New Year; the only downside was the lack of snow in the area! Our hosts were great with their addition of holiday decor and farm-fresh eggs, as well as cookies and bagels. Thanks for the great time!

    Brittany2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first time! Clean, quiet, and festive for the holidays this time! Bill and his wife are excellent hosts.

    Jordan2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is clean and comfortable. We visit Yakima a couple times a year, and this is SOOO much better than a hotel. The grounds are beautiful in winter and a shady escape from the summer sun. The hosts obviously care about the grounds and their guests.

They loved it here I'm not even sure if we have completed the job we came to do in the area but I've already got volunteers to go back...Dale's place 5 stars from a not so easy to please group. Thanks Dale!!

  • They really paid attention to the details, and went beyond what we expected. We ran low on coffee filters, and just planned to pick some up at the grocery store when we ran out, but before we could, we received a message that they had already noticed and had dropped some off at the front door. Wow!

Welcome to our beautiful country home, located In West Valley, in the middle of an apple and pear orchard! It is a quiet and relaxing environment. You can sit on the back porch to drink your morning coffee, read a book, take a stroll around the house to see the many different plants and flowers blooming, or even sunbathe. The neighborhood truly cares about one another and are watchful 👀for everyone’s safety. You can walk, run, or bike ride the neighborhood. Be expecting a hello and a wave!
The house is a three bedroom home, family, dining, and living room. Your bedroom is private, has a closet to hang your clothes or store your luggage. Relax in the living or mediation room, make yourself at home.
Yakima is lucky to be a part of the wine country and it has an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables. Can’t beat these luxuries! Also, nearby there are tons of walking and hiking trails, tennis and pickle ball courts, and a few pools. Fly fishing is nearby on the Yakima and Naches rivers. Skiing at White Pass is an hour drive from here. Cowiche Canyon-one of my favorite places to hike, bike, run, or walk. The Greenway-biking, running, and walking path along the river. It goes for miles and is very smooth. Yakima Athletic Club- it has a gym, an inside pool for Winter and outside for the summer. It has all the amenities and brand new pickle ball courts. Starbucks and several other coffee joints! La Michoacana- agua fresca y nieve. Flavored water and Mexican ice cream. Panderia-Mexican bakery. If you love these kind of treats, you could always visit the small town of Tieton. Authentic Mexican restaurant, art gallery, and more. Super cute. Yakima Steak Company. There's so many options, just ask us if you are hankering for something.

  • This really is a wonderful cabin. Plenty of space for the kids to play and explore the property and the hot tub and fire pit were lovey. The entire place was super clean and the beds were comfy! They do have limited spices to cook with so make sure to bring all the items you need. We loved the original charcoal Weber grill and they provide s'more sticks for the fire pit. We had quick and helpful responses from Vince and he even allowed us to check in early because we were only staying for one night. So kind! We will absolutely book this gem again! Thanks Vince!

    Nicocia2020-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Vince’s cabin is perfect for a weekend retreat from Seattle, whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway for two or a family friendly trip. Vince was super communicative and welcoming. Can’t wait to be back soon!

  • Loved the tasteful decor and thoughtfulness about creating a cozy experience.

  • Excellent cabin with prime location. It is cozy and cute, had everything that you needed for a few days or a week in the winter. Loved it.

  • Cozy and relaxing retreat. Great access to Mt Rainer National Park. Very clean and quite location!

    Renee2019-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Alpine Annie's Cabin was amazing!! I had high expectations from everything I had seen in the listing, and it more than lived up to the hype. Absolutely beautiful inside and out, a lovely area/neighborhood, and SO close to the national park/forest - it can't be beat. Very stylish space, and very clean/well-maintained. The kitchen had everything you could need, and having use of a washer and dryer was SO helpful. The furniture was all very comfortable, and the wall of windows in the living room is just stunning. The bathroom is a little on the cramped side, but that did not remotely diminish from our perfect stay, nor did the temporary absence of the TV. My only complaint might be the seemingly high nightly rate when including fees, but we were just two people, and since the cabin accommodates up to 6, it's a really great deal for a larger group/family. Still very much worth it, and would HIGHLY recommend this place! Simply wonderful. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Cozy studio guest house in wonderful Franklin Park neighborhood. Tucked away at the back of the property behind the main house. Small space with full kitchen, well set up to provide everything you need for a nice stay. Nice private outdoor space behind house.
This home is located directly across from Franklin Park. There is a public pool if you'd like to go swimming, a track if you'd like to take a run, a huge terraced hill if you'd like to sled in the winter months. The Yakima Valley Museum is a short walk from the home and the Museum Soda Shop directly next to it too. There is often live music playing every Friday night in the park. There is a playground for children and lots of picnic tables for gatherings. It is a great, safe neighborhood.
  • This is a fantastic studio in a historic neighborhood. There is a park directly across the street and many stores and food options a short drive away. The space is very clean and comfortable and the hostess was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay again when visiting.

