Places to stay in Hudson
Summon your inner seafarer at this cheery home with nautical inspired decor. The residence showcases original design features, wood flooring, tasteful furnishings, and a backyard patio with a hammock, BBQ, and dining space.
Legend has it that this is an old Cape Cod house that was brought to Hudson when the whaling industry began to flourish. So we dubbed the upper apartment "Captain's Quarters" and had boatloads of fun bringing its nautical theme to life. A stylish master bedroom is decorated in soothing, seafaring tones of blue, and the bonus room with XL twin mattress gives you extra room for little ones or extra guests. The adjacent bathroom has both a shower and a claw-foot tub is perfect for luxuriating with a good book or a glass of wine. The apartment is comfortable and private, with top-notch finishes throughout, luxe linens, and a fully stocked kitchen perfect for whipping up a gourmet meal. Wander into the gorgeous garden and catch sight of the many different birds that pass through, or walk three blocks to the nearby Warren Street to enjoy lunch at one of many restaurants before you amble through shops ranging from antique sellers to organic toy stores to boutique perfumeries.
The property is just 3 blocks from Warren Street, the heart of historical Hudson. There are a number of restaurants, shops, and much more to discover along its picturesque streets.
  • Really lovely home, beautiful space & close to Warren Street. Great value & we will be booking again when in Hudson.

  • Our stay was short and sweet. A quaint space to run away to from the city. It was just what the doctor prescribed

  • Wonderful place in a wonderful town. The patio/backyard was a huge plus for our dog. Would definitely return.

  • Great place for a few nights in Hudson. Julia and Juan were super flexible with our check-out time and were great at communicating. The only downside was the mattress in the main bedroom - it awkwardly curved in the middle and my fiancé and I didn't sleep great. Otherwise, we had everything we needed!

    Maddie2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment, clean, and easy to access!

  • Close to downtown and quite charming! Bonus points for having a working grill!

  • Amazing experience! It was our first trip to Hudson and this place was a perfect representation to its creative and thoughtful community. We loved everything - the design, the ambiance, location and little welcoming details! Thank you so much! We hope to be back soon!

  • This was wonderful! I’m a writer and just needed to focus and it was the perfect place to relax, get some work done, sit outside and also get to enjoy Hudson. The tips on where to shop and eat were very helpful, esp during this time!

  • Cute apartment located in a perfect location in Hudson. Communication with Michael was fast and easy and same goes for the check-in/check-out. Thanks for letting stay!

    Amal2020-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • I had a very nice and comfortable stay at Michael's place. The the decor and character of this Airbnb is very unique and I mean that in a positive way. The apartment is situated on the lower level inside of a townhouse. Despite being on the lower level I never heard much of any noise coming from the upstairs apartment. The apartment has its own entrance and is private which is a plus. The apartment is quite spacious with a small make shift kitchen (microwave, mini refrigerator, Nespresso, electric water boiler). The apartment isn't huge but for 2-3 people it a perfect size, there's also a daybed in the first room that has pull out mattress so it is possible to accommodate more guest. At the back end of the apartment opposite the bedroom there is a small patio area that is quite enjoyable especially on sunny days. It's a perfect area to go outside and have a cup of coffee, and enjoy your meal. I found myself out on the patio quite a bit as it was very peaceful and secluded. So all in all I really like Michael's place. I liked the eclectic decor, the bevy of books, the Apple TV that was signed into Netflix for easy viewing, not to mention the Nespresso maker in the kitchen that makes a great cup of coffee, and I almost forgot, I really was liking the heated floors throughout the apartment (even the bathroom) that's easily controlled by Google nest. The surrounding area is beautiful with two churches on each end of the block, post office down the block and nearby stores, bars and restaurants that are a short 10 minutes walk or just a 3 to 4 minute car ride. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area, as I mentioned the kitchen is small but If you're not planning to do your own cooking and can get by with a mini fridge and microwave this place is really worth checking out.

  • had to cancel but michael was super accommodating and understaning!

    George2020-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • This review is about Michael who was able to go far and beyond to help us out with our unexpected circumstances. So it's really about the host of this property. Thanks Michael again.

    Dmitry2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Such a unique space! We truly enjoyed the homey feel of this apartment. The occasion we were traveling for was not a happy one, and it was comforting to come “home” at night. Mr. Michael was very accommodating to rent us his space during such uncertain times. Check in and check out were a breeze and communication was excellent!

    Kathy2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is the cutest little apartment in the best location. We went in the winter, and the heated floors were SUCH a treat. Great for a cozy getaway from the city. Michael also had great recommendations for the area. We will be back!

  • This is a great home base for visiting Hudson. The location is very central yet also quiet. The place was super clean and tidy with nice amenities. Mister Michael was also really helpful, easy to reach and gave helpful suggestions for visiting the town. Highly recommend!

Beautiful renovated carriage house with access to upstairs lounge space and courtyard. A secluded space indoors and out. Extremely convenient to the best Hudson has to offer. Eclectic mix of modern and Asian furnishing, tasteful and very comfortable. Please note ***THE CARRIAGE HOUSE IS CLEANED BY A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING SERVICE AFTER EACH VISIT FOR YOUR SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND***
This traditional carriage house is newly renovated into a beautiful two story living space. It's a hidden funky space that's close to Warren, yet close to everything. The physical address is 527 Warren, but, guests access this hidden gem off Cherry Alley. The spacious bedroom with a modest en suite 3/4 bath on the ground floor opens out to the private garden. High ceilings, exposed brick and lots of light make this a special place to wake up. The outside staircase will lead guests to the upstairs living room/lounge area equipped with a water cooler, coffee and tea maker and a mini fridge. A great place to relax in the evenings, play a record on the turntable or have a glass of wine out on the private porch. The Juliet balcony is a unique feature. The space is suitable for entertaining a few friends or having a business meeting. It is not a cook-in kitchen, just the basics: cold/hot water cooler, mini fridge, and Keurig beverage machine with a variety of coffees and teas. Asian, African and Modern art from the owners collection add to the beauty and charm.
Hudson is a beautiful and lively small city with a long and rich history. As we are located on Warren Street our guests have just a short walk to most of the restaurants, shops and galleries. A longer walk will take you to a park on the Hudson river. Above all, we hope guests find the time to unplug and take in all that Hudson has to offer for a minimalist, yet, invigorating escape. There is so much eating, shopping and exploring to do it will not fit into this space. Check out: www dot (URL HIDDEN) for a complete listing of all Hudson has to offer.
  • Easy weekend getaway! Hosts were flexible and offered good recommendations. Fireplaces give a nice touch.

  • Great location and cozy. Very nice hosts. Fireplace and courtyard are lovely.

    Calum2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this cute place to anyone looking to escape upstate! Can’t beat the location in the heart of Warren st, walking distance to all the best restaurants, shops and bars! Everything was clearly communicated on how to operate the fire place, record player, etc. Such a fantastic night — thanks Sam for being so accommodating! Looking forward to coming back. Happy New Year!

