  • My friends and I just returned from the most magical winter weekend at Bethany's cozy, comfy and clean cabin! We all loved the kitchen and playing games in the living room, as well as the beautifully quiet winter setting. It made for the perfect launching spot for a day of wineries, dinner at Arts Tavern in Glen Arbor, and some frosty hiking, too. I can't recommend this cabin getaway enough!!

  • Bethany’s place is pure magic! A cute, quiet place filled with everything you need for a perfect trip to Michigan. My boyfriend and I came to visit during the winter (from Florida) and found ourselves in a winter wonderland. The house is cozy, warm, and you can feel a homey touch everywhere you look. Bethany gave us many tips on where to eat and things to do prior to our arrival, as well as, a handy folder with notes on everything we needed to know. Not having ever dealt with snow before, she made sure to be available by phone or text should we need help getting out prior to the daily snow removal time. She is a wonderful host, and I highly recommend staying in her home.

    Dani2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Far enough out to be private but centrally located to everywhere we wanted to visit. Big snowstorm while we were there and they were completely on top of snow removal. The couple little things we forgot, we found were already there so we didn’t have to make a special trip. Had an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back!

  • This is a special place. Really cozy, lovely area, and peaceful.

This is a beautiful wood yurt with many windows to take in the beautiful view of Spruce Hill Farm, a working goat dairy. On the edge of a woods, it offers privacy and hiking trails. Inside a large skylight and wood stove provide a cozy living space. Set in the center of the Leelanau Peninsula it provides the perfect location for the many attractions in this world famous tourist area. This newly finished wood structure yurt features a beautiful, modern bathroom and a private bedroom with a full bed. There is a full size futon in the main room for extra guests. Privately owned hiking trails are right out the door and offer wonderful walks spring, summer and fall and snowshoeing and cross country skiing all winter.
We are surrounded by spruce trees and deciduous woods and meadows. The yurt is nestled in a maple woods where trillium and other wild flowers abound in the spring. Autumn brings a special beauty to the woods with the smells that accompany falling leaves and wood smoke. Winter is the "prom" for the blue spruce for which the farm is named. Some of them are over 30 feet tall and so beautiful when covered in snow! Of course it is summer when people flock to Leelanau County and it is then when the refuge of the yurt and the quiet farm setting is most welcome. After visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes and the pristine beaches of Lake Michigan come home and relax. But be sure to have a campfire in the fire pit outside and treat yourself to the night sky of Leelanau where as the stars come out you would swear you can pick them! Sleep soundly because the things to do in Leelanau county are endless....
  • Such a fun and peaceful place to stay. We loved it!

    Pat And Craig2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great space in a wonderful location to explore the area or just stay put and relax/unplug. Mary and Dick are wonderful hosts and the farm is a great, quiet spot. The yurt is very comfortable and the windows out onto the surrounding woods are beautiful. No wifi or TV (as noted in the listing) but if you really can't unplug (or need to make a call) cell service in the area is solid. Lots to do nearby including some nice food options, and you can always visit the animals on the farm - they have quite the menagerie of friendly creatures. The trail system is great too. Though there's lots of hiking in the area you can go for a good hike right out the door of the yurt on their very well marked trail system. We definitely hope to return.

  • This was the second anniversary we’ve spent at the Yurt and as we expected it was amazing! The Yurt is always clean, Mary and Dick are amazing hosts, and the farm is still our favorite place ever. We very much look forward to trying our hand at curling and visiting again this summer!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We visited the yurt as a birthday weekend adventure. It was perfect for a winter getaway- cozy and warm with access to great trails right on the property! They even had snowshoes available for us to use while we were there, which was awesome. The yurt itself was so fun and cozy. I enjoyed keeping warm by the fire all weekend and the woodpile was very well-stocked. We could tell that everything in the yurt was chosen by love and care and we really enjoyed all the little extra details like the amazing goat cheese they left for us and the fun games stocked up for us to play and all the woodsy, artful decor. The beds are in great shape too, very comfortable. When we arrived, Mary came down very quickly to pick us up. We trusted that if they said we couldn’t drive up, we couldn’t and they were right of course! It was nice to have Mary drive us up though because we got to meet her and she answered any questions we had. We met Dick and their pups the next day and he showed us the goats and a couple other things around the farm. Two very lovely hosts with great stories too! Really can’t say enough good things about this location, it was exactly what we were looking for and even a couple of things we didn’t know we were looking for!

    Sarah2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at the yurt and we will definitely be back again! It has become our family's favorite winter escape. Mary and Dick are incredible hosts and two of the most interesting and delightful people you'll ever meet. Everything about our stay was so wonderful. We already can't wait to return!

    Molly2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very unique stay with everything you need for a comfy, cozy getaway. Mary & Dick are such wonderful hosts. They were very quick to respond with any questions we had. They welcomed us up at the farm and we were able to meet the goats and Chief the horse. We will definitely be back as I would love to venture the many trails they have.

    Kim2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fun place in a great location! Compact but comfortable and efficient layout. Great hosts!

    Ethan2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our experience at the yurt. Beautiful, clean, wonderful hospitality, and such a unique experience! Mary was extremely welcoming and kind. The only thing is I would research how to use a woodstove if you don't know how -- we struggled a bit with it!

  • Ellen and Cris have an amazing place! We will definitely be back! You won’t find a better Airbnb with more thoughtful touches than this one!

    Kyle2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the location -- quiet, tucked away in the woods, midway between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We also enjoyed the hosts' hospitality and the basket of breakfast foods set outside our door each morning. We made good use of the games and DVDs available in the suite.

    Eve2019-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay at Cris and Ellen’s place. The bed was SO comfortable (I don’t usually sleep well in new beds!), yummy breakfast (it was placed outside my door in a cute basket each morning), really clean, nice towels. They are lovely hosts - were quick to respond when I had questions and were even thoughtful in suggesting I take a walk through their property and see the fall colors (which I did and it was incredible!). They also invited me to enjoy an outdoor fire one evening (so sweet!) though I was unable to join. So all in all the best of hosts - friendly and available but also let you do your own thing and aren’t intrusive at all. Thank you both!

