The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • What a lovely place! So remote and quiet - a perfect place to be shut away from the world but equally super close drive to the shops and lovely coastal walks. Thoughtful touches like books and DVDS for our stay as well. Thank you for having us xx

  • The treehouse was absolutely wonderful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The place had everything we needed so we were able to cook in most nights very easily. We also got a lot of local advice from Emma and Linda which we explored during the days, even managed to do a lovely long walk in the sunshine (in march, a lovely surprise). The place was very clean and had a very comfy bed! Mainly it's waking up surrounded by nature that is the most relaxing and enjoyable part about this place! Definitely recommend!

  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

  • Great place for a quiet weekend get away. Very peaceful with the river running below and the sound of birds in the trees. Close proximity to St Ives and not far into Penzance. Great communication and information before our arrival which made the whole trip hassle free.

Our cozy, open-plan Cottage is the perfect couples retreat. Surrounded by lush green fields and set in the traditional granite courtyard of Hendra Farm. Woodland walks in the stunning Cornish countryside and waking up to the sound of nature will be sure to ease you into your holiday! The cottage is a charming space that has a warm homely feel, with the fire and underfloor heating. It is located just 20 minutes walk away from the heart of St Ives, away from the hustle and bustle. We accept dogs.
Come rain or shine, the cottage and it's sunny courtyard setting will no doubt create fond memories on any trip to Cornwall. With it's exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and great sense of space. We have taken care to make sure you will have everything you need for a comfortable Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to all the local handy information you could need. Relax and unwind! I have grown up on Hendra Farm, although we don't have any animals (apart from our chickens!), we have a lot of land and space to roam about and explore, with woodlands, rope swings. The Steeple with it's 360 degree views to both coasts, in Steeple Nature Reserve is well worth a walk to. If you are looking for somewhere scenic that is a short stroll down the Cornish lanes to the town then this cottage is perfect for you. We provide towels- 2 bath towels and a hand towel- and kitchen essentials such as tea towels.
The Cottage is situated in the courtyard of Hendra Farm. There are 6 other cottages here, with 1 of them is a long let, 4 of them are holiday lets and my sister Kirsty lives in the last 1. It has a welcoming community feel, everybody is friendly and says hello whilst passing by.

  • If you are looking for a relaxing weekend get away to St Ives, studio 2 is the place to stay. It’s cosy, cute and clean. Jayce and Hannah are were very helpful hosts, very quick to respond to any queries and left us with lots of helpful recommendations for what to do and where to eat! We particularly enjoyed a walk along Porthminster beach followed by a cream tea at Porthminster cafe. We also had a lovely walk along the beach at Carbis bay. If you’re looking for delicious fish and chips then head to ‘Harbour fish & chips’ in the harbour of St Ives - worth a visit! Thank again Jayce and Hannah, we would love to come back in the future.

    Flora2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Prompt communication, fantastic and in depth recommendations that covered a range of options for us. Would definitely stay again! (And would recommend friends stay too!)

    Amy2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah & Jayce’s communication could not be faulted- always responsive, very helpful, friendly & efficient :) We stayed in one of Jayce & Hannah’s cleverly converted farm buildings- one of 6 arranged around a cosy courtyard with paving/cobbles, foliage, flowers & a mature central tree. Outside each cottage there is a bench or a little garden table & chairs- lovely peaceful place to sit. Although the yard & cottages are at the end of a narrow country lane, we found the farm easily using google maps- though we couldn’t see a sign saying ‘Hendra Farm’ on the big, old stone posts at the entrance- but it was recognisable from the air bnb photos. Parking was easy in the lane just outside the entrance- no need to pull in unless you have to carry in a lot of heavy luggage. The little cottages felt immediately welcoming with the strings of lights draped decoratively outside- & lovely lighting inside too- thoughtfully left on for the arrival of guests. So too the under floor heating which made indoors feel very homely- The warmth was very welcome as we had had a 6 hours drive in strong winds & driving rain & mostly in the dark- cup of tea/coffee very much needed on arrival- these are provided- but remember to bring a little milk (& decaf, if that’s your preference). The cottage is open plan & spacious downstairs with a good sized kitchen with a table. There’s a sofa & TV area, & WiFi connection was easy. The bathroom is downstairs, tucked near the stairs at the back, all stone tiled with loo, sink & wet room shower- with toasty under floor heating too. Lovely :) Sleeping is upstairs under the eves on a mezzanine which lies over the whole downstairs footprint. Clean, comfy & cosy with more pretty festoon lights. There is plenty of floor & cupboard space for baggage. The peaceful, countryside location is great- I imagine, especially in the summer when St Ives itself is always rammed. If you have a car, it is less than 10 mins drive to centre of St Ives- or, if you have time & there is a bus stop a little walk away. We were driving, so did not locate the bus stop- but if the weather had not been so horrendous, given the nightmare finding a park in general space in St Ives, we would have tried out the bus! Even in horrid weather in Feb (tho, admittedly, half term), sharking round & round the official car parks, waiting for someone to leave, is the most likely scenario. Once parked, the cost is relatively cheap. All in all, we loved Hannah & Jayce’s style & appreciated their intelligent organisation. They also managing other lovely places on air bnb in/near St Ives that are worth checking out :)

'The Old Workshop' is a beautiful One-Bed modern home in easy walking distance to St Ives Town Center, Harbour, Tate Gallery, and beaches. The house has an open-plan living area on the ground floor with a spiral staircase connecting to the spacious light-filled bedroom upstairs. A perfect getaway for couples and singles wanting to escape the city and soak up everything that St Ives has to offer. Also, the entire home is yours to enjoy interruption-free for the entire duration of your trip!
'The Old Workshop' is a creative, light open space, with modern appliances (WiFi, Apple TV and NetFlix) that embraces a casual "Surf Crash Pad" kind of feel. The property catches the morning sunshine through the big open windows filling the space with light, perfect for sinking in to your morning coffee. A spiral staircase connects the downstairs living area with the upstairs bedroom, with Queen size double bed. There is also hard flooring throughout which makes easy work of sandy feet after long days at the beach!! There is a sofa bed available for an extra guest also. The sofa bed converts quickly and easily when you fold out the seat cushions. Great for crashing for a few nights but maybe not ideal for longer stays.
St Ives is full of steep hills as I am sure you are aware! Which is what makes this place great as it is on the relative flat with easy access to the town and beaches without working up a sweat. The house is located on Bedford Road, which is nice and quiet, safe with very little through traffic. 'The Old Workshop' is conveniently located about 150m from the nearest Convenience Store and Banks, 200m from the best Pubs, and about 400m from the Harbour and Porthmeor Beach (that's the one with the Tate Gallery). The house is in such great proximity to the town that it's really easy to pop out and back to re-charge, without having to spend the whole day at the beach or traipsing about town.
  • A great location, compact and clean, comfy bed too!