    Devon2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The carriage house was a great find! We’ve always been intrigued by garage houses so it was awesome to finally stay in one. The gas fire heated the entire space, which was great because it was freezing outside when we stayed. Sam suggested bringing an eye mask because it can get bright in the morning, which was an excellent idea. Comfortable bed, convenient location, great experience!

    Laura2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was a cool, funky spot!! PERFECT location, and it's beautifully decorated. I had a great few days of writing there. I would definitely heed the warning re: light sleepers -- it's pretty bright in the AM! Also note that there is no kitchen!

    Stephanie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sam’s place is in a great location and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and the fire made it really cosy. We also enjoyed having the extra space upstairs to work and hang out. She was also really accommodating and let us check out late as no one else was checking in. Thanks Sam!

    Hannah2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • You couldn't get a better location than this. It's really in the heart of Hudson, walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants. Cool space with interesting design and very easy to access.

    Hudson, NY, United States

Stay a long weekend or a full week in our charming 1890's former captain's home in the historic riverfront village of Athens NY, directly across the river from the town of Hudson.
The house sleeps 4 people upstairs in two private bedrooms and 2 more in the living room with a convertible sleeper sofa. There are 2 full baths upstairs -- one is decidedly modern with a state of the art glass shower, while the other hearkens to the house's glory days and features a clawfoot tub with original brass fixtures. Downstairs offers a full cook's kitchen, dining area and living room centered around a Danish Morso wood burning stove -- plus a cozy front porch for your morning coffee and a decked outdoor dining area in the rear, with barbecue. We have the luxury of being situated on a double lot, so we have a large private/fenced garden and we also grow our own herbs and vegetables on our quarter acre. Privacy, comfort & adventures await! The new Sauna is available for an additional fee of $30 a day. Please let us know at the time of the booking if you are planning to use it. It's quite amazing by the way! Walking distance to Athens' restaurants and the riverfront park, and a short drive to the town of Hudson which features great shops and antiques stores, never mind fabulous restaurants and a famous music scene (as illustrated by Rolling Stone magazine just last year!). Skiing, hiking, fishing, and secret swimming-holes are also close by. You are a stone's throw from both culture and outdoor activities. Short transit to both the Berkshires and the Catskills. Other nearby attractions include a nature trail park at the Hudson waterfront just 5 minutes drive, the Olana state historic site, the Thomas Cole house, the Hudson-Chatham Winery, Old Chatham Sheepherding Co., Bard College, FASNY Firefighting museum, Clermont State Park and Spruce Ridge Alpaca Farm. During the season, pick your own apples at Love Apple Orchard; strawberries, raspberries or blueberries at Thompson Finch Farm; or choose from a large selection of local produce Black Horse Farm. Biodynamic produce is available at Hawthorne Valley Farm. There is an Amtrak station in Hudson 15 minutes away.

  • Our stay was perfect. Lovely house with everything you need. Highly recommended if you need to escape the city for few days.

  • A unique home in a historic town. Squeaky clean, peaceful, and quiet. The sauna and fireplace made it easy to relax after hiking on the beautiful trails only a short drive away.

  • Nice cozy getaway from the city!

    Soeun & Rolando2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is a DREAM. Cozy living room with a fireplace, lovely sauna, huge bathtub - all perfect for a getaway weekend with a loved one. If coming from NYC, I would recommend taking a car - we tried to rely on Ubers and taxis in the area, which was a bit inconvenient. Sam was incredibly attentive to any and all of our needs the entire time, I cannot recommend this stay enough!

    Ondine2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool “vintage” household with all the basic modern amenities to stay warm and comfortable. House tells its own story with every room you walk in. We took a short trip and didnt get to take full advantage of all our surroundings but we certainly enjoyed disconnecting from distractions for a couple days with our young family and getting to spend more positive times together. Definitely would like to check the place out in late Spring or Fall to really see the beauty of the Hudson.

    Christopher2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house in a great location that felt secluded and private but was convenient to tons of restaurants and things to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.

    Ben2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Sam's place. It was exactly as described/depicted. There isn't too much happening in Athens but it was a short cab ride into Hudson where there's a lot of great shops and restaurants. The sauna is absolutely amazing and well worth the extra cost! I would definitely stay at Sams place again :)

    Kristen2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this place - a true gem. It is so cozy and perfectly located a quick 20 min drive to Hudson. The home is spacious and can’t recommend the sauna enough. Planning another trip back soon!

This beautiful, newly renovated first floor in an 1865 Farm House will invite you with its open space, craftsmanship and convenience to downtown Hudson (two blocks from Warren Street and all the trendy restaurants and antique shops), as well as a large outdoor patio backyard complete with dining table and chairs to enjoy the quiet views. The backyard is lush with ferns, hostas and flowers. Access to the basement includes extra storage space & washer and dryer.
Brand new kitchen. Brand new bathroom. King size bed. Plenty of light. Clean, cozy, perfect for a week or weekend getaway.
Since you are literally two blocks from Warren Street, be sure to check out: Moto, for the best coffee; Cascades, for the best lunch sandwiches; Talbott and Arding for the upscale cheese, meats and lunch specials; as well as an array of bars, restaurants and shops. Further up Warren is my favorite restaurant: Hudson Food Studio.
  • Our week in Hudson was great! This place is very comfortable and in close proximity to all kinds of shops, restaurants, etc. Adam also is a very professional and attentive host with excellent communication. Highly recommended!

    Mac2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay during our weekend in Hudson! Easy walk to Warren St and Adam gave great recommendations for bars and restaurants. The bed was super comfortable and the apt is cute and clean. Highly recommend!

    Heather2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable spot. No street noise is audible from the apartment. The walk to the apartment from Warren Street after dark is very quiet and poorly lit. I never felt unsafe (I was with my partner) but wanted to put it out there for anyone traveling alone.

    Shelby2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for a weekend trip in close proximity to Warren St. Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months. Props to Adam and his team for a great stay!

    Nick2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Adams place is great! Well located, easy to check in, Adam is very communicative and helpful. The bed is also super comfortable. Would come back.

    Nadia2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Adam's house is a perfect place to relax in Hudson. The home is extremely warm and cozy with a most spacious and comfortable king size bed. Adam was quick with recommendations in advance, timely responses during the stay, and generous amenities in the house. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone contemplating a weekend in Hudson!

    Jack2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the apartment was lovely and exactly what we were looking for. The apartment itself was beautiful and having the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying the unexpected good weather. The location is ideal for exploring Warren Street as it's only a quick walk away. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Hudson!

  • Tracy’s place was better than the photos! She was super quick responding to accommodate us after our other place didn’t work out. She was helpful in recommending places close by for food given the circumstances with a lot of places being closed. We hope to come back soon for longer than we were able to stay this time.

