Beautiful place, colorful living, cordial hospitality.

Pleasant place on a hill with a beautiful view, a secluded place. Accommodation stylish, in the cold evenings heating in the stove - great atmosphere. Braňo and Lucie are very welcoming and friendly, they react immediately, they solve everything by return. The guest room is in an absolutely quiet part of the building, undisturbed by peace and quiet. Perfectly equipped bookshelf. We were satisfied with the stay, everything fulfilled our expectations. The surroundings are charming in autumn.

Amazing place in the mountains. A short walk to nature to the highest peak of the White Carpathians, to the castle Čachtice or Piestansky spa. House stylishly furnished. Nothing was missing. The hosts were very welcoming, helpful and companionship.

This location is literally a hidden gem! We had some difficulties finding the place but once we got there, the view and tranquility were amazing. It was a wonderful base to explore and discover the surrounding area (there are some fantastic castles close by). The kids loved playing with the cats and feeding the sheep (especially sheep Philip) and for the adults there was good company and conversation in the evening! Oh, before I forget, Branko’s home-made pear schnapps is very good!

Pleasant people, helpful and hospitable. The cottage is not entirely built for stays in the winter, which we somehow counted, so we did not mind. If there are adventurers among you, take your sleeping bag and everything will be fine :)

Cozy off-grid wooden cabin in the middle of the forest. It doesn't have current water but that also makes an authentic experience! Petr and his family are great hosts that always helped and advised us. We recommend it.

If you are looking for a different experience that you can't get easily anywhere else, book Petr's place. Petr is awesome host with a big heart. The communication with him is smooth and he is extremely helpful. The location is simply stunning. There is nothing disturbing and it is the best place if you want “ to feel and live the nature ” for some time. Running water, toilet and usual comfort you have at home, try something else for a change. You won't regret, you easily adapt to it, you won't miss anything and definitely you will see the world differently after few days. I believe there is not many places like this left. The White Carpathians region is magical with his mystical beauty and harmony scenery. And you feel that harmony at Petr’s place too.

If you long for peace, quiet and beautiful views of the countryside, accommodation at Petra is just for you! A great mess room where you can relax from civilization. I recommend:)

Peter is very kind, helpful and inspiring guy, we loved area of Kopanice very much, cottage is what it is, but if you love nature as we do and city is becoming too comfy, loud and fast, you'll love it.

Clean, well presented cosy cottage/house with outstanding views of the country side. Peace and quiet with the convenience of a local bus service and a good Country and Western themed restaurant/pub just a short walk down the lane.

Thank you for accommodation in the beautiful Carpathians. We arrived in the dark, the cottage was warm, the stove was drowning. everything was beautifully clean, practical, in place. The region enchanted us. We would be happy to return to Tereza again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's! This cottage is located in a beautiful region of Slovakia. It is perfect for wanting to escape the city rush - you'll only hear the sound of trees swaying, and crickets at night. Definitely recommend it! Tip: Make sure to bring a tick repellent. :)

Great location in the mountains. Very stylish place. Great amenities in the kitchen. Kids loved the garden and the toys. Hiking right from the cottage. Great night sky views. Outdoor and indoor fireplace (wood provided). We will always remember listening to Woodstock and other original LPs from 60's and 70's.

It is a wonderfully quiet place, ideal for relaxing from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a beautiful nature around here, plenty of places to see and a beautiful view of the surroundings from the cottage. It is also nice to "just" wander into the cottage. I warmly recommend. The owners are very pleasant.

We recommend to all who want to spend a few days in peace and beautiful nature. Sleep in the evening with the sounds of birds, or sit outside in the shade of trees. We felt equally cozy inside. In short, nothing was missing and we will be happy to return.

We returned to Hrachovist for the third time and abbey enjoyed it. The house is really beautiful, the garden is huge, so the children can run out of enough. We recommend to all!

