  • We loved our two night's stay at Piercy Suites. Sue is a wonderful, responsive host. Loves the personal touches like the notes she left for is and the suggestions of what to do in the area. We attended a wedding Saturday night at the Langlois Cheese Factory venue. It is an amazing space for a wedding. Thank you Sue for your hospitality. Sue W

  • Sue’s rental was very much a diamond in the rough. I was on a short overnight trip on the coast from Bend, and after being completely creeped out by every single hotel along the coast, the stumbled across Sue’s rental and it checked all the boxes. Couldn’t have been any easier to get to than right along the highway. Simple, & very clean. The bed was comfortable after hiking most of the day, and the shower felt great. Had I not found Sue’s rental, I 100% wouldn’t have made the trip to the coast.

  • Nice, clean room, well equiped. Just by the highway so easy to find and the streetnoise is acceptable. Good tips and information about things to do. Nice little town with friendly atmosphere.

  • I loved how cute this place was. Although it was a little loud, it didn’t bother me. It was perfect for us to get back on the road the next day. Thank you for being available and for hosting us.

  • Great place to stay! Sue is very warm and welcoming!

    Kayla2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place is awesome for a confortable stay on the coast. It is walking distance from some restaurants and stores and is in a very beautiful stretch of the Oregon coast. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean too

  • Sue is a wonderful host! Who is very attentive! Would definitely stay at her property again!

    Katy2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a quaint little spot on the coast. There is a great market and restaurant nearby, as well as a farm stand up the valley on Saturdays that you don't want to miss! The room was clean and well stocked with lots of nice towels, TV, a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as silverware and plates. A little home away from home. It is on the hwy so there is noise during the day and early evening, but I wasn't in the room for most of that. Between 11p-7a it was quiet. I slept well in a great bed. Thank you Sue!

The cottage sits on a 10 acre parcel of what used to be an old sheep ranch. It’s a special peaceful healing place Please leave a stone or shell at the center of our Native American medicine wheel garden with an intention for peace. The cottage is a clean environment with organic food products -including local eggs, bread, peanut butter, local jams, snacks, juice, tea and coffee for breakfast; bath products; mattress, sheets, towels, blankets, and even the paint!
The cottage is lovely, minimal and very warm and welcoming. We have lots of plants. We try to keep things simple to help you decongest. You should have everything you need. It is a clean environment free of chemicals and toxins. This is a space to detox mind body and soul. We leave you breakfast items for you to help yourself- which usually consists of local eggs, granola, bread, peanut butter, local jams, juice, snacks, some sort of non- dairy milk, fruit if it’s in season, coffee and tea :) we also have salt and pepper sugar and organic olive oil! The cottage kitchen works great (except the oven! The stove top works but not the oven!) and many of our guests go to the local markets for food (local caught seafood too- most of the tuna and rockfish you’ll get in San Francisco or other cities on the coast came from Port Orford) and make all their meals here There is a rustic outdoor space outside the cottage that I built myself that is private neat place to read and relax! It’s nothing fancy but definitely allows you to get outside in fair weather! You are also welcome to use the hot tub on the main deck. You are also welcome to use the Washer dryer in the main house. And you can roam the gardens and the 10 acres- I have a huge herb garden (Help yourself) orchard and a medicine wheel garden too for the spirit Please consider that we do not have WiFi and some guests have not received good cell service here! Also please consider that the bath has curtains as the separation. There are no doors! This might make some guests uncomfortable! Also, please consider we have one queen bed and if necessary, I can make up a little bed on the floor from an organic futon mattress topper. It’s the size of a twin. One adult or two small children sleep on it comfortably! Also! We have a very bright happy and loving 15 pound King Charles spaniel with a wonderful spirit! If she gets out of the house she might come up and try to say hi! Please let us know before you arrive if this makes you uncomfortable and we will do our best to make sure she’s on leash at all times during your stay:)
Great place to eat: the Spoon!! Amazing farm to table restaurant Coffee- Billy’s coffee shop called floras creek coffee co right in town -he roasts his own coffee - it’s delicious Market- the langlois market is a family owned business that’s in its third generation- you can use a growler in the cottage and fill it up for 5$ of good beer or less $ for Kombucha - good for a quick lunch Port Orford for Port Orford local food co-op And valley flora produce for “pick your own produce” just a couple miles away! Location -5 minutes from route 101 -5 miles from the ocean -10 miles north from Port Orford beach -15 miles south of Bandon Points of interest -Coquille Point (10 miles; one of the most beautiful beaches in the US) -Bandon Dunes Golf Course (15 miles -a top golf resort http://bandondunesgolf.com) -Floras Lake Wind Surfing (5 miles one of the best wind surfing locations) -Blacklock point 10 miles -Cape Blanco 10 miles -Redwoods -2 hours south To do -Hiking -Surfing (I know the spots) -Some Mountain biking (it's growing); beautiful road biking and beach biking -Horse riding (two different beaches within 10 minutes to bring your horse and ride and also stables nearby. Check with me if you can bring your horse and keep them in the fenced garden area because I might have horses here) -Shopping - local artists -Music- Langlois has a great music scene - ask whether anythings happening at the Old Cheese Factory Please don't hesitate to ask :)
  • This property is the perfect example of what an Airbnb should be! AMAZING location, WONDERFUL host, and GREAT place to stay! The value? Unbeatable! The peace of this place is filling and will make your day. We had the opportunity to hang out with the host and it was so comforting to be able to have a real yet casual conversation with someone. The town of Langlois is nice to drive around and there is plenty of nature to see! TOTALLY recommended.

  • I highly recommend Shannon's home. The room was comfortable and the hot tub was clean. It was easy to find and had beautiful views of the ocean. Communication was great and we were greeted with delicious treats from Coastal Mist for my girlfriend's birthday! I will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

    Dan2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation or a new adventure. The hosts are amazingly accommodating, sweet and friendly. We enjoyed the views, the hot tub and being surrounded by plants-inside and out!

  • Great place, really friendly hosts, and lovely area.

    Jesse2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy and cozy, the remote place is peaceful and very quiet (aside from the fridge being a bit loud in the room). Theres no wifi but the hosts turned off the outside lights so my girlfriend and I could sit in their hottub under the stars. A beautiful place to get away.