    Brooke2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect. This was our first Airbnb stay, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The location was perfect-short drive from Lake Michigan beaches, neighboring towns, and larger cities. We were greeted by Ellen who was full of wonderful recommendations on sites to see and places to eat. The breakfast left for us each morning was such a nice treat. The ‘room’ was spacious, comfortable, and had every amenity one would expect from a hotel. The stories and recommendations from Cris were wonderful. Ellen and Cris have set the bar high for all other Airbnb stays. We look forward to another trip to the Cedar area, and we will definitely try to book with them again. We HIGHLY recommend staying with Ellen and Cris!

    Justin2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen is a wonderful host, great accommodations, lovely breakfast basket prepared each a.m. The tall pine filled area is grand and convenient to # of areas like Sleepy Bear Dunes and even Traverse City for ex. We so enjoyed seeing the special type chickens and roosters of Chris's. We were 100% pleased. Definitely recommend.

  • This cabin was perfect! The location was perfect- very quiet and so beautiful. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Very stylish, charming, and modern decor. The bedroom with the twin beds was super cute and the bathroom was up to date. The water pressure was good in the shower and the heated floors were very nice. The beds were very comfy and warm but the slippery comforter caused the blankets to keep slipping off but that was just a minor annoyance. Overall the house was on the colder/drafty side so I do recommend packing warm sleeping clothes for the fall/winter months (and warm clothes in general if you plan on spending a lot of time in the house). The fireplace and the warms beds did a good enough job keeping us warm while we slept. We made sure to keep the bedroom doors open so that the warmth from the fireplace could get in. My 6YO daughter thought the backyard was so cool and we would have spent more time out there had it not been so wet. We got out quite a bit to explore the area but it was pretty cold so we do plan to come back in a warmer season so we can enjoy even more of the outdoors. But the surroundings this time of year were just beautiful!! Just a heads up in case you bring back leftovers from a restaurant- there is no microwave. The other amenities in the kitchen were definitely enough but plan to do dishes by hand as their was no dishwasher (not a big deal to us at all). We really appreciated Victoria and Matt's flexibility with check in/check out times as well as their tips on local spots. We enjoyed Cherry Republic and Little Traverse Inn and also got pizza from Bear Paw market one night. There is 1 or 2 games and a TON of books.

  • Both myself & my friend had the same review: this is the first Airbnb that so exceeded the photos & description. You really can't underestimate the charm & comfort of this cabin. Its so lovely and relaxing. The beds are comfy & the cabin cozy. It is centrally located making it easy to get around. The amenities are great. Everything we needed was accounted for. It even had decent knives for food prep! I only wish I could have stayed longer.

    Sarah2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable cozy cabin in the woods! It’s very peaceful and a perfect landing spot if you’re traveling around Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes and otherwise around Northern MI. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and we loved warming up by the fireplace in the evenings. Victoria and Matt provided maps, information on the area, suggestions for restaurants and anything else you might want to know. We had a lovey relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.

    Valerie2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely cabin is amazing, welcoming and we had all what we needed. It was a great experience in the perfect location. Victora and Matt are great hosts.

  • We loved our stay! It was the perfect little place to come home to after exploring the area for the day. The close access to Glen Arbor, Leland, and beautiful beaches cannot be beat. We also took advantage of the Heritage Bike trail nearby for gorgeous evening rides. A lovely quiet retreat- we hope to return.

Cozy lower level apartment with it's own private entrance. Recently remodeled kitchen and spacious bedrooms make it a great place to stay for your "up north" getaway. Situated just outside the quaint village of Cedar, (the heart of Leelanau County) the property gives privacy while overlooking the Cedar valley. Centrally located between Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.
Tastefully decorated rooms and breathtaking view make this a great vacation destination.
Centrally located between Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, you are a short drive away from all types of activities and restaurants.
  • I and my husband, as well as our adult daughter and her boyfriend stayed at Cedar Valley View the weekend before Christmas. We were thrilled with the guest house - it was very spacious (even with two Golden Retrievers in tow), sparkling clean, and had many nice touches and Michigan decor that we truly appreciated. Not to mention the view was incredible - especially and sunrise, which was so still and serene, I could have stayed much longer just to enjoy it! Andrew & Dustin live upstairs and were very quiet - we hardly knew they were there. The location, though we chose it due to proximity to my family home, is fantastic and centrally located for anyone wanting to spend time exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. Andrew and Dustin's pup will visit the area, and is very accustomed to strange dogs so there was never any concern to have the dogs out together. Good wifi connection, Apple TV and spacious kitchen. We hope to come back in the summer!

  • A great place to stay in northern Michigan. Really close to Sleeping Bear and Traverse City.

    Lois2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here with our dog and 9 month old baby. It was perfectly private, you’d never know that they were upstairs! Great location, close to TC and other fun little towns to explore. Andrew was fast to reply and gave us suggestions for places to eat. We will be back!

    Lisa2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous view from a private, clean, and very comfortable apartment in beautiful Northern Michigan. We watched the Michigan game on TV, grilled salmon, the kids gathered apples, the dog wandered the meadow, and we all made wonderful memories as a family here. A+!

    Seth2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful, quiet place to enjoy a relaxing time. The pictures don't do it justice - it's such a wonderful place. Andrew and Dustin were great and Russ was very cute and entertaining. It's very clean and close enough to everything without being in the middle of everything. A great place to tackle visits to wineries, great restaurants, Sleeping Bear and the wonderful businesses and shops in Cedar. It's a must stay the next time we get back to the area.

    Rose Ann2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect place to spend a busy weekend! Not a detail was missed in this impeccably spotless home! Decorated to the max and so cannot comfortable! We are new to Airbnb’s and Andrew has set the standards quite high! We will be back to visit again when we can truly enjoy the area but it certainly was a amazing place to crash after a really busy wedding weekend! 5 stars is not enough! Thank you Andrew for a wonderful weekend and as I said in my note I thought I was posting (not always the brightest light) my day boy disappointment was not meeting Russ! Thank you so much! Your place was much better then I even dreamed it would be!

