Charming Beach House along the Ocean

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other. Walk only a few steps out the door and take a dip into natural pools or enjoy a refreshment at Pico’s award winning Cella Bar. Your host will welcome you with some cheese and wine, giving you a taste of the Acores and getting your palate ready for delicious island food.

Quinta-Casa da Pipas Winery

Relax to the sound of nature in this calm and elegant space, enjoying a pool, Jacuzzi and sauna on a farm with a paradisiacal view of Vila da Madalena, the sea and Faial Island, and benefit from the pedestrian walks with a view of the Pico mountain. Our accommodations are located 2 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot from Vila da Madalena, and include a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed. You can enjoy a sauna and a fire pit.

'Vivenda Chã'

This is a detached house with 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds), 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen, dining room and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils a chef could need. Vivenda Chã is ideally located, allowing easy access to explore the wonders of Faial Island. From the world-famous Capelinhos Volcano, to the beautiful Levada and Caldeira trails or the charming and picturesque villages with local shops and restaurants.

Grandfather Francisco's House

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.

Ocean view in UNESCO Heritage Site

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Casa do Chafariz

House for 2 people. Located in Varadouro, the perfect summer spot on the island of Faial, a stunning view of the sea. Very close to Varadouro's natural pools, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Located in a quiet area and close to many trails and areas of interest of the island such as Caldeira or Volcano dos Capelinhos.

You will find this holiday home at Porto Calhau - only a 10 minutes drive from Madalena. There is one big bedroom for 5 people ( 1 double bed, and a bunk bed for 3 people), one living room with a kitchenette, bathroom with a shower and a toilette. It also has a terrace where you can enjoy beautiful sunset.
