Bob's cabin is spectacular! Far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I loved walking the trails, taking our kayak on the lake just steps from the back door. There is a small enclosed area outdoors, I thought we'd need to utilize it for the dogs but the property was so expansive, our dogs had plenty of space to roam far from traffic and the outside world. (Be aware of critters!) We had two amazing meals at the Backwoods Smokehouse about 10/15 min drive from the house. Capped off our evenings with some beers around the bonfire. The cabin was decorated thoughtfully with both cozy and historical touches. It was a place out of time.

A great little cabin in the woods. Close to St. Augustine and local stores. The lake is beautiful and great touches inside the cabin. We will be back!

The place was very nice. The walking trails were great, and the lake had a good fishing hole. Catch and release. A good spot if you love nostalgia. Barely any phone reception in the town, so it’s best to come for the relaxation and not work. There’s a good country diner close to the cabin as well.

The property was beautiful. The cabin was amazing just like in the movies. Fishing was fun! We used artificial the whole time. The neighbors on the lake were very nice and helpful when it came to fishing spots. The cabin made us feel at home, and our dog had a great time running around outside.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! Beautiful, tucked away, and near everything you'd hope to see or do in Ocala. My boyfriend and I enjoyed canoeing on the lake (so much wildlife!), going for long runs on the dirt roads that wind through the forest behind the house, playing cards at the biker bars in the area, and spending lazy afternoons swimming at the springs. We visited 5 different springs during our trip, and by far the most serene and beautiful was Salt Springs — just minutes away from the cabin. So many fish and blue crab — and swimming down into the boils was a magical experience. It's also worth a trip to Silver Springs to kayak or canoe down the river! We saw alligators, manatees, turtles, hundreds of birds... you can't swim there, but it's a lovely stop. Anyway, the whole trip was amazing. If you have the chance to stay here — do it.

Kira’s place was very cool and charming! It’s a great place from which to explore Ocala National Forest, with all the springs, rivers, etc., that are there. Great kayaking and hiking! What we liked about it: It’s on a cove on Lake Kerr, with great sunrises over the lake. It’s pretty remote and very quiet. There are other houses around, but we didn’t see anyone else. It had funky, charming, lake house touches. Everything worked fine, and there were staples like milk and filters for coffee, and some condiments in the frig. Kira responds super quickly and with lots of useful details! Things to be aware of (although they didn’t bother us): The water does have a strong smell of sulphur and iron. There was some bottled water to get us started, but you’ll need bottled water for cooking and tooth-brushing. You can refill water jugs at the Publix supermarket (there’s one in Ocala) for 35 cents a gallon jug. The stairs are steep and there’s a landing with no railing, so if you have kids I imagine you’d want to know that. We couldn’t get cell service for phone calls or texts. (We couldn’t get that in the whole area of the National Forest). No biggie for us; we liked that! There’s WiFi, so we could get email and our laptop worked fine. We could get FB messenger also. All in all, we’d definitely recommend it! It was unique, in a good way!

We stayed at Camp Fox Den for Valentine's Day and Daytona 500. It was such a cute cozy little spot for a fun and unique stay. Kira was super quick to respond, give us tips on the area, and left a few fun special touches for us. Definitely recommend this spot for couples looking for a unique adventure!

The place is exactly as pictured. Rustic and charming with lots of great touches. I stayed in the winter and Kira had heaters available along with plenty of blankets. Worth mentioning that the stairs to the loft could be difficult to navigate for anyone with mobility challenges. This place would be great for a couple looking to get away and/or experience the nearby hiking and kayaking. I’d stay again.

Kira’s place was great, and we had a great stay.

Kira's place is amazing if you are tired of the city and want to stay closer to the nature. Cabin has everything you might need. Kitchen is fully equipped and has all the essentials. Breakfasts on a deck became our favourite part of the day. The shower was a bit disappointing - water pressure was rather slow, but other than that we had a wonderful stay and would love to recommend the cabin to others!

Our expectations were high given the previous reviews, but they didn’t even do it justice. Sharon made sure our stay there was perfect. Everything was squeaky clean and her touches of hospitality were evident in every room. We didn’t have a long enough visit to take advantage of all of the amenities in the resort (pool, clubhouse, etc.), but from a prior stay I knew there is much available to keep you busy or opportunities to just relax. Without any hesitation I would recommend Sharon and any rental she would have available. We look forward to a return visit again soon and will definitely reach out to Sharon to book a place with her.