    Cheryl2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Much nicer than the pictures. Large and clean living space and beautiful view. Perfect setting for unwinding.

    Gina2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Dustin are really kind hosts and were quick to respond to any needs we had, including going out of their way to offer us help when our car had mechanical issues. Their place was in a great location for day trips in northern Michigan for our family of six. The view from the backyard was beautiful, the quiet was wonderful and their adorable dog, Russ, just added to our enjoyable stay!

Private, separate-from-main-house bedroom suite with full bath in the heart of Leelanau County and surrounded by hundreds of acres of tranquility. We are located on a secondary road, favored by cyclists for its winding beauty and open pastureland. It is perfect for one or two people looking for a centrally located, comfortable, affordable, clean and quiet spot from which to explore Traverse City, Leelanau County, Old Mission Peninsula and beyond.
Your Guest Room is located in a separate building on my three-acre farmlette. Everything is new, completely and totally up-to-code and with the amenities of a cozy and comfortable hotel room, including a very comfortable queen-sized bed and a full bath with a huge shower and full-length mirror. It has heat and air and we’ve equipped your room with a counter with a bar sink, a small fridge, a coffee maker, basic cutlery, cutting board, glasses and dishes for take out or making sandwiches, etc. I provide coffee, cream, and sugar, towels, soaps, toilet paper, tissues, pillows and bed linens. Your bikes and kayaks can be stored in our pole barn. I also provide several yogurts, juices, cereal and milk to get you started on your first morning. Our water -- in spite of being well-water -- is excellent. In fact, most of Leelanau County has very good tasting water. You'll not need to bring bottled water. It should be noted that we are METICULOUS about cleaning (we have very good reviews about cleanliness.) We will take every precaution to assure that your room has been cleaned with products that kill 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. We wash the floor with a bleach solution and will wipe all surfaces, including door knobs. Your sheets and towels will have been washed in hot water using perfume-free detergent. We never mix our personal laundry with our AirBnB laundry. In between guests, we air the room out, opening windows and doors and with the ceiling fan on high. Cleanliness is our highest priority. Please know that our guest room is not equipped for cooking and we do not allow cooking in the room. And, because Leelanau County is often under a fire restriction, we cannot allow grilling or fireworks on the property. Fortunately, there are a lot of great eateries around, so you'll have no shortage of delicious food. Also, we absolutely do not allow pets. And, finally, the room may be used only by those who have booked it; it is not designed to be a spill-over place for cottagers who need a place for unexpected guests to flop (happened once and I had a parade of strangers in and out for three days!) This is also not a space or property designed to be a gathering destination for friends or family who may live locally or also be staying in the area. Thanks for understanding!
There are only 14 homes on our two mile stretch of road. Cedar and Maple City are only three miles away, so forgotten necessities are easily picked up.
  • Mary is a wonderful host, she was very attentive and helped me along the way with any questions I had. Her place is GREAT! The perfect spot for a couple exploring the beautiful area of Leelanau county. It's a must! The Guest Room was thoughtfully designed, decorated, and so peaceful with great amenities. Thanks again, Mary!

    Danylle2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Guest Room is really more of freestanding, private little guest house separated from Mary’s home. It is small and spotless, tasteful and well equipped. It is situated perfectly for day trips in any direction - Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear or Traverse City! All are short trips from the Guest Room. We had high winds and some rain which made the fabulous views even more dramatic!

  • Mary was a great host! She was very prompt with responding to questions I had. Her place was super cute, cozy & clean. It was great to get away from electronic distractions & enjoy the area. I really enjoyed not having a TV & alarm clock; it helped you relax more; we did pack some card games to play during our stay. *for those of you needing internet- the cell service is great so you could use your phone as a hot spot.* Mary gave us some fantastic suggestions for food & local attractions. Thank you Mary!!!

  • One word, PERFECT. This was the perfect location, central to everything we wanted to see. The setting was perfect, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary. Definately recommend!

    Anne2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's place is well-situated for exploring the area, and is very thoughtfully designed. Had a great stay.

    Anne2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Though it feels like you’re out in the country, you’re close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Easy to reach from main roads, though you might want to plan your arrival before dark, just to insure you find it easily. GPS works perfectly. Mary is a great host. Very cozy room with many little extra touches, from the breakfast goodies to the very tasteful choice of bed and bath linens. I’d certainly return.

Stay at our classic, tiny log cabin from the 1940s. Originally the front office for the log cabin retreats on Glen Lake, more recently this was 'Grandpa's Little Cabin', providing decades of family memories. Located across from Old Settler's Park, it is situated in a beautiful, woodsy surrounding, with the benefits of the park's dock access and sunset views. Located just a short drive from Glen Arbor, The Dunes and all that Leelanau offers. Come see Up North as it was originally intended.
This is a classic, rustic log cabin from the 1940s. It was originally part of a group of log cabins that were a resort on Big Glen Lake. All cabins are now privately owned. The inviting, charming, quirky and quiet space will provide a backdrop for many memories at the lake, while filling many with the nostalgia of childhood summers. The sleeping porch and living room are perfect shared spaces for your stay, whether it be evenings together or relaxing after a day at the beach. There is a gas fireplace to help take the chill out of those colder Northern Michigan nights. In the master bedroom, there is a queen bed. Other sleeping options include a futon on the sleeping porch and a sofa bed in the living room. While sleeping on the porch, it is not unusual to hear a loon on the lake or the coyotes in the woods. Can be booked with neighboring cabin for larger groups. This space is best suited for 4, but can accommodate 6 people in a cozy setting. Please note that after October 1, this cabin is likely more suitable for 4 guests only as the sleeping porch may or may not have weather comfortable for sleeping.
The neighborhood has a mix of seasonal properties and year long residents of the area. It is quiet and friendly. The cabin is on a woodsy lot and sits across the street from a public park with dock access to Big Glen Lake. The fine restaurants and delicious ice cream of Burdickville are just a short walk down the road.
  • Great location across from a beautiful park and the lake. Cozy cabin and centrally located to easily see all of beautiful Leelanau County. Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen and bathroom.

