We meet in the borough with the highest concentration of artists on the strip where a massive mural festival is held yearly. We're going to be hitting the streets of the Plateau Mont-Royal to check out anywhere between 20 - 30 works of art. The murals range from 2 - 9 storeys tall. We'll be learning about the artists, the message and different techniques as well as about Montreal street art and graffiti scene. We'll take to the smaller back streets and alleyways to cover some hidden gems and just might witness some live work. Here we will discover some installations and different types of guerilla art as well as get to know some of our graffiti writers and crews a bit better. For those who want to know how to start to make magnificent tricotage/knitwear We would meet at my place, cozy colorful apartment in Verdun. And then the magic begins. I will show how to chose the yarn, chose the knitting needles, how to plan your final result; and we going to start from the very beginning to knit. From the simplest technique. Nothing hard but very fascinating activity for family, friends, or maybe for coworkers ;) The introduction to knitting takes 2 hours. In 2 hours you'll learn how to start the item, 2 different types of stitches. And we'll start your first scarf. All you need is just to book the Experience and enjoy, I’m going to provide all you need. You will leave with basic knowledge of knitting, the piece of your future scarf with knitting needles and possibility to practice and finish your item.

Welcome to my Bob Ross painting class! Great for groups, teams, and great for team-building! As well as individual or couples :) When you arrive at my Home/Studio, I will start with introductions, then explain the whole process which is a, “Step by Step” scenario from start to finish. I will continually guide and direct you ensuring that you are always caught up and happy with your painting each step of the way. Once complete we will take a few photos, if you would like and then finish off with giving you your Bob Ross participation certificate. IMPORTANT NOTES: Please note that this is a professionally run painting class, not like a paint and sip and runs anywhere from 4-7 hours depending on the individuals, as everyone paints at a different pace and level. ALSO: Please be aware that I do have a cat in the house but does not go down where the studio is located for anyone with any “allergies” etc, and…… If you have any wrist, arm, neck, or shoulder issues etc, please be aware that you are painting at your own discretion as the class involves using these members greatly, finally …. Our outdoor workshop takes place during a rejuvenating 4 hour nature hike on the trails of a 100,000 acre conservatory gem with flora ranging from old-growth forest to seasonal food plants. We will uncover new worlds of uncultivable, wild edible & medicinal plants in their natural forest state. We seek a multitude of delicious edibles (when in season) such as Yellow Chanterelles, Black Trumpet and Cinnabar Chanterelles, Hedgehogs, Boletes, Oysters and my personal favorite - Lobster Mushrooms. Growth is weather and seasonal dependent. You will learn to identify these and other seasonal edibles such as specific growth edible mushrooms, and will be introduced to spore printing. For edible and medicinal plants we will talk about identification, herbal actions , processes and recipes that will stock your natural medicine cabinet or infuse your foods with delicious flavors. In the spirit of respect for the bio-system we will explore, you will be introduced to ethical harvesting, long term sustainability and propagation for future generations.

After measuring your finger size (if the ring is for someone else, you must know the finger size or bring a ring the person already own), you will saw, sand, file, solder and form the metal into a ring. Finally, you will end your project by polishing your ring to get a shiny, satin or mat finish. Note: this experience entails playing with a torch and fire to solder. If you are afraid of fire, this step might be a little challenging. Have no worries, we can help you master fire or just skip this step. We got your back! On this tour of Montreal's downtown, we will explore what used to be the Red Light’s district. I'm inviting you to revisit the naughty part of our city’s history. We will look into the crimes scene and the sex work of Montreal from the 1920’s to the 1950’s. The short itinerary will make us pass thru the entertainment’s district of Montreal, mainly on St-Laurent street and Ste-Catherine street. We will discuss about the impact of the prohibition on our city that led Montreal to be known as the Sin City of the North or the Paris of North America. Among different adult subjects, we will discuss about the drug trade, the gambling industry, sex work, brothel activities and the famous criminals of Montreal. We will also talk about the different morality squads that fought crimes and corruptions that led to the late closing of the Red Light district. We will also observe the transformation that occurred in the entertainment’s district, a still vibrant part of our beloved city.
