This cabin is a hidden treasure in the hills behind Byron Bay. The only way to adequately describe it is pure magic! Enjoyed meditating in the morning to the symphony of birds singing, practicing yoga on the deck looking out onto the carpet of emerald green tree-tops and the refreshing outdoor bath in the pink glow of a perfect sunset! The cabin is pure magic and has a wonderful energy, we began to relax from the second we arrived. The outdoor bath and shower is a very special experience and even in the middle of winter, we absolutely loved it. The cabin is very private and has a stunning view out over the valley. Exotic birds sing throughout the day/night and in the mornings we awoke to the most beautiful chorus, an incredible way to start the day! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable and warm. The heater is powerful and heats the whole cabin in minutes so no need to take extra heaters in the colder months. Marie was a wonderful and friendly host, she gave us complete privacy but was there in a flash if we needed her. After just a few days, we feel very connected to this beautiful place and can't wait to go back! Thank you Marie x

My own personal much needed retreat could not have been more perfectly located than at this cabin. Absolutely serene, I felt like i was in the Garden of Eden. Each night in the outdoor bath watching the sky change colour and the stars come out, the birds, the breeze and the quiet... I will definitely be back! I feel soothed and centred and so grateful for the magic of this space.

We had a most enjoyable stay and found our experience was made even better by our lovely arrival at Water Lily with mood lighting and soft music playing on our arrival together with our personal choice of wine and other amenities. The apartment is as described and very comfortable.

Our stay at the WaterDragon Studio was an excellent introduction to AirBnB. Stu was great to deal with, meeting us on arrival to show us around and provide some local knowledge and was easy to reach throughout the week while still giving us plenty of privacy. The accommodation perfectly suited our needs and was exactly as were shown on the website (if not better). Fresh fruit, wine and milk on arrival were a very nice touch. We will look to return in the future and have already recommended Stu's place to friends.

I went with my 9 year old girl for a week to attend camp creative. This place is 'bliss.' We loved the room, the quiet, the area and the comfortable bed. There is a fresh water river to swim in, a gorgeous outdoor area to dine and the most beautiful room with the sound of birds and the smell of trees. We loved it.

It was such a lovely and unique experience to stay in the Treehouse and experience Rick LePlastrier's architecture first hand, which is very open and integrated into the surroundings of the beautiful property. Kirsty was a lovely hostess who was very helpful and welcoming.

An amazing and secluded place where you can be immersed in nature and forget about everything in the city if coming from afar! It is a remote place and so is not the same as any hotel you would normally get but this does not mean the place is under equipped. Surprisingly good food in town at Bellingen as well, the couple restaurants we went to (Qudo and The little red kitchen) were both amazing.

Kirsty and George were so hospitable and kind! The property is beautiful and secluded, and close to so many beautiful waterfalls. Our only regret is coming too early for the music festival! We will have to time that better next time.

The Bellingen Treehouse is unbelievable and has to be one of the best airbnb properties I've rented to date. The Treehouse is located in an exceptionally beautiful part of NSW and everything about this property is magical. Waking up each morning to the sounds of the Never Never River is something I'll never forget. The direct access to the river was fantastic, it was great feeling like we had the whole river to ourselves. I can't stop raving about this place to all my friends and family - I'll be back for sure. Kristy and Kurly were fantastic. From the initial booking to meeting us on the day, they were both fantastic hosts who were extremely helpful and always prompt to reply to any questions I had. A special mention to Kurly was being extra helpful during our time in Bellingen, providing recommendations and directions to local attractions.

The location is amazing - we never got sick of the view. This is definitely the place to disconnect from the world. Vanessa built the cabin herself and it's so quirky and rustic that it suits it's surroundings beautifully. We spent most of the time just hanging out on the deck and in the kitchen cooking delicious meat, eggs and produce straight from the farm. Vanessa and her family were very helpful with anything we needed, and it was reassuring to know she was only just a text message away. We'd love to come back again next time we're in Northern NSW. Vanessa had left eggs and a beautiful macadamia slice for our arrival. There was also a plentiful supply of firewood available as the weather had been very cold. The outlook was amazing, particularly from the bathroom! All up a great place to stay, we just didn't get to meet Vanessa herself.