    Eve2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Location: The recreation park right across the cabin and the views from the dock were just breathtaking. The sleeping bear dunes scenic drive is only 15 mins away. Traverse city is 35 mins and Glenn Arbor is only 15 mins. Responsiveness: Heidi was quick to respond to any queries on local restaurants and getaways Clean and cute: The whole place was sparkling clean. The log cabin was spacious and cute. Would love to visit again.

  • The cabin is kept clean and organized, it is a very small and has a bit of an awkward layout but has everything you need for an up north getaway. It is in a perfect spot away from busy areas but so close to all of our favorite spots along M22

Location is key. If you want to enjoy Sleeping Bear Dunes, beautiful Leelanau County and all the fun and activities of Traverse City, this is the place to stay. We are central to all these places and yet secluded, quiet, roomy and very comfortable.
Sunrise Creek is a 1000 sq. ft. apartment that is completely private from our home. It includes private entrance, full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, large bathroom, bedroom with queen size bed and closet. .
  • Read the reviews, they speak the truth. I thought this was a lovely place and I was very comfortable. So comfortable I didn't want to leave!

  • Perfect weekend getaway in a perfect location, we had an amazing time during our stay.

  • Patricia and David we're amazing hosts. The place was beautiful and a great price! We will definitely be booking with them next time we are in town. If we could give them 10 stars we would!

    Katie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Another wonderful stay at Sunset Creek! This is our go-to spot whenever we are in the TC area — quiet, comfortable, away from the hustle and bustle but just a short drive from anywhere we might like to visit. Dave and Pat are amazing and thoughtful hosts — can’t say enough great things about staying with them!

    Bethany2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and Dave are truly wonderful hosts!! We slept so soundly and had such a nice time on our adventures in Northern Michigan knowing that we had a safe, quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed place to come back to. It almost felt like staying at a family member's place, and was so accessible and welcoming. There is convenient parking and a separate entrance, and privacy is abundant. Every single corner of Sunrise Creek was spotless and well-maintained. Seriously -- anything you could ask for was placed intuitively and within easy reach, and felt so homey. We really appreciated the granola bars, coffee, and OJ, as well as the shampoo and soaps (we forgot ours)! Instructions, maps, and suggestions for activities/dining/drinking were thoughtfully laid out. The home and gardens are absolutely lovely, and the property is only about a 3-minute drive to the town of Cedar. We were attending multiple events between Glen arbor, Suttons Bay, and Traverse City proper, and found that we were only 15-18 minutes from each of those locations, as well as the beach! Maple City is a very close stop for breakfast, as well. Cedar is a charming area with an array of shops and this wonderful apartment was a PERFECT "home base" for the weekend. Even if you didn't have a schedule to keep, the environment on the property and the wonderful landscaping would make it a great place to hang out all day. We look forward to another stay in Cedar in our future!

  • Patricia and David's place was great. It is in a great location within 20 minutes of pretty much any place in the Traverse City area. They were easy to communicate with. Check-in was smooth and the place was clean and perfect for what we needed. Spacious bathroom and a nice living area. We would come back here anytime.

    Christian2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit with Pat and Dave. We loved every minute! This air bnb is very clean, quiet, and met all of our needs for our stay. We come to the area each July and this location is great. It’s a short distance to Traverse, the dunes, and multiple beaches. In cedar, we enjoyed the Ice cream shop and restaurant (can’t remember its name... but it was called the cedar tavern possibly). We would love to stay here again next year if we are able to get away without our little one.

  • Grace's Chalet is in the heart of Leelanau County. Our family enjoyed our Valentine's Weekend skiing both downhill and cross country, snowboarding, tubing, curling and enjoying great nearby restaurants. Grace was always available to reply to any question we had.

  • A quiet and convenient location with a homey feel, good coffee, and lots of sleeping space for guests. We snowshoed Sleeping Bear dunes one day and visited TC another. Less than 30 min away for each. We used the fire stick for TV and movies to relax and cooked breakfast in the kitchen. Overall a great stay!

It was also plenty warm, but we appreciated that there was also a space heater and lots of extra blankets available. We were within a 20 minute drive of Sleeping Bear, and Heidi had lots of useful information about local trails, activities, and restaurants. Read the recommendations section of the listing and reviews by prior guests for great ideas of places to visit and good places to eat! I've received feedback that some of my guests were surprised at the condition of the Sugar Loaf Resort next to the condos. We agree. It's sad. The resort hasn't operated for 18 years . It shows the neglect. We're excited it has a new owner. He promises to bring it back and make it a going concern in the next three years. While we wait to see what the resort will become, you can enjoy the condo and Leelanau!
  • Very nice, freshly remodeled and clean place in a somewhat remote area, right between Traverse City and Big Bear Dunes. Mary is a very responsive host, everything was perfectly organised. Would come again any time.

