  • Stacey was incredible in every way. Great communication with quick responses and always happy to help. She really does go over and beyond for her guests and we received a lot of kindness from her. The apartment itself is a beautiful space with a lovely outdoor terrace that really is relaxing and gets a very good sunset. The bedrooms were large and comfortable along with good decor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The living area is very comfortable with a good smart TV and large windows to see the water outside. The location is perfect as it is a quiet area on the docks which is also really quick to walk into town for everything you need. Very clean, good communications, great amenities and amazing value for money. Thank you Stacey for one of the best stays we have had and being a great host!

Midweek bookings can be room by room, price variable, tell us your budget and we'll see what we can do. We are frequent airbnb travellers, if you don't ask you don't get! Big comfy totally private house, warm outdoor pool with hot tub and jacuzzi. huge garden not overlooked, most rooms spacious, 2 have balconies, 1 ensuite, 1 has large wet room next door. £5 uber/taxi to city centre, £9 to Anfield, trains 100m and bus stop to airport and city centre literally outside the gate. 4 car spaces
Ultra private huge house & gardens. The house has a wonderfully outer suburb feel to it whilst still being close to the city centre. We are a 3 minute walk from the river Mersey with wonderful sunsets looking across to North Wales and Snowdon on a clear day. The house itself is large and spacious with a central atrium with comfortable lounge couches and large 8 person dining table and breakfast bar with 4 stools leading off to garden bedroom, front bedroom, conservatory and huge lounge. The lounge has two large sofas, a recliner, a 54" widescreen TV with full Sky package and surround sound which doubles as stereo for music, two sets of double doors into the garden and to the conservatory. The conservatory has high comfortable stools for 3 people at a round table, 3 wicker armchairs, loads of plants and its own sound system and numerous quirky lights. The dining room table seats 8 in chairs some of which date back nearly 200 years. The bedrooms are newly decorated and have a cosy, homely yet fresh feel to them, two of them have their own private balconies with loungers and bistro table and chairs. We do pride ourselves on our garden, it wraps around the entire house and is a wonderful place to be with wooden summer games room, swimming pool and jacuzzi/hot tub all not overlooked. The garden has 3 entrances, one on to the main road and two onto the driveway.
This is a beautiful neighbourhood full of extremely unique houses. We want everyone to have a wonderful stay in our home and ensure neighbours are kept happy too! The woods next to us, the Festival Park opposite and Otterspool Promenade beyond make for wonderful walks, bike rides or great paths for running.
  • Great sized house with everything you will need for your stay. Gardens are great and I’m sure the pool area etc would be fab in the summer.

    Jindy2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • The home of Jenny & Martin really did meet all of our expectations. We had the home for a couple of nights over a weekend for my daughter's hen do. We chose this place, not only for its spectacular styling and space, but also for the swimming pool, hot tub and play room. Among our party of 16, we had 2 pregnant women and a close family member who was severely handicapped. Having all these amenities meant that we didn't have to seek entertainment elsewhere in the evenings. We were all perfectly happy relaxing in their spacious lounge and dining areas, playing party games. As my daughter is a Harry Potter fanatic, on the Saturday, we attended a Harry Potter banquette in the Town Hall. Plus a quick look around the beautiful Christmas Markets, all transported via a very reliable taxi service. We all really had a wonderful time.

    Jenny2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay for a big group! There's loads of room for everyone and it's very comfortable. Obviously the hot tub is really great! Hope to be back again in the summer to take advantage of the pool and the big, beautiful garden.

My amazing 1 bedroom apartment in Liverpool. The BEST City Centre location EVER! This is a Georgian building with plenty of character - on a very pretty street. And, location, location, LOCATION. Everything is on your doorstep. Perfect for friends, for couples, for families and for work. I welcome guests to Liverpool from anywhere in the world.
Here are some snippets from the loads of great reviews I get about my apartment: "Carl’s wonderful apartment may well be my fave inner city crash pad!" [David from Switzerland], "Great Flat, even nicer than the pictures" [Emma from Alva], "It was as if we were at home! Clean, stylish, there was everything we needed and the perfect location" [Ralitsa from Bulgaria], "Much bigger than it looks on the pics" [Liz from Leeds], "This is a very, very good place for you and your family... We had such a great time there" [Hudson from Brazil]. The apartment has very large windows which let in an enormous amount of natural light and each window has an additional soundproofing sliding window. This is the perfect place to either use as a base whilst visiting all of the local city centre attractions or to sit in, relax and recharge your batteries. Please read my reviews to see how much my guests love this apartment!
This is a truly amazing city centre experience. Step outside of the apartment block and everything is on your doorstep. There is a health spa next door and a public gym across the road. The Liverpool Museum and Walker art gallery are 3 minutes to the left - for one of many cultural experiences, whilst the world-famous Beatles Cavern is 300 metres up the road. For those who are in town for shopping then the Met Quarter is 100 metres away, whilst the main Liverpool 1 shopping areas are 3 minutes walk.
  • This apt is centrally located first food, shopping and beatlemania