  • Monica's place was clean and easy to find. We were blocks from our daughter and able to get around quickly and easily. We enjoyed the flexibility of having a "studio" instead of a hotel room. Monica was timely in her responses! We made the reservation as we were driving to Yakima.

    Carrie2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really terrific place to stay. It had everything I needed for an enjoyable visit to Yakima. It has an extremely comfortable bed and it had all the amenities I required. Very quiet, clean, charming place. Thank you Monica!

  • It was our first experience using Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier. The place looked exactly like the photos and it was sparkling clean. We didn’t get a chance to meet Monica in person but she left some awesome tips for us on the table, which we really appreciated. Great location, would definitely stay here again :)

    Randy2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Monica's place was very convenient, extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and we appreciated the wonderful kitchen. We were grateful to have a driveway in which to park since we have a large vehicle, we didn't have to worry about parking on the street. Monica was very attentive when we had questions and very quick to respond. We had a little difficulty closing the door when we left but that was most likely due to the very cold weather; we figured out how to make it work. We would definitely recommend Monica's place when staying in Yakima!

  • This place was the perfect size and decorated beautifully. It had everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking, and everything throughout the home. We were hoping to see some Elk, but they must have been busy somewhere else. We did get a small bit of snow. It was nice and quiet, and exactly what we were looking for.

The Coop is a fresh, country-themed retreat that offers all the modern amenities, making it a great place to roost on your get-away to the Yakima area. Bask in the sunlight Yakima is famous for and enjoy farm-fresh eggs delivered to your door every morning. Catch a cool breeze in the shade on a hot summer day, or snuggle up next to the fire on a cold winter night. A fenced side yard is also available for sleeping out during the summer or to give your pets a place to stay and play.
The "Coop" was an actual chicken coop that housed several hundred birds at one time. It has been lovingly renovated and is now ready for you to relax and enjoy.
Within minutes of our property you'll find two coffee shops, and there's a quaint (and delicious) wood-fired pizzeria/mom & pop grocery store just down the road. Golfers will enjoy being just a few miles away from Apple Tree Golf Course, one of the Pacific Northwest's premier golf destinations. The area has many U-pick vegetable, berry and fruit farms just a short drive away. Of course wineries, breweries, pubs and a distillery are all part of the scenic Yakima Valley, and well worth the time to explore. Yakima also offers access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails or a trip up the Yakima River Canyon where you can see bald eagles or spot big horn sheep, elk or deer. For a more adventurous outing, try white-water rafting on the Tieton River during the summer and fall. Catch-and-release fishing is also popular, and you can even book a guided fishing tour. There's an indoor shooting range nearby, and the SOZO sports complex is just a few short miles away where soccer, lacrosse and Pop Warner football programs play throughout the year.
  • Our family had a fantastic time staying at the coop. Our three-year old daughter spent the weekend exploring the farm property, chasing chickens around the yard, petting and feeding the baby sheep, and trying to convince the neighbor's horses to come over to the fence. She had a blast and made some great memories. The coop itself was a great place to wind down with as-fresh-as-they-get eggs in the fridge, a gas fireplace and a gas stove to cook on. The shelves inside were packed with family board games, books, and toys. The internet was super fast, if that's something you need. Jill and Murray made us feel relaxed and at-home, even during these odd quarantine times. We hope to come back soon!

    Jeff2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We were in a bind due to a family emergency and had to find a place to stay and fast! I felt like I was scrambling to find any place to stay, when I stumbled upon the coop. I was skeptical of course. I mean, a chicken coop?! Who in their right mind.... But boy was I glad we booked the coop. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Murray and the pups. There was a nice fire warming the coop when we walked in, and with the nice lighting and the fire, we felt immediately at home. The space was so stylish, homey, and farmhouse chic. Saying we loved it would be an understatement. Everything was so clean and well put together. We were in heaven. Ps. The farm fresh eggs were amazing and sooooo good! You best believe we will be back to the coop whenever we have to come to Yakima. Book with Murray and Jill - you won’t be disappointed!

    Becky2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at the Coop, after a flight from Liverpool, in a January snowstorm and were kindly introduced to our home away from home. We were greeted and introduced to a delightfully clean and warm accommodation. The Coop is a lovely space to relax, play, cook, enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere and the delightful animals. Our hosts, Murray and Jill, were excellent and suggested great local activities and places to eat. It is a very special place and we will fondly remember the 5 weeks we spent here. We would definitely come again and recommend it highly to others!

    Rebecca2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, kid- and pet-friendly, and a beautiful location looking out at the hills. Our 14-mo old daughter loved exploring the farmyard, chasing chickens and petting the goats.

