  • Our forth time at Lynn’s cottage in two years. A little piece of paradise even in the winter.

  • Our second stay at Lynn's cottage was wonderful. The place is sparkling clean, well-appointed, cozy, and welcoming. As soon as you set foot inside, it really feels like home. Lynn takes care of every detail and is a terrific host. You don't have to worry about a thing once you get there; just relax and enjoy the view!

  • Our stay at Lynn's was so much better than we expected!! Can't wait to come back at some point for warmer weather. The wifi was spotty but she is getting a new router so that should be fixed. Location was perfect and gorgeous. We did get a bit of snow on our last night but they came and plowed the road/driveway right at 9am which was fantastic! Cannot rave enough about this place!

  • We had a wonderful time at Richard's apartment. You can't beat the view! Richard was so kind to allow us to make fire on the beach and even brought some sausages for the kids to grill!

    Pauline2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Richard and Linda were genuinely concerned with our stay. They wanted us to be comfortable and we were. The space was immaculate with lots of room/beds/bedding/linens/towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family of five. The property is located on a beautiful lake. It’s very peaceful. This was by far our most memorable stay in a BnB. We appreciate Richard and Linda very much for providing a unique experience for our family.

    Jim2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Linda & Richard are two of the most kind guys who are accurate and perfect host we have ever seen. Their property has an extremely vast and nice view on the Grand Lake, which is great to relax during the day and also enjoying the dreamy night view where the moon's light sparkle on the lake, which was a breathtaking experience for us. The house is very clean, you feel like in your own home. We wish go there again and again.

    Hooman2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Richard and Linda are very helpful and hospitable. They provided us with every thing we needed and showed us around .We had a wonderful stay at their beautiful house. The location is great and is best for relaxation. On the top a personalized service.

  • Excellent site

    Edgar2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Richard are lovely hosts and went the extra mile, and then some, to make sure our trip was great. Their granny suite was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well provisioned and when it didn't have something in particular, all we had to do was ask and they found one for us right away. The location has a great view of the lake and it is not far from Minto, a town where you can purchase the necessities.

Family friendly beachfront property on Grand Lake. Located on Cumberland Point Farms this cottage has been used by our family for three generations. A wonderful place to relax and unwind while enjoying the fantastic Grand Lake environment.
Arguably the best beach on Grand Lake! With a southern exposure enjoy the beautiful summer days playing in the water, relaxing on the beach, sitting on the shaded front patio, or enjoy a good book lounging under the cedar trees in the hammock. Centrally located between Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John you are never more than 60 minutes away from a major city with the Town of Sussex roughly 45 minutes away. Three bedrooms with double beds, one bath, and a full kitchen. There is no internet or cable as we like this to be a place to disconnect and unwind. There is a full cell signal should you require. On calm nights enjoy the sounds of crickets in the hay field that is our backyard and the loons howling on the lake under the moonlight, or fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves if a breeze picks up in the evening. If conditions permit an evening sitting around the campfire watching the sunset across the lake is hard to beat. During the day take advantage of not only the beach but also the spacious yard to enjoy badminton or volleyball, soccer or croquet, or whatever games and fun you can come up with! Please share any new games you come up with to add to our repertoire. Fresh seasonal produce available to purchase each day from Cumberland Point Farms only a short walk away. A private boat launch is accessible via the side yard. It is over the beach and 4WD is required. We ask that any ruts created be raked at the end of your stay to prevent erosion of the beach and maintain the visual aesthetics.
Located at the end of a quiet dirt road accessed via right of way through private property. There are 10 other cottages on this road occupied mainly by long time owners. Everyone is incredibly friendly so don't be afraid to say hello.
  • We loved the cottage and stayed here for 6 days. Everything you need was there. It's a very good place we're you can relax and enjoy the see. The sunrise is beautiful. The communication was really good. I wish to come back!!!

  • This is a perfect spot if you love Grand Lake like I do. Listening to the waves at night was a highlight for me. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of towels, dish towels, etc. Plentiful toys and books are a big added bonus as we took our 5 year old neice. I plan to come back next summer but for more than 4 nights. I did not want to leave.

  • Lynn's place was EXCEPTIONAL. It exceeded our expectations with well appointed rooms and a large common area for family gatherings or just looking out over the quiet lake.