    Jennifer2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic location with a brilliant host! Charles is one of a kind with excellent hospitality skills and a brilliant eye for detail. We stayed here for 4 weeks over the Christmas/new year break to visit family close by as we were visiting from Perth, Australia. Charles not only met us upon arrival, he provided us with a great place to live for this time filled with all the essentials like sheets, coffee, cereal, towels etc, he also put up Christmas decorations for us! We were provided with a folder of what to do, what not to do, and places to visit which made it very easy for us, and meant any questions we had were already answered in this folder. We were also provided with parking passes to the local area so parking was not an issue. Staying in Chester was definitely the right decision, and choosing this place I could not imagine staying in some of the other places we looked at. The location is perfect, we could get in and out of Chester very easily as this place is just on the outskirts of the main part of the city. That being said, the city center is about 5minutes walk! I will certainly miss the ability to do this back home! If I could give this an extra star, I would. 5/5 from me and zero issues with anything - have already recommended Charles and his Chester house to family who also visit the same area every year. Highly recommend this place, If you're staying in Chester you have to stay here.

    Dave2020-01-15T00:00:00Z

Decompress with an indulgent soak in the bath in this peaceful haven. A Grade II listed building on the cusp of the famous Rope Walks district. Warm, colourful, characterful nest in the heart of the centre’s redevelopment. Our neighbouring plot is being built up this year-work: 8am weekdays, completely quiet at wkends & quiet from 5pm. Wine to soothe will be on full alert. Our prices stay super low until work is over. Trusted guests tell us construction is no noisier than the iconic Liverpool seagulls!
Quiet but incredibly central. Grade II listed building . Comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. Quality egyptian cotton linens and towels, and everything you need in the kitchen for a night in after a night out.. And a view of the Cathedral from the brand new mini bathtub! No tv channels (out of choice), but better still a huge pile of great movies & NETFLIX in the bedroom.
Liverpool is in flux; there is a lot of exciting redevelopment- incl. next door, so this is a fun time to be part of the regeneration. This urban oasis has friendly neighbours&sits minutes from Lime Street station, the docks, and vibrant Bold Street.
  • Great place to stay! Would stay again. Really nice apartment and great location! Host was helpful and friendly. Thanks for a good stay!

  • What can I say - Miranda's place was absolutely fantastic. We have stayed in her other Airbnb in Liverpool before, which is equally as gorgeous. When we knew that we were getting married in Liverpool, we knew we had to stay at one of her Airbnb's again! Miranda was excellent with communication, particularly as unfortunately our wedding day was literally just before we went in to lockdown due to Covid-19! She checked that we would still be arriving as planned, made sure that we were okay, and even let us check in early as a gift - really, really kind! When we arrived at the Airbnb, two glasses, a wedding card & some chocolates had been left for us. Honestly, if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a special occasion, we really cannot recommend one of Miranda's places enough! The flat is in a brilliant location, literally a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Very near to shops and supermarkets, and loads of takeaways/restaurants on Bold Street. The check in process is very easy, and Miranda is very fast to respond to any queries. Both myself and my husband (oooo - still sounds strange haha!), would highly recommend both flats in Liverpool, and Miranda as a host. You literally cannot fault a thing. Thank you Miranda - we will definitely be back once the crazyness is over!! :)

  • Excellent location. Exceptionally clean and great little touches from the hosts. Quirky and stylish flat. Will definitely stay again.

    Marlen2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Really unique and quirky decorations and the welcome bottle of wine was great after a day travelling. Every room felt spacious and well laid out and we had everything we needed and more in terms of amenities.

    Andrew2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely place to stay: the flat is full of character and in a great location. I’d love to find an excuse to go back !

    Amanda2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • One of my best Airbnb experiences yet. Everywhere was spotlessly clean (as someone who can be quite fussy, I really mean that), there was a welcome bottle of wine on arrival, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials like coffee beans etc. The bed and bedding were super comfy and the heating system is amazing! The location is absolutely perfect. Minutes away from Bold Street, so you're close to the fun but not right in the middle of it. We walked everywhere during our stay. Aside from the basics, Miranda's place is how I want my home to look someday! It's filled with amazing artwork, vinyl and books. Just bursting with character. I hope to stay here again next time I'm in Liverpool.

