Lucia was an extraordinary host -- she has an amazing and beautiful AirBnB apartment -- stay there as a home base to visit Alatri, Frascati, Frosinone, Caserta... and even Rome. From Alatri we had an easy drive to Sorrento/Capri! The AirBnB apartment that Lucia hosts is beautiful, with all amenities you would want. She welcomed us with information about Alatri's history, homemade jam, great prosecco, and lots of options for breakfast. A charming host -- we would definitely return ... Mille grazie Lucia!

The apartment is a true home from home and has everything you need to live like a local in Alatri. Lucia also left us supplies for breakfast and her delicious homemade limoncello.

The home of Lucia enjoys an exceptional location, being situated in the main square of Alatri, a few meters from the pubs and restaurants, the Municipality and the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore. The apartment is divided on two floors and has just been renovated and well furnished. Lucia and her husband turned out to be most helpful and friendly owners, ready to meet our needs and to help us in difficulty. They provided a full house of what is necessary to spend the night and for breakfast, gave us advice on what to visit and welcomed in a manner available. The only flaw? We have been too little, we should come back!

This is a great place to stay. Though we arrived a lot later than expected, Stefania's family really made us feel right at home and even provided a crib, chair, tub and fresh sheets and towels for our 6 month old baby. All the necessary amenities are available. There was even some toast, homemade marmelade and Italian coffee (including a moka machine) to welcome us. The house was spotless as far as cleanliness and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space - both inside and outside. The pictures really don't do the house or the neighborhood justice. The house is part of a small cluster of buildings with a labyrinth of tiny alleys that offer surprising views around each corner. The first picture shown on Airbnb is not the view from the house. From the house however you have a beautiful view of the valley and sunsets paint the sky a deep orange/purple. We stayed for a week during the summer and enjoyed the house and the location so much that we wanted to extend our stay if we would have had the time. As mentioned in other reviews; the neighbors are also very nice and ready to answer your questions even when you don't speak their language. Great price for the value. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a fabulous view from the kitchen window. You can get a bit of sunshine on the balcony or the terrace. It is a short drive from Arpino itself. We did see people walking but did not try it ourselves. We always found a parking space in Arpino. The kitchen was well equipped for four people, and the owners had left milk, biscotti, biscuits, homemade jam, honey, oil, vinegar, teas and coffee - wonderful. We had a lovely time.

We were at our expected happened. The neighbors came to see us! Were knowledgeable about the places to see, visit and services nearby. Accueuil beautiful, safe and conviviable.

We had a delightful stay with Lorella in her charming country house. Because we have no Italian, Lorella arranged for her English friend Anna to greet and farewell us, which worked very well. Ana and Carla were great. I loved the location of the house, and how they welcome our 1 year old daughter. They even got her a crib. Ana also came out with us for dinner one night and she is just a really sweet person. The little house was Cozy, and we had it all for. Ourselves. You can also hear the River.

Everything went very well, no surprise. The center of St Elia is 10/15 minutes walk, the apartment is quiet and we lacked nothing. I have not had time to cross Carla having arrived just at the last moment but his mom (if I'm not mistaken) welcomed us on a tour and handed the keys.

Again I can confirm that Carla's place is piece of heaven. Really quiet, spacious and confortable, we've enjoyed the outside table listening the river. Everything is new and well done inside the house. Thank you and see you next time!

We enjoyed staying in this house. It is in a nice village, with a small supermarket and a bar, where we walked to every morning to have a cappuccino. It was a very convenient base for visiting relatives in the region. The only problem was the neighbourhood dogs often barked at night.

We got a little lost trying to find the place, we stopped at a shop to ask directions. No one spoke english, but we worked out that they wanted us to follow them. They drove us right to the house. Anna does not speak English as it says on the profile, but communication was not a problem. She even did our washing for us, which was amazing as we were travelling with a 10 month old. They even supplied a cot. Great experience, very rural.

Man, we loved this apartment in Arpino! (we being my GF and me). The host did everything possible to facilitate a great time and was very responsive. I can recommend this apartment highly! One small note: the shower was a little bit slow to drain so we had to put in a towel dam to make sure the room didn't overflow (that's what Dutch people do, right, building dams ;) ). But this was a very minor incident, not worthy of diminishing the rating to less than 5/5! Also it showed the helpfulness and responsiveness of Omar, so kudos to him for that!

Omar was away on his honeymoon, but left Giacomo to take care of things. Giacomo was very helpful and picked me up from the station and offered help for my stay. The apartment was charming and it was clear that it has been restored with great taste and attention to detail.

The apartment is small but very cute. The big problem is that there is a major renovation going on in the nearby house and crazy noise starts at 7 am.

