New apartment is very nice, with air conditioning and everything you need for cooking. The town of Ribera is strategic for visiting the area between Sciacca and Agrigento. The host was very helpful and gave us several directions on places to visit and places to eat.

Diane and her son Joey were fantastic hosts with lots of helpful advice and knowledge about Sicily. The space feels more like an apartment than just a private room – we essentially had a floor to ourselves – and the space was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, with multiple terraces and great views. Cianciana is a cool town in a location convenient to several sites in Sicily. We'd love to come back.

Our stay at Casa Gelsomina was very nice and easy. Franco lives next door and he gave us a very warm welcome. His door is always open to have good chat and a coffee together. Quite a remote place, but it's absolutely worth getting there! The apartment is located in a beautifully renovated traditional Sicilian home. Richard is a goldsmith, a musician and a member of local artistic community called Passareddu. Top destination off the beaten path where you want to come back!

A perfect apartment to stay while traveling Sicily's south coast. It's close to Sciaccia, but quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the beach at the end of the road. Franco and his mom stay next door. They were nice enough to let me at their family meals. I will come back.

We spent 2 nights on New Year's Eve .. welcome and cleanliness are the first two things that I want to emphasize, to say that we enjoyed our stay is cheap .. excellent value for money, recommended

We stayed a week, together with our faithful 4-legged friend and we had a great time! The accommodation is very nice, comfortable in the center, practically attached to the market square (which takes place on Saturday morning) and above all super clean and tidy. Calogero is very helpful, for any doubt or request. Highly recommended !!!

Beautiful apartment with balcony, super modern bathroom and spacious and comfortable room. We were two nights, well located to explore the city on foot. The owner let us keep our bikes, very grateful for your attention and details in the house, the communication with her was very good! Recommended to visit Siacca!

It's a huge , modern, new, shick , lux, clean place in Ribera - small charming town, close to Agrigento valey, beaches .... Giusepe and his Mama are so kind, friendly, helpfull .... They advise us to visit Caltabellotta (could see from the terrase) and Burgio .... other charming, old and historic places .... Thank you for your hospitality !!! ....( May be next time we'll spend more days at Ribera )....

Nice and comfortable apartment on the top floor of a building in a residential and very quiet area of Ribera. Giuseppe was very helpful on everything, especially on the check in. Recommended for families for the availability of multiple rooms.

Epifanio’s is still an awesome flat. The heat pump in the master bedroom kept the entire flat very comfortable, even in July. July is not the time to be visiting Sicily. Everyone is indoors from 10:00 until dark for good reason. I have no complaints about the stay at all. Do Epifanio a favor and leave the keys in the door lock instead of locking them in the flat. I think I caused Epifanio some trouble my last trip. I still think that the 14:25 Gallo Bus taking the scenic route and terminating in Lucca Sicula is the coolest means of travel to Lucca Sicula. But the Lucca Sicula bus has the most deferred maintenance, the glitchiest driver (this trip, not last trip) and does not display its route on its front. If the 14:25 bus ends up being a bit capricious, don’t panic. The alternate route is to shift over two bus stalls and buy another ticket (they are cheap) on the 6:15, 9:00, 11:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:40, 14:00, 14:40, 16:15, 17:15, 18:00 or 19:30 Gallo Bus (terminating in Sciacca, Ribera or Cattolica) along the highway to SCIACCA (you will need to catch the 14:40 terminating in Ribera to make the connection happen). Then take the 8:00, 13:20, 15:10 or 17:45 Lumia Bus from SCIACCA to LUCCA SICULA (terminating in Burgio). Sciacca has only one bus stop and fewer busses, so it is pretty hard to goof this one up. There is a taxi stand next to the bus stop, so you are still alright even if you do goof it up. Palermo is building a big bus station on the other side of the Stazione Centrale, so these times will probably all change soon. Check the websites. Weekends and random holidays are a whole different set of times. Coming back, don’t bother getting up early to catch the 4:20 (4:10) early commuter bus back through every little town along the scenic route in the dark just to get into Palermo at 7:00 and have to check your luggage at the Stazione Centrale because you can’t check into your next stay yet. Sleep in, take the 6:55, 9:10, 14:10 or 16:10 Lumia Bus, from the bus stop at the top of the hill past the supermarket, to Sciacca. (It only ever displays that it terminates in Burgio, but Sciacca is the other end of its Burgio route.) Walk around the corner in Sciacca and get some arancini and eat them in the park overlooking the crystal blue water below. Go across the street and buy tickets on the 5:45, 6:00, 6:30, 8:30, 9:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:30, 16:40 or 19:30 Gallo Bus to Palermo at the Antico Chiosco gelato store that also sells beer and bus tickets. If you can find an open restaurant, you can get lunch. Sciacca does not have a public WC, so it is good to know that the big Gallo bus from Sciacca to Palermo has a WC in the rear stairwell.

