Absolutely the most charming place we have ever stayed with phenomenal hosts!! Perfect for some quiet relaxation which was just what we needed on our whirlwind trip to Florence & Cinque Terre. Silvia is a veritable font of information which she was happy to provide both before & during our stay. Her suggestions influenced how we planned our trip and made it immeasurably better. Silvia recommended us having a car which would have been better for getting to & from Fornoli but as we didn't want to drive, the next best option is taking a taxi to Aulla for trains - Silvia was happy to arrange for a driver to pick us up as required and Stefano was very reliable. We tried recommended foods and restaurants and were not disappointed! They even went grocery shopping for us to have the fridge stocked with local goodies for our late arrival. When we arrived, the apartment was warm and inviting with tea lights arranged throughout - so lovely! We would absolutely stay here again - fabulous!!

Such a beautiful place this is! Truly magical! Love all the history and the town is really cool. Silvia & Fabio were wonderful hosts! They made us feel welcomed by greeting us as we arrived and with food in the fridge and some wine :) We had our 15 month old son with us and they were kind enough to let us use one of Jacopo's big cars, which our son pushed around the whole time! The people of the village were friendly and welcoming as well :) Our last day there they offered us to stay another night for free (since the next people came later) ! That was a really nice ending to our lovely vacation. We highly recommend this lovely getaway!

Silvia, Fabio and Jacopo were the most remarkable hosts. We had a wonderful stay at this dreamy and unique stone house. Communication was great leading up to our arrival. When we arrived after a 10 hours drive, we were happy to find the fridge stocked with breakfast, as well as some snacks and a bottle of wine. Everything was very clean and tidy. They had also arranged a baby cot 2 year old, which we really appreciated. Our girls enjoyed playing on the beautiful terrace, and Silvia even put out a fun slide for them to play with. The terrace was also perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. They were always attentive and giving great advice on places to visit. On our last day they even invited us up for cup of coffee which was a lovely gesture and end to our stay at this beautiful place. We definitely recommend coming here :) Thank you Silvia, Fabio and Jacopo!

Silvia and Fabio were just the perfect host. They did everything to make us feel like home. As I am vegan I ask Silvia if she knows a place where to eat vegan and she wrote me a long list just the other night. The apartement is even more beautiful as in the pictures. It´s the perfect location to discover Tuscany and even the coast is nearby. We really appreciate the calm environment, such a beautiful contrast to our loud and busy urban life. Sylvia and Fabio were great hosts. We were treated to a very warm welcome in their beautiful apartment. Fornoli is the perfect place to be quiet but still ready Five lands and cities to visit. Sylvia had prepared a cake for our arrival along with an Italian sparkling wine (excellent cook elsewhere). They are generous people who have donated their time to make our trip perfect, always available to answer our questions. We shared a great time with them, hoping to see them again very soon! We recommend this apartment to couples traveling with friends.

A stay at Silvia and Fabio is recommended without reservation. Who is looking for the original Italy with all its beauty, is in good hands Fornoli. You can either spend a wonderful day on the large, private terrace, soon you are but also by car to many attractions such as Pisa, Florence and the Cinque Terre. The accommodation is very clean, furnished with great attention to detail and looks just as good as in the photos. The spacious home has many amenities such as dishwasher, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, and, and, and ... Silvia and Fabio have really thought of everything! You place great importance on the privacy of their guests, at the same time they are also very warm and helpful and have a lot of good tips for trips, etc. Thank you for letting us spend our vacation with them. 5 of 5 stars an absolute must!

The excellent Tuscan house with all modern conveniences. Very romantically. However, if you plan to go to Florence and - far to go to Tuscany often. But for Chekveterre's visit and Genoa - it is good. Also I recommend if you want to have a rest simply in silence, far away from popular resort dirty places. Everything was fine!

