  • Lucy and Russell are very nice host. The place is clean and stylish. Walkable distance to public transport. I would recommend it to my friends if they go to London.

  • Lucy's home became my second home for six weeks! The Davies place is the perfect place to base yourself if you are looking for that boutique hotel room feel at an affordable price. I'd highly recommend it.

  • We had a wonderful stay with Lucy and her family. They could not have been more welcoming. The house is stunning and the room we stayed in was just right for us and our toddler. We had an en suite too which had a great shower. We didn't need to worry about anything during our stay. I'd go as far as saying that Lucy had thought of everything to ensure our stay was smooth and comfortable. Lucy's great children even let Henry play with all their toys! I'd recommend anyone to stay here and would not hesitate to book to stay here again. Sam, Andy and Henry

  • Had a great time at Lucy's home like staying in a 5star hotel. Beautiful house, nicely decorated room, and her hospitality. Beautiful family.

  • Our stay at Lucy and Russell’s lovely house was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had with AirBNB. They were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. The accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable and the addition of having access to a TV room was a welcome bonus as was the plentiful breakfasts. We would definitely consider staying here again.

  • Laura was away during my stay, but all the instructions and contacts made check-in process no problem at all. The room is warm, full of nature light, and just as shown on the photos. The room is equipped with everything we need, which made our stay very comfortable and easy. I was unfortunately ill for couple of days, and Laura gave me instant help and information of doctors and clinic. The neighborhood is safe and convenient, many cafe, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarkets just nearby, and also has easy access to central London. I will definitely recommend my friends staying with Laura if they visit London.

  • What a perfect room! My husband and I stayed with Laura on the last night of our holiday before returning to the States. We loved how, beautiful, light, quiet and self-contained it was. The room provided everything we needed for our one-night stay. Thank you Laura!

  • I was looking for a place to stay in London while I visited the city to prepare for a future travel study student group. What I received was a wonderful flat with bed, kitchen, laundry facilities, and a great view. Thanks Laura for providing this great space just outside of the city. My experience was a very positive one.

    Arthur2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • A nice studio, great for 2 people as there were 3 of us, there wasn't much room to do anything. The place was clean and had all the essentials needed for our stay.

    Pullip2016-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay @Laura's. Nice bed, clean private bathroom, practical kitchen, fresh fruit and breakfast essentials in the fridge. Quiet and Nice garden view. Very friendly and discrete host (the recommended Italian, pardon Sicilian, resto was great food). Heathrow is not far away and planes are taking off early in the morning. Train station is a 15' walk and there are ar least 2 trains/hour to Waterloo Station (takes about 20'). We returned late from a London musical, there are late trains.

    Jan2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful accommodation! Laura is responsive and easy to work with. The room is stocked with breakfast food - fruit, tea, bread, (Nutella!), and has microwave / oven, toaster, and separately, bathroom in-room so you can largely be independent. Laura also has great notes on area directions, attractions, pubs, etc. all in all, an excellent place to stay.

    Elizabeth2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's place was great - so much more than we expected. The provision of fruit, cereal , tea, coffee and other breakfast goods was a really nice touch. The room was light, airy, comfortable and well equipped. The location is ideal - in a quiet road but with easy access to shops, reataurants and transport links. Laura is on hand to deal with enquiries and provides lots of local information

    Amanda2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved this space. It is listed as a private room but it has a bathroom and kitchenette and really felt like our own flat. Laura gave us great recommendations on things to do our last day in England. The bed was comfy, everything was clean and neat and there was tea and a few basics for a little breakfast. Very happy with our stay.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Harlington. The room is lovely, and we had a very comfortable stay. Deep made us feel very welcome and was very helpful and friendly upon arrival. After she showed us around and told us about the area, she left us to it and didn't bother us for the rest of the stay, however she said she was just a phone call away if we need anything. Everything you want from a host. We would definitely stay here again. 9/10.

Hounslow has a large shopping center which adjoins its high street and a large number of restaurants, coffee and small businesses. Hounslow is very well connected by tubes, buses and rail to Central London and Heathrow Airport. 10 minutes walk from home we have an amazing beautiful park.
  • I stayed in the room with 2 beds and there was enough space for my two children who used one bed and my husband and I who used the other bed. We were all happy because there were about 8 regular sized pillows and 2 small ones. We love pillows lol. There was also extra blankets in case we were cold. The room had a microwave, mini fridge, hot water maker, and items to make tea and coffee. Towels and hand towels were provided. I was happy to see all the perfect touches. They had a hair dryer and flat iron which was very thoughtful. I really loved and enjoyed my stay. The house is about 30 minutes from Central London if you decide to use the underground it's zone 4 so buy the correct oyster card. The underground is about a 10 minute walk from the house but there are plenty of buses around the corner that will take you if you aren't up to walking. There are also plenty of inexpensive Desi and Halal places to eat at in the area. Another plus was the Aldi's market directly down the block.

  • Everything was wonderful! K&I have a charming and thoroughly modern flat close to heathrow airport. They had a selection of menus from local restaurants, including those that delivered. And they even had shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer for me to use. Amazing value and prompt responses to all my questions before and after I arrived

    Mathilde2015-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We were welcomed very well. Everything was clean and accurate. Thank you to the Hosts!

    Marta2016-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I had to catch an early flight to LHR and Irene's flat was super close and in a quiet neighborhood. If you exclude the flying planes which were pretty loud. Since our stay was so brief we didn't get a chance to get to know her or the neighborhood very well. Great location near the airport, great hosts, great place. Definitely recommend!

    Jordan2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The room is very nice and the hosts are amazing. Just be sure to follow the instructions Katia gives you to arrive at her home and not the route citymapper gives you because it’s much longer. Katia was very nice and kind to us. She let us drop off our luggage earlier than the check in time and helped us make plans to get to Windsor Castle. We had to take an Uber, but Katia offered to drive us there herself although she didn’t have the car. After that she even tried to get us a better price with her company. Just the sweetest and nicest woman ever! She also gave us a heads up to buy our tickets before we got there and ended up saving us hours. Just a great experience with her and great hospitality. The shower was very nice as well and had hot water that actually remains warm during the entire shower. The room has many amenities that are very great and helpful. The location is very close to the airport as well. We felt very comfortable the entire time we were there as well. Just an overall great stay with Katia. Would recommend to everyone!

    Areli2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this place. The price was right and the hosts were fantastic. A lot of good communication and help getting information to us even before we arrived. We are a family of 4 and the room was a little tight for us, but we were out sight seeing all day every day and being able to come and just crash was perfect. Tea and coffee in the room and some small breakfast items for us in the kitchen made it feel just right. Irene even asked us if we had any special shopping requests and gave us shelves in the fridge and cupboard if we wanted to store our own food. Would stay w/them again. Overall, a great experience.

