The Outlier Inn is a bucolic 12-acre property in New York state’s southern Catskill mountains, 90 miles from NYC. The Inn offers a peaceful and inspiring respite from life in the Big City. It is a retreat center, an event/workshop/location space, a fiber and vegetable farm, and a world-class recording studio. Please visit our website to view our Local Guide.
The dome is an incredible "Glamping" space and guests are required to BYOBed. Bring air mattresses, camping air pads, sleeping bags, pillows and towels. There is a wooden floor in the dome and screen windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. For an extra fee the Dome can be used for workshop space, shoots, rehearsal space, or sleep over parties :) For guests who stay in the dome, there are outdoor double hot showers, a sink, and a claw foot bathtub. Also, a complete outdoor kitchen and grill, fridge, sink, and big fire pit are available for your use. We are located on a farm in beautiful Sullivan County, close to Bethel Woods, the Catskill Park, Neversink Unique Area and Sam's Point. There are many animals on the farm. Merino sheep, angora goats, alpacas, oberhasli dairy goats, chickens (running free so please leash dogs!), two cats and a dog named Beulah. We have a greenhouse and vegetable garden, a pond for doggies to go swimming, and a lake across the street. There is a full-service recording studio on the premises as well as a fiber arts workshop space. The wool from our alpacas is shorn and hand-spun into winter accessories. In June, a vintage clothing store is opening on the property. Check out is no later than noon on Sunday as there is a weekly yoga class at 12:30. It is donation based and anyone may join. Bring a mat!
Sullivan County was the site of hundreds of Borscht Belt hotels and resorts, which had their heyday from the 1920s through the 1970s. When air travel became more attainable, the area's tourist industry declined and left many camps and resorts vacant. Recently, many artists and small farmers have moved into the area and are working to bring it back culturally and economically. The county is extremely diverse with a mixed population that is similar to that of the South Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. The natural offerings given by this area are prized by residents. There are hikes that will lead you to rivers, waterfalls and look-out points. Lakes are everywhere and offer great fresh water swimming. The Basha Kill wetland is the largest wetland (over 3,000 acres) in southeastern New York and is home to a diverse population of wildlife and plants. Many beautiful and sustainable farms are close-by and welcome visitors. Information can be found in the guidebook.
  • I rented the Dome for my birthday weekend celebration in mid November. As someone who has never camped before, I didn’t account for how cold the weather would be in November. As my birthday weekend approached, we learned that there would be an artic blast blowing through that very weekend. I messaged Josh a couple days before to see if the Dome would be able to accommodate the additional space heaters we wanted to bring to help combat the cold; not only did Josh reassure me the Dome would be able to accommodate the additional space heaters, he even surprised me by offering us one of his bungalows to stay in as well in case it was too cold in the Dome! It was super sweet and thoughtful of him to offer. We did end up spending most of our weekend in the Bungalow as it was indeed very cold outside. My friends ended up using the Dome to hold a surprise birthday event. Hands down my best birthday to date and it was all made possible thanks to this amazing Airbnb space Josh has created!

  • Joshua was such a wonderful host! The property alone is incredible with an amazing laid back vibe. The place is full of cute decorations, it's the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature and relax. The dome was such a cool experience to stay in for a few nights. It does get a bit chilly inside so bring extra blankets although he does provide some as well. Looking forward to staying again one day!

  • Joshua has created such a magical place, we were really blown away. My friends and I stayed in the geodesic dome for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was such a memorable experience, and Joshua's hospitality really contributed to that. I would recommend everyone find a reason to visit as soon as possible, it's quite a find :)

    Haley2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool place to stay! Plenty of space for large group and the property is lovely. Great experience would definitely stay again!

  • Josh was such a great host! Fast replies, wonderful area, incredible bonfire with so much land! Everything was perfect! Strongly recommended for glamping!

  • Joshua was an amazing host and the property was SO SPECIAL. I, along with group of 30+ friends and family stayed at Joshua’s place for my 30th birthday and it was a life changing experience for most! The property has so much to offer and is truly glamping at its best. We cooked together in the outside kitchen, incorporated greens from the garden into our meals, enjoyed the spring fed swimming hole, made s’mores over the fire pit and fell in love with the cedar hot tub under the stars! I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend in nature. There are just so many gems and surprises on the property including a shop in the barn with the most beautiful clothing made from the alpaca wool, the cutest animals who became our friends, and even two gorgeous recording studios!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Regina2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Truly a unique and unforgettable experience, Josh has created something quite exceptional there.

  • My family and I had a great weekend! The three of us stayed in the Geodome, which was an incredible experience, but all of the properties are so charming and definitely worth checking out in the future. Josh was incredibly hospitable and our 4yo son fell “in love” with him – thanks for letting him feed the animals, Josh! Overall, the Outlier Inn is definitely worth the experience.

  • Loved our stay at the Outlier Inn! The Spartenette is super clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained. The property is very nicely and thoughtfully set up with an outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and more. Highly recommend to anyone seeking an escape from the city and would definitely come again!

  • The second time at this magical spot and just as amazed as the first. This time around we stayed in the RV that is in such great shape! It’s wood interior is such a beautiful mid century modern design. It very nicely decorated and actually offers so much space! The property alrtogther was beautiful this time of year. And full of nice and open people. Defnailty a great place to escape the city or get together with some friends ! We will be back.

  • Amazing property with lots to explore on the farm and in the surrounding area. Lots of amenities provided, very clean and comfortable lodging. Josh is very nice and helpful. Would come back for sure.

  • My friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Joshua was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. We stayed in the 1950s trailer. It was charming, spacious and super clean. The property is stunning. There are plenty of spaces to relax and read and explore. Have already recommended to everyone I know !

  • We had a great stay in the restored Spartan trailer. It was cozy and the weather was cool during our stay in these late August nights. The only drawback was the mosquitoes, but as long as you remember bug spray you should be alright. This space is most definitely a communal one, but each place is far enough apart to allow enough privacy for you and your guests !

    Alezendria2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second year coming here. We love the uniqueness of the space, and the wonderful amenities.

The nearest full-sized grocery store, drug store, and restaurants are 15 minutes away in the city of Liberty. Plenty of birds, including several bald eagle sighting, families of beavers, ducks, geese, squirrels, chipmunks, and deer! Both the Neversink Reservoir and the Roundout Reservoir are about 3 miles away where you can fish and even kayak. There’s plenty of fly-fishing on the Willowemoc and Beaverkill Rivers. In the winter, ski at Hunter Mountain or Mohonk Mountain, both are an hour away. Attend concerts in Bethel Woods, the original site of the Woodstock festival! Play your luck at the nearby Monticello Raceway and Casino and the new Resorts World Casino, around 20-25 minutes away.
  • Fantastic stay!!

  • The serenity and silence of the area around the home is beautiful. Patrick’s place is both quaint and homey. Lots of board games, darts, and books for entertainment. The view of the lake matched with the mini waterfall that can be heard inside one of the bedrooms was amazing. I would love to come back again in the Summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Overall an awesome place to stay.

    Keith2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my little getaway. The place is perfect and local to many hiking trails. The view of the lake was very relaxing. And the heat worked great when the temps were in the low teens.

  • Wonderful area by the lake. Great host also. Good entertainment choices, books, and games.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at this Lakeside cottage . It was very comfortable, Patrick was very quick with responses. And it was a nice quiet area for relaxation. Although it is right off of a country road there are very few cars passing by. I’m looking forward to visiting again during the warmer weather and making more use of the outside amenities.

  • This is a great spot. We enjoyed watching the lake partially freeze and thaw. The heat was great, and the bed super comfortable. Especially loved the sounds of the waterfall creek outside the bedroom window. The kitchen worked well for us, too. Overall the place is cozy and quaint and a great value. Patrick was super fast to respond to any questions.

Behind the Catskill Brewery on an open field you’ll find two cottages, formerly the residence of the brewmaster, now made available for rental. While the main house is perfect for families, group getaways, and those that appreciate having enough room to swing a keg, the Microbrew Cabin is your cozy cabin that's perfect for a one single person or a couple.
You enter the cabin through the front door that sits on a wooden deck. This is the spot where you will most likely spend hours sipping on your morning coffee as well as enjoying a cold Catskill Brewery beer watching the sunset after a day of adventures. From here you step straight into the livingroom that makes you feel like you are deep in the woods. The wood cladded walls creates a warm atmosphere where you can feel like home. The livingroom connects with the kitchen where the minimalistic and clean design makes you wonder if the catskill is actually located in Scandinavia but the local supplies sitting on the shelves will bring you back home again. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed made with high quality flannel bedding from Lexington Company. The newly renovated bathroom connects to both the livingroom and bedroom and has all the amenities you need for your nature retreat. The Cabin has a new full kitchen filled with essentials for the simple life. Cooking stove, small fridge and freezer and a spacious apron sink. The shelves and cupboards has well selected glassware, service ware, cutlery and tools for cooking as well as baking. When furnishing the cabin we got really excited about all the beautiful enamel ware we found in antique shops and thrift stores - there's nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee in an enamel cup on a deck over looking the mountains. Oh and we stock great coffee for you at the cabin! We also have the essentials such as local honey from the Catskills, oats, tea, olive oil, salt & pepper etc. Anything else you need through your stay you can find either in the local markets just a 2 min drive from the cabin or on select farms around the area. After a long day exploring everything from a hiking to a secret waterfall, a local smoked trout sandwich, alpaca petting and tasting all the different types of beer that the Catskill Brewery offer its time to sleep. We have done everything we can to create a comfortable space for you. Change into the comfortable robes that's yours for the stay and feel like home. The dark flannel bedding helps you sleep long nights and the walk in shower will wake you up in the morning and get ready for new adventures.
  • Very cute and cozy. Great nearby breweries and restaurants. Roscoe and Callicoon are worth the drive if you have a car and want to venture out. The locals were very welcoming. We can’t wait to go back!