The stay in Silvia and Fabio's place was an exceptional one. If you are looking for a special local experience rather than a cliche touristic travel, it is a place you are looking for. We have tried two restaurants recommended by Silvia and Fabio. They were amazing. Most important of all, Silvia and Fabio are very hospitable. I worked in a luxury 5-star hotel. Their hospitality is nothing but genuine. They even helped with our itinerary and invitied us to have a coffee with them. This was such an experience and the kind of travelling we are looking for.

Federico's sister welcomed us, and the place was very comfortable: nice beds and linens, a very nice bathroom and shower, and a spot for eating the light breakfast treats they provide which included honey from their local farm. I would describe the location as follows: about 2 minutes walk from a small town/village not far from La Spezia, with a local pizzeria, a market, etc. Easy to drive to, and easy access to drive to La Spezia and catch a train to the Cinque Terre towns along the coast. Meeting Federico and seeing their family farm, and getting a short tour of the immediate neighborhood was really fun. A very friendly family. One thing to note about the apartment -- the eating area is not a kitchen by any means. It does have a small refrigerator (which was stocked with nice, small breakfast items) and a microwave, but there's room for just two people to sit and maybe 1-2 more to stand at the tall table. And the only sink is in the bathroom. But it all worked well for us. One other note is that the stairs up one story to the apartment are a bit steep (with a had a hand railing).

The room is very well kept and nicely furnished. We found everything we needed and a few things we didn't expect :-) (Towels, shower gel, shampoo, microwave, kettle, cutleries, salt, oil, croissants, milk, juices, marmalades and Nutella). Federico is a very good host and helped us to make the most of our time in Pitelli.

We celebrated New Year in this house. It is really nice, clean and there is everything you need to eat and sleep. The owners were kind and helpful in the face of every request, even delicious cakes for breakfast. We will definitely return.

The house, recently renovated, is beautiful, comfortable, large, clean, tidy and equipped with every comfort. It is located in the town center, ideal starting point for excursions to the natural park of the high valley Tanaro. Emanuele and her cousins are very warm and welcoming and provide tasty breakfasts and plentiful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

People, this is an amazing place to stay. The flat is very spacious, very clean and at night it is very quiet. Internet is fast (so for those who work when travel like me), everything is exactly as advertised. Beautiful interior, super clean and very very cosy! Emanuele is a fine young chap who has traveled a lot himself and by what I've heard spends quiet sometime abroad as well. So he probably knows best about travellers needs. He gives lots of advice and is very helpful ! Also, the hospitality is tops ! You will find a lot of homemade stuff on arrival (although that might depends on season) - I even got homemade cake and bread, which was super tasty ! Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish the bread as in Italy it is all about food and wherever you go there are lots of great restaurants that need to be tried, so my belly was close to explode. Anyway, thank you for the amazing hospitality, and say thank you to whoever in your family made the cake and bread !! The village: Absolutely gorgeous! Very dreamy and Italian. People are very very very nice. There you have everything you need in terms of food and coffee supply. If you look at trip advisor there are two highly rated restaurants there! I was there to cycle so I didn't stay very long - unfortunately! - the major climbs are all very close (within 30min). However, the place is not only ideal for cyclists - there are plenty more things to do! The area is beautiful, full of sights and hiking opportunities - so anyone who loves beautiful views, being outside and experience stuff - this is a great place to start at. I highly(!!) recommend this place. I will certainly come back and visit. There are a lot of climbs still waiting for me !

Truly a great experience, the apartment was clean, bright, quiet and equipped with everything you need and every morning began with a tasty breakfast !!! But the highlights were the reception and the kindness received ... worthy of a five star hotel!

Given that I did have to sleep my family of origin, here for my wedding, everyone told me wonders whether the area that host. Very positive experience is that repeat when I need a foothold in the area.

Cristiana was very sweet and made us feel very welcome in her hometown of Corniglia. The view from her room was worth a million bucks!!! We hope to return soon to explore more of this incredible landscape of Cinque Terre.

Christiana and her husband are the best hosts ever! We arrived very late but Christiana took her time and explained us everything. She was really well oranized (train plan, map, etc.). The room looks exactly like on the pictures and got cleaned once a day. Corniglia is the ideal place to discover the region. And you have to visit their vine bar! Many Thanks Christiana for everything.