Sharon's place is a pleasant surprise in every way. I have never stayed in a camper and it was very comfortable from the comfy bed to everything that you need in a kitchen. Safe and lovely!

Sharons place was great. Very clean and comfy. She was great on instructions and operation of the camper. The golf cart was a added bonus.

The view is amazing! The kitchen is fully stocked and we brought a lot of food to cook so it was great. We took the canoe out and the dock area was the best part.

Beautiful property, secluded area, apartment spacious and well laid out. Would definitely stay again. I will say it is a bit of a trek for a large grocery store/shopping or something to eat, but the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Bed is comfortable.

The information provided on the website was exactly as we found it. The place was spotlessly clean and decorated appropriately. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. The view of the lake was superb and The boathouse was extremely enjoyable and peaceful. Our host, Glenn, was the best as he showed us everything we needed to know for a pleasant stay.

This is a very nice, quiet and relaxing place to spend a weekend or longer. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly and the apartment appeared just as advertised. I would definitely stay here again!

I had a great two days at this place. The house was sparkling clean and all the amenities were up to date. Direct TV with surround system, great for late night movies. The mattress in the bed was awesome. I had a great sleep which is hard for me to say. But the best part of the property is the dock. I was supposed to read a few books during this trip but I just sat at the dock and watched the most beautiful skies and the reflections of it on the lake. Definitely will be back. We had a great weekend at this quiet lakeside home. The views of the lake and the milky way at night are two reasons I would definitely return.

Very cute cottage in Fort McCoy. Cassandra and Walt are the friendliest hosts. They went above and beyond with extra thoughtful touches like having a s’mores set up ready, hanging a swing for our daughter and even lending us some bochi balls and teaching us how to play. My daughter enjoyed getting eggs from the chicken coop in the mornings. Thank you Cassandra and Walt. We enjoyed our stay!

A perfect getaway to enjoy nature and still have comforts of home. What spectacular view of the stars in night sky! Our hosts were outstanding and very thoughtful with touches to add warmth. In luring sharing their hen’s fresh eggs with us! We enjoyed toasting our own s’mores with fire pit. During the day sitting outside watching a falcon and lovely birds flying around the property. We enjoyed the short drive to Ocala National Forest and to explore the Yearling trail.

Book this, will not regret! The cottage was adorable, chic and the perfect couples getaway. My boyfriend and I rented this space and can’t wait to go back. I had a lovely stay at the cottage. I arrived in the day time and it was easy to find. Walt was outside when I pulled in, he welcomed me and gave me a little tour around the property and helped me get a fire going. Beautiful clear sky with many stars at night. I didn’t get around to making s’mores but the fixings were provided, a thoughtful touch. It was peaceful and quiet there. The cottage was clean and cozy, the shower was hot. A short ride to Ocala National Forest and some easy hikes. Walt and Cassandra were very friendly and hospitable. I’d definitely stay again.

Cassandra and Walt are truly super-hosts. They wrote me back within 3min of every question I had. They left such nice touches with the s'mores, firewood, grill ready to go, and all of the amenities you need to be able to live very comfortably. We were able to pick up a few steaks and potatoes from a gas station/corner store right up the road and have a great dinner outside by our mini house. We picked our own eggs from the chicken coop in the morning. We had 3 dogs that loved to roam around. They also had so much firewood chopped, thin and dry ready to be dropped into the fire. It made for a very easy fire which was very appreciated. Nearby there are several things you can do. We took the dogs for a nice trail hike, and the next day went on a long kayak ride. Both activities are minutes away. I cannot wait to go back and explore what other adventures I can get into here.

Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here. It’s a cozy set up, but all the details are there. Clean. Hard to say enough good things about the fabulous property and horses. The hosts communicate well and are attentive. A great stay!!

Lovely small place. Fabian was amazing showing us around. Very clean but not very spacious. It is gated and located in the far end of the road when you go through the gate. Definitely recommend

I enjoyed staying in the country surrounded by horses. The space is clean and comfortable. Although it was just me, I liked how there were two separate small bedrooms with privacy for more people. Fabian was responsive and helpful directing me to their place after dark.

Lovely quiet spot. The dogs gave a happy welcome when I arrived. The space is cute and the location is great for anyone attending trainings at the Chi Institute.