    Brittany2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The microcabin is perfect for couples! It's secluded but also a quick walk from Catskill Brewing and town. Nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable.

    Ryan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time in the cabin & Livingston Manor as a whole. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. The cabin has all the basics you could need and it’s a short walk to the main area of town. The flannel sheets & cozy robes were a nice touch also. We would stay here again for sure.

    Vanessa2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Microbrew cabin was the absolute best weekend getaway for my wife and I. It is the coziest cutest cabin with incredible detail and decor. The location to the town could not be any better and if you’re a beer lover all you have to do is walk down the driveway to the amazing brewery. You are fairly close to the other Airbnb but it does not feel like it one bit when you’re in the cabin. You’re in a secluded little nook that feels very private. Definitely would go back!

    Kacey2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy and quaint cabin perfect for a quick getaway. It's close to several great food and beverage options. Definitely would stay here again

    Sherri2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The microbrew cabin is just as described. Steps away from the Catskill Brewery (which is bar far my favorite now) and minutes to town. The cabin was bigger then I expected with stylish details and super comfortable for two people. Anna was very quick to respond with any questions we had and the check in was so easy. I would love to come back and stay again and highly recommend for a weekend escape.

    Kacy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I spent our early Valentine’s celebration at the microbrew cabin , the space was perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin is very cozy, well decorated, and conveniently located with enough privacy from surrounding homes/road while also being very close to Livingston Manor’s Main Street. Tom and Anna provided us with many recommendations for food, grocery, and activities- all of which we took advantage of during our trip. We enjoyed being walking distance from the brewery and just a short drive from many hiking spots in the area. If you get a chance, you should also check out Roscoe, NY which is a short drive down the highway. Thanks for hosting a wonderful trip!

This charming, private guest house used to be the Rolling River Café, converted into a cozy space with a pellet stove, a queen bed upstairs and a futon downstairs. Perfect for 1 to 4 guests, such as 2 couples, 3 friends, or a family of 3 or 4. It is private - no sharing with any other guests. It has an open floor plan on both floors.
Our comfortable guest house is a real treat! Both upstairs and down have an open floor plan. There are no bedroom doors. We have thick, opaque surround curtains around the queen bed upstairs that block all view. Located in the beautiful Catskills along a year-round river, 1 1/2 hours drive from New York City. Come and stay in a lovely historic house by the river and enjoy the nature and amenities. It is fully equipped for a nice vacation with lots to do in the area. Whether you are 1 guest or more you get the whole house to yourself - you won't share with unknown guests. This space was the Rolling River Café for 10 years. We are moving our kitchen to the Upward Brewing Company in Livingston Manor, so we converted the restaurant into a guest house, with a cool commercial kitchen, funky and fun! We have a queen bed upstairs and a futon downstairs, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably, with a half bath downstairs, & bath with shower upstairs. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a movie screen on both floors to watch a lot of DVDs which are supplied, and wifi (no cable TV). A nice pellet stove in the living room keeps the place warm in winter. In the mornings, enjoy a continental breakfast supplied for you with coffees, teas, cereals, milk & juices. In the summer outside we have a charcoal grill and picnic table for a riverside barbecue. We have air conditioning. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. If you want to check in before then, please just let us know. Check out time is 11:00 am. If requested, later may be possible. There are many activities for a perfect vacation. We have a nice 1.5 mile walk on a Rail Trail in Parksville, a live music venue just 2 city blocks away on Main Street called Cabernet Frank's. In a 5 minute drive on Route 17 west is Livingston Manor, with the Catskill Brewery and great shopping, and the Catskills Art Society - a renowned art gallery. We are 20 minutes from Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center. We are 10 minutes from Monticello Casino and Raceway and 15 minutes from Resorts World Casino. We are close to the Willowemoc River for the best trout fishing ever. Close by is an educational New York State trout hatchery, Hunter Lake for motorboating, for camping and swimming Mongaup Pond State Park and Neversink Reservoir for rowboating and fishing. Other things to do in the area are horseback riding at Bridle Hill Farm or Sonoma Falls where there is also a cider mill & country store, hiking, camping, antiquing, yoga classes at Just Breathe Yoga, visiting art galleries such as Catskill Art Society and Liberty Art Museum. In wintertime cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. Holiday Mountain is a small family mountain 15 minutes away. Belleayre and Plattekill are 1 hour away for nice downhill skiing. These other places you shouldn't miss: wineries BashaKill and Eminence Road Farm, shops in Livingston Manor: Morgan Outdoors, Willow & Brown, Main Street Farm, Brandenburg Bakery, Catskill Brewery and The Delightful Place. In Roscoe take a tour through the Prohibition Distillery. Enjoy the lovely rural surroundings. We are your hosts, so please ask us anything and we will be pleased to make you comfortable during your stay.
Our neighborhood is the little hamlet of Parksville. This hamlet was thriving when the O & W Railroad ran through it, but had an economic downturn since then. But there is now a music venue called Cabernet Frank's, and there will soon be a coffee roaster and an antiques auction house on Main Street. It looks a little like a ghost town, but is very walkable and fun to see the historical corner pharmacy where Steven King filmed a scene for his HBO movie "Bag of Bones," and there is a serene 1.5 mile Rail Trail along the river. Not a long drive west from Parksville is lovely Livingston Manor with interesting shops, a bakery, a brewery, a local grocery store, and a beautiful school on the river that runs through. And 5 miles distance are all amenities like grocery, hardware, bank, liquor store, tailor, pet supplies, etc.
  • Kim's place is very cute and perfect for a weekend getaway from the city, you will love it!

    Bryce2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Need a getaway from NYC? Want a place with lots of charm? Yet cozy? Commercial kitchen? This is it! My husband and I spent our weekend here. We made food, a loaf of bread, walked around the nearby town, watch a couple of movies and generally just chilled out. Us city people got creeped out by sounds that the house made in the first night, but cheers! Would come back for warmer weather!

    Sunny2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was magical- exactly as described, immaculately clean with a pellet stove that was perfect for a 16 degree night and a big, soft warm bed. Kim was responsive to all my questions (I had no idea how the pellet stove worked) and there was plenty of privacy. The kitchen looked amazing too (former cafe and restaurant), but I was only there for a night and didn't get a chance to try it. The town is pretty enigmatic too- several abandoned businesses and houses when you first get into town.

    Maggie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place is extremely unique and cozy. The pellet stove kept us warm on the cold February nights. The restaurant style kitchen was very fun to cook meals in. The upstairs queen size bed was also very comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure. Overall we had a wonderful stay :)

    Alex2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I think this place make a great for a couple. We loved the sounds of the river and the quite ! Ofcourse also the amazing kitchen amenities ! It’s got its own charm we loved it and Kim was great! Cabernet franks was awesome! Great food. Thank you so much for everything

  • Cozy eclectic and warm. Perfectly relaxing. Peaceful. Loved the sound of the river.

  • A great house to stay in with lots of fantastic little touches here in there to make it extra special. The kitchen is fantastic; the atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and productive. Be sure to take advantage of being able to play music in the whole house, the Parksville Rail Trail nearby, and the breweries up in Livingston Manor (about a 10 minute drive).

Cozy cottage nestled in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains. Lake right for Canoeing and fishing in Lake Paradise. Light a fire on the back porch and enjoy a glass of wine. Cook a three course meal in our chef driven kitchen of better yet just sit back and let nature take you away.
It's a beautiful place to escape the chaos and sit and relax in the wilderness. Cozy up to the fire or sip on some wine.
  • Daniels place is cozy and a perfect place to escape to. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating meals at the big table. Shower was hot and beds were comfy! We loved the pellet stove and the firepit. Would stay again!

    Katherine2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Charming, quiet, and Catskilly. Nice touch everywhere, but the star of the show was the pellet “stove” aka fireplace in the living room. Daniel was super responsive and helpful. We just stayed in for a cozy Valentine’s Day weekend, but it would also be great for hikes or setting up basecamp for skiing. Def would stay again.

    Virgil2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I love the house

    Angel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time here! Well decorated and cozy, and the kitchen is ideal for prepping big meals together. A few tips for future guests: You'll need to light a pellet stove for heat. It's not too difficult to use, just something you'll need to mind. Some GPS systems point you to the wrong house! Just look out for the house number.

    Jonathan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, would go back for sure.

    Angélique2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, back-in-time, all-wooden respite from the city, with wonderful modern touches and amenities (The pilot stove was the cherry on top of our upstate trip with out-of-towners). Daniel also saved the day with his local tips and must-do’s in the area, making our jobs showing family around so much easier. Loved all the reading material and thoughtful decor around the house as well. The big kitchen table is perfect for family dinners and game nights.

    Alexandre2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel was very helpful during our planning process for the trip! I would come back every year if I could

  • Alan is an amazing host that went above and beyond to service us. From the moment you walk through the door you know you’re walking into something special as evident by the care and cleanliness put into the house. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from reality.

