Very cozy and private (400 sq. feet) garden studio in a vibrant neighborhood of St. Petersburg with private alley parking and separate entrance. The studio is close to restaurants, bars, antique shops and thriving artists community. Happening downtown St Pete is 2 miles away and beaches are 5 miles away.
Wonderful garden studio apartment above my garage in historic Kenwood neighborhood of St. Petersburg. The studio has one large room with a queen size bed and a full size sleeper sofa. The bathroom has been updated but has the original charm of the arts and crafts period. A separate small well equipped kitchen with stove, coffee maker and microwave. The refrigerator will have bottled water and other refreshments and snacks to welcome our guests. Laundry is downstairs in the garage. Laundry detergent, softener and bleach provided for our guests. Beach towels, chairs, small beach table and umbrella also available for our guests to use.
Historic Kenwood is also an artists enclave with many craftsman style bungalows. A short 5 minute walk will take you to Central Avenue. There you will find a trolley that runs from Downtown (2 miles) and Treasure Island and the Gulf Beaches (5miles). Nice restaurants, coffee shops and antique stores are just a few blocks away.
  • Ric&Pete are outstanding hosts! They go the extra mile to provide more than just a room and a bed. We can’t thank them enough for how accommodating they were!

  • We had a fabulous experience. The communication was great, we had a great initial reception . Greeted with amazing mojitos . The space was small and quaint with everything we would need : the fridge was stocked with enough basics to get you through, Without having to get grocery, Which was very thoughtful . The space was private and quiet. We did take advantage of the provided beach chairs . Laundry was also available if needed . The kitties were very friendly , Chloe was very adamant about being our stand in vacation kitty, which we were ok with since we were missing our own . The gardens were beautiful and very calming and peaceful. I will definitely stay again the next time I am in the area !

  • This was my second visit to Ric and Pete’s idyllic garden oasis. My husband got to join me this time and we found it very comfortable. Ric’s gardens are truly amazing and Pete’s hosting is not to be matched. He is a gem. The apartment is beautifully appointed, very homey, comfortable and all needs have been considered. You will be treated to a well stocked fridge and everything you need for a lovely glass of wine/beer in your home away from home. We will always plan to see if Ric & Pete’s place is available when visiting St Petersburg.

  • Great hosts! We were greeted with a warm welcome and mojitos! So many nice touches. Fridge was stocked with water, cheese, fresh hard boiled eggs, muffins, assortment of coffee creamer and more. Fantastic coffee! Plenty of towels and beach gear. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful enchanting garden in backyard. The apartment is adorable with great historic character. Great little kitchen to cook in, and grill available for use. Awesome location close to downtown and short drive to beaches. We arrived with no particular agenda, and hosts had many great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • We loved Ric and Pete’s place so much when we stayed there last year, that we rented it for our daughter this year! This is what she said: “I had the most incredible stay at Ric and Pete’s house. It was the most stunning setting, and friendly, laid- back atmosphere. I felt so comfortable there from the first moment. The home is so beautiful and luxurious- with so much extra thought and care put into the space than a typical Airbnb. It was very clean, and so comfortable. I had everything I could possibly have needed and knew I could always reach out for anything. I can’t wait to come back!”

    Shari2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ric and Peter are Airbnb hosts for the most selfless reason- they genuinely enjoy the hosting experience. This shows in everything they do and provide for their guests from a welcome drink, bottle of wine, refrigerator stocked with muffins, milk, hard boiled eggs, cheese, juice and more. Every toiletry possible just in case their guests might have forgotten something. Full access to their back patio which feels like a mini botanic garden. Ability to use their washer/dryer. Bikes , beach chairs, towels and so on. They are the epitome of what all Airbnb hosts should strive to be. And they are a delight to have met. Thank you Pete and Ric for absolutely everything!!!!

  • This place is fabulous. If it’s available, book it! Nice quiet apt on a tree lined street. Great amenities, food in the fridge, eggs from the chickens downstairs. A plant filled deck with furniture and blooming orchids. Enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in a tropical setting. Fantastic hospitality and great communication. And...bikes to use to ride to the beach!

    Patrick2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I spent a very enjoyable week at Ric and Pete's place. Everything was top notch and as good or better than all the positive reviews. Included a nice bottle of wine and the best stocked refrigerator we've ever experienced. Pretty much everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom is included. The apartment is handy, stylish and well thought out. The lush courtyard garden is incredible. Fantastic location, lots of stuff nearby on Central Avenue by foot or bike. Centrally convenient to all the local attractions by vehicle, but weather permitting we rode bikes to several locations around town. Rick and Pete are great and one or the other is always accessible. There's even a friendly cat to guard your door. We definitely will stay here (if available) next time in the Burg.