  • We were very fortunate to find Bowling Green House on Air BnB. it is a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable annex. Super convenient. Hostess Laura O'Grady could not have been more accomodating. after a long flight and arriving at 5.30am at Heathrow, Laura allowed us early accomodation which was much appreciated. There is a great deal of attention to detail and numerous extras that made a difference and made our stay very special. We will definitely make use of Bowling Green House again and will recommend it to our South African friends who often visit their families living in the UK. Laura you are a fabulous hostess and thank you once again.

  • Laura and co were absolutely fantastic hosts. I was late because of a delayed train and that wasn't a problem. They left lovely food and drink in the flat. The flat was gorgeous and the area beautiful. In London, but felt like living in the country side.

  • This was a wonderful place to stay, we all loved the house and the location. Laura is an amazing host, very welcoming, helpful and nice. When we arrived late at night we had some food waiting for us, which was fantastic. I totally recommend this house for everyone who wants to stay in London, in a quite and nice place. • We absolutely loved staying at Bowling Green! Everything was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms most comfortable - loved the big bed, lovely soft sheets. This place is awesome for families with kids. Laura thoughtfully provided toys and books for kids to read. There is outdoors available for kids to wonder about too which is great. I would happily recommend to anyone.

  • Laura & Amoreena were very friendly hosts and we had an amazing holiday. The rooms are beautiful and we felt right at home. Laura was always lovely and helpful, that we cannot say enough thank you for made our stay so comfortable! :) We will come back next year and cannot wait to see you again. Many hugs! Jules&Omid

    Julia2015-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Laura was extremely hospitable. I left my slippers there and she was kind enough to mail them back to me at our second vacation stop. The area is very quiet and safe and there are a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance, it is far from the tourist destinations though. The place is very tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. This was my first time staying in an air bnb plus home, but it was the same as staying at a regular air bnb home I felt, nothing really special. Wasn't fond of the contract upon booking the place, seemed unnecessary and untimely upon arriving after a very long day of traveling. There were some delays with responses, but overall it was a good stay.

    Christa2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely wonderful, amazing hosts who supply everything you need, those little extras are so important, especially when you have little ones! Laura and Paul looked after our family brilliantly and the place is wonderful. A short walk to the university of Roehampton where I was attending a conference, beautiful surroundings for my little girl to play, and the telegraph pub a very short distance away to enjoy a glass of wine in the fabulous countryside of London! Who'd have thought! Heartfelt thanks.

  • Great apartment; exactly as described and is actually much bigger than I expected. Underfloor heating means that the flat is always warm and cosy, so a great winter choice. The location is great. You are literally 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Kingston and all the great shops that has to offer. And directly across the road is Hampton Wick station so your link to London is ideal. Though the building is on quite a busy road, there is absolutely no sense of that from inside where it is very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again. Hannah was the perfect host.

  • Hannah was a great host! She was communicative, easy going and helpful. She made sure we knew how to use all the facilities and gave us a tour of the property when we arrived! Her property is perfect. We had a fantastic stay, you have Kingston 10 minutes by walk where you can fin good restaurants , nightclubs , pubs , and shops ( like bentalls center or John lewis). And you have a bus stop just next to the front door and the train station in front of the house ! We would definitely stay there again!

    Nina2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Hannah was at home to hand over the keys and instructions when we arrived. The pictures were accurate of the apartment and it was clean.

    Leonie2016-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • I can highly recommend staying at With Hannah when visiting London. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. When traveling with kids we can recommend staying at the flat, as it contained everything we needed and Hannah was very helpful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. We will defenitely stay at the flat the next time we visit London.

Light & bright compact studio apartment with private external entrance at the side of property. Parking on driveway. Walking distance to train stations to central London (Ewell East & West). Modern decor. Kitchen, fridge, wardrobe, oven/microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, iron & hairdryer. Ensuite shower & fresh towels. Memory foam mattress & clean bedding. Freeview TV & Wifi. Walking distance to Ewell Village for restaurants, pubs & shops. 15 minute drive to M25, A3, Epsom, Chessington.
The apartment is on the small side however we decided that it was more important to create a space that had everything but was still private. We feel that we provide a better experience by giving the guest their own kitchen (with stove, oven, fridge and sink) and bathroom. The apartments have a private entrance with key which allows guests to come and go as they please and also provides the privacy that many guests require. Most of our guests are international tourists who travel into London via the two stations in walking distance from us. Many guests also use the apartment for work travel. We live on a very quite and peaceful residential road and we guests can park on the road or the driveway.
Our home is located in Epsom, Surrey, England. The area we live is known as Nonsuch Court. It is a leafy quiet secluded area comprising of mainly detached houses. We have found the neighbourhood to be very friendly and welcoming. Ewell Village is 10 minutes away and has some fantastic restaurants, pubs and boutique shops. Sainsbury's, M&S and Tesco's are less than 10 minutes walk away. Epsom town centre is an 8 minute driveway and has all the large major retail stores and wonderful restaurants, bars and night clubs. It is a theme park with over 40 rides for adults and kids and has an extensive Zoo and SEALIFE centre with over 1000 animals, including tigers, lions and sharks!
  • Nice appartment on the smaller side in a nice part of the city. I'd definitely reccomend it to anyone who's thinking to stay near London. Park, some shopps and close to the train station is a good choice even for those without a car.

    Maxim2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a handy location off the M25 and close to work. The area is very upmarket too and the place was very clean and modern, all shiny and new really. The side apartment felt secluded enough and comfortable to stay in and I would recommend it to anyone working in and around London.

    Jason2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful space! Such a great little town to walk around. We really appreciated Mathew’s tips/maps. Very helpful! Very close to the train, which makes travel much easier

  • Matt has been very kind. The appartment is tiny but cozy. Everthing was clean, near and perfect. Even they have a Dolce gusto coffee machine with lots of cápsules to prepare. We have towels, a confortable bed, iron, everything to clean and they left us a basket with pastry, oak, biscuits and all the indications for wi fi and any home machine. Matt was very kind and Ewell is a lovely place! I recommend it highly!!!