    Chris2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Surf Pad is in a great location for exploring St Ives. Rowan was flexible and responsive about check-in time and other communication. Although it’s compact, the accommodation is well equipped and has good WiFi and TV! We really enjoyed our break there.

    Ella2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was just perfect for a 3 day visit to St Ives. The property was as described in the profile, cute, comfortable and had everything I personally needed. Its in a great location a 5 minute walk from town, so is pretty much on the doorstep to access restaurants, food stores, and even better the harbour walks. Rowans communication was fantastic before and after my stay, any questions were answered and all information provided before arrival about the property. A great price too, made it a great stay.

    Andrew2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rowan was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us lots of tips on where to park. He was enthusiastic in ensuring we had a great stay. The flat was really close to the town and beaches and despite staying in stormy weather the flat was cosy!

  • Rowen was a great host for responding to our questions about the local area, we had a fabulous time and really made the place feel like home for our 4 days away.

Put a log on the wood-burning stove and get cosy after a day exploring beautiful St Ives. With exposed stone walls and a beamed ceiling with skylight, this quaint Cornish cottage is a place to create a memorable holiday. Wake up to the sound of birds tweeting and breathe in the fresh Cornish air. The seating outside in the courtyard of this enchanting cottage offers a serene spot for an afternoon cup of tea.
The cottage is a lovely, cozy space that has a warm and homely feel to it, with the log burner, exposed wooden beams and underfloor heating. It is located just a 20 - 25 minute walk away from the heart of St.Ives. Surrounded by lush green fields and beautiful walks in every direction, it just may be the perfect getaway from civilisation. If your looking for some where that has a scenic, peaceful feel to it, with the knowledge that just down the road you can be back to the heart of town, then our cottage is perfect for you. We have taken care to make sure you have everything you need for the perfect Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to handy local information. I have grown up on Hendra Farm. We do not farm animals, so you wont be awakened by moo's or cockadoodledooo's, but we are sure you will love the space to roam around and explore the surrounding woodlands, play on the rope swings and fill your lungs with the fresh coastal air. The Steeple and Steeple Woodlands Nature Reserve are just up the hill. Come back and relax in this zen space. We provide towels - 2 bath towels and a hand towel - and kitchen essentials such as T towels. The closest bus stop is a 5 - 10 minute walk over the hill, which will take you to town, or other towns in cornwall. Or you can order a taxi to the front door.
Our cottage is situated in the courtyard of Hendra Farm, a short walk from St Ives surrounded by lush fields, woodlands, singing birds, and quiet Cornish lanes. There are six other cottages in the courtyard inhabited with friendly folk.
  • We stayed at this stylish cottage for 3 nights in March. The cottage itself if beautiful and full of character. The fire was a fantastic addition and we used this every night after a day of exploring. We did not meet Jayce and Hannah, but it was made clear they were available if needed. The cottage is located on a slight hill, about a 25 minute walk from town centre. We used a taxi to get in an out every evening (£7 each way). Overall, we highly recommend to others!

  • Great location, accommodation and hosts. Several cottages located in a courtyard which is situated in a very quiet location. Very picturesque with great attention to detail. Great communication from hosts. Only a short distance from St Ives. Highly recommend.

  • Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. Cosy and comfy and very clean. It was close enough to St Ives you didn't feel out of it but far enough away that you feel like you have gotten away from it all. Would definitely reccomend. The fact it was dog friendly was a deciding factor for us and the dog loved the wood burner!

    Ellen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts :)

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A homely, clean, cosy cottage set up in the hills above St Ives. Jayce and Hannah were the perfect hosts; detailed and speedy communication pre and during out stay. Lots of very good recommendations in and around the area; the Tinners Arms in Zennor being the highlight. The wood burner in particular was a welcome addition and really brought the place to life in the evenings. We would definitely return.

    Mark2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Despite the raging storm Ciara we have had a lovely few nights in the Barn. Its super cosy and our doggy Lola loved napping infront of the fire. Close enough to St Ives to enjoy it in the off season, but far enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Perfect. We needed to get hold of Jayce & Hannah and they literally called us within 5 minutes of our message. Thanks so much for our lovely little break, im sure we will be back!

  • We really enjoyed staying at the Garden Cottage. It’s charming, cosy and bijou, beautifully done up and in a wonderful location, off the beaten track. It’s close enough to St Ives to explore the town but far enough away to feel in the middle of nowhere. The walking in the area is great. Melanie is a wonderful and attentive host. The place is clean and the food and wine left for us were a lovely gesture. We’ll definitely be back.

  • A beautiful retreat, perfectly styled, cozy, comfortable, simply wonderful

    Valerie2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A divine little love nest situated in the middle of the Cornish countryside. Hosted by the very gracious Melanie, who made our visit very special with the smallest of touches and attention to detail. This little snug getaway way was superbly kitted out, and to be able to have our dogs with us extra special. Being able to get up, throw a jacket and wellies over my PJs and walk the dogs in seconds in the heavenly Cornish countryside was a dream come true. For us the double bed was too small, to make the trip completely perfect and it has helped me realize I really need to check the bed size when booking through AirBNB. The kitchenette was amazingly equipped to cook Christmas dinner and much more! In summary you will not be disappointed.