At the Dune Climb, please park in the row furthest from the dunes with your headlights facing M-109. Overflow parking, within easy walking distance to the Dune Climb, is in the Great Lakes Picnic Area. The picnic area entrance is located just south of the entrance to the Dune Climb. Follow the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail from the parking area to the Dune Climb. Volunteers will be assisting with parking at both locations. All sky programs offered by the National Lakeshore are free. Participants need only have the park entrance pass or have an annual pass displayed in their vehicle to join in the fun. Programs will be cancelled if the sky is not visible due to weather conditions. The decision to cancel is usually made two hours in advance. For all evening astronomy events, bring a flashlight for the walk back to your car and bug spray, if needed. You are welcome to bring your own binoculars, beach chairs, and blankets for a more comfortable experience, and water is always recommended for National Park Service (NPS) programs. Park rangers and GTAS staff will wear red glow necklaces or bracelets at the events. There will be prospects for star-gazing, meteor showers, solar viewing, storytelling, and more. Starry night skies and natural darkness are important components of the special places the National Park Service protects. National parks enclose some of the last remaining harbors of darkness in America and provide an excellent opportunity to experience this endangered resource firsthand. So visit the National Lakeshore and enjoy the following celestial summer events: These events are the perfect opportunity to “Find Your Park” in the stars. Starry night skies and natural darkness are important components of the special places the NPS protects. Adorable two bedroom above-garage apartment in beautiful Leelanau County, right in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Set back on 10 wooded acres and right on Shetland Creek, this location is perfect for an up north getaway! Close to wineries, golf courses with Lake Michigan, Lime Lake and Little Traverse Lake all right nearby. Just a short drive to Glen Arbor and Leland. The Heritage Trail is also down the road. Spend the day exploring then relax by the creek in the evening with a glass of wine!
This adorable apartment is brand new and located above our garage. It has it's own entrance through the garage so you won't have to come into the house. It has a full kitchen and it's own bathroom along with living space and two bedrooms. There is a tv with a Roku and DVD player if you would like to enjoy any tv/movies. The house sits right on a beautiful creek where you can dip your toes to cool off in the summer or watch the salmon spawn in the fall. You are more than welcome to enjoy the porch, the hammock, the patio by the water and the property. There is a trail loop through the woods. There is also paved parking. We are right across the street from an Arnold Palmer designed golf course called Manitou Passage. We are also just a few miles from some of the best beaches Michigan has to offer. There are also plenty of smaller lakes and rivers for boating, kayaking or paddling. You can also find plenty of trails nearby for hiking, biking and running. If you are looking a little more excitement, Traverse City is only 18 miles away.
Our house is a half mile into the woods down a dirt road and dirt driveway. It is secluded with very few neighbors and surrounded by trees. The road itself is a beautiful walk or short run. We are also about a mile from scenic M-22 and are essentially right in the middle of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
  • We had such a great experience at Sara and Rob's place — what a find! The apartment was great, communication was great, and the setting was out of this world awesome. We came up to a winter wonderland. I imagine this place is awesome in the summer, too, but definitely a great place for winter travellers looking to relax.

  • What a perfect airbnb space in such a serene, wooded location!

    Melanie2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot for a quiet get away up north. Quick drives to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and all the surrounding Traverse City area. Our pup was thrilled to be able to join us, and really enjoyed the walks along the long wooded drive. If you’re looking for off the beaten path, look no further. Sara was super responsive and was an awesome host!

    Greg2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very beautiful, clean, and has an incredible garden by the river. I would strongly recommend to get to the place during day hours since it gets really tricky to get to the location at night because the house is hidden among trees and narrow paths. (Which btw make of this host special and beautiful)

    Rodrigo2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Clean two bedroom apartment. Thoughtfully decorated. Easy check in and out.

  • This space was so lovely. We hosted some family out of town and were able to see the beautiful fall colors, go to the beach, do a couple of hikes, visit fish town all while making the good harbor house our home base. We loved staying here. It was perfect for meal sharing and family time.

  • Very clean and cute house, we were in the area for a wedding and the location was great. We shared the house with 2 other couples and we were all very pleased with it. Beds are very comfortable and the house is very clean. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Ashley and Caleb are great host.

  • Marilyn's sweet little cabin is clean, full of nice touches and centrally located. She provides a nice selection of organic soaps and teas which was very helpful. I have stayed here before and hope to again!

    Megan2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Just spent a cozy weekend at Marilyn's place. Just as described! Perfect location to explore the beauty of the area. We were greeted with a house tour and flowers on the table. Comfortable space and delicious coffee. Highly recommend if you're looking for peaceful escape.

  • This is our third stay with Marilyn. We love staying at her cottage for many reasons. It's extremely peaceful and cozy with thoughtful touches and artwork throughout. It's a wonderful value in a high demand area. It's super clean. The location is central for all sorts of adventures on the peninsula. Most importantly, it feels like home. Marilyn is an exceptional and lovely host that goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and cared for. Thanks again!!

    Marsha2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Private, secluded, clean, and cozy are how I would describe this cottage. We had all we needed and I loved the porch space and picnic table outside. There were so many thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and good coffee. It is located close to many sights and the area is beautiful. Thank you Marilyn!

    Amanda2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Hard to even find the words to describe how beautiful this little cottage in the woods is. It is an absolutely perfect place to get away from everyday hectic life.

    Jane2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is the quietest and most peaceful place we have ever stayed in, and we have been coming up north to the Leelanau area for more than 40 years. Marilyn is a gracious and kind host, patiently answering all of our questions. The house is so thoughtfully decorated with lovely works of art. It is a wonder that the kitchen has everything you need, given its size, but it does! The grounds are so beautiful and create such a tranquil and relaxing setting to simply be. We will return!

The house had a big mud room to store the bikes, which was great. It was very clean had everything we needed. Rob was a great host, and I’d definitely return!

  • Taylor’s cozy Airbnb is great to stay at if you’re looking for a longer stay or a weekend getaway! This was my first time booking an Airbnb and I’m happy this was my first experience. There is plenty of space, especially for just two people like my partner and I and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The green view from the back is amazing. The little barn kitty Brunie is very sweet as well. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to spend sometime at the Dunes or Traverse City, both were incredibly easy to get to driving wise. Smooth back roads and easy to navigate via GPS. :)

    Hayley2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Taylor’s place is a peaceful oasis. The apartment is private, clean, and full of interesting books, music, and art work. We stayed there while visiting Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. It was great to retreat to a quiet location after a day full of activities and sight seeing. We strongly recommend Taylor’s place.

    Peggy2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful place to stay! The accommodations were lovely and scrupulously clean; the king bed was extremely comfortable, the bath towels were huge and the kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and glasses. The farm was beautiful and quiet and the people we met there were friendly and helpful. Because the farm is away from ambient light, the night sky is lit with thousands of stars. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly return.