Cristiana was one of the warmest host we have ever met! She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable (e.g., even offering to switch on the WIFI so we have late night access even tho the cafe was closed) and even assisted us to identify the best route to Nice. The room while small was very comfortable, clean, warm and well stocked. The view was indeed breathtaking.

What a marvelous place! Great view of Corniglia and the Ligurian Sea from the nice little balcony. Comfy bed and clean bathroom plus a small tv (though you won't need it). Cristiana is a very friendly and welcoming host and communication to arrange check-in is no problem at all. She and her husband also run a little cafe where you get a little breakfast every morning: hands down the best cappuccino we've had in Italy! We have no complaints whatsoever and highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Cinque Terre. We'd love to visit again!

We had a great experience with our stay in Corniglia. Good instructions about how to get from the train station up to her cafe ensured we made contact easily. Cristiana showed us to the most perfectly positioned third floor room with a view from the balcony of the houses on the hillside opposite and the sea. It is right on the walking trail north and only a short stroll to the cafés, restaurants and shops. The breakfast at the cafe she and Stephano run was a lovely extra at no charge and a very pleasant way to start each day. The room was small but neat, clean, and all we needed, especially as it is in the most beautiful village on the Cinque Terre. We would love to be able to return in the future. Definitely strongly recommend.

Cristiana is very friendly and accommodation is superb, true to pictures. The view of the village of Corniglia and the sea is sublime. The breakfast Pan e wine is great too. Cristiana also many advised us on the trails and things to visit. We recommend that host.

First of all the Cafe Vin e Pan was extremely easy to find and I was welcomed with a lovely coffee. Cristiana then took me to the room and it was so cute and stunning. Everything I wanted and more. If you are heading to Cinque Terre you must stay here. Great location and directly on the hiking path. I literally turned left one day and turned right the next out of the apartment. We are grateful to Maurizio for such a wonderful apartment. It has historical spirit which made our beeing there so cozy and romantic. Apartment is just few steps from the sea with an incredible view and fresh oysters in the sea market.

Maurice and his mother were precise, warm and friendly. We were provided a ticket for the car park, they gave us all the directions to the house and move around. The apartment is very nice, spacious, charming, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. It 's almost on the sea, a few steps from the castle, in the center, in a very characteristic square of the old Lerici. The town is charming. We hope to be back soon ...

The place is just as described and photographed, and the location is delightful. Mauricios mum was so kind and friendly and the check in was completely hassle free. There are loads of things to see and places to go in walking distance (so come by public transport if you can), but the place is still quiet in the evenings as the square was not noisy at night. The kids loved to sit on the balcony and look down at the folks eating and playing cards in the square.. We had a lovely few days in Mauris place.

The view is simply amazing and very relaxing to just sit and drink your wine and eat your meal. Everything you need, although a kettle would be a nice addition for those of us that like tea! We had a great time in Lerici. Arabella meets you and takes you right to the place which is great given the secluded location.

The view from Arabella's family cottage is stunning! You get an unobstructed view of Lerici and San Terzano - just enchanting to end the night with wine and cheese on the terrace, with the view at your feet and surrounded by the lush hillside. The cottage is charming, the rooms very nice and comfortable, 2 bathrooms (water pressure great) and kitchenette with dishwasher. We were only there for 2 nuts and would have loved to stay for 2 more - but the rest of Italy needed exploring. Arabella was wonderful hostess and gave us great restaurant suggestions, Pin Bon down the road was delicious - a set menu of the chefs choice for 35 Euro including wine - we were full before the secondi course. There were 8 samples to start, followed by a giant serving of pasta for prime course ... Super value and a must for the food, handsome servers and city views. I would come back again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Just make sure you are comfortable driving on windy, steep, grave roads, but it's Italy and that is the terrain in this beautiful part of the country. Brava Arabella, we had a wonderful memorable stay.