  • My time at Alan’s was just what I was looking for—a very quiet opportunity to hike some trails and explore nature in peace. Alan’s place is quiet and clean and quite large. The proximity to the lake is great too. Alan was a great host!

    Brendan2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, perfect for a weekend getaway. Friendly neighborhood and Alan’s house has all the right amenities in case you forget something at home! The area was beautiful and the house was clean. There were some nice board games and magazines out for us, and it was a wondering way to get away from the bustling city. On top of that, the host was responsive and very helpful in making the experience comfortable and easy for us.

  • My family and I just spent the weekend at Alan’s place , the 6 of us plus 2 small dogs were very cozy, in this super clean and stylish house. The house was perfect for our little getaway which was conveniently located close to restaurants and about 15 min away from kartrite indoor Waterpark and resorts world casino. The house Exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, stocked with goodies , and all the necessities we literally wouldn’t of have to bring much. The house even included a bunch of fun toys and activities for our 2 year old daughter. Super safe environment for those also with small children. We are definitely looking forward to another visit very soon during the warmer months to also enjoy the lake, and more outdoor activities. Thanks again to Alan for opening up his home to us. Sincerely , Jason and family.

    Jason2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house is a part of a small community located adjacent to a private lake (~200 feet away). Alan was incredibly responsive and thoughtful even when I was only preparing for our trip upstate. When we got there in the evening, he had already warmed up the place and turned on the lights to prepare for our late arrival. The place was stylish, clean yet warm and cozy. I have three kids with me, and they instantly changed into their PJs, except when they wanted to play on the frozen lake. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and drier were there, as well as a key to a boat, and life preservers. I can't wait to visit again in the summer. It's located 7 min from Adventure land, 40 min from Kartrite indoor swimming park, Holiday ski resort, and all sorts of trails and rivers for fishing. AMC movie theatre was also nearby, when the kids felt too tired to play outside. All in all, the house and its host made it a memorable weekend for the entire family and my daughter's friend. Definitely going back!

  • A very cozy and well furnished place to escape the noise and chaos of the city. I had a really great time and that king size bed was super comfy.

  • My partner and two dogs were seeking a quiet, relaxing getaway from the city, and this property helped us achieve that objective! This home is super clean, cozy, and has everything that you need. Great stay.

  • Such a cute cottage! My wife and I loved our quick trip away from NYC. Alan’s cottage was quiet, cozy, and perfect for us. Our dog loved the snow. Alan has a book of local restaurants and places to go. It was a much needed and very enjoyable trip for us.

My wife McKinley and I recently bought and gut renovated this cozy 3 bedroom house in our favorite area of the Catskills. The house has two full bathrooms, a massive master bedroom with a king bed, a huge bedroom with two double beds perfect for kids and a well lit and comfortable downstairs third bedroom. We love this house and hope to share it with other families and nature lovers.
The house is located near Livingston Manor, a charming small town with a few good restaurants and shops. We’re about a mile from a wonderful swimming hole and a well stocked general store.
  • We had a lovely time! It was so nice to hear the little stream burbling. The kitchen is excellent, and the fireplace made the house super cozy.

    Helena2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Adam and McKinley's home has everything you need for a perfect get away with a small group. We stayed here with our 10 month old baby during a snowy weekend in January. The house is spacious and clean with many cozy places to lounge and relax, and nice touches that really make it feel like a home that is lived in and well loved. It has a wood burning stove that kept the house toasty and warm despite the single digit temperature outside. The kitchen is fully stocked and functional, and there is a BBQ grill on the patio right outside. The house gets great natural light and has many windows so you can really appreciate that you are surrounded by trees and nature. We loved the sound of the creek flowing right by the house, the outdoor fire pit at night, and the field in the back where you can get a sense of space and appreciate the open sky. We really had a special time with our family here and would highly recommend staying here. Adam is very responsive by text and we really appreciated his hospitality.

    Janelle2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful home and the perfect place to unwind. The fire pit by the stream, cozy couch by the fire, proximity to great hiking and large field for the pups to run around made for an awesome week in the Catskills! The beds were like clouds and towels soft and fluffy. Adam is a tremendous host!! Quick to respond with suggestions for hiking and great restaurants. Thank you for a great week!!

  • Adam's place was amazing- it was full of nice details, and the space was so nicely decorated and thoughtful. The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed great meals and great views! Our family loved the surrounding nature, and had so much fun!

    Lucrecia2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend at this cozy upstate getaway. The wood stove and fire pit were a hit. Adam was very helpful and offered tips for what to do in the area. We will be back!

  • Such an incredible and memorable stay at Michelle and her parents' property. They really do everything possible to out-do themselves in showing their hospitality to their guests. Everything was as described and the communication was constant. Their property is so unique in many ways, I would definitely recommend to anyone willing to try this type of getaway. We would love to come back, and see us doing so, in the years to come!

  • Our little family had a great experience and time at Hemlock Falls. Communication with Michelle was effortless, both Kim and Rob were so warm and welcoming. Both my husband and I commend all of the hard work that has been invested into Hemlock Falls. It’s truly a hidden gem. As an hotelier, I truly can appreciated your vision and all of the small details that has been invested to the property. I wish you much success, we look forward to return and spread the word.

    Melissa2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The whole property and campsites are very beautiful, especially the river and Hemlock Falls. Michelle and her parents checked-in with us multiple times before and during our stay to help with bags, give an introduction to the space, provide firewood, and give a small tour with paper guide of the property. The tent bed is very comfortable and luxurious with a mosquito net. Highly recommended!

This charming Aframe is tucked into the Catskill mountains, with spectacular seasonal views of the Rondout Reservoir. This house has a cozy feel with rustic charm and is the perfect getaway for those wishing to escape to nature. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy numerous local hiking trails and we're just 25 minutes from popular areas such as Mohonk Preserve, Sams Point, Minnewaska. A hobby farm on-site, animal lovers can visit with our goats, sheep, chickens, apiary and of course, local wildlife!
    * We are following CDC and Airbnb recommendations for cleaning and sanitizing the entire space in between guests to ensure the utmost safety and ease of mind. Please ask if you have any concerns at all. I am a host with over 30 years of career experience in the healthcare field - I understand the importance of infection control and personally guarantee our dedication to your health and safety during this troubling time! * New additions Nov 2019: new mattresses, new pots and pans, new WiFi booster, newly renovated bathroom There's nothing with more rustic charm than an Aframe (at least we think so!) And we certainly pack in a lot of charm to this perfect 600 square foot chalet. The Aframe is all yours - it is not a shared space. It has its own private entrance, and has a "transition room", which separates the Aframe from the main house. The Aframe is a completely private guest wing attached to the main house, with a living room, eat-in kitchen, and a loft with two full-sized beds. The bedroom comfortably sleeps two - four and a full sized pull out couch in the living room can sleep up to two more. The loft beds are cozy, and you wake up with a spectacular view out the front window. (Please note that the loft is a semi-private sleeping space with beds on either end of same loft space, with curtain divider) Beds have all new pillows and sheets with one feather mattress topper and one foam mattress topper for extra comfort. There are so many details to mention...the wood-burning stove, wraparound deck, original wide-plank wood floors, slate tilework in bathroom, and skylights in loft, kitchen and bathroom. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Numerous countless hiking trails within minutes and Catskill Preserve trailheads just a short drive away. You can get to the infamous Blue Hole, among other local watering holes in the summer for a quick dip on a hot summer day. Also a short drive to the beautiful Mohonk and Minnewaska Preserve. You're a 10 minute drive into town for groceries, restaurants and local theater (Shadowland Theatre). We are animal lovers through and through and so if you enjoy nature but ALSO enjoy animals, this is the place for you! We have three rescue goats and a sheep (we'd love to tell you their story - so please ask!) as well as chickens (also rescues). We would love to have you meet them, hang out, give them treats if you'd like. Grain is provided. If you wouldn't like to (it's OK - we get it. Goats aren't for everyone) they are on the far end of the property, so they will not affect your stay. There is also an apiary on-site that you can visit and learn about beekeeping. You are guaranteed to see a variety of other wildlife (friends call me "Snow White") such as deer, rabbits, chipmunks, hawks, eagles, owls, woodpeckers and the occasional bear. Don't get me started on the birds! So many to see and we have dozens and dozens of yellow finch and hummingbirds in the summer! The wraparound deck with seasonal water views is great for lounging (during warmer months - we put furniture away in the winter) and outdoor meals. We love the area and we hope you do too!
We are about 90 minutes from both NYC and Albany and 35 minutes west of New Paltz. The house is on an 8 acre parcel that is surrounded on three sides by preserved land. You can easily hike the property and there are hiking trails just minutes away that lead to beautiful waterfalls and swimming spots. The views and access to the reservoir are a real perk and there is an eagle nesting ground just a few miles away where you are almost guaranteed to see a bald eagle or two, In the spring, you can watch the newly hatched eagles poke their heads out. It's amazing!
  • Our stay at The Frederick Farm Goat Rescue was magnificent. It’s tremendously comfy, convenient to beautiful hiking, and conducive with hanging out. The towels are soft and the value’s hard to beat; the goats/chickens/pups are adorable, and the dog friendliness is authentic. Nice people, cute place!

  • Meagan is an airbnb host that goes above and beyond. She was available to answer any questions we had, and made us feel immediately welcome. We highly recommend staying in her beautiful and quaint A-Frame— it’s the perfect weekend getaway. It’s cozy but there’s plenty of space, and dog friendly, which was a huge plus for us! We were able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen, enjoying sitting on the deck with our morning coffee and were invited by Meagan to join her Goat hang and hike airbnb experience which was so much fun. No doubt we will try to come back as soon as possible, and we will be telling our friends about this gem!