    Jodi2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent value for the money. Most accommodations in the area, at the end of July, are usually double or triple what Taylor is charging. Close to everything we wanted to visit. Taylor is an excellent host, attentive to your needs, and very quick on replying. Brunie, the barn cat, was also a nice vacation companion, while we had to leave our own cats at home for the week. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely look this place up again.

    Preston2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place to stay while visiting the dunes and traverse city. The property was peaceful and unique. Taylor was very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond with communications and Brunie the cat was a very friendly and happy to greet us whenever we’d arrive from our day trips :)

  • J2 Farms is amazing!! James and Julie are incredible hosts! The space is warm, stylish and very clean! It’s a beautiful humble abode away from home. We enjoyed snow shoeing around their property and playing with the animals! They add so many personal touches to make your stay unforgettable! I highly recommend this Airbnb...you won’t regret it!

  • Julie’s place is a little piece of heaven. My husband and I were able to relax and rest during our stay. The house and suite are lovely, we hope to come back this spring. If you’re looking for a quiet and well equipped spot to retreat from the hustle of life this place is it.

  • This was my first air bnb, and was a great experience, thanks to Julie and James. The place was neat and clean. Julie surprised us with some local treats, and milk. We enjoyed snowshoeing around the property, and visiting with the animals. Thanks again!

  • There’s good hosts. There’s great hosts. And then there’s Julie and James at J2 Farm. My wife and I have been fortunate to stay with many terrific hosts in the past, however Julie and James have set a new standard in hospitality and warmth. Going beyond the beautiful accommodations, the quaint farm lifestyle that they have shaped for themselves is inspiring and we are so happy to have had an opportunity to experience it with them. Don’t miss out.

    John2019-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely space and location! Julie and James were fantastic and welcoming hosts - warm, responsive, and super helpful. We had an assortment of delicious homemade treats awaiting us when we arrived, and the guest suite itself was clean, beautiful, and comfortable - a great place to pass some peaceful, snowy days over New Year's. We would love to visit again and can't recommend this lovely retreat highly enough!

    Whitney2019-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Easily one of the best airbnb experiences we've ever had! Thank you so much to Julie and her family for hosting us. We felt so comfortable staying here, and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit - from sharing all of the fresh cheeses and creams at breakfast to to staying in the modern & stylish guest suite. The location is perfect too if you're looking to explore everything the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer. Highly recommended!

    Tom2018-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! Julie and James were so gracious in welcoming our family into their world for the weekend. Their guest house is modern, comfortable, and fit our family of four quite well. The boys loved sleeping in the loft and Rosie is their new favorite dog. Julie welcomed us with delicious treats (including cheese and cream from their animals) and James let us tag along during farm chores one morning. Can’t recommend J2 farms enough!

  • Bonnie's place is terrific! Impeccably clean (and I have stayed in MANY different cottages in this area for the past 58 years...), spacious, quiet, peaceful, comfortable, very well-stocked kitchen, and extremely comfortable beds! We spent most days out and about (Bonnie's place is convenient to everything--Maple City, Glen Arbor, Old Settlers picnic area, and Sleeping Bear Dunes), but it was wonderful to return to such a comfortable and tidy place. One evening we grilled fresh whitefish (from Carlson's in Leland--highly recommend!) and had a lovely dinner on the deck under the pines. When we thought we lost our key one evening, Bonnie was very gracious and quick to reply to us and help us out. (Turns out we found the key in our car...) A wonderful place to stay!!

    Maureen2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Bonnie's place is perfect for your Michigan getaway. The firepit, the grill, and it's placed just far enough off the road to be surrounded by trees...it really lets you enjoy the Michigan feel, while being so close to the lake. Bonnie was a super host- making sure we had everything we needed. I also love how environmentally conscious she is- and asks her guests to be just as aware- Love it!

    Katherine2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bonnie's place, which was, clean, comfortable, and well appointed for the four of us. Everything worked well and met our needs. She has clearly been very thoughtful in providing for her guests, from the pots and pans to the bundle of split wood. We particularly liked having campfires in the back and grilling and eating out at the table under the pines. Bonnie is a warm, welcoming host and I enjoyed our exchanges. Her neighbors, Beth and Marv, are also quite friendly, adding to our sense of being welcome.

    David2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • My husband, 2 kids and I had a great time at Bonnie’s place! She was very thoughtful to leave us a little care package when we arrived. She was also very responsive when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We cooked in her kitchen many times and roasted marshmallows outside at the fire pit. The lake is very close by, we had a blast renting a boat. The water at Glen Lake is so clear! Highly recommend staying at this cottage. We would definitely come back!

  • Our family of 4 was looking for a nice place to stay in but also within good distance to explore Traverse City and it was perfect. Very quiet and cozy. We loved the time spent there and would stay there again without hesitation. We also left two baby towels and they were very helpful with that by mailing them back to us which we really appreciated!

  • Excellent host, excellent space, excellent location. The internet is strong enough for video games on rainy days or late nights!

  • Quiet location on golf course. Great for running/walks in morning. Good location to hit sleeping bear dunes area and traverse city.

  • My family and I had a wonderful stay. Great, clean space full of amenities. Thank you!

  • This is an awesome place nicely situated between Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. Also, the place was located on the golf course and we had a great time walking every morning on the paved walkways of the golf course and enjoy the morning sun rise. As usual, apply mosquito repellants as you are in the woods. Also, to our surprise, we enjoyed the private planes landing in and taking off several times a day. I would definitely stay here if I visit this part of the state again in the future.

  • We loved sitting in the family room reading and looking out at the lake. We had a reunion at Glen Lake and Lakes End was a good place to go for quiet time or play board games. The other reviews gave us insight about what to expect, so Lakes End met our expectations.

  • Tammy's place was a great little home located right on Little Traverse Lake. It was a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is where we spent most of the weekend. Very clean, and super easy check in and check out. I will definitely keep her place in mind for future northern Michigan trips!

