Totally dreamy stay. Comfiest bed. Super helpful and friendly hosts. I loved the location, it’s a lovely countryside area 30ish minutes away from downtown, so it’s a little escape from the busyness of the city.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Such a cozy tent even in the winter - the heater warms up the place quickly and it was so nice to curl up in the comfy bed. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Ruthanne was so helpful and always available to make the stay better. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Great place to start our honeymoon! Loved the cozy warm fuzzy sheets, blankets and pillow cases! The bathroom is a walk up stairs in the main house... there are lights at night on the stairs but best to use your phone.. we had tea every night caught Ruthanne has an electric water heater.. there’s a sink and fridge inside which is super nice! Umbrellas provided if it rains and a super cozy jacuzzi. The shower inside the house/bathroom is very nice. Pretty much all you need to glamp. About 40 minute drive to Portland airport. Thanks Ruthanne!

Ruthanne's place is so lovely. I visited recently when it was cold and a little bit rainy, but it was still just as beautiful and calming. I stayed very cozy in the glamping tent which has everything you need, a little kitchen and sink. The bed was the warmest and coziest bed I've ever slept in. It was so nice to hear the rainfall on the tent and to hear the coyotes howl at night. There is a deck on the backside of the tent to sit and have meals overlooking the lake. Both Ruthanne and her husband were so helpful and welcoming. I was able to explore the grounds, walk through the labyrinth, meditate and practice yoga. It was really lovely. The hottub was a nice feature too :) Everywhere you look there are personal loving touches.

This space was very clean and well styled. Had every amenity you needed. Stocked with tons of clean towels, everything you need for feminine products, fully stocked with tons of snacks, had breakfast burritos and breakfast croissants in the freezer, orange juice and water in the fridge, teas and coffee, etc. I mean normally when I Airbnb I have to stop by the store to pick up a few things but this place had it all. Really appreciated that I didn’t have to go anywhere.

Theresa is one of the most generous hosts, with all the breakfast options, snacks, and supplies. And nice design touches and roomy bath. My second trip and will return again when I visit my father!

I feel the need to completely GUSH about how fabulous our stay was! The personal touches are simply outstanding - unheard of. Everything from phone charges (with the block) by the bed to a darling chalkboard welcoming us, to READING GLASSES was such a surprise! The detailed instructions with illustrations on how to work the television & sound bar are PERFECTION for technically challenged guests (guilty!). The studio is shiny clean, just absolutely perfect. Yummy snacks, cold beverages, homemade goodies - it feels like family welcoming you. Theresa is charming and simply delightful. What a wonderful stay we had!!

This is truly one of the finest bnb places you will find from the cleanliness to appointments to comfort to their outstanding hospitality. It's a great place run by wonderful people.

The room is a hidden gem in Forest Grove. With access to surrounding wineries, hiking, and Hillsboro, you are well setup for a lovely stay. The room is spacious with amenities such as cookies, microwave, desk, tv, and lovely comfy touches. It many ways it was like staying at my own home. Marcello was an excellent resource and was always willing to help. Definitely recommend!

We loved Linda Christina’s place. Just what we needed for a weekend trip to visit our son at Pacific! Very clean, nice touches throughout. And a wonderful host, Marcello was so sweet and helpful.

I have stayed in Beth's house several times in the past. She is welcoming and friendly. I really like staying in her house.

After using AirBnb for years, this is only the Second Time I rented a room in a home. Beth was so warm and welcoming, personable, an excellent communicator and so much more. You have your own distinct areas, so it's super comfortable. The Bed. I always talk about the bed because that's super important to me. I've written a couple of other reviews raving about the bed, but This Bed, This Bed was amazing. The other thing is that I felt tucked away and totally comfortable with my bathroom right there. It is a quiet house back just far enough from the street in an excellent location. At the risk of not getting to stay with Beth again because you'll be there, I Most highly recommend her. Sarah

This is a great place to stay. Not far from towns nearby yet has the feel of being in the country. The bed is very comfortable. This is a nice cozy place to call home away from home when traveling. Melodee is a wonderful woman! She always kinds to me even though I can't speak English well. Room and bathroom are completely private, they are very clean and comfortable! (the bed is especially good) Melodee's house is very cute! I enjoyed conversation with her.