  • Beautiful Location! Private, quiet and right on the lake. The house was spotless and spacious with stylish decor (mix of vintage and modern); Lynn was a very responsive and courteous host, offering wine and cheese upon arrival, as well as the use of the canoe and kayaks for the trip. The nearby town has all the amenities that you require - All in all, a great vacation!

  • Lynn's place was even better than expected. It was immaculately clean and check-in was super easy. The house is very well equipped and very private. The breezes from the lake were amazing and we enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves from the master bedroom. We were especially thankful that Lynn is accepting of dogs as ours is with us for a 5-week road trip. He loved the property and we felt safe having him off leash. The peace and quiet was refreshing! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lynn's house to anyone wanting to holiday in the area.

This dome also comes with its own outdoor wood-fired hot tub(with additional cost) and propane barbecue. ***In winter times, when temperatures are below -5 Celsius, hot tubs are not operational due to risk of freezing pipes and safety for our customer.
  • We had a fabulous time at Glamp Camp! Our dome was even more impressive than advertised and well surpassed our expectations. Perfect for a weekend getaway! The host was very helpful and accommodating; from our later-than-expected check-in to providing local tips and making sure we knew where everything was in the dome. Overall we had a really amazing time and intend to visit again soon!

    Hannah2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great little spot that just opened up. We were greeted by a the owners when we arrived. They were both very friendly and happy to have us. We stayed 2 nights for new years to have a quiet get away. They put up some decorations in the dome and offered us some beer. It very was a nice personal touch. The dome was great and the perfect mix of out/indoor living. It was certainly a unique stay. We did a little snowshoe tour of the other domes and they all looked equally as nice. Everything was exactly as described. This is a great alternative to camping if you like the outdoors and still want to have a kitchen and washroom. We hope to visit again this year!

Try out tiny house living in our cozy, modern space with loft bedroom, full bathroom, and functional kitchen. Tucked into the forest's edge, the tiny house is the perfect place to observe wildlife and enjoy a relaxing retreat. We offer a 15% discount for active military, veterans, police, and first responders. Just send us a message prior to booking. Check us out on Instagram @swancreektinyliving for more photos of the tiny house, home renovations, and our property
Though it only measures 8.5 feet wide x 21 feet long, our tiny house is a fully functional micro house where you can sleep, cook and live in comfort. Linens, towels, cookware, etc. are provided. Just bring your luggage and groceries! ON THE MAIN LEVEL: Open-concept kitchen, dining and living areas are great for preparing meals and hanging out together The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious meal, but please note that due to space constraints, traditional kitchen appliances are replaced by a single-burner induction cooktop, high-end countertop oven, and an under-counter refrigerator (no freezer in the tiny house). The kitchen table can comfortably seat two in the folded position, and can be folded out to accommodate additional guests. In the living area, you will find a full-size sofa, which can be converted to an additional bed to accommodate a third guest. The main floor also boasts a full bathroom with a 32-inch shower stall, full-size vanity and conventional flush toilet. LOFT LEVEL: The master bed is located above the kitchen and is accessible by ladder. For this reason, the tiny house is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments. OUTDOOR SPACE: The tiny house has its own private outdoor living space, complete with campfire pit (please check with hosts before planning a campfire as local restrictions on outdoor fires may be in place depending on weather conditions) and private deck. A BBQ is also available for guest to use during their stay. The tiny house is located on the hosts' rural acreage property, and is located approximately 300 feet from the main house, where trees provide privacy. We ask that guests park in the main driveway and walk a short distance over the grass to the tiny house, and can assist with luggage as needed. Please note that the tiny house is in a rural area, and we ask guests to be conscious of wildlife during their stay, and clean up any trash immediately after use. A sturdy exterior garbage bin is provided for guests to safely stow bags of garbage.
Swan Creek is a rural community located approximately 15 minutes from the town of Oromocto, and approximately 30 minutes from Fredericton. We are located a 7-minute drive from the nearest convenience store, so we suggest guests plan to bring any groceries or items they will need during their stay. The Village of Gagetown is a scenic, historic village located approximately 15 minutes from the tiny house. We suggest making a dinner reservation in the village, visiting local pottery and craft shops, making a stop at one of several fruit u-picks, or taking a walk on one of the trails near the village. The hosts' property spans a total of 58 acres, approximately 6 acres of which consists of a cleared field. The rest of the property is forest and wetland. You'll find a variety of wildlife including frogs, deer, moose, foxes, woodpeckers, hummingbirds etc. Though we aren't farmers, the property was previously farmed and boasts beautiful (but sadly neglected) cultivated apple trees, and numerous berry patches which we encourage guests to pick and make use of.
  • We had never stayed at a tiny home before, so we didn’t really know what to expect. The place was lovely; clean, stylish, and had all the amenities we needed. Although the place was small, we didn’t feel cramped at all. We enjoyed sleeping in the loft! Great location and beautiful spot- we were able to take a short walk in the field adjacent to the house. We would definitely come again.