Best airbnb ever. Period. Quiet, spacious property in short distance to many of central Florida's most magical sites. Likewise, it was easy to spend a full day just at the house enjoying the hammocks, the canoes, the many beautiful trees and nooks and crannies. If you need to get away, this is your haven. Also, check out Tommy's Seafood down the road and get yourself some seafood to panfry or grill!

Everything about this special place exceeded our expectations. Ruth leaves nothing to question and responds immediately if needed. Time spent wandering this private and sprawling property, under the majestic trees is like balm to the soul. (Both human and canine alike) We left organized and energized. If we find ourselves back in the area we would love to spend more time here!!

Beds were the most comfortable we have experienced at an AirBnb! Place was very clean. Nice location on a lake. Plenty of room.

If you are in the area do not let the fact that this is an RV prevent you from booking. It has everything you need and more and John the host will ensure your stay is a great one. The area is full of things to do and the property is extremely clean with friendly folks all around.

A great place to take it easy. We loved having the Jacuzzi so handy. I had never tried an inflatable Jacuzzi before and found it really comfortable. I think it like it better than a conventional one. We found enough pots and pans to make simple stove-top meals. Plus the grill works great if you want to cook outside. Head down to the fire ring for sunset and you are bound to make a new friend. You are free to build a fire in the ring. Wood is available at Dollar General and the Wooden Nickel Emporium just up the street. ($5/bundle. Just leave your cash in the little box.) Check out Silver Glen Springs nearby. They have more trails than the Salt Springs park across the street if you're looking for a little hike. Buy your meat, produce (and booze) on the way to Salt Springs. Dollar General is convenient, but their main focus is shelf-stable foods.

When Airbnb asked me to choose what stood out the most, I wanted to pick every category! What you see is exactly what you get. Such a relief to stay at such a well run Spa-V (this needs to be a trend) with a host who is a fabulous communicator. If you are coming here to get any work done, let John know beforehand. He will get you all set up with your connectivity. I had to use WiFi calling for my ATT service. It worked just like a normal call. The internet service is great. I got lots of work done AND got to pop around the area to swim in the springs. Glorious working holiday.

This RV is in a large campground on the edge of the Ocala National Forest so is pretty remote from city amenities. There is a strip center adjacent to the property with several good restaurants, a busy laundromat, post office & Dollar General. The lot is close to the lake so viewing amazing sunsets is a short walk away. There’s a nice community building close by that offers church service on Sunday, events during the week, a nice library plus pool & ping pong-& it’s next to the pool. The RV is comfortable & John is a great host. Enjoyed our week!

John was very helpful and quick with response time. He offered lots of tips for us to enjoy ourselves while we stayed. The RV is in a great spot. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the gazebo overlooking the water. It was so quiet and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave. We hope to go back soon!

If you're looking to getaway for the weekend or curious to explore places like the Ocala National Forest where you can hike, bike, kayak, John's place is the ultimate glamping experience. It is situated in a very clean lot with a lake park right in front of the space. When we arrived, everything was in pristine condition and ready to go. John leaves you with plenty to do including 2 bikes, a jacuzzi, the spa, or if you wanna netflix and chill, you can BBQ and dine in your private gazebo and head right to the recliners after where you can watch your shows on a nice TV or HUGE pull down projector screen with BOSE surround sound. Its so nice to have your own shower too! The bathrooms in the park are also exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed our time at Johns place. it is the perfect reprieve after a long day of exploring the surrounding area. Book it, you'll be happy you did.

What a great getaway in the beautiful Salt Springs FL! John was very helpful with check in and tips along the way. Romantic gazebo for meals outside, sauna and bike rides during the day, and hot tub with surround sound movies at night. Doesn't get much better than this. Don't hesitate to book!

The Peacock Perch was clean and very quite. First our need for the night. Pretty lake and really looks like old Florida.

Of all the places I have stayed at in the past, Clea's place was my favorite. It is so enchantingly beautiful and serene. I loved the orange trees and the view of the lake was great. This is a wonderful place to unwind and refresh. It's very cozy and has a great old Florida feel. The peacocks were fun. They kept looking at our chrome bumper and pecking at their reflections. I loved this place so much that I didn't want to leave it for a second. I will definitely be booking this place again!!

Perfect place to stay in the area. Clea thought of everything! Highly recommended.