We really liked our one-week stay in this house. The view is indeed amazing and we could just sit and stare at it for hours. The kitchen is good and we cooked for ourselves often. The area is great, although parking can be difficult at nearby beaches (and impossible on a Sunday in August). The only thing we were disappointed about is that the villa is not as private as we expected. Appearently there was another house attached to this villa which was also rented out, and so your peace and quiet depends on your neighbours who were sitting 2 meters away. Thankfully, most of them were quiet!

This 2 story villa is located on the top of the mountain you will have to text Arabella so she can show you the way to the house the first day. I recommend you to have a GPS at all times anyways. The villa is beautiful, clean and has an amazing view. Arabella is so nice, it was easy to communicate and the day we checked in she explained everything we needed to know and gave us a lot of useful info. Thanks for the stay !

We so enjoyed staying at Arabella's beautiful villa in the hills above Lerici. The accommodation was very comfortable, stylish and perfect for our mini break. The view from the terrace has to be seen to be believed! It is sensational taking in the mountains and a 180 degree view of the sparkling coastline below! As others have said the roads are steep and winding. This was a little scary at first, but once you've done it once it's becomes easy. Arabella was absolutely charming and gracious and an excellent host.

My wife and I stayed at the Villa 4 delightful days in solitude surrounded by beautiful views and nature. A wonderful place to relax from the bustle and concerns. I want to be back there.

A very cozy place. Guido was prompt in receiving us and was quick to help us when needed. This place is one straight walk from La Spezia train station. It has a grocery store right next door. Cafe at an intersection. There were lot of informative books and pamphlets inside the home. Highly recommended

A perfect home base for visiting Cinque Terre and not paying the high prices! It is literally a 5 min walk to the train where you can hop on and head to the towns. It is about a 15 walk to the port and a lovely walk with restaurants and shopping. The apartment has plenty of space for a large group of people and plenty of blankets and pillows. They even offered complimentary laundry soap but we didn't have time to line dry our items. Guido was so nice and friendly, he helped with our luggage and even let us check in early and out late. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

The place was lovely! Enormous, clean, spacious, and a quick walk from the central station. We had easy access from the house to the transportation to the different villages in Cinque Terre, and shops and restaurants were quite close to the house as well. We would have loved to stay longer and our only disappointment was that our time was limited. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay with Guido and Rosanna during our recent trip to La Spezia and I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect, a short walk from the train station and Guido met us right outside when we arrived. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very clean. We spent the day in Chique Terre and the location made that trip easy and simple. Highly recommend it d and we hope to return in the future!

What a wonderful time we had! Lots of space and centrally located. Loved the recommendation to take the boat to Cinque Terre. The girls got to swim in the water, had a fabulous time exploring, and very relaxing to come back to your place. We would love to stay there again in the future. Thank you.

This was our first Airbnb experience and we loved it! Margherita was a great host and made the experience of not only using Airbnb, but traveling abroad easy and painless. The location was great with easy access to everything (town square & train station). Margherita offered great tips for exploring the area, local foods, etc. We were more than comfortable with the accommodations and were thrilled to have made the decision to stay here.

The location is perfect. The place is adorable, and the bedroom is breezy. A tiny terrace outside of the bedroom is super clutch for morning reading and wine-fueled nighttime stargazing. Mario, Margherita's brother, in particular is amazing. A total man about town, and fun to run into the whole time we were there.

The view from the apartment was so amazing. We loved sitting on the terrace with wine in the evenings- it made the perfect end to our honeymoon. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. I knew there wouldn't be a kitchen when I chose the apartment, but we still found ourselves missing some kitchen amenities because we had been cooking breakfast every morning on our trip prior to Vernazza. It was fine for three days, but if we were staying longer we probably would have required a kitchen. That view, though, makes it all worth it. :)

The apartment in right next to the central plaza in the village with good restaurants and the harbour within a 5 min walk and also less than 5 min walk from the station. inside the apartment is quite comfortable with comfortable bed , nice view of the main plaza and you can spot the sea as well. Margherita was really helpful with her tips with how to best utilize your stay. Would reccomend the apartment for 2 people looking for a place close to center.