Private studio apartment with separate, keyless entrance blocks from Tropicana Field, breweries, restaurants, bars, nightlife, arts galleries, and museums. Less than 2 miles from the downtown Saint Petersburg waterfront and minutes from the beach and blocks from biking and running trails. Centrally located to the many festivals and activities that Saint Pete has to offer. This is a great space for couples, business travelers, solo adventurers. We are pet friendly and have a fenced in back yard.
Booking includes private use of a ground floor studio apartment with its own separate, keyless entrance, queen size bed, private bathroom, private living space and dining area. The studio does not have a separate kitchen. If booking for 3 guests, a full size air mattress will be provided. Studio has two rooms in addition to the bathroom. The main room is a spacious living area featuring the bed, a couch, TV with a Blu-Ray player and a computer desk. Guests have access to our wi-fi as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. The second room has a dining area and coffee maker, as well as a small mini-fridge and microwave. While the studio has a its own entrance, it is connected to our house, and you would be welcome to use our yard and deck. Please be aware that we have a dog and occasionally we will foster animals. They will not have access to the studio, however, dogs may be in the yard. Speaking of furkids, yours are more than welcome. We love dogs and cats, and if we're home, there's a solid chance we'll interact more with your pet than with you. :-). We do have a large fenced in back yard which you would be welcome to use, but you would be sharing it with us and our dog(s). Please be aware that due to the additional costs in running a pet friendly Airbnb, an additional fee of $20 will be required if you’re bringing any of your fur babies ($20 total; not per pet or per night). That said, we are strong supporters of animal rescue organizations and shelters, and therefore, if you can show us adoption paperwork that demonstrates your pet is from a shelter, rescue, or animal control, then we’ll waive the fee as a thank you for helping save these sweet souls who need a home.
Our home is located in a historic district and 3 blocks off the main strip, Central Avenue, which has shopping, breweries, restaurants, bars, art galleries, museums, and Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays. We are also blocks from the Pinellas Trail, a 40+ mile continuous running and biking path through Saint Pete.
  • Very clean and in a great location! Internet was slow but we appreciated all the amenities and suggestions for things to do in the area.

    Candace2020-03-08T00:00:00Z

St. Petersburg is the City of the Arts - represented by outstanding museums, scores of independent galleries, a successful, close-knit community of working artists and crafts-people, and a stellar performing arts community, St. Petersburg’s cultural scene is one of the best in the southeastern United States, and it is located on the Gulf of Mexico. What could be better?
  • Joy’s place was great! She was so friendly and helpful. The space is lovely and the decor is great. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood that is very walkable and close to Central. Note that the toilet is a compost toilet which may take some getting used to.

    Rosie2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We found Joy's description of her space to be extremely accurate. Very humble accommodations here, but definitely functional and unique. The bed was very comfortable, it was clean, and had everything we needed for a four night stay. The composting toilet takes some getting used to, but it really wasn't an issue. We enjoyed sitting on the patio behind the house and riding Joy's bikes around town. The bikes were well used but still rode great, and the fantastic location made it easy to get to a lot of great restaurants and bars/breweries. We also biked to the beach, about 12 miles round trip and pretty much a straight shot from her house. I would definitely recommend her space for someone who doesn't need a huge number of amenities and is just looking for a comfortable place to stay in a great location in St. Pete's.

    Dave2018-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Joy was an excellent host. Very accommodating, gave great suggestions, and was always easily available. My wife and I stayed here for 1 month. Totally manageable space for 2 people. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in town.

    Tenes2018-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, extremely convenient, joy was super nice and helpful, my boyfriend had a harder time adjusting to the toilet than I did but honestly it's nothing that should keep you from staying at this wonderful place.

    Brittney2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house is amazing! We stayed for a week while we visited family and friends and it was the perfect retreat from the nonstop fun! The composting toilet takes a little bit of patience, but when you realize how much good it does to keep the bay clean, it becomes a nice way to respect the beautiful Florida location you're enjoying. We loved how eco-friendly the house is! The bed is comfy and the air conditioner and ceiling fan kept it nice and cool for us. Her gardens are very tranquil. The location was so nice! We were super close to all the great shops/restaurants/bars and cool art district of st pete! I highly recommend this property!

