  • The pod was fantastic, set in a quiet countryside location near to beautiful beaches! David and his partner were incredibly welcoming and made sure we were comfortable whilst allowing us to feel a million miles away! David provided more than listed, materials for fire, towels in bathroom, even a bowl of crumble! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Lauren, Frank and Ellie the dog!

    Lauren2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect little patch of heaven. Was a lovely touch of 'luxury' after a few days on the road. Really comfy and cosy and we were just completely left to just enjoy the garden and pod. Completely secluded from the house so your not overlooked by anything. Lovely campfire to use when you arrive and the worlds friendliest take free range hens who are just hilarious. We loved it so much we asked to stay another night but unfortunately it was booked up. It's next to an artillery training ground spectator point so bring your binoculars. It's pretty much out of action most of the year but fortunately we got to see tanks in action and machine gun type fire. Was absolutely amazing to watch and hear :-) very happy campers

    Corinne2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great 3 night stay at David's pod. The description of bringing everything minus the tent is spot on, but it is way way better than camping! David was very easy to book with and welcomed us with a cup of tea, which was appreciated! The pod was clean, quiet and in a beautiful spot in David's garden. The area is stunning, so many wonderful beaches to explore and walks to do. Thoroughly recommended.

  • Great break away the pod was great as was the hospitality. Thanks a David. Will return

    Christopher2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • David was welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The cups of tea and firepit were great additions which made our stay very comfortable. The view is beautiful and the hobbit house (as I liked to call it) is in a fab location. Far enough away from the house to make it feel secluded but close enough that going to the toilet isn't a pain. We recommend the Stackpole Inn pub but do book in advance over the summer. Thank you!

    Kat2016-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay and wasn't not expecting a fridge, tea and coffee. A really great welcome and would stay again

    Daniel2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were made really welcome, given a cup of tea (perfect!) shown around and given all the info we asked for which was exactly as you would hope. The cabin/ pod had some lovely little extras to fulfil the glamping end of camping such as nightlights, electricity and a firepit which meant we could star gaze

Our apartment is situated overlooking Pembroke Castle & is a short walk from the Mill Pond & all of the Shops, Bars & Cafe's. Pembroke is close to lots of award winning beaches, Blue Lagoon Water Park, Oakwood Theme Park & Temby with St Davids (the smallest city in the UK) a little further up the coast. The apartment is bright a spacious with a large fitted double bedroom with and en-suite Bathroom. It would suit couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and small families.
Our apartment comprises of a good size double bedroom which has a double bed, 2 bed side tables, a chest of drawers, fitted double wardrobes and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower over. Off of the corridor there is also another washroom with WC and a further storage cupboard which houses the water tank. The main living area is open plan with a well stocked kitchen, glass dining table with 4 seats, the lounge area has a large comfortable sofa with views through to the Castle, two further chairs that pull out to become full size single beds. Through the double patio doors there is a large decked area where you will find a rattan table and chairs.
The town of Pembroke is steeped in history, dating back to the 11th century when Arnulf of Mongomery raised an earth and timber fortification on the banks of the Pembroke River. Although something of an outpost, it was considered to be of sufficient strategic value to justify progressive strengthening over the next 150 years, the first stone structure on the site dating from the middle of the 13th Century. William de Valence, one time Mayor of Pembroke, is thought to have been responsible for girdling the town with walls at some time during this period. It was while a guest of her brother-in-law, Jasper, at Pembroke Castle in 1457 that Margaret Beaufort, widow of Edmund Tudor, Earl of Richmond, gave birth to Henry Tudor. He was to be the founder of a dynasty that was to have a profound effect on the course of history far beyond the confines of Wales.Prosperity developed in the Middle Ages with the establishment of the woollen trade, originating from the activities of Flemish immigrants, but by the 16th Century it had declined. Pembroke came into prominence during the Civil War when, in 1648, John Poyer, Mayor of the town declared for the King in spite of strong local support for the Parliament. Together with a group of sympathisers, Poyer occupied the Castle — by this time a formidable stronghold, and eventually surrendered after prolonged bargaining, but not before Cromwell’s men had laid siege to the town with artillery and inflicted much damage. Arguably, the main contribution of the Industrial Revolution was the railway, which had already done much to open up communication in rural areas of Britain and which reached Pembroke as a standard gauge line from Tenby in 1863. Connection with one of the arteries of Brunel’s broad gauge Great Western Railway at Whitland was made a few years later.
  • This a lovely place with beautiful decor and great views of Pembroke Castle. It's had everything that you could need and is close to shops et. Matthew was a great host, he made sure we had everything that we needed and made our stay comfortable.