    Samantha2020-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • The place is cozy in the absolute best way possible and the Nest thermostat kept the space to the perfect temperature. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and that bathroom is fantastic!!! The location was perfect - just off the main street and so close to the lake/park so it was perfect to walk with our dog. If you're planning to do a lot of cooking, I'd recommend dropping a note to Tracy to see if they have all the tools you're hoping to use like a cheese grater or zester (we had to get creative). Great place for any time of year and more than worth the price.

    Michael2020-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tracy was an outstandingly accommodating host. The apartment itself is spacious, stylish, and in a great location. We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay by one day.

    Rachel2020-04-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space. Loved all the elegant touches that really made it stand out. Close to everything. Just wish we had come during a time when we could take advantage of awesome Hudson. One thing I will say is that it was a bit noisy due to the train at times, but it didn’t bother me much. My partner who is usually a heavy sleep was the one woken up. Pillows were not my favorite, no support, but bed was very comfy. Tracy was easy to reach also—majorly important and she was very sweet.

    Marissa2020-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, amazingly clean and everything one needs for a quick or extended stay in Hudson. Tracy was patient and very helpful as a host. Hudson is the cutest town, and everyone super friendly. Bed was fantastic! Plenty of room for additional guest or couple

    Lulu2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Tracy’s townhome! Everything about the townhome was exactly as pictured and advertised. It was a great balance between old school and updated. Parking was easy (and free!). The townhome was conveniently located to downtown and the big box stores like Walmart and shoprite. Tracy’s list of suggested restaurants and information about the area came in handy many times! It was the perfect weekend getaway location- we can’t wait to go back!

    Adolfo2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful apartment to explore Hudson. Well designed, comfortable, and gorgeous renovated kitchen and bath. A quick walk to Warren Street's shops and restaurants. Definitely check out The Maker Hotel for drinks! Would definitely stay here again.

    Diana2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • It was perfect. Sparkling clean and exactly as pictured. It was extremely comfortable. Great location. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed some of Tracy suggestions. WM Farmer being my favorite. My dogs were super happy there also. We hope to be back soon!!

Private Room / Private Entrance / Private Bathroom - full shower Ground Floor Studio Amenities: Mini-Fridge, Coffee-maker/coffee, etc. included, Microwave, Toaster oven, Lock/safe, SmartTV (Hulu and Netflix), Wifi, COOKIES! Up-and-coming Hudson street....two short blocks to center of town. PET-FRIENDLY! Drag queen owned and operated, and lives on premise. This space is registered with the City of Hudson License Number 151, PIDN: L10040. A 4% Lodging Tax is included in your room rate.
Private Entrance, Private Full Bath within walking distance to all of Hudson! Queen-sized bed. The room is approximately 15' x 18'. This is a BUDGET space in the TRANSITIONAL part of town - clean and comfortable and a short two-block walk to all that Hudson has to offer - Club Helsinki, The Maker, Or Bar, coffee shops, restaurants - all within a five minute walk. This is a space for people who enjoy their privacy - with a private entrance and a private bath. If you need anything, text me, I live upstairs with my two pups. The space is located on State Street between 3rd and 4th, around the corner from Club Helsinki and a stone's throw to Warren Street. Use the park two doors down to walk to the staircase and down to Warren Street - two short blocks, a few minutes away. The "history" of the space: During the Revolutionary War, the British attacked Nantucket and stole the whale oil. The Quaker whalers were like, 'Forget this, we're outta here!' They bought land in upstate New York and figured, 'Hey, we're traveling thousands of miles on the ocean getting these whales, what's another hundred miles up he Hudson River?' It's a whaling town in upstate New York, and that's why you'll see whales on the signs. They picked up everything and moved and founded Hudson - including (and this is debatable) their HOUSES!! (At least their STYLE of Nantucket/Cape Cod box houses with a second floor of eyebrow windows.) This house is called a "floater", floating over on a whale boat from Nantucket. It's around 200 years old. You're staying in the old kitchen (heat rises to warm the rest of the house) and you'll find a bread oven behind the latched panel. Totally renovated in 2015. Radiant heat coils are under the cement floor. Hot Water on-demand. Original wood panels and new bathroom. Original stairs showing 200 years of wear and tear. Enjoy!
State Street is an up-and-coming Hudson street, similar to what most of Hudson was like about fifteen years ago, prior to all the renovations. I feel safe walking around this neighborhood, it's a small town. This is a simple, comfortable space. There's a little park two doors down that will take you to the staircase and two short blocks to the middle of Warren Street and the Opera House, making it an ideal central location. Shop up and down beautiful Warren Street - go out to Club Helsinki around the corner! Most of Hudson is within walking distance - restaurants, bars, shops! There are at least a half-dozen restaurants within a two block radius and many more in the rest of town.
  • My second time staying at rich/trixies and i enjoyed just as much as my first time.

    Peggy2020-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Place is super cute and clean. Bed was very comfortable and my favorite was the shower, very spacious. Place has all you can possibly need, only there is no stove in case you need to cook something that requires more than microwave or small portable oven. Its self check-in so we didnt have to bother the host about time of our arrival. Its pet friendly and I appreciated the puppy bowls. Place is on quiet street all you can hear are tho host’s puppies upstairs when playing which we didnt mind, only my doggo wanted to join so much haha. Would definitely recommend.

    Denisa2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at rich/trixies. The place was clean and the host was very quick to respond to any questions i had. The homemade cookies were delicious and i was happy to see that rich/trixie supplied dog bowls to use since i brought my dog with me but not his dog dish. I would definitely recommend the space and would enjoy staying again.

    Peggy2020-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • I highly suggest staying here! The host, Rich, is a really wonderful guy! He's very nice and welcoming. When it comes to hospitality he really goes the extra mile. During your stay, you'll be very comfortable and relaxed. The room itself is very clean, comfy and cozy. I would give more than five stars if I could!

    Joseph2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Trixie’s place is perfect for one person or a couple. It’s beautifully furnished, unique, cozy, well equipped, and conveniently located for walking around town or driving further afield. Trixie is also a phenomenal host.

  • I absolutely loved my stay. The place was VERY clean and Rich was very responsive and happy to answer any questions. When confirming my stay I got a whole bunch of great tips for stuff to do or see around town. The location is hard to beat too. Within walking distance of everything and despite some traffic noise it gets real quite in the evening/night. I also love how the floor is kept so warm so walking around in the morning is great. The big comfortable bed is also very clean, plenty of room for two or stretch out and enjoy. Fridge, microwave and coffee is available and the best part was the fresh cookies waiting for me when I got in... They were heavenly! I found Hudson to be a great little town and will visit again, I can only hope to stay here again

  • I highly recommend staying at Rich/Trixie's place during your stay in Hudson, NY. Always communicated with me quickly if there were any issues and gave great tips/recommendations for places to eat. The studio accommodation is perfect for solo travelers (or a duo). Everything was clean and tidy and well designed ( basically, the description above is 100% accurate). Very close (10-15 minute walk) to the Amtrak Station and less than 5 minutes away from Warren Street, the main street with all the shops and restaurants. When I come back to Hudson, I will definitely stay at Rich/Trixie's again! Also, the cookies were SO GOOD.

