We stayed at this apartment for 2 months while working at the nearby hospitals and really enjoyed our stay. It is a short commute (~15 min) to both UH and CCF. The unit is on the second floor of a two-family home and is in a residential area. The unit below is also a rental unit. The apartment is ideal for a long term rental. We used the kitchen multiple times per week and it was well supplied with everything we needed. We also utilized the second bedroom as an office as it has a desk and bookshelf. Another major perk was the covered parking spot, which was very nice to have during the winter. Paula was responsive to any questions we had and let us know when guests were staying in the unit below us. Having done other short-term rentals in Cleveland, this was by far our favorite and we would definitely stay here again!

Paula was a fabulous communicator. I had phone numbers for her and her onsite manager, though I did not need to call them. The upstairs unit is very spacious with several closets. There is a large dining table. The kitchen was nicely stocked, and I only needed a few extra things to cook all my own meals for a month. A new Walmart Super Center is less than a mile away. There are 2 washers and dryers in the basement, never a problem. I had never used radiators for heat before, but they worked just fine and I was always comfortable. I also needed the AC units for a few days in early Fall, again no problem.

The apartment was lovely, nicely set up with very comfortable furniture. It was spacious and also very cozy. The neighborhood was very nice with a park nearby and a great school for my son. The commute to Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University was easy and fast. Paula was very helpful for our settling . She got a crib specially for my baby to sleep in. I would definitely recommend the place and look forward to visiting Cleveland again.

My stay at the trendy stone castle was fabulous--The floors were freshly refinished, nice furnishings and the place was spotless. The apartment has a cozy balcony which was perfect for catching a spring breeze. The hostess Paula was great in her contact and made me feel welcome. A packet was provided with information on hot spots in the area which enhanced my tour plans. I highly recommend a stay here!

Paula was a great host, but unfortunately the apartment wasn't the best. She communicated well and tried to remedy all the issues in a timely manner. When she needed to move us from the bottom unit to the top because of a schedule overlap, she gave us a small discount and tried to remedy some things to make up for the changes we were concerned about (like it being hotter on the 2nd floor without central air, and having a smaller bed), which we appreciated. The furnishings and amenities (ie. towels) are outdated, but to be expected based on pictures. The main reason we only gave this place 3 stars was because of cleanliness and a lot of little things adding up. At first glance the place appeared clean, but a closer look made us realize otherwise, mainly the bathroom and kitchen. Every corner of the bathroom had a thick layer of dust and hair, like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was hair and soap pieces all over the shower, behind the sink, on the cleaning tools, etc. There was a lot of shoddy workmanship like globs of grout/caulk/patching everywhere that contributed to the feeling of not being clean. HOWEVER, when we made Paula aware of it, she was very apologetic and sent her husband over to clean it while we were out. When we came back it was cleaner, but still had some hair and dust in places. Perhaps they'll get a professional in there to do a deep clean, so hopefully it will be better for the next guest. On the amenity list, a hair dryer was listed, which couldn't be found anywhere. When I reached out, Paula's husband Mustapha said the listing was a mistake, they don't provide a hair dryer. I had to leave for a wedding in 30 minutes and had wet hair. He offered to bring one by but it wouldn't have gotten there until we left. They agreed to reimburse me if I bought one and left it there. I still haven't received reimbursement, but they seemed good for it. There are AC units in the main bedroom and dining room. It still got a little warm despite it being cooler that weekend, but that could have been from the humidity or because the apartment is decently big and has various rooms that don't have an AC unit. There are only sheer curtains in the main bedroom and light started coming through sometime after 5am making it hard to sleep, so bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper! The house is located on a quiet street off a main road, which made it easy to get to, and parking was a breeze, but it wasn't the kind of area we wanted to walk around and explore, so you'll want to Uber or drive to most places that aren't too far away, but not walkable.

Christine was a most welcoming host! We found her instructions to be clear as to arrival and parking. Evening conversation wandered through various topics including geography and wine tasting. The view of Lake Erie was beatiful from her living room and our bedroom. The bedroom was more spacious than I expected, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom just outside our bedroom door was clean and felt private. We went to bed quite early and left before Christine was up. We felt perfectly comfortable in her home and had a great stay on our way from WI to NY.

