The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. The small holiday apartment is on the edge of the residential area near Lake Ruschweiler. (about 4 minutes walking time). Lake Constance can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. A nature experience for bikers and hikers is the Pfrungerried nature reserve. Between the mountains Höchsten and Gehrenberg lies the so-called "Valley of Love" (Deggenhausertal) with a breathtaking panorama of Lake Constance that will make your soul smile. Pfullendorf (approx. 15 min.) also has a lot to offer.

Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a 2-person sofa bed, a reading corner, a modern bathroom, and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have great views of the Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various Shops, bakeries and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance) and yet quiet area. You are welcome to use the garden. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes walking distance.

Illmensee is a very good starting point for attractive leisure activities, such as the lake park with football golf and water skiing, which can be reached in 15 minutes. You can reach the Ravensburger Spieleland in about 30 minutes.

I am very happy to provide my spacious new apartment as a holiday accommodation. The apartment is completely barrier-free. It has a step-free access to the house, has an underhandable kitchen, the shower is completely on the ground floor and the terrace is also easily accessible. The Ruschweilersee is in the immediate vicinity and is within walking distance in about five minutes. Shopping is available in Illmensee 1 km or Wilhelmsdorf, 5 km away.

Time to relax !

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und liegt mit ihrer Ausrichtung perfekt um den Sonnenuntergang auf der Terrasse zu genießen. Für den Kurzurlaub ist alles vorhanden um entspannte Tage zu verbringen. Illmensee selber hat dafür auch alles zu bieten. Vom wunderschönen See für erholsame Spaziergänge, verschiedene Speiselokale und eine kultige Gaststätte mit ausgezeichnetem Biergarten.
