See a full list of picking seasons and offered fruits and veggies. Jelli's Market in Helenville WI. Wisconsin Sky Diving Center- Specializing in first time sky diving, if you're a naturalist and an adrenaline junkie, look no further.
  • We had a great stay in the loft. It was the perfect setting for our annual planning meeting.

  • This book is beyond perfect! It is right between two major cities, Madison and Milwaukee. It also offers the beautiful scenery of a more rural setting while only being 10 minutes from the freeway. The personal touches that the hosts and other guests get to add to the studio really seal the deal though.

  • The loft worked out perfectly for my sister, son and I. Jordan and his Dad greeted us as we pulled in and were extremely friendly. Everything we needed was provided and the quiet location was greatly appreciated. The eggs and English muffins were a nice touch. We would definitely like to return when visiting our parents in the area.

  • Place is amazing. It's a steal for the price. I highly recommend this place. They are also very nice!

  • Jordan and Ashley are very helpful but do not infringe on privacy at all. The place is well equipped for cooking and is incredibly comfortable for a couple. The location is good, with just a short drive to an outlet mall and some good restaurants not too far away. It was a lovely stay.

    Eve2017-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley and Jordan were so welcoming and accommodating. We weren't able to arrive until very late on our first day at the loft, and they were so understanding and lovely. The loft was absolutely GORGEOUS, the photos are beautiful but they don't even do the space justice. Ashley and Jordan thought of absolutely everything, we had anything we could possibly think of to make our stay perfect. The big pieces like the amazing lofted bed, the huge TV, and the unbelievably huge bean bag were amazing but it was the tiny details (hanging plants, candles, breakfast, a beautifully crafted beer selection laid out just for us, etc) were what really blew us away. We will DEFINITELY be back as soon as possible. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing weekend in your special space, Ashley and Jordan!

    Mary2016-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Don't sleep on this place, sleep in it! My girlfriend and I were looking for an end-of-summer getaway and this was exactly what we wanted. This listing (and their silo) is by far the most unique in southern Wisconsin. Jordan and Ashley were exquisitely friendly and open. You are getting much more than your money's worth by booking here. We wish we could've spent more time here, and we'll definitely be back! Check out their silo too! It looked amazing. Thanks Jordan and Ashley!

  • Great hosts, perfect place to hang out even if you live as close as Madison or Milwaukee. We did some kayaking down the Rock and bark and ate dinner at the Elias inn supper club in Watertown which was great. Ashley and Jordan were very hospitable and gracious host. The loft is above their garage which is nice to be part of a big building but in reality , you're a world away. Can't say enough about the space, just a really well done airbnb

Welcome to the Hugel Hutte! This cute little cabin is perched on the hill top. It's feels like a tree house! You have the kitchen to use, but the famous Fox & Hound's restaurant is just steps away. It's literally right next door. So grab a few drinks and dinner...and walk home to your cabin retreat for the night. Enjoy the tranquil naturescape surrounding the house.
Tons of nature and the convenience of having the famous Fox and Hounds right next door. There are 22 bird feeders around, so lots and lots of birds. Lots of deer, turkeys, herons, hawks, ducks, and frogs. Enjoy a nice fire down the hill in a nice secluded fire pit area. Feel like a swing on a tire swing or play a game of washers, you'll have that too. Then come inside the cabin to relax in a comfy ol log cabin. Like music? The cabin is equipped with the awesome sonos sound system throughout the place. Play guitar? There is a nice Martin guitar there for ya. Play the piano? There is an (in tune, in pitch) old upright for you to play with. Want to try banging on some djembes or try playing the didgeridoo...there is that too. Want to make a fire, there is plenty of firewood.
The area square mile surrounding the cabin feels like Upnorth Wisconsin. Your little northwoods escape just a short drive from Milwaukee. Lots of great hiking and great paddling in the area. If your a fisherman, there is a really great fishing lake just a mile away.
  • You will not regret booking with this cabin! Such a great space. The interior is absolutely stunning, fantastic amenities, and such a scenic area. Brad was super responsive and truly made this trip such a great escape for us. We have no hesitation booking with Brad again!

  • I really enjoyed my time here. It was a great place to relax and unwind. Close to a few restaurants and 15 mins from a grocery store. The place was very stylish and clean and I found myself really enjoying the patio with a book.

    Stephen2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place is lovely.

  • Brad's place was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the kettle morraine forest and surrounding area! He was extremely welcoming , laid back, and easy to communicate with ! The space itself is clean, cozy, and especially peaceful ! We enjoyed just listening to the sounds of nature on the porch which is surrounded by an enchanting wooded area and playing his guitar and piano! His recommendations were greatly appreciated! Our favorites were the Loew lake unit and Wally and Bees! We hiked, kayaked and took advantage of his swimming suggestions !This is a perfect spot for rejuvenation and natural beauty and we would love to stay again in the future!