    Alexandra2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Trixie's is beautifully located in the heart of Hudson with access to all the fun things around, the place is stylish and very practical, and I had a chance to share all that coziness with my pup, plus ebjoyed free! cookies on top of it. I loved it and we will return.

The apartment is spacious, bright, peaceful and very private. There is a coded lock, and your own front entry and spacious front porch. Located on a quiet street, just slightly off the beaten path yet within a short walk to all of the best restaurants and shopping Hudson has to offer. A full kitchen will also allow for some chill out time or a family meal if that is more your speed. A beautiful and convenient refuge.
Use the secret garden! Lush tropical and private with a cozy grape vine surrounded patio, and winding garden path overhead, twinkling lights brighten up warm fall evenings. I may be outside on my second floor balcony but curtains and vines keep the two spaces separate.
It’s a peaceful pretty residential neighborhood
  • Claire was a great and gracious host, and went out of her way to be helpful!

    Mike2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a relaxing stay at Claire’s place for a week. Conveniently located near the center of town, it is in walking distance to many local restaurants and antique stores. The space is very bright and inviting which added to our great vacation! Got a lot of use out of her well equipped kitchen. Claire went above and beyond in responding to any questions we had during the trip. Would recommend highly!

  • This space is even better than showed on the pictures. It beyond exceeded our expectations. The decoration is tasteful and minimalistic. The location is in the heart of the city of Hudson, just walking distance of the best restaurants and markets. In addition, Victor (who takes care of the space), is such a wonderful man. Very thoughtful and helpful. We highly recommend this space and we are looking forward to coming back in the near future. Raquel

  • Thank you for being able to accommodate me during this time. I needed that mental break to get away from where I live and felt so comfortable and relaxed at the Airbnb. Thank you, Victor, for all your help with fixes and communication with keys and information. Hudson is beautiful. Had an amazing stay

    Max2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great spot in Hudson! My boyfriend and I went for a long weekend this winter and had an amazing time at the Mechanic's Studio. Smartly designed, amazing natural light, with full kitchen and comfy living space. We were able to cook full meals, kick back and read or just sleep in. Victor was incredibly communicative and responsive. We loved the studio's location, walking distance from everything - even the trek to Hudson Brewing - but tucked away from the main drag. Our favorites included brunch at Home/Made and cocktails at the Rivertown Lodge. We can't wait to visit again!

Way bigger discounts are available for whole Summer /fall stays. This country craftsman schoolhouse has 4 renovated 750 Sq. ft classroom lofts, each with it's own private back entrance. I guess there's no need to tout the perks of this place, being in a park setting, totally removed from any living soul with acres and acres to stroll and explore. For 3 day prior to your arrival, the place will remain empty and soulless after it's covid cleaning, to assure there isn't a live germ in the place
The cemetery that surrounds this Craftsmen 4 room School House is located in the midst of one of the most gorgeous historic cemeteries in all of America, and a short 15 minute walk to the Town square. Tailored after the cemeteries in Europe, it was created as a park to entice visitors. Many Hudson River School Painters made this their final resting place as well as famous inventors and titans of Industry. It is verily like walking through a 3 D history lesson.
I love that this place is a haven, a quiet place for contemplation, writing or artful pursuits and that it is a 10 minute walk to Warren street and all its delights!!! This place is also IDEAL for the athletic. There are miles of winding paths everywhere.... FOR OUR WINTER GUESTS: a 10 minute walk in Winter can feel more like an hour when it's bitter cold. Remind whoever greets you to show you the shortcut through the cemetery and think twice about not just getting a taxi to Warren. its only a 2 minute drive .... There are no bad places to eat but some of my favorites are Le Gamin Country for breakfast or Lunch (Ive never had a bad meal there and the ambience is wonderful). and for take out I love The Taste of The Caribbean, right down the hill on the Square next to the St Charles. It's the best bang for your buck. $15 for a plate of food you'll be finishing the next morning with your eggs ..Curry Goat, pulled or Barbequed chicken and Oxtail. SO good. BUT and THIS IS IMPORTANT: ask Anne Marie when you walk in, if she can accommodate within 7 minutes, and that you are in a hurry.. otherwise you might be there on Caribbean Time ;) There is also The Hudson Curry House if you like Indian... but it is on Fairview Ave, so you'd have to drive or cab it.. but it's only minutes away.
  • Laura was super easy to communicate with. Laura and Tiko ( one of her Cockatoos) greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. Laura’s place is very unique, it’s filled with art, we felt like living in the art museum. The high ceiling, humongous windows overlooking the cemetery add even more charm to the place. Location was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this places to anyone.

    Angela2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Laura Ann is an incredible host. It’d be hard to find a place as eccentric as the schoolhouse. The cemetery is actually BEAUTIFUL to walk around and location is everything - a short walk into town!

    Courtney2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Laura and her place are a perfect home base for exploring Hudson and the surrounding area! Laura was so quick and responsive to all our messages and the space is one of a kind

  • Laura Ann is a terrific host who provided us with great ideas for activities and restaurants. The apartment was visually amazing, filled with all sorts of fun art and huge windows. Bed is very comfortable. You can walk to town filled with great restaurants & antique shops & art galleries

  • The place was wonderful and Laura Ann was so hospitable and fun! We had such a lovely weekend in Hudson and I would definitely come back again!

    Emily2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Laura Ann’s Place! The cemetery schoolhouse is such an interesting building - beautiful high ceilings and a huge comfortable studio space with huge windows facing the cemetery. The decor is quirky and fun, I loved it. Laura Ann was so welcoming - as was her cockatoo, who hung out on her shoulder and was happy to greet us. Everything was super clean and the instructions were well thought out. The bed was big and very comfortable. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a screen between the bed and the living area to give it a bit more of a private feel. The shower is a bit narrow and the showerhead is set low - not a problem for me as I’m short but might be awkward if you’re tall. But the water was hot and there is a heating lamp to keep you warm in the bathroom! We appreciated the pastry she left for us every morning to tide us over until we got out to breakfast. You could walk to town easily in warm weather, though it was winter when we stayed so we drove (and there is ample parking). We visited Hudson, Catskill, and Saugerties. We also took walks in the beautiful cemetery - such a cool place to stay. I highly recommend it.