    Ethan2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Really sweet cottage with tons of personal touches and perks. Loved all of the fresh herbs and eggs provided and the gorgeous claw foot tub was cool perk! Wish the bathroom was a tad more closed off, but we knew what we were getting ourselves into, so it was a fun adventure.

    Alex2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so warm and inviting. We enjoyed the friendliness and coziness of this cottage and hosts.

  • This cabin stay was so lovely. The energy of the space was just what we needed. It was clean, had a beautiful view, there were so many thoughtful touches such as complementary snacks and a candle near the bathtub.

We are a 40 acre ranch near the coast. If you want a motel stay this isn’t it. We also have small private campground on site where we value privacy. This is one of our glamping sites. We are tucked next to some foothills with tall trees, creek and seasonal pond with walking trails. A bundle of firewood is included in stay. House has an electric heat for cool times. Coffee/tea/cocoa provided as well.
It’s a quiet spot on the property with privacy on deck and fire area. The bathrooms are a short walk from the Hobbit House and outdoor showers just across from the bathroom. These amenities are also shared with other guests on occasion. We have a small private campground on site where we value PRIVACY.
We are out of town with country feel but centrally located to many activities. We can be difficult to find at night so take note when booking this stay. We like people to check in during daylight so you can find us.
  • The Hobbit House is absolutely magic! Hours were spent just watching the trees through the skylight. It’s just a short trip up to Bandon, but we didn’t even bother. We just enjoyed the peace and beauty of this space as much as possible. Can’t wait to come back!

  • Wonderful place! Super cute hobbit house, lovely ranch, and excellent hosts! Heather was super helpful with suggestions on local spots to check out. The sky light above the bed in the hobbit house was one of our favorites, as well as the outdoor shower. Very pleasant visit!

    Gail2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of a spot. One to remember. I felt like I was in The Hobbit! Thank you Heather!

    Hilary2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We booked Heathers place on the day as a last minute stay. She responded very quickly and when needed. The place was great, so cosy and exactly how it reads. Heather even offered tips as we carried on our road trip. Would definitely stay again.

    Joe2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • The hobbit house is a tiny home that falls under the glamping category. Nestled into the trees with a skylight, the morning view from bed with light filtering through the coastal forest was magical. Modern outhouse and outdoor shower (with propane water heaters) was a refreshing start to the day of driving.

    Aaron2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful evening staying at the hobbit house, the setting was beautiful and the thoughtful touches from Heather and Nathan made the stay perfect.

Picture yourself under the pines, in a place where you can see a gazillion stars..imagine a hammock swaying in the breeze while you doze off listening to nothing but the wind in the trees. Featuring coffee with goats this unique luxury farmstay experience has a kitchenette, an electric fireplace, comfy plush bed, an outdoor fire pit, plus an amazing HOT outdoor shower & plenty of sweet critters running around. Ten minuets from toes in the sand, come see why guests are raving about theHideout!
theHideout is a fully stocked top of the line Lotus Belle Tent featuring a kitchenette and a hot outdoor shower. This awesome glamping getaway is stocked with everything we could think of to make every experience perfect. The very comfortable queen bed and electric fireplace make the space cozy and warm, on a perfect day open the windows and doors, enjoy the breeze, hear the wind through the trees. We provide fresh chemical free linens, shampoo, conditioner, and soap and exclusive use of a porta john toilet. Ice for the full sized cooler is available upon request for conservation purposes and fresh eggs are provided for every stay from our farm. A rest in a hammock or lighting a toasty bonfire are great ways to settle in for the evening in the forest. WiFi now available!! Although we love animals (especially dogs!!) we can not allow pets to accompany any guest during their stay (excluding service animals) to ensure biosecurity for our farm animals. We have many feathered and furry residents and they don’t enjoy strange animals in their space. This is a standing policy for every reservation. The area is quiet and private, set away from the house and into the woods, while the tent is visible from the back of our home when guests occupy the space we strive to provide as much privacy as possible. Sometimes we must check on livestock and we do live here but where the tent sits is based entirely on what is best for the experience, location wise. Tucked into the hill the space enjoys a natural wind block that allows for warmer temperatures and less wind -plus peek through views of the ocean! Our house is situated so it faces north and we do not look down that way at all during our daily go-abouts.
Tiny Langlois is a blink and you miss it -but don’t miss it!! sort of place. Home to tourist favorite, The Langlois Market and deli. Our little community boasts a top notch coffee house and The Spoon -a gem of a farm to fork diner which sources most of it’s ingredients from only a few miles away. We also have a small farmers market every Sunday in season and a few local places sponsor live music events all year long. Bandon and Port Orford are about a 15 minute drive North and South. Our neighborhood, the Old Sheep Ranch, is a private community of large acreage forested plots with lots of space. It’s very quiet and there is a beautiful expansive view of the ocean. We are ten minuets from toes in the sand.
  • If you are looking for the perfect Coast get away this is the place. Even in mid February the structure was warm cozy and inviting. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!

  • This is a real Harry Potter tent! Truly magical space with so many thoughtful touches. Even though we visited in the middle of January, and a rain storm, we were so comfortable, warm and cozy in the lotus belle. Perfect spot for my boyfriend and I to get away from it all and spend some meaningful time with each other.

    Haley2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Simply amazing! You can’t go wrong with this magical place.. TRUST me. It was my second time visiting and I can’t wait to return for a third time!

  • theHideout was great! As described, and comes with everything you need for a proper glamping experience. I stayed during the middle of December and there was a high wind advisory, but the tent held strong throughout high gusts of wind. This spacious tipi sits in a pasture on a hill with panoramic views of the river below. We've got two comfy queen beds inside and a cozy smoke-free gas fire pit adds warmth and ambiance. The hot outdoor shower and outhouse also have excellent views. Just 15 minutes from Bandon. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3VRhmAuNMHc&feature=youtu.be
  • really a interesting experience! Worth trying ! the tipi is SO beautiful and unparalleled view! Daemain is so kindful and handsome ~ perhaps we will comeq back next Vacation

  • I don't know if we stopped smiling. From our arrival up the driveway past the lamas; the first glimpse of the river from behind the tipis, to pulling the flap open and being way surprised at how much space is in a tipi. Lighting the gas fire pit, and watching your beautiful girlfriend's shadows dance on the tipi walls... I laughed at the beautifully crafted outhouse and actually enjoyed using it, as I admired the weather proof tp containers made from coffee cans. Its fun x fun. Thats fun squared. Everyone needs a night in a tipi!

