If you want to stay in Venice, but out of the bustle of the main islands, then Giudecca is a good choice. Easy commute on the local vaporetto. Manuela's place is very convenient, and had everything we could need for our stay.

Our stay was just wonderful and exceptional and I admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment which perfectly matched our expectations. The apartment is very cosy, clean and convenient, the location and place are nice, near the center of Venice (approx 15minutes by the vaporeto) with shops and restaurants within 400m. Manuela's place is located in Giudecca, a smaller island below Venice island. If arriving by train like we did, there are a couple of public boats you can take from St. Lucia station, and they can take up to half an hour to get to Giudecca depending on the time of day. I recommend buying a multiple day-pass for the boats around Venice if that's how you plan on traveling. Manuela's colleague Valeria actually met us at the station and helped us buy the passes as well as came with us on the boat to show us how to get to the apartment. Giudecca was a very quiet neighborhood, mostly residential, but there is a grocery store and multiple restaurants. Manuela's apartment is located closely to the boat station (Redentore) as well as the bridge that leads to more restaurants. It is a 10-15 boat ride to San Marco. The apartment was very clean and very luxurious! We had everything we needed. Thank you Manuela!

I had an excellent stay in the 'Gold' apartment on the 2nd floor, one of the three almost identical apartments Manuela offered. It was brand new, very neat, clean and fulfilled all my needs. The location on Giudecca is perfect and just 10 min. away from San Marco by vaporetto (boat). The Redentore church, designed by Palladio is just around the corner. From this island you have a nice and quiet view on the touristic mayhem across the water. It's still peaceful on Giudecca while you still can find enough nice restaurants, bars and the convenience of a few shops (such as a supermarket) right around the corner. I used the apartment as base to visit the biennale which is 20 min. away by boat. Manuela was a very nice and helpful host to me. She took me from the airport to the Piazzale le Roma and from there Valeria guided me to the appartment. There was some bread, toast, juice, jams and Nutella available for breakfast and even a few cold beers in the fridge. I felt really welcome and would definitely choose for this site again a next time if the price remains the same.

The flat is great for couples; the location is perfect if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy center, yet still have nice restaurants on your doorstep and short boat journey to San Marco. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Venice - thanks Manuela and Chiara!

There is not much else to do on the island, but the station for the fare is near and the fare runs in the night as well.

He is a wonderful host and was kind enough to meet us and show us how to get to the apartment and give us great recommendations for our short trip to Venice. We had an excellent stay. The apartment is located in Giudecca, a more residential area but very conveniently located just a few waterbus stops from main island of Venice (one 3 minute ride to the island and 10min max to San Marco square). We actually liked a lot the fact we were in a less tourist crowded area, had the real feeling of what it must be to live in Venice. All amenities very close inc a good supermarket and pizza restaurant just in front, which helped organize breakfast and a few meals in the apartment when we wanted. The host Ornella and her daughter Alessia met us at the Palanca waterbus stop to show us where the apartment was, just 5 min walk from the stop. They were very attentive and helpful, even made some suggestions of things to do, restaurants, etc. The apartment itself is completely new and tastefully decorated, and had all the equipment needed including a Coffee machine and some complimentary basic groceries (sugar, butter, milk etc). Have to say the place is even better than what the pictures show! Also a word to mention the kind gesture of leaving some flowers in a vase with a happy birthday card for my wife, so nice! :-) all in all, highly recommend this place if you want to stay in a more modern flat and don't need or want to stay right in the middle of the narrow streets and canals. The view from Giudecca to Venice and the waterfront walkway are also worth it...

We had a perfect stay. Ornelles daughter Alessia picked us up at the Vaporetto and taken to the apartment. Everything was as described: new, spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, in 5 minutes you're at the pier and after another 10 minutes to St. Marks Square. In Giudecca there everything you need: supermarket and good restaurants.

