Allan is a great host. We feel so welcomed. The house is so large and fabulous beyond our expectation. You can almost find everything you need. The only thing is you can hardly get any reception for you phone if your provider is AT&T or T-Mobile...

We stayed here two families, with two kids each. The house is very large and there's lots of space. The second floor is very nicely renovated, and the master bedroom on that floor is wonderful, and has great views. The kitchen is large and pleasant, and we enjoyed cooking there. The lower floor, which has four bedrooms, is not newly renovated, and is quite different from the second floor. The rooms are all perfectly fine, they're just not quite up to the same standard as the second floor, and were not quite what we were expecting from the photos. The house is situated in a forest on a hillside, so there are really nice views from the deck, but there aren't large grounds to roam around (we knew this before coming, it's not a criticism, just something I had a hard time understanding from the listing itself, so am describing for future renters). We knew there was no WiFi, but were hoping for better cell reception. Turns out there is no T-mobile reception at all, which made us realise how reliant we are on the internet to plan stuff.

All of my friends really had a great weekend at Allan's house. The house is lovely decorated, a lot better than pictures. It also has a fantastic mountain view. Allan is a great host and made good arrangements for our stay.

It was a superb experience staying at the huge palace of Allan!. Right from day before visit Allan contacted and was extremely helpful in accomodating our early check in request. House was extremely nice and comfortable stocked with all required stuff. Very tastefully decorated with 2 patio decks, chairs, outdoor grill etc. We had a great time and would return for sure. Had a great time at James' home! The view was astounding, and the home lovely (especially the deck!). The lack of service and internet was a bit of a surprise, but a welcome one as the weekend was then spent hiking and reading. I'd definitely love to return!

My group and I had a wonderful time at James's home. The place is beautiful and has an amazing view from the deck in the back. The house is fully stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies. We were VERY comfortable there and would love to stay there again for a quiet weekend getaway.

James was a great host. He immediately contacted me after we booked and emailed me with specifics. Entry and exit from the house was easy.

Our stay was perfect. The ten of us had plenty of space to cook, sit in front of the fireplace and sleep. Plenty of bathrooms to accommodate us. The house is an easy 15 min to windham and about 20 to hunter. We used the taxi number left for us on the fridge for going out at night. This is our second time staying here, and we will definitely be back. The house has all the comforts you need when escaping the city, and it's conveniently located to outdoor activities for all seasons. The stargazing and back deck are amazing and James is an excellent host! Highly recommend!!

We had a enjoyable stay that was a very convenient drive to the Windham mountain for skiing, which was our main goal. The amenities, such as the hot cocoa, were nice. The book with suggestions on where to go in town was quite useful. Overall a very comfortable experience.

My friends and I stayed here for a ski weekend, at Windham (7 min away) and then Hunter (13 min away) and really enjoyed our stay! Place felt really clean and was really homey, and just as described. We even took advantage of Simone's DVD collection in the living room, laying comfortably on her giant couches! Thank you for the hospitality!

This place was everything it advertised- very clean, well stocked - spacious living place- easy drive to windham mountain for convenient skiing and to towns of hensonville and Windham. Simone was easy reach and made checkin and checkout really easy!! We would stay again!!

We stayed at David's place for a wedding on Windham mountain. Booked it last minute with no issues. "Country convenient" isn't just a clever name, as it is a very convenient spot in regards to all Windham has to offer. Neighbors were quiet and helpful when needed. David was also very easy to reach and responded right away.

Great location, easy communication

This was a nice stay. We barely spent any time in the place as we were on the slopes. However, coming back to a nice warm place was just the cherry on top to a great weekend. Thanks David.

The place was as advertised and very convenient for skiing at Hunter mountain. We were out and about for the most part and only needed one of the bedrooms. The place did not have any paper towels or trash bags when we got there. Trista was very responsive and said someone would bring them over but nobody ever did during our stay. The kitchen had cookware but also lacked cooking oil. Extra toilet paper was tucked away in a deep corner of one of the bedroom closets and had to be dug out. Nonetheless the stay was fairly enjoyable and the instructions for checking in were very clear and hassle free. It's in a great location for both skiing at Windham or Hunter.

We stayed for a ski trip to Windham Mountain. House was very close to the mountain and close to the major roads. The neighbors living in the other units were friendly. There is Wifi in the unit, which is great because our AT&T and Verizon phones had no service in the area. There was basic cable as well, great for catching the local news and weather while there. Ate at Hammos Brew Pub, food and beer were great. Host was very responsive.

I've stayed in many Airbnbs before and usually find the kitchen well-stocked and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. This weekend, we had to make a trip to buy basic essentials like garbage bags, cooking oil, soap/shampoo, and toilet paper. In addition, a few of the pots were dirty and there were not even enough bowls to support the five of us. Also plan ahead--there is no cell service in the area.