The view was spectacular - I brought two books with me to read but ended up spending most of my time gazing out at the magnificent view. Murray & Susanne's place is a beautiful, clean and tidy spot in amongst the forest. It's the kind of place that really makes you reevaluate your busy city life as you lie cradled in the hammock on your porch, lazily watching the clouds roll off the mountain.

Very spacious house, very impressive view of stars in the sky and very good view of the mountains. Because we rent a SUV, we do not have much trouble to access the house even in the very late night. But traveller without such kind of cars may need help from Murray & Susanne. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place out in the bush. I spent a week here working from home and enjoying the cabin. The cabin was super clean, and the 2 huge jugs of filtered water was nice. I highly recommend this place to get away from everything.

My husband and I spent two nights at the cabin. The pictures are beautiful, but the cabin itself is stunning. Peta has fitted the cabin beautifully, and with such quality items. The property is just gorgeous, you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. Mullumbimby is only a few k's down the road. We really enjoyed our stay here, the location was amazing, views from the cabin were spectacular all amenities were brand new and of great quality. Best Airbnb stay!! The place was truly magical, surrounded by tall trees and a stream, the entrance to the accomodation is through a small bridge decorated with fairy lights. The surroundings felt like a place straight out of a fairytale book, like where unicorns live!! Interior fixtures however, are very modern - especially the bathroom, it would be something you could expect from a boutique hotel! Fireplace kept us warm and cozy while we netflixed till midnight! Just a short 35minute drive from Byron Bay, the value for money is so much better than staying at a regular boring hotel room!! One night stay was not enough!!!

Couldn't have been better. Surrounded by Forrest, very tranquil and relaxing. Loved how Eco friendly it was. We didn't see the hosts but we had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a secluded getaway. Thanks very much Susan and co

The Treehouse exceeded our expectations! Susan met us on our arrival and explained everything we needed to know about the cabin. The grounds are amazing and a testament to the owners eye for detail and hard work. The Treehouse was a work of art and a perfect oasis to get away from it all. Emma was a welcoming and friendly host, who left us to ourselves but made herself available if we needed anything. The room was clean, light and had everything we needed in a beautiful lush surrounding. The room is a little out of town which was actually great, as you could easilly walk or ride up to town but also grab great food at the local cafe and walk to beautiful Tallows beach in just 10 minutes. I would recommend Emma's place as a lovely Byron escape.

Emma gave me great instructions throughout my stay and was easy to deal with. The room etc was great for what I needed, very clean and lovely. Such a peaceful spot too! I used the bike provided to get around, took about 15 mins to ride into Byron and just a few mins to the beach. The Roadhouse Cafe was within walking distance and the food there is amazing. Overall very happy with my stay. Thanks!

Emma was a great host, extremely helpful and communicative upon arrival. Nice and private bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed, double shower heads for you and your partner (!!). Gorgeous garden and balcony too. Highly recommend.

I can only echo many of the other reviews which noted that Felix and Della's place is very close to all the action of Byron whilst also being blissfully isolated from all that action when you want to relax or sleep. The beach walk and beach are excellent we did it both at sunset and sunrise and both are awesome.

Great location, lovely apartment. Although I didn't get a chance to meet Felix (as we were always out and about) he was very communicative and helped us whenever needed. Would love to stay again in the future.

Felix and Della have a beautiful space and we enjoyed our quick stay very much! It's in a great location close to town, the beach and one of Byron's best cafes/hangouts. They also had great advice for activities in the area! Great hosts and a great space.

Dell was lovely and given that we had to book at short notice was extremely accommodating and efficient in making the house available to us. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at Felix's house! This lovely house located at a fantastic place, with a only 5 mins walking distance from an amazing "private" beach!!! (a national park) My wife and her friends love it so bad! Felix's place is very cozy and tidy, fit with everything we need. His girlfriend is gorgeous and provided us with lots of useful information about Byron Bay, we had an absolutely happy weekend there! Highly recommend!

A divine little sanctuary tucked away on the quiet outskirts of Byron. Lainie's bungalow was the perfect place for our weekend escape to the coast. One of the best parts was waking up in a comfortable bed, watching the trees sway in the coastal breeze and listening the bush alarm clock of birds and cicadas. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would have happily spent all day at the bungalow enjoying the serenity. Although we didn't actually get to meet Lainie, she sent us a message every day checking we have everything we needed. Thank you Lainie for sharing this beautiful space.