  • I took my daughters on an an "end of summer" field trip and we made the goal of the trip to experience new and unusual places. We were lucky enough to find a bus to stay in, a tree house, and finally a tipi! I can say without a doubt, the tipi was something to remember! Daemian was extremely friendly and greeted us warmly.. showed us around and helped us get settled.. the girls fell in love with the alpacas (even naming each of them after Harry Potter characters). Personally, my favorite part was the outside shower.. I am not kidding when I say that it was one of the best showers of my life.. cool ocean breeze and warm water and views to die for. We ended up sitting on the hill, looking at the sunset before heading inside and having a fire while we read before bed. Of course, the first thing the kids wanted to do in the morning was feed the animals and all I could do was bask in the view with a fresh coffee.. Thank you so much for a wonderful memory. We'll be back.

    Craig2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • This Tipi is such an amazing place to stay! Could not have been more pleasant. We loved the coffee in the AM, comfy beds, alpacas, and most especially the beautiful scenery. What a unique experience -- we would love to come back!

    Zach2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Do it, stay here, do not pass go, do not collect 200.00.....this place has the monopoly of it all. Great bed, views and unique experience....with alpaca! Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back with the kids in the future.

    Kristen2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience! Not only was the accommodation unique and very clean and well decorated, but the view from the property, the fun alpacas and seeing the Milky Way really made the trip here incredibly special. Would highly recommend!!

This artistically-crafted, coastal cottage provides an uplifting and peaceful space to relax and explore. Located walking distance to beautiful beaches, the local co-op, and several restaurants and bars, this unique cottage offers the perfect getaway for those who want to slow down the pace and lose themselves in stunning coastal beauty. We heartily welcome folks from all backgrounds and walks of life, to come enjoy a slice of artistic heaven along the southern Oregon coast. *Pet friendly $10
This 600 sq ft cottage was built in 1931 and was brought back to life again in 2017. 75% of materials used to remodel this sweet space were salvaged and every inch is dedicated to tasteful, unique craftsmanship. It sits atop a hill that divides the coastline into two distinct beaches: Battle Rock Beach--perfect for surfing or beach combing, and Dog Beach where you can let your four-leggeds run free. Both are a block away from the cottage. Depending on your preference for cuisine, you're either a stone's throw from "Crazy Norweigan's" for the best fish and chips around, or two blocks away from a fine dining experience at "Red Fish." The local co-op (open Wed-Sat) is right around the corner and the Saturday Farmer's Market is in full effect. Some details you might find helpful: The heat source is a mini split heat pump to keep the space toasty warm A washer and dryer Custom lighting and dimmers in every room Claw-foot bathtub 2 queen-sized beds Berkey water filter in the kitchen Full fridge and freezer Private, fenced back yard Flower garden in front Bikes upon request Some of the precious wood that was salvaged and used to restore this cottage: Port orford cedar Red cedar Redwood (table tops) Maple Fir (old growth trim salvaged) Yew Manzanita ** the cottage is pet friendly, although we do ask for a $10 extra cleaning fee, which can be deposited in the envelope provided** A lot of love and creativity has been put into this unique space and I look forward to sharing it with all of you!
The neighborhood overlooks both the dock, as well as Battlerock Beach. Often times it gets windy here in Port Orford, but the Wee Bird is somewhat protected by trees from North and South. Crazy Norwegians fish hut is less than a block away if you're looking for some of the best fish and chips, and if you are looking for fine dining that overlooks the ocean, then Redfish is the place. Dont worry if you want to have just one more drink, you are only a few minutes walk away and can check out the view on the way. If you want to fish, kayak, surf, or beachcomb, just head across the street and down the hill.
  • Our stay at Matty’s was lovely. We enjoyed the area beaches, hikes, local food. We enjoyed Matty’s place for its detail, coziness, amenities, and character. We hope to return.

    Heidi2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at the Wee Bird Cottage and we can't wait to come back!

    Anya2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cozy spot to stop for the night! Would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to be able to walk to the beach!

    Kristen2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Honestly one of the most beautiful airBnB’s you’ll ever stay in! An artist’s dream! Great location too!

    Sam2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great! Stylish, comfortable and inspiring(according to my 4yr old). Close proximity to town, beach, co-op and dining. Super happy family of four-thanks Matty!

    Greg2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Matty's place is pure magic. We were excited to stay at this special spot, but it was even better in person. We could only stay one night, but next time we will be making a whole trip of it. Lovely artistic details everywhere you look, minutes away from Battle Rock beach, which is such a cool spot to explore and enjoy the beautiful rock formations and tide pools. Thank you for making our romantic drive up the coast even more special!

    Zoe2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The interior photos do not do justice. Expect to find both a beautiful and whimsical space, that is yet highly functional and comfortable. Craftsmanship in every room is first rate, especially the kitchen and main room. Kitchen is especially well outfitted. Even though we had good restaurants nearby (e.g., Crazy Norwegian and Redfish), the kitchen gave us an incentive to cook-in for breakfast/brunch. In short, we found the house to be warm and cozy place to hang out, even on a dark and stormy, late December weekend. When the skies are clear, you'll find it a short walk to a cool beach, surfing, and a very active fishing port. If you like coastal towns in the winter, as we do, Matty's house and Port Orford check a lot of boxes for us. Both are on our "to do again" list. Thanks Matty!

  • This home was so much better than expected! The space was larger than anticipated, the pictures are exactly what we got and some. We were very surprised at how stocked the kitchen was! Perfect for enjoying home cooked meals while on vacation. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Including a hand drawn map and pictures on the wall of how to find the walking trail to the beach (one of our favorite little touches!). Absolutely would stay again! Highly recommend staying in this home for your OR coast beach vacation!

  • Nice place by the ocean! Clean place . Backyard was great as well.

  • The place was nice and clean. Not far from town. The place had what we needed and more.

    Del2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Convinient location to beaches, restraunts, and golf. Very quiet and clean.