We had a wonderful time at Mountain Treasure Cottage! We could not even expect that it is going to be one of the best vacations ever! We spent two days with the family of eight people. The house was very comfortable. Two rooms on the second floor, big room on the first floor, very nice and full kitchen, bbq area outside. Nature around is just amazing! 5-10 minutes ride is a lake, hiking trails. The big surprise was Tannersville town which looked like decorations to the fairytale. In case you don't cook at home there are a lot of places to have dinner. Thank you Agnes for having us at your place! We enjoyed it very much!

My family and I had a great time at Mountain treasure Cottage. Agnes was very welcoming and responded quickly to our queries. The cottage is very comfortable and close to Windham Mountain. The kitchen is well stocked, there were fresh towels and plenty of linen. I would recommend it and would go back!

Agnes was the best host we could ask for! She was so kind and inviting. She was prompt in responding to any questions we had about our trip. Her place was the perfect getaway and very well maintained. Hunter and Windham mountains are minutes away for hiking (or on our case snowboarding). Agnes was also close by for anything we needed like directions, so that was a plus. I would highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time at Mountain Treasure Cottage and Agnes and her husband could not have been any better hosts! Traveling with 5 adults and a toddler, there was plenty of space in the spotless house and we enjoyed our evenings grilling on the secluded terrace with the calming rushing of the nearby stream in the background. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the house to anyone wanting to spend some relaxing time in a gorgeous setting with lots of nature activities (great hiking, swimming lakes, waterfalls, and skiing in winter of course) and a choice of good restaurants nearby.

Agnes was very nice and everything was in good shape. The cabin is a cool cozy little place with fun decoration and a small creek running by its side. II would definetly recommend!

A group of friends and I stayed the weekend at this cottage and had such a wonderful time! The house was amazing- cozy, clean, and fully stocked with necessities. We especially loved the wood burning stove and hanging out in the living room, where there was plenty of room to lounge around. It was a 7 minute drive to Windham mountain, which was great. Agnes made the check in process very easy, even though we arrived later than planned. She was helpful and friendly- a great host! We definitely want to go back here next year!

The place was fantastic for our small group of friends on a weekend snowboarding trip to the Catskills. It is clean, cozy and warm, and well set up with a fully stocked kitchen. We especially loved the sauna, which was amazing for sore muscles after a day of shredding. Highly recommended!

We had a great time in Windham. The house is in a great location, only 8-10 minutes away from Windham Mountain. It's spacious and a wonderful getaway for a long weekend.

Excellent, secluded vacation spot for up to four people. The kitchen is well stocked and the hot tub is everything you want it to be. Very close to the towns of Windham and Hunter, restaurants like the Deer Mountain Inn, and hiking spots like Kaaterskill Falls. A great spot for a weekend in the Catskills!

Cassandra was a good host. She was communicative, answered things in a timely manner, and the space was very true to the images. The location was excellent for accessing hikes and activities in the Catskills. And the hot tub was a great thing to come home to! Cassandra and her dog were downstairs during our stay, and while this didn't bother us, it is important to note that you can hear anyone that is downstairs, and therefore the space does feel like it's being shared. Appreciative of Cassandra's generosity in sharing her space, her kitchen, and her yummy homemade granola!

Nice weekend getaway.

Very close to Windham mountain. About a 10 minute car ride. Secluded home that was very clean. Hot tub was great and clean as well. The owner of the home was staying in the apartment downstairs during our stay, but we had no interaction or even saw them. If you're going skiing at Windham, this is the perfect place.

We stayed one night. Windam is a very cute town. The chickens are cute and the apt is clean enough and comfortable. It was available in a pinch which was great! Lots of Christian books everywhere.

And SO close to everything in the gorgeous town of Windham - the restaurants, coffee shops, hikes, attractions, everything. We had a great trip! Initially we were set to stay on the other side of Windham in Jewett at a house we have stayed at for the past 4 years, but it was rented out for the summer from under us. Oh well! i found this listing and asked if it was ok to have an extra kid and have them sleep on the floor and Cynthia had no problem. We actually loved this location over the other one we used to rent. Close enough to ride to the bike store/ice cream shop and the bike path for our kids including our 5 year old. Close enough to ride to the mountain for the annual bike race and a big "park" right next door. the location was perfect and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Cynthia's rental unit. The place is beautifully decorated, much bigger than I'd expected, and full of all the extras you could want, from tea to reading material, cards, etc. Even fresh eggs and freshly baked muffins for breakfast! The only minor detraction was that wifi didn't work - other than that, a completely perfect stay.