    Elizabeth2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a real gem. The beautiful decorating touches, privacy, comfortable furniture and bed, kitchen staples and wonderful deck made this spot a special place. If you are musically inclined, this place is for you. Very nice guitars, piano, percussion instruments are all there. The Sonos sound system paired perfectly with our devices. Took the short walk to the Fox and Hounds for dinner. We will be back. Chuck and Kathy

    Kathy2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Brad's hugel hutte is even better than it looks in the photos and description. The deck and grounds are park-like and the house is cozy and comfortable. I'd come back in a heartbeat!

    Jaimie2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Brad's cabin was idyllic for our brief escape from the city. We only stayed one night and it rained the entire time, but we felt warm and cosy making home in this very cute, stylishly kitted out log cabin. Our toddler was kept wonderfully entertained by all the musical instruments Brad keeps (no need for toys) and, in a brief respite from the rain, also loved the tire swing by the river. If the weather is nice then there's a great fire pit down below the cabin too that I can imagine sitting around eating smore's... We also discovered a slack line for those feeling adventurous. The cabin itself is kitted out with everything you need, kitchen-wise. We didn't feel like cooking so just got carry-out from the Fox & Hounds lodge restaurant, which was pretty tasty! We had a very comfortable evening relaxing on the big squishy sofa watching movies while storm raged outside. We want to come back when it's cold out so we can make use of the excellent looking log stove!

    Amy2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • If looking for a quiet getaway this is the place. The scenery was breathtaking and the cabin was was true gem hidden away in a secluded area. We were very pleased and will rent it again when we come up this way

  • We stayed at Teri's during the week of the US Open and throughly enjoyed our stay. The town is quaint, but centrally located to larger cities to explore. There were restaurants close by. Be sure to visit Holy Hill and Monches Farm. Teri was a gracious host and very kind. Enjoyed meeting her dog Jasper. The countryside is beautiful. Very relaxing location. The house is charming.

  • This house is perfect for large parties. We had 12 people for my family reunion and No one felt cramped. Some of the rooms are huuuuge. The lake itself is pristine and has plenty of bluegills, carp, some Pike, and other fish I don't know the names for. We had a lovely time and Krysten and Mike were super friendly and responsive. 10/10 would recommend!

    Remi2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kristyn & Mike have created a special lake home space at The Point House. Our stay was all we hoped for from first point of contact to reserve the house to pulling away at the end of time on Peninsula Drive. The house is incredible, the views are gorgeous and the property is beautiful. Lake living doesn’t get better than this, and we are looking forward to visiting again next year. Don’t miss an opportunity to experience this!!! Loved every minute!!!

    Camille2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We really appreciated Mike's orientation upon our arrival and availability if we needed anything. The home is beautifully decorated, so comfortable, and what great views from every room! We felt like we were at some luxurious spa. There was much attention to detail to insure we had a wonderful stay. Being on a peninsula of a very quiet scenic lake was a real plus. We saw some really big fish off both docks! Point House is a historic treasure that we were fortunate to stumble upon and hope to return again.

    Tina2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I booked this place for a winter weekend in February, and it was great. Beautiful home, plenty of space, and a great hot tub. I bet it’d be even better in the summer

    Samantha2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Kristyn and Mike's house. They were great hosts who made the process easy and were very responsive. They left us with a lot of local recommendations and made sure we were comfortable. As a big family, it can be hard to find spaces that accommodate all of us comfortably, but this house was perfect. The home was charming and historic, but had the modern touches (bathrooms off of most bedrooms, for example) that made for a very enjoyable stay. The lake was beautiful and surrounding town was a lot of fun. We loved our visit!

  • Wow! This place is fabulous! The 5 bedrooms and 5 baths are very spacious and well equipped. Kristyn was extremely helpful. She answered all of our questions and was able to supply us with all the canoes and kayaks and anything else we needed. We would definitely recommend taking advantage of the pontoon boat. We enjoyed touring the lake and trying to find all of the fishing hot spots. The house has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. There are tons of games for indoor play and tons of games and equipment for outdoor play! We will definitely look to book this beautiful place again!

    Rita2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing spot! We were a family of 11 with kids and everyone is very active so having access to the boat, bikes, water toys, canoe, life jackets, was all key. And we enjoyed the hot tub. We cooked a lot, and appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen. The house is beautiful architecturally and decorated with flair. Mike and Krysten really know hospitality.

Lake house getaway only 2hrs from Chicago and 1/2 hour to downtown Milwaukee! Natural wood burning fireplace. Steam shower and two person Jacuzzi tub. Pool table in garage. 60 inch HDTV. FREE WIFI. Rare SAND BEACH & swimming area. Sorry, no parties.
    The whole home is available.
  • Jason included very detailed instructions and was responsive to all messages I sent prior to our arrival. This was helpful, but there were unfortunately parts of our stay that were underwhelming, such as the cleanliness of the house, an overwhelming amount of rules posted everywhere, and not having the place well-maintained prior to our arrival (beds without linens, leaking toilets). If these areas were addressed, I would recommend staying at the house as it is located in a great place and it has the amenities one would want for a tranquil stay.

