  • A great little stop on the way up the Stuart Highway. We loved the cows and a lovely walk with our pups at sunset.

  • Perfect place to stay on the drive between Adelaide and Alice Springs. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks Stacey!

  • Highly recommend this place.

  • Excellent, highly recommend, Experience you will not forget!!

  • We drive to Adelaide every year from central Australia and stop at Wirraminna station every time. Our kelpie runs off with the station dogs and loves chasing the cattle. The accommodation is the best for the entire 1500km road trip and is in what looks like a historic building. It’s a good price, includes brekky and has everything you could want in a stop over. The station is beautiful to walk around and watch the sun set and rise. Stacey is great and the communication is clear and very relaxed. Good value Clean Relaxed,And very scenic.

  • The very best dog friendly stay as always, hosts even secure their working dogs to allow mine to play. Excellent hosts and an amazing dog friendly experience for our second stay at Wirraminna Station, highly recommended to all especially those with dogs! 🤗🐶

  • Friendly, amazing setting, great accommodation, loved it!

Wirraminna Station is a working cattle property. It is the perfect opportunity for travellers to relax and enjoy the South Australian outback, whether staying to explore the area including private access to Lake Hart, or as a stopover on their travels.
  • A fabulous place to stay for a night or two and enjoy the Stars and outback. If travelling on a long journey this is a perfect spot to stop and recharge for a night.

  • Incredibly clean and spacious room. Plenty of cooking equipment and lots of room to prepare. Bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy with good linen supplied. Brilliant cool space inside for the summer heat or would in turn also be snuggly and warm in the winter. The opportunity to roam around and really see the out back for what it is and the resources they have and conditions they deal with is amazing. Loved meeting their 2 dogs, some cattle and seeing plenty of wildlife roaming freely.

  • Awesome place, had an overnight stay and planned to leave early. However we all slept in. The beds were super comfortable. The continental breakfast provided was more than expected. Plenty for all 5 of us. Would stay here again.

  • A perfect place to stop on the drive between Alice Springs and Adelaide. Clean and comfortable! Looking forward to our next stay.

  • Stacey was a great host. This is a true outback experience with big skies and quiet. The accomodation is lovely and comfortable. The aircon is a wonderful thing but the genuine old building stays cool even in the 32 degrees we had when we were there. Recommend this for anyone wanting to see genuine Australia.

  • We stayed 2 nights separated by 3 nights between and would stay again. See previous review.

  • A lovely heritage building on a working station. Stacey is a wonderful host with great communication, thoughtful touches provided in the room made for a wonderful nights stay :-)

  • Comfortable accom in a remote area. Beautiful stars at night.