Margherita was very welcoming and very responsive leading up to our stay. She promptly answered all questions in advance of our stay. Additionally, given the location of the apartment is difficult to locate, Margherita met my wife and I at the train station to walk us to the unit. She provided great details about Vernazza on the way to the apartment as well. The apartment itself was great and the view is as good as it can get. We had a lovely stay and would rebook there if we have the opportunity to visit Cinque Terre again.

Margherita was very nice and offered lots of great suggestions for things to do around town. The place is cute and clean and has a great view. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. I recommend this place.

Margherita met us at her store in the village on our day of arrival, as promised. She was cordial and gave us alot of useful information about the area, things to do and dining. The apartment was as described and the photos gave an accurate depiction of the listing. The apartment was clean and in order, bed was comfy and the terrace was great. Beautiful views of the harbor and the terraced vineyards! It was harvest time while we were there and we enjoyed watching the farmers pick the grapes, transport them on a little locomotive type train along the hillsides, then carry the grapes through town in crates. Really interesting to see how it is done and how hard the farmers work. We would like to have had a kitchen but, we knew going in that the rental did not have one. Would be nice to have had a microwave. Margherita does have a small fridge and a tea kettle there. Also, the pictures in the listing do not include the new, roomy shower, which was great, and she provides air conditioning, which we used at night, as it was so hot and humid while we were there. Only one negative, for us, to mention. Had we known the amount of stairs to be climbed to reach the apartment building, and then the apt is on the third floor of the building, we probably would have gone with a rental that has a kitchen. We are young senior citizens but it was a bit much for us every time we wanted to grab a bite or go somewhere to climb all of the stairs. I would recommend this apt to anyone not having a problem with so many stairs. The view was great and the apt is right in the middle of town. Margherita was a pleasure to communicate with and always answered emails promptly.

Margherita was REALLY friendly and met us at the train station as we came in from La Spezia. She walked us through the charming town of Vernazza, and showed us how the apartment works. The bedroom has REALLY beautiful views, and it's right in the heart of Vernazza. The only thing to know is that - while there are 2 big beds, one of the beds is in the living room. Also, the shower is very small, making it hard not to make a mess, but the water is good and hot! All in all a great place!

Our stay at the tower was fantastic! It is a true gem of the Tuscan countryside. The views are incredible and the tower itself is amazing. Elena was a great host. She has anticipated everything you might want and provided it. We would stay here again any time. Thanks Elena!!!

This place is amazing. My trip to Europe is overwhelmingly dominated by pictures from the castle, the surroundings, and it's interior. Elena did an incredible job renovating the place and hosting our time there. If you want throngs of tourists do not go here...we spent three days exploring the area with new delights over every hill and didn't meet another tourist. Rent a car and go have the most incredible time of your life. Everything you need is at the tower (a grocery store is nearby) and the pictures do not even begin to do it (URL HIDDEN) only hope is that by the next time I make it back to Italy that this undiscovered gem won't be so busy that I won't be able to stay again.

The second of our four stops in Italy was this stunning castle. Photos do not do it justice - it is breathtakingly beautiful, VERY spacious, clean, organized, and just generally, highlighted the best Tuscany has to offer. We felt the space was almost wasted on the two of us as we could have easily fit 4 more people, and in fact plan to return with our family in the future. It seems to be an ideal spot to return with a medium-sized group, to cook meals and enjoy the immediate surroundings. You will likely need a car to be able to explore and be warned, it's a windy path to get from the main road to the castle, but it's worth it! PS- Neighbor Bruno was a valuable resource and helped make our stay even better.

