Staying at Michael'place was one of the greatest stays. The house was beautiful, the scenery was stunning, all set in a small French Village. What more could you ask for, except the perfect host, and you got that with Michael. Michael is the consummate host. Friendly, sharing, and fun to be around. Spent many nights sitting in the backyard sipping wine, having great conversation, and watching stunning sunsets. Although some might think the it's to far, don't it is really worth the trip. You won't regret it.

We stayed at Edwina's place on our way down to the Mediterranean coast as it's just off the A20 (E9). The house is delightful and has been beautifully decorated. We particularly liked the comfy beds and the bathroom with its exposed stone wall. The garden is huge and there is a lovey lake within easy walking distance. Both Edwina and Steve were warm and welcoming - as was the huge breakfast with fresh croissants from the local bakery, and home-made jam! Now that we have found this jewel, we will definitely be back.

The family were awesome, lovely couple and great kids. The place was beautiful, so we bought a house 20 mins away!

We stayed with laurie ang gavin on our way to the Montauban area. They really have a beautiful home and love sharing it. Very warm and friendly people. The room was very nice. We had a great night on ou road crossing France in Laurie and Gavin house, wonderfully, renoveted barn. The room and bathroom are decorated with taste and very clean. The garden is gorgeous! Laurie and Gavin are very friendly hosts!

What a fantastic week it has been. This amazing converted barn has a touch of magic for both adults and children. The pictures don't do it justice! 2 families spent a whole week comfortably in this glorious and spacious place. We've had everything we needed and most days we swam, played outdoor games, had bbq's and of course sat round the camp fire. The house itself has converted to the highest of standards. The attention to detail was fantastic and was spacious, light and had everything we needed. The small touches made the stay even more special. We arrived to fresh bread, milk, coffee and wine. BBQ had charcoal, logs ready for indoor and outdoor fires, child safety features and an amazing pool and outdoor dining area. During our stay we have visited a big lake about 20 minutes away called the Saint Pardoux. Our 7 year old enjoyed go ape style climbing situated by the lake. It's a lovely place to bring a picnic, enjoy water activities and build sand castles. Another lovely place to visit close by is a village called 'Saint Benoit Du Sault'. It's got a small square with two restaurants where we've had some lovely crepes and fresh pizza. It's cute medieval streets and buildings add a real character. It has a traditional vintage/Antique shop full of treasures that are incredibly cheap! If you are a vintage enthusiast like me you will love it! We truly loved our holiday and would love to return again in the future. Thank you for having us, we've got some lovely memories and will miss this amazing place.

We stayed 9 days with a group of friends (6 adults and 5 kids (2-5 years) in Le Chatelat. We had a great time! The house is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped. The kids loved the big garden and the pool! Claire's hospitality is just great and her day trip suggestions were very welkome. The lakes you can visit in the surrounding areas are very nice. All in all, a great holiday!

A pretty house with character in a pleasant, quiet and beautiful. But the house is a little hard to find and really requires a lot of explanation to operate, (find the house keys, which turn on the electricity to plug the heater from the many cables etc ...) certainly very pleasant in summer, it is fairly wet, cold and difficult to heat (a loan without wood wood stove + full of small radiators camp), the house is still under construction and cleanliness severely lacking: full ashtray in the house, old trash, dirty dishes even in closets. Andrew has shown, however, reactive and gave many explanations on the functioning of the house. But the explanations were entirely in English, so it is easier to understand English.

Through effective remote home, my installation was done without any worries. Andrew's house is an ideal place to "retreat" away from the bustle of the world, a beautiful place in the middle of nature. Would definitely go again!

Andrew has given a detailed mail and a call ergäzenden, much trouble to give me all the necessary information. Unfortunately, the problems could not prevent characterized. I arrived at wet-cold weather and häte gladly found a cozy and warm home. Unfortunately I could not drive up to the house, because Andrews car blocked the way. Once in the house, I was equally shocked by the disorder, the lack ends cleanliness and the cold. I tried in vain to both known to me phone numbers to reach Andrew. A neighbor finally helped me in the search for firewood. However, the heat of the furnace was not enough for the home. Positive I want anmeken that the bedding were clean. However, the bed was cold and clammy and I took hours to warm me can. I'd like something to eat, but I found no place where I could taste my food. So I left in the morning without breakfast, somewhere to have breakfast in a cafe. I'm sorry for Andrew. He has sought.

ahh what an amazing retreat we had in this gorgeous and remote cottage. we had many cozy evenings by the wood stove fire, cooked delicious sunset dinners and ate under the pear tree, harvested raspberries and plums from the garden til our bellies hurt, and reveled in the vast quiet of this beautiful landscape. Andrew was a wonderful and accommodating host and we can't wait to return!