  • This place is magical. Being alone and in such comfort is exactly what everyone needs these days. To just disconnect without sacrificing the comforts of home. • This is a great place and location to spend some time at one of New Brunswick's hidden treasur.es, the Grand Lake area. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly and offer the best food and coffees in the region. I highly recommend it

    Joerg2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Lacey's - in the dead of winter, so I can only imagine how much fun it would be in the summer. The place is perfectly decorated, everything in it is high quality, and I wish I knew how to get my home that clean! Beds and linens were comfy, we managed fine with the kitchenette, TV casts from your phone, wifi was fine for Netflix. Lacey lent us snow shoes to walk down to the lake, and we really enjoyed the coffee, food, and atmosphere in the cafe, including an afternoon spent playing cards. My (older teenaged) kids and I had a perfect weekend getaway - highly recommend.

  • It's a gem of a place. Great food downstairs and nice people.

  • The space here is just so happy! I love the colours and little touches, like complimentary tea bags and an extra bed set up for our kids. Our stay was wonderful and we loved connecting with Lacey and her family. The cafe is so welcoming!

  • I loved this old house with all its antiques and charm. Much larger then I expected, inside and outside. The rooms upstairs are spacious and there is ceiling and floor fans both in each room to keep you cool. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunsets. It is an hours drive to anything touristy - we mostly had to drive to Moncton and on from there to do anything. But if you don’t mind driving during the day to have peace and quiet at night, this is the place to stay. Reminded me of my great grandparents house. I really enjoyed staying here.

    Jenna2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Don't let the lack of air conditioning scare you, we were there during a major heat wave and the place was quite cool and they had fans everywhere. The place had everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable. It was a good central location allowing us to visit all the corners of NewBrunswick. It was a really great stay.

  • We had a fantastic stay in Waterborough! The house was lovely, fully equipped with everything we might need. The location was great, very close to Grand Lake and a comfortable drive to Fredericton, St John and Moncton. We enjoyed taking in the city sights, interspersed with some lovely down time at the house. Our kids really enjoyed their stay, they told us the house reminded them of Green Gables! There was lots of space for the kids to run around outside, which they took full advantage of!

  • Really calm and relaxing place. We enjoyed to sit outside with our feets in this beautiful lake. If you want coffee you have to bring Keurig cups since there's no regular coffee maker and we could not find any condiments (except salt/pepper) but past these details, it was an awesome trip and the host's are friendly and answers quickly.

    Julie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • It's usually only in exceptional circumstances that we write a public review. Ines and Doug and their home fall into the exceptional category in our view. They went well above and beyond our expectations which are based on our many B 'n' B stays around the world. Fantastic hosts.

    John2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Inez and Doug’s place on the Washadamoak was beyond all expectations. They’ve lovingly restored the old house, filled it with beautiful antiques, and created a space of serenity and hospitality. The grounds are a garden, with a wonderful meadow spreading down to the lake, making the view from the front veranda truly lovely. Our room was spacious and comfy, with great amenities. And Inez does hearty and delicious breakfasts, with fresh coffee waiting each morning. It’s been the highlight of our trip, and we are most grateful for the warmth and kindness extended to us. It was hard to leave!

