We had only booked addiction and we spend a great weekend. No worries to collect the keys of the house. The jacuzzi is a real plus. We even got to use the gas grill while it is normally expected for the main house. Just to note that addiction lacks some accessories (corkscrew, dishcloth, dishwashing liquid, store for the night, etc ...) but this did not prevent us to have a good relaxing time. The house and garden are lovely.

The house is very nice and modern, beautiful garden and well maintained. It really felt at home. Only small problem: the kitchen was not very clean (fridge, oven and cutlery drawer). Moreover, there are no curtains on the floor so we were awakened by the light of day, but with that blue sky that did not disturbed us. The house is quite independent of dependence, however, having a dog it is true that it could disturb tenants. The chance that we had is that the dependence of tenants also had a dog! The setting is superb and we have been very welcomed by Jerome who suggested a few visits! The owner came over the weekend to ask blinds on the windows, which was nice! Unfortunately in the middle of August: Can not sleep in the morning, the blinds are useless, you need curtains for the windows which is displayed full! We had to caulk the windows with sheets! System D! In fact, we had a lot of inconvenience during our 10 days we would rather avoid! First order of security: our son was sleeping near the staircase has no railing upstairs and there's this French window overlooking the garden without railings! It's very dangerous! A decorative shelf full of stones fell on our feet because it was loose. Then for Electrical and plumbing: the machine dishwashing has never worked (the water supply had been coupled by mistake), there is a loose connection on the stove and the switch the kitchen and the switch from loose shutters that remained in our hands then the lever faucet and sink the sink running into the void! Finally hygiene or cleanliness defects surely the most problematic: the duvets and pillows available in the bathroom are stained, yellowed! The barbecue had not been cleaned and the gas cylinder was empty without recharging so we cleaned but use only once. The vacuum cleaner bag was full and smelled terrible wet dog, can not be used because no replacement bag when there was dog hair everywhere (including on the table of the living room) and we hoped the remove. And finally, a lot of food left in the closet are outdated as infusions of 2012 and missing a kettle and a toaster for breakfast. In short, on a weekend, but it can go over 10 days, that's a lot! I think this house all to be a perfect house but with more rigor and demands from the owner who however seems goodwill but it is difficult to maintain and rent the same time a house uninhabited. We will return with pleasure when standards of safety and hygiene will be respected!

La Mare au Cedar is very responsive, we had the answers to our questions very quickly. We got the keys from Jerome friendly and helpful. The accommodation is highly recommended: the decor top, there are board games and consoles (useful in case of bad weather), the garden really nice and quiet location and a pretty good location (35 minutes from the sea, 5mn the village for shopping and small paths nearby for walking. We spent the weekend of August 15 at La mare cedar and we were charmed by this cozy accommodation, tastefully decorated, well appointed and ultra functional. Sebastian the owner of the premises and Jerome who greeted us was lovely, very professional and available from the first minute of booking. We felt like home and it was very pleasant with sunshine by appointment! We had the chance to enjoy pleasant outside, barbecue and even a Jacuzzi bonus: a great time! Nous avons passé un WE excellent entre amis dans la maison de Stéphane et Stéphanie. Nous cherchions un endroit calme à la campagne pour nous détendre entre amis avec nos enfants, et notre séjour a été supérieur à nos attentes. La maison est même plus belle que dans les photos, avec beaucoup de style (alliant le charme de l'ancien avec le confort du moderne), et très confortable et bien équipée. Les lits sont ultra confortables ainsi que la literie qui est de très bonne qualité. Le jardin est magnifique, un véritable atout de la maison. Même si nous n'avons pas pu en profiter pleinement à cause du mauvais temps, la maison est faite d'une façon telle qu'on profite du jardin même de l'intérieur. Les plus de la maison : la chambre dans la dépendance, car elle a permis du véritable repos à nos amis qui sont venus sans enfants, la chambre d'enfants avec sa cabane et sa dînette, car elle nous a donné beaucoup de moments de paix entre adultes, et le grand plus: le bar, qui nous a permis des soirées musique pendant que les enfants dormaient. Nous avons pu profiter aussi des charmes de la région: de fermes pédagogiques qui terminent leur parcours avec une dégustation des produits du terroir, jusqu'au plaisir de se promener dans le port de Honfleur (seulement à 30 min). Des après-midi à lire face au jardin à côté de la cheminée, de petites promenades pour voir les vaches, les chevaux et les moutons, des repas préparés avec les produits locaux, comme le délicieux poulet d'Agnès (du vrai!), la fermière voisine, des soirées cocktail- musique dans le bar de la dépendance. Pour couronner le tout: la gentillesse et disponibilité de Stephane, qui a su nous conseiller et nous faire sentir comme chez nous. Bref: un séjour parfait. Nous y retournerons bientôt!