  • We really enjoyed Mathew and Katie's place. The location was superb with a direct view of Pembroke castle which was a surprise bonus The flat is cosy super clean and central to the gorgeous little town a short walk to everything u need. Kitchen was fantastic. Just needed a teapot!! We loved staying here and Mathew was only a phone call away and nothing was too much trouble. We can't rate this place highly enough even though we'd like to keep it a secret even met a neighbour at the local pub. love love loved it

  • The house looks even better than it shows in the pictures. Pembroke is a beautiful town and we had a lovely time.

  • This apartment was absolutely amazing, from the moment we arrived we were so excited to explore the wonderful views around. We went specifically to visit Pembroke Castle which is why we chose to stay here as per Matthew's description of the views, the description that Matthew provided was 100% spot on and was exactly as said on the tin so to speak. The castle views from the apartment was as described in the title, with beautiful scenery right from the front room. Beforehand Matthew provided us with an itinerary and lots of recommendations which again were great! Everything in the apartment was fully equipped, we felt as though we were at home if not better. This apartment is fabulous and we would recommend anybody to go there and would 100% go back. Thank you for letting us rent your apartment, amazing place.

    Charlotte2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks, the flat was great and easily walkable to the town and attractions. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

    Justin2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place with a splendid view of the castle. The place was beautifully presented. Lovely host and well organised.

    Joan2017-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • These guys made us feel very welcome into there home, I explained to Matthew that I was having my Christmas up there and he left me his Christmas tree to use. Which I would like to say a massive thank you. The house is very well presented, immaculately clean and very modern. It has everything you need and more. Would highly recommend these guys for your travel. Very understand and accommodating.

    Rob2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Upon arrival we noticed several items dotted around the flat to make us feel welcome. When we arrived on Boxing Day, a bauble wreath was placed on the door and a decorated Christmas tree with lights and mince pies were left for us. This was the perfect touch that made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The flat itself was immaculate and very modern. From a flat owner myself I was envious of the perfect the location, private parking, views of the castle and how stunning the interior was. We only went to Pembroke for a festive break but instead we fell in love with the flat and can't wait to return in the summer. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

The cottage was recently renovated to a high standard, and with is the perfect place to relax whatever the weather - with a terrace out back and a comfy open plan living room/kitchen. Floss - we can't thank you enough for the Welsh cakes, food for breakfast, and for providing such an amazing place.

    Tom2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • wow. very nice, very clean place. Host is extremely friendly. this cottage is not standard airbnb. this is better( Floss is offering towels, cosmetics, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, amazing natural garden and great barbecue. We will stay there again. I'm the host also and my only advice is to put the price up :)

    tomasz2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here two nights. Had some groceries from Floss (milk, eggs and homemade welsh cookies!) Floss was easy to communicate with and very prompt. Was a lovely place and not a far walk to Pembroke Castle. Maybe 20m? Lovely backyard. Parking was ok. Wifi was pretty good. I loved the open glass back door, sadly we couldn't keep it open too much because of the weather! The only small complaint was my parents stayed in the front double and said the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the rest of us were ok in our beds. Lots of games and books and everything, plus two bathrooms was a big bonus, especially since the bathrooms had underfloor heating. Thanks for everything.

Appartment is stunning and immaculately clean, we received a little hamper and bottle of wine also, what a lovely gesture! Lots of local information available in the property and the host's were super helpful too! Will definitely stay again at this gorgeous property

  • Wonderful cottage, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very cosy. Close to local shops, pubs, and an amazing cake shop. An ideal place for touring the local area. Luke's mum Helen was very helpful, giving us lots of ideas for places to visit. Thanks to both of you, I will recommend The Keep to all my friends. Liz

  • My boyfriend and I booked our stay here rather last minute and we could not have been luckier with our choice! The greeting was warm, welcoming, informative, and the welcome basket was a lovely additional touch. The flat itself is absolutely pristine and beautifully decorated. The surrounding area is lovely with a few choices for food. I definitely recommend having a car with you as every site you'd likely want to visit is close but definitely a drive away. The scenery surrounding is absolutely STUNNING and we really enjoyed exploring the area. A brilliant choice of accommodation that I would recommend to absolutely anyone!