We felt fortunate to have discovered the Peacock Perch cabin. It was as presented by Clea on AirB&B. The cabin has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen allows for daily food preparation. We ate "in" the majority of our week-long stay. During our stay the Florida temperatures were very cool and we were thankful that there was adaquet heat available. There were plenty of towels, and clean bedding. Communication with Clea was easy. Some of the other features we used were the screened porch, WiFi, the washer and dryer, and the paddle boat. Overall, it was a great stay.

Wow - what an oasis Peacock Perch is! The scenery is so tranquil and beautiful and you have a crystal clear lake right in the back yard. It's an animal lovers paradise (the peacocks are amazing!!). The locals in Melrose are so welcoming and Clea's recommendations were exactly what we were looking for (check out her guidebook). The house was incredible value - full kitchen and washer / dryer as well as loads of space for a couple to hang out. We really want to go back if Clea will have us :) 10/10 best air bnb!

What a Wonderful Glamping Experience!! My son and I had a blast staying at the Pedal Pusher We enjoyed making the S’mores that was left ready for us 😊 I enjoyed listening to the radio and telling my son stories from my days in the 80’s that the song reminded me of 🤗 The whimsical decor made my Glamping experience so cozy The bed was comfortable and had comfortable pillows,blankets and comforters The outdoor shower and dressing room was so amazing We picked fresh eggs in the morning for breakfast and sat and ate outside surrounded by nature So Peaceful and exactly what I was hoping for Hope to be back some day soon

Beautiful place. They had everything to build a fire in the fire pit with stuff to make s'mores. Unfortunately the camper was just to small for us. First problem was me having to squat in the woods because I didnt have any room on the toilet. Then the tiny bed was just more than we could take after a very stressful day. We ended up leaving less than 20 minutes after arriving.

Our stay at Cassandra’s and Walt’s Petal Pusher Vintage Trailer was a unique and wonderful experience. For my wife and I, it was a trip down memory lane when we had a small Surf Side camper of our own. We loved the petal pusher. A great opportunity to be in the midle of Ocalas Forest. it was like camping but much more confortable. If you are an adventurer I tottaly recommend! Walt and Cassandra are very kind and helpfull!!!

Cutest little RV this side of the Mississippi, awesome location. Super quiet, no better way to get the nature/camping feeling without the hassle of doing actual camping. Everything was ready and perfect: fire pit was already packed with wood, grill was ready to fire, the attention to detail is amazing. You can't go wrong with this listing.

Enjoyable stay

This is smaller than we expected for a fifth wheel. But it worked well for our weekend visiting family. It was very clean and had all the things we may have needed. WiFi worked the best we have had in past experiences in Salts Springs. And price was right.

We found our host Laura to be generous and helpful. The place was clean, inviting and comfortable. She lent us her kyacks and even trucked them down to the lake front and back . She lent us her golf cart and that was fun too. Her instructions were point on. wed definately go again

If you like a quiet community, camping, fishing, swimming, pickleball, meeting new people, biking, hiking, exploring Florida and staying in a nice camper; this is the place. We loved it!

This is a comfortable home on its own property right on a small lake. There is nothing fancy about it, but we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The host lives next door. He is helpful and generally available on short notice.

Nice place I do recommend

The pictures don’t do this property any justice. I love the layout of this beautiful, spacious lakeside getaway. The host has mostly everything labeled which is very helpful. There were items like coffee, trash bags, spices etc. that I haven’t seen at an air bnb that I have stayed at. The neighborhood was super quiet and the lake was peaceful. If you’re going to choose this place I encourage you to go out back to the lake and catch a sunrise. The host was super friendly, professional and very prompt in her responses to any question I had. My family and I will be going back .

Beautiful sunsets!!! The cabin is nice and had everything we needed. The only thing we wished we had was a small boat. You need to go out into the lake to catch fish.

A nice relaxing time on the water

This place is absolutely amazing. A little hideaway from the everyday stress but not to far out of the way. There’s these cute ducks that you can feed, and sitting out by the fire pit just gazing up at the stars was so relaxing. We can’t wait to run away again to this little gem of a place. It was much more than I expected.

Nice camper on a quiet lake. Close to Hawthorne-Gainesville trail for biking and running enthusiasts. Stormy weather when we were there so the fishing was no good, but look forward to trying again.

This place was a lot better than the pictures. We enjoyed our stay there and would have loved to stay longer. It was very relaxing and quiet. The RV and all surroundings of the property were very clean. Camper was well stocked and we didn't need some of the supplies we had taken with us. It was a wonderdul weekend at Allison's place.