    Heather2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an absolute gem! Melanie was super helpful from the beginning, providing us some great recommendations for food/ places to visit. The Garden Room was perfect for our five night stay with the dog! Melanie had left us some goodies for when we arrived which were a welcomed treat after a long journey. Everything has been thoughtfully considered in every room, it’s beautiful! We enjoyed many bottles of wine by the lovely fire. Amazing beaches and restaurants in the surrounding area, our favourite being The Tinners Arms for a pint. Can’t wait to return. Thanks again Mel x

A Unique and lovingly renovated apartment, within very close proximity to all beaches in St.Ives. With its own outside space that catches the sun all day and late into the evening. Its the perfect peaceful, relaxing and romantic spot in lovely St.Ives
No.7 Teetotal Street, is a lovely place to reside in St.Ives, somewhere to relax and enjoy! It’s a listed residence and a part of an incredibly old and historical Area in the town called 'Downalong' this is traditionally where the fishermen and their families lived and stored their tackle and nets. WITH ITS VERY OWN OUTSIDE SPACE (rare in St.Ives) that gets sunlight from morning until late evening. I have tried to create a little sanctuary with plants and seating space for you to enjoy. The location; nestled within a small but perfectly formed, quiet traditional St.Ives street that’s very close to almost everything you would need to access to enjoy your stay, from beaches to restaurants, shops and walking routes out onto the beautiful cliff paths and The island. It really is the perfect spot. Coming through the traditional barn style front door, you have a FULLY Equip KITCHEN, with complementary, Tea, sugar and coffee, complete with breakfast bar, should you not want to utilize the huge amount of restaurants to your disposal when considering your dining options. THE TELEVISION is on a full tilt and swivel arm style bracket that you can turn to watch whether cooking, sat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen or seated in the lounge. It has digital channels at your disposal (reception in St.Ives can be poor at certain times of the day , this is due to tidal times and the weather). However, I have attached a HDMI lead so should you wish to bring your Apple TV or equivalent, you are more than welcome to attach it. There is a DVD player and a selection of dvds for your use as well. There is free WIFI and the code can be found on the card secured to the wall next to the router and dvd player. Please be respectful of the fact this is a 'residential' connection and although streaming anything is not a problem the connection is not one that will take being used for professional use or uploading or downloading huge amounts of data or videos. This will basically knock the wifi out for a while and you will need to reset the router. THE LOUNGE has a big bespoke Ibiza style day bed/sofa that is drowning in lots of cushions, pillows and throws that you can cosy into at night and watch a film, or hunker down with when the weather gets a little wild outside (mainly in the winter of course). All the cushions on the day bed can be taken out and placed on the bench outside should you prefer to sit in the sunlight with a drink and a good book, we just ask you take care of them and do not leave them outside in the rain or while you are not at No.7. THE ‘SEA WALL’ in the Lounge, is a big part of No.7’s unique features. It is a little fun spot to go to for maps (old and new) of Cornwall, Penwith and St.Ives. Very importantly it also has its very own Thermometer, Barometer to see what the weather will be doing plus a Tide Clock, showing the hours to high and low tide, which as you will witness in St.Ives is a very visible daily occurrence. However most importantly the wall has 3 features that you may want to utilise either outside at No.7 or at the Beach… 2 DECKCHAIRS that are hung on the walls with hooks that you can easily lift the chairs off and carry out. OUR LOVELY STRIPY WINDBREAK which is also set on hooks that you simply lift off . Perfect to take down to the beach to shield you from the breeze while you hopefully bathe in the sunshine of St.Ives. Just a little request : Please do take care of these items when taking them out of No.7, they have all been made especially for me by local sail makers in Penzance and we really wouldn’t want them lost or damaged unnecessarily. Please make sure they are back in their rightful places when it comes time for you to leave. THE BATHROOM has a lovely hot shower that you can use at anytime of day (switched on and off using the pull cord by the bathroom light along with the bathroom light that provides extraction for the steam) and guest towels galore for you to use from our boat ore towel rails. Please make sure your sandy feet are rinsed off outside using the exterior tap before showering, sand really is not a friend of the slightly antiquated drains in St.Ives. THE BEDROOM has an ample built in wardrobe , to unpack and store your bags, or cases. A cosy Double bed, with reading lights and plug sockets for phone chargers and the hairdryer etc. It also has a beautiful window seat to situate yourself at with a good magazine in the sunlight or to use as a little table when sat outside so the seagulls do not suddenly take an interest in you ☺The window is fitted with a black out blind , but also a net option for a little privacy, and a heavier grey curtain should you want to block the morning sunlight should a black out blind not be your thing. There are little wedges for the sash window should the wind make the frames knock a little. I really hope you enjoy the space, as I do when I am in St. Ives , its very special to me but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Best Wishes Gemma
BEACHES: No.7 is situated within equidistant of 4 of the 5 main beaches in St.Ives, Porthmeor Beach being my favourite, but Porthgwidden is a lovely spot too and your closest one to skip to, along with Bambaloose Beach (its a tidal beach though so at certain times of the day it isn't that accessible). The harbour beach is literally around the corner too and is quite the hype of activity in the summer but good atmosphere non the less. Porthminster Beach is little further away, across the harbour (10-15 minutes walk depending how busy the harbour is). Go Explore and if you feel like a surf go and see the lovely guys at St.Ives Surf School at Porthmeor Beach☺ WHERE TO EAT: Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, The Harbour Beach & Porthminster are close to and attached to some really lovely Restaurants. You must try and get a table at the Porthmeor Cafe for dinner or lunch, if not West Beach (which is open approx. June-September) on the far side of the beach has a lovely menu and is a fabulous location to chill out and watch the sunset over the beach. Porthgwidden also have a fabulous restaurant, for lunch and Dinner with sea view to boot. The Porthminster Restuarant which is on Porthminster Beach is famed and reviewed countrywide for its award winning menu and is also a fabulous location. If you do not feel like the walk over there, then there is plenty on the Harbour front to head to. Just around the corner is The Sea Rooms which is lovely in the day and in the evening, with all fresh local produce with a fabulous wine list and relaxed feel. Alternatively The Porthminster Kitchen is highly recommended, breakfast , lunch or dinner, you really cannot go wrong there and is the new sister of The Porthminster Cafe. On Fore Street there is amongst others; The Seafood Cafe which is a popular choice and further down Fore Street near the market place is Black Rock which is always highly praised for their food. Olive's Cafe near Teetotal Street is a little hidden gem too and Adrian the owner will always make you feel very welcome, great cakes!! I painted the outside wall of the café and now the inside for him too so let him know I sent you :). Bars like The Hub, The Balcony, Beer & Bird , Blass Burger & West Beach (Porthmeor) are more relaxed in their approach but are great for well made and good quality food, mixed with a bar feel to them.... there are so much more but I will let you go forth and conquer St. Ives on that front. TAKE A LOOK AROUND Norway stores is your closest convenience store, for basics on Back Road West. Fore Street, and the Harbour are the main shopping areas, there is an off license called Johns on Fore Street, which is stocked with anything you may require on that front, The Allotment Deli on Fore Street has everything from fresh fruit, bread , pressed juices and veg to olives, sandwiches and picnic items for the beach they even do toilet roll & tea bags and are the lovely gang that provide your welcome pack of goodies☺ Make sure you go and explore the coastal paths and walks local to St.Ives, they are breath-taking! Take a trip to the Tate St.Ives and don't forget to see the Porthmeor studios and Hepworth Museum , a truly insightful way of seeing the art scene and its famous historical effect on the area, one of my favourites .
  • Perfect location for a short break in St Ives. The flat was lovely and clean and was ideal for a couple. We also received brilliant restaurant recommendations as well as lots of useful tips on what to do on our trip. We would definitely return!