Melodee offers a very nice room with a comfy bed, a private bathroom with a wonderful shower, a great cup of coffee in the morning, and use of the kitchen if you like to cook. The location offers easy access to many interesting places nearby. I would go back again in a heartbeat.

This home is super convenient to pacific university and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. Melodee made coffee in the morning and we could use her kitchen to make breakfast as we were away most of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would love to book again when were in Forest Grove.

Melodee provided a very cozy place during my stay and she is very considerate. She also accommodated my check in time. It felt like home to me.

Kent’s place was extremely comfortable with a large amount of room, a private bathroom with a tub and great amenities in the room including coffee, mini fridge and a huge TV with DVDs. Kent and his wife were very welcoming but left me alone to do my own thing. Great place to stay if you find yourself in the little town of Banks

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay with Jan and Daryl. They were extremely considerate and helpful, and are very affable people. The accommodations are, to use Airbnb's phrase, dazzlingly clean. The lower floor of their home one stays in has been renovated so the furnishings are fresh and inviting and includes, in addition to the bedroom, a separate living room space with a cheering gas fireplace, and soft, ambient lighting, HDTV, and a cafe-style table and chairs. The bathroom (a separate room next to the bedroom) has a large, updated walk-in shower; quality towels and other necessaries like a hair dryer are provided. The lower floor also has a utility room with a guest refrigerator (plus modest freezer) and microwave, and guests may use its high-volume washer and dryer. The Keurig machine in the bedroom was well-stocked, and I found the bed and pillows very comfortable. There are also local travel books and brochures available in the bedroom. Care has definitely gone into making the lower floor guest space warm and welcoming! A key is provided for the bedroom space but I never felt the slightest inclination to use it, so *completely comfortable* I felt with Jan and Daryl. I found their lovely home an easy and pleasant drive to Forest Grove's city center (I recommend "Bites" restaurant!) and Pacific University. Highly recommended!

I booked Geoff's place for my parents when they visited for an extended stay. It was so convenient for everyone since we live right in Banks. Here is what my mom had to say about the experience: "My husband and I stayed here 5 nights while visiting family. It’s located in a residential area right between Portland and the Oregon coast. Wine country and beautiful hiking trails are also close. Jeff, the host, is very responsive. His place is clean, comfortable, roomy, private and quiet. We highly recommend."

Great house, easy to find, bed was very comfortable. House was wonderful and Lisa was a great hostess. I had the Master bedroom and a private bath which were really nice for getting in late or leaving early.

The property is wonderfully unique and full of life with animals wandering around. The house is big and full of personality. My room was very clean and welcoming. Mark and Jennifer were very warm hosts and I would stay there again if in the area.

Mark and Jennifer are sweet, wonderful hosts. Their place is peaceful and warm and they were very accomodating to our son, 1.5 years old. The hot tub has a wonderful view of the property and our son loved seeing/hearing the turkeys and goats. We very much enjoyed getting out of the city for a brief visit and recharge closer to nature.

I knew I would the country setting and the animals, and the farmhouse was very comfortable, but the warmth of Mark and Jennifer was a pleasant surprise. Even if I hadn't availed myself to one of their healing services, I would have greatly benefited from their sharing their spiritual knowledge. What gentle loving souls!

A beautiful, holistic farmstead tucked away in a natural setting in the Oregon Coast Range. Conveniently about 45 minutes outside of Portland and another 45 minutes from the coast, Mark & Jennifer's place is the perfect compound to relax, de-stress, and get away from the perils of urban life for a while. I really enjoyed evenings in the hot tub overlooking their farm and the surrounding forest while listening to the wind blow through the trees. Getting to meet and feed many of the animals on the farm was a nice bonus, as was getting to know the host cat, Frank, who was extra friendly. Mark & Jennifer were extrememly accomodating and had some delicious dried fruit (farm fresh!) waiting for me when I got to my room. The room was very welcoming and had all the accomodations one would need. I'm really looking forward to staying with these two again soon.