What a neat place to explore Venice

From the first moment of booking, to arrival and general care during our visit, Alessia(Ornella's daughter) as well as Ornella helped to make our trip very comfortable. If you are anxious about booking on AirBnB due to concerns that the landlord may not be very communicative, then I can assure you that Alessia went out of her way to help with our arrival (meeting us at the water taxi stop) and then giving us very useful advice as to where to visit, how much to expect to spend etc. The location of the house is more residential which is what we were after given that we have young children. The apartment is on the second floor but has a lift getting up to the level which we found useful with all our luggage! We had an emergency (of our own making) and Ornella came to the house in 5 minutes to provide assistance and advice as well which was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to other AirBnB guests. If we are going to go back to Venice ( I hope so as we loved the scenic surroundings and the ambience) then we would definitely come back here (as long as it is available as I'm aware she is very busy). A truly wonderful apartment in Venice. Very quiet and relaxed away from the crowds but within reach of all the main sights in just minutes. Extremely easy arrival and departure from the airport or train station, supermarket just 5 mins walk away and a superb setting for a relaxed break. The host was fantastic, perfect communication throughout and all the little extras in the apartment like yoghurt, bread, milk, fruit juice, candies etc were such a lovely touch. Overall so happy with everything and thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone is gong to stay in Venice.

Gabriellas flat is simply fantastic!! She is a perfect and very caring host. The location is very peaceful. All kinds of shopping facilities are easily available and the vaporetto stop is near. So this is really a place to be... and feel comforetable and relaxed in Venice.

Gabriella is an amazing host who was accommodating to our early arrival. The flat is modern, clean and perfect for a stay in Venice. We used the kitchen to cook our New Year's Eve dinner and it was well equipped to create a delicious Frutti di mare sourced locally from the fishmongers and a great supermarket 2 minutes around the corner. Location was stunning to look upon Venice and very close to St Marks square via the water taxis (3 stops). We will definitely be returning!

You can't go wrong with staying in Gabriella's lovely flat. It is incredibly clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped for short or longer stays. Giudecca is the best place to stay, in my opinion, to have a realistic experience of living in Venice. There are great bars, restaurants and a shop just minutes away from the flat. Nice cozy apartment well equipped well located calm

My partner and I had a few nights in Venice and were able to book Gabriella's pretty apartment on Giudecca. Giudecca is Venice's biggest island and, as it is located across a bigger channel (rather than one of the smaller canals) it is quieter, more friendly, less touristy than Venice itself. If you love Venice, but don't like crowds, you might want to check out Giudecca. I love it. My partner and I appreciated Gabriella's pretty, and beautifully clean flat. It had everything we needed, and lots of little details made our stay more comfortable. I loved being in a small house in a courtyard. It felt very much like we were in a Venetian village. Neighbours sat outside talking and drying their laundry as their children played together. Just beautiful. The apartment is also 2 minutes from the Palanca vaporetto, so very easy to get to and from the bus station and/or the train station, also San Marco and all the other highlights. There are also quite a few excellent restaurants within 2-4 minutes of Gabriella's flat. In short, a great place to stay and we would not hesitate to choose it again!

We loved staying here. It was a real pleasure - off the tourist track yet close to everything we wanted to see. Very charming place with all the mod-cons. We had an amazing stay at Giuliano's place. The view, the room, the welcoming nature, and especially the lemon candies on the bed he left for us. Just everything was exactly what we were needing for our last night in Venice. He even let us leave our bags for the day before we head out to our train. Highly recommend this place!

It was only two days for work in Venice and unfortunately I could not fully enjoy all the possibilities offered by the place, but the apartment Giuliano was a comfortable space, clean and friendly place to spend two nights. Although we did not meet in person, Giuliano was always reachable on the phone and available to my every question or request. The neighborhood is quiet but full of delightful shops, restaurants and charming cafés. Also convenient to the train and downtown Venice. In short, definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed the nights in Giudecca in Giuliano, this house and charming and canal view is superb. The piers are a few tens of meters and there are a few shops and bars around, it's perfect and the nights are quiet! We will return with pleasure.

Giuliano The room has two windows overlooking the Giudecca canal. A truly wonderful sight! The house is on the island of Giudecca, easily reachable by boat but at the same time far from the tourist crowds. Giuliano is a very kind and friendly host. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandros Place! The apartement is spaciuos, well equiped, super clean, nicely furnished and perfectly located. Giudecca is a magic place and its quietness and beauty is a good contrast to the packed and vibrant central part of venice. It´s just one stop by waterbus to the other side and the waterbusses run on a regular basis and during the night. Alessandro was a very courteous and reliable host. He provided us with great restaurant and bar recommendations and helped us with all the information we needed. We will definitely come back. It was a perfect experience.

