If you want a quiet place, not far from Messina, with proximity to the beach and away from the chaos of the city, I would sincerely recommend to go to Ciro that will make you discover and appreciate the warmth of the Mediterranean ..

For the first time this summer I wanted to make a different experience, after years spent in the usual accommodation. And I came across, I would say casually, for a number of circumstances, in the opportunity to stay with Ciro. And ... what to say! The words are simple reductive to express how I was fine: lovely, delicious and great attention to detail ... I would never go away! I went from spending $15 USD for a bed in a hostel room in Rome to spending $15 USD for my own room, and bathroom in a house on the beach, in the Messina Straits of Sicily. This would have been enough, but my hosts Elyna and Chiro welcomed me with a big Italian dinner and conversation. I was researching my family history in Sicily and it so happens that Elyna is a professor of history and she and her colleague Pepino (Debbie Webber from KY, if you are reading this, Pepino says Ciao!) set me up with the archives in Messina while Chiro drove me to the far corners of Sicily to get my documents. I have traveled over the entire USA and in ten countries and this has been one of my best stays, except maybe the time I stayed in a marina in Rio Dulce Guatemala owned by a beautiful doctora (Iliana if you are reading this, Dios te bendiga), but that, as they say, is another story

The apartment is lovely, and Gaetano and his incredible woman. The house is super cozy, clean, spacious. and it makes you feel at home. It is near Taormina, close to Messina and Catania near, and two half of Palermo or Cefalú and hours. I had never been in a house with so many details and where I have taken care of the way he hiceron Gaetano and his wife were like family. Thanks Gaetano for opening the doors of your home!

beautiful location close to sea side, if you like to live a holiday of baths and relax. Simple apartment but clean and comfortable, I suggest it for couple & one child only family. Inside there is stairs and it is 2 floor apartment. The people are nice, lovely and always available for any problem.

You cannot beat the location of this apartment --- it is less than a minute from thr sea! It is equipped with the basics, all you need for going to the beach and relaxing. Giulia and her family are extremely accomodating and were easily reachable if needed. They also took me on a mini tour to show me where the restaurants and bars are -- and the best place for granita! I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax!

Pasquale had been most helpful in organising our arrival. The apartment is nice and homely. Located in a quiet area with a few typical italian restaurants and supermarkets close by. The beach is wonderful. In reality the apartment is smaller than it seems on the pictures, but it was great for us with enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids. we can highly recommend staying there!

The house is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. The private outdoor patio invites relaxation and idleness. You have all the amenities to live well every day (electromenager, gas stove, outside barbeccue, bicycles and beach games). It is located 50 meters from the beach and it is very significant. The attentions of Pasquale and his family offers a warm welcome: fresh water and fruit available to us for our arrival, tips and advice on summarized in a detailed and colorful booklet region. Roccalumera is located at an ideal distance from the park of Etna, Taormina and Syracuse and less than 60 km from the airport of Catania. The north coast and the Aeolian Islands are within an hour's drive. In addition, the premises are very welcoming and the city is quiet at this time of year (September 15). The house is exactly as described in the pictures. it is very good for 4-5 people (any extra people it is a bit small. the most touristique town but the location of the house is very close the sea you have in the house all you need to go to the beach. the house was clean and with all needed utilties, pasquale left a small book with all the activities. Pasquale is not in sicily but his parents are nearby and they came immidiately to help in any problem. the small garden is nice, and you have few coffe shop on the beach.

We had a pleasant stay Pasquale Roccalumera. The house is 50m from the beach and it's a pleasure to go in the morning and in the evening after returning from trips. The house is functional and very nice little garden. The house is near activities (restaurants, bar, shops, ...) but is calm and relaxing holiday full of things to see / visit nearby. A big thank you to dad Pasquale who lives nearby and is very kind and always available.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Simone e Valeria sono stati molto disponibili e cordiali Sin dal primo momento. L'appartamento non è grandissimo ma può ospitare 4 persone comodamente, ho trovato tutto il necessario per il mio soggiorno. Camere molto pulite , cucina moderna e funzionale, il bagno ha un piatto doccia abbastanza ampio, inoltre c'è uno stanzino dove è presente un lavabo per i vestiti e un letto a castello per eventuali bimbi. Per quanto riguarda la zona: il mare è a meno di 50 metri, panificio e supermercato vicinissimi come la stazione ferroviaria distante solo 200 metri, lo svincolo autostradale dista meno di 500 metri. Tornerò sicuramente

L appartamento è piccolino ma con tutto quello che serve,si trova vicinissimo al mare e a poco più di 10 minuti in macchina da Taormina!

L appartement de Simone est propre, facile d acces, au rez de chaussée et à 50 m de la plage. C est un peu bruyant car sur une Rue très passante et il n y a donc aucune vue. Simone est sympathique et disponible. Nous avons apprécié l eau fraîche dans le frigo, la climatisation, les serviettes neuves et les produits du petit déjeuné. On recommande Donc Simone sans hésitation.
