My boyfriend and I spent a very relaxing weekend away at the Riverside apartment. Great location and lovely hosts.

Peter and Louise were excellent hosts who catered to our late arrival, gave us wonderful advice on where to ride our bikes and were hospitable and friendly. It is a beautiful location and the loft has a warm and cozy feel.

This was a pretty easy stay for us. There were no issues at all. We had to borrow a pair of tweezers when I contracted a couple of ticks after a bushwalk and Louise kindly came to us later to provide us with some aerogard for future walks and some cream to stop the inflammation on the bites. Peter and Louise were extremely friendly, felt we had known them for years. Very accommodating. Would go back there without issue.

Peter and Louise were great hosts. Communication with them was excellent, the cottage was beautiful, spotless accomodation, beautiful surrounds and a very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering a getaway. We had a great time.

We loved our stay on this beautiful farm. Marc and Jenny were the perfect hosts and it was the perfect, peaceful getaway. We loved that Marc and Jenny shared their knowledge of the farm and living an organic life as well as feeding the gorgeous animals. Clean and very comfortable loft- and the air conditioning was perfect in the middle of summer - thanks for a wonderful stay!

Marc was such a lovely host and made us feel so welcome. He let us become such a part of the farm by feeding all the animals and encouraged us to take from the veggie gardens.

I sent my parents to Marc and Jenny's as a gift and they had an absolute blast! They really enjoyed the relaxed and laid back feel of the place. Marc and Jenny were great hosts allowing them to participate in as much or as little on the farm as they wanted. They are planning to go back already and mum wants to take Marc's raw vegan lessons since she loved his raw museli!!

Marc met us with a big smile on arrival. We were in Berry for the weekend attending a wedding and to be honest, catch up on sleep after a busy few months. The property, animals and vibe was tranquil and comfortable. This is a divine place to relax. Back 2 Earth is close to town (7 minutes by car) but far enough away from the worries and stresses of the world. We didn’t have mobile reception (Optus) in the cosy loft, so it was a great opportunity to rest and relax. Everything we could ever want was on offer, a duckling, bunnies, and miniature horses, board games and DVDs, and high quality toiletries. Endless books to get lost in. It was a wonderful place to connect with nature and each other. Many thanks for having us Marc and Jenny.

Great place to get away from Sydney and enjoy a different kind of experience. It was wonderful being able to interact with the animals and Marc's raw vegan breakfast was delicious. We had a great time!

Wow! What can I say?! This little slice of "Eden" was gorgeous! From friendly chickens that follow you around, scrumptuous fruit and veg from the garden, champagne in the orchard, a designer lift with everything you could need, wind in the willow trees, to an absolutely welcoming host who offers as much or as little advice as you need. We had a splendid few days and would highly recommend this treasure to anyone who loves the outdoors, fresh, homegrown food, luxury accommodation and is after a good relax. Thanks so much!

A delightful place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful, the breakfast plentiful and wholesome. And the resident chickens provided hours of entertainment! Would highly recommend. Can't wait for our next south coast adventure!

We had an amazing stay at the old schoolhouse loft. Jenny was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make out stay enjoyable. She thought of everything from the home made jams to fresh eggs. It was an amazing experience for our daughters first Easter. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to visit against soon.

I can't rave enough about The Loft at the Old Schoolhouse! The accommodation was immaculate and the breakfasts provided were fabulous. I felt completely at home and relaxed the moment I arrived. Jenny is a perfect host; friendly, hospitable. Just above and beyond what I would have expected. Loved the veggie gardens - this was a bit of an education - a yummy one at that and the chickens provided great fresh eggs daily. In the immortal words of Arnie - "I'll be back".

In a word...Wonderful. Beautiful environs which reflect a total attention to detail by Jen. The garden is beautiful and the produce amazing. We loved this welcoming retreat and seriously found it hard to leave.

Jenny was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The loft was beautiful and very well equipped - we enjoyed the fresh berries, eggs and honey! The property is in a quiet rural part of town but very close to Milton town and coastal beaches. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again when next visiting.

The Foxground property is incredible - both the location and the accommodation that Joe and Maura have built. We had a fantastic time relaxing in the hills, and cooking in the great little kitchen in the cottage. Even the drive to the property is an experience - winding in and out of rainforests and over creeks. I highly recommend visiting!

This is an exceptionally peaceful and beautiful location for those who want to get away from it all. Very comfortable living / bedroom space. I loved being able to wander through the garden that Maura has built up and to walk to top of Saddleback ridge then up to Hoddles track. Maura and Joe made me feel very welcome with some delicious home made delights such as bread, jam, chocolates slices......

This was a wonderful getaway - everything was exactly as described on the website. Maura and Joe are very generous hosts - even lending me a cake mixer to make my husband a birthday cake! Their property is absolutely beautiful and I just wish that we had more time to explore. There is a beautiful walking trail with a great view and lovely areas to picnic in (picnic basket and rug provided by Maura!). Thanks for a lovely and relaxing night/day.