This light filled self contained studio apartment will suit a couple or small group of friends or a family with older children.(we can't have little ones due to the proximity of the swimming pool). Get out and about - it's a five minute walk from the train station at Thames Ditton with regular trains to London in 35 mins or 20 minutes to Wimbledon. The historic palace of Hampton Court and the River Thames is a 15 minute walk.
The large light filled studio room contains a comfortable double sized bed and two generous sized sofa beds. There is a flat screen tv, comfy sofa, wi-fi of course and a dining table with chairs. The main studio opens via full height french doors onto the terrace by the pool. There's a separate fully equipped kitchen where you can cook up a storm. A shower room with an extra large walk in shower completes the picture. It's a large space 48 square meters or 516 square feet.
Thames Ditton is the closest official "village" to central London. It comes complete with village shops, several traditional pubs and even a cricket green. The pubs offer great food or if you prefer something as english as pub food, try our local curry house, The Rose - very popular with the locals. We love the Albany Pub for it's uninterrupted views over the river and Hampton Court Palace beyond - a special place to enjoy a drink on the spacious terrace and the food is delicious too. Or perhaps you would enjoy catching a cricket match on the local cricket green. There's nothing more english than the sound of willow on leather! Or a walk by the river Thames along the ancient tow path all the way to Kingston Upon Thames passing Hampton Court Palace, the house boats and Home Park with its acres of open space and wild deer on the way.
  • Fantastic place to stay. Great for visiting Hampton Court.

    Heather2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely spacious studio apartment, with a really nice outlook and a well-equipped kitchen. Very relaxing indeed. Enjoy the local area, including Thames Ditton Village (with its nice array of independent shops, good restaurants and pubs), the River Thames, the Thames Path, Hampton Court Palace, and Kingston. Or venture further by train to eg Wimbledon, Twickenham or (in just 30 minutes) London. Communication with Gillian (and Tim) was excellent. Highly recommended.

    Glenn2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Gillian's place was perfect for our short stay and had everything we needed to make it a home way from home. Communication was easy and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place.

Lovely garden studio flat, self contained with private entrance near Richmond and Twickenham Stadium. Quiet location with shops close by and easy access to public transport.
The flat is newly refurbished to a high standard. Patio doors lead to your own private garden to relax with a glass of wine or cup of tea in summer. Although it is a studio flat, the bedroom is separated by a wall for additional space and privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with the pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. There is a fridge, hob, oven/microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a comfortable sofa and a kitchen counter with two stools to enjoy your meal. The flat has Wifi. We offer a wash and drying service once a week for bookings over a week.
The property is close to beautiful Richmond and Twickenham stadium. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Richmond is well known for it's great shopping high street. There are also many green parks near by.
  • We spent 6 nights at Tanja's little home in Richmond and everything was just as expected, clean, and the same as the pictures online. The wifi worked great. Unfortunately I had a bad cold for most of the stay and we ended up doing more things locally rather than going into Central London. Luckily Richmond is really pretty with better shops than most town centres, and walking along the Thames path is lovely. Tanja was really helpful assisting us quickly with our request to use an iron. The weather was quite warm when we stayed and flat gets quite hot and stuffy when you have been out for several hours, but you can leave the sliding doors open once you are in and it keeps the place much cooler. Overall we had a nice stay, thank you!

    Alice2018-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Tanja’s place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located to local transport and shopping centers. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

  • It was a very nice place!

    Bonita2018-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for our weekend plans in Twickenham. The space is small, but if you are not planning to spend much time there and just need somewhere cosy to lay your head for the night it is ideal. Tanja was really easy to communicate with, prompt with responses and flexible with check-in/out. Would recommend getting wifi though.

    Amy2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location tucked away, so felt very safe and quiet too. Lovely to have an outside space and great to be within walking distance to the river, bars, cafes etc. Very clean property and good use of space.

  • Cosy well thought out space. Has everything you need for cooking and eating meals at home but also lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby. Very Comfortable bed. 15 minute walk to trains and lots of shopping in the area. Great area for walking around and taking in the beautiful sights. Internet worked great. Very friendly and helpful host, we would definitely stay there again and recommend this place highly.

Isleworth is an area rich in history, a quiet neighbourhood that is multicultural yet still peaceful, safe and residential. Hounslow high street is just a 10 minute walk where you will find all your commercial shops and restaurants. The Treaty Centre and Blenheim Shopping malls are along the high street where you will find favourites such as Schuh, River Island and H&M not to mention cafe and restaurants such as Nandos, Starbucks and McDonalds. For history and culture get over to Hampton Court Palace a favourite for Henry VIII. Osterley Park and House is quite nice and you must get over to Kew Gardens which always blows me away as it is actually has the largest and most diverse collection of living plants anywhere in the world!!

  • Everything was as advertised! It was a small, clean flat near several restaurants and little convenience stores. Perfect for a couple always on the go. The nearest bus station is right down the road and the tube station was about a 10 minute walk which brings you right down to the center of London. Dennis was very helpful and responded to every message I sent him. Definitely added to our London experience.

There are plenty of restaurants and a pub that serves food just a 5 minutes walk away where you can get the bus to Morden tube.
The cabin is very cosy and the double bed is comfortable. There is a fridge for keeping your snacks and drinks. There are also tea & coffee making facilities. The shower has a seat which is great for tall people as the shower has an eave.
There are a good choice of restaurants within a 5 minute walk including Chinese, Mexican, Italian and a seafood restaurant. There are also coffee shops and a pub. We always enjoy eating out around here!
  • The room was in a cabin type building at the end of the garden, and all looks recently made/decorated. A side gate with a lock had just been installed prior to my stay to give garden access, although I was only there overnight so didn't need it. The room is very nice, with a double bed, TV, sink area, kettle, mugs, plates and cutlery. The adjoining bathroom is clean and does the job. Kellie was also very friendly, and communication beforehand was good. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

The apartment was well presented and very clean. The bathroom is very good, in particular. The apartment is well located - about a 10 minute walk to the nearest shops, 20 minutes to the nearest station and about 15 minutes to the lovely Bridge Road. We had a great stay.