Epifanio’s house at the lower edge of town is perfect. You rent the entire floor. Two balconies overlook a beautiful valley with miles of olive trees and a spectacular view of Villa Franca, Burgio and Caltabianca. The view is absolutely breathtaking. It is like every postcard of Italy you have ever seen. Be careful when you open the balcony door in the master bedroom; the left side door has a latch at the bottom that you have to swing up before you open the door; the left side shutter door has a slide at the top that you have to slide down before you open shutter. Everything is new construction. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room, TV’s throughout, stereo, couches, a shower, a massive tub, a washing machine and a clothes line. Everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen is very well supplied. There is a heat pump in the master bedroom. There is a fireplace powered by gas and crushed olive pits and probably wood if you want it, but I was traveling solo and had no need to use it. Please hang the key on the door when you leave; I think I locked Epifanio out when I left the key on the table. The Market del Risparmio di Valenti corner market is a few feet away. It will keep you supplied with deli meats and cheeses, pasta, Sicilian wine, hygiene products and juices. You can hire the owner as a driver if you want to tour the surrounding area. Ristorante Galbasa and Ristorante Rocca are within a couple of blocks. Both have wood ovens and a huge selection of pizzas and both are very reasonably priced. The comune is within a couple of blocks. The Panificio Cortese bakery is a couple of more blocks and has the most amazing bread from a 100 year old oven and is not to be missed. The Rosticceria E Paninoteca is within a couple of blocks and is the place to get a take away lunch from a rotating lunch selection. The open air market with the stalls of vegetables and meats and cheeses and olives sets up downtown on Monday mornings. There are more businesses, but I was only there for a week, so I did not have time to visit them all. Everyone was wonderful. To get there take the 14:25 Gallo bus from the #5 stand on the left (not the #5 stand straight ahead) at the Palermo Autostazione next to Stazione Centrale for 13 Euro round trip. As of October 2018, it goes direct, takes a little over two hours, and parks overnight at the corner of Via Aia and Via Buonocosiglio, a couple of blocks from Epifanio’s house. It returns at 4:25 (more like 4:15) a.m. and that is the easiest place to catch it. There is an easy transfer to a waiting bus on the way back. The return trip took a little over three hours. Italian law requires you to provide identification to the carabiniere and sign a contract not to remodel the place, bother the neighbors, let anybody else live there or engage in any nefarious activities. Take an extra copy of your passport and Epifanio will take it over to the carabiniere and bring it back for you with the contract and the receipt. Epifanio and his wife are wonderful hosts. I could tell you more about them if my Italian/Sicilian were better, but my language skills are limited. His brother lives on the ground floor and is available if need be. Epifanio and his family live on the top floor.

Guisy was such a lovely host, giving us great local tips and places to visit! The space is everything you need and with parking just round the corner in the center of town it’s the ideal place to stay whilst you visit Sciacca.

New studio in the center of Sciacca. It can be reached by car and there is free parking. The interior is all new, very nice and tastefully furnished. You reach the center in just a few minutes, just take a stairway. Giusy is very helpful, kind, caring. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had a delightful stay with Gianluca and Laura. They go out of their way to make their guest's experience magical. Both are very laid back and down-to-earth and treat their guests like friends they're welcoming into their home. They were willing to cook a delicious dinner which showcased their organic olive oil and local products like organic wine made nearby. It was great to learn about their local livelihood and culture and the views from their property were breathtaking. The room is spotlessly clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the plumbing worked great which was a surprise compared to some of our stays in Italy :) The company of their 4 dogs was an added bonus. We'd gladly recommend Gianluca and Laura as hosts as they make you feel right at home and immerse you into the local culture.

Welcomed by her sister, speaking a perfect French so greatly facilitating things, she advised me several restaurants (only one tested and not disappointed) and not having much time on site, tourist places are worth seeing. Housing is impeccable in terms of hygiene, the kitchen although not having used seems to have all the necessary equipment, and finally the terrace, big highlight of the housing. In addition, it is close to all amenities and especially a large free parking.

Lovely clean space with fully operational kitchen and amenities. Hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. Superb locations right in the middle of Sciacca. Truly wonderful stay.