Celine welcomed us and made himself available. Water leakage was present at our arrival in the kitchen who later was very embarrassing because water has accumulated. Over the hours, the water spread in the kitchen. For two days we had to mop the floors regularly. (Annoying during the holidays). A plumber has occurred on the third day to repair the problem (the leak came from the upstairs room with the ceiling, pierced pipes). A commercial gesture is made by our host. Regarding the rest of the house, the garbage are not collected. Must deposit them in the village (3 minutes by car). The wifi captures very little upstairs. Many spiders and cobwebs in the house. (At the entrance, in the corners of the windows in the bathroom). Therefore, the tariff for the household is too high. (Present dust, spiders and webs and garbage take the village by car). The location of the house is nice and relaxing with its large garden without screw has screw. The neighbor is super nice and very helpful. The nearest town Bernay is about 15 minutes. Very few restaurants if there are supermarkets and fast food. Deauville and Honfleur are about 40/45 minutes. We stayed 5 days.

We were made to feel welcome from the very first contact we made with Céline, she was warm and very helpful, answering all our questions. We loved staying in this lovely spacious French Home, and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. We were shown all we needed to get started. We really did feel as though we were stepping into a French way of living, and enjoyed great accommodation, a wonderful kitchen that had everything we needed, much more than you usually get when staying away from home. I particularly loved the big windows you could open in the kitchen, which made you feel as though you were cooking in the garden, you could enjoy this moment while appreciating the view. The garden was fabulous, and was a great place to run and play, our family enjoyed this, particularly my 8 year old son. The house was well positioned for day trips into the beautiful surrounding areas, it was in easy distance to get to a boulangerie for croissants, and the supermarché for all other needs. We particularly loved going to Honfleur, and had a great day on the beach in Trouville-sur-mer. Céline was also very helpful with various questions we needed to ask along the way, and always got back to us promptly. We had a wonderful family holiday, and would fully recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at Eric's house for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful country house with all the facilities that you need. Eric and his wife greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Despite we don't speak much French, we felt warmly welcomed. Our kids loved the swings and watching the sheep behind the house. A lovely place for family!

We were very well received by Edwige and Eric in their lovely family home in which we spent 4 days. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. One bathroom for 8 people can be a bit tight. Heating with fireplace is the asset of this charming home, we spent a long time near the fire. The house is secluded, next to a farm that used to be green and quiet. A field nearby cows and a well maintained garden. For shopping, the house is 15 minutes from Cormeilles charming Norman town. So we had a great weekend with friends and we recommend this place for that kind of weekend.

De plus, le four n'était pas utilisable en l'état, car pas propre et la plaque de cuisson très capricieuse. Par ailleurs, la télévision ne fonctionnait pas (dommage pour les garçons, fan de match de rugby) et pas du tout de wifi (très utile par temps pluvieux). Mis à part ces points, nous avons pu joindre rapidement la propriétaire très réactive (qui a organisé et géré de manière efficace la livraison de bois pour notre feu de cheminée). Très agréable maison avec beaucoup de charme. Spacieuse et confortable elle est idéale pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Dans un tout petit village mais pas trop loin de villes plus commerçantes et de divers villes ou village de charme. Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer Sandrine mais la communication et les informations très claires étaient parfaites. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Will has been very nice and the place was pretty clean and properly heated. 2 thinks were disappointing: Wifi wasn't working and the worst one is the lack of blind in the master bedroom, so you've to create you own blind with towel...but it should be fixed as per Will (URL HIDDEN) not acceptable and very hard to have good rest in this condition...

A lovely house and garden minutes from the motorway, but so quiet you'd never know it. We had a wonderful stay in Catherine's cute house in Normandy. It is in a very small town, but It is fairly central and there are a lot of places to see in the area. You would need a car to stay here. We drove to local cider distilleries and beautiful villages and towns, also Honfleur, Etretat, Lyon a la Floret, Rouen and Monet's Garden (the last 3 were a longer drive away). The beds were very comfortable. Sheets/towels are available for an additional fee per person. We appreciated the many maps and tourist brochures provided, the kitchen with a huge variety of cooking utensils/pans etc, and outdoor table and chairs so we could relax in the sun.

The house is a good balance between rustic and modern and in a quiet rural setting. The host was very keen to ensure our comfort after an unforeseen delay with the ferry crossing and continued the attentions throuought the week. It is a shame our French isn't good enought to express our gratitude .

The cottage was very nice and exactly like the pictures. A nice environment and lots to do within reasonable distance by car. The place was very nice to rest and to play badminton in the garden. The swings were also appreciated by our children. We also enjoyed the space of the house, since we were with our family of four, it was spacious. Wifi was also fast enough, which may be important nowadays!

Great traditional cottage in the French countryside. Very quiet place with a wonderful well kept yard.

We a fantastic weekend. We wanted a quiet place in the French countryside, and got it. Definitely needs a car and GPS, but many things around within easy reach, Honfleur and Deauville were our favourites. The hosts even gave us a bottle of delicious locally made cider as a welcome present. We had a magical time in this spacious home.

We had a lovely two week stay in Catherine's cottage. Catherine responded very quick to our reservation and further questions. It is a lovely house with all appliances at hand, including baby bed. For small children it is ideal because they can not leave the premises. The garden and cottage look even better in reality as they do in the pictures here. Highly recommended for people that want to enjoy the calm Normandy landscape.

We enjoyed this lovely topical Normandy cottage! There is a nice big garden around the house and a Big fireplace! Its a very quit surrounding. The inside is a little dated but fine! if we will be in the neighbourhood again we would probeply go to this house again. We had a very positive experience in Normandy, drove along the entire coast and visited the invasion beaches.