This light filled apartment is located just three blocks from Warren Street's restaurants and galleries. Originally built in the 1920's, this recently renovated apartment features 2BR, 1BA, and a full kitchen.
You can see the Catskills on a clear day from the front bay window of this large second floor apartment. There are two bedrooms, each sleep two guests. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room which sleeps two, and guests can close that room off for privacy. Full kitchen with basic necessities. Drip coffee maker, French press, toaster, stove, pots and pans, oven and fridge. If you plan to do some cooking you should bring any food items you'll need as we don't keep them stocked. Sorry, the backyard is not for guest use.
Hudson has some of the best farm to table food in the northeast, which is what brought us here. Have dinner at Backbar (Zak Pelaccio's new spot), drinks at Or, and lattes at Moto.
  • Spent a few weeks at Annabel's flat in the midst of a pandemic. Comfortable place, and very accommodating host. Would definitely recommend, even under normal circumstances;)

  • I absolutely loved my stay here. Annabel was very responsive and accommodating even at short notice and self check-in was very convenient. The apartment is furnished very tastefully with minimal Scandinavian decor. I really enjoyed playing music on the record player and there were several streaming services available on their Apple TV. I look forward to staying here again in the summer.

  • The space is perfectly cute we couldn’t have asked for more. Check in and check out is person-less and seamless with very minimal and clear instructions. It’s a short lovely walk into town and we went on morning jogs to a beautiful nature walk that Annabel recommended. Also Hudson is a gem.

  • About a 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street. The place was very spacious and cute. Very comfortable. Favorite surprise: The record player! We went out and bought an album from the record store (7 min walk)

    Roberto2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • I was here for a week during February. My whole purpose was to work on my book and man! was this space terrific for that. I had a little room at the front with a desk and a lamp and I was really able to focus in there. Bedroom was clean and simple and beds comfortable, just the kind of room to really sleep good in. The kitchen is spacious and I had all that I needed. I was worried I would be cold but there was ample heat, especially when I realized if I closed the two doors to the entrance hall it made a huge difference in keeping the living room and dining room warm. Neighbors were peaceful and quiet. Bathroom is clean and plenty of hot water, nice toiletries and natural light.

Thoroughly cleaned escape and place to socially distance in style and comfort. We are looking for longer term stays during this crazy time. This recently renovated home was originally an 1842 farmhouse. Cook in the new chef's kitchen, and lounge on comfy sofas. Grill on the gas BBQ out back and after dinner, relax by the gas outdoor fire. Memory foam mattresses and wonderful linens and pillows make this escape truly a home away from home- but better!
This completely remodeled home has gorgeous exposed whitewashed ceilings, high end birch floors and designer elements throughout. The downstairs has a large living room with a 55 inch TV with Netflix, Amazon TV and HBO and chrome cast, as well as an open concept dining room/kitchen and a half bath and laundry room. We say it can sleep 10 people, but note that there is 1 full bathroom and 1 half bath and there are 4 bedrooms. So it may be more comfortable to have 10 people if some of the people in your party are children. Upstairs you'll find four bedrooms, all with large closets. The bright and sunny master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress with a workspace and room to do some morning yoga! Or if you have a larger party, we can put a double mattress on the floor of this room if you'd like. Off the master (but also with it's own hallway entrance) is The Moroccan Room - a wonderfully cozy room with a double bed - perfect for curling up with a book, or for children to play and jump in. The bathroom has an oversized tub and luxury rain shower. The Deck Room has a queen bed, also with a memory foam mattress. The shining feature of this room are double french doors that open up to a private 150 SF deck complete with 2 lounge chairs. The Double Room has a full sized mattress and an extra large closet. Bright luxury linens warm up this wonderful room!
Hudson has been called “The Trendiest Town in New York State" by Conde Naste Traveller. It delivers a small-town vibe with the comforts of a lively city. The street itself is busy, with many nearby restaurants and stores to choose from.

My family and I live in the ground floor apartment and assure you that we will answer and address any questions or issues promptly. A bit of history: This grand Federal style house at 216-220 Warren Street was originally built, probably in the last decade of the 18th century, for Thomas Jenkins, who is believed to have been the richest of the original Proprietors. It was Thomas who, with his brother Seth, set out from Nantucket in 1783 to find a safe harbor for their vessels and those of other seafaring men from New England and found and purchased Claverack Landing. Tradition has it that, in the good Quaker community that was early Hudson, Thomas Jenkins was considered to be 'somewhat aristocratic' and was roundly criticized for the ostentation of his palatial home. In her Colonial Restoration and Old Upper Hudson Walking Tours, first published in 1984, Mrs. Granvil Hills tells us that 'the house was later divided into 2 dwellings.' It is definitely two dwellings today, but it is not entirely clear when the division happened. In 1848, more than half a century after it was built, the house became a school for young ladies. What Anna Bradbury has to say about the school in her History of the City of Hudson suggests that it had already been divided at that point. In 1848 the Misses Peake established a 'Young Ladies Seminary,' that for more than thirty years attracted the patronage of the best people of the city and vicinity. It was located at Number 216 Warren street with a fine schoolroom in the adjoining dwelling. Miss Elizabeth Peake, the head of the institution, was a person of superior mind and culture, and was the author of two very excellent books, one 'Pen Pictures of Europe,' and the other a 'History of the German Emperors,' which necessitated research in the great libraries of Germany, and exhibited great ability. In 1881, George Power, who owned the New York and Hudson Steamboat Company, the Hudson and Athens Ferry, and the Hudson and Catskill Ferry,This grand Federal style house at 216-220 Warren Street was originally built, probably in the last decade of the 18th century, for Thomas Jenkins, who is believed to have been the richest of the original Proprietors. In 1881, George Power, who owned the New York and Hudson Steamboat Company, the Hudson and Athens Ferry, and the Hudson and Catskill Ferry, moved from 400 State Street, where he had lived since 1865, to this house. Power was probably, in his time, one of the richest men in Hudson, and, according to the 1880 census, his household consisted of six adults besides himself--his wife, Adeline; four grown children, Emily (40), Ada (24), Kate (22), and Frank (18); and his widowed sister Mary Gaul--so it's hard to imagine that he would move from a building of such considerable size to half a house on Warren Street. Power seemed to have had a curious penchant--perhaps because there were so many women in his household--for living in buildings that had been occupied by schools for young women. Before he bought 400 State Street and made it his home, the building had been the Reverend J. B. Hague's Hudson Female Academy, and he moved to this house on Warren Street soon after it ceased being the Misses Peake's Young Ladies Seminary. In 1894, all or part of 216-220 Warren Street became the Howard Hotel, and so it remained until 1944. Some time after the Howard Hotel closed in 1944, the building where Savoia is now located was added, and a bar opened there named for Hudson's most notorious home-based industry. The building that started out as the grandest house in Hudson went through hard times in the 1980s and 1990s, but today, at more than two hundred years of age, it survives and thrives, although clearly as two separate and distinct parts.
  • We loved our stay at Fabrice’s! He was an exceptional host - allowing us to check in early and check out late to accommodate our train schedules. He always responded very quickly to all of our messages and requests. The place was sparkling clean and there were nice appreciated touches like coffee, creamer, cold water and sodas in the fridge. The location couldn’t be beat as it’s located on Warren St and was an easy walk to restaurants and stores. If we’re ever in Hudson again this is where we’d want to stay.