I highly recommend this air bnb. The location is perfect for a getaway right on the lake. The camper was more stocked than I anticipated so you really don’t need to bring much besides your self and your belonging. Don, the father, is very nice and helpful. I loved renting the kayaks and the boat. The neighbors are kind. Overall a super great experience and we plan to go back soon.

I can’t say enough how great our stay was. We were in a very stressful closing process on a house and spending time here was exactly the relaxing time we needed.

Beautiful sandy beach. Clean lake. The RV was also very clean and lots of outside entertaining area.

Fun watching the neighbor’s ducks. The lake was quite busy on the weekends with people boating and jet skis running. Neighbor dog, Bogey, is a sweetheart. We enjoyed his visits.

If you want a slice of Heaven this is your place to go. I personally need some alone time to sort out my thoughts and refill/recharge. This place is absolutely beyond words - amazing.

This place was amazing! It was a little cold but there was heaters so it was okay and it was clean. There was kayaks and canoes available for use. I will definitely be coming back! Marcus was a fast responder and this trip was way better than expected. Can’t wait to come back! This weekend trip was a 10/10

I had such a blast out here!! Very serene and beautiful! It was pretty chilly when we were here but that didn’t stop us! We enjoyed a camp fire and loved the space!

Honestly you can expect peace out of this place. I enjoyed sitting on the kayaks watching the sun go down.

Ruby's Retro Retreat was a delightful respite from the craziness of the world around us. Nestled within the Ocala National Forest, Cassandra and Walt have filled this vintage trailer not only with loads of wonderful, funky furnishings and special retro touches, but they have obviously invested a great deal of love. The trailer is much larger than I expected, and has everything you need for a great holiday. Communication was speedy and helpful. Excited to return!

Absolutely adorable little spot convenient to Ocala national forest hiking and springs. The fire pit outside was awesome, the inside is decorated in a vintage style that really works! A+++ on the awesome vintage fridge. The bed is super comfortable with great linens. Less than 1/2 mile away is a little grocery store and a few convenience style stores. Very well done. I’ll be back!

Perfect stay for a wilderness get away for me and my 2 teens. We rode trails in the jeep all day and evening and had the ideal place to settle in and rest up. Safe, cozy, clean RV. Plenty of room for all of us. Convenient full kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook anything you're craving. Plenty of storage space. Easy to drive golf cart to enjoy the sunset over the lake. Everyone is very welcoming. We will be back.

Great little spot. We rented a second RV so that we could have a family reunion. We were able to fit in three generations of our family. It was so much fun and the outside fire and BBQ really made the evenings. We walked to Salt Springs recreation park and enjoyed the warm winter weather and swimming in the springs. Silver Glen and Juniper springs were only a few minutes away too. The golf cart makes trips to the stores easy for our older relatives. Excellent communication throughout.

Jason is a great host. We had a great weekend getaway with our one year old husky. He provided everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend. The community is very friendly and accommodating as well. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Jason’s RV was perfect for my kids and I. It was clean and bigger than expected. The outdoor area was great for grilling and having a bonfire. The park had lots to do and the Spring was across the street. We will be back!

We enjoyed our relaxing and tranquil moments this past weekend. It was so nice to able to find this “hideaway” by precious daughter who really knew her parents needed special time away. Spotless, nicely furnished, a bed to die for with great pillows, all the little things thought out, great view of lake, privacy, quiet, spacious, and a shelf of the little things you might forget. Example is a an electric tea kettle, mr coffee and a keurig machine to cover all options. Nice dock to relax on and a gazebo too.

This is my second time staying at Ryan's place and I would go back again! It is so nice and clean with great views of the water and the bed is very comfortable!

Ryans place was beautiful! The house was sparkling clean and he was quick to respond when I had questions. The bed was the most comfortable bed I think I ever slept in and the lake behind the house was so pretty! Will definitely stay again!

Stayed here for a week work trip and it was a very peaceful stay out on a beautiful lake, if your looking for something secluded in the outdoors this is a great stay!

Swan Lake is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for peace, there's nowhere better. I am heartbroken to leave but am definitely going to make it a priority to come back soon. Marcus and his property manager Kelly are truly awesome people and very accommodating. You will be amazed at how breathtaking this property is.