  • We had a wonderful week at The Keep! We had never visited Pembroke and the flat was very clean, comfortable and the location superb - only a few minutes walk to the local pubs, shops and restaurants. The Keep is also only a short drive to the neighbouring villages which was great for all the walks we took. Helen, Luke's Mum, is extremely welcoming and friendly! The welcome pack was so thoughtful and we particularly enjoyed the Welsh Cakes! We cannot recommend The Keep enough! A truly wonderful holiday - thank you!

Live your dream, wake up beside the idyllic Medieval Pembroke Mill Pond where you can enjoy wild water life from the comfort of the conservatory. All photos of wild life above were taken from the garden. Swans, herons, coots, cormorants, moorhens etc. can be seen all year round. Three otters have been seen playing in summer of 2017. This is a unique mid terrace house due to its water edge location. Quiet and peaceful within walking distance of Pembroke Town and Castle. No fairies seen as yet!
Please would you: 1) respect the neighbours with regards to noise and politeness. 2) look after our house and leave it clean and tidy. 3) not smoke or use E-cigarettes anywhere on the premises. Unfortunately, no animals allowed as we often have a swan nesting during spring at the foot of the garden. Just enjoy the cosiness of the house, its outlook and enjoy the surrounding walks.
Although where the house stands is very quiet, within an easy walking distance over a footbridge we have several convenience stores for newspapers and food shopping, a very well known local shop called "Wisebuys" for fruit and vegetables and more than one antique emporium in town. The Co-op supermarket has just moved to the end of town. Most visitors visit the cosy local pubs and the Pembroke Castle visitor centre- the castle is where Henry VII was born. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is very popular among walkers and seals and dolphins have often been spotted. St Davids can be very interesting for a day out. The Visitor Centre and Cathedral are well worth a visit. Art galleries, outdoor adventure activities, surf school, sea kayaking and many gardens and castles are very close to this location. We ourselves often enjoy visiting "Wavecrest Cafe" at West Angle Bay and the" Coast" restaurant at Coppet Hall near Saundersfoot.
  • Susan was a great host and provided the perfect home for me and my family. The welcome package, bacon, eggs, milk etc were very much appreciated. She provided us with a full size cot and high chair for our little one, which was above and beyond what we could have expected. Thank you for letting us stay, we will look to book again when we are next in the area.

    Stephen2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This little house has a stunning location and is a proper home-from- home just outside the town walls and in a wonderfully peaceful location. Plenty of room and a full, properly equipped kitchen with plenty of room to store your own groceries ( I so often find I'm unable to unpack the shopping in holiday lets). The interior is very comfortable and the big conservatory is a super spot to watch wildlife on the millpond ( which sits below the castle) whatever the weather. The garden leads directly to the water so the host is very wise to say this is not the place for very little children. However, everyone else will have a wonderful time here. Holiday let accommodation is really hard to get in Pembroke Town but this a fantastic base. It's a proper working town set in mediaeval walls with plenty of facilities but not the incessant movement of holiday makers you get in Tenby or Saundersfoot. It's also the closest to all the famous beaches like Freshwater West, Barafundle and Boadhaven and all the National Trust coastal sites. Highly recommended.

  • I booked Susan's place for my Mum and Dad for a few days and they had a thoroughly enjoyable stay there! Susan herself is friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enought to help them, her communication arranging the trip was great too. The accomodation is very clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. My Mum and Dad enjoyed the welcome pack which is a nice touch! The location is somethng special. Its quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view yet also easy walking distance to the pubs, restaurants and cafes's of Pembroke town. We found some great places - the caste is a must - amazing history and great tour guides and falconry. The cake shop - big blue building just up the hill had the most amazing home made cakes and homemade Welsh pasties. Williams cafe was great for coffees, and breakfasts - all locally sourced produce. And then there are the local beaches.....! 10/10 for Pembroke itself and for Susan's lovely accomodation!

  • This is a really lovely place to stay in Pembrook. sitting in the conservatory watching the swans and coots is very interesting and relaxing The house itself is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Sue is a great owner who made every effort to make our stay comfortable. She even provided a welcome pack of food that was very much appreciated.