    McKenzie2017-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Joyous's place was amazing! Make sure to check out her museum right next door it was really cool and informative!

    Cassidy2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was perfect for my stay in St Pete. I was there for business, so didn't have nearly enough time to relax in that most comforting space. Joy is a truly wonderful host and a kind soul. Don't be put off by the composting toilet- it's easy!! Highly recommend!

    Deborah2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient area, very close to the downtown area which was where I usually visited. Joyous a home is a fantastic place to stay while visiting St. Petersburg since it is close most of the sites AND it is in a quiet neighborhood. That was a plus. The toilet was interesting, but it was a nice and comforting experience.

  • This place was within walking distance to many restaurants and breweries. I highly recommend to anyone looking to checkout the local brewery scene. It was an older place but the inside was clearly remodeled and very cute. We were able to check ourselves in with a code and park right out front. I got a quick response right away if I needed something.

Our “Sweet-Suite St. Pete” is the perfect place to stay for relaxing. It's a detached, private suite. 6 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to amazing beaches. Suite has brand new furniture & appliances. There's a smart TV which is connected to our wifi w/ Netflix and Hulu. Perhaps the best part of all is the ‘Purple™’ queen mattress. Sleeping on a Purple after a long day of exploring is relaxing and regenerating. For extra convenience, you also have full use of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella.
Sweet Suite St. Pete is a completely private and detached guesthouse with your own entrance, (think “mother-in-law” suite). There’s a beautiful patio deck to sit out and relax in with a shade to protect you from the sun. We have a noise machine next to the bed for any light sleepers. Though we use one at home even though we’re not light sleepers because it’s great. There’s a full bathroom with a brand new shower, toilet, and vanity sink. All of the furniture is brand new, with a cozy couch for 2, a Purple bed, a bench for sitting or to store your luggage, and a Smart TV. There’s a small kitchen with all the essentials you’ll need for a comfy stay. A Keurig with coffee provided, that also makes hot water for some provided artisan tea. A mini fridge with a water filter. Sorry, no microwave or oven, but there are SO MANY amazing places to eat close by. Please respect our neighbors, who are sweet, and know that absolutely no parties - big or small - are allowed. No smoking, including marijuana, is allowed inside, but you do you outside. Please clean up any roaches or butts.
We live in the beautiful "Historic Kenwood" neighborhood. It's a designated Historic neighborhood and you can enjoy tons of homes in the craftsman style of the 20's. It's a creative community that supports the work of artists, embraces diversity, and celebrates historic preservation.

  • This little spot was perfect for a fun weekend in St Pete. If you’re visiting and trying to jam pack as much Pinellas County stuff in a couple days, this place is centrally located between everything. Space itself was so cute and comfortable, clean and private. Communication was great! I would totally recommend and visit again!

    Liz2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts responded very quickly to my messages and in no time was I booked for their lovely home. There is a lot of street parking in the area, so no need to be afraid of no parking. This home is perfect for 2 people. It’s not too big, but it’s very convenient and sufficient for people who are just looking to sleep in there while you explore more of Florida. They even have an outdoor area where you can just sit and chat and enjoy the weather. Overall, it was great.

    Yvonne2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay & wonderful host! I was welcomed by a personalized note which was written by the entrance. Checking in was a breeze! There was a binder with places to go and recommendations on where to eat. Everything was clean. Very quiet neighborhood. I would definitely come back and visit again.

Cute, spacious apartment located in historical neighborhood. Lots of charm and just enough space to spread out a little for some privacy. Located close to downtown, walking distance to lots of restaurants, breweries and bars but still a short drive to our beautiful beaches.
The Bedroom has a queen bed, dressers and a big closet to hang your clothes in if need be. Living room and sun room have a couch and trundle bed that can be arranged as a twin or pulled out for either a king or two twins. There is a mounted smart TV as well. A porta-crib is also provided, with bedding if you need one. The bathroom is spacious with a roomy shower and is newly remodeled. If you have a little one and need a tub, we do provide a “baby bathtub”. There are always plenty of freshly cleaned towels as well as a hair dryer. We have full size kitchen, equipped with everything you may need to prepare your own meals if you choose. Seating for four at the table as well as a portable high chair for little ones . Our back yard is fenced and our neighborhood boasts a lovely park only two blocks away. The park has a nice playground and lots of shade. It is also very dog friendly as is most all of St Pete. Within walking distance are lots of great restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seating areas as well as some great breweries. There are shops ranging from boutiques to antiques. We are also lucky to be just a short drive to the most beautiful beaches and sunsets around. Our apartment has available beach towels, a few beach chairs and an umbrella, which you are welcome to use.
Historic Kenwood is a great neighborhood and centrally located between our beaches and downtown. Our neighborhood is an artist enclave and full of diversity. We are within walking distance to some terrific places to eat and lots of shopping. It’s a beautiful area for just a scenic walk to our park as well.
  • Amy and Wydel were very gracious hosts! We loved the special surprises upon our arrival along with the great list of recommendations of places to go and see during our stay. There was also a list of locations for obtaining groceries and other staples which is so helpful to guests who aren’t familiar with the area. Nice touch!! The guesthouse is decorated to make people feel comfortable and is very shabby chic and homey. We would recommend this place to our friends and family.