A special home-from-home with a comfortable contemporary style, offering a welcoming retreat at the end of a day spent on the Wirral. This is an ideal base to explore the local neighbourhood (particularly popular with cyclists, walkers, birdwatchers, gardeners and golfers) as well as the Wirral Way, Chester, Liverpool or North Wales. The decor is calming and neutral - our home is set up to make your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
You should know... *There is driveway parking for one vehicle and further off-road parking. *A lovely enclosed garden with several areas to sit, relax, and eat also offers secure bike storage in the shed. *Both bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs although there is also a downstairs cloakroom. *There are no special provisions made for families with young children, but we are always happy to discuss how the property is set up with you. *We have a selection of books, games and DVDs for evenings or rainy days! *Basic provisions such as tea, coffee, butter, bread and eggs are available for the start of your stay. *There is a 'smart' TV in the living room with both Freeview reception and internet/catch-up TV (along with a separate DVD player). The TV in the double bedroom includes a built-in DVD player and internet/catch-up TV provision via a ''NOW TV'' box (ie no Freeview). *Radio/CD player in living room, and radio in the dining room. *A hairdryer is available for guests to use. *It takes approximately 7 minutes to walk to the nearest general store/post office, newsagent, bakery, off-licence and fish-and-chip shop. Neston offers a wider range of shops, restaurants and facilities.
Ness is a quiet hamlet but from the door you can enjoy on foot or on your bike: * The Wirral Way - a disused railway track running from Hooton through Neston, to West Kirby. Stop at The Wirral Country Park for views, an ice-cream, a picnic or for a stroll on Thurstaston beach from where you will spot Shore Cottage (famous for its studio where several artists run creative courses!). *The Dee Estuary - enjoy the views across the estuary to Wales. There is a path for cyclists and walkers to head towards Wales alongside the marshes protected by the RSPB. Stop at Burton Mere where there is a fantastic RSPB centre from where you can spot birdlife and learn more about the wildlife on the marsh. Don't forget to stop at Nets cafe for refreshments - a very popular pitstop with walkers and cyclists. Alternatively you could stop at The Harp Inn for a different type of refreshment - this is a great spot to watch the sun go down. *Head to Ness Botanic Gardens - this is a botanical garden run by Liverpool University. Enjoy the beautiful planting, walks and refreshments in the very popular cafe. It's also very popular as a wedding venue! *From the house in less than a minute you can get on a bus which takes you directly to Liverpool - and the bus drops you almost outside the house on your return! *Neston - for the slightly more energetic the historic market town centre is a 20 minute walk (or 3 minutes in the car) for supermarkets, banks restaurants etc (market day is Friday!). There is also a train station in Neston (with free car parking available nearby). A little further brings you to Parkgate, a former Victorian seaside resort, now popular for its promenade (now no longer by the sea!) and its ice-cream! *There are also local opportunities to ride horses, fish and play golf. *Beyond the boundary of Neston, visit historic Chester or the iconic city of Liverpool, shop till you drop at Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village, have fun at Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, or walk to Hilbre Island from the beach at West Kirby. North Wales is even on the doorstep. For further information, check out the following websites: visitwirral visitcheshire visitliverpool visitchester visitwales
  • Absolutely loved my stay here! Brian was very quick to respond to any queries. The location was spot on with Aldi just down the road. There were lots of nice cycle routes & a map provided by Brian. The property also has a lovely garden - I definitely want to come back in the summer!!

    Emma2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house is comfortable and very tastefully decorated. There's also a nice 1-hour local walk which Brian has mapped out. (With optional pubs and cafes.)

  • Lovely cosy place. Perfect for a family. Lovely RSPB place within a stone’s throw and good walking

    Angharad2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully clean, welcoming, cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more, including a few essentials on arrival. The location was great to access a number of cycle routes and it was only a short drive to Neston where we enjoyed a lovely meal at Elephant Bank. Although we didn’t meet Brian, we appreciated his quick responses and his willingness to accommodate our slightly early arrival. We’d have no hesitation recommending this as a place to stay.

