A group of us (adult children, aunt and uncle) stayed at Nick's house when we were in town for a family wedding and it was perfect--enough space to accommodate those who wanted to watch sports on TV as well as those who wanted to visit or read a book. It is indeed a charming house; we especially enjoyed the porches--both front and back. And I recommend a stop at the "affiliated" Shelton Family Market--delicious bacon (among other things). Nick made it all very easy and comfortable.

We had such a wonderful weekend at this house. Nick was very friendly, responsive and accommodating to our arrival and departing time. He gave us a house tour within a few minutes of getting there and the house was exactly what was portrayed in the photos. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean and located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Everyone in our party enjoyed their stay, would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Great Notre Dame game weekend. House was about 20 minute drive from campus. We shared with another couple and had 4 grown children with us and were all comfortable in beds. Would recommend highly. Nick was a great host. Met us on Friday to walk us through the house. We had no problems at all clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable.

The house is full of character and a very personal touch to make guests feel very comfortable. Nick was so accommodating and hospitable. Nice neighborhood with extremely easy commute to ND campus.

Nick's place is great! It really is a charming victorian house. We were in town just for two nights and stayed here with friends and we could not have gotten a better place to stay. The porches are great and it's a great place to spend quality time hanging around. Nick is very accommodating, easy to communicate with, and so very nice! Stephanie texted me with instructions for finding the keys and accessing Wifi. She was accessible via text or email if we needed anything, which we didn't. The house is small but has everything you need-- full kitchen, full bath, Wifi, Netflix... It was clean and tidy until our dogs decided to race around the backyard and track dirt/grass back inside. Speaking of the backyard, if you have dogs (or kids, I guess) this house is perfect! Huge lot with completely fenced-in (6-7 foot fence) backyard. Our dogs wore themselves out racing around and chasing each other! She even has dog food and water bowls, and a huge treat jar! The house was perfect for us (2 people, 2 dogs) and our needs. Grocery stores and fast food is a short drive away, and the river is a walkable distance.

Andrea and Jeff were accommodating and kind. I had a great experience and Andrea was amazing with communication and restaurant reviews. Very enjoyable stay!

Our host was amazing, she not only had refreshments in the fridge and bathroom for us, she was easy to get in touch with throughout this process. This was my first time using Airbnb and she made it so easy. The house is really clean and comfortable, we had 8 adults and 2 kids stay here and we all had our own beds. It doesn't get much better. Friends and I stayed at Cami's as a part of a weekend getaway for us. We originally had a rough patch in finding the place and Cami was super helpful to get us there. Once we were there, we made a few meals, we had great chats with laughs by the fire pit, and slept comfortably in the evening. Cami was incredibly responsive and hospitable during our stay!

Stayed here for a girls weekend and we couldn't have been happier! This location was near several wineries and we took advantage of the driver/limo that was offered for the day. We spent the day doing wine tastings and came back to soak in the hot tub, listen to music, and chat by the bonfire. Cami was very communicative from the beginning, and she provided lots of unexpected amenities that made the trip much more enjoyable and comfortable!

My family and I were in the area for a Notre Dame football game, and had a very pleasant experience in Cami's home. The house was very clean and comfortable. The living room was a great place to relax after dinner. We also had enjoyed making s'mores by the firepit. Would definitely recommended staying heee.

Cami made sure the house was clean and ready for us before we got there. She had toiletries which were great - seriously, better than a hotel. The sheets and bedding seemed recently washed. Big house (8 of us fit). Very close to Michigan wine trail (we definitely hit that up - 7 wineries in one day) and close to notre Dame where we eat breakfast the next morning. My only minor complaint: the house is in an odd location and difficult to find. Other than that, the stay was awesome!

Georgia was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the house was a great value for the price. It's remote enough to be secluded - but not very far at all from more people if you have a car. The host was very welcoming for my party and it was an awesome experience.

She sent me a text with a dinner suggestion The Nugget. It was perfect. The home's location was an easy drive for us to go back and forth to Notre Dame for the football game. Came for the ND football game. Great location. Close to campus but far enough away to be out of the normal hustle and bustle of game weekend. If your looking for that big game party this may not be your place. We were not so it was perfect. Beautiful setting on the lake, peaceful and relaxing, and the people in the area are very friendly. Everything we expected and more.

Great hosts.....Caitlin and Brian were wonderful to meet and stay with. Their place is clean and a convenient 10 minute drive to ND, and they made us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. I'd highly recommend them for anyone visiting the ND area.

Caitlin and Brian were amazing hosts! My husband and I were their first guests, but they made it seem as if they had been hosting guests for years. They were very responsive throughout the initial inquiry on availability, in coordinating the week leading up to our trip, and throughout our stay. The listing and description of the space was very accurate. Not only is it a great place to stay for a Notre Dame (which we came in for), but just a great overall experience of exceptional hospitality. In our room, there was a personalized welcome gift for both of us (I don't want to give specific details for fear of ruining the surprise for future guests). There was also a great deal of attention to detail, such as instructions of house rules and accessing the house, breakfast options (and designation tags for the door handle to indicate your election), in room coffee station and freshly baked cookies, that made us feel as if we were staying at a nice hotel or bed and breakfast. Our only regret is that we were there for such a short amount of time that we did not get to take full advantage of all of the work they put into ensuring we had a special stay. It was very clear that a great deal of thought, time and energy went into the guest space; however, we were in a rush to get to Notre Dame and had to leave early the next morning, so we did not get to spend too much time at their place or take advantage of the breakfast offering in the morning. I would certainly recommend staying with Caitlin and Brian to anyone visiting the South Bend area, especially for anyone looking for a better option than a traditional hotel.

Caitlin and Brian are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome the minute we arrived. Our room was private and spacious and included a coffee maker and TV. Our breakfast was delicious and was a great way to start the day (especially the pork roll :)) The house is located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of parking and very close to campus. And their dog is sweet and adorable.

The place was in the process of being remodeled while we were there, so there was a little bit of disorder associated with that but nothing that distracted from our stay. The room is fairly minimalist with a queen size inflatable bed, no AC, and no television, but there's a window with a nice breeze, stands to place phones/wallets on, and an outlet next to the bed. Jay made sure there were clean cups, freshly-picked apples, and bags of snacks ready in the room, which was organized and clean. Jay's willingness to drive us around made this a great option for us on a Notre Dame football weekend. Parking is easy and the property is quiet.

Was a very clean house, and Gene was very easy to work with in terms of logistics and making sure we can check in when we needed, even on a busy ND game day. He even invited us to stop by his tailgate and was very friendly throughout.

Gene was there to greet me, provided full access to the kitchen area. room was made up and ready to use, bathroom is private and next to the sleeping room. Gene is a very amiable and genial host. I would stay at Gene's place when the South Bend area.

It has been a great pleasure to stay with Gene for the past two months. His communication has been great and very accommodating to my different/crazy schedule. The bed was comfortable; room clean and quiet. Thanks again for providing the fan to create white noise to assist with my sleeping. Definitely would stay again!!

I enjoyed my stay in Linda's lovely home. The bedroom and bathroom (en suite) were very comfortable and very clean. Linda is a very gracious host and was excellent at responding to messages and coordinating my arrival. I sincerely enjoyed my stay and hope to stay at Linda's again on my next visit to South Bend!

This is a lovely place to stay. My girlfriend and I went up there for a football game and they made the stay very easy. We were able to arrive early, and were even dropped off by the football stadium. The home was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Linda was a wonderful and flexible host. She worked with me on the late check in time. I did not personally stay here, as I booked this for family members, but they came back singing praises for how comfortable and fantastic their stay was.