  • Initially the drive down the private gravel road had a few run-down homes, but this one turned out to be beautiful beach-front property! Easy lake access. Clean sand and water. Great fishing as well! We were pleasantly surprised. Caught 13" and 18" bass and many good-sized bluegill. At first we had some miscommunication about boat rental, but Jason was very quick to respond on the sewer and furnace issues. The house linens and kitchen items could use just a bit of tlc, but overall the house was mostly clean, and we had a nice time with our family.

  • The house was fairly clean, although the dishes had to be washed before they could be used. The home had clearly been painted recently, and the carpets looked brand new. Also, the kitchen is HUGE, with lots of counter space. The beds are not the most comfortable, and there were no extra pillows or blankets, so bring some extras from home, if that’s important to you. The location was GREAT, and Watertown is such a great town. Host responses were slow, and I had to message him several times before he sent me the welcome packet prior to my arrival. I will definitely come back to Watertown, but will probably stay somewhere else.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Two separate bedrooms for rent individually $65 per night . Loft has sitting area with DVD/small DVD library, WIFI, Shared full bath with shower. What to do when you are here? Be our guest and just relax! Cooler months just keep the fire going while we are at work and warmer months keep the pots watered and enjoy the sound of running water by the pond. If you have special needs please contact us to ensure we can accommodate your personal situation. An additional bedroom is available at the same rate but we have found most guests prefer not to share the bath. So we do not open it up unless guests are ok with sharing the bathroom and If you are interested in the entire home please ask!

  • John and Nat's place was a dream come true for a weekend get-away. Extremely comfortable, a wonderful location, and you can tell that they love their house and land -- the yard is full of things to explore. Highly recommended!

  • Very nice space and great host. The home was immaculate, and John and Natalie made us feel welcome. We enjoyed their company by the bonfire. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the Milwaukee area.

    Steve2014-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie and John were wonderful! They hosted my son who was traveling alone and made him feel very welcome. He reported the room was "super nice" and John and Natalie were "great." Thanks!

    Andrea2015-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • When you arrive you are greeted by the small pond and babbling water, accompanied by the various birds in the area. The area for guests is comfortable and private, and includes use of a comfortably furnished loft. John and Natalie are perfect hosts; there when needed but respectful of the need for their guests to have privacy. I would say the accommodations are ideal for couples (including older ones like ourselves). You will not be disappointed.

  • Lovely area, friendly family (plus adorable and well-behaved family dog) and excellently spacious. There's a nice sitting area with a TV + DVD player but we ended up playing boardgames sprawled on the empty floor a lot since there was so much space. There is some sound from the house above—it's a basement, after all—but nothing bad, and the comfort of the space more than makes up for it.

