We spent one weekend with a group of 11 in Agnes's beautiful house. It's even cozier than you can imagine from the pictures and ideal for groups. Agnes is a great host, helped us with everything and even welcomed us with cake! We definitely had a great time.

We enjoyed a great weekend with family in Agnes’s house, it surprised us how cozy and warm the place is - it doesn’t fully come through the pictures. We were welcomed with a freshly baked apple pie in the oven that tasted amazing! Thank you :) The house had everything we needed, cutlery, bed linen, even some games. There are beautiful places around to do a hike, run or just enjoy some fresh country air. We hope to be back soon!

This is a great place with plenty of space! If you are looking for a clean and cosy group accommodation in the country - don't hesitate to book this place. Agnes is a good and friendly host and she made sure that everything was taken care of. I was on my own, so I did not have to share anything. But this is really a nice location for family and friends. I'd love to come back! The goats and donkeys on this farm are a bonus. Just lovely.

We had a fantastic girls weekend away, tables were perfect for us 6 artistic gals! Plenty of room to spread out and we all had our own rooms that were clean and comfortable! While there we went to visit the goats and they were so curious and adorable! Plenty of parking for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked and some very tasty treats made by our host upon arrival! We also got an early check in and we were very happy about that, it gave us time to prepare food for everyone before arrival! Lots of personal touches, and we loved the historical pictures! Nights were super quiet and even with the goats right next door we only heard them once!

It was an amazing experience!!! Agnes is a very nice and helping host. The house is very nice, very clean, and has everything one might need away from home. We are soooo thankful to Agnes for being so nice to us and we will definitely return when in the area. Highly recommend this house!!

Agnes' house is very nice and cozy. The kitchen and living room are big enough for big groups. She has thought of everything. There is even a little playground and trampoline for kids. All in all a great place to stay.

De Hut is a nice, cozy, and clean place, me and my sister enjoyed our stay very much. The check in went smooth; even though we did not see Margreeth, the communication via AirBnB was fast and clear. We received a small welcome present when we arrived, which is very kind. The shower is outside of the cottage, but very nice, clean, and private. There are forests close to the camping. Me and my sister made a day walk from Nijverdal to Holten, through the Sallandse Heuvelrug, which was beautiful. The only point of critique is that the wifi connection was not very fast, we tried to stream a movie, but the connection was not strong enough. However, there is a DVD player (and some movies) in the house, and the wifi is definitely good enough to use for smaller tasks like texting. Overall we had a lovely stay at De Hut!

A nice little hut that is well equipped. Everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable. For a holiday in a cold season, you should definitely take slippers. Whereby women often get cold feet;).

Nice stay in an attractive wooden house. The bed slept wonderfully! The living room is nicely furnished with furniture that fits nicely. The beautiful wooded area finishes it off.

Last weekend I was a guest at Angelique in the 'Romantic guesthouse' in Holten. Was really a super weekend, very nice house in a super environment. Nice reception and there were 2 beers with nuts and chips ready. We were given plenty of room and could always go for questions and / or tips. Breakfast we had booked was delicious and very extensive. The spacious' n and check-out times are also great. Angelique again thank you very much

Really a super place to stay. The cottage is really nice on the edge of a forest with horses around you. In the cottage everything is present and tidy. Nice bed and wonderful to wake up in the morning with only the sound of singing birds. A nice terrace for your house where rabbits can be seen jumping around, squirrels and deer in the forest. On arrival there were 2 beers and nuts ready for us. We immediately felt very welcome because of the warm welcome from Angelique. We will definitely come and enjoy this beautiful place.

FH in a beautiful location. Nicely designed and renovated. Nothing was missing and the hostess received us very friendly and provided important information. Deventer with its small shops is highly recommended.

The house is secluded in an area surrounded by woods, which makes it very special. Beautiful view into the garden. Sauna was perfect for the rainy and stormy winter days!

Lovely place with a view of many trees, squirrels and of course fresh air. Enough beautiful places to walk in the area (a car is handy for the start) and afterwards it is nice to relax in Pieter's sauna and near the wood-burning stove. A wonderfully spacious living room where two families can easily stay. We enjoyed this place and the area.

We, 5 girlfriends, enjoyed a long weekend away. It is a wonderful house with a wood stove and sauna. The kitchen is fine with dishwasher and microwave, although we found the number and size of the pans not sufficient for an 8-person house. We really missed a large (soup) pan. The living room is comfortable, the beds are wonderful and the cottage is good to heat. Pieter is easily accessible and responds quickly. When we encountered a problem it was immediately resolved and as a good friend we also got a nice bottle of wine.

Together with my six friends, we had an incredibly pleasant stay. All rooms clean and equipped found, everything worked, there were no problems. We felt right at home. Thanks, for this home experience!

Pieter's cottage is really cozy and the location is super. Very quiet, lots of privacy. Nice villages nearby and great opportunities for hiking in the area. Recommended!