  • What a lovely home! The space was really nice and comfortable and clean, with cute decorations and a great location. It is actually bigger than it looked in the pictures. Amy is an excellent host, and she was friendly and responsive. My brother lives a few blocks away and he is about to have a baby, so we will definitely be staying here again soon.

    Vanessa2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amy’s place is as described. Great location- lovely neighborhood-walk to many restaurants- convenient to downtown and not far from beaches, nature preserves. We did have a car, which we needed to do what we wanted. Great communication, amenities including snacks, nicely appointed.

  • Amy’s place is absolutely wonderful. Her apartment is in the perfect location, as it’s pretty much close to everything in St. Pete’s! Her place was the perfect size, and was the perfect place to stay. Check-in was a breeze, as was our whole stay! Amy has clear instructions for the AirBnb, is fantastic at quick communication, and makes the whole stay a pleasant time. We had plenty of privacy as well, and would highly recommend staying at Amy’s place to anyone. If I’m ever back in St. Pete, I’m staying at Amy’s!

  • Beautiful place, lovely decorated which makes you feel at home. Neighbourhood is also beautiful! We loved the addition of baby necessities such as a high chair, outlet covers, toys, bath and there was even babyshampoo!

  • Amy and Wydel's apartment is adorable and super cozy/comfy. This is a great accommodation if you're traveling with a baby. Not only is a crib available, they've included other helpful items like a baby tub, baby shampoo, outlet protectors and even a small bin of toys! Our stay was perfect.

    Melissa2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amy’s place is very easy to access. On street parking and a lock box make for easy in and out. Super clean throughout, beautifully updated bathroom, full kitchen and comfortable sleeping areas make this a great option for smaller families. Close to good food, beautiful beaches and the city, it’s a great option over a hotel!

  • This is the best location! You can walk to Central Ave. and lots of great restaurants. Very cute neighborhood and the place was just perfect for me. I would stay here again.

  • Great location, hospitable host👍🏻

    Justin2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great value on a small and cozy space close to downtown St. Pete. I didn't have any major issues and it had everything I needed to get by. Alisa was fast at answering any question I had. There's a fridge, mini stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster among other appliances and dishware, which is way better than what you'll get at a motel. The only thing I have to say about this space is to be wary of bringing bugs in when you walk in and out of the room, but that's just life in South Florida.

    Jonathan2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful month long stay!

    Kevin2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • I had really nice time at the location everything was clean, well maintained and excatly what I needed. My only small minor complaint was there was a lack of communication for my first day check in after a quick phone call it was fixed.

    Dexter2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for two weeks and it's exactly as described. The room grew on me to feel very homely. A cosy hideaway in a terrific location. IMHO Kenwood is much more interesting than Downtown. I'd certainly stay there again.

    Chris2019-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in the Kenmore area.

    Kim2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great! You must walk down to Sid’s Caribbean Grill on Central Ave. and try the oxtail. The neighborhood is historic, safe, and quite scenic. I loved walking my dog in different areas every day. The space is small, but everything you need is there. Mini-fridge is ice-cold (don’t turn the dial higher than minimum!)! Bed is comfy. For the price, you just can’t beat it!