Thanks for checking out The Corn Crib! Located between Milwaukee and Madison but yet in lake country. Surrounded by farm fields, glacial drumlins and Wildlife Reserve land, the location is quiet but easily accessible. Most activities are 5 to 25 minutes away. Madison and Milwaukee are equally about 45 minutes away. Fun fact: Corn cribs were simply built as a granery to dry and store corn. They were first used by Native Americans, but European settlers quickly adopted the technique. Close to biking/hiking trails (Glacial Drumlin Trail), rivers and lakes. If you're looking for a mostly off-grid and rustic glamping experience, this is it.
The old corn crib sits on the family farm and has been fully converted and remodeled into a tiny cabin. Everything inside is hand built. Water is piped over from the barn roof-filtered rain water system and running water is only available in the bathroom sink. There is a TV that can be linked to your smart phone device to play whatever it is you'd like to play. -Drinking water -Glasses -Plates -Mini Fridge -Microwave -Toaster oven -Electric kettle -French Press -Manual grinder and coffee beans Great for those looking to get in some nature, stars and fresh air. A good stop to make if you're biking the Glacial Drumlin trail or heading up north for the weekend. PLEASE NOTE: - Its Tiny! The space is under 100 square feet. -The Corn Crib is very much a glamping situation. Please come with a mindset of camping with a few unique frills. -During the cold season, there is no running water. The bathroom is a composting toilet/outhouse. Clean and well kept. -1 oscillating fan in the loft -Propane fireplace
Things to do! Rural Wisconsin. Fresh air. Stars and frogs at night. Sometmes you can see fireflies light up the fields come dusk during summer months. Quiet. Campfires (bring your own wood). Close to one of Wisconsins best biking trails (Glacial Drumlin Trail). Nearby snowmobile trails. Rivers. Lakes. Kayaking. Halfway point between Milwaukee and Madison. Most activities within 15-25 minutes: Multiple lakes and rivers for any kind of water fun you can imagine. We recommend Upper Nemahbin (say that 3 times fast) for their kayak and paddle board rentals and their secluded warm shallow bay. Rent a kayak or boat to get to the bay! Al's Bait Shop on lake Nemahbin for pricing. The rental shop is located next to their cozy bar (Panga) with beautiful outdoor seating where you can watch the sun go down over the lake while enjoying a pretty decent copper cup, Mascow Mule ;-) Good cross country skiing and downhill skiing within 25-45 minutes. Glacial Drumlin State Trail- beautiful 52 mile biking/walking trail. It is located just a few minutes bike from our house. A converted multi purpose rail trail that connects to the Ice age trail. Please see there website for more details. Vetro Winery- Offers tour packages complete with wine tastings and pairings. About a 10 minute drive and 45 minute bike ride via the Drumlin Trail. Call to reserve. Jelli's Market- 5 minute bike ride from our house. A fun day of picking strawberries or raspberries is sure to delight you, especially if you eat one or 2 while you work. The ride out to the field is bumpy and sure to make you giggle and the small petting zoo will entice your inner child! If picking isn't your thing, you may buy them pre-picked. See a full list of picking seasons and offered fruits and veggies. Jelli's Market in Helenville WI. Fireside Dinner Theater- This local dinner theater is renowned for its live performances of many classic Broadway musicals and plays. It has been a staple in the area for many years. If you love music, acting, and art, please take a night of your stay to enjoy this local treasure. The Bark River- Spend a summer afternoon floating down the bark river, inner-tube purchases available where you put in at Pickets, a small town convenience store. Other fun lakes: Rock Lake-Lake Mills. Check out their Sandy Beach. Okauchee Lake, Okauchee. Pewaukee Lake, Pewaukee. Check out their beach and paddle board rentals. Johnson Creek Outlet Mall; If shopping is your thing, the mall is only a 10 minute drive and offers enough stores to satisfy anyone looking to shop till they drop! Aztalan State Park- Home to historic Indian Burial Mounds. It's a beautiful park with a history lesson. For more information see Aztalan State park for more details. Hwy 18 Outdoor theater- Feeling a bit retro? In summer you can enjoy the local outdoor theater. If you've never done this, it's a wonderful experience. Bring your blankets and pillows, lean your seat back and enjoy the show. If you have a truck you're invited to swing it around and fill the bed with whatever cozy items you'd like, including your pet. Have a look at Highway 18 Outdoor Theater for show times and directions. Jefferson Swap Meet and Car Show- One of the largest outdoor car shows in the area, over 99 acres of classic cars for your viewing pleasure. The cars are beautiful and the giant ice cream bars are as good a reason as any to check out this event. Check the website for dates and times. Wisconsin Sky Diving Center- Specializing in first time sky diving, if you're a naturalist and an adrenaline junkie, look no further. Closest grocery stores (within 15 minutes): Mobile station (convenience)- Sullivan Pick N' Save- Oconomowoc Walmart- Jefferson Walmart- Watertown Walgreens Pharmacy-Oconomowoc
  • This place was perfect for my stay! Jordan & Ashley were really easy to communicate with and check-in was super simple. The Corn Crib they’ve built is a unique, cozy “tiny house” that is perfect for those looking for something simple with a great location. Thanks for the great stay!

    Thomas2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • The corn crib was cozy and comfortable. The ladder up to the loft bed was not an issue for me, but may prove challenging for others. The property is quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend!

    Lauren2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Certainly a place worth staying. The corn crib was smaller than expected, and could use some minor upgrades. Although I didn’t get to see it, I would recommend the silo or barn loft over the corn crib. If you’re looking for a good sleeping only arrangement between Madison and Milwaukee, you certainly can’t go wrong here.

    Jacob2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Corn Crib was a darling spot to spend the holidays in-it is very much a tiny house making it a cozy and intimate space which we loved so much. The property is lovely and the hosts helpful and accommodating! We loved that they were pet friendly and allowed our furry companion to stay with us! We were the first guests here and some kinks were still being worked out in the space but overall it was wonderful for our purposes and the price. Great location between Madison and Milwaukee with excellent hiking in every direction-we hope to be back!

  • Fast communication and friendly accommodations! What a gem!

  • Lovely little space for a quick getaway, or for anyone toying with the idea of tiny-house living.