This place way great. Perfect for a quiet fall getaway. They had dried fruit in my room waiting for me (which was delicious). I was the only guest there this weekend so it was really nice and quiet, however it sounds like in the summer is can get pretty busy between the 3 rooms plus campers, so plan accordingly. The hot tub was great and had a fantastic view of the trees. Location is very convenient to the Buxton disc golf course (across the street) and stub Stewart state park and the banks-vernonia trail are just down the road for hiking or biking.

A fantastic little getaway! The space was unique, cozy, immaculately clean, and Heather and Cole are kind and generous hosts. Loved meeting the animals, eating bread and eggs in the kitchenette, and sitting by the fire pit one evening. It’s right by the Banks-Vernonia rails to trail, which we had hoped to do, but next time (and we’ll try to stay at this place again!)

Wow, this is a gem! Heather was great at communicating with us and Cole was very kind to us at the house. He let us feed their alpaca and llama as well as meet all their lovely animals. He even pumped air in the bikes for us to take on the trail. The suite itself was very spacious and clean. Location’s great with a beautiful trail conveniently down the street. Highly recommend this home!

Nancy & J's home was gorgeous! Between high ceilings, a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, Nancy's hospitality, and intermittent visits from their cute sharpei, their home was the perfect city getaway for my boyfriend and me. Both the bedroom and bathroom were also sparkling clean and had ample accommodations for sleeping, showering, and everything in between. We will look back fondly on our stay, and wish we'd had more time to spend.

A clean, quiet home with a beautiful view of the valley. If only the “heat haze” would lift so we could see the mountains from their living room, that would’ve made the view spectacular. Marie-Helene and Tim's place is amazing. The best. If you are going to Forest grove, this is the place you want to stay. They are such wonderful hosts and the house is everything promised and more. Perfectly located, right in the middle of town. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Always happy to have a chance to stay here when I'm visiting my daughter. It's a convenient walk from main St. And Pacific University. Comfortable bed, your own bathroom and a nice breakfast the next day. They even remembered my dietary restrictions from a year and a half ago.

Although the reviews were already outstanding regarding Marie-Helene's place, it really was even better than I expected! My 8-year-old son and I were in town visiting family and this was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a wonderfully busy, talkative time with our beloved relatives. The place was truly sparkling clean and the gorgeous touches in the Parisian-styled bedroom/private bath were so welcoming. From the most comfortable bed and bedding to the cozy robes and slippers, it was clear Marie-Helene had put the utmost effort into making our stay a pampered one. Tim and Marie-Helene were extremely accommodating with our later than planned arrival time and welcomed us with big smiles and enormous amounts of hospitality. After an amazing night of sleep, we were further cared for with a delicious breakfast of fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, bagels, coffee, and kindly placed Cheerios for my son. Easy and interesting conversation with Tim and Marie-Helene added the perfect touch to our breakfast. I can't wait to go back and continue the conversation! My son said it so sweetly when he whispered to me at breakfast, "Everything just tastes better here - even my Cheerios!" If you are anywhere near Forest Grove, you must stay here and experience this lovely home filled with loving people!

If you're lucky enough, like I was, to find this place available, book it! Stay an extra day, even! I wish I could have. Lovely space. Convenient, clean and comfortable, and Marie-Helene and Tim are delightful! I'd stay again at first opportunity.....and hope for another piece of that delicious apple cake!

What a great stay! Visiting my son at Pacific it is just minutes away. The kitchen was perfect for me to cook him a homemade meal. Sweet carriage house, quiet, historic neighborhood, with everything you need for a getaway vacation. Great restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance and a walking trail half block away. I highly recommend exploring Forest Grove this way!

Wonderful little get away!

This space was very clean and had lots of little extras. Wonderful fresh homemade bread and preserves and the refrigerator had juice, milk, butter and some other extras. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom had plenty of bath towels. We were very pleased with everything and would stay again!