    Michael2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • One of the cleanest and most modern AirB&Bs I’ve found. It had everything we could have wanted and more. Super clean, too. While we didn’t have a dog with us this trip, the home is dog friendly but didn’t smell of and previous furry friends that had stayed there, which is fairly amazing. Small, but fully fenced, side/back yard a huge plus for those that are thinking to visit with a pup!

    Panchita2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem of place! This was our first trip to Bandon, Oregon. It was close to grocery stores, restaurants, state parks and “Old Town”. We enjoyed morning walks to the beach and we felt safe in this nice neighborhood.

  • A wonderful, cozy space to relax, create, and get away from it all... would heartily recommend!

    Trevor2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt is a nice space to stay in for a south coast vacation. I stayed for a week and was able to work remotely for several days using the WiFi available in the yurt. The wood stove made for some nice evening fires after returning from setting the sun at the beach.

    John2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Quirky and comfy. Eric was very gracious in allowing us to use the yurt as a kitchen. This was a very nice refuge from the rains we experienced while camping the previous two nights. Excellent location, close to the Langlois Market, Floras Lake, and just a short drive to Bandon.

    Brian2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely hosts with a cozy Airbnb close to Bandon. My friend and I particularly enjoyed cooking dinner in the yurt and enjoying a book near the fireplace!

    Joseph2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • I'm a traveling therapist who stayed here long term for 2 months. I loved it here! The yurt is rustic, beautiful, and gives you a great experience of the OR coast. Eric even provided a cooking area in the yurt, with a hot plate and microwave. There is also a small refrigerator. The rooms are inside the house and are very cozy and comfortable! Would highly recommend!

  • Wow!!!! Breathtakingly beautiful home and area!! Pictures do not do this place justice!

    Debbie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • After four days up here I didn't want to leave...You are surrounded by trees and you can see the ocean in the view (look at pictures!). The place has all new and sparkling clean furniture along with the most fully equipped kitchen I've experienced (including sharp knives!). There are a lot of places for people to be alone while together (sitting places, windowsill benches, multiple couches, and picnic table outside in the sun when it's out) Bill and Roxy are next door but this place is so private you might not know it until they walk by with their three sweet dogs. Be sure to explore the path in the woods nearby and see if you can find the wooden bear cub hanging on a tree near the driveway. They are great communicators and this place is SUCH a great value! Langlois Market indeed has a large variety of fresh produce, beer, wine, and food. Be sure to check out Floras Lake just a couple miles away at the ocean.

    Daryl2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • This unit was exactly what was promised - comfortable, convenient, and with an awesome view. The property management team is very responsive and communicative which I appreciated. The bedroom is spacious, the fireplace works well and the bathroom shower was also big and very nice. If you are looking for privacy rent the whole unit (both sides) as sound does carry from the larger unit attached. We would definitely return with our whole family to rent the entire house.

  • Christi’s place is great, decorated very nicely with nice natural light. It’s super clean! It’s also very kid friendly with toys, books and movies and a bunk bed. It felt very private but was quite close to town. Christi was a great hostess, checking to be sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated having a washer dryer, and loved the super cool record player/cd combo... The kids had never seen a record player and there were some great records to listen to! We enjoyed our stay. Thanks again Christi!

“Whispering Pines BnB” is a rustic, wooded retreat where you can stroll on forest paths, pick raspberries for breakfast (in season) and listen to the birds singing. If you listen, you can hear the surf from the ocean which is ten minutes away. We are located just outside of Bandon, Oregon.
At Whispering Pines BnB the eggs are fresh from the chickens, the grass is mowed by our horse, and the backyard is inhabited by two Golden Retrievers waiting for someone to throw them a stick. We are located just outside of Bandon, close to Bullards Park (and the Coquille River lighthouse) and the Bandon Dunes Golf Course (the #1 golf resort in the US). They are all about a 10 minute drive. The nearest restaurants and shopping center are 5 minutes away. Your “room” has its own private entrance, bathroom and kitchenette where you can fix and enjoy your own breakfast with fixings provided. (Fixings include fresh farm eggs (in season), bread for toast and coffee). The kitchenette has a microwave, small refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, stove top, large toaster oven and a breakfast bar. Your “room” is the entire ground floor of our house. It is 25’ by 25’ minus a central storage area so it is an “U” shape. We have no TV but there are several bookshelves full of books and magazines for all ages and interests. We do have Wi Fi. Bandon is a picturesque tourist town. Highlights are tasting cheeses and eating ice cream at the Face Rock Creamery, tasting and buying cranberry candies at Cranberry Sweets, dining along the waterfront or in nice seafood restaurants and shopping in Old Town in a variety of small gift shops. There are several art galleries. On weekends during the summer it is fun to visit the farmers market which hosts booths for many local artisans as well as farmers. In the Fall, it's time to fish for Salmon on the nearby Coquille River. Bandon beaches are wide open with only a sprinkling of tourists. Big rocks jutting out of the ocean and sand give the Bandon beach character. At sunset, photographers often go to the beach to photograph the sun setting on the rocks and beach. Some enjoy searching for agates or watching birds and whales (in season). At the Bandon Boat docks you can watch the birds and boats, book a guided fishing or sightseeing boat or sit on the dock and fish for crabs. West Coast Animal Game Park is a fun place to take kids where they can pet and feed goats and other animals and see tigers, lions and other animals in their cages.
We live in a quiet neighborhood where most people live on 5 acres or more. We have 16 acres and cannot hear or see our neighbors. You will drive by our closest neighbor when you first come in our driveway. People can be seen walking, jogging, biking, and walking their dogs on our street. Our street is paved, but our driveway is gravel. We are close to Bandon, but a bit warmer and much less windy.
  • Donna and Dave's area is beautiful. It's the perfect place for relaxing and a peaceful stay. The trails next to the house are great and it'sa short drive into Bandon. They are gracious hosts. I'd recommend their place to anyone visiting Oregon.

  • great rustic place

  • This place felt like home! We live in the country ourselves so we very much appreciated the serene and peaceful environment here. Donna greeted us with a welcome basket and offered up fresh eggs from her hens and orange juice and many other treats. This is a very eclectic, downstairs apartment space. We very much enjoyed the ability to walk out our door and pick a few blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Our dog Hannah felt right at home too. She played a little bit with their dog Hunter and she laid out in the grass basking in the sunshine. The trails through the woods were the topper for us. We enjoy taking walks after meals and the trails were right outside our door. It was fun to explore the property. The home is just a few minutes outside of Bandon so you get a country feel while being minutes away from "civilization". The hosts solicited and seemed to appreciate our feedback for ways to improve the stay for future guests (to make it even better).