There are also a wonderful selection of restaurants, cafes, take-aways and bars/pubs to choose from. Distances quoted below are measured from Hampton Court Palace: Hampton Court Palace – King Henry VIII’s lavish royal residence King Henry VIII's lavish royal residence with its staterooms and Tudor kitchens, surrounded by magnificent gardens including an historic indoor tennis court, world’s oldest and celebrated puzzle maze, a record-breaking grape vine, 3 national plant collections, over 8000 trees and 650 acres of historic parkland, home to a huge variety of wildlife, including the descendants of Henry VIII’s deer herd. Home of Sir Christopher Wren/“The Old Court House” – famous English architect (approx 0.1 mile) One of the most highly acclaimed English architects in history. He was accorded responsibility for rebuilding 52 churches in the City of London after the Great Fire in 1666, including his masterpiece, St. Paul's Cathedral and was commissioned to rebuild Hampton Court Palace by King William III and Queen Mary II in 1689. He was also a physicist, astronomer and mathematician. Home of Michael Faraday/“Faraday House” – famous English scientist (approx 0.1 mile) An English scientist who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His main discoveries included the principles underlying electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis. It was largely due to his efforts that electricity became practical for use in technology. He also discovered benzene, invented an early form of the Bunsen burner, the system of oxidation numbers and popularised terminology such as ‘anode’, ‘cathode’, eletrode’ and ‘ion’. Faraday ultimately became the first and foremost Fullerian professor of Chemistry at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, a life time position. Einstein even kept a picture of Faraday on this study wall! Royal Bushy Park – second largest of London’s Royal Parks (approx 0.7 mile) 1,100 acres, this is the second largest of London’s Royal Parks linked to Hampton Court Palace by the Longford River and famed for its mix of waterways, gardens and grasslands plus roaming herds of red and fallow deer. There is also the Diana Fountain and children can have fun in the playground. "Astoria" – Pink Floyd’s recording studios (approx 1 mile) Used as Pink Floyd's recording studios, "Astoria" was built in 1909 at Hampton Riviera Boatyard and is now owned by David Gilmour who used it quite often. He recorded his last solo album there in 2015 with his wife (author and lyricist Polly Samson) called 'Rattle That Lock'. Sadly, one of the songs ('A boat lies waiting') is in tribute to Rick Wright, Floyd's keyboard player and Gilmour's great friend who died of cancer in 2008. Wright loved the sea and boats and was a yachtsman too so the track is all about that and quite poignant considering "Astoria" and the river. Also, the final Floyd album was partially completed there in 2014 with the remaining group all on board (Nick Mason, etc), that one is called 'The Endless River'. Hampton Pool – heated open-air pool/lido available 365 days/year (approx 2 miles) Known as “south-west London’s best kept secret”, an open air-pool/lido with heated water providing outdoor swimming 365 days a year, monitored by a team of professionals providing a safe environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. The main pool is 36 metres long which is split in half at all times to allow for lane swimming on one side and family swimming and fun on the other. There is also a learner pool dedicated to children and their parents. Limited free parking. The town of Kingston-upon-Thames – one of London’s liveliest boroughs (approx 2.5 miles) On the banks of the River Thames and just 12 miles from Central London, Kingston is a vibrant medieval market town and one of the liveliest London boroughs offering a colourful mix of unique shops, themed markets, department stores, street performances and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Kempton Park Racecourse – one of Europe’s busiest racecourses (approx 3.5 miles) One of Europe’s busiest racecourses, holding flat and jumping horse races all year. Parking at the Stables was a great bonus, as was the hot tub at the end of a long day walking around the sights! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home on the river with us, would recommend 100% to anyone wanting a stay near Hampton Court , Legoland etc or just to get away for some peace n quiet. A spacious well presented quad room in a residential area called Stanwell. The house is modern and quiet. It's proximity to Heathrow and excellent transport links make this a great place to stay near Heathrow airport.
The house is perfectly located for access to Heathrow and exploring London. The room is clean modern and spacious and competitively priced. We have tried to make it as cosy as possible and somewhere to unwind after a hard days work or exploration of London. The space has all the essentials such as coffee, tea, sugar. There is a fast (fibre) internet connection.
Stanwell is a quiet suburban London town, it sometimes feels more of a village. We have 3 local pubs, take away restaurants and a small supermarket within 10 minutes walk. A little further (15mins) is a large Tesco supermarket, a fast food restaurant I dare not mention (McDonalds) and a large beef eater bug opposite. A 10 mins bus ride to Staines will take you to a more vibrant town centre with lovely restaurants, a riverside and a cinema.

This is an urban stay with an original twist! You'll be staying in a bespoke cabin (with private entrance) in a landscaped & beautifully lit garden. You'll have a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. This little sanctuary is situated in Kingston upon Thames within walking distance to Richmond park, Kingston shopping centre & the riverside. It's 4 minutes walk to Norbiton train station with regular trains to Waterloo (25 mins journey). Plenty of lovely shops & restaurants on the doorstep.
This space was lovingly designed and carefully built for visiting family and friends. However, we decided following several recommendations to open it up to paying guests, which suits us just fine as we love meeting people. It's situated at the end of our garden, which is approx 180 ft/50 meters long, so you’ll have plenty of privacy & a lovely view of mature trees & a green garden to enjoy. We like to think of it as the ultimate eco retreat. It's brand new (built in summer 2017). The space is nestled under an ancient oak tree, which makes it even cosier and more tranquil. It bathes in afternoon/evening sun. The cabin benefits from its own entrance and the security of CCTV cameras around the main house. The cabin is independent, private, tranquil, flooded with light and warm all year round. You will have coffee and tea making facilities (Nespresso machine & a kettle inc coffee capsules & tea bags), smart TV with Netflix, mini fridge & free wi-fi
We love our neighbourhood. Access to Central London and other popular areas such as Wimbledon, Hampton Court, Kew, Twickenham and Richmond is really easy. It's a safe and friendly local community with independent coffee shops and nice local pubs. We have a parade of shops right on our doorstep which include a wine shop, a Sushi deli and a couple of great restaurants. Richmond Park, the riverside and Kingston centre are all within 15 minutes walk, while Norbiton station is a 4 minute stroll away. The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is one of only four royal boroughs in London. It's located on the banks of the River Thames, which travels through the borough for almost three miles. Kingston town centre has over 500 stores, including smaller retailers and market stalls in the famous Market Place. It has a buzzing arts scene, with two local theatres – the Rose Theatre and the Arthur Cotterell Theatre – as well as comedy nights, galleries and museums. There is a colourful cafe culture, a well-respected university and great nightlife. As well as a 100-year-old golf course, Kingston is also home to AFC Wimbledon, Wimbledon and RFU Twickenham.
  • Yossi was an excellent host and her cabin was a delightful retreat from busy central London! The river Thames nearby is great to grab a drink as the sun sets. If your looking for a relaxing place that can get you into London with a short tube ride look no further!

    Brian2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was a super lovely cabin, brand new, stylish and intimate! Yossi was a very welcoming host and the location is perfect to Kingston or Norbiton!

    Clare2017-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Where to start. Having spent a fair time in Airbnb the past 2 months around Europe and UK I can completely understand how Yossi has achieved superhost status!! Not only was the cabin absolutely Devine with all one needs for a relaxing tranquil getaway, Yossi was always on hand to help with any questions I had. I couldn't think of a better place to end my vacation.