  • Amazing property. So quaint yet stylish. The property offers everything you could want from a short weekend break to a week or more away! The property is very central and located just a stones throw away from The Island car park. The property was extremely clean and we were welcomed by a delicious loaf of bread, butter, milk and a bottle beer. Very cosy at night time especially when you turn on the coal shoot lights. Gemma is a wonderful host and was very helpful and considerate when we had to amend our original stay due to my Daughter not being very well. Excellent communication from her side. Excellent stay, we will definitely be back!

Cosy granite cottage, situated in the lovely village of Heamoor. Close to beaches and countryside. Village has a great pub, shop and bakery for all your needs.
Our cottage feels like home to who ever visit. Please make it yours. We have a brand new bathroom that I designed to feel like a luxury escape. There are plenty of dog walks near by and I have left you a few maps for a guidance.
Safe and friendly neighbourhood. Wonderful and welcoming people.
  • Lovely little cottage, highly recommend

  • An absolutely fantastic and beautiful cottage, had absolutely everything I needed (and my dog hendrix) perfect location for exploring Emma was so lovely, responding quickly to any questions I had and even allowing me to extend my stay by one night with no fuss. Could not recommend enough.

  • Very nice place.Very well located.Quiet at night.

    John2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was located in a great location, parking in nearby streets was easy. The house suited the 3 of us and the property was clean and tidy.

  • Nice little cottage. Located centrally for excursions in South Cornwall.

  • Fantastic stay. Myself and two friends (all adult guys) came to stay for a Cornwall golf tour. Beautiful location and wonderful area. Would definitely stay again.

  • A lovely little cottage in Heamoor, spacious and has everything you need for you and your family. Easily accessible to all the local spots and beaches. Emma was very responsive to our queries during our stay and made the cottage very welcoming for us. We have two small children and the space and kitchen was great for us. The only thing we had to do was secure one of the bedrooms upstairs for our two year old so she couldn’t get down the stairs in the night. All in all a brilliant family stay in a wonderful cottage!

    Sarah2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time at Emma’s cottage. It was quirky, fun, and homey. I really loved the cow painting. Haha The entire cottage was well stocked with anything you might need. The bedroom with the bunk beds opens up to stairs and not a hallway or a landing. Our kids (12 & 16) had no problems with it but if you have a sleep walker or a child who leaves their bed in the night to find mom/dad, it might not be ideal. Getting around locally was easy with the bus service. If you want to see other sites in Cornwall, you need to be prepared for long bus rides or have a car. Warren’s Bakery is really close by and we enjoyed our daily trip there. The pasties and coffee were delicious.

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

  • This is a very comfortable room with all amenities and a kitchenette, a beautiful view from the window, you can see St Michael's mountain, a heated bed, the owners take care of the guests, there are information magazines about Cornwall, tea, coffee and much more. Very creative friendly hosts, ready to give you the right information and help, gave the local chocolate. Very friendly and cute cat :) Very good location. • I really enjoyed my trip. The house is in a very quiet district not far away from Penzance. Yvonne is a great host. To stay there was for my like stay at home. She gave me a lot of great tips about the area. And she always had a time for small talk. She has 2 lovely cats ❤️.

    Agata2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne’s house is situated in a quite and peaceful neighbourhood, close to Penzance centre. She lets her guests use her private parking space right in front of the door, so it is perfect as starting point to visit south west Cornwall by car. Yvonne also let us use her kitchen and left a lot of things for us to prepare plentiful breakfasts. Also, if you love cats this is the place for you, since one of her two little ginger cats is incredibly friendly and always asking for cuddles.

    Federico2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne is very welcoming and happy to chat/recommend things to do in the area. The bedroom is a little smaller than expected but comfortable nonetheless, and the garden would be a great place to enjoy on a sunny day. The property is a 10-15 minute walk from Penzance town centre which has all the amenities you could need. Recommended!

    Robert2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne really pampers her guests with courtesy and kindness, well beyond the usual. The room, albeit small, is cozy and functional. The rest of the house is spacious and well equipped, and the garden is fantastic. Location is very good as well, a very short drive from Penzance, Newlin and many other nice places, villages and attractions (including St. Michael's Mount. Highly recommended.

  • A very quiet environment and peaceful garden. Comfortable room, clean and tidy. 15-20 minutes walk to city centre - straight down the road, can't possibly get lost. Yvonne is very nice, happy to chat or to leave you to your own devices. Great on local knowledge too! I felt really relaxed.

Budget studio room with basic kitchen facilities. Adjacent shower room/toilet. Perfect for the economic traveler. The basement is part of an old Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Penzance. Double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. Writing desk. TV. There's also a small contained kitchen area with fridge/freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave. 10 minutes from the train station or beaches and the town's famous promenade. This is a marvellously equipped room for budget travellers.
It's an old Georgian townhouse with wisteria climbing it's walls. Down some old granite steps is the studio. It's a large room but cosy and offers good privacy and of course it's very well equipped with a basic kitchen included so you don't have to eat out every night. The house itself is charming and very homely. There is a shower room and toilet at the entrance to the studio but there is also a larger family bathroom upstairs if that is busy.
  • A cosy welcoming space with cute kitchenette and character ☺️👨‍🎨👍