    Tim2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely wonderful 2 days we spent at Norwood on Washademoak. If you are looking for peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and the most gracious hosts ever.... this B&B is the place to go. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right decision. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The views of the Washademoak Lake are breathtaking. The accommodations are second to none and with the old fashion charm of the house, one can't help but feel as though you have been transported in time. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the ensuite was beautiful and the deck off of our room was a great place to just sit and relax while taking in the quietness and spectactular views. Our hosts, Ines and Doug constantly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best possible. The homemade breakfasts that Ines made for us each morning where delicious and always had the added touch of homemade compotes, breads and jams. (even candle light and beautiful music). We also had the added bonus of enjoying Dot & Dill, the family sheep and the thrill of watching 2 red fox playing with one another in a nearby field! THANK YOU INES & DOUG AND DOT & DILL!!!!! Th

  • Ines is a wonderful host and her place is beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and the location is beautifully secluded. Ines was so thoughtful with making sure we had enough blankets and towels, sharing with us some delicious produce from her garden, cooking us a fantastic breakfast, and giving us some great tips on what to do in the area. We were so sad we had to leave when we did!

    Carol2018-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful spot in a lovingly preserved historic piece of New Brunswick history. Ines and her husband are fabulous hosts. Looking forward to returning soon!

  • Wow, this was the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had! Ines and Doug were the most wonderful hosts, always available and accommodating during our stay! They gave us a tour of the beautiful house (built in 1905). They took out kayaks for us to use on the lake. There are many paths for walking as well. It is so peaceful with many places to sit on the veranda with a drink or book. The food was incredible, with locally sourced ingredients. So many amazing touches! We wish we could have stayed longer and would return in a heart beat! Thank you so much !!!

    Brianne2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Ines was just wonderful! It is an absolut idyllic and beautiful place with a fantastic view! Just perfect to relax and calm down. We were sitting outside in the evening and had a very delicious local wine from Ines. The house was from 1905 and was just amazing with all those antique furniture, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy. We had some yummy french toasts and sausages for breakfast, served with coffee, fruits, local maple syrup and homemade compot. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this lovely place!

We are more than happy to offer tourist advice or point you in the direction of the various Village artisan offerings. Bring your kayaks and enjoy a gorgeous sunset paddle on the lake that your bedroom overlooks. Or bring your bikes along and enjoy the countryside without fear of dodging city traffic. If you enjoy running, the same applies! For those that just want to relax and watch the eagles soar overhead, sink into an Adirondack chair on your private deck and enjoy the peace and quiet!
We have a large circular driveway with plenty of room for a trailer.
Visitors cannot resist a casual stroll through the Village of Gagetown. Brochures are available to guide you.
  • Wow! This place is a bit of a trek to find, but it is worth it. Bonita and Russ have created a beautiful place. This is a full lower level space that includes a comfortable den, bedroom, bath and eating area. Russ even built a sauna - very relaxing. And it all sits on a small lake. We arrived on a rainy day, but still walked down to enjoy the view. Gagetown was pretty buttoned up for the season, so be sure to call and confirm what restaurants are open, if any!

  • A beautiful relaxing place! I stayed here while I was volunteering at the Foshay event and it was a perfect place to relax at the end of each day. Even on a rainy day I was able to sit on the back porch and watch birds and chipmunks while staying dry. A delicious light breakfast including fruit and homemade muffin was brought at whatever time I needed (and I had to leave quite early some mornings!). You will not regret staying here!

We are within an hour or so to three major centres of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton. Included in the price is a full breakfast. WIFI. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, the comfy beds, the outdoors space, the nature, the peace and quiet, and more! Our location is a great stopping point for those who are travelling through, or for those who wish to stay for a few days. We also offer another room with ensuite: https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/23448902
Our property covers 35 acres. At one time it was part of a working farm. What remains is the house, a couple of sheds and an open barn. We have created several pathways through the field which go to the lake, to our pond, and to other areas of the property. There is a path to Mott's wharf which belongs to the Village. It has a sandy beach area where one can go swimming. Perhaps our two resident shetland sheep, Dill and Dot, would go on a walk with you. Mott's Landing Vineyard and Winery is within walking distance, about 1/2 km.

  • My husband and I are so grateful and truly blessed to have found this little peace of paradise. Ines and Doug were so very welcoming. We were literally treated like royalty. Everything from the delicious homemade breakfasts, the amazing hospitality, the immaculate accomodations, the majestic view of the water, the tranquilty of the location, this B&B is like heaven. I can't say enough about the kindness and extra attention that was given to us during our stay by Ines. She is such a sweetheart and talking to her for just a few minutes made you feel like you had known her for a long time. With all the stress that my husband and I are under right now with our son going through cancer treatments, the couple of days we were there were so refreshing. It was just what the doctor ordered!! Dill and Dot their Shetland sheep were quite entertaining to. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back in the future and make this our little retreat away from life's stresses. The bed is super comfy as well. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven, you will not regret it. You will not find a better bed and breakfast than this anywhere. Thank you Ines and Doug for everything!!