    Megan2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Yossi is very friendly and helpful and the cabin is comfortable and stylish, and such a good price!

    Danny2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, a great space in an urban setting. Finished well, clean and very peaceful. Yossi was a great host and I'd certainly recommend a stay, be it for business or pleasure.

    Nathan2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a gem. Just a short train ride to the heart of central London, yet you feel as though you have your own retreat when you return to the most thoughtfully designed cabin space in Yossi’s backyard. Yossi is most gracious and kind and gave us recs for thing to do in nearby Kingston, including the delicious fish n chips spot on the corner! This was just the most fabulous Airbnb in every way.

    Meredith2018-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is the place I will always recommend to anyone traveling in London. Yossi is wonderfully polite and make sure you feels like you feel at home. Magical view waking up in the morning. Lush, green and full of wildlife scurrying about outside in the garden. Plenty of amenities and a really fantastic shower. I miss it already! The perfect place to stay if you want a little peace and quiet after a day of exploring the greatest city in the world.

    Krissy2018-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Yossi & Steve, we loved the cabin! Although we were both in London for work, we had a great week and escaping to the cabin each evening felt like we were on a little holiday. A perfect hideaway. We’ll be back soon!

  • The communication and instructions to get in were very clear and concise when we booked, BEFORE we came to the place. We had a hard time getting into the place since we came in late (2 am) after a grueling 2 hour immigration line at LHR to find out there was no key in the lock box outside the house. The combination on the lock box was already set on it (security issue), like someone had already been in it and taken the key. Our uber had dropped us off and we had a flight to take in the early morning. We tried contacting the host, calling and texting to no avail which is understandable that late at night. There were a lot of bugs and big spiders all around the outside door of the entry and the lock box which was a turn off. We saw there was another guest's room light in the same house was on, it took 30 mins of yelling/ screaming at the guest's window to wake her up and she tossed her key from the window down to us which we used to get in for a couple of hours of non-sleep before we left early morning. We had gotten this place due to the proximity of Terminal 5 and how we would have to leave early and this was just a lay over. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning, my apologies, I have never left a bad review before.

  • Booked very last minute and the hosts were very accomdating with quick responses. The home is within a 20 min drive of Shepperton Studios which is ideal with lots of shops, takeaways and pubs nearby in a quiet residential location. Home was very clean, which I would expect as there is a cleaning charge, but it showed. Thank you.

With a separate entry this small standalone studio apartment has its own private shower room and simply equipped kitchen; it's located near to Hampton Court Palace, Bushy Park, and the Thames (25/40 mins walk/10 mins bus) and to London by train (35 mins to Waterloo) - our competitive price reflects these distances and our location - pls NOTE our location relative to your needs as we can't move! It is a standard 4' double bed - small. Basic starter DIY breakfast supplied. Free street parking.
This small studio cottage started life as a separate single garage before being converted to provide office space and to accommodate our growing children and frequent visitors. It is a separate studio apartment with its own small kitchen equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge - and all necessary crockery and cutlery. The cottage has its own loo/shower wet room. There is freeview TV and free use of our (usually reliable) wifi. You are welcome to sit on the decking, sunshine not guaranteed! We include basic breakfast supplies of cereal and toast, tea and coffee. If your stay is short we may not supply a fresh loaf of bread unless you REQUEST IT before arrival. We were throwing away a distressing amount of bread so this is an attempt to be less wasteful.
We are within easy reach of Hampton Court Palace and its festivals and gardens and have hosted Needlework Students. It takes 30-40 mins walking. Cyclists and walkers appreciate being near the Thames River tow path, Bushey Park and Olympic cycle routes. There are plenty of good cafes, pubs and restaurants in Molesey and Hampton Court, as well as supermarkets if you prefer to self-cater. Kingston-upon-Thames, an ancient market town, has the excellent Rose Theatre which previews many West End Shows; as well as a wide range of shops. The roads near Hampton Court bridge are filled with antique and curiosity shops where time can be whiled away browsing. We are near Heathrow and Gatwick but NOT handy to them - both need at least a hour's journey depending on the time of day. Please check on apps like rome2rio or citymapper so you are aware of our location and how it suits your needs. It's tough being knocked (and ABB sees 4 as poor!) on 'location' feedback by guests who haven't done their research! We aren't on the doorstep of the Palace or the station but we are priced accordingly.
  • A lovely place, with everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay. The hosts (I met Nicky during my stay) were very helpful and friendly, even going so far as to provide an emergency charger. Would certainly recommend!

    Laura Le-Anne2016-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • lovely to stay again at Nicky and Julian's. It really is very comfortable and quiet. Thank you

    Michael2016-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our 2 night stay at Nicky and Julian’s very clean, comfortable, cosy and private “mini home". I arrived first, before my husband, (who was working) and was greeted with birds singing in the trees in the garden. Julian welcomed me as Nicky was at work and we had a brief chat about their “mini home”. I was amazed how cleverly they had made such good use of a small space. It was lovely to find tea, coffee, milk, cereals, biscuits, butter and even a loaf of our favourite bread along with mini pots of jam etc. They have thought of everything so you really only need to bring your clothes and personal items. It was also great to be able to come and go without feeling we were disturbing anyone at the same time knowing that they were close by if needed. We would happily stay again if in the area and would happily recommend Nicky and Julian’s “private mini home” to others.

    Jenny2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great cosy little cottage that had everything you need for an extended stay. Hosts provided basic supplies, and were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Great location.... shops and bus near by. Approximately a 40 minute walk to Hampton Court Palace, and slightly less to the Hampton Court Station which connects every half hour to London, Waterloo. Excellent value, and I have no hesitation recommending this property. I would very happily stay there again.

    Lynne2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • A very clever little place with everything you are likely to need. Well thought out by Nicky and Julian with extra touches to make this a very comfortable landing pad. As someone who has been staying in all sorts of accommodations for years, this is the primo standard anyone trying to provide a similar service for the price would aspire to .. Enjoy : )

    David2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a quiet spot to spend a few nights Nicky and Julian's flat is the perfect spot! We were even provided with basic breakfast food (cereal, bread, porridge) and tea/coffee which made us feel even more relaxed and at home.

    Mollie2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nicky and Julian were amazing hosts! They had helpful directions, the cottage was walking distance to everything, but felt like you were tucked away in a garden out of the city. It was a short stay, but we will definitely be back.