Kenwood is a neighborhood of Bungalows. The apt. is updated with new amenities including leather sectional and all the comforts of home; 55 " TV w/ cable and local channels. A very private setting! Walking distance to Central Ave. & Grand Central District. Foodies will love the restaurants. Craft breweries abound as does nightlife. Garden patio string lights illuminate the backyard. We have 2 miniature Schnauzers, but will not be any bother. Your hosts look forward to your stay with us.
The apt. is on the 2nd floor, accessible by stairs to porch. Bright and sunny with windows around 3/4 of the apartment, offers an east-west sunrise and sunset
Historic Kenwood is known for its Craftsman Bungalows. The very active HO Association sponsors several events during the year. Historic Kenwood Bungalow Fest and Pinot in the Park are annual events and have been huge successes. The Grand Prix occurs in March and the routed streets of downtown are closed to traffic during the race.
  • Our second time there....and it was just as wonderful as the first. Tasteful, spotless, great location, all the amenities you could ask for, walking distance to a delicious variety of restaurants. A true find in St. Pete.

  • John and Richard’s is a great place in a great location with breweries and restaurants and museums minutes away by car and a few restaurants within walking distance. We had everything we needed and more. The space was clean, well decorated and the bed very comfortable. The path to get to the apartment is beautifully landscaped with interesting plants, statuary and a koi pond with a little waterfall that you can hear trickle from above. It was truly a peaceful oasis to come back to after exploring all day. We would definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit St Pete.

  • This is a clean, lovely and comfortable home in a wonderful historic neighborhood. The apartment is spacious and there is a beautiful yard. When we needed help, they were quick to respond. Wonderful stay!

    Shari2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is located in a charming historic neighborhood within easy walking distance of a vibrant commercial area with shops and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The interior of the apartment is more spacious than I had imagined. It’s decorated thoughtfully and sparingly. I’m a big guy and I’m uncomfortable in cluttered and small rooms. We loved it, especially the expanse of windows in the main room with views of the garden. Private entrance. John and Richard answered emails promptly and were responsive to our needs. We didn’t have time to prepare an itinerary in advance of our visit. Our hosts were kind enough to lend an assist on short notice. We enjoyed our weekend thoroughly!

    John2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • A truly beautiful place to stay. Quiet and private. Richard and John are great hosts and people. The apartment is separate, large and beautifully decorated. It is not furnished with cheap furniture. Quiet neighborhood in the center of everything. Don't worry about the dogs, they are beautiful and quiet. We wanted to see more of them. I highly recommend.

    Kevin2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment in Kenwood is stylish, comfortable, and convenient, as many other reviews have made clear! We found it close to all area destinations, but quiet and relaxing when at home. John was excellent in communications and very supportive of our requests. Highly recommend.

    Gail2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome host and awesome place. It’s just on the edge of the hip parts of town so you can enjoy some peace and quiet but be right in the action at a moments notice. A lot of great food places and breweries all over. As far as more details on the place itself, it’s essentially it’s own apartment tucked behind a beautiful garden. Couldn’t have dreamed of a more cozy place to spend time in St Pete.

    Mikhail2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • John and Richard's place is so stylish and convenient. No matter whether you are coming and going by car, getting around by bus, bike or walking to Central Avenue cafés, their place is perfectly located. John and Richard's place looks out onto a beautiful back garden and the interior is comfortable, simple yet stylish. It is easy to feel at home there.

Located in beautiful Historic Kenwood, this 1-bedroom apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of St. Pete. Just minutes from downtown, the Edge and Grand Central districts, and some of Florida's most pristine beaches, you'll have no shortage of things to do.
The apartment is located above our garage. It was fully renovated in 2015 including new plumbing, electric, and central A/C. We live in the main house on the property, so we're always close to address any questions or concerns. Parking is available just outside the apartment in the alley, with a private gate leading directly to the stairs up to the front door. At the top of the stairs is a small patio area. The front door opens into a cozy living area with a couch and 42" TV. Cable and WiFi are included. Four large windows allow a tremendous amount of light into the space throughout the day. Just off the living area is a full kitchen with a bar that doubles as a dining area. The bedroom includes a queen bed to comfortably sleep two adults. The full size closet will accommodate enough clothing for even the longest of stays.
Kenwood is one of a handful of historic neighborhoods in St. Petersburg. Known for its craftsman style bungalow houses, many of which were constructed in the 1920s, the architecture of neighborhood is an attraction in and of itself. Just blocks away is Central Avenue, with its plethora of shops, restaurants, and bars. Craft beer lovers can enjoy any of the six different breweries within a 2-mile radius. Sports fans can catch a baseball game at Tropicana Field just a mile away. Art lovers can venture further downtown to visit the Chihuly and Dali museums. And of course, the beach is just a 15 minute drive away.