My girlfriend and I loved staying at lainie's little getaway. She was really friendly and helpful telling us about some of byron's secret spots. We look forward to coming back and staying again! Highly recommend staying here.

Simply Perfect thanks

Lainie was a very warm and welcoming host. She did everything to make our stay one to never forget. She was here to help when needed but gave us all the privacy we wanted. This beautiful little get away was a surprising hide away. The feel of the closeness as you arrive but the minute you step foot in the front door you have entered a different world. Bush land surrounds, birds, flowers and bush track has you feeling like you are the only person around for miles.

Lainie wasn't present for our stay, but her communication in lead up to our arrival was excellent. Big thank you to Lainie's housemate, Kaz, who kept an eye on our dog while we went out for a birthday dinner. Our dog especially loved hanging around with Kaz's beautiful, old husky, in the bushy backyard (which isn't fenced). We really enjoyed waking up in a bed that overlooked trees every morning, and sitting on the back deck; the bungalow was simple and exactly what we needed. The neighbourhood was quiet and Tallow's beach nearby is expansive and quiet mid-week; very relaxing getaway. Will definitely come back to Lainie's place.

Our week long holiday in Byron was perfected by our stay at Lainie's lovely place. The place was beautiful, facing onto a rainforest, and very romantic. Lainie was the most welcoming host, and extremely helpful with all questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately for us, the weather during our time in Byron wasn't fantastic, so it was great to come home to somewhere so comfortable and relaxing. The Den is the ultimate 'Room with a View'. It took us no time at all to settle into a couple of days of chill out family time. Our children are 9 and 12 and both of them fell in love with the chooks. We all loved walking to and swimming in the nearby waterfall. The accommodation is rustic and apart from an occasional waft of the septic tank, we all thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the window, playing games, read or simply enjoy the view. Robin and his support team are always to hand if you need anything - thank you Robin for creating a space for us all to enjoy!

The Red House was in a really quiet neighborhood, where the most noise was made by a rooster next door. :) Karen contacted us a few days before the check-in to make sure we'd find the place and would know how to check-in. The house had everything from spices to shampoo and kids coloring pictures. Can recommend!

The house was clean and comfortable. The host was very easy to get in touch with. The place was a short walk to the beautiful beach (clean and uncrowded!). We originally intended to stay for just one night as a stop over so we can have a little rest while travelling between Brisbane and Sydney. But we ended up staying two nights because it was so lovely there! We will definitely come back again!

Karen's 'Red House' at Mullaway was perfect for a quick holiday with kids. The house was exactly as described, and perfect for our needs (one adult, 2 kids, but could easily have included my partner and other child had they not had other commitments preventing them from joining us). Loads of board games were a real treat on our one rainy day, and a very well stocked kitchen made eating in a breeze. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

My family spent one night in the Red House on the way to Byron Bay. The Red House is very clean and near to the beach. Next day morning, we walked about 8 mins to the nearest beach to watch the beautiful sunrise and had a enjoyable walk along the coast. The Red House is in a quiet neighborhood environment, a good place to stay for relaxation.

Lovely house with everything we needed for a night to break the journey from Sydney to Brisbane. Would definitely stay here again but for longer next time.

We were absolutely delighted with this place. A prefect combination of a beach holiday home with modern features. As three separate couples we found the place to be a great size. The big screen tv with fox was a big plus for us to just chill out in front off (with the air con cranked on the hot days!). A very seamless experience that I will be recommending to my friends.

We absolutely loved Steve's house. Great location in the heart of Byron but still quiet and tranquil. The house itself was a dream - lovely open living area, fully equipped with everything you need, super clean, lots of space for the kid to run around, new bathrooms and an amazing bed!! The disco spa and pool were a total bonus, as was our favourite pinball game. It was more than enough for our little family and I can definitely see us returning with friends.