Pleasant cottage in a quiet holiday park with a nice private garden, which is much larger than the pictures suggest. Many corners in the garden to sit in, both in the shade and in the sun, even covered sitting is possible. So also nice in warm weather or rain. Cottage is nicely furnished, well equipped with kitchenware and a nice bed.

This is a cottage in prime location! Lovely in the forest with many different birds (woodpeckers, great tits, tree stickers, jays, etc.) and squirrels. There is a beautiful garden with many different plants. The cottage is furnished with a beautiful kitchen with all the trimmings and a wonderful shower. Find your peace and relaxation ......... spend a few days here!

A nice place in the woods with all the amenities you need. A wonderfully soft mattress and a clean shower. The squirrels show themselves regularly and birds fly in and out. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the freedom to check in and out at any time was very nice ... A must!

Lovely house with large garden with privacy. Environment is beautiful you are so on the Sallands hill. Complete kitchen and very neat. A cozy cottage in a beautiful setting. The fantastic forest around it provides an oasis of peace. Ideal for families and walking groups. We as a walking group have really enjoyed it, with the wonderful sauna as a dessert on the already delicious cake!

Wonderful place! The log cabin is really beautiful, surrounded by greenery, lots of birds and very quiet. You walk directly on beautiful hiking trails and you are also at the village, train station and nice eateries. The log cabin is very clean and very complete in terms of kitchen utensils, etc. and you really have the idea of being away from civilization .. Contact with the friendly landlords went very smoothly and also gave useful tips. We come back!

A lovely cottage in the middle of the forests of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. Friendly welcome with clear explanation. A wonderful place to enjoy nature: rustling trees, bird sounds and squirrels. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need is there! Several hiking trails start within a short walk from the cottage. I myself walked the green route, a must! Unfortunately, I was only here for a short time, so I'd love to come back again!

To find the peace we went to this place in Holten. A beautiful location, beautiful nature. You hear many birds singing and have spotted a squirrel in the garden. There are more than enough places to sit in the sun or shade. The weather was good so we did not make much use of the facilities inside. The kitchen was fully equipped, bed was good and the shower was fine. We received a nice walking route as a tip that you should definitely do! It is a super nice piece of the Netherlands. We are happy to come back for more than 3 days and have already passed this property as a tip to friends and family. A must!

Had a very nice weekend away. Nice and secluded, but still in the vicinity of the owner if there was something. Warm welcome and nice explanation about what was useful in the cottage and to do in the area. The space is wonderful. Equipped with all the comforts in the kitchen, simple but effective bathroom and the living room is cozy with comfortable couch, good TV with good connection for netflix etc. and a lovely gas stove. All in all the weekend we had hoped for: D

Together with my daughters and our dog we had a wonderful weekend in Maarkels most beautiful. What a nice place, completely for yourself. With three spacious bedrooms, each with two beds. A spacious bathroom, a very cozy living room with personal details. The kitchen is very well equipped, only the oven was a bit too small for the meals we wanted to prepare. That didn't spoil the fun. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the surroundings. Brigitte is a very nice, attentive hostess who will let you nice, but is ready when needed. Recommended!!!

A place where time seems to stand still and you can fully unwind despite the hectic pace of the day. The B&B is tastefully decorated and the hospitality of Brigitte is like a warm welcome blanket that falls over you. Big plus I think the beds sleep wonderfully with good firm mattresses. We have opted for the ultimate indulgence and have been able to enjoy a delicious breakfast for 2 days. The delicious pan of soup indicates that Brigitte will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can therefore heartily recommend this B&B.

Charming little house in a campground, which however in high season MIGHT be rather noisy. When we were there, it was really quiet, which we really needed.

The accommodation was very nice and the apartment equipment brand new. Check in was easy and easy. We had very nice days and can imagine coming back. Small suggestion: more plates (deep plates, dessert plates) otherwise the kitchen equipment for 5 people was quite good. The accommodation is definitely recommended.

What a wonderful place is the house of Carla and Marcel in Holten. We slept there for 4 nights with our 2 children. The kitchen was great equipped with everything you need to cook well. The house was also wonderfully clean, with a beautiful garden and a wonderful sauna. Because it was quite cold when we were there we mainly started to explore the area instead of enjoying the garden. For example, we visited the children's farm in Holten, really great for small children. We also visited Deventer for a day (what a crazy city) and we went to the Apenheul. Every evening we came back to the lovely house, with cozy candles and personal items everywhere. We immediately felt at home. For small children it is useful to bring camp beds. We will certainly be back!

Stayed here during Easter. Marcel and Carla have a very cozy house with a spacious garden around it, sauna there was great! Location in the middle of nature is also great! Certainly recommended for a long weekend.

What a great house. Sauna, mencave with pool table and dart board, spacious living room and kitchen and beautiful bedroom with good beds. Outside you can lounge under the canopy or in the hot tub under the starry sky. The area is beautiful, both for walkers and cyclists. You do not want to miss this.