I stayed at Nansi's place over the weekend with 8 other girls to celebrate my sister's engagement and we had a wonderful time! Nansi's place is clean and comfortable, with great views. We loved being able to save some money by cooking meals at home in her well-stocked kitchen, and enjoyed having drinks sitting around her fire pit. Communication with Nansi was quick and easy and we were all very comfortable staying there - it was a great getaway! Highly recommended :)

Nansi and her home were fantastic! Nansi was very responsive and helpful through the process and then over the weekend. Our group was 2 families, including 5 kids (ages 4-9). Her home is beautiful with the quaint touches of a wood burning fireplace and wood burning stove along with all the modern amenities you'd want -- comfortable beds, modern kitchen, wifi, and fantastic whole house sound system that integrated with our iPhones. The skiing was very close. The home was easily accessible on a cul de sac so was quiet and our kids enjoyed playing in her large backyard. We look forward to returning soon!

It is cozy and has that warm cabin feel, but with modern amenities (not that we even touched the TV!). Stunning mountain views and a big backyard and deck really make this place outstanding - I'd love to come back!

Nansi's place was wonderful and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. The view was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked. The house was very spacious and it was located very close to the ski resorts. Nansi is a wonderful guest and is very quick to answer any questions.

A very last minute request and host, Nansi, was super accommodating. Her house is such a pleasant, picturesque and quiet spot. Despite a slight water/electric problem that Nansi worked quickly to resolve (immediately calling the plumber to resolve it), it was the perfect Catskills weekend getaway. Conveniently nestled between prime hiking spots and quaint nearby towns, the amenities of the house made us feel like we didn't want to leave. We're already looking to see when we can book our next visit.

8 of my friends and I stayed at Nansi's house in Maplecrest. Her home was absolutely lovely and had everything we would have possibly needed for our weekend getaway. The surrounding area was lovely with many beautiful areas to take walks, hike, etc. We especially enjoyed her spacious backyard, where we enjoyed a beautiful view of the stars each night. Nansi was also very kind and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. I highly recommend her home, you will not be disappointed!

Nansi's house is amazing. Great location on a quiet road and amazing views. Fully stocked kitchen and a great place to entertain. Working fire place and wood burning stove are a great place to hang out at end of the day and relax. Nansi was always available and quick to respond to any questions. 3 bedrooms with a full basement along with linens were provided. Really just an amazing house to get away and relax, with short drives to both Hunter and Windham mountains.

We stayed for one night at Ella. She is a very friendly hostess and gives tips and advice for staying in the region. The premises are in the house of Ella, but abgegrennt thereof. It's all very clean and pure. We felt good. The bed was a bit small but it romantic. We would recommend again.

Ella was a great host. She was incredibly responsive and friendly which made checking in and out super easy. She was also really quick to answer any questions we had. Including where was the best place to go for beginner snowboarding lessons!! The location is perfect for getting both to Windham and Hunter mountain. Will definitely stay here again the next time we go snowboarding!

Ella's apartment was as described, cozy and clean! We were in Windham on one of the most oppressive weeks of the summer, so a fan would be nice in addition to the air conditioner.

The apartment was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed for a snowboard weekend get away. I would definitely recommend and we would definitely come again for another stay. Angela was a wonderful host, and the house and property were beyond our group's expectations! Just beautiful. Upon entering, the energy in the house was immediately warm and cozy. The photos were absolutely accurate, and Angela's notes and tips were very helpful. We cooked, swam, relaxed, and made a fire outside one night. Beautiful rustic but comfortable house with wonderful old details and fun decorations. Nice and well equipped kitchen. Loved the wood stove and the view. Would love to come back in the summer to use the pond.

We shared a house with another family of friends; 4 adults, 3 kids fit very comfortably there. It was hard to get the kids out of the basement / playroom, so enjoyable it was for them. Angela was great, super nice and responsive. The property is gorgeous; pond and the backyard are amazing, and the house had everything we needed and true to the pictures. The fire pit was a nice touch for roasting marshmallows at night. We hiked Kaaterskill Falls train, enjoyed the SkyRide on nearby Windham mountain and went on motor boat ride on the Hudson, all nearby.

Lorraine was great. She had the place warm and ready with scented candles and a gift of wine and cheese and fruit waiting for us. The house was perfect as described. Spacious and in excellent condition. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove, the kitchen island, the excellent netflix and wifi, and the beautiful view. Thank you Lorraine and Richie! Great ski house! It's about 7 minutes from Windham, so it's super convenient. The house itself is great and comfortably fit our party of 8. Its in a stunning location at the top of a hill with a couple ponds, natural stone outcroppings and plenty of areas to hike around. We did face an issue or two which were always addressed by the owner in a timely fashion.

Fantastic stay! Kathy made it super easy. Great cabin, private surrounds, lots of room and beds and close to Windham mountain. Definitely recommend.

Kathy was a great host and pretty much everything you would need was at the place. It is listed for 8, but can definitely fit more with an air mattress or two. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped so you can pack light. Just leave an extra 15 minutes on the way back to drop off garbage and recycling.

Kathy's home in Maplecrest is cozy and clean. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with and was quick to respond with any questions I had. The home is much larger then the pictures. We would recommend this home and will be back again!