A delightful barn conversion set in a tranquil area of West Cornwall. This single storey barn conversion is in a quiet location yet close to Penzance and local beaches. The cottage is on one level (single step in places) and has a fully enclosed south facing garden. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, one with en suite wet room. The cottage makes an excellent base with south coast beaches 10 mins drive away and St Ives 20 mins drive.
A lovely barn conversion with exposed beams and wood burning stove. Enclosed safe garden with apple trees, vines and local wildlife. This is a perfect setting for summer and winter holidays.
The cottage is in the middle of the countryside but only a couple of miles from Penzance. Easy access to both north and south coasts.
  • Cobblestone cottage is a long barn conversion, spacious, well lit, welcoming and furnished well. Set in its own grounds, with country views, and car parking, it is private and quiet. Close to Penzance itself and nearby (about 6 mins by car) to big supermarkets. Night skies are brilliant for stargazers and we saw an astounding buzzard in nearby tree. Master bedroom with king size bed, and ensuite shower, sink and toilet, with light over mirror and power point for toothbrush or shaver. Smaller bedroom with two single beds, very comfortable and with plenty of good bedding and spare blankets. Large bathroom, with bath and plenty of towels. Kitchen well equipped and easy to function in. All on one level (apart from two separate single steps up to kitchen and to hall towards bedrooms. A small log fire burner gives the sitting room a cheering feel. Central heating radiators around the cottage are much welcomed in winter. Our hostess very thoughtfully provided some treats of scones, jam and Cornish cream, not to mention Cornish butter, and very helpfully milk in fridge and orange juice. Obviously bring your own food although there were some teabags, coffee and sugar provided too. Overall an attractive cottage and garden for a couple or a family wanting to enjoy the pleasures of Cornwall.

  • We have just returned from a very happy week staying at Cobblestone Cottage. The cottage is light, spacious, beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable and sits within the most idyllic countryside location. We were able to access some of the most wonderful areas from the doorstep on foot, by bike travelling to both the North and South coast and by short journeys in the car including Porthcurno, St Ives and Zennor. For our active family, this was a perfect setting for a wonderful week of memories. Many thanks x

  • We had a great long weekend here. So bright and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Milk in the fridge and a cream tea to get us started was fab. Pretty remote - Perfect for a quiet get away for our small family.

Set in a central position less than a 10 minute walk to the coastal waterfront, bus routes and local amenities. This deceptively spacious, two storey mid terraced cottage is perfect for a couple or single person looking to explore the Cornish countryside.
The light and airy double bedroom is available with built in wardrobe, TV and wifi. Downstairs there is good sized living and dining room with floods of light coming from the duel aspect. This also leads to the modern kitchen and luxury bathroom. The bathroom benefits from washing machine, bath and shower. The kitchen leads into the south facing Mediterranean style breakfast area and large courtyard, creating a perfect sun trap for the summer and space to hang any washing. There is a king sized bed and TV in the room. There are a number of kitchen appliances, including toaster, kettle and oven. (sorry there is no dishwasher) Washing machine. Pets considered
As the property is located centrally to Penzance town there are a number of shops, bus routes, restaurants and countryside.
  • Our stay at Jacqueline's place went really well: the check-in was smooth, the accommodation cozy and the breakfast tasty. She even reminded us about the Sunday lunch/roast, which we had forgotten about!

  • Great place to stay. Perfect location. Jacqueline is lovely and very welcoming. A great breakfast too!

  • Very recommended place, convenient to walk 6 minutes to the bus station, 10 minutes to the station, the room is spacious and comfortable, the public space is also very neat and clean! The owner is very warm and generous, and if there is a person who cleans the dishes, the kitchen will be very happy (the conditioning equipment is clean and complete). The homeowner asked us to pack the luggage after the check-out fee, which helped us a lot!

  • Sparkling clean, nice decor in the house, comfortable bed in a reasonably sized room. Good location within walking distance to tourist attractions.

  • Penzance is a mellow town and a good starting point for nummerable excursions. Staying with Jacqueline was a pleasure. This being our first experience jn a private room, we we’re a bit weary of who would be our host. But Jacqueline gave us the space we needed and a friendly chat now and then as well. All felt really natural.

Hello and a warm welcome.. Looking for a unique, rustic, quirky, tranquil and cosy getaway.. ?
Merrifield Lodge came into existence 25 years ago. Our unique family built cabin started off as a simple garden shed with the aim to use as an art studio for myself to paint in. Over the years various family members have stayed here and being part of a large family, the 'shed' gradually extended in an unusual and organic manner whereby reclaimed materials (mainly wood) were used to attach rooms to accommodate an ever growing family. Now all the family members have moved on and found a foot in the world we’ve decided to share our beloved cabin with you. Merrifield Lodge is a quirky wooden cabin with a warm, cosy and welcoming feeling, full of charm and tons of character.
The kings arms pub in the village just a short walk away that serves homemade meals throughout the day. No need to get in a car for those who enjoy walking, the location is surrounded by open fields, there are many fantastic walks in all directions.. great for Dogs! Those who are interested in historic sites the Merry Maidens stone circle is a lovely 45 minute walk across the fields too.
  • Lovely layout in cabin. Very well thought out. Great location as well!

  • Lovely, cosy lodge. Very well equipped. Quiet location within a short walk of Mousehole and the coast path. Claire was easy to contact by phone for any queries. A very enjoyable few days!

  • What a lovely place, quite quirky. Loved Claire's artwork. Nice, clean and well equipped. Was quite cold when we returned (we didn't want to waste electric leaving heaters on whilst we were out for the day) and took a little while to warm up, but was nice and cosy with all the heaters on! Never met Claire, but communication prior to departure was good.

  • We had a great stay at Chris’s place. The location to the town centre is ideal to explore Penzance but also easy to get out and about in the area. The annex has all the amenities one could need and much more. We were super comfortable staying there and Chris was also great with tips on where to eat and explore. We would definitely stay here again, thanks Chris!

  • Excellent stay. Nice cozy clean spacious flat close to the town centre. Great host. Perfect break away. Note. If you are travelling by car: as you head down st Clair Street towards the town take the left turning just before you get to the Fountain Tavern. There's a residents car park next to where the flat is located and you can drop of your bags. Chris will kindly show you where to park which is only a stone's through away.

  • Great location only 15 minute walk from the train station. Chris was a great host, very helpful and friendly. A lovely self contained annex however the WiFi was a bit patchy and didn't always work. A lovely breakfast basket was supplied which was great.

  • I can't imagine anyone not liking this home :-) The location is perfect, the apartment is very stylish and comfortable, with an excellent kitchen. Everything was prepared for us with great attention to detail. Phil and Chris are friendly hosts, they welcomed us with lots of useful local tips. We are very grateful!

    Katya2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic, better than I had expected. It is a great size with a lovely living room, comfortable bedroom, bright and clean bathroom, and a full kitchen. Chris was very responsive to my emails and texts. She met us when we arrived and when e left. While we were there, she left us bread, milk, marmalade and other food for breakfast and they were delicious. The location was great for getting into Penzance. It's a 5 minute walk into the town. She gave us some great recommendations. You must check out the Cornish cream tea at "The Front Room" and eat at The Turk's Head, the oldest pub in town. The only slight hitch is parking as their road is tight and parking is all off-street. However, both nights we stayed in Penzance we were able to snag the last parking spot on the street. This place is great value for the money. I'd recommend it highly. It was without doubt the best value/place we stayed at in our 2 week UK visit.