    Erika2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely view of the reservoir during the winter. Warm and well designed Aframe. A great communal outdoor space. A few neighboring cabins, make for a family safe cabin experience. The Aframe connects to a neighboring home/cabin, which adds to the safety, while remaining private. we didn’t hear anything but our own voices during the whole stay. Wife requested to visit again! :)

    Joshua2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place near the water, a perfect getaway destination. Meagan was an amazing host, quick to respond, help with local tips and even took us on a hike with the animals. The place is sparkling clean, kid friendly and very quiet. We’d definitely stay here again.

    Pavel2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

  • I cannot stress enough all couples and families looking for a private, secluded yet majestic country to escape away to, And tons of indoor and outdoor activities within the rental and property. Didn't have to leave the entire weekend what a dream!! Cannot thank you enough for supplying us with everything we needed and sharing your beautiful rental, home and even your family with us making it a very magical, personal family oriented experience, will be returning annually to enjoy the natural beauty of your mountain escape and your amazing hospitality. Thanks so much again Warren and Megan, you truly went above and beyond, were so grateful!!!

    Natasha2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I spent a cold and rainy weekend at Meagan’s place to relax and get away from city life., and it was perfect. The view from the living room was just as good as being outside.

    Gionna2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Pulling up to the A frame, I knew I had made the right choice for a quiet weekend getaway. The loudest noise was the wind in the trees and the rush of the stream that runs through the property. The cabin smells pleasantly like old wood and wood smoke. It's like staying in a family's small, well-loved and well-tended cabin in the woods, which is exactly what it is, albeit attached to a grand farmhouse! As an animal lover, I was so charmed by the chicken and goat friends I was able to make during my stay. As a cook, I was delighted by the well appointed kitchen, with mixing bowls, several pots and pans, cutting board, colander, grater, just about everything I needed. Don't expect a sterile, untouched environment. The floors are nicely worn, the couch and chairs soft and well loved, video entertainment options include some truly great VHS gems (Indiana Jones trilogy! Star Wars! Muppet Show!), and in general the place feels delightfully lived-in and warm. I like to try out different places for my weekend getaways from the city, but this is one place I will probably keep returning to!

A simple cottage in a magical location next to the Fir Brook was reimagined in 2019 with all modern conveniences. The minimalist, comfortable design takes full advantage of the natural surroundings - and the home is a 10-minute drive alongside the winding Willowemoc Creek to The DeBruce for world-class local cuisine and the adorable small town of Livingston Manor is a 20-minute drive. Pet-friendly! NOTE: Please only book in winter if you have a car that can handle mountain snow :)
The master bedroom is set up for serious lounging with a Tuft & Needle king-sized mattress and massive windows, giving you a sense of being surrounded by trees and with a direct view of the brook. The second bedroom is cozier, but you can still hear the water with the window open and the queen-sized Tuft & Needle mattress is equally comfortable. The main living space is open and the kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop (but no oven), dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, milk heather/frother, and all the utensils and pots & pans you could need. There's also a Weber propane grill, a firepit, a dining table, and Adirondack chairs outside, should you decide to cook and dine a bit closer to nature. The Jotul propane stove is on a thermostat and remote control, so you can enjoy a fire inside whenever you want... The bathroom has a generous walk-in shower and space to store your items, as well as a washer/dryer. ***We love to welcome well-behaved dogs, but do ask for an additional $50 fee per pet per stay to help us with additional cleaning and wear and tear - and, of course, would hope you would pick up after your dog as you would at home!***
Willowemoc is a beautiful hamlet that's surrounded by state land, gentle mountains, and various creeks and brooks. The birthplace of fly-fishing in the US was here and on the nearby Beaverkill River - and the Fir Brook outside the house is also stocked with fish (you do need to secure a permit for any fishing). There are plenty of outdoor activities and great trails and roads to run, hike, and bike, but this is an equally appealing destination for people who like to hang out and cook at home with an occasional trip to explore the shops and restaurants in nearby towns like Livingston Manor and Roscoe - or ones that are within an hour's (beautiful country!) drive like Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Kerhonkson, Accord, Phoenicia, and Woodstock.
  • The cabin was great and we felt like we were living in nature which is what we wanted. The huge picture windows and having the stream a few feet away were magical. Appreciated the thoughtful touches and design. Very fast responses as well.

  • Loved everything about this place, the master bedroom has one of the best views you’ll ever find. This home is clean, stylish and a perfect gateway from the city. We loved eating at Main St Farms in Livingston Manor with our dog! They allow dogs of every size inside and it’s just a special market / cafe. The wine shop adjacent has an amazing selection as well. We look forward to come back!

  • We had such an amazing stay in Megans and Robert’s place! One of the most beautiful places in the Catskills, highly recommend!!

    Neomi2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of four. It was simply and thoughtfully decorated, with all the basics and more. We were able to cook delicious meals with the kitchen setup, slept well in the comfortable beds, and embraced all the natural light from the giant windows overlooking the peaceful creek just outside. Our favorite part was the little propane stove that kept us so cozy despite the snow and chill outside. Super easy check in and check out, plowed roads for beautiful morning runs. Would definitely stay again!

    Stephanie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Megan and Robert’s place. The cabin was spotless with a lot of great amenities. Communication was amazing, and even though it was below freezing outside the whole time we were there the house was warm and cozy.

    Nicole2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Megan and Roberts’ place was spotless, and breathtaking. My husband and i enjoyed the sounds of the creek at night, and the beautiful scenery surrounding the house. We really enjoyed cuddling up by the fire as it snowed outside.

  • Modern Cabin for those seeking relaxation, nature, and a well curated space. This is a top quality Air B experience. We stayed for 3 nights (two couples)- the home was sparkling clean, easy to find and idyllic. It was perfect! We’ll be booking their other Cabin 8 for another Catskills getaway.

Open through winter! A beautiful and rustic mid-century home located on 12 private acres with a creek that you can hear at all times running in the gorge out back. Inside you will feel as if you are in a tree house. The most you may hear at night is an owl hooting in the woods. This is the place to get away from it all! By booking a stay at the house you will be agreeing to the liability waiver at the end of the description here under "Other things to note." Click "Read more about the space."
Apple Creek is open through the winter! You will experience a true mid-century modern house built at the end of the 60's tucked into the middle of the woods. A designers touch sits comfortably along side a warm, rustic cabin feel . From within the house you will have the experience of being in a tree house as the back falls off into a deep gorge and the entire back of the house is windows. The sound of the creek can be heard from all around the property and inside the house during the summer with the windows open. We especially love eating meals on the screened in porch during the warmer months. You will most likely not see another human being that is not one of your guests. You may however see and hear some of the local wildlife. Just remember to be respectful of them and use common sense. Claryville is a small quiet hamlet, close to countless hiking trails, outdoor activities and the Frost Valley YMCA. Open during the warmer months down the road you will find the Blue Hill Cafe, Art Center and newly opened Russian Mule Brewery. There is even a wine shop if you happen to have left that bottle at home. We love taking day trips to the up and coming town of Livingston Manor to the west or Woodstock to the east. The area is the watershed for NYC and is surround by state land everywhere. In fact the creek that runs in the back of the house is headed to be the drinking water for the residents of Manhattan. The water for the house comes directly from a spring up the hill and is filtered from within the house for the some of the cleanest water you have ever tasted! When winter is upon us mid Nov - mid April we keep our private road plowed. However if you book a stay within these months it is best to travel in a capable vehicle with AWD or 4WD and exercise caution. The town roads remain plowed up to our private road. Masha and I are only ever a quick message away to help answer any question you may have to make your stay the best experience it can be!
Simply put you will feel like you are in your own private middle of nowhere tucked deep in the woods. However that is not entirely true as just a couple of miles away, during the warmer months, is the lovely Blue Hill Cafe and Lodge where you can grab a delicious home style meal, a bottle of wine. Out back there is the Art Center and the newly opened Russian Mule Brewery! Consider taking a short day trip to Livingston Manor (the next up and coming Catskill town)! If you are up for a small drive of 40 mins or so, you must check out the PeekaMoose Restaurant and Tap Room in Big Indian. A bit pricey but its a true farm to table treat for the taste buds and worth the drive! Hiking, hiking, hiking. Some of the best hiking around and an easy day hike, The Red Hill Fire Tower, is just down the road. Or you can just hang out at the house, be in the middle nature and watch movies at night
  • An incredible experience. Nestled amongst the vast, majestic hilltops of the Catskill Region, this wonderful home provides every modern convenience yet remains faithful to its intention of privacy and seclusion. Breathtaking. Highly recommend.

  • Drue’s space is a beautful home with large windows overlooking beautful Forrest and stream. We enjoyed the space to sit by the fire place honoring Mother Nature, yoga, meditation and playing with our 10month of baby. There are tons of out of this world places to eat that have you driving through magical landscapes. Look forward to returning again with our family.

    Stanley2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Drue’s place was a perfect winter weekend getaway. It was a short drive from NYC but felt like pure nature (and was close to good hiking). Looking out onto the snowy trees and stream behind the house made for a lovely calm environment. The projector and DVD selection was great and made for cozy nights by the fire. Kitchen is well-stocked and we had no problem making dinners. Would love to come back in the summer!