Amazing views, unique place, super kitchen, definitely recommend spending at least one evening watching the views, sunset, and stars! Elena is a super hostess, went out of her way to book us the best restaurant we have eaten at in Italy: Gavarini, Via Benedicenti 50, Mocrone, Villafranca in Lunigiana (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). A Michelin recommended restaurant for 7 years! Perfect for the 7 of us staying for 2 nights. And for people who are non-smokers, as Elena promised, there was no smell of smoke at all. And for those wondering how the no air conditioning would fare, fans were provided and the outside air was very cool.

The place has so much character and the views are stunning! The drive to the accomodation is a bit of a narrow windy road at the top of a hill, so if you need to buy some groceries, it's easier if you do it before you arrive. However, the supermarket is only a 5 min drive, including the windy road.. The majority of the beds are sofa beds but we only stayed here for 2 nights so it didn't bother us. There are also 2 single recliner chairs and leather lounges, which u could sleep on, and another bed on the top level which was very comfy for us! Bruno told us about the walk down to the waterfall which was amazing.. it's about 40 mins downhill, but coming back up is harder but well worth the effort.. just don't sit on rocks as they are full of little ticks. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher.. and washing machine ! Overall a great place to stay and relax..

We had a fantastic time in Elena's tower. It has beautifully restored him and lovingly decorated. The views from the very cozy terrace was breathtaking. Every night we sat there and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. The fireplace in the garden was another highlight. The small mountain village, where the tower is located, was very original and quiet. The friendly residents of the village have reinforced this pleasant atmosphere. I had the feeling that you would be right about us. We were very pleased and would gladly come again!

Our stay at Andrea's place was nothing short of amazing. The welcome was warm and gracious, the house itself was spacious, homely and well-equipped, and the views were absolutely breath-taking. Adding to this was Andrea himself, a speedy and helpful host. Would recommend to anyone.

The house is gorgeous and the view even more beautiful than the pictures. Mrs. Ada (the mother of Andrea) greeted us in an exemplary manner, explaining how to move well and continuing to provide information during our stay. The hill has definitely stolen a place in our hearts.

This was a charming apartment in the pedestrian part of Lerici. Great views from kitchen, bathroom and one of the bedrooms. It was also a quiet area so if felt like a real getaway. Our only concern as the wifi. It's fine for checking an occasional email but the bandwidth does not allow YouTube or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and is very slow for even emails. If you don't need to be online ( we work from road so sadly, we do) it's of little concern. Go out and eat at the wonderful restaurants in the square or walk the seaside promenade!

Staying in Andrea's home in Lerici was very special. We were welcomed by his mother and made to feel very comfortable. The view is spectacular and the house is impeccably clean and full of character. This air bnb is a perfect balance of being very professional but also very friendly. We really enjoyed the outstanding views, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and all the extra touches like original family paintings on the walls. To add to everything, the private beach is outstanding! We will definitely return!

A wonderful home, a past stupenda.Ho hospitality here a few days before and after my wedding and I could not find a place (URL HIDDEN) felt at casa.Tutto perfect, not to mention the view from (URL HIDDEN) I will again definitely!

The apartment is very authentic and simple but equipped with everything you need. Andreas Mutter gave us a very warm welcome and everything perfectly explained in English, thanks again for that! :) Initially we were unsure because of some remote parking lot (in Lerici there is a general parking ban on all non-natives!), But the way there (10-15 minutes) leads to the sea as a promenade along and we and our 5-year-old on her scooter have always enjoyed made the transition to the car. The fantastic location of the apartment in the old town of Lerici next to the Castello is in our opinion the best you can have there. And the highest. But for luggage, small children, the elderly and running lazy there is a free public elevator that leads up to the Castello directly from the small harbor. After another 60 seconds relaxed walk you are then at the house with his little forecourt. Old buildings, cobblestone paths, relaxed cat, nice neighbors - here it is as you imagine. And the view is just beautiful. We were there in March and it was still sometimes cloudy, we had a very nice time in Lerici.