    Jennifer2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! I loved all the animals around the place and sitting by the fire reading a book while hubby took the dog hunting. So nice to have a little private yard for the dog.

    Mark2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is such an unique experience! If you are a city person like our family and wanted to get an experience out on the farm stay, this is for you! My 2 yr old son got to hangout with the farm animals that he reads about in his books in person. There are chickens, goats, cows, alpachas and horses! The home was very comfortable and warm (Dec.). It is perfect for a family with up to 2 children (there is a kiddo bunk bed) at the corner of the living space. Lots of board games and interesting books to read in the evening next to the fireplace.

    Toby2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed alot of places, and this one is by far the best one ever!! A perfect little House filled with love and details, and the best hosts you could ever imagine! Our kids fell in love with this place, and instantly got that “Home” feeling! As we had to depart, our daughter asked if we could stay forever. These host deeply touches our hearts, and took care of us, as were we a part of their family. The super cool thing about this stay, is the possability to experience all the animals, feed them, pet them, and just take in that lovely atmosphere. So no matter if you are young or old, you will NOT regreat choosing this place in the yakima area! These super hosts are one of a kind! We are going home with memories for life!

    Jane2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • One of my favorite Airbnb’s to date! My husband and I loved our stay at The Coop. When you drive in you may be greeted by the family dogs - just make sure to drive slowly to give them time to make their rounds. Lots of cute animals. We didn’t spend a lot of time with them but you can tell they are well taken care of. Oh and we especially enjoyed watching the Thoroughbreds next door!

Upper Timberline is arguably the nicest area of Packwood--offering a more secluded feel and a stones throw from the Park and skiing. The house is approximately a two minute drive from Highway 12 and is situated at the end of a cul de sac. The house is wooded on three sides so you get the feel as if you're in a forest house.

  • We wanted to visit family but not stay with family, this was perfect for privacy. I never take for granted being able to go to bed and wake up when I want that's for sure! And having tea and coffee in such a cozy house was great. I live for organic and home made things and this house was full of them like a touch from home came with me! Someone did leave the windows unlocked in the 'kid' bedroom and the side door off the kitchen was also unlocked so if you have children just double check to avoid escapes :) will definitely stay again!

    Rachel2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing, magical place full of home made goods and fresh delicious eggs! Views of the canyon are breathtaking.

    Piotr2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This location is so comfortable and familiar, it’s like my art friends from Portland/Seattle moved to Yakima about 10 years ago and invited me to stay with them. When I arrived, my friends weren’t there, but they left me a note telling me to make myself at home. They were even thoughtful enough to leave me some food in the refrigerator. I couldn’t access their wifi and cell access is spotty, so I got to spend an evening perusing their interesting bookshelves, drinking homemade cherry cordial & tea, and watching the bright stars from the patio outlook. The darkness & silence felt as comforting as the quilts and lamps. In the morning I made myself a hearty breakfast, explored the rocks and open landscape, and regretfully packed up to leave. I have stayed in some true gems on AirB&B, but I don’t think I have ever felt so welcomed. I can’t wait to return and see the winery, which seems just as friendly and beautiful.

This cabin is located very close to the Mt. Rainier South park entrance and a short drive to White Pass skiing in the winter. The cabin is cozy and has all of the amenities for a nice stay in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
This cabin sits in a quiet neighborhood cul-d-sac abundant with wildlife. Timberline Village is surrounded by National Forest. Elk and deer are common residents in the neighborhood.
  • A great valued place in a location with a multitude of outdoor opportunities. Less fancy than some of the surrounding cabins, but everything needed for a cozy and adventurous stay exploring the area.

  • Nice and clean cabin. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay.

    Ruoyan2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Really cute cabin, had everything you could need for a weekend getaway. Comfortable bed, nice sheets, and clean bathroom.

  • What I love about this little cabin is that it’s exactly as described. Great for access to White Pass. House has electric heat and wood stove. Went with 3 adults and a child. We filled the space, but were comfortable. Our stay was relatively last minute and the host was great. We would definitely stay again!

    Desiree2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very quick overnight stay but hope to return and stay longer. Very cute, comfortable cabin and well equipped. Location is ideal for White Pass or a Rainier visit in the summer.

    Ron2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect place for unwinding after hiking, hunting, etc. Feels secluded but is only minutes from Packwood. It had everything I needed and it is extremely cozy. I’d definitely stay here again!

