A lovely quiet place to recharge body and soul

Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away.

Nonna’s Nest, a lovely quiet coastal rural retreat

Nonna's nest is a lovely recently renovated self contained annex with its own private enclosed garden. It is located in a quiet village setting in the heart of magical west Cornwall (Poldark mining territory!). It is close to the South West coastal path & Pendeen lighthouse. You can see the sea and Moorland from the garden. Dogs are welcome. There is Wi-Fi & off road dedicated parking. You will love the beauty of the local area and will discover why my father moved from Italy to settle here!

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Small but perfectly formed, The Studio @ The Old Vicarage is a brand new restoration, ideal for one/two guests, located within the grounds of The Old Vicarage. It is very private hidden behind huge granite walls in a very sunny corner with access to the garden. Open the door on the other side and you can see the sea and for those who know the Cornish seas, the colour changes every day. With lovely sea views, this charming miner's cottage lies in a Heritage village in the far west of Cornwall. Haddock's End has been renovated to a high standard and is located close to the coastal path, offering excellent walking, pure Atlantic air and a choice of local, real ale Inns nearby! Pendeen Lighthouse and beautiful beach at Portherras Cove is a short walk away. This area is famed as the birth place of author Rosamunde Pilcher and for the filming of Poldark.

Pines at Carminowe Farm, a peaceful rural retreat

Cozy flat located at Carminowe Farm, just outside the village of Pendeen, slightly off the beaten track with no close neighbours, making it extremely peaceful and a haven for wildlife. It's a short walk to the shop, pubs and local facilities. The coast path is approximately a mile and a half away. The flat has ample parking and its own courtyard seating area. The hosts live in the main part of the house and have a border collie called Bill and a cat.

Dowran is a wonderful rural hamlet in West Penwith , it is one of the quietest parts of Cornwall. We live in a traditional stone built Barn conversion with our chickens ,pet turkeys and dogs. The Shepherds hut is situated in our substantial back garden . It is a quiet, private space. The perfect base for exploring the scenery of west Cornwall or as a stopover on route to or from the Isles of Scilly.