  • We feel beyond grateful to have found Ines and Doug and their bnb. Between the incredible, delicious, homemade breakfast and the extra attention paid to make sure our stay was perfect I cant imagine a better experience. This is a place that instantly feels like home and has beautiful, calm views from every room. Ines also offered a lot of insight on things to do, where to go and was knowledgeable about so many things in New Brunswick.

  • Our stay at The Norwood B&B was absolutely lovely! Ines and Doug are so welcoming. They thought of everything and more to make sure that we enjoyed our time at their B&B we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! Dill and Dot the (the pet sheep) are absolutely adorable! The home is situated on a beautiful property overlooking a gorgeous lake giving you the most incredible views from every window of the home! Ines is a beautiful cook and makes the most delicious French toast and fruit compotes I’ve ever had! The room was spacious and immaculately clean as well as stocked with anything you could need! If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay with amazing country landscapes and incredible water views along with absolutely top notch hospitality then The Norwood B&B on the Washademoak is the hidden gem you’ve been searching for! 🙂

Please do yourself a favour and enjoy this NB gem.

  • This B and B was absolutely wonderful. Ines was a thoughtful and welcoming host throughout our stay. The home itself is in the most beautiful setting, with access to a lake to swim in. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. There are lots of places to sit and relax throughout the guesthouse- with a balcony and a porch to sit on. Breakfast was delicious, and Ines was kind enough to provide us with supper in the evening too. I would highly recommend staying here. Worth going out of your way for if you have the time.

This cottage on a beachfront property on west Grand Lake is the perfect place to unwind and relax! Enjoyed by four generations of our family and our many friends, we have had many repeat visitors who book vacations at "their cottage". Take a look!
Enjoy summer days in this relaxing cottage! Sweep sand out the door once a day and play in the water, relax on the beach, go for a cycle or enjoy a good book lounging in the hammock. In the evenings take a drive to Indian Point (the location of a former Indian summer camp) for amazing sunsets, visit an old Scottish cemetary and then come back to the cottage to enjoy a bonfire on the beach. In the mornings simply wake up early and look out the window to start your day with a sunrise that will inspire and energize! The cottage is well equipped for just about anything - including baking a birthday cake! It has a swing set and beach toys for kids, and toys for dogs! It has an abundance of books and games and access to cable and the Internet. Although built 50 years ago, and my mother's dishes and my fathers handy work are still evident, the cottage has a new well, roof, and septic system and a recently renovated bathroom. With a table that extends to seat 10, a washer and dryer, and plenty of sheets, towels and lawn chairs - this retreat awaits your visit. For those who want or need to stay connected to work, you can use our WiFi to connect to your office, yet listen to waves crashing on the beach to nurture your soul. Grand Lake is the largest fresh water lake this side of the Great Lakes, so some days the sound can almost be mistaken for the ocean. The cottage is easily accessible from the Trans Canada Highway when driving from Moncton or Fredericton; detailed driving instructions are available. The cottage is a 40 minute drive from Fredericton; 30 minute drive from Oromocto.
Located at the end of a quiet dirt road, on a property that was originally part of a farm, the cottage has a lakefront beach with boat access. On the same road are 4 other cottages built by friends and engineering associates of my parents; these are still owned by the same families. It is a quiet but friendly neighborhood - so please say hello! Within walking distance is a small church, and within a 2 minute drive is a fire department and community hall where pancake breakfasts are served every Saturday and yoga lessons provided through the week. Drive 5 minutes and you reach Douglas Harbour where there is a year round general store, liquor store and gas bar. Other groceries and supplies and a golf course are available by car within a 30 minute drive to the communities of Oromocto or Minto.
  • Lovely rustic cottage but well equipped and comfortable. Peaceful beautiful setting. Great for a family! Thoroughly enjoyed the place and Patsy is an excellent host.

