This accommodation offers world class access to “The Snow Capitol of Alaska”. Allwheel/4x4 is mandatory in winter. Others may ski, snowmobile or walk the access road. In summer (may-oct) the access is a gravel road that any car/truck can drive. The location is one of the highlights of this listing. You are minutes away from Thompson Pass and Keystone Canyon.

Experience the beauty of Alaska as our grandparents did when they first homesteaded in the 60s. Pappy and Grandma came north and built their homestead on this very location while mining, raising kids, running a general store, cabins, and a campground. We hope to continue their legacy of hard work and hospitality!