    Jenna2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect Airbnb example of what everybody is looking for: privacy of a side house, hosts that want you to stay safe and comfortable and also a great assortment of thoughtful details. We loved our stay here, the neighborhood is handsome, the shops around are perfect for get something for dinner, and the train is only 25 minutes away by walk. The only con, is that London city is 45’ by train, but... that wasn’t any surprise ;) We knew were it was in first instance, and the price of this property is precisely good for that. In a nutshell: very recommended! Pro tip: going to Hampton Court castle is a MUST. Impressive visit!

  • Sue was a wonderful host and sues family too! Made us feel welcome all weekend and made the whole experience for us. We went to THORPE Park on the Saturday, sue and her family gave us plenty of tips! The area of the place is amazing and the hot tub was a special touch.

    Jackson2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my partner stayed in Sue's cabin and absolutely adored it! It is a lovely space with everything you need and more, situated on a very charming island.

  • The Cabin was a perfect getaway from the the stresses of life. It was in a perfect location, very clean and had everything you could possibly need and more. The communication and arrangements with Sue were excellent and the overall hospitality was outstanding. We had a great time and throughly enjoyed the hot tub and kayaks. Our weekend was made extra special by the little touches in the The Cabin, such as the fridge being stocked with milk, bread, orange juice, butter etc. Also there was plenty of utensils and cooking equipment which was a bonus. The Cabin was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The place is so quiet so were able to really relax and unwind. I will be recommending The Cabin to friends and family along with planning another visit as we loved it so much! A huge thank you to Sue and Nigel for making our stay so enjoyable and stress free!

  • We had a fabulous stay here! The island itself is stunning and the cabin perfect! Sue and Nigel were lovely hosts allowing us to use the hot tub and their canoes to explore the river! It was perfect and we would love to come back in the future! A great place to base yourself for getting to central London too!

    Heather2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • I can say nothing but good things about The Cabin! The Cabin was both modern and sparkling clean and the perfect size for two of us. Both and her partner were extremely welcoming and accomodating - they really made the experience special. The fact that we were able to use the hot tub was just one of the added touches that made the trip so memorable and special. The area itself was absolutely breathtaking - the views from the weir and Shepperton Lock were beautiful, especially at sunset. We visited both the local pubs - The Thames Court and The Kingfisher which were both in keeping with the beautiful scenery. I cannot praise The Cabin and the hospitality we received enough - thank you for such an amazing holiday Sue! We will definitely be back!

    Katie2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little cabin in a lovely location close to town and plenty to do in the area. We used the hot tub which is well kept and the planes flew directly over-head which was lovely. We also used the Kayaks too which was good fun! Would definitely recommend a stay here - we had a lovely time. Thanks Sue for being a great host x

    Alice2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve had a fantastic few days staying at Sue’s cabin! We loved exploring the island, the area is like no other and the views were amazing especially at sunset. The cabin itself is equipped with everything you could need and is nice and comfortable. The hot tub made the trip extra perfect for us and was nice and relaxing in the chilly evenings. We would definitely recommend staying here, thank you again Sue!

    Krystian2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is the perfect place to relax as well as explore! It has everything you need to relax with a very comfortable bed! Easy access to the island and local pub. Sue helped us explore the island via her kayak which was amazing with fantastic views and using using the hot tub as the evening got colder and darker was the icing on the cake. Sue and Nigel were the perfect hosts and Maisie the dog was welcoming and friendly.

Light & bright compact studio apartment with private external entrance at the side of property. Parking on driveway. Private Patio with sliding door. Walk to train stations to central London (Ewell East & West). Kitchen, fridge, wardrobe, oven/microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, iron & hairdryer. Ensuite shower & fresh towels. Memory foam mattress/clean bedding. Freeview TV & Wifi. Close to Ewell Village for restaurants, pubs & shops.
We back on to Nonsuch Park, it is the last surviving part of the Park of Nonsuch, a deer hunting park established by Henry VIII of England surrounding the former Nonsuch Palace. The park contains Nonsuch Mansion, also known as Nonsuch Park House which serves delightful treats and afternoon teas. Ewell Village is 10 minutes away and has some fantastic restaurants, pubs and boutique shops. Sainsbury's, M&S and Tesco's are less than 10 minutes walk away. Epsom town centre is an 8 minute drive away and has all the large major retail stores and wonderful restaurants, bars and night clubs. Chessington World of Adventures Resort is less than 15 minute drive away. It is a theme park with over 40 rides for adults and kids and has an extensive Zoo and SEALIFE centre with over 1000 animals, including tigers, lions and sharks!
  • Lovely little apartment exactly as described. I used my car so can’t comment on the public transport links. It wouldn’t have suited my husband who is 6ft 3in and rather weighty he’d have found the shower too small but apart from that the space was well equipped with its own kitchenette, fridge, hob and microwave and a very smart coffee machine. A variety of breakfast items was provided and fresh milk was in the fridge along with wine! (I’m not a white wine drinker!) Overall, delightful and I would happily use this again but fir me it was too far from Carshalton where I needed to be early in the morning.

  • A really great place to stay - cosy and well thought out space. Matthew is very accommodating and helpful, and not at all intrusive. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again

  • Lovely place, very clean tidy, everything you need. Cute touches with extra in the fridge and basket. Enjoyed stay very much

    Charly2018-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The room is well equipped and all the amenities that you would want when staying somewhere, the bathroom could be an issue for some but otherwise the location and ease of getting in/out is great.

  • Matt and Sadie are perfect hosts. A friendly warm welcome into their cosy place. Everything you need for a comfortable stay including plenty of food. I will defiantly look to stay here again on my next trip to the area.

  • It was much more than I expected. I truly recommend to check in at Mathew, wonderful host, good location and beautiful sightseeing around the area

    Sabin2018-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect apartment for myself and little boy who were meeting friends nearby. For such a compact space, the design has been thought out really well and it's lovely to be able to look out on to the garden. There are so many thoughtful items in the apartment and a selection of handy provisions in the basket and the fridge! Matthew is a great host who responded immediately to my email queries which made everything nice and easy. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future.

  • Sandra is a wonderful, very accommodating host. Her place is absolutely gorgeous, it feels extremely calm and tranquil. We also felt we had complete privacy in this self-contained loft room with lovely views over their lush garden. I can definitely recommend this room as it is great value, very clean and offers a lovely homely stay.

    Tarih2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was an ideal base for a few days stay in London. Very close to Kew Gardens, and to the tube network. We loved being able to have breakfast on our own little balcony. So many extras provided, breakfast and fruit, plus coffee etc. Very comfortable room, would highly recommend.