Thank you very much for hosting us for six nights in this wonderful place in Lerici! Everything went very well, the communication with you as well as the welcome in Lerici, when your mum showed us everything. The house was perfect for two adults and a child, beautifully furnished with your paintings, quiet and a with a splendid view of the sea. We especially loved the little piazza in front of the house, where we spent nice evenings. Our boy was exicted about the Castello just around the corner and his room and the fact (or tale...), that his bed was made out of the wood of a pirates ship... We would definitely come again (if we may...)!

Donatello and Guiliano were incredibly gracious hosts to our family! They made us feel so welcome in their lovely home and were so helpful to us in planning our visit to the Cinque Terre. The apartment was very nice, very quiet, and very clean. And Donatella made us an amazing breakfast every morning. Thank you for such a great stay - we recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Cinque Terre!

Our stay with Giuliano and Donatella was like being welcomed home by family. It was the only B and B experience of our trip which gave us a chance to really relate to the people who live full time in the region on a personal level. When we arrived, Donatella greeted us with warmth and hospitality, a cold drink, and snacks in hand. Giuliano was at English speaking classes but arrived shortly thereafter winning us over with his enthusiasm and personality. We found them both to be charming and genuine. Both mornings we were served a delicious breakfast of home baked goods and cappucino to get our day started. Giuliano even guided us into LaSpezia himself to catch the train to the Cinque Terre. They provided invaluable advice for exploring the area including Portovenere(which we had not planned to see) and Verona on our next journey to Venice. We are very grateful for their advice since those turned out to be two of our favorite stops. The apartment was clean and beautifully appointed with a stunning view from the balcony and privacy. The restaurant at the bottom of the hill was fabulous and friendly so we chose it as our dining destination both nights of our stay. We would love to go back again and even volunteer to help them harvest their grapes!

Donatella and Guiliano were absolutely fabulous hosts! From the beginning our email exchanges were very nice and upon arriving at their lovely home they offered us an aperitif and gave us information and good ideas of what to visit in the Cinque Terre area. They have a beautiful home and we had an entire floor to ourselves with a private bathroom and terrace. In the morning we were spoiled by Donatella's absolutely delicious Italian pastries Mmmmmmm!!! A wonderful experience all around! Thank you!

We arrived very late at night after a long and eventful journey. Donatella and Guiliano waited up for us and greeted us like old friends. Everything about their home was what we expected from the photos. The beds are very comfortable. Donatella made us a lovely breakfast each day. They were both very helpful in advising us how to get to various places like the Cinque Terre and the Marble Cave. ( just make sure you go to the small ticket office on the left as the large one is for a tour up the mountain to the quarry, not the cave, although it is still spectacular. ) we enjoyed our stay immensely and would love to go back one day.

When we arrived whe got a warm welcome. Like we were old friends. We got a drink an a bite. The house was perfect. We had our own floor. We had a little workshop. We made tiramisu and pasta pesto. It was dellicious. They have a great house and beautiful garden. Really quiet and relaxing after a day walking. Donnatella and guilliano are really great people and great host. They helped us with everything. And the homemade cake from donatella was delissious.We recommend them and hope to see them in holland. Best regards Fred and ellen

Donatella and Giuliano are very nice persons. When we arrived, they welcomed us with an aperitivo. The room is large, clean and quiet and the view on the hill is so relaxing. There is even a terrasse where you can take a sun bath. They gave us a lot of information on the surroundings and recommended a very nice restaurant close to their house. If you want to spend peaceful holidays, this is definitely the place to stay...

What makes this place stand out are the hosts. Donatella was a lovely hostess who strove to make our stay as pleasant as possible. While Giuliano was very informative providing us with lots of tips and recommendations for the area. For instance we ate at two wonderful restaurants which they recommended. We also enjoyed conversing with them in the evenings and getting to know each other. The setting of their home was lovely and within easy driving distance to Cinque Terre. We ate lovely breakfast outside in their wonderful garden. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect. Donatella and Giuliano are very nice and caring people. They try to fulfill all your wishes and even more. Giuliano even speaks to you in English so there is no problem to comunicate. Our stay was very comfortable and that is why I recommend this place highly!