    Christopher2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great views and location .. perfect if you are looking for a calm and peaceful stay away from the busy city. It’s a cozy place with all basic amenities .. love the lake views especially during sunrise. The owner was helpful and guided us even late evening when we needed some wood to setup the bon fire. Great value for the price being paid .. there is no dishwasher at the place but that’s no big deal compared to all the other wonderful things about this place.

    Sree2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lake's End is a sweet place with all we (two couples and a teen) needed for our weekend. It is a nice place away from the hustle and bustle. We loved that our dogs were allowed and could play in and around the water. The communication with Tammy was quick and helpful. There was no long list of do's and don'ts and we knew how to reach her if we needed her. Lake's End made for a very enjoyable weekend getaway.

Very clean Itaska Cambria 29 foot Class C motorhome. RV is located on part of a wonderful, 10 acre home site. Located in the heart of Leelanau County, Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore is 20 minutes to the west and Traverse City is 15 minutes east. A full bathroom and washer/dryer are located in the adjacent pole barn. Free firewood is on site and a gas grill.
I have lived on this 10 acre home site since 2002. The RV is super clean and parked next to a very large pole barn with a separate bath, sitting/reading room and washer/dryer.
We are located in Leelanau County. Traverse City is 15 minutes to the east. Sleeping Bear National Park is 20 minutes to the West. Lakes and beaches are everywhere! This is a Michigan paradise!
  • Cam’s place exceeded all our expectations. He was quick to reply and took into account down to the smallest detail (Like supplying a dog bowl and bed) without even asking. I would highly recommend his place for a stay during a visit to the Traverse City/Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Thanks again for an awesome visit! Ann & 🐶

  • Great place to stay! A TON of space with great amenities! Everything was very clean and offered a lot of thoughtful touches (marshmallows sticks, mini personal hygiene products, extra blankets/pillows, personalized welcome signs). Loved all of the homey touches/decorations as well in both the RV and the bonus room. Will definitely stay again anytime we are in the area!

  • Thank you very much for our stay in the RV! It was truly wonderful! From the moment we drove in the driveway we felt exceptionally welcomed. The RV was very clean and well-ordered for a guest. It was the perfect space for two people. The surrounding space including the lawn, concrete, parking pad and pole barn were exceptionally clean. It was decorated in a way to be warm and inviting. Details were taken care of, right down to marshmallow roasting sticks. Several family members came down to personally greet us, to include restocking firewood. They gave great tips to local attractions and places of interest. Cameron, thank you, thank you, thank you. .

  • This was better than the listing. So clean and many extras in case you forgot your things at home. Communication was fantastic and couldn’t have asked for a better setting. It was more private than we thought and the shower and bathroom area were great. We will definitely stay again.

Separate, very private & quiet garage studio apartment on small, working farm. Wifi, Streaming Smart TV, A/C, full kitchen and bath; ideal for a couple or group of 3 (about 400 sq feet). Lake Michigan only 6 miles away, hiking, vineyards, wine, bike trails, kayaking, and all that Leelanau county has to offer within a 15-30 minute drive. Farm to table restaurants, microbreweries, hard cider, wine and local cheese makers are a foodies paradise. Experience the unspoiled beauty of this region!
The studio was built in 2015 for my mom who spent 3 summers with me. She no longer spends the summer here, so I decided to share this unique and private space. The studio has a full kitchen and bath, a queen sized bed, air conditioning and is centrally located in Leelanau county. All linens are new and refreshed between visitors, and the space is very quiet. You do need to climb a flight of stairs to reach the studio, so please consider this before booking.
I love living in Leelanau county and Maple City because of the unspoiled beauty, abundance of things to do, and the proximity to Lake Michigan and several other inland lakes. It's rural, scenic with an incredible landscape that varies from beaches to vineyards to farms, and hosts a welcoming, friendly group of locals who are so grateful to have the summer visitors each year.
  • Very impressive! Clean, cozy, and welcoming space with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Warm and thoughtful hospitality; very responsive. Convenient location for tourist destinations. An all around gem.

  • Adorable place! Very clean, quick response to messages and a great location. Loved having a private entrance and quiet space. Enjoyed our stay so much and hope to come back soon.

  • Had an amazing stay!!! Andria was very helpful with suggestions and the place was just what we needed. Quaint, quiet and very peaceful. She also makes and sells her own candles, which smell amazing! We will definitely be back!!

    Jamie2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend this place. First off it's pretty centrally located which, for us, was an important asset. Andria the host does such a great job making you feel at home! The place itself has a very cozy farmhouse/bohemian feel that is clean. She does her best to provide you with what you need like maps to places around the area, wifi passwords, tv w/Netflix and Hulu, kitchen utensils and cooking needs, extra towels and blankets, and even small hotel style soaps. Then on top of that she gives you farm fresh eggs and jam from her farm and there was a welcome letter on the fridge w/a printout of the weather while we were there. I couldn't say one bad thing about this place!

    Nichol2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Words can’t describe this magic little Studio in the heart of Leelanau. A gem! Andria is a wonderful host and everything is exactly as described in the listing! I am already checking my calendar for next year! We will be back!

    Martina2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place exceeded my expectations. Check-in was a breeze and the studio was cute, roomy and VERY clean. It had all the amenities you could think of. Andria even left us fresh farm eggs and jam! I would definitely recommend this place. It was a great value, out of the main tourist area but only about 25 minutes from Traverse City or Sleeping Bear Dunes in Glen Arbor. We will stay again if we come back to the area!

    Ashley2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Andria was an outstanding host! Not only was the loft/studio super clean, updated and comfortable, but her personal touches to her guests were very thoughtful! We were able to enjoy complimentary farm fresh eggs and homemade jam! We were looking for a central location in the leelanau area to take in as many sites, hikes and attractions as we could without having to drive too far. We are so glad we found her home. We highly recommend staying with her!