  • Montana has a lovely little place here. Comfortable and cosy, with some stylish touches. St Pete is great, and this location was fantastic. Short trip to downtown but locally surrounded by cute cafes and restaurants. 10/10

    David2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a three night stay at Montana’s place. We were very comfortable there, the apartment is generous in size and well located for exploring all of St Pete. Though near a busy street the way it is situated at the back of the property was ideal and it was not noisy for sleeping. Easy to prepare meals there, very functional and well appointed kitchen. Montana communicated well throughout the Airbnb process. We will check in with her again if back in the area.

    Brittney2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The screened in porch with lighted palm tree was nice. Little personal touches (like the space heater with flames) were appreciated. The stairs up to the space could be challenging for the elderly. Great location close to downtown.

  • !!!! This place is freakin BEAUTIFUL and on such an awesome strip of St Pete. We drank so much great beer and ate a ton of plantains and awesome food and the house had everything we needed (SO much coffee). Very grateful and hoping to come back soon :-) PLUS the alley has a lot of cats which was a sweet bonus

  • Hi everyone, We loved our stay at Dan and Terry place ! We stayed for two mouths . Dan and Terry are great super host! They made us feel at home . Our unit was roomy, clean and relaxing great ! Lots to do in st.petes!!!

    Cheryl2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Dan and Terry are five star plus hosts. I’ve been in AirBnBs in 5 countries. Some were fancier, but none had the attention to detail that these guys put into everything. We stayed a month. When Dan found out that my mom loves orchids (his specialty), he put them everywhere. There’s a door that separates the front of the house from the back, where they live. Terry put a doorbell next to the door, so that they could hear us when we needed something. (Obviously, don’t bug them if you don’t have to.) They’re very quiet, but the kitchen is next to the separating door. You’ll hear them in there, and smell their wonderful cooking. The rooms are fully appointed with closets and drawers. The beds and many pillows are very comfortable. One room has a desk. The street has some gorgeous homes. It’s near downtown St Pete, Vinoy Park, the Bay, and not too far from the beaches. There’s a bus stop close by on 9th Ave N. For the price, the size, the location and especially the hosts, you can’t beat this accommodation!

  • We had a great stay at Daniel's house. He was a super host, the house was extremely clean and convenient to everywhere. There was plenty of parking right in front of the house. We had some travel problems and he was very easy to work with in our small change of plans. Communication was very quick. We felt very comfortable and welcome there. We would definitely stay there again.

    Linda2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Dan’s place is awesome and he and his partner ROCK! The house is adorable and super clean/comfortable. They have it set up like a mini-suite, including a Keurig, mini-refrigerator and microwave. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a nice size. There were four of us visiting for two nights and we are all so lucky to have found Dan’s place. Not to mention Dan gave me several cuttings of his amazing plants! Thank you both! John

  • Marc & Teresa were excellent hosts. We had a great time in their tiny cottage in the backyard. We enjoyed meeting Jessie & Mica the golden retrievers too! Since we were there for 4 nights, they were kind enough to give us fresh water refills in the glass bottles they provide, so we didn’t have to create a lot of waste with plastic bottles. The kuerig coffee maker was greatly appreciated and I enjoyed my coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the ‘porch’. They’ve put a lot of love into the cottage and it shows! Some other reviews complain of the tiny shower, but it had plenty of room for me and was beautiful, clean and well lit!

    Jennifer2020-02-28T00:00:00Z

  • Pat was a great host. He helped us park, showed us around, and left us to enjoy his space. We felt like we had our own little studio apartment to relax in for the evening. The pups were very comfortable. Location was perfect in Historic Kenwood. Nice scenic area! FYI If you are traveling with an elderly large dog, the stairs can be a bit tough for them.

  • Very clean and homey. We loved the bed and thought it was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in an Air bnb! Would stay again and recommend to anyone visiting St. Pete.

    Peter2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in historic St. Petersberg. The location may be a little hard to find at first, but Patrick is great at meeting you there and giving directions, making the check-in seamless. You have a lot of space (it's a 1/1 walk-up to a loft with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom) and parking in front for a car. Overall, a great visit. Thank you Patrick!

  • I have stayed at a lot of air b&b’s and this one is by far my favorite! Ken was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was very quick to respond with any questions we had and offered so many wonderful tips and recommendations on restaurants, things to do, ect The apartment was very clean and cozy with so many personal touches. The outdoor area was absolutely beautiful and serene. The location was perfect just a short walk to so many shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend this apartment and will no doubt return in the future. Thank you so much ken for making our first trip to St. Petersburg a great one!