    Katie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We came to Apple Creek to celebrate our 5th Anniversary, we’ve traveled around and stayed at our fair share of Airbnb’s both domestic and abroad, and truly no host can compare to how responsive, kind, and helpful Drue and Masha we’re leading up to, and during our stay. Everything felt just right, from the fireplace in the living room, huge collection of vinyl records to play on an incredible surround sound system, and the truly pristine beauty of the Catskills in winter all around us. We will most definitely be returning, can’t wait to see the place in Summer!

    Vincent2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Drue’s place, so private and a relaxing break in nature. Definitely Recommend!

    Anthony2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool house! The space was very stylish. We also really enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped and spacious kitchen. The hosts were super communicative and friendly.

    Linn2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I needed a getaway from our responsibilities, and this was the perfect place for it. The house is off the beaten path with no cell service. This wasn’t a problem because it allows for you to disconnect from social media but still offers WiFi incase you need to check that Facebook message. The location is perfect for nature lovers. The inside is very unique and creative. My favorite decor were the paintings of the characters from The Breakfast Club, and all of the different assortment of lights around the house. The kitchen made cooking fun and relaxing, just as it should be. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We are hopping to rebook in the future, but this time bring our friends to be able to experience this as well.

    John2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay. My boyfriend and I stay at a lot of Airbnb’s (it’s our usual choice when going on vacation), but this one was so special! We rarely enjoy staying in an Airbnb all day, but we were content to cook, watch movies, read in front of the fire, and enjoy the scenery at Apple Creek!

  • The kindest and most helpful hosts, and an absolutely stunning space. Perfect for a weekend away- we'll definitely be back!

  • Our stay surpassed our high expectations based on the pictures and previous reviews. We are already looking into re-booking for the summer.

  • Christie and Brian were fantastic hosts. The house was well appointed and clean, and they were very helpful with providing recommendations and tips about the area. We would definitely come back!

    Allyson2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts, and a beautiful house to stay in! The property is great, with access to everything you could possibly need, clean and comfy beds, a full kitchen with tons of utensils, cookware, spices, condiments, local eggs, waffle maker and more! Awesome hot tub, fire pit and lounge area with a grill in the backyard and walking distance from a covered bridge and river really make this property worth exploring in its own right! The house also has a wood-burning oven in an unheated foyer which would be great for lounging in the cool fall/spring season, and a cozy interior with a Smart TV, Netlfix, Bluetooth soundbar and washer/dryer! Very new construction and stylish interior decor. Super clean and comfortable bedding in all the rooms (of which there are 4!). Brian was super nice, giving us the grand tour in the beginning and setting us up with a pre-made tinder box for making a fire in the yard. The hot tub was a fantastic thing to have after a long day snowboarding and hiking! The whole area is quite scenic, very comfortable and private and I would highly recommend staying here, any season! One of the better Airbnb experiences I've had!

    Matt2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend at Christie and Brian’s place — fantastic hosts, loved the hot tub, and the place is stocked with everything you’d want for a chill getaway: the s’mores were a great touch. Highly recommend!

    Hoss2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Christie and Brian were tremendous hosts! Brian was wonderful during check-in in showing us the features of the house and they both responded to our messages promptly. We visited during a snowy weekend in January, and the area could not have been more picturesque and the hot tub was incredible. We would love to visit again in the summertime as well!

    Kiran2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had such a blast! We loved the hot tub as well as fire pit and bbq. Was such a great weekend!!

    Meryl2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • My six girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our relaxing weekend away from the city at Christie and Brian's place. We were an hour late for check-in and it was no problem for them. Once we got there Brian showed us where everything was and we were basically left alone for the rest of the weekend. They had a wood setup for a fire in both the fire-pit and the wood stove when we arrived. They also provided everything you needed to make smores! The hot tub was also on and hot for us to use for the whole weekend. I hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the backyard more as it was large and on a river. We stayed in the house the whole weekend which was easy since the house has a great big open living room/kitchen/dinning area. They also seemed to have all the streaming services so we could watch anything we wanted. And the master bed was one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. I would 10/10 recommend this house to anyone.

In the remains of an ancient apple orchard next to the Neversink River sits a lovely modern house with mountain views and valley comforts. With a huge deck, patio with firepit, BBQ and tubes for the river, it has all you could need for a great country weekend!
The house has three bedrooms, one master king and two equipped with two twin beds that can put together as a king size, so sleeping arrangements can meet guests needs. The living area is open and bright, with a lovely modern kitchen and smart TV. The firepit is fantastic, there is plenty of room to roam outside, and the river to play in on hot days. We provide smores, tubes and towels for the river - everything you need for an amazing time!
A quiet retreat for nature lovers. Claryville is small, but offers amazing access to the outdoors - swimming, fishing, hiking, biking and stargazing.
  • Absolutely extraordinary stay. Is as advertised: amazing everything - serene & positive energy. Highly recommend!

  • Our stay at Brian and Christie’s was amazing! The house is clean, tidy, cozy and beautifully decorated — perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends. Brian and Christie were extra thoughtful and provided us with S’Mores ingredients as well as farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was great as well as the hike to the river which only took 20 minutes. They were super communicative from the start and always offered to help make our stay more comfortable with whatever we needed. Their check-out and check-in process was simple and easy. Would definitely recommend for a nice, cozy weekend away!

  • Great getaway spot! If you're looking to stay in a sparkling clean Ikea-esque showroom close to NYC - this is the place for you. Christie and Brian were amazing hosts, with quick, detailed communication and so much hospitality. It was snowy and a bit muddy (we obviously didn't check the weather) when we arrived and Brian graciously brought over extra jackets and snow boots to walk around outside with. He was so unobtrusive in checking the hot tub and collecting garbage and made our stay so pleasant. A perfect space for 6 and an overall excellent spot for a weekend getaway!

  • This place it definitely a place for some downtime and to just hangout with friends. I was with my fiancé and brother and his fiancé so being away from everything helped us connect and talk about things we wouldn’t normally talk about. A place to unplug and get closer to those who have drifted. Brian was a very relaxed and easy going guy right from the start. He was a wonderful care taker.

    Erica2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Best Airbnb in my 20+ stays over the years globally. Hosts are terrific. Very warm and accommodating. Live in a house on the grounds. House is pristine and modern without being sterile. Lot of character and cosy. Great modern amenities. Fully stocked kitchen with appliances and utilities. The MOST comfortable mattresses we have slept in (maybe ever??). Bright and airy with tons of windows. Excellent quiet and peaceful location in the mountains. Next to a lake and lot of woods. We went for a nice walk when it was snowing. Was the perfect long wkend getaway from NYC. I wouldn’t change a thing. Well maybe play with the hosts’ pup a bit more than we did. We will most definitely be back!!! :)

  • We stayed at Willow House Cottage with our two young children. Lovers of old homes and antiques will enjoy the thoughtful interior, which along with being beautiful perfectly suited our needs for the week. On the property we explored the koi pond, roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, made a salad from the garden, lunched under the vine-entwined veranda and hiked the trail that begins at the property’s edge. The beauty of this region in autumn cannot be overstated. Stunning! Activities we did within 30 minutes: Mountaindale Park (playground and swings) Hurds Family Farm (Fall festival) Catskill Mountain Railroad Minnewaska State Park Without traffic the city is about 90 minutes away — not bad! We went in for one day. Two fantastic restaurants on Main Street: High Voltage Cafe (ask about the wooded creekside area out back, complete with hammock and tables) Ba & Me, easily our best meal all week Paul was communicative and generous. We only met briefly but got a sense for his creativity and style through the property design, the beautiful old Volvo’s on the grounds and the unique artwork on the walls. Pack your rain boots, expect wildlife and enjoy the perfect Catskills getaway. We will be back!

  • Absolutely relaxing cute Villa to help completely decompress from our day-to-day rigor. Highly recommend Paul's home if you are looking to shutoff and enjoy the serene beauty of a lake (5minute walk away) or the woods in his backyard where you can safely get lost. Will be back for sure!

  • Paul and Helene are great hosts and were very helpful with local tips for activities and restaurants. They even lent us a photo book on the ruins of the former "Borscht Belt" hotels. It was just the relaxing get away we needed.

    Steffanie2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and Helen’s cottage is a little paradise. They proved extremely kind, warm and helpful. And both of them extremely learned and interesting people. We had great conversations !

    Michel2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and Helen were great hosts, great souls, very knowledgeable of the area and fun to talk with. It was the perfect getaway, total quiet, outdoor fires, local hikes and swimming holes. The property is so peaceful. 80's during the day and high 50"s at night. The local fruit and vegetables are amazing. The town restaurants are very good and Ellenville is 10 minutes away. We will be coming back in the fall.

    Wayne2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Paul’s place is a perfect place to escape to. We stayed for 2 weeks and we had an amazing time. The cottage is fully equipped and had plenty of space and privacy for a full family and was very clean. The garden was beautiful and we loved the accessibility to the lake and town. It is a quiet and quaint little town with a few lovely places to eat and shop at, but we also loved the ease to access to the Minnewaska state park, Ice caves, Ellenville, New Paltz, Woodstock and other surrounding towns for incredible climbing, hiking, biking, running, restaurants and shopping. Paul was responsive and very hospitable, offering local tips and assistance when needed, but leaving us alone on the couple of days our stay in the cottage over-lapped with him being in his house. We would definitely stay there again for a weekend or for weeks at a time.