Wonderful gite to stay in for a relaxing few days

This place was incredible I've stayed in a few places now all over limoges but this is by far the most modernised and clean looking the kitchen is great with patio doors and I like that they have put a TV in the master room, kitchen and living room, the garden is great and I can't wait to re book for summer with my whole family. Thanks for the super Gîte Sonny!!

We had a lovely stay at Sonny's place. A beautiful place with a great pool, sauna and gym. The children loved it! A place for a second stay!

Petit cocon idéal pour se reposer à 3h30 de Paris. Pas un bruit à part bien sûr vos enfants qui s'amusent dans la piscine. Le soir, l'espace extérieur ressemble à un ryad à Marrakech. Sans vis à vis on se sent vraiment chez soi. L'ensemble a été refait sans faute de goût. Rien à dire...on respire et on est heureux. Les plus courageux quitteront la piscine chauffée pour faire un peu de sport dans la salle parfaitement aménagée. Vous pouvez y aller...les yeux fermés.

Sony est un hôte très sympas !!! N'hésitez pas.

La maison de Sonny est un havre de paix. Toute la maison vient d'être refaite et tout est neuf ! Décoration sobre et de très bon goût. Très bon équipement cuisine et wifi/télévision. Cadre reposant et magnifique. De très belles balades dans une région qui permet de déconnecter de la civilisation. Sonny était très disponible avant et pendant le séjour. Adresse à recommander sans hésitation. D'autant qu'il y a une belle terrasse qui doit être bien agréable à l'été. Merci Sonny!

Ce logement est parfait, proche de l'autoroute A20, entièrement équipé et refait à neuf, calme, pratique, joli, confortable... L'accueil ne peut pas être mieux. Pain, vin, café, thé, bières au frigo, serviettes fournies. Sonny est une hôte exceptionnelle et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

A wonderful home from home. We found the Gite to be clean and comfortable and a good size. It is set in lovely countryside but within 10 mins drive of the local towns and villages. We visited in the wintertime and the wood burner made for a warm and cosy stay. The communication with the owners was great. I would certainly use this accommodation again.

We had a fantastic, relaxing week at Julia's property in July 2016. We stayed in gite no 2 which was perfect for us - clean on arrival and with everything we needed, and just like the pictures on the listing. We had all the information we needed both before and during our visit. The gite is in a large garden with loads of room for our children to play and there were plenty of games provided to keep them busy. The pool is also great and we spent a lot of time there. The gite itself is in a small rural hamlet, so a car is essential and is about a 5 minute drive to the nearest small town.

Super acceuil, bel endroit, grand jardin et chambre vaste. Joel et Marie Christine ont été très flexibles et nous ont permis d'arriver plus tot. Nous avons eu une totale indépendance (salle de bains et toilettes que pour nous, entrée separée) et un copieux petit déjeuner préparé par Marie Christine avec confitures maison. Joel a été de très bon conseil et nous a meme accompagné quand ce fut nécéssaire (en direction d'un petit bourg pas dans le gps ;-) ) A recommander pour une totale tranquillité!

Sam and Linda were great hosts during our month long stay in May. They made us very welcome and were happy to offer good advice when needed. They pointed out decent restaurants and various shops that would be useful to us. The accommodation was great. Clean and very comfortable. Nice large bedroom and shower. It was also nice having a garden to sit out in and share drinks with Sam and Linda. We stayed there with our dog Binks who soon became Sam's best friend. The accommodation is in a really good area. Close to a small supermarket, bars, shops, restuarant, leisure lake and the motorway network for travelling. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. They knew we were busy in the process of moving to our own home and even delighted us with a home cooked meal one evening. It was a lovely surprise and meant I didn't have to cook when we were shattered. I would truly recommend a stay here. The description was spot on and pet friendly. Well worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Nous avons passé un bien joli week-end au calme dans ce petit village de cette belle région avec nos bouledogue français accueilli par la maîtresse de maison et son accent anglais , LINDA. La maison sur 2 niveaux est spacieuse , bien agencée , tout y est. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location aux amoureux de la nature.