Christine was great; she welcomed us in person. Gave us very good directions to a state park and how to make it to a local festival in town. Plenty of towels to use. Friendly cats. We were very happy with our stay. Convenient to the interstate.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Christine's place for a wedding that happened to be only five minutes away from her apartment, and for our purposes our stay was really awesome, especially for the price. Christine was very accommodating by allowing us to arrive a night earlier than originally planned with only a day notice. She was very easy to reach and very kind and welcoming. If we had more time, I would have enjoyed being able to chat with her more. The space is exactly as described and more private than I expected. Christine stays there simultaneously, as stated, but your bedroom and bathroom are on the complete opposite side of the apartment from her room, so it is very easy to stay to your space if you so choose. Overall, great stay, lovely host, truthful to the description, and very good value.

Exactly what I was I looking for. It is just as described, a single room with access to your own shower. Her two cats are very friendly just like to say hi every so often. Right off the highways and very convenient if you need to get to downtown or want to stay out in the area. Would stay again.

Christine's space was exactly as described in her listing. The accommodations were great and it was easy to 'settle right in'. As Christine mentioned, she does have two cats - so potential guests should be prepared for immediate interaction with her very inquisitive felines! The location of the apartment is ideal in terms of access to highways, restaurants, and shopping, etc. All in all, a very nice experience with a very attentive host.

Cindy was great! The entire place is very clean. Two separate rooms, not just separate beds. Great value. The part of town was a little rundown but it is a Quick Uber to downtown. I would definitely stay there again.

We thought Cindy's place was great. Everything was new, and very clean and she was great about being in communication. It is exactly as the photos show it. The chairs and the couch were much more comfortable than I thought they would be by the looks. The only thing that I would let others know is that there is an upstairs tenant and you can hear all the footsteps and the happy dog running around. If you are a light sleeper, just keep that in mind. Everything else was great! We recommend it.

This place is about as comfortable as any place we've ever stayed. A very relaxing space that makes you feel at home. Central to everything you would want to do or see in the area. Absolutely zero complaints. If we ever find ourselves looking for a place to stay in the area again, this will be the first place we look for.

My wife and I stayed 3 days at Curtis place and it was awesome! The place inside is large had everything you would Need to cook. We grilled out all 3 days and just relaxed in the pool and went down to the private beach and just chilled. Thank you Curtis. We defiantly want to come back!

This place was awesome! The view was fantastic, much better that the pictures show. The pool was heated. Curtis was very friendly and accommodating. There is a local coffee shop nearby that has great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Note: it is a lake and spiders are abundant. Overall had a great stay!

What a little piece of heaven. I spent 5 days here for a Mother's Day "staycation", and came home refreshed and relaxed. Curtis is a lovely and thoughtful host, who responded quickly to all of my questions, both before and during my stay. The layout of the unit is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to grill or cook, as well as lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the pool and decks. I am already looking forward to booking another stay in a few months.

Curtis is one of the nicest person you will ever meet, we had the greatest time at his place. He has what I call a slice of heaven, the pool is amazing, the views are incredible, the space is wonderful and Curtis goes above an beyond to make you feel at home. Curtis was so kind, we loved him! He stopped over on his lunch break just to make sure we weren't in need of anything. He was very generous with his home. The pool, patios, landscaping and lake view are spectacular.

Hi Curtis, We absolutely loved staying there and it was actually hard to leave. Especially since the weather got lovely right when we were due to leave. As others have said, the photos don't do your place justice. I felt like I was at a resort in Hawaii. It's great that you have a heated pool and did thoughtful things like leave flowers, coffee, and water for your guests. Wow. What a gem! This place is like a little paradise in the middle of Ohio. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the lake, the views and everything else Curtis' place has to offer. The apartment is big and tastefully decorated. There was water and beer in the fridge and everything one would need for cooking (there is also a brand new commercial grill by the pool). The pool is big, deep and heated. The entrance into the lake is rocky but doable if you really want to swim (which we did, and it was great). Curtis was very flexible and generous with his home. And we absolutely loved the flower composition he made for us, what a nice touch...

This place is really a gem; as others said before me it really is even more beautiful than the photos. The place is an apartment style unit on the ground floor that opens up to the pool area, with the host's living area upstairs. There is easy access to the lake, and you'll be treated to the sounds of the waves during your stay. Great pressure in the shower, nice kitchen and grill for any cooks out there, and a comfortable and spacious living area. The pool is fantastic, and Curtis provided us with some rafts that were very comfortable. Curtis also made sure that everything was tidy and ready upon our arrival and truly made us feel welcome. I would definitely go back!