    Laura2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Paul was a great host and his cottage is a fantastic place to have a stay in the Catskills for a few days! Very stylish with nice touches and a great kitchen. Paul is always available with any questions/issues that may arise. Definitely recommend! If you stay, be sure to get some Pho from Ba&Me in Mountaindale. It's fantastic!

    Matt2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Paul's cottage is so cozy, clean, and comfortable. We were in the Fall during a pretty bad storm, but we still had a beautiful, relaxing time surrounded by nature. We definitely plan on coming back during the summer to take advantage of the nearby trails and lake. Paul wasn't around, but he responded very quickly to our emails and arranged to have his very warm friend let us in and orient us to the cottage. There isn't too much in the immediate area, but there's a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant a five minute drive away that we ate at both nights we were there. And there's plenty of great hiking, restaurants, and other attractions within a 20-40 minute drive away. Thanks for a fantastic time, Paul!

  • Well, I just can't say enough about James and his cozy, wonderful flat in beautiful Livingston Manor. James is an absolute doll, and responded so fast to messages it made my head spin! The flat is lovely - well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, nice couch and easy chair. The town is gorgeous - definitely a weekenders paradise, it comes alive on Friday afternoons and stays hopping until Sunday evening. But, in my month there, I got to know some of the locals - salt of the earth! Peck's Market is literally 4 houses down the road, and it was a terrific market, with fresh baked breads and everything. Speaking of bread, don't miss Brandenburg Bakery (only open weekends) for some sweet treats, good bagels, really good breads, and one of the best croissants I have ever had - Paris included. Main Street Farm also makes their own bread for their super-yummy sandwiches, and you can eat overlooking the babbling Willowemoc river which runs right by. Oh, yes, there is a swimming hole in that river walking distance from the flat, with a tire swing and well-tended lawn area...gorgeous. I miss it already. Thanks, James!

  • James was an amazing host. He was kind and very helpful. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and just as the description states. It is close to shopping areas, had great parking access, and it’s in a beautiful and scenic area. The other tenants of the building are extremely friendly and helpful. I️ would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again.

  • James was such a wonderful and accommodating host, working with me on several changes to my stay. Communication prior to and during stay was always received and answered promptly. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet with many amenities within walking distance. I would most definately rest my head here again! Thanks again Jim!

    Valerie2016-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My stay in Jim's rental was from later July to early November and I can honestly say that Jim is a great host. I was assigned to work in the Catskill Region of New York State and needed a furnished place to stay with very a flexible lease, since I didn't know if I would need the place for a month or a year. A friend suggested Airbnb. I found Jim's rental available, went to look at it and signed a month to month lease that was very reasonable. I found Jim to be a very accommodating host and quick to respond to and/or correct issues or problems. If I needed something done, it was done. A few examples include a new bed, new windows, the installation of a garbage disposal, a new bathroom vanity and tub and toilet draining issues. All were corrected almost immediately. The apartment itself was a very nice one bedroom furnished. The furniture is very comfortable. Included in the rent was cable and internet, heat and electric. There is no A/C but I found it wasn't necessary; just open a window a put a fan on and you'll be quite comfortable. There is adequate parking on a quiet street within walking distance to a few small cafes and restaurants and a grocery store. The neighbors when I was there are quiet and friendly. If you are there for an extended period of time, the cleaning person is available for hire and she did a nice job. She would come every other week and included in her very reasonable fee was laundry. You can't beat that! If you need a place to stay, I highly recommend this rental. You won't be disappointed.

  • Alan is an amazing hosts and very hospitable. His unit was amazing and incredibly quaint and stylish

    Michaelo2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at Alana's place -- first was in May, 2019 -- and it was just as satisfying. So peaceful there -- we slept the way we never do in the city. And really nice touches and amenities throughout -- for instance, the huge, new bathroom. And Alan himself is just great -- responds quickly, warmly, accommodatingly. We hope to be back regularly.

  • Very nice place. Beautiful classy cabin feel. Nice rug, thermostat, comfortable. Would stay again for sure!

    Clay2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable place! We enjoyed our time at Allan’s and appreciated the space. In addition to the sleeping area, there was a small living/dining area and kitchen. We also enjoyed the short walk to the creek in his property. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

    Danielle2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful guest suite. It was a barn-like house and everything was new and clean. We didn’t get to stay that long but we really enjoyed it. Alan was very responsive and met us at the apt even if we got there so late. We didn’t really get to explore the area, but it looks like it would be a good area to do a hike

    Joanne2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Alan's apartment is a wonderful place to sneak away for the weekend. It is separate from the main house (which is amazing) so you have your privacy. The modern renovation mixed with the traditional furniture is very welcoming and comfortable. I really appreciated the accessible shower, even though i don't need it, it is very thoughtful. There is a nice little path that leads to a stream in the back, and the wildflowers around the property make a nice setting. Overall a great place to stay, and I hope to be back soon.

The cabin is a 2 room newly renovated house on our 20 acre property. Also on the property are 2 more houses. We have a small farm here. We keep pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens, bees and our 2 very affectionate outside cats. The cabin overlooks the family garden. We love to garden and fill the yard with many plants. We have a small stream on property and about 14 of the acres are woods. We often walk the woods to Mountain Dale which is about 1 mile away.
You have your own parking area. There is a fire pit in the front with a gas grill. There is a porch to sit on or if you like there is a table and chairs in front yard.
Mountain Dale is a rural town in which we are a mile from. They are an up and coming town with a Polish, Vietnamese and soon a sourdough pizza restaurant . They have a general store where you can get a cup of coffee. There is a laundromat, a bike shop where you can rent a bike . The Rails to Trails is a 2 mile walk from Mountain Dale to Woodridge. There are antique shops and a boutique.
  • This Airbnb was amazing!!!! The entire family was so sweet and helpful. This is a dream come true for a family with younger children. There are animals, a swing set, as well as several super sweet adorable kids that live there! My 3 year old had the best time. We will definitely be returning! Communication was excellent and the cabin was perfect.

  • Judy and Mike's farm cabin was absolutely lovely and the perfect getaway for the long weekend. The cabin was warm and cozy, the adorable animals on the property were so cute, and Judy and Mike were outstanding hosts. They offered great suggestions for things to do in the area and check in / check out were so easy. Looking forward to our next visit here.

  • Everything about the stay was easy and comfortable. The home is comfortable, sparkling clean, and well outfitted with nice treats, like local honey, milk, and eggs. It's a quiet, comfortable place, and interesting to see the garden and farm animals.

    Debbie2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a pleasure staying at Mike and Judy's place , loved everything. Specially enjoyed their farm and their cute cats who guarded us well :) , we also got small surprises with farm milk and eggs .Hope to visit again in the summer specially to see their veggie garden. The cabin is close to Ellenville if you are looking for good food and Minnewaska Lake for hike which Judy recommended too. We highly recommend to stay at Judy and Mike ' cute lil cabin.

    Yasmeen2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mike and Judy’s tiny house is very cozy and spotlessly clean. They provided eggs from their hens, coffee, milk, chocolates, and other amenities. I was welcomed warmly even though I showed up an hour earlier than I expected (my timing was off!) The children, cats, ducks and chickens were all sweet and entertaining.

    Barbara2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We both had a lovely time at Judy and Mike's farm! The cabin is very nicely put together and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay go smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful every time we had questions. We both hope to stay again sometime :)

  • Great value for a clean and quiet getaway

    Joseph2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really cozy, clean and comfortable cabin, with delicious farm eggs in the fridge and everything else you need. The two cats are lovely and Mike helped us a lot with some local suggestions.

End a perfect day by a wood-burning outdoor fireplace under an inky blue starry sky. This remote house in the woods is an ideal place for friends and family to disconnect from city life and reconnect with each other over good food and conversation.
Follow us on Instagram! @bowtiehill The White house at Bow tie hill is a three bed two bath contemporary ranch home built in 1975 on 13.41 acres located at the end of a private country road. Watch the sun and moon rise, see stars and hear birds, explore cherry and apple trees and gaze at the Shawangunk Mountains in the distance. There are two cleared areas one next to the home and one overlooking the property a short walk up. Old stone walls and trails throughout the property makes for a great escape getaway. The home is in the heart of the Catskills--under two hours north of New York City. Nearby you will find Hurleyville Market,a cozy country market for great coffee and local organic products. Lace up your shoes and go bowling at Kiamesha Lanes, take in a class or film at the Hurleyville Arts Centre or tinker and create at the Maker’s Lab. We are less than ten minutes away from Stagedoor Manor and approx twenty minutes from the Center for Discovery. We are surrounded by some great hiking spots in the Catskills, including Verderkills Falls and the Ice Caves.
White House is on an unpaved country road on Bow Tie Hill in the Loch Sheldrake area. This is the Catskills, so cellphone reception is spotty. Use Google Maps—and drive slowly. There's sledding and skiing in the winter, and hiking in the summer.
  • This was maybe the best air bnb we’ve stayed at. The house was Perfect for our needs - six friends getting out of NYC for NYE. Although it was very cold and very Icy, we made ourselves right at home with plenty of blankets, fire wood, games, and cooking in a very well stocked kitchen. They even had a waffle Maker which we loved! Truly very thoughtful and communicative. The single beds were super comfortable but the double beds could use an upgrade. Definitely would love to stay again when we can utilize more of the outdoor space - there’s a fantastic fire pit in the back and a dart board!