    Philip2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Patsy's place is the perfect vacation get away! It was private, and set up perfectly for our family of 5. Something for everyone for sure! We enjoyed the bikes and kayaks almost as much as that amazong hammock.

    Jaime2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Patsy! Our family vacation was a wonderful Air bnb experience. The cottage was exactly as advertised and suited our family of 4 perfectly. Our preschool aged boys absolutely loved their time on the beach exploring the unique landscape while mommy enjoyed reading on the deck. The WiFi was much appreciated during a very windy day that kept us inside too. We hope to be lucky enough to return sometime.

    Jennifer2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • I rented Patsy’s cottage for guests attending my wedding. Everything was as advertised and my guests really enjoyed their stay at the lake! Thanks Patsy!

    Tasha2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Patsy’s Place was amazing for our family. We had four adults, a four year old and a one year old staying there. The cottage had everything we needed including kayaks that we used every day. Our holiday was perfect.

    Bob And Wendy2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We feel like we could have written this review months before we even arrived! That's because Patsy was so responsive to any questions we had in preparation for our visit as two couples with one 3-year-old toddler and a couple of dogs. We even asked her if there were any boats or bikes on site or anywhere nearby to rent them and within a week's time she had bought 2 new kayaks and had her son leave a couple of their personal bikes for us to use during our stay!! Patsy kept in touch with us throughout our week stay just enough to make sure everything was going well. The place itself was exactly as advertised. Charming and relaxing. Pretty secluded area. Nice beach area (though rocky, not sandy, so best to use water shoes). Large lake but shallow water. Fire pit for s'mores and BBQ for burgers! Our daughter enjoyed the swing set. Washer and dryer was also very convenient! Overall a very enjoyable stay and the best host experience we've ever had in an AirBnB thusfar. A++++!!

    Jamie2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Patsy's cottage is pure rustic lakeside charm. We had the most relaxing week swimming in the lake and enjoying the sound of the waves from the deck in the evenings. This is the perfect spot for a family or couple looking for a quiet and relaxing change of pace. The washer and dryer were an amazing bonus and meant we didn't need to pack as much clothing. Patsy was helpful and quick to respond to any questions and the cottage was sparkling clean when we arrived. We will definitely put this one on our list for places to come back to.

    Diana2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • If the view from the porch doesn't force you to unwind nothing will. A little piece of New Brunswick paradise... Thanks for sharing it with us Patsy!

My house has been custom designed to host Adult oriented parties. Have a spare bedroom for people who are open minded. Not recommended for families due to the decor that is around. If you have experience have multiple suspension hard points. Use of the fire pit is authorized as long as the fire ban is lifted.
Queen sized bed across hall to full bathroom with claw foot bathtub and shower. Full kitchen and beautiful backyard
  • I stayed with my friends at James place. He is a very pleasant person and his house a one of a kind. Overall you will have a lot of fun in his exordarnery decorated home. We need to point out this house is not suitable for kids. But we highly recommend with James. :) !

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Devon's place. I felt very comfortable and at home. I was greeted by she & her beautiful daughter the day after I arrived, since I arrived later at night. I appreciated the privacy given to me during my stay since I live with a chronic health condition & it's important that I get rest. The space is quite big, private with a kitchenette area. Much better than staying at a hotel & more affordable. There are two bedrooms & one of them is full of toys & books for children, perfect for a family stay. I appreciated the special touches, such as a cell phone charger, candles, Keurig coffee, a wood stove, hot water bottle, etc. Very impressed with the hospitality.

Very private treed 1 acre on waterfront on the Washdemoak Lake off the Saint John River. Cambridge Narrows area. New kitchen & bathroom. Beautiful walk in beach front. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, Great for boating and swimming. Brand new metal copper color roof in 2018.
Large open space with large deck overlooking the water. Lots of land for kids to play or to pitch a tent. Dog friendly. There are 2 large bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with two double beds. Sleeps 6 very comfortably. There is also a long lane-way off to the side to park a trailer or larger vehicle. Fire pit and lots of wood.
Big Cove, is the "piece de resistance" of the Saint John river. This is where the sailors come to find calm waters and tuck in from the storms. Visit Gagetown or Fredericton market by boat.
  • Nice and cozy. I highly recommend this getaway.