We had an amazing time in Venice! Alessandro's place turned our to be way better than what we expected. First of all, his apartment is bigger than it looks on the pictures. It is specious yet cozy, very clean and tastefully decorated. Second, the location couldn't be better!!! It's just across the canal from down town, but the neighborhood is very peaceful and neat, local supermarket is just around the corner, there is also a fish shop, pizzeria and a coffee house close by. Alessandro is a great host and has a wealth of information about Venice that he gladly shared with us! If I ever go back I wouldn't stay anywhere else but at his place! Alessandro came to get me to fremata vaporetto. It was immediately given the basic information of the surroundings (supermarkets / restaurants / transport). The location is very convenient and quiet. The living room has not had a hitch.

The apartment was situated in a quiet neighbourhood near the Palanca vaporetto-stop. There was a COOP-supermarket round the corner and other (food)shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment was large and extremely well-furnished (cooker, oven, washing machine, good! airconditioning, speedy! wifi, fridge, freezer, lots of pots and pans and cooking utensils, an iron and ironing board and so on and so forth. There even were things like coffee, rice, pasta and olive oil that we could freely use. Alessandro was a friendly and helpful host who made very sure we had everything we needed. He came to meet us at the vaporetto-stop, and gave us a tour of the apartment. He gave us lots of advice on things to see, places to go, on restaurants and shops. During our stay we could easily get in touch with him if there was anything we needed to know. A quiet, spacious, well furnished, well stocked apartment. The perfect landlord. Hardly any tourists in sight. A flat in a residential area where you live amongst Italian families. We enjoyed our stay and were touched by Alessandro's kindness and hospitality.

Our stay was lovely. We were greeted and escorted as soon as we got off the boat. The apartment is in a great secluded location surrounded by gardens. We had to pay each day for a boat to take us to the main island but we enjoyed it. The apartment was clean except for black mold growing above the shower in the bathroom, and my feet would get dirty if I tried to walk barefoot around the apartment. The kitchen was very convenient and we cooked some meals during our stay. Very nice!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Nuvole over our 4 days in Venice! The apartment is hidden by a beautiful courtyard and garden, accessed by a private bridge. On a smaller island of Venice it is away from the many tourists but also only one boat stop (5 mins) from the major attractions with boats running all night. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed from toiletries, to tea and coffee, and all the kitchen utensils for preparing our own meals. There are a few nice restaurants and a grocery store just minutes walking from the apartment. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Venice!

Francesca has met at 22.30 clock at the ferry and headed to the apartment, then presented to the apartment and we still offered to our demand on restaurant tips because we wanted to have a snack. You and your sister were very friendly and helpful, for example, we had left a day at the keys in the apartment, an hour later Francesca came over and brought us a spare key. The apartment was clean and functional, primarily with IKEA furniture and IKEA standard on Holiday - Level. Two of us had good space, the 2nd bedroom we did not use the kitchen was nice, the IKEA - Dining table something very simple, here would be a small investment significantly improve the living quality. But, the table has fulfilled its function. Overall, we felt comfortable, the location is great!

Met by serena as we arrived , she was very nice and showed us around , gave us a bottle of water. The room was as described and very nice , nice balcony , a/c etc .it Is a great area . Worth buying the Venezia card for transport . The island is lovely. Certainly recomend if you want a room without cooking facilities .

My friend and I had a really nice stay at Gianluca's. The pictures are very accurate: the studio was nice and clean. Location wise there are often boats to take you to the main islands so it was easy. There are also a few restaurants nearby as well as the bar of the Generator hostel so it's possible to also spend the evening there. Gianluca always replied very quickly and was kind enough to answer all our concerns!

It was nice cozy apartment with fantastic view. Host family was nice, too. ;)

We had a lovely time in Gianluca's apartment. It was very easy to find arriving at the Redentore watertaxi. The apartment is in a cute ally and has a lovely balcony, with a view on the wider lagune. You even get a peak of the famous bell tower at San Marco square. The apartment is brand new, spotless. It's basic but everything essential is there. The bed is good, the shower is hot and the area is quiet. Can definitely recommend this. We arrived by private water taxi from the airport around 0:30 AM.