9.5/10 Stayed at this cracker house with a couple of mates for a few nights. We were so impressed we planned are trip back before the first day had ended! Close to town, a home with all the comforts made for an amazing holiday. How can you beat your own pinball machine for the weekend? King side beds, foxtel, Aircon and a bike each gave us that additional level of comfort that makes this place a home away from home.

The house was exactly as the photos pictured described, if not better! We had the most relaxing time at the house it was so comfortable ! The amenities are fantastic and as we cooked every day this was a huge plus! The location is excellent, walking distance within minutes of the town and far enough to feel removed from noise and party goers ;) We had our flight changed the night before and had to leave quite hastily which we felt bad about but hopefully the place was left in a reasonable condition...sorry Steve ! As the title suggests, this is a stunning home that is close to everything Byron Bay has to offer. It is the ideal location from the main street (2 min walk), beach (5min walk) but far enough not to hear any of the noise. The photos don't do this place justice. I was impressed from the moment I walked into the house and all the household amenities exceeded my expectations. It is big, has an friendly open planned living area. Steve was friendly and the logistics around payment, keys etc., were seamless. Perfect place for a small group of friends or a family. Will stay here again.

Peaceful haven away from scramble of central Byron but with easy access to it.Booking and arrival arrangements worked very smoothly. Owners have provided everything they can think of to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable( even down to spare sets of sun glasses which may have been left there but there nonetheless!). All appliances of good quality and working. Push bikes are a bonus and the pinball machine found favour with visiting grandkids. Foxtel connected with huge main screen which meant that unfortunately I was able to watch final Bledisloe test in fine detail. Enjoyed our stay . Highly recommended.

We loved Steve house and the kids loved the big bedrooms and huge TV to lounge in front of. We definitely enjoyed our wines on the deck watching the kids play in the pool and hot tub. A lovely spot to relax in Byron, and a fantastic location to walk into town and the beach from. Thank you Steve & Febe!

Steve was a great host! He replied promptly to any questions I had and was always happy to help. The place itself was perfect, it's a short walk to Byron's shops and restaurants as well as being close to the beach. We loved the hot tub, swimming pool, relaxing chill out areas and huge TV. I would highly recommend staying at Steve's place.

Lorraine was an wonderful host and her place was amazing! She greeted us warmly upon our late arrival and even helped with our luggage. The space was fresh and clean and had such a great energy to it! We were pretty tired and curled up on the sofa with a soft blanket and some tea from the nicely appointed breakfast area. The homemade biscuits were delicious and such a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated that there were many extra blankets available in the wardrobe even though we didn't need them in the night. The veranda was so warm and inviting and we spent a quiet, relaxing morning soaking up the sun and enjoying our breakfast. My fiancée is a rancher and we were visiting from Wyoming, USA and enjoyed chatting with Lorraine about ranch life and hearing about her travels and experiences. Her hospitality was refreshing and exceeded any expectation we could ever have. Our only regret is that our stay was just an overnight. We hope to return to Australia with our family and would love the chance to stay again (a bit longer) in Lorraine's beautiful B&B. Thank you Lorraine!

Lorraine was an ideal host. So welcoming and accommodating. Everything in our rooms was perfect and as described on her site. We truly enjoyed our stay and especially the period decor and relaxing verandah. The bed was just gorgeous. Lorraine went out of her way to make us comfortable. Highly recommended. Would return in a heart beat.

The house was absolutely beautiful. As listed, we were made to feel welcome. A nice vibe, beautiful things all around, great outdoor area and Lorraine went above and beyond what I expect of a host. There were little surprises for us in the fridge. We just loved, loved, loved it. Defenitly coming back!!!

We absolutely loved staying with Lorraine. She was someone we connected with right away and spent a lovely evening sharing stories over wine and canapés. She has a beautiful spacious area for her AIRBNB guest and we loved the charm and character of this beautiful space. Lorraine was a fantastic host. Having our own separate area from the rest of the house allowed us to really make the place our own during our stay. We arrived quite late and left quite early so we only got to meet Lorraine briefly, but in the discussions we had and her hospitality she made glaring impression on us of a fantastic host. We even got Easter chocolates on our pillows. Recommended highly for anyone wanting to travel to Coffs.

Lorraine's house is absolutely beautiful and she couldn't have been more welcoming. She laid out a feast for breakfast in the morning and gave us some useful tips for where to visit in the area. Also a very comfy sofa bed!