    Rachael2017-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sandra and Derek's place is a beautifully appointed studio with everything you might need for your stay in this beautiful area. The Accommodation is even better than the photos depict, and nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts. We chose the larger of the two suites, and could not have been more comfortable. Sandra goes out of her way to provide a lovely room, spacious and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast provisions are generous and delicious, and the property is well situated for rail and bus services. There are some lovely river walks, and the village of Kew has some lovely restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Sandra and Derek are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and very happy to give advice on whatever you may need. We can't recommend them highly enough.

All locations are within easy access to public transport or parking facilities. EXCLUSIVE USE, and available all year round, this perfectly appointed heated moored accommodation offers a taste of ‘off-grid’ living with all the creature comforts and luxuries you would expect to find at home. “Eucala” is a very beautiful and cleverly laid out classic French motor yacht with a really rich heritage. Choose from a variety of very tranquil and picturesque locations on The River Thames. No matter where the boat is moored, there are many historical sites and places of interest to visit plus a wonderful selection of eateries and pubs/bars nearby.
  • A very unique experience staying on the boat, and it made for some interesting talking points when people found out where we were staying. Parking is the only thing that really lets the place down, you either have to park in a hotel nearby (With a discounted rate) and walk (Not ideal when it’s cold and wet!) Or park outside on the road, but I couldn’t find details of restrictions, so didn’t risk it. The boat was and tidy, if you’re 6ft 4in tall (Like me) you may want to give it a miss as it was quite tight for me to get in and out of rooms, but this is to be expected. Overall, a fun experience and worth a stay if you’re needing access to Hampton/Kingston/Richmond.

  • This was such a great stay! The yaught was so comfortable and klaus was very helpful and we will definitely stay again!! Xx

    Emily2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible stay!!!! We were lucky enough to stay on the May bank holiday which coincided with a heatwave and what a beautiful time to stay on the yacht! From the start, Natasha and Klaus were brilliant with communicating and kindly put up some birthday balloons and banners for my boyfriend's birthday. We made use of the kayak and pedalo which was great fun. The kitchen was fully equipped with all amenities. The main bedroom was spacious and nice and cool despite the outside heat. The living room was great with many board games, books, Netflix, PS3 and Dvds to use. We didnt have time to use these as we were too busy sunning ourselves on the sun loungers on the deck! Bbq facilities and local wildlife make for a perfect summer evening (although I can imagine even on a rainy night the yacht would be fantastic!) Without a doubt, a very unique, memorable special stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will certainly be back!!!!!!

    Emma2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • A few days on the boat makes a great change from the norm. Lovely to sit on the foredeck with a mug of coffee and watch the bird life and boats drift by.

“It's actually like a small flat inside the main house, with ensuite" - is how one happy guest described our ground floor space with own access to kitchen area. Close to shops and pubs, there are excellent transport links into London and Heathrow.
Our ground floor airbnb room is set aside from the main house giving our guests a tranquil and private retreat. There is a separate seating area within the bright and welcoming room. The spacious shower room is next door and guests have their own access into the kitchen area.
Isleworth is a small town of Saxon origin sited within the London Borough of Hounslow in west London, England. It is a mainly residential area with several parks. Please note Isleworth is seven miles away from Heathrow airport and our house is sometimes under the flight path. We live about 15 minutes from the Thames and there are lovely walks along the river and across into the picturesque town of Richmond. Twickenham rugby stadium is only 15 - 20 minute walk from us.

  • My only complaint is I wish I could give Victoria more stars!!! The flat is in a wonderful location, her brother kindly met me and helped show me around the apartment and gave me transit information for the area. Her flat is exceptionally clean, with every amenity I needed and more-- I really felt at home there! She was kind enough to let me stay an extra hours before check out, as my flight got delayed which I sincerely appreciated, as I did not have to drag my luggage everywhere! The local areas are great too, with Richmond Park not too far away, lovely restaurants and areas to walk at Kingston upon Thames, access to wonderful shopping, and a truly friendly neighborhood. Thank you Victoria for all your wonderful help! :)

  • Great stay in a lovely apartment. Lots of space, modern and even nicer than the photos suggest. Vikky was polite and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Great stay in well furnished and self-contained flat in a convenient location - Vicky is a good host. No parking at premises, but there's a secure multi-storey just across the road (£12 per day max) so no real issue there if you're driving.

  • Spacious and comfortable apartment. Great privacy and very convenient location for Kingston centre etc...

  • Victoria was a great host. Always available to help. The flat was very nice with everything we needed during our stay. It is in a great location with plenty of shops/restauarants a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Victorias place to anyone.

My place is in a quiet area close to loads of parks, transport links, and Wimbledon. Here you'll be close enough to enjoy the London city life without the hassle. A car parking space in driveway, 15 min walk to Raynes Park or 6 min bus to Morden tube (24hr into town at Weekend). Kitchen with breakfast bar looking onto our lovely back garden. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The host family live in the house attached to the annex. You have your own entry.
Google Map of local area can be shared with you when you are confirmed.
  • Vincent and Mel were great hosts and I had no problems at all during my stay. The annexe was clean and comfortable and was perfect for my stay in the area on business. Would definitely use again!

    Matt2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Vincent was great from start to finish. He was very quick to respond to messages and friendly at all times. The annex was exactly what we were looking for, clean, stylish, cosy and in the perfect location for us . Vincent was also very accommodating when we needed to change our check out time.

    Nicola2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • You can go eyes closed with vincent and Mel! Hosts very welcoming, appartement clean and bright, super comfort. Only a few minutes by bus from the train station, easy access to central London. Vincent and Mel are very helpful and very kind. Thank you very much for allowing us to discover your beautiful country :)

    Aurelia2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Vincent and Mel's place is exactly as described on the Airbnb site and was very comfortable with everything that you need for a weekend break for a couple. Wide range of TV channels in case of a rainy day and perfect location for the Wimbledon area.

    Richard2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the style of this place. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding at Morden Hall which is 7 minutes away in a taxi. There is some building work going on in the house next door which was quite loud during our stay so made it a little less relaxing than anticipated. The place was clean, the bed was comfy and tea and coffee was provided which was a nice touch

  • This weeks addition, a microwave. Lovely place and friendly family

    Anne-Marie2017-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Vincent and Mel's annexe for two nights while on a trip to the tennis at Wimbledon. The annexe was clean and comfortable and Vincent and Mel responded quickly to any communication. There is good public transport to Wimbledon and also to the centre of London. It was ideal for our visit to Wimbldon.