  • great place to stay, closed to restaurants and bars, plenty of sunlight, clean and tidy

    Aditya2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay. Very conveniently located to both the train station and all of the great restaurants, galleries and shops of Hudson. Comfortable, spacious and clean apartment - would definitely stay here again!

    Ned2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fabrice's place is amazing! Getting into the apartment was very smooth, all the communication up to our trip was excellent and once we walked into the apartment it immediately felt like a home. The space itself is beautiful (as you can see from the photos) and there are lots of small touches within the apartment that made it just that much better. It's also located right next to all kinds of amazing shops on Warren St (a special mention for the West Indies Grocery next door, they also have delicious take out). We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hudson.

    Paul2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding space. Conveniently located. Chic. Perfectly clean with high quality towels and bedding. Great WiFi and cable. Fabrice even goes the extra mile and provides refreshments and travel amenities. Highly recommend choosing this spot.

    David2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Fabrice's place was great! The location is good, right in the center of Hudson next to shops and restaurants and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

    Yuval2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Fabrice’s apartment is truly a gem. Much better than we had anticipated. Clean, comfortable, and stocked with extra drinks and toiletries. I would definitely recommend this spot as the place to stay for future travelers visiting Hudson as it is also located in the prime part of town.

    Kevin2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying at Fabrice’s place in Hudson. This was a weekend getaway from the city and the apartment was a short walk from the train station. It’s right on Warren Street with nearby restaurants and shopping (we checked out Rivertown Lodge, Makers Lounge, the Farmers Market on Saturday morning, and took a cab to Olde York Farm distillery). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

  • Our stay at Stephen's place was perfect! The apartment is exactly as pictured, with everything you need and ideally located, walking distance from the main street in Hudson. Communication was great and Stephen was very accommodating and helpful - we were there with our 9-month-old baby, and he offered to come pick us up at the train station, and even provided a crib for our son. Overall, we really liked our stay and look forward to being back soon!

A 19th century rowhouse only 2 blocks from Warren Street and a 10 minute walk from the Hudson Amtrak station. Located on up-and-coming State Street, this 2-story frame house sleeps 4 people and includes fast wifi, a comfortable workspace, Apple TV, bedding, bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. If you need accommodations for an additional one or two guests, please see our newest Airbnb listing, Hudson Rowhouse Number Two, which is located right next door to this one.
The inside of the house has been partially renovated with many original details intact and the facade has been recently restored. Originally built as a worker rowhouse, the place is very sunny with two stories: On the first floor there is a living room, kitchen and bathroom; on the second floor are two bedrooms and an office / dressing room with a desk and chair. The kitchen is set up and equipped for light cooking. Bathroom has towels, hand soap, shower soap, Q-tips and a Frette terry cloth bathrobe. Upstairs, the larger bedroom has a King size Serta Vera Wang luxury pillowtop mattress (plush top over firm) and the second bedroom has a Queen size Nest organic mattress (medium firm). There is a view of the garden, however the backyard and basement are not yet accessible to guests. Last but not least, the WiFi / broadband is very strong ... great for watching shows on your laptop (as the rowhouse doesn't yet have a TV). Apple TV is available on the flat screen in the living room.
The house is located on State Street and Fifth, just half a block from the new library and two blocks from Warren Street. You can walk from the Hudson Amtrak station; it's about 6 blocks. The street is very quiet. The house is located very close to the center of Warren Street ... and also 2 blocks from the new restaurant Abel and 3 blocks to Helsinki. Also 2 blocks from the rowhouse, you will find a choice of 3 coffee shops and also the town's local grocery store, Olde Hudson. A CVS is located within walking distance.

  • Dominic’s townhouse is a perfect home base for a trip to the Hudson valley! It’s a two floor townhouse, well laid out - it was just me and my partner and we were able to work remotely without tripping over each other, while feeling cozy and comfortable. We cooked a lot during our week’s stay and the kitchen was perfectly set up and well appointed for this. Convenient to downtown Hudson, and communication was easy with Dominic quick to respond. Would happily stay again!

    Beth2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a great location. Exactly as described. Very clean and spacious. Didn’t notice any street noise like others described, and felt very safe and just steps to Warren.

  • Good place, advertised

    Alexander2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Walkable from the train station and close to everything. The decor has many thoughtful historic touches which deepened our appreciation for the rowhouse itself. Really appreciated the amenities including coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper.

    Lisa2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is located a couple blocks away from the main drag, but there's a really cool library right next door that was once an armory. There's also a great vintage store called Five and Diamond right around the corner, although it wasn't open during my stay. I'd recommend taking a car if you're coming from the train and have a lot of luggage. It's a 20 minute walk, and a car is only $8. The space is cute and the king bed is very comfortable! The host is also flexible with check out times and communicates promptly. Overall, I recommend this if you're staying in Hudson.

  • Easy communication and the apartment is clean and spacious. My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend away from Manhattan and we found everything we needed at Vlad's. Location is good with the main street Warren an easy 5 min walk away. An added bonus is that the kitchen has a lot of basic kitchenware so we were able to cook a lot of our meals. Bed was comfortable but the room's floor is on a bit of a slant so I found myself rolling into the wall at night haha! This place is a good bang for your buck-- thanks Vlad for letting us stay here!

The location - close to the train station and shops/restaurants on warren street means you don't need a car if coming up for a day or two. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one would need for cooking. I really appreciated the coffee, and non-keurig coffee maker. Vlad's instructions were thorough and checking in was a breeze. Hudson is such a diverse place. This one block long street is full of little houses that are part of an historic working class district. It is a mixture of people including, artists, musicians, tech nerds, restaurant and service workers and folks like us. It is not all gentrified and polished and you need to be someone who is comfortable with diversity, which is what we love about Hudson.
  • Very nice space. Good host. Would come back again and use this next time I’m in Hudson.

  • This is a beautiful, very spacious apartment so close to Warren street. It was a great home base for our weekend. The Hudson guide in the unit was very helpful, as it was our first time to Hudson. Every detail in this place was picked with care, I loved all of the artworks and antiques. I love old houses, and this one has clearly been well taken care of. The street was so quiet and peaceful for our entire stay. Great value!

Recently renovated Victorian Town House in the heart of Historic Hudson. Wonderful for a weekend getaway for two - six. Just off Hudson's main street, Warren. Near best bakery, restaurants, coffee shops, and antique stores in Hudson.
A super clean, bright, and airy space. Centrally located in Hudson for easy access to all the town's offerings.
Hudson has the feel of Brooklyn, the East and West Village all in a eclectic little upstate town . Not unusual to be caught in a fashion shoot in one block and bump into your favorite screen star or writer in the next.
  • Our visit to Hudson was made perfect because of our wonderful stay in John’s home. It was all in the little touches that made us feel comfortable and cared for.

    Jordan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • John is an excellent host who takes guests' comfort into account at every turn: from the high-quality bedding to the welcoming decor, to the thoughtful touches of fresh fruit and other nutritious snacks. Decor and cleanliness are excellent. All of this keeps us coming back to John's home year after year.