    Emily2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for 5 nights for Christmas and loved our stay! From the welcome gift to the cleanness of the home. Everything you may need is there, just bring your bag! Plenty of great hikes and only a short drive to Walmart. I highly recommend this home! And the cherry on the cake: amazing hosts! 💯

    Riley2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Bow Tie Hill made our birthday weekend getaway all the more special. The house was private, beautifully decorated, with the stylish living room and kitchen being the stars. The view is amazing and we were stuck looking at it for our entire stay, especially after waking up and walking down the hallways from the bedroom to see it. The house has all the amenities to make it truly feel at home, there’s even a waffle maker! Shterni and Motti definitely made us feel at home, clearly communicating with us and even leaving a bottle of wine for us to celebrate. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we had an amazing time here and would 100% come visit again!

    Brianna2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shterni and Motti are excellent hosts and made our stay so easy. Their home is thoughtfully arranged, clean and bright. It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends.

  • Such a beautiful cozy home, great for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were so communicative and sweet. Highly recommend!

    Lily2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a delightful family weekend at Shterni and Motti's place. Everything, from communication with the hosts to the decor and special touches in the home, was done in an extremely thoughtful way. The house is spotless and super well organized, and we especially loved the views from the spacious and comfortable living room and deck. Thank you, Shterni and Motti, for an exceptional stay!

    Ben2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The hosts were very kind and the space was comfortable for our group of five. It was clean and had everything we needed. As you can probably tell from the photos, the living room area is the show stopper. We loved the huge windows and easy access to the spacious porch.

    Linn2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay at this site, and will def be back. The house is perfect, super-clean and spotless, with fresh linen, soft towels, and every odd and end you may have forgotten to pack, and a warm note and welcome package to start your stay. The rooms themselves are beautiful, fresh and bright, and the main attraction is a 15’ high window wall overlooking the mountains - in the fall, the colors were breathtaking. Tons of well thought out amenities let us really enjoy the country the way we hoped to, with a wood burning outdoor fireplace on the deck, a fire pit with seating, a beautiful meadow, the list goes on. Host was available with super-quick responses, and clearly put a lot of thought into the guests experience, with good setups for access, climate control, WiFi, lighting, linen, etc. Highly recommend!

Our cabin is located in the stunning Catskills area of Neversink, NY. A perfect hideaway to embrace a mountain visit—with modern conveniences. Build a fire, sit next to our trickling koi pond, or relax on our deck with lake views. A peaceful sanctuary, our two-bedroom cabin is complete with a wood-burning fireplace, modern amenities for those who don't want to fully unplug, and 360-degree views of nature!
Two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms. With a stocked kitchen for cooking. Living room, dining area, and den. Spacious outdoor decks, a spring-fed koi pond, and a furnished outdoor sitting-house. The master suite is set up for lounging. With a queen-sized mattress and sliding door to a private deck—you are surrounded by nature, with a view of the lake. The second bedroom has a full-sized Awara mattress and a view of our front-of-house landscaping. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms. The master bathroom has a large walk-in rain shower. The main area is an open plan, with a stocked kitchen equipped with a large oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee makers, and all the utensils and pots & pans you could need. Our Jotul Winterport fireplace is a great spot for sitting with a cup of tea/coffee and warming up. Enjoy an indoor fire, whenever you'd like.

The Neversink and Rondout Reservoirs are special natural landmarks that offer amazing vistas and easy hiking. The General Store (5 minute drive) is perfect for snacks, sandwiches, and good coffee. Or a 20 minute drive puts you in Livingston Manor—an adorable mountain town with local shops and cafes. The birthplace of U.S. fly-fishing is here — the nearby Beaverkill River. Fishing here and on our lake (Lake Paradise), outside the house, is stocked with fish (you'll need to get a permit for both). There are loads of outdoor activities, awesome trails and winding roads to jog, and bike. Its also a wonderful place to just hang out, cook and be at home. A car is a great idea to to take advantage of your stay—but, you could take a bus to Liberty and then a taxi to the house if your plan is to just stay at home and relax!
  • If you’re looking for a retreat in the woods, this cabin is perfect. The space is open and bright, even on rainy days. The view is amazing even before you step out on the back porch. Jason and Sarissa were very quick to respond to any questions and were a plethora of information when it came to local recommendations. Mine was a very relaxing stay!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. It was so peaceful! The place was very clean and convenient to hiking spots. It was also fairly close to Livingston manor and Debruce. Jason was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed! He also gave us great local tips and checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. Thanks again for a lovely weekend!

    Emily2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jason and Sarissa's cabin is the perfect peaceful retreat!!! The stylish, cozy interior and beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife made this getaway very memorable. Jason and Sarissa are super thoughtful and responsive hosts :) We'll definitely be back in warmer weather!

  • My partner and I had a wonderful Valentine’s weekend at Overlook! Jason and Sarissa were super responsive to all our questions while onsite, the home had an incredible view of the beautiful and scenic landscape, and the home was super warm and welcoming. All the amenities were top notch. If you’re looking for a scenic getaway in a charming home, this is definitely one I would highly recommend.

    Sammy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second stay at Jason and Sarissa’s charming home In the woods. We brought 2 couples to share in a quiet weekend away. The place accommodated is wonderfully. We had plenty of room and the kitchen is a dream to cook in. There was ice fishing on the lake just below the house that we watched with my friend’s 4 year old daughter. She also was fascinated with the little bridge and fishpond on the property. We had to keep her from trying to fish in it ha! Jason and Sarissa left a nice bottle of wine and a note that really touched us. We also had contact with our hosts throughout the stay. We played from their game collection and stoked the fire all night enjoying the cozy quiet of the Catskills. We also were given advice on where too go for ice skating, hiking and shopping. Our stay couldn’t have been better and if anything we were sad to leave the peace and quiet. Thank you Jason and Sarissa for all the amenities, care and attention to making our stay wonderful.

    Shawn2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a little escape from reality than this is the place! Started a nice fire, a movie and a bottle of wine. Found a good bbq place about a half hour away called Outpost Bbq. While driving there you pass beautiful reservoirs! A lot of hiking near by. Host was very pleasant to deal with. Look forward to going back!

  • 10/10 recommend . My partner and our friends decided to take a spontaneous trip out here for the weekend. A time to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hosts communication exceeded anywhere we’ve visited before. The home was sparkling clean and cozy. We did not want to leave. Jason and Sarissa were amazing hosts and if anyone reading this is trying to decide if they should make the trip out here.. the answer is yes! It is worth it.

The property is wooded 11 acres with communal fire pits, a swing set, 2 large play fields and hiking trails out the back. Mountain Dale is also the beginning of the rails to trails. Bike rental is available in town.
Check out Main Street in Mountain Dale; lots of new vintage shops, coffee shops and restaurants. It is a quick walk through our back woods trail to town.
  • We did not get to stay with them, unfortunately, as our daughter got sick. But they were so nice and helpful when we made the reservation and provided a lot of useful information. We hope to get a chance to stay at some point!

This totally private, sunny loft apartment in the outskirts of the quirky hamlet of Woodbourne is well situated as a home base to explore the regions hiking, biking, fishing, music and theater.
Sunny and private. there is a greenhouse space that is nice to sit in as well as a small patio. The woods are right behind the apartment. There is also a small pond and fire pit.
our neighbor hood is a Hasidic enclave during the summer months and it is crazy!!! The hamlet is full of kosher food restaurants and packed on a Saturday night. We also have a river with fishing spots. in the other direction is Grahamsville, home to littlest world fair, a live music venue, , antique store and museum. Ellenville to the south has a theater with excellent performances and a number of restaurants. Bethel woods is 26 miles west, liberty 8 miles north. public swimming is available in Loch Sheldrake
  • Liz and Oly were extremely friendly and welcoming. The loft is very clean, well stocked, and conveniently located for early morning hikes around Slide Mountain and the Sundown Wild Forest. Could not have asked for a better experience on my weekend trip to the Catskills.

    Anthony2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth and her husband are the kind of people you'd like to have as neighbors; warm, friendly and caring. Their place is impeccable, extremely comfortable, well-designed and stylish; one of the most enjoyable AirBnB experiences we've ever had. Recommend highly.

    David2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had SO much fun staying with Oly and Liz. Their place is so artsy, warm, inviting and cozy... exactly what one looks for on an upstate getaway. Their place was perfectly stocked with utensils and cookware which made cooking carefree and easy. The loft bed was super comfortable and we were all around very happy. The greenhouse is a perfect touch as we were able to enthrall ourselves in the surrounding foliage and night stars. This couple works hard to keep this place blissful and it shows. We won’t look any further when looking for an upstate getaway. Thank you so much!!! We will daydream about this place when we’re back in the city.

    Stephanie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome space, perfect getaway from the noise and crowd of ny, the trails are very busy, plan to be on a trail by 9 am if you are going hiking

    Ali2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • 5 stars isn’t enough to rate how amazing this trip was. The accommodations were perfect - amazingly comfortable mattress, beautiful artwork, full stocked kitchen, and a loft that has everything and anything to make you comfortable. Their property had an amazing garden which has the most delish basil, mint, beats, kale, tomatoes, etc. Elizabeth was nice enough to invite us to have lunch and we just couldn’t have enough of all the fresh vegetables. They were also kind enough to let us borrow bikes and gave us a handwritten map of where to go and what to do in the area. The surrounding community is beautiful and it was just such an amazing time. From hikes, to going to farms, to just kicking back with Elizabeth and Oly - this was a 10/10 trip. We’ll definitely be back!!