  • This house is in an idyllic spot and Sue makes every effort to make your stay as easy as possible. We had precise directions and instructions about the house, keys etc. There was food put in the kitchen and fridge for us so that we didn't have to worry about wasting our first day shopping for necessities. The house was spotless and welcoming, beds were very comfortable, and there was a very informative and concise folder of information. Sue was on hand if we needed her for anything. Thank you so much for such a relaxed and easy stay. Will definitely stay again if coming to the area. Ann

The apartment has two double bedrooms and sleeps a total of six. It has a lovely secure terrace and is very comfortable and relaxing, with everything you could need for a fantastic holiday or break in beautiful Pembrokeshire right on your doorstep.
The apartment is within a ten-minute drive of some of the most stunning beaches and coastal scenery in the country, such as Barafundle Bay, Bosherston Lily Ponds, St Govans Head, Stack Rocks and Freshwater East and within twenty minutes of the beautiful harbour town of Tenby, the villages and castles of Stackpole (FABULOUS pub!) Manorbier, St Florence and Carew, and the charming town of Narbeth. In the north of the stunning county of Pembrokeshire, about half an hour's drive, the county town of Haverfordwest, historic cathedral city of St Davids, harbour villages like Fishguard and Porthgain, with amazing restaurants and art galleries. Not forgetting the beaches at Dale, Newgale and Broad Haven, and the lovely Marina in Neyland. Walking, sailing, birdwatching, and of course plenty beautiful safe beaches all along the 170-mile National Park coastpath. It's a wonderful place for a family holiday, and there's plenty entertainment for the younger members of the family at Oakwood, Folly Farm, Heatherton and Manor House Wildlife Park.
  • Great location in the heart of Pembroke, there's no parking with the apartment but there's free public parking down the road. Apartment was great but faint aroma of cigarettes, spacious bedrooms and great bathroom. Well equipped kitchen perfect for set catering, the lounge area is a little small and would struggle to fit 4 adults.

Parking was super convenient and incredibly cheap. The flat was very close to lots of beautiful beaches and quaint little towns. Particular highlight was Pembroke Castle with the tour. Thank you for our stay!

  • Great base for discovering Pembrokeshire's fantastic coast line and beaches and one of the best apartments we ever stayed in. Pembroke itself is atmospheric and had all the amenities we needed for our walking long weekend, including friendly pubs a d a nice sandwich bar for our packed lunches. We booked again for half term!

  • William's place is absolutely fantastic! Although we had very poor weather (thanks storm Brian!), his place was well stocked with plenty of board games that we could play! Our dog had an absolute ball in the fully enclosed garden and loved having some space to play in when the weather cleared a little bit. Pembroke is a lovely area and we hope to be back soon!

    Rachel2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at William's flat. The location was perfect - very central and only a 5 minute walk from the castle. The flat is spacious and very well equipped, and the beds were really comfortable! William is extremely friendly and helpful, and was very quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you William!

  • William’s apartment is great - spacious, spotlessly clean, fitted out with everything you need, and in a great location in the town centre, close to the castle. William is a very responsive and amenable host who made our stay very comfortable and easy. It is also very good value for such a large, comfortable property.

    Chris2017-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for an excellent Stay William. The location was exactly as subscribed and the standard of the flat was exactly as we had hoped. For anyone staying at this property it is in excellent condition, very clean and tidy and William is an excellent host with nothing as too much trouble. Our thanks William for all your help and we will be back later in the year!

Location was great, parking was perfect and we both had a lovely couple of nights. Highly recommend.

  • Priory Cottage is perfect! We had everything we needed and knew we could contact Lynne if we had any problems (which we didn't)! We came without a car in April (before the coastal buses begin running every day) but Priory Cottage was a perfect base for walks in the surrounding area. Would highly recommend to anyone!

    Joel2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Lynne for being quick to respond to messages, giving clear directions and leaving a generous hamper for us to enjoy! The cottage is very well decorated, with plenty of kitchen equipment, quiet and comfortable for resting. We really liked staying here and would recommend for getting to Stackpole / Bocheston / Barafundle bay for lovely coastal walks and scenery (15mins drive away) and living next door to Pembroke Castle!

  • Amazing location, lovely characterful property, very spacious. Sue is lovely, warm welcome and had plenty of advice for us for where to visit and eat out. Main criticism was the kitchen could do with a thorough clean, everywhere else nice and clean though.