    Lynn2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kenneth's studio was quite perfect: great location near central avenue and stunning plants everywhere. Very good studio with everything one may need. The privacy of the studio is very enjoyable although one can still have a talk with Kenneth! One of my favorite airbnb so far!

    Carole2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and location. You will not be disappointed. Beautifully decorated and Ken is great host.

    William2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Kenneth's place. Sparkling clean, wonderful location, thoughtful touches such as coffee and local beers, adorable space, and a beautiful outdoor patio with nice pool to be enjoyed. One of my most favorite Airbnbs I've ever stayed at- I would make another trip down to St. Pete just to stay here again! Thanks Kenneth, for a truly exceptional experience.

    Kasey2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ken's place is absolutely amazing and offers a fantastic home-from-home experience. Practically speaking the space is equipped with everything you need for a stay including thoughtful touches (e.g. beach towels +deck chairs). But the apartment is also so well designed and comfy and set inside a fantastic garden with pool. We really loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough.

    James2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! Check in was easy. The space was very tidy and very unique. The backyard was like walking into your own private oasis. We were really appreciative of the guide book provided. The attention to detail of the book was unlike any other. It definitely gave us a couple good ideas for our stay! Lastly, it was an easy walk or drive to many different restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this space!!

  • This is the part of St. Petersburg you want to be in. There are so many good places to eat and drink on this end of Central Ave, and Kenwood is a very nice, quiet neighborhood not too far from the nightlife. David’s spot is just 4 blocks from the main strip. David’s space is clean and comfortable, and he is always available for a good recommendation. He is a very friendly and communicative host, and I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to St. Pete.

In the vicinity of Kenwood and close to the entertainment of the Grand Central District. A quick ride to downtown and the beautiful gulf beaches. This is a nice place to crash, while being close to the many conveniences St. Pete has to offer. In the studio there is a full bath, with shower head filter as well as a filter for drinking water. Included is a double bed, small fridge and a table with a keurig, coffee, cream, sugar, spoons and a Roku TV. See below for more.
You have your own space and entrance, like a hotel room there are no common spaces aside from the backyard. However, I do live on the other side of the studio separated by locked door and you may see my pup Waffles in the yard. There is no kitchen aside from the fridge and keurig. Please no pets allowed. On-street parking available. Waffles and I try to be as quiet as possible. This is a neighborhood as well as my home and you will hear occasionally cars and the garbage truck come down the back alley. Be aware that this is Florida and from time to time you will see lizards in the back yard :) Please read the house rules.
Favorite coffee is Bandit Coffee Co. on Central Ave. Favorite breakfast/lunch spot is Trips Diner on MLK.
  • Top of the class hospitality

    Josh2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of my first AirBnB experiences so at first I was a little hesitant. But after reading all of the positive reviews Christopher had I knew I was making the right choice. Exceptional hospitality was shown upon arrival and everything was exactly as posted. Street parking was not an issue out front and you have your own entry way to a secluded back patio with fire place and seating deck. Although the room is small, it has everything you could want. Shower, bathroom, coffee maker, small fridge. My wife and I had such a blast. Christopher went above and beyond offering to barbecue up some food for us after getting back from the town. Meeting Waffles his dog was also a highlight along with the pork chops he cooked. Great time!!! I would 100% recommend this AirBnB to anyone.

  • Janell’s place is in the perfect location, about a 7 minute drive or $8 Lyft/Uber ride to downtown and walking distance to a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. She was such a great host and made me feel right at home. I highly recommend you stay with Janell if you’re in the sunshine city!

    Christine2020-02-27T00:00:00Z

I am centrally located in St. Pete halfway between downtown and the beaches. The decor in my 1940's home is mid century modern. I welcome people from all backgrounds and LGBTQ. You are welcome to use the living room, kitchen, shared bath and outdoor spaces. This room has a queen bed and a frig. I have 3 guest rooms with 1.5 baths and I just added a cedar outdoor shower! I live in a cottage out back. I am happy to help you find things to do in the area. I look forward to your visit!
I am an antique dealer and collector so although my house is not large I do have an interesting assortment of art, ceramics, and mid century furnishings. I am very happy to announce that I have a new outdoor hot and cold natural cedar shower! It has a pergola roof and copper rain shower head. It is really a treat to use and guests are encourage to try it out! Please note! I sometimes allow guests to bring a small dog or service animal. If you prefer not to be in a shared house with a dog please ask before booking and I will let you know if your dates are animal free.
I live in a very friendly neighborhood of homes built mostly in the 1940's and 50's. We have an active neighborhood association that hosts monthly pot lucks. I have five huge Myrtle Oak trees in my yard which provides for lots of shade and lush greenery.
  • Lori’s house is very nicely decorated mid century modern I think. It’s quiet, comfortable, and clean. I will be staying here again. The check in was simple and straight forward. Thank you.