  • Fantastic place to stay. We always are loving forward to the next time we get to come

    Sage2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's place in Bandon was more than just a space to sleep--it was a whole experience! We stayed for two nights with our kids and they were immediately excited to play with the adorable dog Hunter, and see the chickens. Any time we had a spare minute, they wanted be outside playing fetch with Hunter or walking on the wooded trails. We had such a wonderful time there and would love to stay again if we're ever in the area.

  • Whispering Pines was exactly what my husband and I needed! We live in the city, so getting away for relaxation is very important to us. Our stay was perfect, starting with the fresh eggs for breakfast, to the wonderful trails on the property, ending with a cozy, intimate outdoor fire in the evening. Everything was amazing!! We will definitely be back for another stay! Thank you, Donna and Dave, for a fabulous getaway!

    Esther2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay off the beaten path. The room is simple but clean. But the Whispering Pines are magical: stand at their base and just listen. Or walk among what I think are Oregon’s most contented chickens. Or pick raspberries in season. Or stroll on the trails Donna has carved into the forest. A lovely, unique treasure~ Michael and Jodi

The Sweet Family Ranch Cabin provides a pristine, peaceful, and perfect setting for a once in a lifetime vacation. It is tucked away in a private spot on our 700 acre family ranched, framed by two state parks, the river and the ocean.
The quiet privacy of the cabin coupled with the panoramic view make this space one you have to see to appreciate its unique specialness.
The Cabin is located across the river from Cape Blanco State park and just south of Black Lock Point. Our ranch is a working ranch. Joe runs cattle (Oregon Grass Fed Beef) and raises cranberries on the ranch. It is 700+ acres of privacy and beauty.
  • Nature Lovers delight! This is a simple, clean and very comfortable cabin. It has everything you need: a well equipped kitchen, nice leather sofas, a fire place. The view is spectacular. Located on the Sixes River estuary, you can see the river, and the beach. Bird watching, hiking and simply sitting and watching the tide come in and out are a tremendous treat. Can't wait for my next visit.

  • What an amazing way to experience the beach and river! Thank you for sharing your amazing place!

  • This house is fantastic. The views, the sunsets and the isolated feel of the place is an experience not to be missed. We stayed over for one night on our road trip. Arrived before sunset and enjoyed our evening in front of the log fire in this wonderful Airbnb

  • Peaceful and beautiful.

  • I'm going to be candidly honest and say that I don't want to write this review because I want this cabin to remain a hidden gem. 10/10 I will return. Such a charming spot with amazingly kind/helpful owners. This is my favorite rental on the oregon coast.

    Ben2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is such an extraordinary space, we arrived right as it was getting dark and our mouths dropped open at the view. Well equipped and thoughtfully cared for space. My brother and I stayed in the upstairs beds and they were totally comfortable with really nice sheets (but a sloping ceiling that’s easy to bump your head on). Will definitely try to return soon!

    Sarah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day/night at the cabin as a romantic holiday get-away. The cabin was beautiful and it was everything we were hoping for! “Sweet” Family Cabin is the right name for it! We brought a small table-top Christmas tree and some decorations, it was so pretty in front of the big picture windows overlooking the river mouth and ocean. We made Christmas cookies, and everything we could have wanted for baking we found in the well-stocked kitchen. In fact the whole cabin was well-stocked, we found everything we looked for. We loved having a crackling fire in the beautiful river-rock fireplace. The porch of the cabin was stacked with split firewood, and an axe for making kindling. We also appreciated the mowed path that Uncle John Sweet made for hiking to the beach. The whole property, outside and inside, was neat and well-maintained. The gravel road to the cabin is about a mile long. I have lived on gravel roads in the country most of my life, and I appreciated how well-maintained the road was. (Gravel roads on rural properties require a LOT of work.) For “city folk” a mile-long gravel road going downhill from the top of the mesa to the river, might feel intimidating, but once you get onto Sweet Ranch just follow the road - you can’t go wrong and there are no bad spots. (A couple of puddles but that’s inevitable in rainy Oregon - just go slow through them). It’s so “sweet” when you come over the last rise and see the cabin ahead of you with the river and ocean beyond! The only negative was the heat at the cabin was not really enough for cold winter days/nights if you like a toasty-warm house. The Oregon coast is temperate, rarely below mid-40’s on winter nights. It was particularly cold when we were there (low 30’s). In summer you wouldn’t notice a problem. In cold winter weather, bring a sweater to wear indoors.