  • When Caryl found out we wanted to go to church, she messaged several of her church-going friends to try and ensure that we would have a familiar face there. How considerate! She had a great selection of maps that she patiently took us through based on our interest. She also gave us great advice on which sights to take in, and every one of her recommendations were spot on. As for her home, it's centrally located and we could walk to town in under 10 minutes. Our living space on the first level is well equipped, and decorated in a way that shows Caryl's love for birds and the sea. She even reminded us that the bridge we wanted to drive through might be closed due to the bad weather, and suggested an alternative route. All said, we leave Pembroke with beautiful memories, many of them thanks to Caryl's hospitality and advice.

    Robin2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Air B & B booking and completely exceeded expectations. Caryl was a a lovely host. The self-contained apartment was spotless, cosy and comfortable. It was very well appointed and so much more personal than a hotel. Lots of home comforts and nice touches. Within a few minutes walking distance of town and parking at the rear.

    Anne2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying at Caryl's house during our four days in Pembrokeshire. The basement is spacious, cosy, and well separated from the main house, so it does feel like a little apartment. We found the kitchen exceptionally well stocked for preparing lunches and cooking dinners, i.e. all of the pots and pans, utensils, thermoses, plastic wrap, etc. It really did feel like we were staying in a home, and we felt very comfortable there. We really appreciated all of the personal touches around the space, which is very lovingly decorated. And we found Pembroke in general a good base for our walking day trips around the National Park.

    Lorna2017-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We were delighted to stay in Caryl's lovely apartment. Caryl is hospitality personified. She couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming. She also offered many suggestions as to places to visit. We truly felt at home in Pembroke.

    Sean2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely comfortable apartment which is only a short walk to Pembroke Castle and all amenities. Caryl is a warm and friendly host who went out of her way to make our stay a wonderful experience! We would have loved to have stayed longer!

    Julie2018-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Caryl's apartment is lovely. It has everything you need. It is spacious and comfortable and has a proper kitchen and a lovely garden with an area to sit outside. The location is great, easy walking distance of everything in the town and to public transport. Had a great week in Pembroke.

    Joanne2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was such a wonderful find - spacious, homely, with a lovely kitchen and lots of living space. It is also the most dog-friendly air-bnbs we have ever found: our cocker spaniel had a lovely time and was given lots of fuss and attention. The price is extremely reasonable and the apartment is walking distance from the castle and town centre - cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone hoping to explore the area!

    Andrew2018-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Caryl's apartment is a sweet little place with your own kitchen and living space. It is a 5 minute walk to town with all local shops. Caryl is so lovely and very welcoming to us. She gave us lots of information about where to go and things to see. There was also space to put our surfboards which was ideal! The place is about 15 minutes from a beautiful beach with amazing surf. We would defiantly stay again!! Thank you Caryl!

Own parking space, safe entrance hall, leading to a spotless roomy and welcoming flat complete with private balcony with a partial view of the castle, very comfy bed, excellent bath and shower, well-equipped kitchen and personal touches like tea, coffee, chocs and sweets provided. • Excellent host - great communication throughout booking which is always reassuring, in addition to checking if all was ok during our stay. Jackie met us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome to the apartment and area. All the extra details where Jackie has clearly thought about her guests are much appreciated - as mentioned before, such as tea, chocolates, hand soap even (as we always forget) etc., especially after a long(ish) journey. The apartment has everything you could need, with an extremely comfy sofa and bed, meaning for a very restful and relaxing few days exploring Pembrokeshire! We would certainly recommend this to others, and hope to be back ourselves! Thanks again Jackie, we loved it!

A newly renovated house, with brand new sofas, furnishings, linens and towels. Superbly situated in Pembroke with lovely walks, shops, restaurants, pubs and transport along with a stunning Norman castle, birthplace of Henry VII and the Tudor dynasty. 2 nights minimum stay low season, 7 nights high season.
Pembroke has a fabulous castle, a wonderful mill pond and is a wonderful base for visiting the rest of Pembrokeshire.
  • Georgously tasteful bright holiday home. A lovely mixture of old and new. Well designed layout and easy to clean. My whole family loved it and didn't want to leave! Excellent communication and welsh cakes to have with our cuppa when we arrived with wine for later! Knew that if any problems arose Lou would be a text away and always helpful. We loved being in handsome Pembroke town with a supermarket and fish and chip shop near by for a treat. Plenty of lovely beaches nearby and Tenby for a bit of kitsch. Happy holidays!