Perfect hideaway from the world distractions

This is a great experience. It’s in a beautiful, rustic lakeside setting so you really feel you are away from the rat race, but the cabin is so comfortable and well-appointed that you never feel like you are roughing it. An excellent experience!

Very clean and nice place to stay. Very quiet with a great outdoor space. If your looking for a clean space to stay with everything provided to cook with and enjoy the camping life then this is your place. Great host.

PUPPY FRIENDLY. Was a little concerned when I first pulled up, but it is the perfect little spot. Opens out to some nice woods (great for me) but is close to very small town (big plus for the wife). Gas stove, small fridge, nice bed, fire pit with seating, and some basic dishes, too. Had a fantastic weekend, really glad we picked this spot. Tip: we went on a holiday weekend and you could kind of hear the neighbors in the distance at times, but even a small speaker covered that easily when we were out at the fire pit.

Very comfortable bed. Beautiful place for campfire. Perfect for relaxing, unplugging (our choice...there is WiFi) , and having rich conversation. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cassandra and Walt.

Great hideaway

Spent a weekend with three teens, and it was a perfect weekend! The location enabled us to do a drive in movie, horse back riding, and tubing the crystal clear springs! We enjoyed the fire pit at night and grilling our dinner. This a great getaway for all ages!

It was private an secluded. Only complaint there was no hose to use for filling the little outside pool. An fighting the mosquitos at night.

What a charming home! We loved our stay! We were in the area to kayak some of the springs runs in Ocala National Forest. The house was so convenient to the springs. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening on the porch and coffee out back with plenty of space for our dog to play ball. Cassandra and Walt are wonderful hosts. Very responsive. We will absolutely stay again.

awesome place to stay. We didn't want to leave. Colleen and Dan (rvers) were awesome and our fur girls loved playing with their fur boy Murphy. If you have well trained dogs, you can run them and they can enjoy playing off leash at this house. You HAVE to try the outdoor shower! It was amazing. Got to meet Walt on our way out, what a neat family! By the time we left, we felt like we belonged. We will be back! P.S. We got the RV!!

Amanda’s place was super cool. Stars for days and very quiet. The horses were beautiful. She has great communication and offered many suggestions on things to do and places to eat. I feel like I made a friend there and I would book again anytime I’m in the area.

Love the ability to get away for a good price and this place fits the gap perfectly between a hotel and camping. You get all the perks of a hotel with the privacy and location of a campsite. Plus the hosts are awesome 10/10

Little Lu Lu is a perfect getaway.

Little Lulu is a dream! The atmosphere that Cassandra and Walt have created with Lulu is perfect. It’s all about the little touches that they have left that make Lulu feel like home instantly! Loved feeling like I was at home, but away from everything. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Cassandra and Walt's entire property is spacious, charming, and comfortably tucked-away off the main road, just outside of the main sections of the Ocala National Forest. My girlfriend and I stayed in Little Lulu for only two nights (they have at least two other RVs/campers, that I saw), and it was a wonderful camping/"glamping" experience! The Rv had everything we needed: we could cook meals on the stove, and there is also a charcoal grill provided, as well as firewood for the fire pit... nothing was missing! They are kind enough to allow dogs, which was a definite bonus, as we were also traveling with my dog, and the dog also enjoyed exploring around the perimeter of the rental property, unbothered! I would stay here again, at Little Lulu or in any of the other cute-looking RVs that they also rent, 100/100 times, when in the Ocala area! Also, I really appreciated Walt and Cassandra's tips for places to see while in the area, as we ended up visiting several of the spots they mentioned, for some great canoeing and swimming!

Walt and Cassandra greet you right away and show you where to park. Then they will let you know about all of their amazing amenities and you will feel comfortable right away. The bed is extremely comfy and there is a heater for cold nights. You can cook on the grill. They even have fresh eggs from the chicken coop for your breakfast!

Truly a wonderful getaway! The beautiful cabin is clean, bed is comfy and the neighborhood is great. The lake view is fantastic. Betsy is wonderful host. We highly recommend and will be returning!

I can’t say enough great things about Betsy’s place. More than anything, my wife wanted a relaxing getaway weekend with our dogs for her birthday. We picked the PERFECT location for that! The view of the lake is stunning. The home is extremely clean and there are so many amenities provided, making it super easy to just come in and relax without a care in the world! We enjoyed using the kayaks, and the fire pit for s’mores but more than anything, we really just enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the property and each other’s company. It was everything we could have asked for and more. If you’re on the fence about which lakefront property to book for a relaxing stay in Florida, look no further! We will definitely be back in the future!