Come experience quiet solitude by the water at this remodeled, stylish apartment right on the shore of Floras Lake. You're sure to enjoy the stunning lake view through a large window facing the lake or from while sitting in lounge chairs on the decking in front. In winter, relax inside and watch for storms over the lake or head out for days of fun on the water in the summer months.
This beautiful lakefront vacation rental has a spectacular location on Floras Lake. With a private boat dock, and a welcoming atmosphere, you will feel right at home here and ready for a wonderful Southern Oregon Coast adventure. The apartment is located right on Floras Lake, so when you stay here you can enjoy both the nearby beach and the lake, which is a famously great place for kite boarding. The nearest city is the small community of Langlois, which is about 10 minutes away and has a great little market, though Port Orford is just 20 minutes to the south, and the larger Bandon is a scenic 25-minute drive north. With the lake so close, you will want to spend your trip soaking in the sunshine, playing in the shallows, or maybe even kiteboarding around. Just north along the lake is a business that offers windsurfing and kite boarding rentals and lessons. You could also boat over to the west side of the lake and take a nice long stroll on the sandy beach while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the majestic Pacific Ocean! In Langlois itself you will discover a very small town with notorious market. The Langlois Market is well known as an eclectic place where you can stock up on basic groceries, grab a quick hot dog, or order a grass-fed burger and micro-brew. If you drive about 20 minutes south, you will reach the wonderful Capo Blanco State Park, which offers camping areas, picnicking spots, a lighthouse, and plenty of scenic trails that will take you around the gorgeous landscape. When you feel like heading into a slightly larger coastal town, drive south to Port Orford. There you can have a fine meal at Redfish or fish and chips at The Crazy Norwegian, and stroll along the gorgeous stretch of coastline that passes right by downtown. If you drive north, instead, you will find yourself in lovely Bandon. Take a daytrip there and go horseback riding on the beach, walk along the downtown boardwalk, have a lovely lunch of fresh pasta at Alloro Restaurant, then check out the locally made candy at Cranberry Sweets or Coastal Mist. After you explore the surrounding towns, return to your comfortable lakefront Southern Oregon Coast vacation rental and play a game of pool, and enjoy your stay! *NOTE: Other vacation rental units on-site & other travelers may be present during your stay. However, all rentals have their own private outdoor space, garden, and decking. Only the beachfront and dock will be shared, as well as the driveway. Please contact me if you would like to rent more than one at a time to share with your friends or family.
Floras Lake offers many attractions: kayaking, jet boats, stand-up-paddling and fishing are popular on this lake. Floras Lake is also a mecca for Windsurfing and Kiteboarding. There is a windsurfing school on the lake with lessons and equipment rentals as well as Stand-Up-Paddling. It is an ideal location for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Golfers benefit from the location as well: Bandon Crossings is a 15 minute drive north and world famous Bandon Dunes is 30 minutes north. The lake is not the only attraction, as it is fed by a river which runs through a natural habitat ara, Kayakers have the opportunity to travel up into the river to view the birds as well as other wildlife. A short walk from the Boice Park (Boat Landing) is the beach. Take a walk on the beach to see the cliffs as they rise up north or take a turn into the woods for the Blacklock Point Trail.
  • This apartment has a fantastic view! Very calming. The place was spotless, the beds are comfortable, the welcome warm. Highly recommended a stay here, we will be returning hopefully soon.

These coastal-themed rooms have Serta Beauty Rest mattresses, flat screen TVs with Dish programming, mini fridges, microwaves, box fans, bathtub/shower combos, and single cup coffeemakers. They have new bedding and new vinyl plank flooring. These rooms do not allow smoking or pets.
This is the Lamplighter Inn--a small, 16 room inn in Bandon right on Scenic Highway 101. These rooms have queen beds, a private bath, and a unique sea creature theme. They have new mattresses, new bedding, microwaves, refrigerators, single cup coffee makers with coffee in room and vinyl plank flooring. They have flat screen TVs and Dish network programming. These rooms do not allow pets. Single queens are not on the highway 101 side of the property.
We are on the north side of Bandon, on the edge of a small residential neighborhood, about 3/4 of a mile from old town. Because we are just a little way from old town, we have the advantage of being a quiet location. Across the street is a small shopping center with a grocery store, a drug store, a laundromat, a sandwich shop, and some other small stores. There is a good Mexican food restaurant about 200 feet from us. Old town has a cute and ecclectic collection of shops and restaurants, as well as a small harbor. We have beautiful beaches within two miles in both directions.
  • Tight parking near apartments causes departure noise, great value motels.

  • Great space located close to everything in Bandon. It’s a renovated motel room, it is centrally located to everything in Bandon. They provide basic hotel amenities and also included a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. They also had a fan which was really nice. Would totally recommend.

  • What a delightful and charming place! They took an older motel and fixed it up. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the water was hot, it had basic amenities and a super easy check in process. I will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

  • Great spot, very convenient, great value.

    Sean2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • I generally don't book hotel /motel rooms for the very reason that they tend to be noisier. This is by virtue of sharing spaces with lots of other poeople plus The walls are pretty thin. otherwise the place was very nice, but only basic amenities - no tea (I think there was coffee though), no snacks like at many other Airbnbs we've stayed at for the same price. there was a mini fridge available. I loved the theme rooms - we were in the sea turtle room. Very conveniently located for visiting the town of bandon. Absolutely must check out face rock when you go!!

This conveniently located, private home is in town. Easy access to beach, local restaurants, Chevron, and if necessary -- Rays Groceries. For an unforgettable walk-about, the historic Coast Guard Station is worth a visit: boasting both a WWII historical museum and northerly/southerly hike. Cape Blanco Lighthouse is also minutes away and is one of the furthest western spots in the United States. In the morning, your hosts Bob and Michele serve breakfast at your convenience.
Stairwell should be considered before renting this space. Bedroom is light, airy and quiet. Windows open for ventilation. New bedframe, new mattress, new comforter! Bathroom is located directly next door.
    Quiet and Safe.
  • Very cozy, with a comfortable bed and friendly hosts. Breakfast is wonderful (made from scratch), and if you like pets, this is an enjoyable place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and access to the beautiful Oregon coast.

  • Bob & Michele were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond during our stay. They were very welcoming to both us & our dog, even offering to watch him while we went down the street to grab a bite after we arrived. They made us an amazing and hearty breakfast early for us so we could get back on the road on time too. This airbnb is definitely worth the stop in Port Orford & we will definitely be referring all our friends to Bob & Michele’s!

    Rachel2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived to Michelle and Bob working outside, they greeted us enthusiastically and Bob brought our bags up to the room. The space is an upstairs bedroom with a double bed and plenty of space (sitting chairs, bookshelves, etc). Bathroom just outside the door off the main hall/stairway landing. You'll meet ET and patches, an exuberant black pug and one eyed Siamese mix kitty. They provided great recommendations for exploring Port Orford. Michelle makes a fantastic breakfast and the shower has *fantastic* water pressure. An excellent place to stay in Port Orford, we hope to return!

Cozy cabin in the famous Jetty neighborhood as well as on the beautiful Redmond pond! Only 4 houses away to walk to the gorgeous Bandon beaches to the west and a short walk to Bandon's Old town for restaurants and shopping.
Single story cabin with open wood beam ceilings. Every window to the east has a view of Redmond pond and the Coquille river. Geese nest on the property and walk through a few times a day. Close to the pond in the backyard you can see the Bandon lighthouse. Inside you will find one queen bed as well as a queen air mattress that can be blown up in the living room.
The Jetty neighborhood is as good as it gets in Bandon Oregon! Not only are you able to walk to to Old Town Bandon, but you are right next to the beach and across from the light house. Nice and quiet, you can fall asleep listening to the soothing sounds of a faint fog horn off the jetty. This is the closest neighborhood to Old Town Bandon yet still next to the beach. The only spot I know of in Bandon that you do not have to access the beach by stairs! All other spots you have to either walk down a steep walk way or a giant staircase.
  • Incredible location. Quaint and roomy. Sparkling clean

  • This cozy house is in an outstanding location. It is a short walk to the beach and within walking distance of Old Town. We enjoyed watching the geese in the pond out back, paddle boarders on the bay, and pretty sunrises. The house is warm with good amenities.