Very cosy apartment close to Heathrow Airport and only an hour commute into the City. Perfect for anyone and families are welcome!
Spacious and affordable space very close to transport amenities.
  • I booked on a very short notice and my request got confirmed only a few hours after I had sent it. The room was pretty cool and separate from the main house. There was lots of amenities and even a microwave in the kitchen. :)

  • Great host and very friendly. Private space. Whole family enjoyed our trip to 100%. Highly recommended!

    Marian2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed a night after a long flight before our cruise started, Vishal’s mom was really nice and helpful.

    Ashley2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • This a great little comfortable place to stay just before a flight ahead. While most places claim they are kids friendly, they end up providing white linen through out the house which makes it difficult to maintain with two kids under 5. This was truly kids friendly with hardly anything in white. They also have a cute little garden outside the house which the kids loved to explore. Only downside to this place is the constant sound of air planes flying in and out, However it never affected our sleep during the stay. Lovely host who even was thoughtful to stock the fridge with milk. Special thanks for that. Definite value for money. I recommend this place without any reservation.

    Rams2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Vishal's place was exactly as advertised. We got to get in easily in the bus to the airport was pretty straightforward period we got there in plenty of time period perfect for a overnight before flight!

    Sean2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful host! Very acoomodating and friendly, will definitely stay again when in London and need to be close to the airport.

    Kimberly2018-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely time here it was a short bus ride from the airport and was nice because it is your own studio so you can have your own space with a kitchen in a nice quiet area. They were very flexible with check in and check out as well .thank you :)

Tudor Court is a 600-year-old Coach house, once owned by Henry VIII. Of his 6 wives, Anne Boleyn, Katherine Parr and Elizabeth I stayed here. It is set in authentic Tudor gardens with Hanworth Park opposite. There's free parking and excellent road & train links (30mins to London Waterloo). Very close to Heathrow, Twickenham, Richmond & Hampton Court. Most of all it’s a stunning space, full of history, peaceful and very private, it has to be seen to be appreciated.
The fully centrally-heated apartment is a large Studio which includes a full size kitchen with double oven and hob. The separate, adjoining bathroom has a powerful shower and bath for a good soak with unrestricted hot water and a washing machine. It is furnished with all you could need, e.g., pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, refrigerator, high-speed fibre Internet access (Wi-Fi and wired) TV and DVD player. Bathed in sunlight in the morning and a fabulous view of the sunset in the evening, the apartment windows overlook the elegant Tudor gardens of the courtyard to one side and Hanworth Park to the other side. You have access to the beautiful grounds and gardens which include an orchard, lawns, a fish pond and fountain where you can relax with a glass of wine. We live next door and are available to help with almost anything.
There is absolutely loads to see and enjoy such as, Hampton Court Palace; Kew Gardens; Kempton Park Racecourse and many other places of interest. Richmond-Upon-Thames is within easy reach of Tudor Court. There you will find restaurants and bars along the river, a theatre, night clubs and great shopping. Twickenham rugby ground is fifteen minutes away by bus. More locally, Hanworth Park is just across the road where Henry VIII and Elizabeth I hunted deer. Across the park there is a gym with swimming pool, Yoga, Pilates and many other classes. A 10-min walk takes you to a 14-screen Cinema, Bowling Alley, Restaurants, Paint-balling and other amusements. There is even an indoor Go-Kart Racing stadium near Heathrow for the more daring among you. Saint George’s church lies adjacent to Tudor Court. There has been a church on the site since at least the fourteenth century. The church was first mentioned in 1293 and several Kings and Queens of England are known to have worshipped there - it is really beautiful.
  • The highlight of the property is definitely the location, the buildings are absolutely stunning. Local area is easily accessible too, really pleased with our stay and would recommend!

  • This was a great place to stay. Right on the bus route to take you to the train station. I would stay there again!

  • Brilliant place to stay. Steeped in history and perfect for visiting Hampton Court,Kew gardens and beautiful Richmond Park, complete with deer,a view of st Paul’s cathedral and a cream tea. An easy commute into the city if wandering around the river and Richmond’s cafe culture isn’t enough. We crossed the city by public transport to see the bluebells in the wood In Wanstead Park in under two hours. Comfortable bed, good shower all amenities and a gorgeous view of the garden. Rufus is a great host who gave us a knowledgeable tour of Tudor Court. We didn’t want to leave.

  • Location: Pros - Beautifully located near the airport in the countryside. The exterior of the building has such an old English charm to it and the landscaping was the cherry on top. We truly felt like we were staying in a place of history. Getting to the hotel from the airport was quite easy. H25 bus would bring you right there after some time and many stops in between. Cons - Location away from the city. For us who are in a younger age category it’s much too far from the “action” of the city of London. For a day or two I could see this place being perfect for a little romantic getaway for two but for us 5 nights and the amount of travel there and back each day from Central London and back again took 1.5-2 hours of travel time each way. It was cost quite a lot, so when looking at price this added up very quickly. Room - Pros: Let’s just say the building and room is old, historically speaking. So if you are into quaint traditional English living it has a cute loft cottage feel to it. The bed was comfortable enough for two, plenty of storage space, hot water and plenty of it! Coming into a fruit plate and some wine to have after a long day of travel was a nice touch! Plenty of light coming thru the windows with a beautiful view of the courtyard below. Cons: The towel we received were quite scratchy, we also only received 1 each for our stay of 5 days (2 showers each day per person) so they weren’t as fresh as when we first used them. More pillows also would of been welcomed. I am sure that if asked our host would of gotten us more but with how much time we spent out of the BnB I didn’t want to knock on their door late at night or early in the morning. Also the door has no way too lock on the exterior or at least our key didn’t work so while we felt safe enough to keep the door unlocked while we traveled we wish we could of locked it more securely when we left, and most than just a deadbolt at night. Host- Pros: Rufus is a very nice host! Very kind and personable. I honestly can say I have no issues with him - he also said if we needed anything just to ask. I only wish we had a way to interact like a simple notepad if we needed something extra so as to not feel like a bother. Cons: None Price- Pros - for the price you are getting a beautiful location, snug in the countryside and a very nice host. Cons - for all the above you are having to pay a good deal of money and time for all the travel there and back from the city. Overall- Would we stay here again? If we had...

  • A great and quaint place and a fantastic host! Always available and very helpful! All the essentials in the studio and very clean!

    Sophie2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool place! Rufus met us when we arrived, and everything was ready for us. There was a huge bowl of fresh fruit set out. The location was a bit further out than we thought, but the H25 bus stops right outside the gate, and Hatton Cross Underground station is only a few miles away. Night time is quiet there, the bed is very comfy, and we slept very well. We wish we'd had time to learn more about the area and tour the property with the resident expert. In general, lots of charm, loads of history, nice place to stay.