    Alyssa2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment above the garage was a really fantastic getaway. It is a convenient location for getting around the area, and the apartment itself is well-appointed, beautifully built and decorated, very comfortable, and private. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed to cook and store leftovers, and everything was clean and quiet. The farm setting is very calming and Andria is a welcoming and very friendly host. We definitely did not want to leave!

  • Tammy's place was a great spot to get away up North. It was about a 10-12 minute drive to Fish Town, 20 minute drive to Sutton's Bay and 15 minutes to downtown Glen Arbor. Watching the sunset each night over the lake was magical and going for a morning row in the canoe was a great way to wake up!

  • We loved the view from the deck!

    Pooja2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great stay! The lake was beautiful, clean, and so quiet. My sons saw fish from the dock, caught minnows, and watched a few pontoon planes take off and land. The location is great and the market/restaurant across the street was perfect for breakfast, pizza, and ice cream. Close to Glen Arbor and Leland, and Good Harbor beach was less than 5 minutes away.

    Terra2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The absolutely perfect romantic getaway. There’s an amazing view of the dock from the living room and the entire place felt bright, relaxing, and just like home. Between the sunsets, the stars, the comfortable atmosphere, the market across the street, the boats, and the amazing view, it was a great place to stay and we would highly consider coming back

  • Mel's place is soo lovely. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was sparkling clean and comfortable living space and bed. Market 22 across the street serves great breakfast and delicious pizza. We hope to be back this summer.

  • Mel and Neal’s cozy cottage was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. My husband and I enjoyed the fireplace and beautiful lake view. The central location also allowed for easy exploring to wineries, breweries, and restaurants. In addition, we visited Mel and Neal’s market across the street for dinner and breakfast, and we loved everything we tried!

  • The cottage was perfect for what I was looking for. It was quiet, clean, and the check-in/check-out was seamless. The gift card to Market 22 was icing on the cake! I have not doubts that I’ll return.

  • Love this place. Very cozy, very clean, very comfortable, and very accessible to most that Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula and surrounding attractions have to offer. Hosts Melanie & Neal are very responsive and considerate. Cannot emphasize that point enough. Already looking forward to my next return trip and stay at this cottage on Little Traverse Lake.

  • We had another great stay and this cute little place on a pretty inland lake. It’s close to all of the best this area!

  • While this cottage is very small and cozy, it was cleverly furnished (loved the small dining table and four chairs), and very clean. Well located to all of the major towns in Leelanau County. The large deck and nearness to the lake provided hours of relaxation to the sounds of water lapping at the shoreline, and bird life. Having M-22 market across the road provided for easy, last minute meals (pizza any one?) as well as an excellent breakfast one rainy morning. The service at M-22 Market was exceptional too. My experience and enjoyment exceeded my expectations. I had concerns about the small size accommodating four adults, but that never was an issue. And the "extras" provided by both Melanie/Neal, and the lake-front location between Glen Arbor, Leland, and Lake Leelanau made it a perfect choice. I will not hesitate to rent this particular cottage, or any other rentals offered by Melanie. Everything was done, and done well. Thank you.

  • Loved the view. Cute and cozy cabin. Enjoyed having a place to cook meals plus, just walk across the road to amazing restaurant they gave us a gift certificate to enjoy. It was my first time visiting Northern Michigan. I hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the kayaks. The ducks were fun to watch on the frozen water. Melanie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Great experience! Thank you

Large private lot. Unobstructed wooded view. 1 minutes from Glen Lake and Burdickville. DVR,DISH,SPECTRUM ISP,SHOWTIME,2 TV's. A great place to base your adventures at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Guest Katie said "This place is way more affordable than other locations nearby, and no one bothered us - no partying neighbors, loud people, constant headlights in your window. Had a beautiful time and basically used the home for a place to rest our heads, refrigerate and cook our food, and take a shower."
This is a manufactured home on 1.66 acre property. 1/2 mile from Glen Lake and Burdickville. Unobstructed wooded view from the living room. Large living room, kitchen and bathroom. 2 bedrooms, double bed and a bunk bed. Large windows, lots of light. Located 7 miles from Glen Arbor, 9 miles from The Homestead Resort, 7 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes dune climb. Scenic drive to all locations around beautiful Glen Lake.
The nicest, most considerate and helpful neighbors. I am very lucky to have them.
  • Great location. The home is very clean and Richard was incredibly responsive.

  • Richard's place served our purpose perfectly. It's close to everything and had everything we needed. We had zero issues and it was cozy enough to catch some sleep and head back out to keep adventuring in the area.

  • Cabin was as described, quiet space on a large lot. It was very clean, nothing fancy, perfect home base for exploring the county and Dunes park. As others had mentioned, the cell service is a bit spotty, but there is wifi. We brought lots of food, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The view from the big living room windows makes you think you're really in the middle of nowhere, even though you're only minutes from Glen Lake and a short drive to the Dunes, Empire Beach, Glen Arbor and Maple City. The guide books came in handy, skimmed through them on the first night and found some things I hadn't online. There's a lot to do and see in the county, I could see us coming back, and definitely staying in the cabin again.

  • You are very close to the lake and close to town. The view from the cabin is gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice. Just be aware the the cell reception isn't the best so be sure to have data for wifi calling.

  • Our stay with Richard was nothing short of wonderful! His place was the perfect place to shower, rest our heads, and recap our adventures in Sleeping Bear. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable and I can’t recommend a stay with Richard enough!

  • We needed a place to sleep at night for venturing Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelanau towns/countryside, which are all close by. For the price, it was right for us. Far from perfect, but things onsite worked and the host was very responsive. Bring your own bath things. There is a little store minutes away with everything I needed (emergency bath stuff, ice, great coffee, beer).

  • This place is a gem! Really great low key spot and I personally love the wood grain mod trailer vibes. It was a perfect space for me and my boys. I also thought the location was great. It was tucked away but close enough to the dunes and the beaches (10-15 minute drive). At night we could look out the big front room windows at all the stars. We def loved our time here!