    Angie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is very nice. Being right on the pond was fun and we were greeted by four geese on the back porch when we arrived. It is a very short walk to the beach and is a long walk or short drive to downtown. We would definitely book this cabin again.

    david2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • It's true, the geese will greet you in the morning and throughout the day! The space is great and the amenities will leave you feeling like you're at home. One note about the location. If you're arriving after sundown, approach slowly as it's easy to miss the turn off because there are no street signs.

    Gary2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This house is so charming! We loved the view and watching all the wildlife. The beach is only a short walk away. The bed was comfy and the house was very clean. I would love to stay again.

The health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees is our number one priority. Many of our vacation rentals minimize person-to-person contact with private amenities and entry via smart locks or lockboxes. Plus, each reservation is backed by 24/7 customer support and expert cleaning in line with current CDC guidelines.
At Ocean Vista Cottage, you will have spectacular unobstructed water views and marvel at the beautiful sunsets and wonderful rock formations. This beautiful and dog-friendly home is nestled on a bluff overlooking the untamed Pacific Ocean. The walk to the beach will take just a minute or two - you will be sharing the beach with aquatic birds and occasionally a seal. Alternatively, curl up with a book in the living room while you relax by a warm fire. What's nearby: Downtown Bandon is a short and convenient two and a half mile-drive and there you can find a plethora of dining options (seafood, pizza, Asian food, Mexican food, etc.), markets and convenience stores, and more! This charming city is also well-known for its historic lighthouse and the highly-acclaimed golf courses you can find at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (eight miles away). You can find even more outdoor activities by the coastline that include horseback riding on the beach, fishing, crabbing, etc. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen without a dishwasher Can be rented in combination with the attached studio A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.
  • The views are amazing!!! You will have sweeping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean through the large non-paned picture windows!!! The access to the beach was amazing!!! If you know Beach Loop in Bandon, you know it could be blocks or more reach beach access... not here... it’s just two houses down and it’s a very easy access without those giant staircases!!! There is a small flat panel television and good WiFi, which is nice!!! The kitchen, while not updated, has a fridge, stove/oven, micro, toaster, and coffee maker. There is adequate cookware, serving dishes, dishes, and silverware!! I would say, if you are seeking privacy, this is not the place. You may have a renter in “The Studio” on the same property - the units are not attached, however when you walk in to the Cottage - you will look right in on them every time and it’s super awkward. Also, from the cottage - should you choose to have the windows in the kitchen and behind the dining table open, you will stare directly in to the Studio. Again, it’s awkward unless you know them or are renting both and traveling with a larger group.

  • This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet in a lovely natural setting. The hosts were superb and extremely nice. It’s a short drive to the beach where the crashing waves were fantastic. I especially appreciated the host’s nice touches like the soothing music when we entered the house.

  • Cozy place with lake views. Very peaceful and quiet with a nice off-the-grid location. Very spacious with a very helpful and attentive host. Easy check-in, easy to find. Great experience overall.

  • The Redwood Guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and pretty. The closeness of the lake and the ocean makes it a remarkable place for vacation.

  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at our airbnb. Great price, loved the location very much. I liked that we had a great view of the lake and we were close enough to walk to the beach for a sunset. The area is secluded and peaceful. The apartment was very clean and they were very welcoming when we arrived. I had no complaints 😊

Remodeled 1 bedrm downstairs apt, tiled, new carpet, fully furnished w/ organic bamboo fiber queen bed. Stocked kitchen w/ blender, French press coffee maker & toaster oven. Cookware, knives, utensils, salad spinner & more. Full size futon in living room w/ areas for computers. 43” TV for DVD's (some provided) or internet TV. North of town 1 mile. You will need a car. Please know, being next to the forest, sow bugs are around. We are using natural means to keep them at bay.
Quiet and convenient. Outside garden area for cooking, relaxing. Fully furnished with nice kitchen ware, dishes, pots and pans. Full size refrigerator. It is an all electric place. Bullet blender and regular blender and French press for coffee. Futon couch in living room can sleep 2. Areas for a computer or two. Please know it can be chilly during the winter and the heater is not set on 24/7 during its empty times. However we go in and set it higher before arrival, then you leave it on; it warms up nicely after a few hours..... We have had the comment that this was once a garage, patio or outdoor space underneath the above apartment. This is in a zoned duplex area, the building is largely concrete block and has always been living space. (Hard to convert cement blocks into anything else)
The neighborhood is quiet and the street dead end. Across the street is Wild Woods Farms, walk across during the season and get fresh eggs, cheese and milk for breakfast.
  • Another great stay at Z’s place. I was looking to do a little work and to catch some R&R and this was the perfect environment for both. I admit I stayed in bed until almost 11 one day; the bedroom is so cozy! I also love the proximity to the coast and to other coastal towns.

  • Zelda is helpful and generous and responded to communication quickly, and her place is easy to find and conveniently located. The space is homey and comfortable; I especially loved the thick down comforter which was super cozy. This is an excellent home base for exploring Port Orford and the surrounding area.

    Elyse2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was more than advertised. Yes, it's in a pretty quiet and secluded location (though with separate upstairs neighbors), but the kitchen is fully stocked with very serviceable pots, pans and utensils and even a good supply of things like basic spices, catsup, mustard, salt, pepper, stuff like that, which makes it so much more home-like, if you're going to do any cooking. And Zelda was a great source of information about the local area, as well as our destination, the redwood forests to the south. It was a pleasure to stay there for our two nights!

  • As always, a comfortable place in a beautiful area at a great value. Fully stocked kitchen with new stove, bring favorite groceries to save a buck on eating out and find everything you need upon arrival. Endless miles of postcard view beaches nearby, seemingly spotless and reserved just for you

  • Another great stay at Z’s Place! Perfect airbnb at a great value for a week stay or more. Highly recommend, everything you need is here and the best beaches are close too. Quiet area, we can hear the ocean some nights.