Planning to come back and visit a week when I have vacation! I can not recommend your adorable space enough!

    Denise2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed here multiple times. Just an easy place to sleep. Just one room no TV. But I don't mind that

    Kate2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • My room was very cute and perfect for what I needed. The place itself is so charming and unique. Everything was clean and organized as expected. The amenities and the touch of providing tips on local spots was very appreciated! I didnt get to use the new outside shower unfortunately, but the inside shower had great pressure!! I slept so soundly and overall really enjoyed my stay here.

    Rebecca2020-02-20T00:00:00Z

Fantastic charmer directly overlooking Central Ave- cafes, art, antique shops, and pubs in the Grand Central Art District of Downtown St Petersburg. 10 blocks from the Tropicana, 6 blocks from the interstate heading to Tampa/St. Pete airports or Sarasota. Tram stop west to the beach or east to the downtown Pier only 50 cents.
Quiant 1926 Colonial Charmer with all its nooks and crannies. We are updating it along the way. It’s old original wood floors, so there are many time-ridden imperfections - we love this house, so we ask grace in the imperfections. The location will totally blow you away! Overlooking Central Avenue Grand Central District, with all its cafes, antique and vintage stores, downtown nightlife, Tropicana Dome, pubs, and the beach- all are within walking distance or the 50 cent tram! Located immediately across from Urban Comfort Brewery restaurant, the Queenshead Pub, and Painting With a Twist!
We love it here because of the awesome walkability of everything culture and arts! It’s a quick jump on the interstate and Tampa, Sarasota, and Palm Harbor/Tarpon Springs are all within 30 minutes drive.
  • Tessa's place is in a great location within walking distance or a short ride to everything in St Pete. The house is shared with other Air B n B guests, but I was the only one in the house the night of my stay, which was nice. The bed was fine and the room was kept a comfortable temperature with the ceiling fan; ( there is also a window a/c unit, but I was fine without it.) I would stay again if attending an event in St Pete.

    Jared2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Not the newest house, but very clean. There is an excellent array of coffee and it is clear that the host really cares about your experience.

    Megan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tessa and Peter were excellent hosts and it was so nice to meet them, especially as they stayed at my Airbnb in the UK last summer! The house is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and large living room. My bedroom was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was great with no sharing issues! The location is perfect for exploring the Grand Central arts district and a short drive to St Pete's beaches in one direction and downtown/airport/Tampa Bay in the other. There's lots to do and I could have easily spent 2 weeks here, so I'm hoping I'll be back soon.

    Lucy2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time imaginable. We were welcomed and cared for as if family. The house is cozy ,roomy, clean and right in the heart of downtown St.Pete. Tessa is totally responsive to all messages and needs. The house perfect with well stocked kitchen to fluffy towels and shampoo. Couldn't meet nicer more caring people. Value value value made it possible for our long term stay as snowbirds. We are ever grateful to meet you Tessa.

    Carol2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Charming place right near the central district.

    Donna2020-01-01T00:00:00Z

I am centrally located in St. Pete halfway between downtown and the beaches. The decor in my 1940's home is mid century and vintage. I welcome people from all backgrounds and LGBTQ. This is a small room with a double bed. Perfect for one, fine for two if you aren't too tall. There is small sitting area just outside the room and a half bath across the hall. There are 3 guest rooms in all and I recently added a cedar outdoor shower. I look forward to helping you have a wonderful stay!

  • I was so happy with my stay. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures, it has a beautiful outdoor space as well with a large yard and patio, and the living room/dining room were comfortable places to hang out after a day out. It felt like home. The entire place was very clean and well-appointed, the bed/bedding in my room were was very comfortable! Bonuses: there were drinks in the fridge and Bruce left us 4 tickets to the Indianapolis 500! He also sent the code well before check-in. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home, Bruce!

  • This is a perfect location to check out all the bars, restaurants and shops along Central Ave. And don't miss Jeff's own gallery and cafe next door, filled with astounding beautiful crafts. This is an historic (old) house that is still being remodeled; the bathroom is serviceable. Jeff is an excellent host, communicated promptly and accommodated our changing schedule.