Gianluca was very prompt and accurate with all information regarding the residence. Check in was easy. Redentore is a nice and quiet location compared to the main Island of Venice. We were glad to return here after spending the day amongst the crowds in Venice. Just a short Aperreto ride home. Basic supermarket nearby, and many dining options. Apartment is basic but all we needed. Very clean and nice location with little balcony.

The apartment was a perfect base for our holiday in Venice. It was a peaceful retreat from the mayhem that is Venice's busy sights. The island of Giudecca has quiet treasures of its own but it is really easy to get to all the sights, including the other islands like Murano and Burano, via frequent vaporetta (water bus) services. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the king size bed with feather quilt very comfortable. Giorgio made the booking quickly and responded within seconds to any questions. Nicola met us at the vaporetto stop and showed us round. I would highly recommend this apartment to any couple or small family. There are some cosy, friendly and good value cafe bars very close by as well as a well stocked deli supermarket, baker etc so staying here had all necessities on the doorstep. The apartment was well appointed and equipped. The wifi was reliable but there was no TV and sometimes the cooker was hard to light. But overall an excellent location and venue. We had a great stay.

The apartment is lovely, and if anything feels bigger than it seemed in the photos. The kitchen is well equipped, the the bed comfortable, and the north facing windows mean it never gets too hot. Being on Giudecca rather than the main Venetian island was great too - it's calm and quiet, and full of charm.

Great, clean and quiet apartment away from the crowds in Venice, on the Giudeca island, short walk from the Palanca vaporetto station. From there it only takes one minute to get to Zattere on the other side of Giudeca canal, or around 10-12 minutes to get to San Marco square. It was also very easy to get to any other destinations including surrounding islands like Burano, Murano or Lido with the vaporetto. It also worth mentioning that the night vaporetto runs to and from Palanca all night long. Right under the kitchen and bedroom windows there is a quiet canal and a nice small square. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The dishwasher was a great surprise. The bedroom has a big double bed and Nicola even let us a new mosquito repellent which was great since the place is very quiet at night and we could sleep with the windows wide open. There are two supermarkets nearby, and one of them just around the corner. There are also some good restaurants and cafe bars very close by. The rooftop terrace was another great thing. Just sitting there at nights before going to bed and watch the glowing Venice is an experience to remember. Excellent location, would highly recommend.

Giorgio's apartment was in a fantastic location (Giudecca) - quiet, village-like atmosphere with very few people around, even in the middle of August - but very easy to travel around Venice and the outlying islands by vaporetto. We would strongly recommend the apartment because of location, value, space and convenience. There was an excellent supermarket just round the corner and and excellent restaurants nearby.

Me and my partner stayed at Giorgio's apartment after returning to Venice from our cruise. Both he and Nicola were very welcoming and accommodating to allow us to leave our bags early after disembarking for the boat. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location for us to get about. The area is in a quiet location however only a quick boat journey over to St Marks. Handy shop nearby and we enjoyed many of the local restaurants. Would recommend a stay here.

We stayed in Giorgio's apartment for the first part of our honeymoon trip to Italy. Every minute spent at the home was a true joy! The apartment is very spacious and includes all amenities. We were able to make dinner on our very first night and everything we needed was always on hand. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous and steps away from transportation and the main street. The location itself is very quiet and romantic, right above a canal. Would love to stay here again and definitely recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, clean and modern apartment in a quieter area of Venice. Still only a short vaporetto stop to all the main attractions. There are plenty of shops and restaurants near by too. Giorgio and his assistant Enrica are very helpful and easy to deal with. We had a great stay and would return.

The house is well equiped practically infront of palanca station of Vaporetto so is quite easy to move, have a great views over Venice is also well equipped, the "unique" there's no internet available and there's no so much pressure on the shower. Despite this the apartment is Excelent and I'll repeat I love it Guidecca because there are more local people and no so massive turist ;-)

Our staying at Stefanias Place made our trip even more Perfect than we imagined. The apartment is big and well equipped. You have an Amazing view to the "Canale della Giudecca" from the living room´s window ❤. The apartment is perfectly situated. You need less than a minute to get to the "Palanca" Vaporetto-Station. From there you go 3 stops to "San Marco". You need 20 Minutes from the Santa Lucia main Railway Station to the "Palanca" stop. You have many good restaurants very near to the apartment and also a supermarket. The place is quiet and very confortable. You also have a big kitchen if you want to cook. We were very lucky that we found Stefania! I totally recommend it!! ❤

We had a lovely few days here - and the view from the top windows across the water is wonderful. The apartment was clean and spacious and we loved waking up to the sound of the boats in the morning! Stefania was very welcoming, although we would have liked a few more details about the local area. Despite some rather noisy neighbours late at night, we would come back!