    Micah2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed the corn crib! I went up for Labor Day from Chicago. The location is tucked away and was perfect for a long weekend. I ignored my phone all weekend and really took advantage of the local attractions. I went kayaking at the Nomad location(based on a brochure in the cabin) , hiking the Ice Age trail, brought my own supplies for a fire and made s’mores, enjoyed a local brewery, spent lots of time reading/relaxing, and of course got some poutine! It’s really a glamping experience. I brought some food and ate out some too. (The only downside was how many mosquitoes were nibbling on me the whole time.) The hosts were very hospitable. Hal (Jordan’s Dad) told me the history of the area and the barn on the property, built before/around the civil war! On my way back to the city I went to the Pleasant Prairie outlet. It was really was the perfect retreat. I hope I can visit again in the winter or spring.

    Ted2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • The location and room accomodations are incredible. You are on the lake an no more than 10 minutes from downtown Delafield. This would be an ideal getaway place or a lodging for the family visiting St. John's Military Academy.

    Sean2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • My mom and I had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING time staying at Tim’s place! It was the perfect mix of getting to know the locals and retreating to enjoy the beauty and peace of the lake house. Tim was very attentive and even invited us to join him and his friends at a local festival! We were welcomed with open arms by the new acquaintances, and we had a blast dancing and listening to the band. Thanks for including us in your fun! Waking up to rain falling on the skylight and Tim’s delicious breakfast was the icing on the cake! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and would gladly stay again! Since it was raining, we decided not to go out on the lake but the views were enough to keep us relaxed and happy for some quality time. THANK YOU!!

  • Tim was an amazing host to say the least. He has a very lovely home with a gorgeous view. It was clean, and comfortable. We felt right at home. As a bonus he showed us a great night on the town and we had access to the boats he has. It 100% exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to stay there our next trip!!

  • Tim welcomes you into his house and home. There is a screened porch and an outdoor deck from which to watch the sunset along the lake, which you can explore with his canoe, paddleboat or kayak. If it was warmer I would have swam! He is located in a great area in southern Wisconsin lake country with plenty of nature to explore and towns and restaurants to appeal to your culinary side.

  • Great value, super clean.

  • Greg's place was perfect for my son and I after a trip to a Milwaukee Brewers game. We had the entire place to ourselves - including two bedrooms (one queen and one twin), each with a full bath attached to it. Everything was clean, and Greg was friendly and quick to respond and was very helpful, with a few local tips as well. We didn't get to meet, but he was accommodating of our late check-in and left clear instructions. Soap and towels were available, but no shampoo, etc. - which wasn't advertised, so not a big deal and definitely not a complaint - just an observation so visitors can prepare accordingly. No wifi as well, which was fine for me, but my teenage son was a little grouchy about that. Again, though, that was as advertised. Bottom line - I was very happy with our stay and definitely would stay again if we are ever back in the Milwaukee area.

    Darrick2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! Greg was great at communicating with me and the condo is in a safe, quiet community.

  • Will definitely be a return visitor!! The home is in such a picturesque spot but just 10 minutes away from shops and restaurants. The place is brand new and very clean. I felt so relaxed and at home. I was in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place to rest amidst crazy bridesmaid-duties. This is the perfect get away for the solo traveler or couple. Can’t wait to come back!

    Mary2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We knew this place was going to be tiny, but until you see it, you won't understand how such a tiny place can have so many amenities inside. If you're familiar with Ikea products you'll know how to identify and open all the spaces for storage. At first glance you don't know where to find things or put things. The refrigerator is large, but there is no freezer compartment. However, there is a portable plug-in ice maker available. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful and the property is beautifully landscaped. You'll enjoy using the patio table and chairs pool-side for eating and/or relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if we ever return to the area, we will come back to this lovely place.

    Jody2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We will easily be back again! It was nice to be in a very private area but still so close to shops and the city. As their first guests we went into it unsure, but we had a wonderful time! Lisa is beyond an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% comfortable! The space was not the largest, but for just the two of us it fit our needs and was nice to be close together! We can’t wait to stay again!

    Dustin2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy stand alone building adjacent to a beautiful built-in pool. Lisa, our host, communicated promptly with us and let us know if we needed anything she was always available. The location of the home is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac in a beautifully kept-up neighborhood. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy while having coffee on the pool deck. Enjoyed our stay.

    Joe2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Modern and very clean! It's a tiny house with a homey feel. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive. I still stay again.

  • Carmen and Bill’s place was in a beautiful area! They had food for breakfast each morning and they made sure we had our privacy! The area is so beautiful and their home is too!

    Janel2018-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend!!!!! Their home is absolutely impeccable and their property is private and lovely. The host was a pleasure to communicate with and very accommodating! If we return to WI, we will definitely look them up!

    Mike2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about how much I loved staying at Carmen and Bill's beautiful home. The room and bathroom is perfectly located in the front of the house so that you have your own private little area. Carmen and Bill were so relaxed about my comings and goings, flexible with timing, easy to communicate with, accessible via text.... that I felt incredibly comfortable being there. I also got the opportunity to spend some quality time with my hosts, chatting and attending Bill's art fair... I enjoyed my time so much I extended my stay twice and honestly, didn't want to leave!!!