    Jennifer2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, great location! John was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We'll be back :)

    Danutė2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • John's place was amazing! The location was walking distance from Warren Street with lots of cafes, shops, etc. The place was very clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

  • John is extremely punctual with any responses. He is very hospitable, making sure you have anything you could need at his home. The house is spacious and in a great location.

    Jacob2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • John’s place was great. It’s exactly what we expected. The thoughtful touches of coffee, waters, fruits, and even ramen noodles made it extra fun! We’d definitely want to stay at John’s place again.

    Will2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This townhouse is superbly furnished, with great style. John has thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with breakfast items and little snacks around the house. The beds are cozy with plump pillows and covers. We were there largely for a wedding, but if one were to really take advantage of the space I could imagine enjoying a coffee on the back sun porch.

    Marina2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • John's apartment is fabulous. Sparkling clean, nice touches with snacks and breakfast food, lovely accommodation. The back porch with lots of windows is a wonderful spot to have drinks or breakfast. Easy walking distance to the hot spots of Hudson. A real treasure!

Our well-appointed, first floor guest suite is a centrally-located, cozy place to stay in Hudson, just a 12 minute walk from the Amtrak train station, and ideal for those without the need for a kitchen who plan to eat out at the great restaurants within walking distance. Guests will enjoy staying in a home built in 1834 that has been tastefully updated and renovated, with high ceilings, a mix of modern and retro furniture, and a bedroom connected by French doors to a living room with sofa bed.
The guest suite is on the first floor and consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed, living room, and bathroom - there is no kitchen in this unit - though there is a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the living room. The guest suite is equipped with fast and reliable WiFi, as well as wired internet via an ethernet wall outlet, and a 40" Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video (there is no traditional cable/antenna TV service). The heat (via traditional radiators) is monitored and controlled by a smart Nest Thermostat, and the bedroom has a ceiling fan. There is a brand new window air conditioner in the bedroom. As of 6/1/2017, the quoted nightly rate includes the 4% Hudson lodging tax (listed as "community fee" in the quote breakdown). Needing more space or more bedrooms? This unit can be combined and connected with our "Updated Hudson 2 BR a block from Warren Street" (https://airbnb.com/h/union-and-court-2-bedroom-in-center-of-hudson-new-york) via a lockable pocket door, which has a full galley kitchen, 2 more bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small sitting room, and a porch. Have an even bigger group? We have another 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment upstairs (https://airbnb.com/h/union-and-court-3-bedroom-in-center-of-hudson-new-york), and the owner's unit, a 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom duplex (https://airbnb.com/h/union-and-court-luxury-2-bedroom-in-center-of-hudson-new-york), all in the same house...
We are located in the center of Hudson on Union Street between City Hall Place and West Court Street, just one block from all of the shops and restaurants on Warren Street.
  • Could not recommend this cozy little suite more!

  • It was nice and cozy.

  • We had a fantastic stay at Blaise’s place. Everything was well represented on Airbnb: the space is beautiful, tidy, and well located. Blaise was very communicative and we had a smooth check-in and out. I would happily stay here again.

    Albina2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Blaise’s place is lovely, in a very convenient part of Hudson, a block from Warren St. Very comfortable, warm and cutely decorated. It doesn’t have a kitchen, but there are plenty of places to eat just around the corner. Hosts were easy, communicative, and made the whole check in and out super easy. Would recommend and stay again.

  • Great place to stay for a wknd in Hudson - close to everything you need.

    Erkhan2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Blaise's place! Access was super easy with the smart lock, and Blaise kindly let us check in a little early to match our train's arrival time. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the shopping district. The place was very comfortable and had thoughtful modern amenities like a Nest thermostat, TV with Netflix, and white noise machine. As the listing notes, there is some audible conversation noise from a neighboring apartment, but we did not find it to be a problem while sleeping. We would love to return soon!

    Andrea2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here while our house outside Hudson was being renovated. So, we live here and know that you cannot do better for a Hudson location. The bed was fantastic, the shower had great hot water and had strong pressure, and the apartment was both calming and stylish. We are recommending this apartment to friends visiting Hudson.

Conveniently located a block from Hudson Amtrak station, and steps to Warren Street shops, restaurants, bars, and arts. City of Hudson Lodging Licensee #186.
Open concept one bedroom suite. The historic hideaway is the first floor of our 1840s home. You will have a private entrance with punch code lock. Our home has an abundance of natural light, exposed beams, concrete floors, radiant heat, a whole house water filter, solar energy, a salvaged farmhouse sink, mini fridge for your leftovers, coffee and granola, plates and glasses, and countertop oven if you need it. You may hear us walking around, or we may be on the road (both arts professionals who travel often). This space is ideal for those looking for privacy and calm. Those looking for hotel services may be more comfortable in one of the many fantastic hotels in the area.
We are located on lower Allen Street, a block from the Amtrak station. The "main street" called Warren is two blocks North of us, and the main road in and out of town ("3rd Street") two blocks East - best used for day trippers, and explorations out of town, etc.
  • The description is on point. We enjoyed the train sound (probably 4-5 times a day) and little footfall noises from above. Some people may not like it but It is a tastefully set up, nice, cozy BnB. What you read is what you get and there are nice thoughtful touches throughout. They also provided disinfecting wipes which in these times are worth more than gold. Nice touch.

  • The space was very tastefully designed while also being very comfortable. It's a brief walk away from both the train station and the main drag on Warren Street. The hosts communicated clearly and make the process of staying at their place extremely easy. I would recommend this space to anyone visiting Hudson.

  • Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Hudson. It is very close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Also Adam and RB gives you suggestions to local spots! I'm not sure if the floors were heated near the bed but it was very nice. The hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body soap were nice! Plenty of towels and bathrobes were given You can hear the train pass by but it's not bad. This place exceeded my expectations.

    Michael2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious studio in Hudson. We had a wonderful stay at Adam and RB’s. Lots of nice touches and easy communication. Dog friendly!!

Historic neighborhood with great antique shops, restaurants and cultural experiences. Hudson is one of the most beautiful cities in the US with lots of entertainment venues and easily accessible by Amtrak.
Apartment has the best breakfast/lunch coffee shop in the county right downstairs. Plenty of street parking.
Hudson has many great restaurants, an amazing wine shop, lots of antique shops and many, many historic places to visit.
  • The room is a warm, sunny lovely space with a very comfortable bed. Marty is an excellent and accommodating host. The location in the center of Warren Street is a perfect location.