An unbelievable experience, the cabin is amazing. The property will have you outside all day. Also loved kayaking with the kids. If you’re going for groceries, head to Melrose for that 9 mins away. Much nicer than Hawthorne’s Hitchcock market. Five Stars

The house was very clean and the view was spectacular. If the opportunity affords, we would definitely stay there again!

House was much bigger than expected. Gorgeous lake. The firepit was a hit. Log cabin was adorable. Only thing that was a slight issue was the ant hills out back but we started watching where we were and became more careful. Owner was very responsive. We would definitely recommend this lake house.

Very clean beautiful place with awesome host. Beautiful views in the afternoon and in the morning. You couldn't pick a more relaxing and quiet place to get away, we are definitely going to make our way back sometime again.

Amanda’s got a quite and peaceful little homestead, way down a narrow dirt road, away from any hustle and bustle, under a big, country sky. She’s got a couple horses that nicker time to time, and a pair of sweet dogs. I found Amanda very down to earth and easy to talk to. I’d stay at her place again, if I’m back in the area.

Amanda and The Double Trouble Ranch were amazing. I couldn't have picked a better place to spend my birthday and to get away from it all. The vibes and energy in her house and whole farm is beyond explanation. The stars, the horses, and the dogs are the friendliest beings. She makes you feel welcomed and at home! I truly recommend it 10,000% ! Also, there's so much land to roam and picnic. It really is a perfect getaway. THANK YOU AMANDA, FOR SUCH A GREAT STAY. HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!

Great host

A nice clean house on 5 acres, the room was clean, bed comfortable, shower was hot and Amanda is a cool chick. The house is down a long narrow single lane dirt road. But that’s how you get quiet country nights. I’d book her again if I go back up there.

Cassandra and Walt are totally super host, they took time to show us their amazing place, we had a great time with camp fire , marshmallows and the outdoor shower was a plus.

Unfortunately, a medical problem prevented us from enjoying a stay at Cassandra and Walt's place. We were in touch to advise them of our issue and they were extremely accomodating in trying to handle a late or delayed arrival. When we finally reached the point a visit couldnt occur, they even offered us a rain check! What wonderful hosts!

Loved the fact that we had fresh chicken eggs for breakfast, for those who don't know they have laying chickens not more than 200 feet away and and you you can get your own eggs for breakfast.

Sweet people; knowledgeable about what activities the area has to offer, and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The cute little details show their love for their properties, and for making folks comfortable and (and making new friends), as they host.

I live in Jacksonville with a typical busy, hectic life, strapped to my phone and computer. My BF and I were looking for someplace "out of the way", "quiet", "disconnected", so that we could focus on each other. We found that and so much more at Cassandra and Walt's place. Our little RV was adorable, clean, and well appointed. Our front yard included a well stocked fire pit, rocking chairs, and more charm than you could imagine. We enjoyed gathering eggs in the mornings, showering in the great outdoors (even though our RV had a shower available), and letting our dog run free on the property. Walt and Cassandra had some excellent tips for excursions, and they were quick to respond when we needed anything. We cannot wait for our next visit!

The Dreamcatcher was definitely a dream. The hosts are super welcoming and the hospitality was superb. I thoroughly appreciated them showing us the land, our camper and their warm personalities. I cannot wait to visit again and will definitely try out their romantic little cottage - I highly recommend staying in either of their campers. The personal touches, the vintage feel and the absolute beauty of the night sky made my getaway one I’ll always remember!

Thank you Walt for being an amazing Host really enjoyed our stay. Due to a lil issue from our part at the dreamcatcher our host Walt and Cassandra upgraded our stay to the blueberry cottage. I went from a cozy place to an amazing place. I will be forever thankful of the hospitality and kindness of this Superhost. These are Genuine people that care for your stay either short or long to be a total great experience. The cottage had a bottle of wine and all the ingredients to do S'mores by the fire. So many lil details to make your stay welcome. Best thing of all i could enjoy the place with my 2 dogs since is a dog friendly place. I hope to come back again to enjoy the beautiful nature and shower under the stars.

Great hosts, they're very responsive and were on top of everything and make you feel welcome. Loved the location, and my son loved the chicken coop and fresh eggs, we had privacy and hosts provided fire wood and charcoal for grill. Highly recommend it.