    Juliet2016-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The house is at a great location in Pembroke. It is on the Main Street of Pembroke. The Pembroke Castle is approximately 15 minutes walk away. The town center is approximately 5 minutes walk away. The house is very lovely and homey. The king-sized bed were very comfortable! The house seems to be newly renovated so everything looks brand new. Lou, the owner is very helpful and accommodating to our arriving schedule. She also bought us Welsh Cake as welcome gift! We will definitely come stay at Lou's again if we are around the area.

    Kam2016-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great property and I would recommend it! It was a great location in walking distance of the castle, a great fish and chip shop and some good pubs. It was spacious with a nice big dining table and enough sofas for us all to sit down (8 adults and 2 kids). One of the rooms with with bunk beds was very small, but it doesn't detract from a great house. Brilliant house for families with lots of toys ad books which my nephews loved. Owners were great and it was really good value for money!

    Sarah2016-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • As a group of 10 ladies, all family and friends, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. A key was left for us in a lock box to let ourselves in, so we didn't actually meet our host, although I was in contact with Lou before our stay and during. We appreciated the Welsh cakes and wine that were left as a welcome gift for our arrival. There was ample free parking outside the house and were right opposite one of the pubs serving food that we visited on the Friday evening. The street is small but with a variety of homeware and gift shops to browse in, and pembroke castle at the end of the road too which was an enjoyable mornings activity. Pembroke is not the type of place to visit if you're looking for nightlife or the hustle and bustle of the city, but the house was well equipped and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. There are a few places to take a day trip nearby, such as Tenby and Saundersfoot, if you are staying for longer than a weekend. The beds were very comfortable, and Lou was reachable to help us out with any queries we had at all.

    katy2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time climbing in Pembroke, especially thanks to Lou's wonderful house. Comfy beds, everything spotless and even a bottle of prosecco to welcome us! We would love to come and stay again!

    Natasha2016-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house was immaculately clean, really beautiful, and in such a good location - so close to the beaches, and right on the main road through Pembroke. Lou left suggestions for things to do, which we really appreciated. She also left us a bottle of bubbly and some Welshcakes, which was a lovely surprise!

    Ruth2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We have had the most wonderful time staying at Lou's (Website hidden by Airbnb) was comfy, clean and spacious...the kids loved their own beds and playing in the big garden...just have to say that the photos dont do it justice.. it is soooo much better in real life...Lou was always a text away and advised us on where to visit...when we arrived we were welcomed with yummy Welsh Cakes and everything to make a cup of tea and coffee...we are definitely coming back to visit again...thanku Lou for being fantastic and i hope next time we come to stay we get to meet you xxx

    Mariam2016-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lou replied to our messages very promptly and gave us all required instructions of how to get into the house etc. We were welcomed with Welsh cakes and a bottle of champagne, which was lovely. The house itself was amazing, very tasteful and perfect for our big family of 8. The kids had a great time too, there were books for all ages and games that we could all play as a family. The weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time in the garden at the back, which also had enough seating for all of us. The location was perfect, with lovely boutique shops and we all bought things from. Overall we had a very memorable holiday.

  • Fabulous rural getaway to a beautiful educational farm. Walking distance to Pembroke, where there are plenty of places to visit & eat. Great location for sightseeing. We did Barafundle Bay, Stackpoke & Manobier Castle. Everything you need on a budget is provided, just need your own home comforts to add to. We woke up to the sound of a donkey, not too early but made us wake with laughter. Kids had an amazing time, although they found it hard to adjust to the compost toilet. A great escape and opportunity to teach little ones about environmental issues. Huge built in bed, sheets were provided so we just needed sleeping bags and pillows. It was very warm! Loved it, recommend!

  • Dear Greenlinks / Glan Y Farm, Thank you for a memorable and inspirational visit! Even though we only stayed 1 night, we thoroughly enjoyed as many aspects of the farm! Lovely walks all around and to the nearby castle. The animals are almost better-behaved than others I have encountered and the goats were delightful! Even the showers were cold (solar heated), my 6 year old braved it anyway! The hut was remarkably cosy and spacious (even for tall people). Will definitely be back once available for longer. • This place provided a terrific experience for our family. It was close to Pembroke Castle and Bosherston, and being so close to the animals was brilliant. The cabins were cosy and the kitchen was well set up for us to cook in and eat.