    Martin2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • The place is really amazing! It feels like home! Plus, Chris and Phil are the perfect hosts. They will extend their services beyond what is just needed. They will make you feel like family. Plus, the house is really beautiful, posh, clean and sleek! Amazing! We almost did not want to leave.

    Paoline2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time @12 It was a really nice clean and self-contained flat (Chris and Phil were upstairs if we needed them; we didn't add everything was great). It was a short walk into Penzance which was a really lovely town. The flat was an excellent size and was big enough that we could have whiled away a few hours when it rained if we had needed to.

    Charlie2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • I can not put into words how much myself and my partner loved this place, after being let down from Thomas cook and loosing our first holiday away we decided to book Cornwall instead. And hand on heart I’m glad we did, from the minute we booked until the minute we left we felt so happy and content. Nothing was to much trouble and you both went out your way to make sure we were ok and happy. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it’s justice, thank you so much for making us feel so welcome with all the homely touches, to the bread and jam etc you left we cannot wait to come back in the summer! Thank you for making our time in Cornwall one to remember and cherish x

The coach house is a listed historic building at the end of the garden of our Georgian house and dates from 1822. With its own access from the rear it is completely self contained. Entirely renovated in April 2019 following Historic England guidelines it benefits from efficient insulation and heating whilst keeping the character of traditional materials, lime plaster and paint finishes. Well situated in the heart of Penzance but quiet and private. A warm, comfortable and fun base for any season.
The Coach House was completely renovated in April 2019. It has central heating and a real flame gas fire for cosy nights after that winter coastal walk. The kitchen has gas hob, full size electric oven, fridge and microwave cooker. There is wifi and flat screen TV. The bedroom has a king size bed (150x200) and pocket sprung mattress. The shower room/WC is through an oak sliding door with lowish threshold. You have to duck to go in as it wasn't permitted to alter the historic fabric of the building. For a small building built to house a pony and trap downstairs and the driver/handyman upstairs its a bright, jolly and very warm place to stay. Parking for a normal car is in front of the main house - you just have to walk around a 5 house little terrace to reach the Coach House.
The Coach House is a stones throw from the main shopping streets which are characterized by a wide range of independents including galleries, delis, cafes and bars. Pedestrianized Causeway Head near opposite has some great cafe/restaurants, fish and chip shop, pubs, veg and organic shops and the best bakers (Baker Toms') in town). The independent Savoy Cinema is a minute away. The Acorn Arts Centre hosts a range of music, dance and theatrical events throughout the year with a great atmosphere. The Penlee Gallery is the towns museum with my favourite cafe and music and theatrical events al fresco in the park. Just down the hill is the Crown pub, the only brewery tap in Pz with a great free singers night on Mondays. We love just wandering about the town looking at the buildings which range from the poorest tiny fishermans' cottages to smart Georgian merchant's houses. There are many long alleys connecting the town with the harbour and give a great insight into the architecture and exotic gardens. Penzance has a uniquely subtropical climate demonstrated by the palms and exotic plantings in Morrab Garden. There are classic stately home/National Trust gardens on the edge of town with acres of 150 year old exotic plantings which survive nowhere else in the UK. The mid summer festival, Mazey day is the big event in the towns calendar with street markets, processions (wonderfully pagan with green men, dragons and music) and a week of special events. The whole town is involved. The winter solstice festival is great fun and fantastically macabre. Penzance is a very friendly town. You're never far from a cream tea or Cornish pasty.
  • We had a lovely stay at The Coachhouse, it was immaculate and super clean and a really fun, relaxing space. The house was very warm and comfortable and the location was great, near to the shops and a short walk down to the seafront. It was great to meet Scott, he was very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again for any future visits.

  • A modern, comfy flat in a location convenient to the town. Nice and warm on a very cold weekend, which we appreciated. Scott was great at responding to anything and offered helpful suggestions on what to see, enabling us to make sure we saw one garden on the day before it closed for the season.

  • The Coach House is a beautifully renovated space close to the town centre, plus its in a quiet area for those who like getting an undisturbed night’s sleep! It is super cosy, has everything you need for a night or a week’s stay. It is so close to all the pubs, restaurants, train station, promenade and a little independent cinema. The town itself is a perfect place for exploring the nearby area. I didn’t have a car, but was able to make my way around without difficulty even on a Sunday. Scott was fantastic for answering any questions that I had and flexible with my check in arrangements. I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this little space and would highly recommend it.

  • Thankyou so much Scott, for letting us rent your gorgeous house! Perfect location for trains, busses, and lots of shops, beach, and coastal walks. We would highly recommend your property which was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchen, together with the adjoining sitting area allowed us some cosy evenings at home! Thanks again Scott, we'll be back!

    Frances2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Coach House is the perfect place to stay in Penzance. It's beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need: modern shower and kitchen; comfortable bed and a relaxing lounge area with a TV. Excellent location near the main streets, but tucked away so it still feels quiet and private. Walking distance to and from everything you need. Scott and Lynn were perfect Airbnb hosts -- incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and generous (letting us leave our bags before check-in). I hope to return and stay again soon!

  • Thomas is a great host - he and Gail were lovely, and the small touches they provide made us feel so welcome. The Garden Flat is fantastic and had everything we needed along with some stunning views. Only a short walk down into Newlyn which is lovely, the walk back is a little more steep/invigorating but worth it for the views. Thank you

    Anthony2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The fact you can come and go as you please meant I was able to enjoy late lie-ins, and popping back and forth to have lunch/snacks without disturbing the owners and their family life - that part alone is fantastic, saving me money on constantly buying food out - but added to this, the cream tea on arrival, the plentiful supply of teas, coffees, beverages, even chocolate biscuits, made this cosy flat a perfect place for me whatever the weather - will definitely return.