    Z2015-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Carmen and Bill's home is high on a hill surrounded by trees and is absolutely lovely! They were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Sharing a home with strangers might be awkward, but they were terrific hosts!

    Sally2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • I actually only booked the place for my parents' friends but I did get a chance to see the house on the day they moved in. "Beautiful" probably did not do the house justice. Plus, Carmen was very helpful and friendly. My parents' friends really enjoyed their stay as I was told.

    Lan2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • I had a fantastic time at Carmen's place. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and the hosts and their dog are a joy to be around. I highly recommend it.

    Thomas2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Carmen and Bill's home is beautiful. The neighborhood is so peaceful, I honestly felt I was away from everything, but there are things to do nearby - cute shops, good restaurants, and a beautiful area to explore. My schedule changed so I was later than I thought I'd be, Carmen and a Bill were very responsive and made sure I was welcomed warmly. The room was perfect, the view incomparable, the setting - perfect. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer, hope to go back for longer! Thanks Carmen and Bill!!

    Mary2015-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house set in wooded area. Bill and Carmen are terrific hosts and made us feel very welcome. Wonderful touches, such as fresh blueberries and blackberries and chocolate croissants in the morning. Check out Bill's amazing photographs. A great value.

******PLEASE READ****** The Full Listing Detail for all information and kindly let me know if you have other questions. I look forward to hosting you!
THIS IS THE HOME THAT I LIVE IN - You will have access to the entire home except for the master suite. During your stay, I MAY or MAY NOT be staying in the house with you; depending on my plans. You will always have full use of the house and all it's amenities, and I have my own private bedroom and bath so we won't interfere. My residence is an open concept, four bedroom house located in the quiet Lake Country community of Stone Bank just outside of the city of Oconomowoc. Minutes away from lake access to: Okauchee, Pewaukee, Pine, Moose, Nagawaukee & Oconomowoc Lake. **12 minutes south of Erin Hills, host of the 2017 PGA U.S. Open** There are lots of activities on the property to enjoy: basketball, hammock, trail walks, fire pit, indoor table tennis court, billiards, darts. NOTE: There is a Nest camera mounted in the living room. Mostly used to watch my dog when I'm gone. Lewis, my dog is a Golden Wheatie mix combining soft wheaten terrier & golden retriever. He is extremely friendly, loving & playful if you want him to be. Otherwise he's happy snuggling up to you & relaxing. I typically require a 2 day minimum for weekends. Check with me for special circumstances.
My house is on a quiet/safe neighborhood road with a restaurant/bar conveniently located at both ends of my street. My neighbor to the right of my house occasionally cuts wood in his yard so some minimal noise can be heard at times but not very often. There are a bunch of lakes & parks within quick driving distance. Holy Hill is just 15 minutes north right by the 2017 PGA U.S. Open course, Erin Hills.
  • Mike was hands down the best host I’ve had on Airbnb. Super nice and is willing to even have a beer with you and share stories. Will definitely stay here the next time I am in this area.

  • Hi Doroth (Website hidden by Airbnb) How does this sound - please tweak as needed (Website hidden by Airbnb) This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it was a wonderful experience.  Very comfortable accomodations with a home like feeling in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of downtown .  Since we had a longer stay it was nice to have access to a washer and dryer and the use of their kitchen was appreciated.  Enjoyable backyard garden. Hosts were very gracious and a delight to visit with.  Would definitely stay again when in the area (Website hidden by Airbnb) I am drawing more blanks - than flowery comments.  Please feel free to change add or whatever you think it needs.  I would stay again - but you can change if  you don't feel that way (Website hidden by Airbnb) Viv and Doroth (Website hidden by Airbnb)

  • We had a lovely time at Sue's place. Sue was an amazing host, very welcoming and pleasant to be around. The house is absolutely gorgeous! It is an old Victorian house, yet the kitchen, bathrooms and rooms were all up to date and in perfect standard! We were in town for a wedding and Sue and her family were extremely welcoming and gave us room to do as we liked, but were also there if we felt like talking. They truly made us feel at home. The house is about 30 minutes drive from Milwaukee and approximately 45 minutes drive to Madison. It is beautiful, clean and easy to find. It was a unique experience in a lovely home with some amazing hosts.

Quiet, newly remodeled, lake home with excellent swimming and boating options. Big yard, large patios, and weber grill will add to your outside dining. Open concept kitchen and living area all decorated as if you were in Cape Cod.
Druid lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the region with soft bottom - no rocks, no weeds. Excellent swimming, boating and fishing. The home has been newly refurbished in Cape Cod style, with beautiful landscaping, loads of parking space and very quiet.
My neighbors are quiet, friendly, and our lake association has many events that keep us together several times over the year. The neighbors next door are the managers of the property in my absence. They are responsible for the cleaning of the inside and outside lawns.
  • We rented this house while playing golf nearby at Erin Hills. Nicely renovated property. We enjoyed the house and the lakefront location.