  • Neri and David were splendid! I checked in a bit later than anticipated as my walk from Tenby went longer than expected and they were very accommodating. The room was immaculate and very comfortable! The facilities were homey as well! In the morning when I had to leave early they left out a nice breakfast for me even though it was earlier than their usual breakfast time. This is a place you WANT to stay!

    Tyler2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Neri and Dave are delightful hosts. They operate their home as a bonafide, licensed BnB, and it is a thoroughly professional operation. My room was small, almost "monastic," but that was all I needed and it was quite comfortable. The room was clean, well kept, quiet, and adjacent to the shared bathroom/shower. Neri cooks a terrific vegetarian breakfast, and, bless her heart, she even did a small load of laundry for me. Great stay.

The Barn at Kingston is a luxury holiday cottage situated on a family run farm, only a mile and a half from the historic town of Pembroke. The Barn sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious open plan kitchen-diner and living room. The property has a private courtyard and wifi. It is only a 5 minute drive from many of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful beaches (Freshwater East can be seen from the Farm entrance). The perfect location from which to explore Pembrokeshire!
The Barn at Kingston has been converted from an old granary, carthouse and stables into luxurious three bedroom holiday accommodation with two bathrooms (one a walk-in wet room and one with a roll top bath), a light and airy open plan kitchen diner/living room and a private outdoor courtyard.
We are located just outside the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. For any keen walkers, public rights of way connect the farm with the coast. There are a number of amazing beaches within a 5 -10 minutes drive. Being only a mile and a half from Pembroke also means that there are shops, restaurants and cafes within a short distance, as well as the famous Pembroke Castle (birthplace of Henry VII).
  • Well kitted barn conversion in a rural setting close enough to the nearby beaches a Pembroke town, while far enough off the beaten track to offer a secluded stay. Nice big bath tub for a good soak.

    Brett 2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely week staying at the barn. It's really spacious and comfortable - big bedrooms, bathrooms and sofa! - perfect for a relaxing break. The location is rural but a great base for exploring south Pembrokeshire, there are beautiful beaches nearby and Tenby and St David's are within easy driving distances.

    Grainne2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, really good base to explore Pembrokeshire with some fantastic beaches within a short drive. Really quiet and peaceful on the farm and surrounded by green fields. Sara is very friendly and willing to help if needed. Rooms are really big and the layout downstairs is perfect for socialising with the kitchen, table and large sofa all close together. Great value and would definitely stay there again.

  • Great place, great host.

  • We needed a large space for a family short break. We were grandparents, parents, toddler & a baby. The Barn was perfect for us all and very well equipped. It was cosy, peaceful and spacious with a large outdoor space. We had a lovely time there and we would recommend it for a family holiday. Very close to town, country and beaches.

    Sian2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We've just spent a lovely 3 nights at the barn. It's very peaceful with a kitchen window looking out over fields and plenty of walking opportunities from your doorstep. Our children just loved being on a farm as tractors and lambs are about as exciting as it gets. The accommodation was great for the 5 of us. Three bedrooms with two doubles and one bedroom with two singles. The communication before we arrived was excellent and we found the barn with no problems. Every time we come to this part of Wales the weather is glorious (dont look at the forecast). We made the most of the fantastic Pembrokeshire beaches about 10minutes drive away like Broadhaven South in the National Trust Stackpole Estate and Manorbier. Highly recommended.

    Tom2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Barn at Kingston is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived to a warm welcome from Sara who had been friendly and helpful prior to arrival in finalising details. The farm is quiet and peaceful but still very close to Pembroke for any essentials. The Barn is wonderfully spacious and fitted to a high standard. The open plan kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are big and comfortable and the bathroom and wet room are ideal. It worked well for us with young children having the double and twin rooms on the ground floor. Our children loved staying on the farm and really enjoyed seeing the sheep as well as the tractors at work. The Barn is well located to explore this part of a Pembrokeshire. We enjoyed a number of lovely beaches and spent quite a bit of time in Tenby including a boat trip to Caldy Island. Pembroke Castle is also well worth a visit especially as it is so close. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would love to return soon. Thank you very much Sara.