This is an amazing place for either romantic getaway, birthday celebration with bunch of friends or family get-together. The house is renovated with great taste and provides plenty of space and comfort for all ages and interests. We were a group of 8 people with one 1 year old toddler and everything was just perfect. Breathtaking view from living room, comfy bathtub, good wifi, projector (we didn’t use tough), fireside, fully equipped kitchen, trampoline & swing outside, beautiful surroundings... We didn’t want to leave. 100% recommended by picky travelers :)

Set in on a beautiful quiet rural property, this home has all a family needs for a wonderful stay in peace and comfort. Lots of additional extras, plenty of space, different spaces for all the members of the family to enjoy, and all the facilities you could need (including washing machine). Hosts communicated excellently and met us at the agreed time. They are warm and welcoming, and were there if we needed them (we didn't require anything). Lots of additional special touches to keep all members of the family happy. Kids loved the place, and enjoyed picking fresh berries from the vines, tomatoes from the vegetable patch, and herbs we used to cook dinner. Even met a cute little hedgehog much to the delight of the children. Great place, and highly recommend should you want to get away to quite village life with all the comforts.

we really loved staying at Barboras & Peters house. The house has a really nice garden, perfectly for children to play. The communication with Barbora & Peter was also really easy - the responded very fast. All in all we would recommend staying at this house.

Accommodation is in a quiet part of the village surrounded by amazing nature. The apartment is clean and fully equipped, the owners very nice and helpful.

Thank you for the super accommodation, the house is huge, spacious, bright, clean and nicely furnished, nothing was missing ... we were with two children, we had a cot and a children's dining chair, potty and reduction to the toilet ... the house is great to think of various activities for small children, the fireplace is also fully used in winter ... New Year's Eve was relatively quiet (what we wanted), near a nice walk in the gorge and lush hill, nice to shoot ... a pity that the snow did not attack - sledding would be possible just behind the house ... shopping we dealt in Tesco Trencin, good accessibility, and in smaller shops nearby (not on foot, but did not mind) ...

Alena is a wonderful host, the house is really nice, well located if you want to have a countryside & nature experience, but close enough to trencin to enjoy the town! Good balance!

Alena's place is outstandingly beatiful, spacious .The interior design is in very good taste (scandinavian ) . The place is also fully equiped. Nothing was lacking. The area around the house is also wide and open and beatiful , a big lawn with plenty of possibilities for outdoor activities. The location was in a very small and charming village, surrounded by nature. The location offers a lot of privacy and easy access to the major towns in the region and some very nice walks and trails . Alena is a welcoming and warm host and she was attentive a responded quickly and whole heartedly to all our requests We certainly recommend staying in her place.

This house is exceptionally spacious, furnished with stylish pieces and very clean. The house is located in a calm village with lots of things to do, Alena even prepared a file with tips for trips. There were toys for our baby and even board games for late evenings. If you're looking for a calm family trip in a nice natural surroundings, this is a place to go. Thanks a lot for your outstanding hospitality.

Great escape from reality into beautiful nature. It took us a while to heat the cottage, but then everything was great. Given the place do not expect hotel luxury, but even so, you can enjoy a great weekend here. The communication with the owner was excellent.

Cottage in a beautiful environment. Everything corresponded to the description, there was no problem to contact the owner at any time. If you do not mind dry toilet, I can only recommend.

Petr’s place was fantastic. Exactly as expected: a little beautiful wooden hut in the middle of the hills and forest. We got lucky and it snowed during our stay: it turned into a winter wonderland! Petr was super friendly, helped us getting there and leaving by giving us rides to the train station. He gave us lots of tips, we met his lovely family and some of the animals of his little farm. Highly recommend this for outdoor-lovers. Don’t expect a five-star-forest-retreat (although a spa is only a 3km walk away.) It’s basic like it says in the description but beautiful. Can’t wait to discover the place in spring/summer too though. Must be fantastic to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the views over coffee and go for long strolls - without getting cold ;)

We loved staying at Petr's cottage. It's really simple, really quiet, beautiful area, amazing view point, no one around to disturb you - everything as expected. You gotta like to do things yourself, heat water to shower, get more utility water from the cellar, fire up the oven and keep the fire going - all DIY - but we loved all that. Thanks Petr - I really hope the next time we get to meet - you sounded really nice :)

Great place

Great location! A perfect way to isolate yourself from the world. The LTE signal is limited as well as electricity. The nearest town is 20 minutes away by car. There are very few things to distract you from being on your own. To live in the cabin you’ve got to put in work: keep the fire burning to warm up the house, clean the toilet bucket every now and then, bring water to cook and clean dishes or to take a “shower”. It is not a tent, but it is still a raw experience. Don’t expect comfort. Come here if you are looking for a change of scenery and unplug.

Staying at the cottage at Peter was a fantastic experience, which we will definitely want to repeat. After a busy summer of work, the three days in this oasis of calm were right. The communication was fantastic, the tutorials helped us "survivors" and the townspeople, and the outlooks ... that cannot be described, it must be seen :) Thank you again for everything, it was an amazing three days!