    Jacqueline2020-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Marty was an incredibly kind and helpful host - he picked us up from the train station and had many tips for restaurants and was incredibly kind. The unit could not be in a better location! It was so nice to be so central to everything in Hudson! This was my first time staying in a private room w/ shared space Airbnb! The room was nice and spacious, and bed is comfy! My only tips for the host that could make the space a bit more accommodating to guests: - the private room should ideally have capability to lock from within for privacy and peace of mind while staying in a shared apartment - the curtains over the window separating the bedroom and dining room were a bit sheer (especially at night with lights on) and made it a bit uncomfortable to change clothes etc in there Overall a great stay! Thanks Marty for your hospitality!

    Carissa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Marty's place is beautiful and right in the heart of town. The apartment is very clean and is comfortable. The room feels like an oasis. Marty has great recommendations for places to eat and things to see/do in town. He was a great host and incredibly considerate and thoughtful during my stay.

    Carlos2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Martins apartment is so cozy, the room he rents out is quite literally a paradise for anyone coming from a city (myself) looking for a quiet oasis. If you’re lucky and it rains, the window surrounded room is the most peaceful place on earth. I could have stayed forever just for that room, a little reading nook and I’d be set. We got a private bathroom, and Martin gave excellent restaurant recs! AMAZING location we could walk to everything and never had to worry about finding parking spots! Such an adorable town all around, great hikes, adorable vintage shops and awesome inexpensive food options on warren street - we went to cascades 4x in three days!

    Katherine2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Marty’s place is in the center of Hudson, it’s the perfect location - right on Warren street. He’s super hospitable and can give you all the recos. He even picked me up from the train station, incredibly helpful especially if you have lots of luggage! The space is clean and comfortable, you can’t go wrong. Thanks again Marty!

    Dana2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • I needed to get away for a few days from the City to mentally deload. Martin’s residence and hospitality definitely provided that and more . I will be back

    Maillard2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Martin and his home is the perfect place to stay for access to all points in Hudson. Warm, caring, and charismatic Martin is the consummate host and the standard by which every experience on Airbnb should measure itself by. I couldn’t be more happy with my stay and I’ll absolutely be staying here again in the future! Thanks, Martin!

  • By far John has been the best Airbnb host I've experienced. I chose this property because it had the most number of positive reviews in the area. It proved to be true. A fantastic host plus a house full of decor that you want to explore every peice make this one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. For someone who loves to cook from scratch even when traveling, the kitchen amenities are above and beyond.

    Jean2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I spent a lovely few days here for a writing retreat. John's place was perfect - we first noticed how spotless and stylish it was as soon as we walked in, and really appreciated that he left us with fruit, juice, yogurt and coffee so we didn't have to drop everything to go get provisions. It was a nice, thoughtful touch. We also loved that the house was cozy, quiet, and exactly the sort of place to hunker down and get to work. That said, it was an added bonus to be able to walk to the market, yoga class, and around the charming village since the house was in a central location. I'd say this is one of my absolute favorite AirBnb experiences and I highly recommend it.

    Tamara2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • John’s place in Hudson is perfect! Highly recommend staying there. Three great bedrooms, lots of common space and so many thoughtful touches that take this place above most other airbnbs!

  • Just as advertised with special touches that made it the perfect bachelor pad to hang out in Hudson for my friend’s wedding weekend.

  • The house was warm and welcoming! John thought of everything and was very responsive. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, for those that also like to cook. Enjoyed touches like the York peppermint patties and water bottles at the bedside. Beds and down pillows were super comfortable. Beautifully scented detergent!

Now picture it being newly renovated and fresh and gleaming clean. This 2BR apt. can accommodate up to three adults, couples, solo travelers or a family. It’s located downtown just off of Warren Street, within walking distance of the train station and everything else. Bright and sunny! There is a shared backyard to sit in.

Shared backyard with seating areas. Herb bathtub in yard with fresh herbs for you to sample. ALL NEW EVERYTHING! Family-Friendly LGBTQ-Friendly Everybody-Friendly!
Hudson is a highly picturesque antique and art filled town easily accessible by train or car. An absolute piece of cake to get to from NYC! J.A. Bump House is one of the first buildings you will see, as it is located right on the street you drive into town on, and is also an easily-walkable three blocks from the train station. New York State has given a 10 million dollar grant to refurbish the area of Hudson you will be staying in. Hudson is teeming with the aforementioned antique shops and art galleries. There is an excellent nightlife culture with bars and music venues nearby the BnB including Basilica and Hudson Opera House, farm-to-table restaurants, home shops, vintage shops, etc. The apartment is mere steps from the Main Street which is Warren Street, so you are close enough to be a part of the action and off-Main enough to get a great night's sleep. On our same street you will pass Or, an amazing cafe/bar with a fireplace, live music and outdoor space, and James Beard Award-winning and Wine Enthusiast Magazine Award-winning restaurant Fish and Game owned and "cheffed" by Zak Pelaccio. You barely need to leave the street!
  • Cute place! Very close to the main street- great restaurants, bars, and shopping.

  • We had a great stay at Nicole's place. The apartment was located within walking distance to all that Warren Street in Hudson has to offer. The space was clean and comfortable. The small bedroom doubles as a sitting room with a television. The kitchen was well stocked and had some complimentary coffee, tea and snacks. The keypad entry made checking in and out very easy. We very much enjoyed our stay.

  • Very nice stylish spot right next to all the fun stuff on Warren St. We came for a friend’s birthday and were able to walk to dinner and the bar and then back home extremely easily! Safe and nice. One of the windows overlooks street so you do hear some car and truck noises. Also apt is a bit smaller than pics look, but just as nice and stylish.

  • I had an enjoyable stay - we were a group of three and the place fit us nicely. Could get a little cold in the rooms at night, but blankets were provided and there is a heater in the home. Two bedroom Hudson apartment recently renovated for vacation use. The apartment has two bedrooms with Queen sized beds and very generous living/entertaining areas. Spacious open kitchen/living room and formal dining room. New appliances.
This is a recently renovated apartment, the ground floor of an old 2-family home. The unit was designed for vacation use and contains two cozy bedrooms with queen sized beds and very generous living/entertaining areas. There is an open kitchen/living room layout and separate dining area. The apartment has a high ceiling, good lighting and charming refinished original hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment. The bathroom has an open shower (no tub) with beautiful marble tile walls. Kitchen cabinets, beds, mattresses, and appliances are all new and furniture, etc. is a mix of new and vintage. The house is 3 blocks from the South side of Warren Street, a five minute walk to Bonfiglio and Bread and REV cafe. The house is behind the hospital so the area is very well lit and safe. We have 4 window AC units in the unit--one in each bedroom and two in the common areas. We don't have central air conditioning.
Hudson is in the heart of the Hudson River Valley, its majestic valleys, sweeping rivers and serene lakes make it one of the Top 20 Must-See Places on National Geographic Traveler's "Best of the World" list. The city is an eclectic epicenter of creative innovation and boasts a year-round calendar of events and festivals as well as some of the country's best antique shopping.

  • We were very happy with Kevin's place! It was clean and stylish and about a 5-7 minute walk from the east end of Warren Street. The dinning room was especially great and large––we regretted not having taken advantage of it.