A beautiful tastefully decorated with maritime touch apartment with new bathroom, terrace with table and shade roof, additional garden chairs on an open space and access to a garden with palm trees, pomegranates, banana trees and other Mediterranean plants. Also great in the evening with lighting to sit outside with the sound of the sea. The sea is just a small staircase behind the garden exit down and super easy and fast to reach. Francesco provides beach umbrella and towels. The beach is fine sand and was not crowded, the sea access flat. In the garden there is a garden shower, very nice if you come from the beach. Francesco is a super warm and communicative host. He only speaks Italian (we do not), but this in no way prevents him from getting himself understood, from providing us with all that is necessary (and much more) and from communicating with us in a very friendly way, regardless of the languages spoken. We felt very comfortable with Francesco.

The apartment is very clean, beautiful garden, sea access, beautiful beach and an extremely nice host.

It feels like home with friends at Francesco, the apartment is modern and well equipped, with a large shaded terrace, the beach is at the end of the garden, it is a small paradise. I will go back as soon as I can.

The structure is marvelous: the photos render well, but they cannot tell the intoxicating smell of the flowers and the sweet and relaxing sound of the waves. To top it all off, the 5-star hospitality of Francesco and his family: this holiday was wonderful thanks to their kindness and cordiality.

Great hosts (even if you don't know Italian they will communicate with you) and a location extraordinaire. We stayed here with two kids and loved it. The town is in a car distance, as well as shops and bars. The beach is clean and not too crowded (we were in July). Highly recommended place for people who don't like typical touristic destinations

A duplex apartment (above: the kitchen and a large terrace) renovated, clean "Italian", everything works perfectly! In short, I spent 10 days of dream in Sciacca, San Michele district, at Pippo. I highly recommend.

Sambuca di Sicilia is a most special place. The Arab quarter is full of character and history. The location is superb and the home well managed and put together.

Very nice apartment, with attention to the smallest details and with perfect cleaning. Santo and Rosalba are very kind and hospitable. They offered us a very rich breakfast (milk, juice, coffee, snacks). The apartment is located just two kilometers from the center of Sciacca and therefore very convenient for traveling.

The acommodation is on a very nice, silent location, not far from Sciacca or from the beach. The Hosts are really nice people, the room itself is clean and comfortable. Sciacca itself is a beautiful and cheap place, with plenty of good restaurants and cafes with English-speaking staff. It is really recommended, and this accommodation is perfect for it if you have a car

Before booking we read the reviews of other guests, I confirm the super hospitality of Rosa and Santo Roberto's parents. Never being intrusive, they really make you feel at home. The apartment is very clean, it is a portion of the owners' villa, well-kept garden and in a good location. They also received our dog without problems.

Good location in a very nice city

Roberto's place is great. It's outside of the city and offers a relaxing yard. The room is clean and we were very warmly welcomed, we were ever offered some homegrown lemons when we left (we made a lemon pie the following day at it was delicious!). I found the price for the room slightly expensive compared to other AirBnbs we've been to in Sicily, but otherwise and overall we had a very pleasant stay! Thanks.

One of the best bnbs for all these years. We really enjoyed our stay there for 3 days, exactly what we were looking for: peaceful countryside stay, well decorated house with garden. We woke up everyday with the sound of cowbell, read books in the courtyard/garden, hiked in mountains nearby, enjoyed delicious dinner cooked by our host Paolo and Annie . Bonus was the companions of Teo (dog) and No name (white cat).

We enjoyed our stay with Paolo very much. The location is great. The view was the nicest view of our trip in Sicily. Paolo and his wife are very friendly and you can even join dinner dinner. Book this place if you go to Sicily!

I was at Paolo's only for one night, but I had a wonderful day thanks to his company and that of the other guests. The place is ideal for a weekend away from the city, immersed in silence and cared for with love for simple things. I recommend it and I will be back as soon as I get the chance. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the only flaw was a first difficulty in reaching the place, but resolved immediately thanks to the readiness and availability of the landlord in answering me and immediately giving me the right directions. Go and see Paolo and his wife, you will surely like it :)

Villa di Rosa is a great house with lovely surroundings! There is enough space in the house and the garden is very big.

The house is located in a very convenient position, close to the port and just a few minutes from the center, making it also convenient to move on foot for those who do not have a car. It has all the comforts and is very welcoming, I found myself very well!

Recently renovated with perfect cleanliness, the house is located at the port, near restaurants where you can eat good fish and with a magnificent view. Parking available nearby, for those traveling like me with the car. I was greeted with kindness, availability and interest to make me feel good as a guest in the house. I recommend to everyone .. !!

Independent, new and very clean accommodation in a strategic area of the city. Despite being near the center it is very easy to find parking for the car. Only note to keep in mind, the apartment is not very bright because it has only one window, in addition to the door and the bathroom window.