    Larry2019-10-31T00:00:00Z

My home is 3 minutes from the train/bus stations, down a less than picturesque alleyway, though very close to the sea, town; shops, restaurants, pubs. This simple room is on the ground floor; very small (2.3 x 2.1 metres), cosy and perfectly formed and next to the shared bathroom. It is a great base for being out exploring Cornwall. There's a kettle, toaster, crockery/cutlery and no other facilities. Towels are also provided. I live here with my dog and sometimes a lodger or 1-2 other guests.
My house is tucked away, with a private courtyard, though close to the sea and town. It is my home so a working and living space, not a perfect holiday home. It is often quiet, though I regularly have friends visiting, so maybe a little chaotic or peaceful. The room is tiny, which I like and the bed comfy! The bed can be set up as a king size (which takes up most of the room), or as a small single bed.
Penzance is a working cornish town by the sea. It is wonderful because it is full of creative people and surrounded by wonderful land and seascapes. It has many charity shops, lots of pubs, places to eat, the oldest seawater lido in the country and easy access to west penwith (a coastal area with wonderful moorland and sacred sites). It is also a town with poverty and lots of social problems - I hope you will love us for all of this!!
  • Rachel is a very good host, the room is as described, small but comfortable, clean and with good privacy. Location is very good walking distance to high street and marina.

    José2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • The room is a perfect pied a terre for a beautiful stay in Penzance. Rachel has some lovely details that boosted our stay.

    Maria Eugenia2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely and charming place to stay, the room is small but it doesn’t matter if you’re only sleeping there. There are some very cute cafes nearby that do breakfasts, and the train and bus stations are only about a 2 minute walk away. Rachel was a lovely host and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Alex2019-12-08T00:00:00Z

  • Rachel's place was just as described and spotless clean. I didn't see Rachel but her co-host Liz treated me well. She gave me lots of information and I enjoyed chatting with her. Thank you Liz!

  • The room was very small but was fine for a short stay. The room seemed nice and clean. Great location as its right on the main street with shops and places to get food. Rachel was away but the host we had was great and always in contact with us to make sure everything was ok. Perfect for anyone on a budget like we were as it was the cheapest room I could see in the area.

LovingLife is a basic ROOM only accommodation in a shared family house for 1 or 2 people. An ideal base to visit beautiful Penzance and nearby areas of the South West. Easy walking distance for town, cafes, theatre, parks, promenade, local transport, or to catch the Scillonian III. A Victorian terraced house on a narrow street with free parking on a first come basis. I have a friendly tortoiseshell cat called Tom (she's a girl) who has entry to the house via a cat flap in the front door.
A victorian terraced house within close walking distance to the town centre where you will find many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and coastal walks. The promenade, harbour and Jubilee pool are less than 15 minutes walk. Close proximity to the train and bus station if you wish to explore the beautiful South West of Cornwall. A day trip to the Isles of Scilly can be caught on the Scillonian III by the harbour. Penzance town offers a vibrant, friendly vibe of music, food, arts and crafts. Traditional Cornish food and music festivals are held from April until December. Also within walking distance are a choice of various talented performances and shows at the Acorn theatre or PZ gallery in town.
A narrow road with 3 x names on it ( we are in Cornwall!) Follow directions if driving to Barwiss hill. I am Medrose Terrace, the opposite end from the Rosevean shop end with my LovingLife plaque on my house. I am close to town but have friendly neighbours around me so please be respectful of noise levels.
  • We didnt meet Rona but the room was fab, had everything we needed. Communication was great and the location was too. Short walk to the harbour and Rona left local tips in the room for us. Would definitely recommend

    Louise2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Small room with everything you need in a very quiet house! Although we didn't meet Rona, she was accommodating and responsive. Everything was spotless; clean towels in the very spacious bathroom with modern shower in a bathtub, professional hairdryer, TV (perfect for cold stormy evenings). The two shared bathrooms (shower+toilet+sink in one and toilet+sink! in the other) were pretty much private ones, as we didn't notice anyone else using them during our short stay. When the storm was raging outside, the room felt a bit cold during evenings as the heater couldn't be turned up. Bright desk space out in the corridor in front of the room, should you need it. Tom the cat doesn't fail to greet you every morning and will try to enter the room as well. Uphill walk (bit more than 10 min) from the train station, and house road was closed to cars for some mild construction while we were there, but nothing impeding. Overall amazing value for a short stay in this quaint space!

    Laure2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

Hi my name is Lowenna! I’m new to Air B&B and really looking forward to meeting some fellow travellers. I try to price my listing honestly, so it’s accessible for the solo traveler and gives you value for money! The location of my home is brilliant, your in 10 minutes walk of the train station and 10 minutes walk from most activities/sights in Penzance. The room is cosy, comfortable, clean and light. I live on my own and have two very friendly kittens.
This is an ideal location for any solo traveler or working person wanting to stay/explore Penzance! A little about the house... I have just bought my first home and I am doing it up little by little. The decor is clean, fresh, with antiques and an industrial sort of style. I up-cycle furniture and enjoy making the house look really unique.
This is a safe area, and the best location, close to the train station and bus stop. Close to local restaurants and shops. The house is a mid-terraced house, with period features. I am constantly doing it up and improving on the decor and interior. Your room is at the back of the house so mostly very quiet and well lit with sun in the afternoon.
  • Very nice and clean place close to all kind of shops, restaurants, city center and railway station. I can really recommend Lowenna's place!

    Jakub2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • My second time staying with Lowenna. The house is very clean, quiet location and comfy bed. The hose is in ideal location very central. Lowenna is great host and the cats very friendly. Will stay again

  • Lowenna’s place is really cute and her cats are super sweet! Great location, easy walking distance to anywhere in town.

  • Lowenna is a really friendly person, she’s very welcoming and has a nice cosy home. The two cats are cute, the house is in a good location, walking distance to the train station, shops pubs and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

    Jamie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna went out of her way to accommodate me very last minute and was a life saver in the storm! So nice to have somewhere warm and cosy and to be greeted by two absolutely gorgeous cats! Would definitely recommend!

    Leona2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Just stayed at Lowenna’s house and it was totally lovely. The space is stylish, comfy bed, awesome shower and bathroom and right in the centre of town. Would definitely stay again

    Barry2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lowenna is an excellent host, and such a lovely person. I really appreciated the lovely touches in the room, her two adorable kitties (such purr bags!) and how she let me leave a few things at hers for the weekend as I was hiking! Check in was really easy too and great value with breakfast. Thank you so much, Lowenna!