    Eman2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our stay. The place was nothing different than expected. It was clean, well decorated, had an artsy vibe, and very peaceful. The hosts were great and very responsive. We couldn’t ask for more!

    Tristan2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • beautiful spot! great hospitality!

    Graham2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a place in the area to stay to pick my daughter up from camp and kept my expectations in check as I wasn’t planning on spending a lot of time in wherever i found. I liked the look of this particular space, got a good vibe from its description and it was super close to where I needed to be. When I pulled up and saw the beautiful gardens and realized the entrance to the barn is private and secluded through a sun room into the light filled loft, stylishly appointed containing art and comfy seating while being airy and clutter free. I fell in love with it and instantly wished I could spend more time there. While Elizabeth clearly offered total privacy, while living next door, once I met her in the driveway and chatted, I realized quickly that the option of host contact is a big perk here .. if the guest chooses it and she clearly respected either way. Elizabeth could not have been more accommodating with coffee, treats, suggestions and overall hospitality. I love her place so much, I hope to go there and stay a week outside of the camp weekend to read in the sunroom, gardens and explore the area’s growing restaurant and entertainment scene. I am so lucky to have found The Artists Loft. An unexpected gem in the lower Catskills. Thank you Elizabeth!

Charming Country House with Scenic View! Beautiful serene property - just over 11 acres - with amazing mountain view. In the summer take a dip in the salt water pool to escape the heat or swim by moonlight. Take an outdoor shower- gaze at the stars or gather around the fire-pit with a nice glass of wine and friends. Sit on the porch and wait for the hummingbirds to buzz by. Take a walk around the property or lane ... every time nature shows you something new.
What makes this place special? Is the vibe and the place it'self. You will feel refreshed and relaxed like you never have before about 24 hours after you get here : )- Just enough time to shake off the City vibe. You are not coming here for the restaurants or the nightlife - you are coming to unwind and unplug. Although the house has 2 large smart TV's and very high speed internet/ also a projector. Please note you are remote- the nearest town is 25 Min away so please keep that in mind when bringing yourself here. I don't mind if you use my salts/peppers/spices / coffee but you will want to stock up on groceries etc. There is a Shop Rite in Ellenville and a few nice places to eat (The closest towns are Grahamsville (7 miles) or Ellenville (15) with basic shopping and a few great restaurants: The White Wolf, Aroma Thyme, Gaby’s Cafe, Nick & Tony’s and more

Michelle and her family were great hosts, making sure everything was prepped and supplied, while allowing us to have good isolation and privacy. Built in 1868, this historic one-room schoolhouse serviced the farming families of Lackawack Hill for almost a century. With the newly renovated additions, the Catskills Schoolhouse is now a charming getaway with an abundance of vintage and modern accents.
Get cozy in the light-filled open layout with giant east-facing windows for a view of the sunrise. The kitchen is stocked with a pourover coffee bar for a relaxing morning ritual, and has all the tools and dishes needed for a cozy home-cooked meal. The living area features comfortable seating for reading, listening to vinyl records, or simply relaxing by the warm wood pellet stove.
Catskill Schoolhouse is located in the southwestern area of the Catskill Mountains just over 2 hours outside of New York City. A 15-20 minute drive takes you to the incredible Minnewaska State Park boasting incredible views throughout. To the Northwest, you can enter the Catskill Mountains and have access to an endless range of hiking and camping options.
  • Hands down the best place to stay in the area. The house and furnishings are luxurious and the grounds are quiet and beautiful. It’s right near the lake/reservoir, which is a must-see. Tons of incredible hiking within short driving distance. Or if you want to just relax around the house, it’s perfect for that too. Love the warm furnace and the East-facing windows in the mornings. Will try to come back in the summertime to enjoy the hammocks outside!

  • I had one of my most memorable stays at this one-of-a-kind gem. This spacious, sunlit and tastefully furnished home is a quintessential modern-day country oasis with a serene interior that lends itself to be the perfect getaway home. The owner thoughtfully retained the old charm of the original schoolhouse, naturally integrating historical details into the interior design, while introducing contemporary and technologically savvy accents, such as the Nest temperature control system. The mere interior design of the home is worth the stay — in addition to the peaceful and scenic location, spacious property, and easy access to local sites (such as Minnewasaka State Park, the locally famous Damn Good Honey Farm, and various stores & restaurants). The bedrooms are also super comfortable and cozy. The home is impeccably clean and well-maintained, true to the images here. Andrew and Carol are amazing hosts - responsive, friendly, and very organized. The check in/out process was seamless, and I was able to access everything I needed. Additional perks: beautiful kitchen with pourover coffee, a unique pellet stove, a vinyl record player with a complete collection stocked, large flat screen TV, a fun game room (with Shuffleboard too!), perfect shower pressure, and many more exquisite details. I highly recommend this place and will be back myself!

  • We had this amazing weekend getaway at Catskill Schoolhouse. Carol and Andrew are great co-hosts, keeping us well posted beforehand with helpful info for things we could do. The check-in was easy. The house was very well kept, very clean, cozily warm, and welcoming being a historical school site. The kitchen has plenty of basic necessities thoughtfully provided, we did all day hiking the next day at a trail about 15 minutes away. We found a great local Italian restaurant for dinner and the third day we just stayed in relaxing, enjoying the beautiful morning sunshine and watching deer wandering by. It was secluded but also very convenient to venture out. We definitely will come back again and again.

  • We loved our stay at the cabin. It is tastefully decorated and felt very homey and comfortable but also stylish. We had a lovely fall weekend with the amazing views of the trees and a fire going in the wood burning stove. Although the cabin is small, it has everything you need! Marcie was a great host and very communicative. Highly recommend.

  • Marcie's cabin was a great place to stay in the Catskills. Cozy spot with a great fire & lots of autumn leaf sightings around in October.

  • Our family wanted a nice getaway in the mountains, and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was comfortable and fit the environment perfectly. We made a fire in the outdoor pit, enjoyed a book in our lofted bedroom, and took hiking day trips in the surrounding area. Communication was seamless and our hosts prepared us well.

  • Marcie's place was everything as-described and more! We loved her adorable chalet/cabin from the moment we walked in. There are so many fun touches, from the colorful rugs & textiles to the record player, projector, canoe, back porch, and more. We slept SO well in her comfy bed, and we cooked up a storm in her adorable kitchen. We really enjoyed hiking nearby and canoeing around the nearby lake. Lovely weekend getaway for us and we'll definitely be back!

  • We had such a wonderful time staying at Marcie's cabin. The house is so comfortable and stylish, and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We loved hanging out on the deck and using the record player, and had a great time taking the canoe out on the lake. Marcie was super easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend taking a hike around Willowemac Wild Forest, which is about 15 minutes from the house. One of the most beautiful hikes I've ever been on!

  • We had a fantastic stay at Marcie's chalet and could not have asked for better accommodations for a weekend get-away.

  • The cabin is so cute-the perfect place for a weekend away from the city. We loved the projector and always had records playing while we cooked and played board games. The grill allowed for delicious summer meals and we loved the walk to the gorgeous waterfall!

  • We enjoyed all the mid century modern small touches of design and aesthetic. It’s exactly what we love about this side of the Catskills. Visiting every fall at different properties, it was nice to come in the summer and bring our small family. Cozy for a young family, the kids enjoyed the escape from Brooklyn: building fires, exploring the land and local hikes. All directions (long and short) were easy to follow and much appreciated! The recommendations were spot on. We will definitely return, either alone, with the kids, or even with a close couple. We posted pics all weekend, and friends were so curious where we were staying! We are so grateful!

There is also a tiny house on the property that can be rented in addition to the house for a reduced fee if renting out both.
No matter what you enjoy it can be found here in the Catskills. Hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, eating, shopping at farmers markets, thrift shops, gambling at the casino, watching shows and concerts at Bethel woods, going to local museums, or just instagraming it all!!
  • We had a true escape to The Catskills. The property is absolutely jaw-dropping. Sparkling clean with lots of fun surprises that make the experience truly special. Great area close to great hiking. From a sauna to a spa area to a swimming pool sized bathtub. We had some great campfires and loved walking around the property. Renting the tiny house as well would be perfect for a multi-family get away. Our complements to the host. Bravo!

  • It was a great house with hidden features. The basement was amazing with games to play. We mainly stayed in the upstairs because there was plenty of seating for us to play board games. The bathrooms were awesome with a soaking tub. Would stay here again.

  • Stayed at Trevonnes place with a few friend for my birthday weekend and had an amazing time. Trevonne was incredibly accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. Her guide to the house and activators in the area was incredibly Impressive and super helpful for us over our stay. Overall awesome experience!

  • We had such a wonderful week at Trevonne's place. It was so much better than the pictures. This house has so many little hidden gems and such wonderful amenities. The house has wonderful insulation for the cold nights and a huge shower/soak tub to relax at night. Not too mention the indoor sauna and the massage chair. The basement has so many things to keep you occupied and no to mention hours of enjoyment. The communication was great for any questions or recommendations we had. Woodbourne is a very small town so keep that in mind when it comes to booking. If you need to go food shopping stores are 15-20 minutes way. At night you can see all the stars and enjoy the peace an quiet. We felt very safe and secure throughout our stay. Don't hesitate on booking this place. Thank you Trevonne and Everald for your hospitality!!!!!!