    Glen2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful, cosy, clean lakeside cottage in a beautiful quiet part of New Brunswick. The hosts are very attentive and responsive. The other cottage owners in the cove, that we had the pleasure of meeting, were friendly and warm. The hosts provided a canoe, a kayak and a paddleboat for those who like to get out onto the water. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing lakeside vacation. Great for children and older folks as well.

    Gael2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's cottage is a perfect spot to get back to nature and enjoy the beauty of New Brunswick. This part of Washamedoak lake is warm, with little fishes swimming around the dock. It's surrounded by quiet forest alive with happy frogs and beautiful fireflies. It's truly a magical, idyllic location. Lisa also left beer for us in the fridge to welcome us to our vacation which was a lovely touch, and the caretaker who lives nearby was easy to get a hold of and friendly. There was a flood this year, and as a result the roof did leak during a rainstorm. I understand that repairs are already scheduled, as well as some upgrades to the already fabulous deck which overlooks the lake. This was a great value for a really wonderful family vacation, and it's only about an hour and fifteen minutes from Fredericton, making it perfect for day trips into town.

    Kathryn2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa has a wonderful place right on the lake. She was very helpful with providing all information needed and answered all our questions quickly. The cottage is a lovely spot, well appointed, and extremely comfortable. We had a great time and would come back again. Thanks for a great time!

  • We arrived to a nice message on the driveway. Location completely met our needs plus was very clean and comfortable. Krista was quick to respond to any questions. She also provided us with travel tips, maps and information about things to do. Air conditioning was provided but with open windows and cross breeze from lake nights were very comfortable for sleeping. My husband, mother and son and I all enjoyed our stay. My mother has mobile issues and cottage allowed for her to have no issues. Parking close to door, washroom close to room she slept in. Upstairs sitting room allowed for my adult special needs son to have his own space. I would highly recommend location and cottage.

We had a wonderful stay in their beautiful and peaceful home and garden, with a superb home-cooked breakfast, entertained by the hummingbirds, birds and their fabulous dog, Annie.

  • Had an amazing time at this historic and beautiful bed and breakfast. Spotlessly clean and charmingly furnished, the most outstanding part of our stay was the warm welcome and attentive service of our hosts. Highly recommended! Quiet, friendly neighborhood.

  • This is by far the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at. The place is perfect complete with a platter of snacks to munch on on arrival. We ate a breakfast that would only compare to a 5 star resort in the backyard while watching hummingbirds. The towels supplied are the best I have ever had anywhere including our house. Fred and Kathleen are excellent hosts who are very proud of Gagetown. I had no idea the amount of Canadian history that has happened there.

    Mark2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Mission House and the historic town of Georgetown are great places to stay and visit. We arrived at the Mission House at 1 am after driving in the pouring rain for several hours. Kathleen and her husband were very kind and welcoming. A cheese plate in the room was a wonderful end to all the driving. Breakfast was also great. The Mission House has been wonderfully restored by Kathleen and her husband and the grounds and gardens must be beautiful when in full bloom. We had a chance to walk around Gagetown for awhile and were very taken by the craft shops, the old homes and churches and the view over the St Jon River . We hope to return and recommend highly the Mission House and Gagetown to other travelers.

    Jim2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • We checked in on a beautiful sunny Good Friday , Kathleen greeted us with a tour of the house and then showed us to our room . The house is gorgeous , very warm and welcoming , a reflection of the owners. There was a cracker , cheese and fruit plate in the room , along with chilled bottled water . Robes and slippers were also provided for us in our room , lovely touch ! We were able to sit on the back deck with Kathleen and Fred and enjoy a drink while soaking up the sunshine . We had a very quiet , peaceful night in a comfortable bed and in the morning we were greeted with a fantastic gourmet breakfast ..delicious ! I will definitely return to Kathleen's B&B , a restful , peaceful wonderful place to stay ! Thanks so much Kathleen and Fred .

The neighborhood is very quiet with a few cottages on one side. The closest convenience store/vegetable stand/gas station is a 7 minute drive down the road at Turner's One Stop. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you fancy going out for a bite. The liquor store is a 15 minute drive. The beautiful village of Gagetown is 15 minutes away if you feel like checking out more restaurants and shops.
  • This is a great cottage for families or small groups who enjoy lake swimming, kayaking and campfires on the beach. There's a nice deck to enjoy a morning coffee, afternoon cocktail or dinner on the BBQ. It's a very relaxed space with room enough inside to spend the day in case it rains.