  • This is a perfect little lake house for a 1 or 2 couple getaway. The lake was beautiful, small, and quiet, as advertised. Mary was very pleasant and responsive. Her neighbors were the nicest people as were all of the Wisconsinites we met there.

    Ron2016-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • I rented this lake house prior to my wedding in order to have a relaxing location to hang out and get ready before the big day. I can honestly say that the house made the weekend so much more special for me, my family and our bridal party. Having my bridesmaids there to sleep over was absolutely amazing and the house is stunningly beautiful and extremely clean. We were provided with specific instructions that we went through during the walk-through of the property, and I found this to be very helpful; a strong indicator that Mary Lee, the owner, was well organized and thoughtful. Not only was she helpful and timely with the coordination prior to our arrival, she is an absolute pleasure to deal with, even asking what my colors were for the wedding so she could coordinate flowers. The space is large, the driveway can fit multiple cars, and the amenities were amazing, I would recommend this house to anyone!! I can't say enough about this house and about Mary Lee--they are both extremely special to me and my now husband!

  • My wife, daughter and I stayed at Elisa and Steve's BNB in Hartland this past weekend. It was a great experience. Our hosts greeted us on our arrival, and were very friendly and accommodating. Their home is literally brand new. The quest quarters are in the lower level. The space has been finished in a very high quality manner. Two bedrooms with new comfortable beds, quality linens, and California closets. The bathroom and shower is fantastic. Spacious living area has more than ample furniture, cable TV, etc. The kitchen area is not totally finished but has a new refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and table. Plus, Elisa and Steve had provided plenty of coffee, water, and other refreshments and snacks together with cups and utensils. The home is located in a new residential area that is totally safe and quiet. All in all, it is as close to a home away from home as you can get.

This turn of the century silo, constructed with re-purposed materials, has been converted into a 5 story "glamping" tower. Each level is unique and charming in its own way. Perhaps the 4th floor boasts the most intrigue. Here, a hammock chair, cozy rug, automatic trap door and 6 large opening windows with a 360 degree view create quite the ambiance. There are many rivers and lakes nearby and we also have bike and kayak rentals upon request.
**Please read the entire listing!** This is a glamping Silo, please dress for the weather and come prepared for a rustic experience. The Silo from floor to rooftop stands nearly 40 feet and has 4 floors and a loft with a bed. 4 floors are accessed with a cleverly engineered spiral staircase and the 5th lofted floor is accessed by a 6 foot ladder (no pets in peak please). The spiral staircase climbs the inner wall while the floors make way in the shape of a crescent to reveal an artsy vertical view from above or below. The 4th floor is a really unique space with 6 large opening windows that reveal a 360° view of the farm and wildlife reserve land. Geese, Sandhill Crane, deer and turkey are quite often heard and seen. Bring a book, watch a movie, take in the views and fall asleep to a closer view of the stars. The loft on the 5th level is not well suited for individuals over 6 feet tall. Nestled in the peak of the Silo above the windows, space is cozy. Accessed by a uniquely designed folding ladder, Its just large enough to fit a queen size memory foam mattress, flat screen TV and DVD player. It has A/C for the hot days and a space heater for the cold days. The bathroom is a converted milk-house with hot running water just steps from the silo entrance (seasonal, will be closed before first freeze). A recently renovated outhouse is used during colder months. Going as "Green" as possible, we went with a Shabby-Chic/Industrial vibe using re-purposed material; galvanized steel, copper pipe and old barn wood. Perhaps the most interesting feature about the Milkhouse bathroom is that the supply is entirely harvested rainwater from the barn roof. A first flush diverter system and a series of filters purify the rainwater before it enters the building. Rainwater is good for your hair! Atleast thats what my granny told me :). In the lower barn (attached to the Silo) kitchen basics are provided. Sleeping- The cozy 5th floor/loft houses a queen size bed. Please note: Additional charge. For groups larger than 2, we provide a queen size air mattress and bedding for guests to set up on the 4th floor. For groups of 2 that require a second bed and linens, there is a $20 charge in addition to the extra guest charge. The space includes common (and not so common) amenities depending on the season such as: -Linens & towels -Hot water (seasonal) -Shower/tub (seasonal) -Toilet -Air Conditioning -Fireplace -Fans -Small fridge with freezer -Outlets on every floor -Bar with stools -TV/DVD player (in peak) -Motorized trap door -Hammock chair swings -Fire pit Food Prep Items include: -Drinking water -French press -Electric griddle -Electric kettle -Toaster oven -Spatula -Plates, cups, bowls, spoons, forks, knifes -Corkscrew and bottle opener
• Don't miss out on this experience! The surrounding landscape is an escape by itself; however, the love and detail put into the property is what's truly impressive. Extremely hospitable, available for communication, yet mindful of privacy. Absolutely loved it!