Maura and Joe's place was absolutely amazing! The whole property is so special, and I feel very spoilt to have experienced it. The view is breathtaking and if you feel adventurous the hike up to the top of their place has an even more spectacular one (I didn't think it was possible). Make sure you take in the kangaroos sunning themselves on the way past. I was also lucky enough to see a lyrebird along the trail. The cottage is fab and is exactly how it is in the photo's. The sheets were amazing! Maura's little touches of home baked bread, treats, home grown eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, milk, butter were lovely. The flowers fresh from the garden were gorgeous! Joe gave me some artichokes and welcomed me to other things in the vegetable garden. Maura and Joe were wonderful hosts and Glengariff house is a must see!

We stayed recently with Maura and Joe at their beautiful property at Foxground. While we were attracted by the beautiful views and bush of the escarpment we had not anticipated such warm and helpful hosts – Maura thought of everything we might need and was there to answer all our questions and provide helpful advice about the best walks on the property. We have never slept so well as in the lovely big bed upstairs and was amazed at all the lovely finishes in the rooms, the carefully chosen furnishings and all the little touches that made the weekend so enjoyable, like a stocked fridge and tasty home-made food. The property itself is amazing - unbeatable views out over the ocean, lyrebirds darting across the road on the fantastic drive up to the property, and easy access to multiple walks in rainforest or on the escarpment above. We have thoroughly recommend staying to everyone we know - 10 thumbs up!!!

This place is amazing!! Absolutely loved our stay here, Maura and Joe were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Loved the breakfast that was given to us especially the bread that Maura baked herself and loved exploring the grounds and surrounding rainforest. The place was comfortable, peaceful, relaxing and cosy, loved the little touches Maura added such as the fresh flowers, bottle of wine and picnic basket. Highly recommended!!

My family and I had a 2 night stay at The Old Barn for a nearby horse event. It is located on a farm just outside Sutton Forest. The accommodation was as described - very clean and very comfortable. Mark was a generous and welcoming host. Communications were great. Only thing to note is that there is very little mobile phone service (Telstra) at the accommodation - fine if you're wanting to disconnect but would be disappointing if you were relying on it. Wifi was not available I would definitely choose to stay here again. It was really lovely!

Vivienne's tenants Mel and Lindsey were really welcoming and we're great hosts. They even made us a special breakfast tray complete with fresh bread, coffee and eggs from the chickens in the garden! The room is on the top floor and is huge with a really comfy bed and lovely light coming in. The decor inside the house is gorgeous as are the the views out to sea from every window and from the hammock on the terrace. Would definitely recommend!

The ambience is just great. Great value all around.

Viv's house is cosy, welcoming, and excellently situated - close to the beach, convenient transit, and with amazing views of the sea and the escarpment. My bedroom in the loft was well-lit and perfect as a writing retreat with a large, comfortable bed, a desk, and a lot of storage space for clothing, etc. Viv was warm and generous, a great conversationalist, and just a lovely host all around, as was Frank (whom I didn't see as frequently), but they were never intrusive. I was able to get a lot of work done in my room during the four weeks I stayed at the house. I stayed in winter and when I mentioned I might be cold Viv provided me with not one, but two electric blankets, and offered me an electric heater, as well as a kettle for tea. The breakfasts are large with a variety of offerings including what seemed to be a bottomless bowl of fruit, which I really appreciated. There were also two friendly bunnies and two chickens in the backyard which was terrific when I needed an animal fix. I had just a wonderful time and will be sure to stay there again when I'm back in the area.

I had the most wonderful time at Viv's place and Mel and Lindsay made me feel so welcome. The room itself is spacious, the bed is SO comfortable and the sunlight windows in the roof have direct views over the coastline and ocean! The communal living and bathroom spaces are also huge and cosy and beautifully decorated. Delicious breaky ingredients and coffee/tea were provided and I was able to cook for myself at other meal times in their lovely kitchen. The house is in an amazing location, on top of a hill with the rocky escarpment on one side and the ocean on the other. I didn't want to leave! Thanks for the best time, I'll be back.

Vivianne was a friendly and welcoming host and we were pleased to have been so well hosted at such short notice. The description of her loft room is very accurate and we very much enjoyed a peaceful evening with wonderful views of the coastline and the stars! The bed was very comfortable and the house clean and cosy. Our cavoodle Sao was also made welcome and breakfast was a choice of lovely cereals, fresh fruit and toasts and spreads. We would love to have stayed longer and highly recommend Viviannes accommodation.

Viv was a superb host - generous, laid back and friendly. We felt totally comfortable and relaxed. The house has commanding views over the ocean. We look forward to returning.

Vivianne's place is brilliant. Beautiful views, comfy room and bed in a very nice character filled home. Vivianne was away but Eleanor made me feel very welcome and comfortable for my entire stay (even their chickens and rabbits are friendly!). It will be on the top of my list for return trips to this lovely part of the south coast.