My place is 12 miles outside downtown Yakima, 11 miles from Naches, gateway to the East Cascades via White Pass (Highway 12) or Chinook Pass (Highway 410) to Mt. Rainer National Park. My place is particularly good for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers and horse riders, and their furry friends. It is equally good for those traveling from Tacoma over Highway 12. This listing is for RV space only. See my other listing for room in house (I can't list this as 0 beds, but you'll bring your own)
Room to park horse trailer, camper, RV etc. Camping area under the trees w/tent and/or hammock available for extra guests. If you are coming from out of the area, this would be good place to prepare for your trek before hitting the wilderness. Host has done considerable amount of riding/camping in the Wm. O Douglas Wilderness and one pack trip into Gifford Pinochet National Forest.
    quiet country living
  • This was a wonderfully peaceful, comfortable, place to stay during my brief time in Yakima! I loved the view of the open hillside from my window. Watching her 3 lovely horses as they wandered, grazed, and interacted with each other and Judith, brought me a warm, contented feeling. There also was a beautiful alpaca, and many amazing wild birds (including bald eagles, hawks, owls, black-eyed juncos). Judith was warm, accommodating, and gave me the space and privacy that I wanted. I am grateful to Judith for her hosting during my time in Yakima

    True2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Judith was wonderful! It was nice to be away from the busier roads in town, and the RV spot is tucked under some trees at the back end of the property, which gave us some additional peace and privacy. With full water and 30-amp access, we had all of the utilities we needed to stay comfortable in our rig. Judith even let us do laundry inside! We were so glad to have such a great spot to park our bus while we were in Yakima, and Judith was a kind and welcoming host. We hope to be back!

  • Elise's place is extremely clean and thoughtfully designed to fulfil most needs of a traveller. I love the ability to park off street next to the house. The bathroom is GORGEOUS with a beautiful tub (not that common in Air BnBs and I love to soak when I'm travelling for work or study, as a way to restore my health), and two sinks making it really convenient for two travellers. love the separate bedrooms and a comfy couch in the living room with the ability for more sleepers. I LOVE the tastefulness of 100% cotton bedding and the comfort of the mattress in the master bedroom where I slept. Deliciously comfortable. Frankly I find AirBnBs who have 100% polyester bedding to be....tacky, tacky, tacky. This spacious is beautiful, clean, non-odorous, tastefully thought through and appointed, with high quality bedding and a beautiful designed bathroom. My main dissatisfaction was with the limited space for simple cooking. I don't use a microwave because I don't like to zap my food. I would have used a kettle to boil water, but there isn't one. There isn't a sink near the mini kitchen, so anyone wanting to cook simple meals would be pretty challenged unless they relied on junk foods which I try to avoid when I'm travelling. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. I appreciated my host Elise being available for questions I we had any, and giving us space if we didn't. My husband is a builder and designer and he was impressed by the beauty and comfort and design of this, light, spacious apartment. I was impressed at the cleanliness (I am chemically sensitive and there were no errant provoking odors) and the sunny, cheerfulness of the space, even though it is a daylight basement.

  • Elise’s place was great! It was close to a main road, but in a cozy location. Very clean. At night it got cold outside, but they kept the unit at a very comfortable temperature. The living space was very comfortable and the bedrooms were perfect.

The Naches Estates Guest House is close to sports fields, hiking, fishing, biking, wineries and wine tasting, kayaking, river rafting, a skate park, skiing and White Pass and Rainier recreational. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. You have your own private deck with a beautiful view of the valley and hours of bird watching with full use of the pool and hot tub. Our property has a basketball court. There is an outdoor grill available.
We are located close to Yakima and Selah and sit up on a ridge with a lovely view of the valley. The guest house is separated from the main house by another building, so there is a great sense of privacy. The pool and hot tub are seldom used by the owners, so are mostly for your private use. In the summer, there is a second bathroom is the Pool Bathhouse available for your use. The Pool Bathhouse provides a great place to hang wet towels, swimsuits or for the kids to have a restroom while using the pool, without running into your guesthouse. There are floats and toys for the kids in the pool.
Lovely view and great location to all the wineries and everything else the valley offers. Between the pool and the hot tub and surroundings you also may be perfectly content to not even leave the property.
  • Really a nice spot to chill. Great views and super nice people

  • This is one of those reviews you question whether to write...it feels like releasing a unique secret that perhaps be best kept to yourself! This was an exceptional location and host. From the offer of fresh asparagus (just picked from the garden) to augment our dinner, to the delightful conversations with our hosts, we found this a relaxing experience in a wonderful location. The views of the valley from our deck...or the hot tub...were stunning. We had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. We will return.

  • Chris welcomed us even with a last minute booking. It was comfortable and relaxing. The sunrise from the deck was amazing with a chorus of birds happily chirping. The cottage was cozy warm and the beds were super comfortable. Soaking in the sun next to the pool and de-stressing with a soak in the hot tub were exactly what we needed. It felt like an oasis. We will definitely be back. Lovely hosts and friendly pets.

    Amanda2020-04-18T00:00:00Z