  • This cottage is just lovely. An ideal retreat or a base for exploring nearby Liverpool The Wirral...situated in the lovely town of Neston...I was extremely comfortable here and they provided EVERYTHING I could possibly have needed. A gorgeous garden to sit out in and I loved the roomy bath and shower. The bed was very comfortable. Such a cosy beautiful place with so many lovely touches...it was obvious to me that the host must be artists as the decor and paintings were quite beautiful. I would highly recommend this place...you won't be disappointed .

    Maria2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is such a lovely place. It has everything you Need, they have thought of everything. The hosts were very kind and dealt with anything I needed very quickly and promptly. Such a relaxing space as a retreat or as a base to venture out. Neston is a lovely little town and it's a stones throw away from Liverpool. I would highly recommend this gorgeous cottage...best place I've stayed at yet for having EVERYTHING I needed for a comfortable lovely stay! Maria

  • A good place to stay as a base for going out to work, good to know that staying here helps charity work as well.

  • A cottage welcome and a quiet stay.

    Martin2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a cracking cottage and Brice made us feel right at home. Room is comfortable and cosy but spacious as well. There’s a nice place for breakfast just down the road (Stones Bistro) which we highly recommend. Enormous fri-up for a tenner. It’s also worth noting that all proceeds from this Airbnb go to Brice’s charity work in Africa which we thought was lovely. Perfect stay. Thanks Brice!

    Will2020-01-25T00:00:00Z

  • A great place to stay. Brice is a friendly and helpful host.

    Steven2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful old house, warm and clean, comfy bed; I liked it and would go back. Brice is a jewel - been everywhere on the planet, stories galore. Lots of restaurants and cafes about 5 minutes away. A half hour to the "Ferry, cross the Mercey", to Liverpool. It was raining, so I missed the cathedral. Next time. Liverpool has seven miles of docks that used to send a hundred ships a day filled with emigrants to the US.

  • Such a gorgeous Air BnB! June and her husband welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showing us to the room and telling us about the amenities. June left us a lovely breakfast and was very helpful with her advice of how to get around the local area and to Chester. The room was spacious with a TV, small kitchen area, storage and bathroom. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend to a lovely town (we recommend the farm shop cafe) or as a great place out of Chester for a quieter stay. We'll definitely be back as the hospitality was incredible, thank you June!

    Stephanie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

  • Extra thanks to the host for the fresh milk in the fridge as we arrived late and didn't have time to go to the shops. The check in process was very easy. Host contacted in advance asking when we arrive to turn the heating for in advance- very thoughtful. The house is very spacious (it was 4 of us staying there) and has everything you would need for your stay. Kitchen in the house is fully equipped. The house is located a few minutes away from a big supermarket and local high street. Overall good short stay with prompt communication from the host. Many thanks!

  • Karen's house is great. It is big enough for a big group. The garden is very big, quite handy for children to play. The house was super clean. Kitchen was spacious and complete. Karen was responsive to every question we had. We had a great time at her place. I can only recommend it.

    Daniel2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Fenns had plenty of space for our party of four adults and two small children for the week. Good sized garden with plenty of places for hide and seek! All the practical things we needed were there and everything clean and comfortable. Local amenities just a walk away with Neston shops etc a five minute drive. Recommended.

    Geoff2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely house with everything that you will need and lots of space. Karen is on hand if needed but never intrusive. Local amenities nearby - a short car drive or a longish walk. The wirral is a hidden gem!

    Clare2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable

    Barry2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of 7 adults spent Christmas week at The Fenns and would definitely stay there again. Karen is welcoming, accommodating, approachable and great to chat to. The house was ideal for our needs - comfortable, cosy, well laid out, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is a good size, had everything we needed to make Christmas dinner and all appliances worked well; in fact, the cooker is better than my own! Excellent water pressure and plentiful hot water in the showers (a make-or-break for me), a downstairs bedroom for those with limited mobility, and parking for 3 cars. It's in a lovely location with a nice secluded garden, views across the Dee estuary and within an easy walk of a couple of good pubs. Neston also has a good selection of shops. In short, we highly recommend both the house and its situation.

    Janet2018-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic Airbnb experience. The Fenns is a beautiful cottage in the Wirral. Karen was super helpful. Highly recommend.

  • My family had an amazing UK vacation. The Fenns is the perfect place to explore the Wirral. We took walks from the Fenns to Park Gate. Took the train from Hooten Station to Liverpool, took a day trip to Wales, and a little day trip to York. We explored the walls at Chester, and ate plenty of fish and chips and drank in too many pubs to count! It was perfect, and the Fenns was the cherry on top. I will tell all my friends in the Wirral about it. Loved the place! It was so beautiful and perfect for my family. Thanks so much Karen! I will definitely recommend it to all my friends who are planning on staying on the Wirral :)

  • I had a lovely, if short, stay with Alison in her stylish home. The single room was very comfortable and offered all I needed after a long and tiresome journey. To be able to enjoy a lovely cup of tea with a piece of cake while winding down was just delightful. I shall definitely stay again if I am in the area and would highly recommend.