The flat is in a less busy and less touristy area of Venice - which is very nice if you want to see more of the "real life" of the city. The neighborhood is lively by day and quiet at night, a bakery, shops and restaurants are nearby. The ferry-stop is right in front of the house and offers good connection to all parts of town. Only at night there are few ferries so getting to and fro can get tricky. The flat was very spacious and clean and the living room offers a stunning view over the big canal and the heart of the city. Stefania was welcoming and gave us advices on what to do in Venice. All in all a good choice!

El apartamento Stefania es amplio, decorado con buen gusto, tranquilo, muy funcional y bien situado: al lado de una parada del vaporetto y una pizzería excelente y tiene una hermosa vista. Plaza de San Marcos está a menos de 10 minutos en vaporetto y vemos la basílica de la ventana! ¡Estupendo!

The apartment is in an extremely quiet area of Giudecca, 3 miniti from the vaporetto stop planks and 5 miniti it is in Piazza San Marco. Strategic position. One minute from the house there is also a supermarket. The house is very cozy, practically new, pulitissina and with everything you need (sheets, towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, shaving cream, slippers da.casa and in the kitchen all you need). We for 2 nights have not even been shopping for breakfast because everything was there for 4: milk, water, juice, toast, cerelai, biscuits, coffee, jams, mutella, yogurt). In short, everything perfect and as icing on the cake Alessia owner is an extreme availability and kindness. He gave us lots of tips ... thanks Alessia! So even I'd give it a 5-star sup. Residing at giudecca is an alternative choice thanks to which it is 5 miniti from san marco but still in an environment with very characteristic and unique atmosphere.

One of the best airbnb experience ever. The hostess was extremely friendly. She showed us everything we need to know about the place, and helped us carry our luggages. We are very thankful for that. The location of the place is quite convenient, only a few stops from San Marco Plaza. The place was very clean and spacious.

Just as everyone else has said, Alessia was a wonderful host. The apartment is very well kept with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed. Alessia had been extremely thoughtful and provided water, milk, coffee, tea, and a number of breakfast/snack things so that we did not have to shop for anything during our brief stay. The bathroom was well stocked with soaps, shampoo, etc. She had thought of just about everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There is a dishwasher as well as a washing machine in the apartment. Alessia met us at the water taxi and accompanied us to the apartment. She had detailed instructions/advice about how to get around, nearby places, restaurants, etc. One minor gripe: the apartment is on the 3rd floor and has no elevator (as is the case in most European cities) and so we had to lug our suitcases up and down. All in all, this was a very pleasant and comfortable stay for us. Thank you Alessia.

Alessia's apartment was just lovely. It was immaculately presented and looked just as good it did in the pictures. Alessia welcomed us at the Giudecca waterbus stop and walked us to the apartment, filling us in on local shops and restaurants which meant we found our feet in Giudecca instantly. Most helpful. We were given a thorough tour of the home and had all the relevant things explained to us, cooker, washing machine, etc., even the 'Moka' coffee maker, yum! Alessia then asked what we are interested in seeing/doing and gave us a quick rundown of things we could do based on this. We could not have hoped for a better host, grazie Alessia!

It was pleasantly good surprise to stay at Alessia's place. We were traveling with two children and this was our third Airbnb stay in Italy. Alessia was very responsive to emails and questions before we even get there. Everything was great when we arrived; clean house and quite neighborhood, helpful and happy host. It is close to main canal, main attractions and good restaurants and bars. We had two day vaporetto (boat bus) passes - any time hop on and hop off. Upon arrival, Alessia was waiting us at the bus stop and led to the house that was just a few min walk. I would definitely stay again if revisit Venice! Thanks Alessia.