Sherry’s place was a wonderful getaway for a 10 week long stay! She was accommodating with all our needs, went out of her way to make us feel at home, was respectful of our privacy and responded quickly to any questions we had. Everything was clean, organized and well kept. The house was quiet and had plenty of extra towels/pillows/dishes, but cooking wear for a long stay could be a little more diverse. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset that you could see from the bedroom and the lovely garden she has been working hard on. Sherry and her husband even bring us over fresh veggies from her garden! If anything, they could improve on it would be buying a more comfortable couch, but we only noticed this when we were spending too much time being couch potatoes. The wifi was fast and there was quite a wide variety of TV/movies to watch on demand. There are many fun places nearby including downtown Portland, the coast, Deschutes river and wonderful spots to camp nearby. We’re so happy to have stayed in this home and recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable location to stay at.

Sherry's place was amazing the location was perfect the view from the back yard was breath taking. Me an my family loved every moment we was there an our toy poodle coco. Sherry’s place was cozy and each room made very good use of the space. The home has a very comfortable feel to it. There was information about local parks and attractions included in the unit. Sherry was very welcoming and kind, and is currently planting a beautiful garden in the front of the house. Nature lovers and birdwatchers take note: a variety of bird species frequent the area, including quite a few hummingbirds that flitted around Sherry’s lovely garden while we were visiting. Sherry was very thoughtful and provided things suitable for a family with small children, including a mattress cover and extra towels. The unit included things we appreciated, including a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a selection of spices, an assortment of cookware and dishes, ice in the freezer, plenty of seating and more! I highly recommend Sherry’s place to anyone who enjoys the quiet and beauty of a bucolic setting, yet a very short drive to metropolitan amenities.

A very clean and homey space. The studio apartment has a full kitchen, stove, full fridge, microwave and amenities. Sherry is a very warm and thoughtful host. She provided us with super soft towels for the people, and towels for the dogs as well. The private backyard was great for the dogs, and the neighborhood was very safe even for late night walks.

This was my first time staying in a camper and i enjoyed the experience ! Kristin was extremely prompt in addressing requests. We were group of 4 and were able to rest and freshen up here. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Our kids also had a lot of fun playing with the cats and dog. It’s close to everything, so location is definitely convenient. We had a great time staying here!

Our stay was brief but very comfortable after a few days of camping and sleeping without pillows. The location is also nice as it’s in a walking distance from Many restaurants (amazing street market on Tuesdays).

Trevors place(s) are really great! The tiny house is cozy and clean and a fun experience. Apartment is beautiful. Cooked all meals there (was sharing with colleague). I think cookware provided a little sparse (most probably go out) but Trevor was accommodating and brought out pot and pan. Loved both of the places and highly recommend! Also got to talk with Trevor and wanted to give him public kudos for making a hard personal choice to protect his community and the elderly. Thanks Trevor for all

He's super responsive and helpful! It's nestled in a quiet culdesac, technically walking distance from downtown Forest Grove and Pacific University. The tiny house is perfect for any kind of getaway with or without a dog. I stayed there for 50 days without any problems. Trevor always responded in a timely manner and fixed whatever issue I had(very few) within an hour. Its perfect for a dog, there is a fenced in backyard and you're at the end of a dead end street so you dont have to worry about your dog running out into traffic. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay in the tiny house. It's like a normal nice house but just smaller. All the same amenities and comfort. And a nice and quiet location at the end of the street. Hosts are very accommodating and can be involved or not, depending on your needs. Definitely will stay again when we go back to Forest Grove.

I loved Meg’s space! It was sooo clean! Neat older home so close to downtown Hillsboro. The space was super private and very comfortable. Communication was quick and very clear. A great stay!

Meg's stay offers a lovely room with thoughtful touches throughout! It is a completely private space with the only exception being a shared bathroom downstairs from the private bedroom. I was visiting for residency interviews and absolutely enjoyed my night there! Meg was even gracious enough to offer me extra time to pack up my things after my interview to check out so that I didn't have to worry about clearing out before my early AM interview the next day. Would definitely stay again if visiting the Hillsboro area!

Meg is the consummate host. Her place is the perfect, quiet, comfortable stay. The upstairs rooms (almost an apartment) are spacious, quiet, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The one minor inconvenience is sharing the downstairs bathroom, which requires coordination with Meg if you are leaving for work in the morning, but Meg is a great sport and very cooperative. She is a great (and fascinating) conversationalist and a lot of fun, and also very respectful of a guest's needs for privacy, rest or work time. Curtis, the Gigadog, is affable, gentle, loves company and has a quirky sense of humor. It would be impossible to recommend this place too highly!