  • Alison and David’s immaculate abode, that has a gorgeous garden and style to boot, is the perfect show case for their warm hospitality. I was welcomed and made to feel at home immediately. The accommodations are well appointed and make for a relaxing, luxurious stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully set. Also, every morning they would give excellent suggestions for what I may want to experience in this wonderful spot in the world. Their directions were spot on accurate for every adventure I went on. Jennie, who came to help, was charming and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of, as well as sharing her extensive knowledge of this area. After a grueling year of finishing my MFA, this was the healing respite I so needed. I can not recommend this renovated school house enough!

  • Brice's home is definitely worth a visit. I've done quite a a few AirBnB's and this is my favourite. Brice is good company if that's what you want, very helpful on where to eat out, but otherwise he'll leave you to your own devices if that's what you want. Heswall is a 15 minute walk away & it has loads of restaurants. A nice area & very quite. Best sleep I've had in ages!

  • My husband, myself and our baby had a lovely stay at The Boot Room. It was just what we needed for visiting a relative situated nearby. Jill has thought of everything and there are lots of cute touches such as a G&Ts in the fridge, mini shampoo in the bathroom, a great breakfast spread...these show her care to attention and wanting to make your stay special. Thanks Jill!

  • I was in the area for a wedding and so glad I stumbled upon The Boot Room! Jill has done a fantastic job of providing everything I needed to make this little place feel like a home from home. The Boot Room was perfectly presented and super clean and tidy. Jill was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble (thank you for helping me with my dress crisis) I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone travelling to the Wirral. A truly splendid place. Thanks Jill

    Sophie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • A convenient and well equipped place to stay - within easy walking distance of restaurants/ pubs and coffee shops and very handy for walks/ cycling along the Wirral Way. Not large, but fine for two!!

    Lesley2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • As a frequent traveller for business I was absolutely delighted with The Boot Room. Spotlessly clean with a fabulous bedroom , cosy comfortable lounge and modern shower room this was better than most hotels at double this price. Situated very close to the parade in Parkgate with it's range of eateries, coffee and tea rooms and views over to Wales, the property is an ideal base for walking routes along the coast or Wirral Way. Although Jill lives in the attached property I only spoke to her on arrival as everything I needed was available in the accommodation.

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.
The property is located in the middle of four fields, so feels quite rural. It’s cosy and nicely decorated and we’ve aimed to make it very comfortable for our guests. We’ve selected bedding with a high thread count and luxurious towels.
We have good walks from the cottage, including Wepre Park and Hawarden Park. We have 4 pubs within 20 minutes walk and a fine dining restaurant and gastro-pub within 45 minutes walk. www.theoldgrocery.co.uk (fine dining, 45 minutes walk, with cocktail bar on Friday & Saturday, in the little village next to us!) www.runningharepub.co.uk (family friendly, reasonable car very, 20 minutes walk). www.thegoodlifeexperience.co.uk (different twist on a festival with lots of different acts and activities 12 - 16 Sept 2019). Chester Zoo is absolutely excellent. We are a number or National Trust venues within an hours drive; Erddig, Chirk Castle, Durham Massey, Tatton Park.
  • What a lovely cottage! So clean, stylish and homely. We had a wonderful stay and Gillian was a great host. The welcome Prosecco and cake were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

  • We loved staying at the cottage. The hospitality was excellent and the place was sparkling clean.

    Wayne2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is beautiful and very well equipped, from the beautiful decor, crockery and dishwasher to the log burner. The property is detached in the farm yard and secure for parking, and if you have a dog there are several paths leading from the gate through tracks and fields. Overall the cottage was perfect for us.

    Barbara2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Gillian’s place is lovely, I’d very much recommend it. She is a kind and extremely helpful host and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

    Bethan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic short stay as a family of 4. The cottage is located off the road so it is peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk to a pub and to drive to all the local attractions. The extra touches and welcome gift were very much appreciated and the host went out of her way to offer advice or help if we needed it. The only thing we missed was a freezer compartment to freeze our ice packs for picnics, but the host froze them for our journey home. I would definitely recommend the cottage.