It may only be a stone throw from Penzance however it borders the countryside. Nearby you can explore the breathtaking beaches of Porthcurno (and the minack theatre) sennen cove, st Ives. Please note marazion with its iconic causeway out to st michaels mount (cover photo) is a couple of miles from the schoolroom and this is not the view from the room. Trengwainton gardens is within walking distance. Trewidden and Tremenheere Sculpture gardens a short car journey. Further a field there are many more gardens and beaches to visit a well as the famous Eden project. You'll certainly never run out of places to see, walk, eat or relax.
  • The school house is a charming place to stay in a quiet village centre within walking distance of Penzance. Great location for getting around Cornwall with handy amenities on your doorstep. Kate was lovely, quick to respond and gave us loads of tips for eating out/things to do. The cushions and blanket are a wonderful touch to take to the Minack. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

  • So pleasantly impressed with this lovely little find. A stylish, comfy and quaint place to base our roaming around Cornwall. We walked to and from Penzance each time and it was a 20-25 minute walk to burn off all the pasties/fish & chips etc! Would happily stay here again. We loved the breakfast in a basket to start the day. Kate was really helpful and personable. Glad to have found this place for our trip.

    Sarah2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kate was easy to talk to when we asked about local amenities. Easy check in with lock box and great little place. Unique and quirky and everything you need. Perfect little place to explore surrounding areas. My boys loved the little snug!

Daphne is a 1960s Castleton caravan, a real classic of her time. She has been restored to a high standard and has a quirky, retro, folky feel with plenty of added charm. Included are crockery, cutlery, glasses, an electric hob, toaster and kettle.
It is secluded and quiet here. We are fairly high up and have views over the moorland almost to the North coast! We can see Chun Castle and Ding Dong tin mine from our place. Our gas powered shower and compost toilet with solar lighting are completely off grid. They are a few metres outside the caravan and shared with the cabin. You can access a firepit for spending time outside in the evening and explore the bridleways nearby.
Rural getaway set within acres of farmland, close to some of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches, dramatic coastine, ancient heritage and artistic towns. We are lucky to be close to beautiful beaches such as Porthcurno and Sennen as well as a stones throw from the local amenities of Newlyn and Penzance. The moorland is visible from here and there are stunning walks to be found nearby. It is secluded and quiet here. We are fairly high up and have views over the moorland almost to the North coast! We can see Chun Castle and Ding Dong tin mine from our place. Relax in the rural surroundings whilst planning active days at a variety of locations nearby.
  • Such a sweet caravan to stay in, very good location to explore Cornwall. Comfy with enough bedding to stay warm if it gets chilly, lights and plugs to charge phones and nice hot shower block. Good privacy away from the main house and the other summer house, loved it and would stay again if we return to Cornwall :) thank you

    Anni2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic 5 days here . Was pleasantly surprised with the caravan . Told libby we was going to arrive early and she accommodated us to get in early . Very very peaceful and relaxing . Piping hot shower and the toilet took abit to get used too but was fine also could do with better lighting in the toilet at night but this was not a problem . Used the fire pit one night was beautiful . Will definitely be returning next year

    Graham2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect stay

    Jordan2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Daphne is a very cosy caravan set in the field just in front of Libby’s house. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every second of it, you have everything around you, from newlyn to Penzance. Toilet and shower are kept very clean, however you do become friends with the spiders after a while! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful caravan :)

    Keiron2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place. The views are fantastic both close in (of a charming field) and far away hills. Amazing hot water in the shower which we were grateful for. The caravan is very stylish, having been decorated with a British Marimekko vibe. There were nice touches like Ecover eco friendly dish soap, lovely vintage Sheffield cutlery, and high quality new red upholstery. We survived a windstorm and nothing leaked, although we did experience the drama of the storm more than in a stone dwelling. There are plenty of sheets, duvets, and wool blankets to feel comfortable. Libby and Sam have created a cozy space that is a wonderful escape from city life.

    Matt2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Libby is very great host she keep the caravan very clean and well furnished. It have electricity inside. Outside area is very quiet and private as well. There is very stable network. The bathroom is very clean. Accessibility to this place is perfect it is 5 minutes from Penzance. I have rated it with 5 stars.

    Tibor2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Daphne is a beautiful caravan and a perfect place to explore South West Cornwall. Libby and Sam are lovely hosts and were really helpful whenever I had a question. The farm is so quiet at night that I slept like a log the whole trip.

    Amy2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant location close to lots of good places to visit. Very peaceful - a chance to get away from it all. We enjoyed breakfasting with butterflies who joined us every morning. Daphne is just as she is in the photographs and brought back memories of caravan holidays when we were children for both of us!

  • Judy’s & Glenn’s home is in a lovely, peaceful location at the end of a pretty and peaceful terrace of cottages and houses, and they made us feel extremely welcome from the very beginning. The house is close to Penzance promenade and an easy walk to the town centre and Chapel Street. Judy and Glenn are the perfect hosts; their house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated throughout. We never approach staying as B&B guests in someone’s home looking for faults, but if we had we wouldn’t have found any. The bed is beautifully comfortable and we had sole use of the bathroom. Breakfast was an amazing medley of homemade produce – sourdough bread, granola, preserves and yoghurt. As a previous reviewer has commented, one of the nicest Airbnb experiences we have ever had.

    Eric2020-03-11T00:00:00Z

Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. There are lots of cushions so it can also be used as a sofa. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
This is an idyllic and peaceful retreat for two. We’ve been told by our guests that it’s a ‘real gem’, ‘perfect bolthole’ and ‘made them feel like a local’ ‘in a home from home.’ The accommodation is private and central. Please note there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster and kettle as it doesn’t have a kitchen area. The Lookout is attached to a family home in the heart of a bustling Cornish village with a beautiful harbour and beach. Its location is ideal to get to everything Mousehole has to offer including fabulous restaurants, deli, cafes and galleries.
Mousehole is a beautiful Cornish village packed full of charm. The small beach is often far warmer than the forecast as it's protected by the harbour walls. It has a wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes. As it is part of the South West Coast Path, it also makes an ideal stopping place for walkers. The village is only a short car journey from St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, Land's End and lots of beautiful beaches. We also benefit from a fantastic bus service that runs every 30 minutes. During the winter season, the village comes to life with its fabulous Christmas lights and the procession for Tom Bowcock's Eve.
  • Managed to park on coastal road so was free, two min walk to property. Had amazing nights sleep, lovely walk round the area and the best bath we've ever had. Such a gorgeous space, thanks for hosting us!

The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed, the bedrooms are lovely and the bed divine! The bathroom was sparkling. Situated within a short distance of Lamorna cove and Porthcurno, it’s the perfect retreat for those wishing to experience real Cornwall.