Beautiful apartment. Wonderful host. We loved Venice as always but this visit was so much nicer than usual thanks to Alessia and her apartment. It was immaculately clean, stocked with food and bottles of water and milk, just fabulous. Alessia personally met us at the water taxi stop, guided us to the apartment and welcomed us personally. A thoughtful touch of charm and class. The apartment is in a very quiet residential area of Venice which is very close to the action but quiet. That is a godsend if you have ever been to Venice. This is a neighborhood of local Venetians, not a tourist neighborhood. This means you can sleep well, its safe, friendly, and yet you can get to EVERYTHING in Venice in minutes on Waterbus or Foot. I can't say enough good things about this apartment and host. Highly recommended.

Great location - 50m walk from Palanca station, which means short ride by bus to San Marco. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and clean. Next to the apartment there is a great Italian restaurant with a great Pizza, and reasonable prices as well as super market and other shops.

Appartamento pulito e ben arredato. Funzionale anche per 5/6 persone. Facilmente raggiungibile anche se sull'isola della Giudecca con i mezzi pubblici. Tutto positivo.

The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the photos. It was very modern and clean and very spacious for our group of 4 adults. Alvise and Adriana were great hosts and met us at the vaparetto stop to show us to the apartment which is only a minute from La Palanca. They gave us advice and good recommendations locally and Adriana was easy to contact and very helpful. The Guidecca is a lovely location to stay in and we really enjoyed being in a quiet area away from the busy tourist areas, very well served by the public transport and with nice cafes, bars and restaurants close by. The view across in the morning was lovely and we enjoyed getting to know this more residential neighbourhood. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Venice.

This is the perfect place to stay in Venice. Beautiful apartment in a quiet neighborhood with few people this time of year, and with a short walk to the water transport, a nice butcher, an excellent fish monger, and an OK grocery store. The kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment is has lots of light, many nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Windows along two walls, that even slides open, with a view to playground/park makes this a very nice place to be! Highly recommended. We would definitely like to come back.

The sunny loft is a beautiful, modern, very clean and very comfortable apartment. Emphasis on clean, which is so important when you're traveling. The location is fantastic. It was my first time to Venice and Giudecca is a wonderful home base to explore the city. It takes only a short boat ride across to all the sights, and then you get to come home and enjoy the simple, quiet of Giudecca. Good restaurants there, too. Jyoti and Italo have outfitted the apartment with everything a guest needs to be comfortable. The bedding is top quality and everything in the apartment has been thoughtfully prepared for comfort. They are in touch promptly each time I emailed or called, and made it easy to arrive and leave. They even left us chocolates, cookies and other things to make our stay special. It was such a pleasure to come home after a busy day of touring the city. I'm looking forward to staying in their beautiful apartment again.

Jyoti's been very helpful and sending loads of information on how to get around in Venice days before our arrival. We met with Italo when we got to Giudecca. He also was super helpful and friendly. The flat is really nice and very spacious.

Our stay at Jyoti's apartment was perfect. We loved the neighborhood, it is beautiful and very quiet but still only 10mins from the center. The apartment was very clean, bright and comfortable and Jyoti left us shower facilities, food and even towels and toys for our baby! Many nice details. We also felt she was there for us if we needed her. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all our friends. Thanks for everything!

We both recommend this spacious, new and clean apartment in Venice. The location is especially good when you prefer to take a rest in between activities or would like to wind down in the evenings in a local neighbourhood. A vaporetto ( Venice's public transport by boat) quickly takes you everywhere; and a supermarket is around the corner. The host is friendly and communications with him were pleasant both before and during our stay.

Jyoti and Italo were very thorough and met the needs of our family of 4 quite nicely! The loft was spacious, very lovely, and had everything we could think of and more! Even a lint roller;) The loft was very easy to get to the center of the city and very quiet at night. The neighborhood felt very safe and we liked it a lot. We both had a very warm welcome to Venice by our great hosts. The apartment was very clean and Joyti had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We were so comfortable that we felt like we were at home. The location of the apartment is perfect if you prefer to be away from the more tourist orientated areas of Venice which can be very busy. There are a number of lovely river side restaurants and a good well stocked shop to buy your provisions. We stayed for the Biennale and it was a good location to get to the main island and with the added pleasure of a vaparetto trip in the morning was great way to start the day. The neighborhood and the apartment was exactly as described. Very convenient to the public boats to take to San Marco. We didn't meet Andrea but had two nice people meet us and take us to the apartment and explain everything.