This first floor apartment provides light and airy accommodation with character features. Lounge with huge sash windows faces south and overlooks the grounds, bird feeders, etc. The bedrooms face east (morning sun) and overlook the entrance and huge conker trees. The bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms (not huge). The apartment is within a listed building which has been recently converted into apartments and is somewhat quirky with a few stairs leading down to the bedrooms.
This is our first year renting this apartment for holidays and it has been popular with both families (max 4 people) and couples. We are happy to accept children over 6 but regret no pets.
There is plenty to see and do in Pembroke and Pembrokeshire........beaches and boats..........gifts and gardens........shops and sailing........walks and wildlife. Pembroke is a great place to live and Pembrokeshire has it all, from sweeping beaches to quaint villages, and lily ponds to ancient stone churches, Pembrokeshire seems to provide a picture-perfect scene at every turn.

  • We had a wonderful weekend in surprisingly sunny Pembroke staying in Adam and Sue’s lovely apartment overlooking the water and impressive Pembroke castle. The apartment is beautifully finished with a luxurious modern feel; all our needs were catered for including all the little extras you hope not to have to bring while in self-catered accommodation: real coffee, toiletries, tea, sugar, laundry tablets, washing up liquid, candles etc. Overall we wouldn’t think twice about staying here again and with so much of Pembrokeshire still left to explore, perhaps we will...

  • Thank you so much for a fantastic getaway, the apartment was beautiful and so perfectly located for local amenities and access to the stunning coastline. I couldn't have asked for more, Sue and Adam provided us with loads of little hints on places to visit and restaurants to eat at, which was so useful when you don't know the area. Pembroke is a lovely little town and the castle is really impressive, especially when you can wake up and drink your coffee whilst looking at it! Overall brilliant, I would love to go back. Thank you

  • Thank you Joanna, we three old Aussies a long way from home, had a wonderful time in Pembroke and greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay in your house. To other visitors thinking of booking this accommodation it is not just a stripped down holiday rental. It has a wonderful eat in kichen with all the tools and inclusions you could want. For those with children there are Tv's in several rooms, lots of games and Dvd's and a neat backyard to play in. Very comfortable lounge and three bedrooms and toilet upstairs. For longer stays there is a washer and drier in the utility room. Off street parking is helpful. The house is set in a quiet cul-de-sac ( very quiet neighbours at the back) and just a short drive (or£4 taxi) from the end of the one way Main Street with its Coop shopping and many pubs and restaurants. Many thanks Neil

A cottage with attitude! Come and stay at our place with style and charm. This house is very convenient for a family group or a couple with mobility problems. A purpose built large wet room close to the ground floor master bed room gives a couple easy access to all the main reception rooms. The house has been modernized to a high standard with all new beds and matress' etc. The kitchen is fully equiped and the back garden is secure for most dogs.
This house has just been modernized to a very high standard. The whole kitchen and white goods are new. The kitchen table can extend for more guests. The bedrooms are all redecorated with new furnishings to a very high standard. There are different colour towels for each guest so you do not share by mistake, when using the bathroom. There are three toilets on the ground floor. The toilet in the wet room is higher and the sloping floor allows you to enjoy a shower with ease. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower over the bath. The garden is dog friendly but we would appreciate if you pick up any litter and place it in the bin provided. There is a dog bed in the utility room. Please do not allow any animal in the bedrooms.
The house is within an easy walking distance over a footbridge to the town of Pembroke. We have several convenience stores for newspapers and food shopping, a very well known local shop called "Wisebuys" for fruit and vegetables and more than one antique emporium in town.

Close to Pembroke town, yet set in a quiet and secluded position with great views. There are several fantastic beaches and coastal walks within 5 miles of the property. Plenty of quirky cafes and quality eating places only a short drive away. The Bosherston Lily Ponds and Green Bridge of Wales are nearby and the historic town of Tenby is a 20 minute drive. The house is conveniently located and has a spacious feel. World class climbing here. Good for larger families, big groups, and dog friendly.
You don't get many properties with views like this...situated at the top of St Daniels Hill, we overlook Pembroke Castle (yes really...!) and the wonderful Preseli Mountains can be seen in the distance to the north of the house. There is also a stroll past an old church to the south, which leads to a beautifully scenic sitting area, overlooking Windmill Farm and ideal for a mornings contemplation with a mug of coffee!
This is a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire, very close to a large part of the Pembrokeshire coast, and the house has great views overlooking Pembroke town. Also very central to many wonderfully scenic and varied beaches.
  • A beautiful secluded location overlooking Pembroke yet within easy walking distance (albeit a steep hill). Plenty of room for everyone in the 4 genuine double bedrooms with comfortable beds, which were most welcome after those long days out in stunning Pembrokeshire.