We stayed over the Easter weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. The location is central and close to shops and marina/foreshore. Our dog also stayed with us and she had no problems settling in with a nice grassy backyard to play in. We liked the old charm furnishings and had access to free wifi. There are minor cooking facilities such as a gas camp cooker on the patio and a microwave and bar fridge. If ever passing through Coffs Harbour, we would recommend staying at Lorraine's.

Lorraine is an amazing host!!! Me and my friends had such a great time with her. The place is amazing. We really enjoyed spending time with her and sharing stories during a BBQ we made. She was really helpful with everything we needed. The place is located in a great spot to just walking distance to stores and pubs.

We had a lovely stay at Billy's beach house. The house is Amazing and right around the corner from the beach. Perfect for a couple or small group of friends, the area is very quiet and relaxing and its a perfect base from which to enjoy Byron and the surrounding areas. Francine was very responsive and ensured an easy booking process.

Beautiful place. Bianca was lovely, and met us and let us in but otherwise left us to enjoy the place. The outdoor bed is amazing. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Have recommended to family in Brisbane as a perfect place to stay if hitting the beach.

Billy's Beach House was just perfect! We loved and made the most of the outdoor area, having family meals on the deck and enjoying the summer evenings outside. The house is comfortable and very funky, we loved it. And so close to the beach, which was a real plus. Bianca was charming and helpful but not at all intrusive - enjoyed our chats over the fence! No complaints at all, can thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Francine was great although we never actually met. The beach house isn't just a pleasant place to stay- it's an experience of its own that made our trip memorable for years to come. Every detail, every moment there was a joy. It was like living out in nature with a protected space as well! We loved it!!!

Francine's beach house is probably the most magical place we have ever stayed at. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The indoor/ outdoor setting is fantastic, creating a very special atmosphere that we didn't want to leave anymore. A great cafe is only a short stroll away, so is Tallow beach which is truly majestic. Bikes were provided and Byron centre is easily accessible. Francine is a wonderful host, she certainly made our stay unforgettable and we will be visiting again, no doubt. Thank you!!!

A beautiful, quiet oasis set in a lovely area close to Byron Bay. We had the best stay here with peace and quiet for relaxation, listening to the birds and enjoying reading in the hammock. Beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything so you can buy fresh produce at local markets and make yourself a local feast :) Bikes are available for use or you can walk to local shops (great bakery!) or into Byron for a swim. Thank you, Francine! We will definitely recommend and come back to stay.

Absolutely beautiful place, immaculately clean, very well presented and nice finishing touches like fresh flowers and hotel like shampoo and soaps etc. Great simple layout, very private inside and the best bath i've ever experienced - the bath was our favourite feature of the place. Well appointed with everything we needed to be able to make it our home for the 3 nights we were there. The sunset's were beautiful and the frog noises at night made us feel like we were staying in a rainforest! The place was a little closer to the main house than i had been expecting, but there were absolutely no worries with privacy and we really thoroughly enjoyed our stay - would definitely stay here again. We only had one night in the Sunset Cottage but we loved it! The space was super clean, spacious and peaceful. We would have loved to of stayed longer to make use of the deck and BBQ. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Great weekend away. Gorgeous cottage with amazing views as described. Location is a bit further from the beach if you are intending to spend more time at the beach but the sunsets on the balcony have made up for our lack of beach-time. Would definitely come back.

Sunset Cottage is lovely! A wonderful little escape, close enough to town and the beaches (less than 10mins drive) But far enough out to feel secluded. A wonderful little retreat! Be warned that being in the country, the reception & wifi is sketchy, (not ideal if you're needing to work, as I was... But would be perfect for an "off the grid getaway") It was a relaxing little stay. The cottage itself is immaculate, the views superb. Perfect for a short break!

We had a wonderful stay at Jen'a place in Myocum. The setting and the cabin are beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This cottage had amazing views and was extremely tranquil. It was the perfect place for us to escape from the city to relax. Apart from the views, the highlight of the property was certainly the large bathtub. Whilst being close to the host's house, a large dividing wall provides affords full privacy and you forget almost immediately of it's existence. Highly recommended, particularly for the price!