Forest Grove is a beautiful, quiet little place in Oregon and Mike and Debi’s home and hospitality was beyond amazing!

I had such a great stay at Mike and Debi's home. I couldn't have asked for better hosts, and a more comfortable home to live in. As soon as we got in we were greeted by Mike and Debi who gave us a quick breakdown of the upstairs space where my girlfriend and I would be staying. The entire upstairs portion of the house was our area, and it was so homey and comfortable. I really didn't want to leave. In the Morning, Debi had breakfast and coffee waiting for us which included Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries, hot coffee and HOME MADE PUMPKIN DOUGHNUTS. It was all so perfect. I would highly recommend staying with Mike and Debi.

Mike and Debi's place was so wonderful and cozy. The room was lovely and I had everything I needed for my stay. Debi was a great host. I was on a work trip and I had all the privacy I needed and on my last day I had a nice breakfast Debi had put together with homemade pumpkin donuts! If you are looking for a place near Pacific University, this is the best value. You can walk into town, grab the bus right down the street from the house, and there are restaurants just blocks away. I can't recommend Mike and Debi highly enough. I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely superb experience with Aaron and Terri! Would do it again for sure. Great people, personable, friendly, kind. Ready and willing to help however. Flexible and accommodating. Provided breakfast and snacks. Made themselves available to us at any given moment and we definitely felt like a priority. Gorgeous 5th wheel, roomy, comfortable, private, safe, quiet neighborhood, great amenities. I'm 6'3 and I didn't feel cramped at all. Plenty of space. Couldn't have better accommodations or hosts! They definitely aim to please!

I just enjoyed an awesome week stay at Aaron & Terri's place. The location is in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, which for a woman traveling on her own, gave me a sense of security. The hosts were attentive and prompt with any of my questions . The RV was very clean , attractive and comfortable. I did a bit of cooking during my stay and it was nice to have the kitchen well equipped for my needs. I will be requesting this airbnb for my future visits in the area and highly recommend it to others who would enjoy a home like experience. A solid 5 stars rating.

This is a secluded peaceful home that was welcomed to someone used to cities. The sound of the stream was easy to fall asleep to and the surrounding greenery was very soothing. John was very quick to reply to all questions I had about our stay.

The house was centrally locates. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was cook friendly. We had my 2 year old granddaughter visit and the place was kid friendly and with the gate (which they provided) was kid safe.

Mark and Jennifer are exactly what that advertise: thoughtful, loving healers that care for some amazing "critters" that come to their charming oasis of a farm!

Mark and Jennifer are wonderfully compassionate and generous people. They were very friendly and accommodating during our stay, and even shared some homemade butternut squash soup with us! The house could have been slightly cleaner for our preference, but then again, the place is a farm after all! Overall, this place is truly a peaceful country getaway with the friendliest animals to welcome you during your stay.

These were two of the nicest people! They were super interesting and I wish I could have spent more time talking to them. I loved Frank the cat! This is a working farm, as such the outside is muddy. They manage to keep the inside perfectly clean though. Hospitality was A+++.

Jennifer and Mark are very kind-hearted hosts who have a lot to share from their outer and inner worldly adventures, and have created a beautiful, relaxing and healing space in their slice of nature. My wife and I will be coming back!

Mark and Jennifer have a warm and welcoming home, and a fantastic greeter in Frank (one of the kitties). The space is exactly as described: healing. My partner and I spent our evenings in the hot tub, gazing at the stars. In the mornings, we chatted with Mark and Jennifer, who are both absolutely lovely humans, and communing with their animals. I especially enjoyed feeding Cosmos, the llama, and Melody, a cow who shared my name. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here to those who are tired, stressed, hurting or otherwise in need of a nurturing and healing environment.

I had an amazing time at marks place! Him and his wife were very hospitable and overall amazing people. Made sure we had everything we needed and provided local tips. The hot tub was amazing overlooking the farm and we were lucky to have all of the animals greet us when we went to the fence. If you’re an animal lover stay here!! Very good vibes, and even better people. You won’t regret staying here!