These rooms have two double beds and a private bath, new Serta Beauty Rest mattresses, flat screen TVs with Dish programming, mini fridges, microwaves, and single cup coffeemakers. They have new bedding and new vinyl plank floors. Each one has its own coastal creature theme. Pets are allowed in these rooms (up to two). The room price includes a $10 pet cleaning fee. See policies for details. These rooms are on the road-side with main windows that face away from the road (small bath window on the road).
  • This was the perfect spot for my dogs and I to stop for the night on an adventure up the Oregon coast. It was cute, quiet, and close to some cute local restaurants and cafes. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

We are a small ranch on outskirts of town with private camp. We are located about 1.5 miles from the ocean nestled in a small valley. We are slightly warmer and less windy than closer places to the ocean. The space can accommodate more people if you want to bring another tent for the kids or we can provide one with air mattress.
The tent has a queen bed. We are close to ocean, have mountain biking nearby, fishing in town, kayaking as well Golfing just 1 mile away. Lots of fun stuff to do very close. We also have eggs and garden pickings avail for purchase as well as firewood. We also have games to play.
We are near the end of the road with tons of privacy and quiet. Lots of birds.
  • This tent was so cool!! Lovely, private glamping experience! Heather and Nathan provided everything we needed to start a fire under a beautiful starry sky. Highly recommend bringing food and tea. We will be back to stay here again :)

  • Such a great space! The lotus tent was spacious and clean. It was totally secluded, we didn't see anyone the whole time we were there. The little camp kitchen was such a nice surprise, and the outdoor shower setup was amazing. Just a quick 10 minute drive into Bandon. Highly recommended!

    Kari2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Heather and Nate were great hosts. We loved our stay at the Lotus tent. The fire pit and kitchen space at the site were big bonuses. The shower space was quite rad as well. Would definitely book again.

Charming and modern styled a-frame house across from the beach and walkabout to local shops and restaurants. Professionally cleaned, laundered, and surfaces sanitized between guests.
This classic A-Frame has been completely remodeled into a charming beach house. It sleeps up to 6 people, but you have to love each other cause it’s small and cozy. I furnished it as a cozy home and it is completely stocked with everything you need. New Tuft & Needle mattresses on both queen beds, bamboo sheets and linen duvets for a great nights sleep while you hear the ocean waves. You are welcome to use anything you find including rain boots, crabbing equipment and kitchen food staples. There is also a Sony 40' LCD TV and Bose stereo/DVD player with MP3 player hookup. We do not have cable, however there is a Chromecast setup with Netflix, Hulu and tons of internet streaming content. Washer and dryer located in the back room.
On the beach. Close to Bandon Dunes golf. Short walk to Old Town Bandon restaurants and shops. When my kids were younger they loved building driftwood forts...ok Dad loved it as well. Be sure to explore the beach at low tide to find great shells, petrified wood and agate stones. You can also walk about 1 mile south on the beach to explore some sea caves.
  • The beach shack is the best place to stay in Bandon!

  • This is an amazing little beach shack! So clean and so cute! Amazing location to the beach. I only wished we could have stayed longer. My 12 and 14 year olds loved the loft. Excellent beach home.

  • This home is so charming and beautifully decorated. You feel at home the minute you walk in. The little extra touches you come across are so thoughtful, like the jar of ear plugs next to the bed for "light sleepers'. I would highly recommend this beach house!! My family and I are already talking about coming back next year.

    Kim2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Troy's place was amazing. This cute little beach shack packed a punch and had everything you needed to call it a home away from home. Our party of four really enjoyed the stay and didnt even want to eat out for dinner. We decided to do a take out to enjoy this premise fully. The place was clean, bright, cheery, cosy and warm. A 1000% would recommend troy's place.

  • My group and I had a wonderful time at the Bandon Beach Shack. It’s such a cute and cozy house. Check in was super easy and the house was very clean and neat. It had everything you needed for cooking and was well stocked with towels, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, and all kinds of other amenities. The location was great too. The house is really close to Bandon’s old town and right down the road is access to the beach which my 3 year old and I easily walked to. The host was very prompt to answer any questions. We made such wonderful memories and I would totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to stop and spend some time in Bandon.

Lovely bedroom with king size bed, with a sitting area and a sliding glass door open to the rose garden and koi pond. On the dirt road coming in there are many opportunities for wildlife viewing. Be prepared to be rural, yet close to cute Bandon.
The room is cool and lovely, family and friends love it, and pretty private. The bathroom is in the hall next to the bedroom and is only for guests of this bedroom.
To the south there is Pt.Orford where they lower fishing boats into the water via cable and to the north there is the cute fishing village of Bandon where they have the best fish and chips(I've tried them all between here and San Francisco).
  • Beautiful, secluded country Airbnb that provided me and my husband a great night’s sleep! Chickens and turkeys roam the property, and the neighbour’s dog came over to play too. It was lovely being in the midst of so many animals. The room was really comfortable and we took full advantage of the sliding door leading to the front yard. Maybe don’t drive up in the dark like we did, though, since the property is deep in. We managed to find it without any problems. We didn’t manage to meet Claudia but her housemate Cindy was really sweet and made me tea after learning I had a bad cold. Thanks again!

  • Sue does a great job communicating with you. The place is as described and Sue added some really thoughtful touches to make me feel welcomed. Definitely recommend if you need a place to stay while traveling the coast. As another commenter noted there is noise from the highway so if that bothers you, it might not be the right spot. I found the place to be a bit overpriced when you add in all the fees but so it goes sometimes. Overall recommend and think Sue is a great host!

    Karen2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a great place to stay! Sue offered many places to visit before we left and made it very easy to check out! Very clean and cute place to stay! Would definitely recommend it to others!

  • Super clean, with thoughtful touches throughout, the studio has a comfortable bed, satellite tv, good wifi connection, mini-kitchen and spacious bathroom. The big windows let in the light and the high ceilings give it a spacious feeling. Sue defines "super-host", with her warm smile, energy and attention to detail. Watching hummingbirds in the garden and deer walking through the meadow - BONUS!
