Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

We are a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom & 9 bed cottage functional all year round. We are 15 min. from Bon Echo park, 20 min. from Malcolm lake which has amazing ice fishing and less than 2 min. from Marble Lake Public beach. Our cottage is the perfect place to relax with family or a few friends, and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is very private and you will have the entire property and cottage to yourself. it’s the perfect peaceful hideaway. The cottage is warm and cozy with gorgeous views of cranberry lake Our place is Great for nature walks, biking, swimming and enjoying the outdoors. Also for fishing/ice fishing and snowmobiling trails are close by.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is situated on a large partially treed property in the Kawarthas. This property includes a lake lot at the bottom of the hill with a dock to access Stoney Lake. Located close to boat launches at McCracken's Landing or Gilchrist Bay, Stoney Lake offers access to the Trent Canal System . A pedal boat, 2 kayaks and a canoe are available (guests should supply their own life jackets as they are required in all watercraft)

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