It felt like we stayed in a little historic home (perfect for couples) with a beautiful and spacious kitchen and an upstairs bedroom with a small but good bathroom. The home is laced floor-to-ceiling with beautiful and historic details – from paintings, furniture, and tiles, to the faucets and stovetop. The house is situated on the peninsula of Arpino, next to one of the oldest churches. There is not much of a view from inside but you only have to step out of the door to be enthralled by this gorgeous city. Our host Omar was very nice, helpful, and responsive to our messages. We were late for our check-in and he was still friendly and kind as he waited for us in the main piazza. Then we walked together to the house where he showed us all the amenities. After that we only contacted him about check-out time. We visited during the heat of the summer. The thick walls protect you from the blistering heat but occasionally we wished for air-conditioning. With a fireplace, electric heaters, and thick blankets the house looks very well equipped for colder winter days!

The apartment is exactly as described by Bruno, it is not big but very cozy, warm, complete with all the necessary and sufficient for five people. Surely we hope to return to this apartment, given the hospitality and the kindness of Bruno and Flavia throughout our stay.

We arrived during the festivals of the village and we found ourselves stranded in the center while traffic was limited ... Bruno us help to get us out of there and took his time, this is the least that the we can say! Be careful around August 17 restricted traffic in the center. Furthermore, it is necessary to park out of the center. Parking lots are located nearby and it does not seem difficult to find places outside large crowds around the 15th of August. Overall great stay in a beautiful area of Abruzzo where there are lots of activities to do, we would have liked to stay longer. To recommend !

how can I get started, let's see perhaps saying that the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the house. Bruno and Flavia were some great people since our arrival even though we were late we have been able to better accommodate the 5-star hotel. As already I said the house was small but nice and cozy, perfect break from the busy city. If one day I go back definitely would look for the same house. My husband and I had an incredible time at Via Piana. Not only was our stay enjoyable and relaxing, both Anna and her landlord made us feel welcome and at home. We were looking for a retreat from noisy Naples, and our weekend in Pescosolido was exactly what we needed. The room we stayed in was cozy and rustic, and the communal kitchen provides ample space for cooking and relaxing with a cup of coffee. Upon arrival, Anna provided a great list of activities available to us, and we chose to go hiking and exploring Abruzzi National Park. The area is breathtaking, and Anna goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. Her dog, Neve, was also very sweet and a joy to have around. We will certainly make a point to return!

After a few days in Rome and loud trubligen the stay was a perfect counterpoint to Anna. Great, room, delicious wine (homemade!), Pretty terrace with views of the city and surrounding mountains Sora and a very nice and knowledgeable hostess. We will be back!

Italy Country Stay was great! The property has a beautiful view, the rooms recently renovated yet rustic, and Anna is a real treat! Anna, myself, and other guests shared dinner most nights, all of which were delicious and healthy. Wine and olive oil is made on the property, and up the street, a local Shepard makes fresh ricotta. There are a few hikes to explore and the city of Sora is not too far and definitely worth spending a day in. It's also very easy to get to from Rome. It's definitely a nice change of pace from the large cities and allows you to experience a different side of Italy.

Only able to stay a night but had a great short stay. Enjoyed the atmosphere and great fresh pizza in the evening. Anna was very accommodating for our family - two boys ag(URL HIDDEN)and we'll definitely stay again next time we make our way to abruzzo national park.

It was wonderful. Prior to Anna has (speaks German and many other languages) answered all the questions and made prior to our arrival contact via SMS. By Collection Sora you really need a car. The bus driver on the spot worked well, without supplies Italian Kenntisse some adventure factor. Via Piana is fantastic in a wide valley, the panorama is seldom so great. The room was great, the community kitchen is well equipped. The first night we (vegetarian for 11 €) eaten on a super friendly Biofarm. We liked the cooking himself and mostly outside then eat but better. Anna has gegebn us many tips, maps itself drawn UDN a folder with excursions into the surrounding Umgebeung created and was always there for help and advice available. More authentic can man / woman not go on holiday!

Via Piana is an amazing place to see another side side of Italy, apart from the crowded monuments. I am currently an au pair in Rome (which is an amazing city, but it is a city and rather bustling and cosmopolitan) and wanted to retreat to the countryside for a weekend. It is beautiful here. You are literally IN the mountains with gorgeous views from every side. It is relaxing in every way – Anna even picks you up from the station. This was perfect since I didn’t have a car, just took the bus from Rome (a bit less than two hours and a beautiful drive). My room was typical rustic Italian: tile floor, whitewashed walls, and beautiful wood details. Being November, it was a little chilly, but thick stone walls kept it amazingly well insulated and Anna gave me lots of warm blankets. There is a beautiful new kitchen where I got to cook my meals (there is a grocery store a five minute walk away, or you can go down into Sora). There is a wonderful sense of community there, with a farm stay nearby and people stopping by to say hello. There are beautiful walks on the mountain roads and breathtaking hikes in the hills. It is altogether relaxing and restoring. I hope to visit again while I’m nearby!

To get to the slopes today, approx three minutes by car and is close to the slopes near the apartment that we never had trouble finding the place. Super recommended and will definitely return!