  • The silo was so much fun! It was a chilly night but the space heater in the loft kept us very toasty. We had dinner at a nearby supper club, The Edgewater, which was great too! A very unique and fun get away. Thanks, Jordan!

    Abby2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • The silo was very cute. They have put a lot of thought into making this into a liveable space. The milk house bathroom was as cute as could be as well. We did not get to meet Ashley, but Jordan was very friendly and helpful. Met Jordan's dad as well & loved all of the history that he gave me about the barn & area. Speaking of the area it is just gorgeous. Lots of farms around, lots of corn. Very peaceful. We rented the kayaks and went to one of the area lakes & kayaked around the marsh area. Our teenage son said that this was one of his favorite vacations, which really surprised us because he is very much into his xbox & watching movies on Netflix, etc. while we were in the silo we would just sit on the rope chairs & play slap jack cards or go fish, etc. We had many good laughs & really got back to just sharing quality family time together. No phones, no movies, just good quality family time. Thank you Ashley , Jordan & his parents (sorry I cannot remember their names) for giving us this special time. I believe that you have created a perfect place for people to get back to the simple life & discover again what is most important. Family time

  • GLAMPING is the perfect descriptor for this charming property: You'll get to occupy a wonderfully appointed space -- so much thought and serious craft has gone into the renovation of this unique property -- plus you won't really be able to completely escape the natural elements like weather temperature and insects. It's farmland, after all. Jordan & Ashley were very communicative and responsive with us right from the start. Upon arrival Hal (Dad) showed us around the property, pointed out where things like switches were located, and how to operate the spigots in the fabulous rain shower bathroom. We'd planned to make this home base whilst chasing fall colors for the weekend but loved it so much we stayed in the silo an entire day just hanging in the hammock chairs, reading books, drinking wine, and nibbling the snacks we brought. It was a completely relaxing weekend and we look forward to returning in the spring!

  • We had booked this awesome place but due to hot humid weather we felt as though we wouldn't enjoy it as much. We asked for a refund and both Ashley and Jordan agreed happily! As the amazing hosts they are they offered their loft as alternative option. We agreed and WOW!! Yet another amazing place that was just perfect! Mohamad and I had the best time. I just want to thank Jordan and Ashley for turning a hot situation into a cool and chic one! (Hope you get the joke). They are the best hosts! Kind and lovely couple. Next time we are back in Wisconsin we will definitely book this place again!

    Claudia2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay here. Ashley was very communicative in response to my questions. The space itself is lovely. I would highly recommend this listing.

    Krista2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • It was a snowstorm in April (come on Midwest!) and they made sure to make sure we were warm enough by starting the heater before our arrival and providing an extra blanket. Also special shout out for using their tractor to pull us out of the snow! Thanks for the memories!

    Vanessa2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley and Jordan were so kind to let us stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. This year, we decided to get out of Chicago and have a unique experience. Because of the cold, we weren't able to use the rain water shower/running water but we didn't mind at all. A heater in the loft kept us nice and cozy at night and while relaxing and enjoying the views. The outhouse is pretty warm and cozy for an outhouse! Although we didn't come up during the summer while the flowers were in bloom, it will still fun to stay in a silo, get out of the city, and have a "glamping" experience. Our lovely hosts provided coffee, eggs, milk, and oatmeal. Having coffee on the top floor in the morning was our favorite part of our stay. Big thanks to our hosts for providing such a fun experience.

  • Corene is a very hospitable host starting with the personalized welcome sign. I was in town to visit my parents at 3 Pillars and the location was great. Everything was clean and the room quiet. Fresh blueberry muffins and conversation in the morning were very nice touches. I would recommend without hesitation!

  • Corene and Joel did an outstanding job! Our stay in WI was a memorable one in large part because of their hospitality and attention to detail - this included being very flexible with our booking and having comfort items such as coffee and snacks available to us during our stay. The home was wonderful. It was a mix of a beautiful lake house and farm cottage with a little local sports memorabilia who those who enjoy the Packers! It was very clean and Corene and Joel went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. While the purpose of our trip was to watch the US Open golf in nearby Erin Hills, we especially enjoyed the stand up paddle board and kayaks available to us a via their private dock and lake access. This was particularly welcome after a hot day and was something that caught our eyes when booking. We spent the evening sharing stories on their dock while the sun went down. I would highly recommend choosing Corene and Joel's Oconomowoc home if travels take you to this part of the state, or if you're looking to explore beautiful countryside. Your expectations will be greatly exceeded!

Thank you for everything!

Establishment impeccably clean and charmingly decorated. We brought some food back from a restaurant that Doug and Dianne had suggested and had a meal of a lifetime with just the right music selected by Doug to establish the ambiance. Highest recommendation.