  • Our second stay here and was another amazing sunny weekend right on the water. Jayne is a great host and her place is a rare gem in new Brunswick with direct beach access and a spacious lawn and living quarters. The water and beach are sandy and warm with kayaks to use and a fire pit and lounge chairs for the evening. There is tonnes of space inside and the beds were all very comfortable. The beach is really private and huge . The lawn is great for lawn games, the deck for having drinks even if the weather is bad and the inside is cozy. Thank you again for sharing your little piece of paradise! The boys and I will be back again!

  • The place has a great view and is peaceful, it is clean and spacious and has that real cottage charm. Some nice touches are that we had forgotten bug spray and sunblock and there was some available there, life jackets were provided as well - it was the little things that added to a great weekend. Other benefits were that there was a bin with a bag ready for recyclables, condiments available, DVD's and VHS for stormy nights and lot's of sleeping options (we had 6 people and could fit more with lot's of space). The deck was a large area and the BBQ was clean with lots of propane. The beach has a great view and perfect area for a fire in which we had. Jayne was really welcoming when I picked up the key and wanted to ensure the stay was everything we had hoped for. If you need anything from the store Turner's is close by. Great weekend, nothing to complain about at all - great spot and will be back. Thank you!

  • This is your perfect cottage and place to stay in New Brunswick. We absolutely loved Jayne's cottage and could not recommend it more. We will also definitely be returning. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The 3 bedrooms + couches and bunkbeds could make for quite the party should you go this route, but as 4 people we had more space than we knew what to do with. The property itself is wonderful: long, massive backyard with an unobstructed view of the lake. We took out the kayaks and kayaked all around several points around the lake. There's also a piano! And it's in tune! It was nice to sing a song or two while it rained for part of our stay. The cottage is stacked with board games, lawn games, washer toss, badminton, etc. Everything. This is the quintessential cottage experience with everything covered and thought of. You will be pleased as punch at Grand Lake, a beautiful, magical spot.

  • Jayne’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had an amazing weekend relaxing, hanging out in the water on the paddle board and kayaks and enjoying the view from the big deck.

  • This place is a rare find on grand lake. It's got a huge space for playing outdoor games, a very private beach, great swimming, kayaks, paddle board, hammocks on the Beach, fire pit on beach , and lots of sleeping accommodations and nice touches inside with coffee maker and all things you'll need to feel cozy. I can't imagine changing anything about this place. It's perfect and if you're lucky enough to stay here it'll be something you'll think of for many years after you leave. Jayne is so kind and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to go back!

When you arrive you will be greeted by the amazing smell of pine trees, and as you enter the cottage you will feel as though you have been hugged. Located right on the water, you will experience beautiful sunsets, loons and a huge beautiful deck.
  • What a great little spot. Outside of Fredericton yet an easy drive in. The back deck was a perfect spot for us to watch our kids in the water and to relax. The neighbors were incredible and the kids made new friends. Would definitely be a spot I would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Rod and Victoria

  • Rod and Victoria are the best hosts. Rod took my 5 children fishing on his gorgeous lake. The kids saw bald eagles, great blue herons and caught endless fish. It's a perfect swimming lake. The deck off the back of the cottage is great for nighttime bbqs. Bonfires on the beach. The kids didn't have enough time to catch fireflies or star watch. We needed a couple of weeks to truly enjoy this great location. We drove the family to St. Andrews ( the bay of fundy) to whale watch. We took Zodiacs out ( The Fundy tide runners) and watched a 25 ft blue whale circle and feed around us for a couple of hours. Most incredible once in a lifetime for my husband and I . I'm certain the children will never forget this moment. Priceless. We also enjoyed watching a Meinke whale that day. The kids explored and touched stingrays and starfish at the aquarium in St.Andrews. We saw several deer and a wild turkey around the cottage, but sadly missed the Moose swimming days before in the lake. The cottage was so quaint. Several interesting decor items, antiques and pictures. Very cute. Clean. The bed was so comfortable, along with the Fresh air, best sleep my husband and I had in yrs. This cottage is fully stocked with family games for the kids. Fully equipped kitchen to cook mussels and lobster. Fantastic trip! Thank you Rod and Victoria. We felt like Royalty.