Accustomed Venice, we chose this apartment for its location outside the usual tourist routes. A perfect quiet location facing the lagoon aui moves very little on this southern bank of the Giudecca. A 6mn on foot steamboat that the affluent whole city. Recent apartment, very clean, simple and effective. An attentive and available if needed breakfast. Perfect stay, absolutely no reproach.

This apartment is soooo amazing. We spent every evening sitting on the balcony, watching the sea and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Further it is super clean, everything you need you find in the kitchen and the bed is so comfortable that it's really hard to get up. With the Vaporetto you need like 15 min to San Marco and the Giudecca is really great for going out. The prices are fair and the restaurants great. Next time we go to Venice we would absolutely stay at Andrea's again!

Highly recommended and very comfortable accommodation for my wife and I. Apartment is well located around a 5 minute walk from the Vaporetto stop. If time permits a visit to Murano and Burano is a must.

This apartment is just beautiful. Located on the quiet and quaint Giudecca, it's a place you can come home to and relax after all the craziness of Venice. Andrea's sister, Enrica, met us at the water bus station and walked us to the apartment. What a relief to not have to navigate our way around on our first trip to Venice! The apartment was so clean and neat with beautiful views of the bay. It had every amenity we needed and the Co-op market is just a few minutes walk away. Don't miss out on some of the wonderful ristorantes located on Giudecca - you don't always have to hop on a water bus and head to the big island when you have some of the most amazing food right around the corner.

My wife and I were in Venice for our honeymoon. Not only was Andrea an amazing host but the listing was better than expected. No matter what window you opened, there was a fantastic view. The area around it was very quiet and peaceful but not far at all from excellent food and drink. Andrea answered all of our questions during our stay and gave us multiple suggestions on the best places to eat and walk. I would recommend, if you are looking for a place in Venice to stay, it doesn't get better than this!

Bell apartment in a central location. Clean and comfortable.

Mattia's house was a perfect fit for what we were looking for. It is located on a separate island, away from the major tourist areas. This means it is great for people looking for a quieter place to go back to at the end of the day. It a 3 minute walk to the vaporetto stop which makes transportation very easy for people that want to spend time in the city. The house was comfortable and Mattia made our stay very easy. A superb apartment with amazing views. It's in a modern building in a new part of Venice and looks excatly liked showed on the photos. The apartment is light, well equipped, clean and offers everything you need for a perfect stay in Venice, including food for breakfast on our first day. There is everything you need from very good restaurants, many with stunning views of the Guidecca Canal, shops and supermarket 3mins walk away. It was in a perfect location - only 3 Vaporetto (water bus) stops to the center of Venice. We arrived early and Silvia our host met us at the water bus stop earlier which was appreciated.

This place is wonderful if you want to check in somewhere and be completely left alone after that. We loved how it was just our place for the time we were there and it was certainly beautiful. Everything was clean and a wonderful view. Read up on the Actv watertransports or vaperettos before hand because you will be using them of you wish to get over to the main island. We had a waiter say 1 spot is free which can get you from island to island without a pass, but not sure if we could take his word. Otherwise we cannot say anything bad about it. A place for laundry was a blessing as well. Just do some research like I said and you will be fine. Plus much cheaper than hotels nearby!

Antonella's house is very spacious and cosy. Her husband Danielle was waiting for us at the Water station to receive us and take us to the place. It was not difficult to locate the place as the directions provided were perfect by Antonella. All the amenities are available at the place like cooking gas, utensils, etc. Very comfortable stay and would surely love to come back.

We stayed in Casa Mia for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The house was fully furnished, clean and spacious. There is a kitchen, lounge with dining table and bathroom on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the second. And it perfect for 3-5 people. Antonella and her husband were very helpful. They gave us a map and told us about all the places to see. It was a wonderful experience indeed.

Daniel, Antonella's husband welcomed us at the boat stop and led us to the house. He used simple english to explain about foods and attractions even I could understand about. I also met Antonella at the leaving day. She said very friendly and take a photo with my mother. The house is much spacious than I expected. House rule is somewhat strict but these are not much to do and only for house's clean so it's reasonable to follow the rules. I and my parents enjoyed the city pretty well with this place. I would like to come back and feel the city again!
